  We rented Hillview Country Club for our wedding and reception. The place is beautiful ! We had 250 guests and they were "impressed" with what they seen. The staff was awesome, very helpful, and they went out and beyond the duties of what a staff would normally do. They helped us decorate, and moved what we needed moved. Since no one had rented it the night before the staff let us come in and set up, and bring in supplies we had rented ( such as arch, candalabras, ice sculpture boxes and lights. They even let us set up a big lighted sign out on 44 to let our out of staters know exactly where the wedding was being held. They worked with our dj to find him the perfect place to set up, as well as letting us borrow their piano. And the food was out of this world. We had so many compliments on the food. We chose the bbq ribs, chicken, and catfish with all the sides and rolls. It has now been 3 years since we have gotten married and we are still the talk of how beautiful our wedding was and how good the food was. If I had a dollar for every time I hear about how great the food was I would be rich !!

  I attended my friends reception here on the hottest day of the year!!! It was 108 degrees outside! People who were guests (and my friend the Bride) flipped out because it was about 84 degrees inside. Now, I know she was stressed, but come on! the room had this awesome view of their golf course... I mean wall to wall, floor to ceiling (sp?) windows that ran the length of the whole room. BEAUTIFUL! I know we all wanted it to be cooler, but they did everything they could to help us out. they even brought in portable airconditioners and fans!!! I was watching everyone and half of them were going in and out to smoke and they kept propping open this huge door to the outside. Come on people! don't complain if you are causing the problem!
  Anyways. I know my friend and she caused a lot of problems for her own evening.
  So, after reading one of her comments on Facebook, I decided to set the record straight (by the way, I just booked this venue for my own party! even after being at my friends)
  1. the food was awesome!
  2. the staff was way beyond accomodating and professional (I don't know how, because they had tons of people yelling at them)
  3. I won't tell what they did, but they went out of their way to try to make everyone happy (especially my friend).
  4. I appologize for my friend. She was just unhappy all day (even at the church).
  5. I am excited to have my party there!!!!!

  They were great! They helped up set up before the event and were really flexible about how long we stayed. They were also great about answering any questions while we were planning. Great prices as well!

  Janice sat down with us and answered every single question. We were able to stop in to see other receptions before they began to get ideas of decorations and set-up. The food was wonderful, the facility is beautiful and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone wishing to have a reception in Franklin.

  We wanted to do something different for our wedding reception, a dessert reception, and Hillview created a menu just for that occasion! It was a beautiful venue at a reasonable price! The staff was very great to work with and they made the planning process go very smoothly! I would absolutely recommend Hillview to anyone who wants to have a beautiful reception at a great price!

  Hillview Country Club is an excellent place to hold a ceremony and reception. The entire staff is polite and professional. With only a few slight problems, the event was truly remarkable!
