Thoughtful and Close to Home

I had a wonderful experience working with Anne and Herndon Florist. She was extremely responsive to all of my requests, while considering the overall look and availability of flowers for the bouquet. She worked with me to find flowers that would work with my dress (which had a floral motif) and would reflect the bright, springtime spirit of my wedding. My bouquet was beautifully structured, with incredible textures and exactly the color pallette I was hoping for. Anne was also incredibly kind (even though I was sometimes tough to get a hold of!) and flexible with pickup of my flowers. I so appreciate all of her work, and highly recommend her for any nearby event.

I loved our flowers from Herndon Florist! Anne was great to work with and delivered beautiful flowers. She is so kind and thoughtful--I liked that she was really patient with us and open to finding affordable alternatives. We initially determined that dahlias were out of our price range/potentially wouldn't be in season for our big day...but day of, viola! They were gorgeous and I brought them on our mini moon :)

Beautiful and precise

We wanted simple but beautiful flowers for a decent price and this vendor truly delivered. Everything was done the way we wanted it to a T. Would highly recommend and definitely use again!

Perfect wedding flowers

Anne with Herndon Florist was AMAZING! We explained our unique color pallet and she perfectly captured our wedding colors and winter wedding theme in the flowers and bouquets!

Beautiful Flowers and Excellent Service

In the hours after our wedding, my husband said "The vendor who did the best job was definitely the florist!" I couldn't agree more, and we had the perfect day. Neither one of us had a very clear or specific vision of what we wanted for florists, but as soon as we went to Herndon Florists, that changed. It was easy to set up an appointment with them. The store itself is so calming and pleasant--we both said we would have loved to spend the whole day in there! We met with Carol and she was incredible. We talked through colors, shapes, overall thoughts, and she quickly pulled together a sample bouquet that we got to keep. She walked us through all aspects of the wedding and had the perfect balance of respecting our thoughts and adding in her opinion. We knew we could trust her experience and knowledge.

After that initial appointment, my communication was all with the owner, Anne. She was quick to respond and very flexible with our ideas. It was the easiest part of wedding planning! The flowers we got were so beautiful and added so much to the overall look. I cannot say enough how much we loved the bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages. I highly recommend Herndon Florist!

We booked Herndon Florist for our daughter's wedding. I told Anne what I wanted to spend and what my daughter liked, and she came up with the perfect flowers for our event! She was so easy to work with and really worked with me to stay in my budget while providing great options! The flowers looked amazing!!!! She really did a great job matching our colors with the most beautiful flowers. I highly recommend them!

I really enjoyed working with Anne to design the floral arrangements for my wedding a few weeks ago. I don’t know much about flowers but Anne was very thorough and thoughtful, and helped to guide me through the process of picking flowers that all matched each other and the feel of my wedding. She was honest and realistic about pricing, and even helped me find ways to achieve my vision with flowers that were more in line with my budget. I would highly recommend working with her!

Herndon Florist did an incredible job on the flowers for our wedding. They were very flexible, doing a lot of the planning over the phone as we were planning from a distance. Very willing and able to work with the budget I gave them. Very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing certain flowers over other ones for their look/cost/sturdiness etc. I am so glad I found Herndon Florist, they did an amazing job!

Herndon Florist provided such beautiful flowers for my wedding ceremony and reception. I was so impressed with Anne's work. I said the colors I had envisioned for the wedding, and she put it together beautifully! We met twice before the wedding, and the second time we met, I wanted to change a lot of things, and she was so flexible with it. She even said at our first meeting, "You can change everything, including the groom up until the week of the wedding!" I even called her two weeks before stressing about the amount we were paying, and she lowered the cost and made sure it was in my budget :)

I had no idea what type of flowers I wanted when I went into my consultation with Herndon Florist. I knew the colors I wanted; from that little bit of information, they were able to create stunning bouquets and boutonnieres for my bridal party. They popped perfectly but didn't distract from the dresses or us as a whole. I let them take the lead, even when I thought I knew better what I wanted, and I am so happy that I did!

Herndon Florist has been a staple in Herndon for many years. We have bought numerous flowers and arrangements from them. All staff members are professional, knowledgeable, and gracious. The flowers provided for our daughter's wedding were magnificent.

Herndon Florist did a beautiful job with the bouquets for my wedding - they were exactly what I was hoping for and at a reasonable price! I chose them because I wanted to support a local florist, and of those I communicated with in the area, were the easiest to work with and the most responsive. Ann at Herndon Florist, Inc was wonderful. She's the only florist who actually listened to what I had in mind! Also, her prices were lower than every other place we checked out. She lets you change your order up until a month or so before the wedding, and her team is on-time and helpful. My bouquet was beautiful. I would definitely recommend these guys for a wedding... they only do one per weekend so that they can put their effort/time into yours when it's your turn!

I had a very small wedding and only needed two bouquets and two boutonnieres. My request was somewhat last-minute for a wedding (5 weeks beforehand) and it was difficult for me to get away from work to actually visit the shop in person. Anne Harvey at Herndon Florist was beautifully accommodating. She agreed to work with me through email instead of in person, which was great! Also, all I knew was "I want lilacs, and my dress is merlot colored". She made great suggestions on what would go well with both, and the flowers all turned out gorgeously on the wedding day. Delivery to our Leesburg venue even showed up a little ahead of schedule. Great service!

I was a bit hesitant using them because the pictures on their website were outdated but arrangements I have sent my parents from there have been beautiful. We told her what our colours were and a few sample pics and they nailed it. Absolutely lovely flowers!

Ann was Fabulous! I contacted her almost a year in advance and she was so gracious to sit and talk with us when most florists told me to come back in 8 months. She listened and executed exactly what I envisioned for my flowers. She was so flexible and worked within our budget to create the most gorgeous arrangments I could have asked for. She only takes one wedding per weekend so it was nice knowing that she would be doing the flowers and not farm it out to some other employee I had never met.

Anne (the owner) was wonderful and so helpful. She help guide me through the process letting me know what flowers were in season so I could keep to my budget which was very important to me. Arlene and Bobbe, the two women who designed the arrangements were great. The flowers turned out so beautiful and everything looked even better then I had imgined. Judy, the woman who brought my flowers to the event was fabulous. She is so sweet and caring and made sure everything was in place before she left. Everyone at Herndon Florist was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommand them for any occasion.

Herndon Florist provided all the flowers for my wedding. This included the large displays for the church altar, pew bows and flowers, my bouquet and my bridesmaids bouquets, boutonneires for the groom and groomsmen and the corsages for the mothers. Herndon Florist did an excellent job helping me in the beginning to choose the flowers based on what I had envisioned for my wedding. The price was very good and they came highly recommended, so I was not concerned about anything at all and I felt comfortable letting them take care of everything! They arrived to the church on time the day of the wedding and set everything up perfectly so it was all ready to go by the time I arrived. I was very happy with their quality and service and highly recommend them!

Our wedding for my daughter was perfect. Ann and I worked well together assembling the centerpieces for the tables. Tall vases with water gems and lights. The room at the Hyatt was breathtaking to enter. The blue and white flowers and tinted Hydrangeas just to perfection. I chose them because of all the work they did with us through Herndon High School. Quality work and easy to collaborate with on ideas. Great bunch of ladies. First class work was provided.

Anne Harvey, is great to work with, and very helpful. Two weeks before the wedding she called because she couldn't get the dwarf orchids that I wanted for the groomsmen, and groom. There were no surprises, and I got exactly what I ordered, and the flowers arrived 20 min. early.

The flowers for my daughter's wedding were beautiful. Ann was most helpful in helping her select just the right colors and combinations to go with with her colors and venue. At the last minute I decided I wanted some pedestal flowers and No problem, Ann was able to provide those with ease. The flowers were delivered on time and in fact, it was stealth like, I didn't even see them come and go. Herndon Florist is the place to go for all of your florist needs. I have been using them for years, Homecoming, Prom and now weddings.

The flowers were beautiful. I was so pleased with how everything turned out. I gave the florist pictures of flowers and colors I liked, and she took it from there and really brought it all together. I didn't have to worry about any the little details, she took care of it! The delivery was on time and everything was packaged perfectly.
