It was a dream!
We decided to have our ceremony in the barn and when they opened the barn doors for me to walk down the aisle, it was like seeing what heaven must look like with all the lights, drapery and flowers. I was speechless and Kelly made sure every detail was taken care of. Could not brag enough about this venue. -

Best Wedding Venue in Memphis
From the moment I got engaged, Heartwood Hall was my dream wedding venue and my love for the venue grew after each interaction with the staff. Denise, the owner, gave us a personal tour of the property and discussed all of our options. Madi helped us decide our menu and reception layout and gave several helpful suggestions. Julie was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely amazing, she made our day run so smoothly and was available for anything we needed. The rest of the staff was super nice and helpful, any questions were answered very quickly. The food was also fabulous, we had several different stations and all of our guests were gushing about how great all of our food was. Overall, I highly recommend Heartwood Hall, you couldn’t ask for a better owner and staff. -

I don’t even know where to begin. As everyone knows, 2020 is NOT the year for weddings. I was looking forward to my big day at my dream venue for a long time. Long story short, we had to change the date twice. Once due to Covid and once for a medical emergency. Heartwood Hall was absolutely AMAZING every step of the way. All of their staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t tell you how many times my mom or I had to reach out with questions. Kelly was our reception coordinator and OH MY GOSH we cannot recommend her enough. She took such good care of me and my husband. Every time we turned around she had a new drink for us! She made sure we ate. She kept us on schedule. The venue is beautiful in itself but the staff and whole experience just make it top notch. Oh and not to mention the delicious FOOD! -

Breathtaking
Heartwood Hall is the ultimate wedding venue!! My husband and I fell in love with every detail from the moment we drove up the driveway. Our theme was “Southern Chic” and Heartwood Hall was the perfect canvas. I highly recommend Heartwood Hall for a magical unforgettable wedding experience. -

Heartwood Hall is so so so beautiful. It creates the perfect back drop for your ceremony and reception. The staff at Heartwood really is what made our wedding and planning an exceptional experience. Everyone was so kinda and generous. I felt like they were honest and kept their word. The communication was timely and organized. Taylor really help me with any and all of my questions. I appreciated her quick responses in email. The hospitality they showed us was incredible. Kelly, our wedding coordinator was truly a God send. She made sure the whole wedding flowed and all I had to do was enjoy the night. She took such great care of my husband and I during the night, made sure we had drinks and we new the plan, she made sure the get away car was pulled up and ready for us when the night was over. She literally did everything behind the scenes and left me with only one task, enjoy the night! She went above and beyond and even made sure my sweet flower dog was taken care of too! I was so so so thankful she was there to handle all of that! It was such an incredible special perfect day and I know that was a lot to do with the great job Heartwood did. They are not only professionals but just super genuine and kind people who shared the excitement of the day with us! Thank you to everyone who help make it great and special thank you to Kelly, the night would have been a totally mess with out you. Thank you for ALL of the effort you made to make it perfect for us! -

I cannot say enough about how much I love Heartwood Hall and its people! Obviously, if you've ever seen the venue, you know it's THE MOST beautiful space ever. But, what sets is a part even more is the people. From the very first meeting with their coordinator to tour the venue to now, they've been so good to us. My mom and I had lots of questions during the nine months leading up to my wedding and they were always so responsive and helpful. We got married one month ago and they are still reaching out to us gushing about our wedding and making us feel really special. My grandmother passed away one month before our wedding and they helped us come up with some special ways to honor her on our special day, like we were their own family. Even though they have weddings at their venue at least once a week, they make you feel like you're their only bride. -

It was everything I wanted and more. My coordinator communicated with all of my other vendors (DJ, Pasty Chef, Photographer, florist, etc.) for me and all I had to do was sit back and relax. I created my own centerpieces and they made it so easy because all I had to do is give them a photo of how I wanted everything arranged and they put it all together. It was PERFECT. -

Amazing!!!!
Incredible venue as well as all the amazing people that work there. My wedding was the smoothest wedding I had ever been too and looked like a winter wonderland! The staff is friendly and professional and the venue is incredible, my favorite venue in the Memphis area! -

I loved everything about this place!
My husband and I are travel nurses so most of our wedding planning was done out of state. Heartwood Hall was originally out of my budget but once I really looked into it, it was absolutely worth every single penny spent. My sister in law and mother in law took a tour for us while we were working in Alaska and faced timed us during the visit before we mailed in our deposit. I would recommend Heartwood Hall to anyone who is looking for a beautiful stress free... yes Stress free venue! They did everything and it was amazing. Our day of coordinator was great and kept everything moving as it should. Our wedding day was perfect. They only thing I wish was a little different was the time allotment they give you. We had 3 hours before the ceremony and 4 from the time the ceremony starts and for the cocktail hour and reception. Seven hours seems like a lot but it goes by soooo fast. We didn't do a first look so I felt a little rushed for the pictures after the ceremony and still have plenty of time for the reception. Overall, I can't thank them enough for making our day perfect. -

The coordinators made me feel at ease and assured me that I didn’t have a thing to worry about. Our guests were raving about absolutely everything! (Especially the Mac and Cheese). Thank you, Heartwood, for making it the most memorable day of our lives and it being so easy to enjoy!

Victoria Sent on 03/15/2017I have nothing but positive and wonderful things to say about Heartwood Hall, the staff and the incredible experience I had working with them! They were so professional in everything they did, from the meetings beforehand to the set-up and throughout the entire reception!
The barn is absolutely incredible, the food was delicious, the staff was amazing and my wedding coordinator, Amanda, was so helpful and kind and made sure that everything ran smoothly, which it did!!
I would reccommend Heartwood Hall every time! -

Rebecca Sent on 12/27/2014I knew from the start I wanted to have my wedding at Heartwood Hall. Unfortunately, it was well out of my price range so I had to keep looking. My mom and I must have looked at 50 other places within an hour radius, but in the end, we knew that this was the best option! For the price, they literally take care of everything! That's one of the main reasons I chose them. Not only do they sit down with you and discuss menu options, but they take care of all the linens and decorations so you can sit back and relax (or focus on grad school & finals and not have the added stress of a wedding). That was HUGE for me. They were very accommodating and easy to get in touch with. The day-of wedding planner that I got assigned was a tremendous help. She brought us whatever we needed and helped us stick to a schedule but was not overbearing and was extremely nice! Guests had nothing but excellent things to say about the venue ("Collierville's best kept secret" because none of the locals had ever heard of Heartwood!). As for the food and decorations- incredible. Hot chocolate bar was a HUGE success! Heartwood at Christmas time is phenomenally beautiful! I don't think we had a single problem with Heartwood. Very pleased & would definitely choose them again if I had to do it all over. -

I originally had my venue booked at Cedar Hall but we moved to Heartwood. Things were mostly wonderful. I really enjoyed my wedding and everything was beautiful. What I didn't love was that Covid restrictions were not discussed until AFTER my dinner menu planning meeting and after I asked. At that point we made the decision to move to Heartwood but had I not asked, I would have been required to wear a mask at my wedding reception. I thought that was deceptive by not being transparent. The day of the wedding I had a whole basket of programs and I wanted the left overs as a memento. They were apparently discarded because they were never found after asking and an email from the groom was ignored. I had to pay my stationer to reprint programs so I could have a couple to keep. Lastly, we did not know that we were not going to be taking home a to go box of the food we had at our reception. We spent a lot of time talking to guests at dinner because we thought we were going to get at least one take away box. We opened it that night and it was chicken salad. I felt like I didn't even enjoy my own wedding dinner because this was not really explained ahead of time. Had I known I would have savored what we had. Just some small things that left a sad impression. -

Kiara Sent on 12/26/2017Everything was PERFECT! I am a very fiscally responsible person, but I will be the first to say that it was worth every penny. The grounds alone are just breathtaking. The personalization and attention to detail are the cherry on top. I did not have to worry about anything or lift a finger on 6/9/2017 (best day ever). If I had to do it all over again there are things that I would change, but Heartwood Hall would remain the same! You won’t regret having your wedding here. I was truly blown away when I got my wedding photos and the best thing is that you could not add a single decoration of your own and the venue would still be as picturesque. The only negative I would say is that my guests kept telling me about my coordinator drinking and being at the bar so I don’t think that’s very professional to drink the alcohol that we paid for for our guests.... but that can be fixed.

They managed everyone well and had the timeline planned perfectly & even kept some of our vendors in check! I loved everything about it! However, I did feel like they kindof nickel and dime you and I didn't like that. For example, the make you use their food and you can't find an outside caterer and then they charge you 20% food tax on top of everything else with the venue. They also charge a cake cutting fee per slice of cake they cut to serve to your guests, which I thought was kind of over the top but, other than those few negatives heartwood hall was a gorgeous venue & it was well worth the money. Just wish the company would change those few things and I would've been a all around happy customer!
