an absolute dream!

so glad we decided to splurge on getting a string quartet versus just playing music from a speaker! It changed the whole vibe and ambience of our venue and it was very romantic. I loved that we were able to choose two songs for the team to learn and play. I can't recommend this group enough! Melody was very responsive to all of my questions. If you're considering a string quartet in the Houston area, this is the one to go with!

Amazing!!!!

Harmony Strings was absolutely AMAZING!!!
Melody was so patient with me from Day 1 right up to Date 424, the day of the wedding!! They learned a few songs for us early on and even learned one at the last minute that my mom requested the week of 😟! They are the definition of going above and beyond for their client and are oh, SO TALENTED!!!! We were honored to have them be the background music of the most special day of the beginning of the rest of our lives!

Amazing & Beautiful

Harmony Strings was absolutely amazing in every step during the setup of the wedding. They accommodated every request and was happy to help any way they could to make sure we had the most amazing experience.

When we got to the wedding the sound was absolutely perfect. They were in tune with our pastor (who sang) and allowed for such a memorable experience. Thank you so much!

Super easy!

Harmony Strings was great at communicating with us and answering all our questions. They basically took care of themselves the day of, and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Played beautifully as well. :)

Worth it by a long shot!

I cannot recommend Harmony Strings enough. They were amazing to work with prior to the wedding. Melody was responsive and even though one of the songs I had them learn was pretty lengthy, she still allowed me to have an additional song to add for them to learn.
They arrived timely and looked professional. The music was BEAUTIFUL! We got so many compliments from our guests. It truly elevated our wedding.
Lastly, they learned and played my bridal entrance song which brought many guests to tears. And they also played my mom’s favorite song, but waited for her to arrive at the cocktail hour. So thoughtful and kind!!
If you are looking for a string quartet, Harmony strings is the one you need!

Absolutely enchanting

We hired Harmony Strings to play the first half of our wedding reception, from when the guests first entered, through dinner and it added such a magical element to the whole experience. So many of our guests complimented on their performance and the range of songs. Additionally, Melody was so easy to work with, sending the list of songs to choose from, learning two additional covers and being so flexible with our planning! I highly recommend Harmony Strings!

Absolutely wonderful - April 6, 2024 Wedding

My wedding was so much better having Harmony Strings play prior to ceremony and after ceremony. The venue itself is beautiful but having your music added even more elegance to our wedding. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful everything was including the music.

Amazing experience

Fantastic!

From start the finish it was a pleasure to work with harmony strings. Their sound was great, and they were so responsive with an AMAZING song collection including many Jewish songs. They arrived on time and even created a special song for our processional.

They were a great price for the value. We are so happy with our decision!

Amazing customer service

Melody and the rest of Harmony Strings were the most amazing quartet to work with. Melody and her composer worked tirelessly to help my father find the correct key so they could accompany him as he sang during our ceremony. She was always very responsive and I am grateful for her help. I would recommend Harmony Strings for every event!

Perfect quartet for wedding or holiday party!

We hired Harmony Strings to play music at our company holiday party. As the guests walked in, everyone was pleasantly surprised to have a wonderful sounding quartet playing music for us! Melody was easy to work with, very responsive and professional. We all enjoyed having Harmony Strings play at our event. I would hire them again in the future!

Lovely ceremony music!

Harmony Strings' string quartet played beautiful music for our ceremony! They have a large selection of modern songs and even learned a song for us, which was very special. We got so many compliments from guests about the ceremony music. They were professional and easy to communicate with before the wedding. Would definitely recommend!

Absolutely Beautiful

We used Harmony Strings for our wedding 5 years ago and again for our daughters wedding this past weekend. Both ceremonies took place on an outdoor patio and they played for us during the ceremony and cocktail hour. There were compliments by everyone at how beautiful and elegant the quartet was and also amazed at their flexibility and ability to cater things as needed on a moments notice. We loved working with Melody and look forward to the next opportunity to book HS!

World Class

Harmony Strings was an absolute stellar experience from start to finish. First of all, leading up to the wedding, communication was friendly, professional, prompt, and answered the important questions before I even needed to ask them. Second, leading up to the event, we were asked about any specific songs we would like them to learn for us. We were sent 2 recordings of these songs for our pre-approval which completely blew us away. Not only were we not expecting custom songs, but we weren’t expecting such a high quality keepsake that we will cherish forever. Finally, the day-of service and performance was second-to-none. We had a 4-piece group which was an excellent fit for a wedding of 180 people, outdoors, for both ceremony and cocktail hour. The band was perfectly on time and set themselves up, moving between 2 locations. We received multiple compliments from our guests. We were involved with MULTIPLE contracts for our big day, and Harmony Strings was among the easiest to work with and left the most positive lasting impression. I am hoping that we find a way to hire this group in the future.

A Night To Remember

From start to finish, our experience with Harmony Strings was MAGNIFICIENT. Run, don't walk, to book them! Ahead of time, we were sent a sample of our chosen song, and upon hearing it, we were in tears. On the day of the wedding, the live renditions of our selected songs were MAGICAL. Harmony Strings and Melody were absolutely fantastic and EASY To work with...they were one of my vendors that on my wedding day I did not need to worry about at all. The most magical moment of our wedding!

Working with Harmony Strings was an absolute dream come true. We were at a loss about how to pace our ceremony, but they completely eliminated this worry by using our chosen songs to pace out our ceremony and cocktail hour. The most magical part of the experience was that they learned two songs of our choosing and made them more beautiful than the original songs. Working with Harmony was amazing, she was such a great communicator and was there every step of the way from booking to the day of the wedding. Outstanding music!

Harmony Strings was phenomenal. Their music added the perfect ambiance to my daughter's wedding. They played all of the songs the bride and groom requested and were so easy to work with--especially when we had to postpone the wedding date because of the pandemic. Accompanied me for a special song

The Romantic Wedding of 2019 *

Harmony Strings made my daughters wedding into the fairy tale romance she has always wanted. I appreciate the string quartet learning the special music for the wedding singer and the special surprise instrumental piece for the groom as the bride walked down the aisle. Thank you Melody :)

Beautiful music brought a personal touch to the ceremony.

My husband is a huge video game nerd. So for the wedding I wanted to walk down the aisle to one of his favorite songs from a game's soundtrack. Melody from Harmony strings was extremely professional, accommodating, and fantastic to work with. I emailed her a few YouTube links from version of the song I liked and their in house composer created a beautiful rendition that brought my husband (and everyone else) to tears. The secret song was the highlight of the wedding and it wouldn't have been possible without the amazing people and musicians at Harmony Strings.

First Rate Performance

We loved Harmony Strings and heard so many nice comments about them from our guests. We hired the pop quartet for both the ceremony and cocktail hour, and it was so nice to hear about people singing and dancing along to the oldies and top hits of today. Amazing Experience!

Absolutely would recommend them! Melody was very responsive and suggested songs when I didn't know any to use. She also did a recording of a song I found and I end up walking down the aisle to it! Amazing!

Exactly what we wanted on our wedding day :)

My wife and I are so happy we had Harmony Strings as a part of our wedding. Melody was very responsive and helpful, and on the day of, they sounded amazing and added a beautiful touch to our ceremony, social hour, and first dance. They have a huge repertoire of classical and modern music, and were also able to cover First Day of My Life by Bright Eyes for our processional. Highly recommend!!

Harmony strings was very easy to work with and gave us no trouble at all. They were willing to learn two arrangements we requested at no cost which allowed my wife to walk down the aisle to the special song she wanted and it sounded so perfect. We got so many compliments from our family and friends at the reception about how beautiful the strings sounded during the ceremony. We were VERY satisfied with their performance and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have some elegant music for their special day.

Love Harmony Strings

We had the best experience with Harmony Strings! We found them on OutSmart, as we're a same gender couple and wanted to work with only inclusive vendors. We booked their string quartet WAY in advance, and they were so responsive to our questions throughout our yearlong engagement. Our contract stated they'd learn up to 3 songs that weren't in their repertoire, and we only asked them to learn one because any other song we could think of was already in their repertoire! They learned the song and sent us an mp3 file of it so we could make sure we liked it. The process was so smooth.

They played before the ceremony, during the ceremony, and during cocktail hour. Apparently there was a moment where a bow broke and they had to switch it out quickly, but I'm pretty sure no one noticed and it went super smoothly. I got a lot of compliments on the music that night.

Harmony Strings performed beautiful, traditional hymns at my wedding. Almost every one of my guests told me how beautiful the stringed trio was and how they really contributed to the sacredness of the event. I highly recommend Harmony Strings to anyone who desires beautiful Strings at their wedding - for hymns or for any other type of music. The cherry on top was my email communication with the group. They were thorough, informative, and respectful in all our communications. A huge blessing since communicating with many different vendors is such a big part of wedding planning.

Harmony Strings was the very first vendor we booked, almost two years ahead of time. My dream was always to have a string quartet play at our wedding and the second we heard them…we had to book them. Melody and her group were amazing. She was able to answer all my questions beforehand and help me pick out music. They have a large selection ranging from classical to modern day music. The day of our wedding they arrived early and the music was amazing. They were able to play music to accommodate our wedding and with everyone walking down the aisle. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding amazing and would recommend them any day of the week….they are by far the best string quartet in Houston!

From the very beginning they were wonderful and professional! Melody was my contact person and she answered my questions and sent me samples of their contemporary music. We had the grandparents and the groom and his parents walk down to sweet child of mine and the bridal party walked down to yellow by coldplay. They accommodated a special request of mine to play a few chords of the bridal chorus and then transition to All You Need is Love as I walked down the aisle. Our guests loved the music and it added a beautiful element to our wedding day. I am so excited to see our wedding video so I can hear the music I missed while I was hiding away from everyone before the ceremony. :) Thanks for everything!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had very prompt and courteous communications with Melody when planning for the party. She provided me with all of the varied options for our party from two musicians to four musicians. We opted for four. The crew arrived as planned, and got set up. The Holiday Musical tunes were nothing but splendid. My guest all commented on how professional and pleasant it was to have live music rather than recorded music for the event. The team stayed to the contracted time and we provided them with gift bags of goodies from the table to take home and enjoy. I provided each with a tip and expressed our whole hearted appreciation for the added joy that their performance added to the event. I would definitely consider this quartet to anyone who is looking for adding a unique flair to their holiday events.

Without a doubt, this quartet added a classiness and sophistication you can't just "buy", which made our wedding ceremony not just beautiful, but even more memorable and meaningful to all parties attending (young and old.) They enhanced an atmosphere of elegance. We chose a mostly classic repetroir of selections, from Bach to Handel and they were all played beautifully. One, "pop song" we chose -- "1000 years" -- was rendered gorgeously, as if it were from the renaissance period: even prettier than the original. In my years attending weddings, I've heard good and bad quartets, so I can say with authority that Harmony Strings is great! Beyond their skill, there is a comforting aspect to hiring them: They are one less, "unknown" in the uncertainty of wedding ceremony planning, when multiple venders must work 'in concert' for a successful evening. Harmony Strings never miss a note.

Honestly, I can't say I heard a single bit of the music playing during our ceremony, because I was trying so hard to hold it together. Harmony Strings played during our ceremony, and they were just perfect! They played 4 different songs that we requested and knocked it out of the park.

They are a little less expensive than the other string quartet (Divisi Strings) but play most of the same songs and are well worth it!

I loved Harmony Strings, Melody is very professional and always very responsive. The musicians that played at my wedding were very talented. Harmony Strings was extremely professional from start to finish. Harmony Strings also provided valuable insight into helping me choose the proper number of songs for the ceremony and answered all if my questions. The music was so beautiful - I will remember it always.

The Harmony Strings Quartet provided the music for our daughter's wedding at Briscoe Manor. We couldn't have been more pleased with their services. Their musical performance of the pieces we had chosen for the ceremony was excellent and the music they selected for the pre-ceremony music was elegant as well. They are all obviously talented musicians, very professional, and played wonderfully as a group. Their performance was beautiful and added to the ambiance and character of the ceremony.

Harmony strings definitely exceeded all of my expectations. From the beginning, Melody was very quick in responding any questions I had and was helpful with choosing music for my bridal entrance. The music was wonderful and very much made our wedding visions come alive. Our guests were raving about how beautiful the ceremony was because of the strings. I highly recommend harmony strings to anyone who is looking for beautiful music and someone who is very professional.
