Wonderful food and service!
We are so happy we chose to use Greenbriar Catering for our wedding! They were so accommodating with our last minute booking and multiple dietary restrictions, and they went out of their way to take extra safety precautions due to COVID concerns. The food was absolutely delicious and was presented well! The serving staff were very kind and helpful on the day of the wedding. We would highly recommend Greenbriar Catering for all your catering needs! -

Greenbriar catering was great! We also held our rehearsal dinner at Greenbriar Inn, which is a beautiful venue. Kris is really flexible, and she worked within our budget. She and her staff were professional, and the food was great! I would just add that if you plan to have your event at Greenbriar, just double check with the staff that you will have the whole room for your private event. There were some tables open for walk-ins in our space, which caused a bit of confusion. We brought the issue to the attention of the hostess, and ultimately no one was seated in our area during the dinner. All in all, it was a great event with great food! I think Kris would make a fantastic caterer for an event outside Greenbriar as well. -

The food was great and I think they had the best waiters I have ever had, but they were not over flexibile -

We had a beautiful wedding and the staff was very accomodating. The only thing was that the owner didn't have a person specifically in charge of weddings or events and was running the event side of the business along with the catering and bed and breakfast they run. She wasn't very organized but thankfully they have hired someone JUST to be in charge of events and contracts. -

Overall, just okay!
The food was what we expected for the most part, but I'd discussed with the caterers several times before the day of my wedding that they would be bringing their own serving tables (I offered to rent them if needed). They arrived without tables and I hadn't rented any extra to accommodate the food service. We had to scramble to find random tables at the venue to serve food. Was disappointed in the communication amongst their staff. We had also requested a vegetarian option for our guests with restrictions, but the caterers provided an option so paltry that other guests assumed it was just a topping for the chicken and beef tacos. -

Our experience with Greenbriar was okay in some areas and poor in others. They arrived early, were flexible when our DJ was late serving food and drinks prior to the reception instead of after. However there were some things we were dissatisfied with, and when they were brought to Kris' attention in an email, there was no apology or remediation, just explanations and what we took as excuses.
Our requested champagne toasts were not ready (but were paid for), even though toasts were announced to be taking place after our first dance and our first dance was over. Since our planner did not directly inform the bartender to prepare them, he waited to pour champagne until toasts were already under way and everyone was seated. One of our guests got up during the first speech, found our goblets and poured our champagne for us before the bartender responded.
I had requested two signature drinks (martinis) because I do not like beer/wine. As the bride, you expect to be able to enjoy at least one celebratory drink on your wedding day. Because drinks were served to everyone but me (tipsy procession anyone?) prior to the ceremony, and the bartender did not bother to take note of what the bride and groom (on their wedding day) were drinking and to make it available, I was informed that they were all out when I went to get a drink. (The Greenbriar Inn, where we stayed at our wedding night, runs a martini bar, but nothing was offered, poor customer service imo.)
At the end of the night, my personal platters were taken by the catering crew with leftovers on them to the Inn, and were supposed to be given to us that night. I was not informed of this until we had returned from our honeymoon and I could not find them in the things the planner had packed into our van after clean up. When contacting Kris, she knew nothing of it, but found them, all except one. -

We had a reception catered off site of their facility hosted in a hotel. They were supposed to be set up for a cocktail hour starting at 4:30 but didn't finish bar set up until 5:15. Did not bring the non alcoholic beverages we asked for or the champagne we requested for our toasts and ultimately had to skip our toasts. The food and wine selection was ok. Because they did not offer a tasting before the event we were unsure of what to expect for quality. The staff were difficult. They had to be asked to water the tables and it wasn't until my maid of honor started to water tables they jumped in. And only one was dressed nicely. Over all I would not recommend Greenbriar catering for a reception. -
