Elegant beauty and excellent service

Green Grove Gardens property sells itself. It doesn't take long to envision your most magical day amongest its beauty. Its not easy to decide the perfect ceremony location, with several options to choose. The best part, the entire grounds are yours for the day. Beyond the beauty, then there is Keith. I can not say enough of how wonderful he is. Our wedding day was truly perfect thanks to him. He is so hands on from day one. Perfect in every aspect from ceremony, to reception details and making sure all of our wishes for that day came to life. As a day of corrdinatior, I couldnt imagine anyone else. He helped to keep us on time, checked in on our well-being, made sure any last minute detail was met. He seemed to be in several places at once, or his staff. They really went above and beyond. With beautiful backgrounds, and top notch service you can not go wrong with Green Grove Gardens and what it has to offer. I would recommend again and again.

Beautifully perfect day

We found Green Grove at a local wedding exp. After going for an initial visit, we knew this was the place. We initially met with Kip but closer to our wedding date, Keith was our coordinator for the day. He was so flexible with any accommodations we requested and was SOOOO attentive day-of. We were not left wanting. We were so thankful that it didn't get too cold prior to our day, as the grounds looked absolutely GORGEOUS and the inside of the venue for the reception was so classic with lighting between the venue/dj, we didn't need excess decorations. It was beautiful! Keith and his staff were just amazing to work with and I'm so thankful our day went so smoothly. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful Venue with Even More Amazing Staff

Keith is so easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make your event exactly what you want. He was extremely easy to contact and kept in contact throughout the entire process to make sure that we were always on the same page. He was willing to work with us on changing details and adding details as we planned them. He met with us multiple times at Green Grove Gardens to show us details and to talk about the timeline of events (and he was extremely flexible in meeting times, met whenever it worked for us, even if it was a little bit later in the evening). Keith set up a tasting for us and was always extremely knowledgeable about the products and services. During our wedding day, he was in contact with all of the vendors making sure they were on time and putting things in the desired places. This was extremely helpful because I was unable to be there at the times that some of my vendors were showing up. Keith also helped us to set up the venue in the morning and even went as far as helping bring our centerpieces in from the car. He has everything down to an exact science. His professionalism, coordination with vendors, knowledge, and hard work make him one of a kind!! I'm not sure you could find the same genuine service anywhere else. Not to mention the venue is GORGEOUS! The landscaping is beautifully done and made for some amazing pictures. The inside of the venue is also serene with elegant touches. The food is also extremely delicious! Overall great food, beautiful space, hard working staff, and a director that goes above and beyond to coordinate the perfect event. We would highly recommend using Green Grove Gardens and Keith for your event if you are looking for a high quality experience!!

Green Grove Gardens is awesome!!

Our wedding and reception, held at Green Grove Gardens, were truly wonderful. Keith was our main coordinator. He was organized, attentive, kind and very flexible. He always had great ideas and input. All staff were helpful. Both the gardens and the barn are beautiful. Guests commented on how well things flowed.

The venue is absolutely stunning both inside and outside. They have tons of sites for your ceremony out behind the reception area. The food is so delicious and everyone is so friendly. Keith is the coordinator there and he is so accommodating, kind and helpful both before and during the big day! I couldn’t say enough great things about this place and how special they made my day.

I LOVE LOVE LOVED Green Grove. Our wedding went so smoothly, the price for a young couple was FANTASTIC and you pay on your own schedule. This place made every dream of ours come true without a hitch or worry. Keith did such a great job. There's also a hotel 5 minutes away. So if you want your wedding to be worry free, stop in and check out GGG!

Green Grove as a wedding venue is outstanding! The staff did a fabulous decorating and setting up ! The food was amazing . I would use Green Grove for any formal functions. Cindy' Fowler was always helpful and was ready to answer any questions pertaining to the special day. If you select Green Grove for you special occasion you will have a fabulous wedding

Only bad thing was wanting the party to end later we'd have to pay per hour. It is a little pricey but well worth it and Beautiful. I definitely recommend this venue to anyone! Thanks to Cindy who kept making sure everything was going well! Party was a big success. Will not be the last time renting this place out, Already shared with family and friends. :)

Our wedding was exceptional and we owe it to Green Grove Gardens. They were very understanding and accommodating of any and all requests. We were lucky to have them create a special menu that reflected family dishes. The food was delicious and the venue could not have been any more beautiful. Thank you to everyone involved!!!

We are still receiving phone calls from people who attended our wedding about how beautiful the grounds were! We visited the venue in May- before everything had fully bloomed. When we went back in September for our final meeting, I couldn't believe it! Every inch of the grounds were perfectly manicured and all around beautiful! The inside of the barn was beautifully laid out and the staff was perfect! Keith was an amazing day of coordinator and everything went so smooth! I can't say enough good things about Keith and the staff at GGG.

Green Grove Gardens is absolutely beautiful, countless people, even strangers have commented on my wedding photos - how gorgeous the the venue is. I couldn't be happier that I chose Green Grove Gardens. Cynthia was amazing as well! She was so fun, honest, and down to earth, she made the wedding planning process easy and I really was never stressed!! LOVED my wedding:)

The value is great. Ceremony and reception setup, hors d'oeuvres, catering. Green Grove is a beautiful venue that takes care of all your needs. They even help with any outside vendors dropping off stuff or setting up, as well as acting as a wedding coordinator so that you can relax and enjoy your big day. Staff was very personable, the grounds are very well kept and have numerous options for indoor and outdoor ceremonies. No regrets using this venue and we would recommend them to everyone.

GGG was the perfect place for my wedding and reception. Anyone can see that it's beautiful but what I loved most about this place was the quality of care I received. From day one I felt like my wedding was their number one priority. They walked me through everything and answered all of my questions. On the day of my wedding they took care of everything so all I had to do was focus on getting married. So many of my guest came up to me during and afterwards saying how beautiful the place was, how great the food was and the great time they were having. I am so greatful to Green Grove Gardens and especially Keith McCleaf for making our wedding day a perfect memory.

Green Grove Gardens has a gem in Cindy!! The venue and grounds were amazing!! Cindy did more than I could ever imagine when it came to planning and making sure everything went without a hitch!! We believe our wedding day was the best day in both of our lives and we owe that all to Cindy!! We had our rehearsal, wedding and reception at Green Grove Gardens and I would recommend that place to anyone that asks. We moved our wedding date up by over 5 months and Cindy was able to accommodate. WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!!!

So happy my fiancé and I chose this place for our after-wedding Party! Cindy was fantastic all the way around and the service was wonderful from start to finish! We could not have asked for a more unusual venue-----which is what it's all about----uniquely us! The live band loved playing there and our 155 guest had a blast-----the food was great too! Thank you Cindy and staff for a day Doug & I will always remember! And.....apparently our guest too.....they are still talking about it!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at Green Grove Gardens and we could not be more impressed! Keith was our event planner and he was wonderful! Everyone was great with helping out the day of the wedding. My husband and I were so impressed by Keith's professionalism the day of the wedding in particular. He continued to ask if there was anything we needed or that he could do for us. That really meant a lot and showed that he was 100% dedicated to my husband and I on our special day! We would definitely recommend this gorgeous venue for weddings!

Green Grove Gardens was an awesome venue to work with and of course has the most beautiful grounds! Cindy was extremely easy to work with and was able to offer helpful advice. The staff did a great job with set up, service, and food. They were quick to improvise when weather became a factor and provided us with anything we needed during the wedding and insured that the day flowed smoothly. I was overly impressed with the outcome and would highly recommend this venue to any bride!

I fell in love with Green Grove Gardens from the time I went to visit. It is beautiful inside and out. I got lucky that the flowers in the garden were still beautiful for my fall wedding. They do a great job with landscaping etc. Got lots of compliments all night from our guests. Cindy was AMAZING! She kept in touch the 2-3 weeks before up until the day of and all day. All of the employees were great to work with and the catering they offer is fantastic!!

Don't no what I would have done without Cindy and Keith the day of my wedding! They made sure everything went smooth and that everything was n place where it needed to be at the time it needed to be there! Kept asking if I needed anything and made everything go 10x smoother than what I was expecting! They went above and beyond from what I expected

Everything about this venue was perfect! The food was amazing! My guests keep raving about the bacon wrapped scallops! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and had the best backgrounds for all of our pictures. Everything about the day went so smoothly and right as expected. I couldn't have done it without the help of Cindy....she is wondeful! She helped make sure my day went as planned. She was right there to answer any questions, help with last minute problems, and she calmed my nerves! She was there to coordinate the precessional and make sure everyone was where they should be. She even brought in a last minute chuppa for us the day of....life saver!! Only good things can be said about this venue!! Thank you for making my wedding day amazing and a day to remember!!

Six months before our scheduled auction to benefit the American Cancer Society, our venue was in danger of closing its doors. We contacted Green Grove Gardens and were able to secure a date near our original date. Jon and Keith were very accomodating and the feedback we received from the patrons were very positive! Our wedding day was amazing, the grounds at Green Grove were beautiful, the food was great, and the service was flexible. They allowed us to use anything that they had and if they did not have it we could bring whatever we wanted to the venue.

Thank you to ALL the staff at Green Grove Gardens. Our wedding day was truly amazing. It was everything we expected and more. Thank you to Justin and company for the numerous amounts of emails, texts, and calls up until the wedding day to make it all happen. Amazing venue, great service, and great tasting food. We were blessed to have our ceremony outdoors, cocktail hour on the deck, and reception indoors. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone!

Green Grove Gardens an excellent venue and the perfect place to get married. Since our wedding was in April, we planned to have our ceremony and reception indoors, but we used the gardens for our photos, and the previews are spectacular. We had one small glitch with the menu, but everything else was perfect. Jon and Keith were great to work with, and answered all our questions no matter how big or small. We received many compliments about the food, especially the prime rib. We would definitely recommend Green Grove Gardens to anyone wanting to get married.

I booked Green Grove Gardens over a year prior to my event date. Since then, the event coordinator has changed to Jon, who is extremely organized. He was easy to work with, answered questions in a reasonable time frame, and met any requests I had (they all were within reason). He was present for my wedding and was ensuring everything go smoothly. I am so pleased that we selected Green Grove as our venue, and the guests loved it there too!

Wife: Green Grove Gardens is the absolute best place to have your wedding and reception if you are serious about not only your guests enjoying your wedding day but you and your spouse-to-be also. The event coordinators will work with you to make the reception hall absolutely perfect and best suited to you. They are very flexible and it is reasonably-priced. The food is excellent and all of our guests had the most wonderful time. You don't need to bother putting together a bridal portrait in advance or nailing down any random locations for photography either because there are numerous areas around the grounds to take all of your wedding photos. Also, if you are having trouble finding any vendors for other wedding-related things (photographer, DJ, etc.) they have great referrals. Also, they have 2 rooms for the bridal party to get ready in. This was highly convenient for my bridesmaids and myself because our stylists were able to just travel to the grounds to help us get ready. The groomsmen found it convenient as well.

We could not have been more pleased with how our daighter's wedding day turned out! Jon was a pleasure to work with. Everything was absolutely beautiful, the food was hot and delicious!! The caterers took care of everyone and were all very kind and helpful! In spite of hurricane Sandy, our daighter's wedding was perfect...we could not have asked for a better day! Green Grove Gardens was the perfect place to have our wedding reception. They were very willing to do whatever was needed. My brother is in the service and was not allowed to leave base to come to our wedding so ggg allowed us to use the password for their wifi so that my whole family and I could see and talk to my brother on our wedding day! Everything was magnificent. I would totally recommend ggg to a friend. And have a friend who is now having her reception at ggg because she loved the beauty and how well everyone worked to make it the perfect day!

I absolutely LOVED Green Grove Gardens and loved the entire staff I was able to work with there! The venue is absolutely beautiful & works out so well if what you are looking for is a spot to have both your ceremony and your reception! I worked with Sandy, Joann & Jon at Green Grove and they were all amazing and responsive any time I had any questions or needed any help with anything! Jon was with us the day of our wedding and assisted with not only all the set-up in the morning but was around the entire reception to make sure that everything ran smoothly! I couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, thank you guys!! :)

If you are looking for an beatiful venue to have your ceremony and reception or just your reception please check out green grove gardens. The grounds are beautiful with two waterfalls outback and a fountain out front. The venue is a converted barn turned into an event center. Inside it is absolutely stunning and you can transfrom it to fit your style. The service is great and they will provide catering.

Cathy is great - so easy to work with and laid back, but also very good at keeping everyone on their toes on the day of. We had one hiccup with the groom and groomsmen getting up to the ceremony location, but other than that, everything flowed smoothly! It was such a great day.

Overall this was a great venue to work for they were respectful and professional. The only complaint I had was when an employee that I had worked with left and no one mentioned it to me. It would be nice if this venue would allow you to use other catering other than requiring that you use theirs. The setting is gorgeous. They worked with anything I wanted. They allowed me to rent table centerpiece vases and mirrors which was a money saver.

Excellent Venue

This place was amazing for my daughters wedding. Beautiful grounds and staff especially Keith was wonderful to work with. They took care of everything and the wedding and reception went off without a snag. I would highly recommend this venue to any bride planning a wedding and with two more daughters growing up this venue will be on my list to checkout again. I cant say enough about how easy this process of planning was with them especially with all this Covid 19 happening. We had to reschedule her date and they were flexible and able to get us another date and make everything come together.

We absolutely loved Green Grove Gardens. From the very first time we stepped on the property, we knew that we had to have our wedding there. Our guests loved the venue as well. We are still getting compliments on the venue! It was perfect because we could do the ceremony, pictures, and reception on site! The food was delicious and the wait staff were all very friendly.
The only downfall was that we booked in the middle of a transition. We started working with Jon and had most of our beginning conversations with him. However about a month out from our wedding, we started working with Keith and then on the day of, Cindy was there. So we got to work with just about everyone! Although it was nice getting to interact with each of them, it was a little bit overwhelming the day of when we ended up working with someone we had never met before. However, everyone worked very hard and it still turned out to be a perfect day for us!

Justin at Green Grove Gardens was an absolute pleasure to work with!! He made everything so easy! He was easy to get ahold of and answered all questions promptly. On the day of the wedding he was there before we were and had all of the tables set up in the layout that I had provided him with. He worked non-stop from 8 am when we got there until 11 pm when we left. Whenever I needed something, he was right there to get it for me. I could not have asked for a better person/venue to work with during my wedding. Justin and the catering staff were extremely personable and attentive to all of my needs. It was a great experience all around!!!!

The staff was very helpful and the venue is beautiful - we were able to cut a lot of costs on decorations because of this. It was also very helpful to only work with one vendor for location, tables, chairs, food, dishes, etc.

Jon who is the even manger was a pleasure to work with & did really well dealing with a stressed out frazzled bride. Customer service is definitely a priority. & the prices for the catering are reasonable. The only complaint I have is that there is clutter above the stage that the owner won't remove other than that the place is gorgeous.

My husband and I were pleased with the overall experience at Green Grove Gardens. Our contact person was very nice and accommodating. The staff had to set up tables and chairs inside the building instead of outside due to bad weather, and did so efficiently. When it was time to serve food/cake the staff was on the ball. Our only complaint was that when we were trying to use the PA system, no staff member seemed to know how to help or have the time.

Our wedding was amazing! This venue is beautiful and well kept. I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding as far as the venue was concerned, we were able to get in at 8 and decorate as per our contract and other than the tables there wasn't much of any other decorating we had to do the venue is spectacular in its own right. I didn't like the buggy and trees up on the stage but on the day of i didn't even care about them so it was no big deal.

This was such a beautiful location! The gardens offer several perfect locations for the ceremony, pictures, and reception. This all surrounds a large, beautifully renovated barn, which is great for a lovely indoor ceremony or reception. Keith and Sandy are so helpful, especially on the day of the event! Catering, china, and table linens for the reception are included for the reception, and the food is delicious! It really is a wonderful place for a wedding.

The venue is absolutely beautiful! Especially in mid summer when our wedding was held. The grounds and the flowers really set the stage for our event. When we noticed a few spots that needed attention the week before the wedding the owner/gardner made sure everything was in tip top shape for the event.

Amazing that he and his wife with part-time assistants maintain, groom and improve the 40+ acres every year. Their attention to detail and creative use of plants really compliment the natural beauty of the setting. Their imaginations and site development including waterfalls even whisper as background sound to help set the stage for an outdoor ceremony.

Inside the former dairy barn is spacious and the décor simple elegance. The event manager was very flexible and shared suggestions openly. She is very busy and at communicates primarily via e-mail. Phone coverage can be limited, though most calls are forwarded to a person.

The food was GREAT! Few leftovers says it all and everyone was totally satisfied. They serve children at tables when there is buffet, and that really helps!

Though they did not provide the other vendors, they are extremely knowledgeable about what the region has to offer. This was critical as we planned the wedding from Ohio.

As one guest told us, "This has been a fairy tale wedding...simply elegant, beautiful and a total success."

Our wedding was beautiful and they took care of everything. However, before the wedding they took extremely long to respond to calls and messages. So much so that at times we were uncertain if we made the right choice and if the wedding would actually happen.

GGG changed management while we were planning our wedding so there were a few communication conflicts between what we had originally been told and what the new management told us later in the planning which was sometimes a little frustrating. However, the new management really did the best that they could in order to satisfy us and make our day beautiful, and it was. For those people who are looking to book GGG, I would recommend it especially since the transition is over. It is a beautiful venue and I have no regrets about having our fall wedding there.

The venue was wonderful, beautifully decorated. There were a few minor communication glitches, but many of those were last minute details that cropped up. Toward the end of the buffet line they were not restocking as much, giving guests the impression that food was running out.

Price is high for quality of food (many complaints received about food temperature - coffee not hot) A few complaints about the chicken being too salty, the beef being tough. The setting is beautiful - perfect. Management is very good, responsive. I think the wait staff could be a better dressed for the setting

The services offered by Green Grove were very nice. We appreciated all the help and effort. We did have a few issues though. It seemed like some of the responses took on average 2-3 days to hear back from Green Grove. There was either miss communication or we were told the wrong thing but some of the information we were given a year ago when we booked the venue, to now, has changed.

Jon was very nice and polite, and nice to work with. The issue we have is that the night before our wedding we were under the impression that everything was going to be set up so that we could decorate the tables. We are not sure if this was a miss-communication or what happened, but not even half of the tables and chair were set up. Luckily, we have great friends and family who helped us set up the furnishings so we could finish putting our center pieces and materials on the tables that night. Otherwise we would have had to do it the morning of the wedding. When we went to talk to Jon about it he was with other customers. We felt a bit uneased by this. We are trying to have everything perfect for our day, and Green Grove staff was doing other things for other customers. Besides this, Jon was very helpful with our paperwork, and planning in the months before.

Justin and Keith were AMAZING. They catered to us like we were royalty. They brought water and snacks out to us while taking pictures. Constantly helped us and asked if we needed anything. They were THE BEST staff we have ever had the pleasure of working with. These two gentleman helped make our day the best it could be. We want to make sure they receive as much credit as possible for their service and kindness.

I chose this venue for my wedding simply because it was absolutely beautiful, and my wedding day was phenomenal. However, I was disappointed with the lack of communication between staff. We dealt with 3 different people in coordinating our wedding and there were several things that were not as I had originally requested. Service during dinner was marginal, and our outside bartender began helping with dinner clean up.

Overall I was very pleased with the way our wedding day turned out and how beautiful the venue was, but disappointed with the staff.

the setting itself is very gorgeous and management is willing to talk to you but don't ask for anything to be changed. it is either their way or no way. which considering the price i would expect a little give. the food is so/so only because again for the price it certainly should be better then standard buffet food that i can get better from the savoy. the staff is gracious and friendly.
