Scott was fantastic! He kept the party fun and upbeat all night, handled requests with ease, and was incredibly flexible throughout the celebration. He did an awesome job reading the crowd and creating the perfect mix of 90s favorites, dance hits, and party music that kept everyone on the dance floor.
From the beginning, I felt completely at ease knowing Scott was organized, professional, and genuinely listened to what we wanted. He took our ideas and ran with them, which made the whole process stress-free and allowed us to simply enjoy the night. Our guests had a blast, and we couldn't have been happier with how everything turned out! Thank you Scott! -

Scott was fantastic to deal with!! Very friendly and professional. Listened to my daughter and her music choices. Scott didn’t music and sound for the ceremony and reception. She had selected several different entrance songs for the family and Scott was okay with whatever she wanted. He has been doing this for a long time and knows his stuff. He gave us suggestions and ideas that were so helpful. Would HIGHLY recommend for any party you want music at -

After seeing the song selection that my daughter and her fiancé chose for the reception, I reached out to Scott with my concerns. Scott did a great job “reading the room” and playing music that got everyone onto the dance floor while still appeasing the bride and groom. Despite the 102 degree temperatures, the dance floor was FULL!
He was also able to help me show a surprise video during the reception.
Scott is so easy to work with a very accommodating! Highly recommend!!!

I could say so many good things about Scott and his services! First and foremost, he is prompt and professional. When I submitted an inquiry, I immediately received a full breakdown of what his services included, as well as pricing. What ultimately sold me on Scott was how nice he sounded on the phone! He is so fun, charismatic, and down-to-earth. He made this entire process SO easy that I didn’t even need to have contact with him during my planning process. He provides a planning sheet to help you organize your music, and choose exactly what songs you want for special moments.
He is a superb host/announcer and it’s extremely clear he is experienced. He very easily conveyed many announcements/messages to my guests throughout the wedding (or when their attention was needed). He is so experienced that he can also clearly tell when a song needs to be changed, what songs are popular to most people, or when the bride/groom are tired of dancing with their parent to cut it short.
Aside from how great Scott himself is, of course his equipment garners no complaints. The music was loud and crisp, and the colored dancing lights really pulled the party together. It was bumping. I had a monogram projection over our dessert table, and it was such a nice touch—just a little extra detail!
I will 100% be recommending Scott to anyone in the future in need of a professional, HELPFUL, kind, trustworthy, and fun DJ. -

Great Scott Productions was a recommended DJ for our venue. Because of COVID, I didn't get to meet Scott in person before our wedding, but he was happy to set up a video call with me for our first call, which I really appreciated. My then fiancé mentioned during the call that he didn't really like how how DJs usually only play a short portion of each song, and I guess Scott was taking notes, because come wedding night, the songs were pretty much played all the way through. We also had VERY specific and separate playlists for guest arrival, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. We used Spotify playlists for the non-reception requests, and then his song portal for the dance portion reception requests. When I say I think he played every song on every playlists at the corresponding time, I mean it. In particular, I put a lot of time into planning the ceremony music, which required Scott to use 2 special songs that were not available mainstream (Samuel Kim Star Wars arrangements), and instructions to start certain songs at certain times within that song. The ceremony music was everything I hoped it would be; absolutely magical. We also had a special first dance song file and he had no issues with that either. We added an extra hour to our reception, and the dance floor was really packed ALL NIGHT LONG. Scott did a great job MC'ing as well. Overall, an excellent choice for couples that want someone who will honor their song requests!!! Thank you Scott! Our wedding was October 2021. -

Scott made the entire night a PARTY!!! We received many texts after our wedding saying that our wedding was one of the top five weddings they had ever been too because of the music!! SOO many people were on the dance floor. We are so appreciative and thankful to Scott for being amazing/easy to work with, playing all the best hits that night, hyping up the bridal party before our entrances and overall, a blast to have join our special day. Highly recommend DJ Scott, to be make your wedding day a PARTY!!! -

Great Scott Productions were very easy to work with & provided an excellent service. Scott is very personal able & work well with the guest. We added the up lighting as a second thought & glad we did, it gave the atmosphere a warm feeling. Once the music was determined Scott took care of everything else to set up, providing the music & microphones for the speeches & introductions to clean up. As mother of the bride I did not have to think about the music the entire evening. Which was great as that was one less thing I needed to worry about. Would highly recommend them as a DJ for any event. -

Scott was one of our favorite vendors! His playlist was perfect for our wedding and pretty much everyone was on the dance floor the entire night! We had a few special requests - we had a shortened first dance song and asked for amber uplighting and he was able to execute this no problem. My now husband is Persian, so a bunch of his friends wanted to play a few Persian songs that weren't on the library. Scott was able to pull them up anyway and it made for such a highlight of the night! Many of our guests mentioned afterwards that our dj was awesome. Weddings are so stressful but the party at the reception made it worth it thanks to Scott! Also, the week before the wedding, Scott gave us some great advice - that wedding guests are drawn to wherever the bride and groom are. So if the bride and groom are on the dance floor, the guests will be too, if they're outside, the guests will follow, etc. This was some of the best and most helpful advice we got, and seriously assuaged my fears that no one would dance! -

Brian with Great Scott did a fantastic job with our wedding! They have a website that allows you to pick and enter all the songs you want and a form to help plan the ceremony and reception. They were always fast to answer questions and very helpful. -

Can't say enough great things about Great Scott Productions! Pre-wedding planning was super easy - we just filled out our preferences on the portal and had a quick call with Scott to walk through any questions he or we had. He was also very responsive to a few last-minute small changes we had (I just texted him directly!). On the wedding day itself, Scott was extremely on top of making sure that everything ran smoothly and did a great job of emceeing and setting the tone for the night. We ended up needing about 15 extra minutes during dinner to go visit with the guest tables and he was more than happy to go with the flow and give us the few extra minutes we needed on the schedule while ensuring the rest of the night ran smoothly. His playlist was THE BEST hands down that we've had at other weddings we've been to. The dance floor was packed the entire night, and we heard from many guests (both younger folks as well as grandparents/family members) that they really enjoyed the music. Scott did a phenomenal job of reading the room and keeping the party going. -

Great Scott did so well for us on our wedding night. Our DJ made all the music and toasts seamless, and got some good audience laughs as well. We were especially impressed by his ability to find some of our strange music requests (Rainbow Connection as a father-daughter dance?), and not just that, but really seemed to love our quirks. He also made our first dance so incredibly smooth, which isn't bad, considering it consisted of introductions with one song, followed by an "on-set" wardrobe change by the bride, and then a full-up Viennese Waltz. You'd never know we hadn't practiced it 100 times, he made it so easy. A great DJ for your big day! -

We briefly met Scott at our venues open house for their couples and it was not necessary to do that. Scott is absolutely amazing!!! We sent him a sample playlist that my husband I put together and as well as a short list of do not plays and that was it. On the wedding day, you could tell Scott was an experienced and had his schedule down pat! He had my guests get the glass clinking out of the way one time which made me laugh because I really hate that tradition but I hadn’t told him that. His introduction to my father daughter dance was really touching as well. Before we had our entrance he helped get us into position and line up our bridal party and talked us through the entrance and it was seamless! We figured out quickly how important getting a great DJ would be for our wedding, knowing it could make or break the whole day! Our first meeting with Scott, we knew we were in good hands. He put us at ease and we didn't worry for a minute about the ceremony, cocktail hour, or reception. He made quick decisions for last-minute changes the day-of, and was a 5 star MC. We were in a time crunch to find a last minute DJ for our wedding due to misunderstandings with another DJ. With a month out we were getting anxious, and contacted Great Scott Productions in hopes of finding a replacement. Scott was able to fit us in! We are so grateful that our wedding dilemma was saved by this company! DJ Mark was absolutely amazing! He was easy to work with, a great communicator, and lots of fun! I stumbled onto Great Scott at a wedding expo by accident - and it was the best luck! We had a lot of Irish and Scottish touches in our wedding and the groom and groomsmen wore kilts. Brian, our DJ, is Scottish, and brought his kilt and his accent and knew exactly what I meant when I wanted Celtic influences. The website was easy to use leading up the wedding, and everything was smooth. Highly recommend! -

Great Scott Productions was exceptional from start to finish. My husband and I found them through a friends wedding and are so happy we did! Scott was on top of coordinating everything leading up to the wedding and was always available when we had questions. We had Pat as our DJ for our wedding day and he absolutely killed it! We're still getting compliments about how much fun everyone had almost a month after the wedding! His event planning website services were very helpful and not only were we able to choose our own first songs and dance songs, we were able to create lists of songs we had to have played and not played. He definitely got everyone out on the dance floor! He was also able to mix two different cultures of music for us, Persian and American music so that all guests could dance and have fun. Everyone had a great time and Scott was a big part of that! -

We booked him the day after our venue and we are so glad we did. He was flexible, friendly, and made everything go so smoothly. After attending other weddings where the DJ was lackluster, we knew how important it was to have the right person emcee. Scott was it. He accommodated our special requests and he moved with our timeline as things came up throughout the night. We could not recommend him more highly!
