Made our wedding day beautiful!

Inka and Great Expectations made our wedding day absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. The flowers were reasonably priced, everyone was responsive, and they went above and beyond to design and set up all of the flowers. I can't recommend them enough.

Awesome Florist

Thankful for Inka! After trying to work with an unresponsive florist for 2 months, Inka was kind enough to accommodate my daughter's wedding. She understood everything we envision and was able to bring it into fruition at an affordable cost. She is very easy to work with and is very responsive. Thank you Inka for making my daughter's day very special. I would definitely recommend for your wedding needs.

PSA: If you are looking for a wedding florist. Search no more. You’ve found her!

Inka was amazing. She was so responsive and helpful during the planning process. (Personally, I highly disliked the wedding planning process… but she made the floral aspect a breeze for me. Something I will be forever grateful for.) She was so easy to book, to pay for, to plan with… I really could go on and go.
Inka and I never even had an in-person meeting (due to inclement weather), and yet I felt extremely confident that she understood my vision for the day of. And not only did she understand my vision, she improved upon it! The bouquets and centerpieces plus additional floral décor completely exceeded my expectations.
On top of that, Inka was professional, punctual, responsive, friendly, and oh so talented!

Wow!! That's all I can say about Inka's flowers. I honestly had no idea what I was doing when it came to picking my flowers. All I sent Inka was a few pictures and to say that she came through is an understatement. The bouquets were absolutely stunning, but most impressive was the birch tree chuppah that she put together. It was the perfect chuppah for my husband and I to stand under when we said "I Do."

Inka did an absolutely amazing job with our wedding flowers! We instantly felt comfortable with her at our first meeting, where she took the time to understand what I was looking for, go over all our needs, and get an idea of the style we wanted. When her initial proposal was a bit out of our budget, she was more than happy to go back and make some adjustments to keep the style we wanted but have it fit our budget. The flowers for our wedding were stunning, and beyond anything I could have imagined! The ceremony flowers were unbelievable, the centerpieces were classy, and our bouquets and boutonnieres were gorgeous. Not only that, but she also went above and beyond what we had discussed, and added touches like flower petals on our place card table and dessert table. It's obvious that she takes pride in her work!!

I mistakenly ordered my flowers for the wrong date. Inka was still able to deliver the flowers in time for reception. We received many compliments on the flowers. I would highly recommend using Great Expectation Flowers for any event. Inka's customer service was great and certainly saved our event. The flowers were beautiful and very fresh.

Inka is wonderful! When she met with us, we had no idea what we wanted, not even colors, but we certainly knew what we didn’t want. After talking with us for just a few minutes she was able to capture exactly what we were looking for.

We talked with another florist before ultimately going with Great Expectations. There was no competition, Inka is so talented and she truly has an eye for the art.

Through the whole process she was very friendly, always offered great advise and she really transformed our wedding say into something beautiful.

Leading up to our wedding day, we had a few changes. Inka checked and double checked that everything was all set, which was greatly appreciated!

On our wedding day the flowers were beyond expectations. They turned out absolutely lovely!

The flowers for our wedding were beautiful - we couldn't have asked for anything more!! I cannot say enough good things about Inka's services! She was AMAZING, her flowers were AMAZING!! She took my vision and made it happen, beyond even what I had imagined. Seriously, the arrangements she produced were the most beautiful flower arrangements I have ever seen (granted, I am biased lol). But seriously, I was over-the-moon impressed with her artistic abilities. I will be recommending her to everyone I know who is engaged. She was flexible with meeting locations and times, she was professional, and she gave valuable insight to what we had planned for ceremony set up. She worked the day of to ensure every arrangement was set up exactly as it needed to be.
We ended up having to move our ceremony location from a outdoor garden site to under the tent due to rain at the last minute and she ensured all arrangements were then set up in the tent which honestly, MADE the atmosphere for the ceremony itself. I got a ton of compliments on the flowers and I have to say, they were one of my favorite parts of the whole event! (I mean aside from the whole marriage thing) :D
I cannot recommend her enough!

The venue for the wedding commented that they had such beautiful flowers before.

I had overestimated the number of bridesmaid bouquets, and when I corrected the mistake several weeks later, close to the event, Inka refunded me the cost of the bouquets.

Inka was a pleasure to work with, and created the most beautiful flowers for our daughter's wedding. During our meetings, she listened to the ideas that we had in mind for that day, and then brought them all to life in ways that we hadn't even dreamt about. Guests are still talking about how impressive the floral arrangements were. For the outdoor ceremony, she designed the wedding canopy, incorporating the quilt I made, creating the perfect setting for the couple's vows. Let me start by saying that I'm not much of a flower person - it was one of the things I wasn't super excited about planning for my wedding. I wasn't going to hire a florist at all, but my mom wanted me to rethink it and set up an appointment with Inka. And I'm so glad she did! In our first meeting, Inka totally "got" my style and made the whole flower selection process painless. (also she expertly navigated my mom's expectations with what I actually wanted!) I gave her general guidelines, and she came up with a beautiful look for the ceremony and reception. She handled all of the decoration for the reception, not just the flowers, which made things so easy for me. She was quick to respond on email and very pleasant to work with. Thanks Inka!

Inka did the flowers and table decor for my daughter's Bat Mitzvah in Annapolis last year, at the Annapolis Maritime museum...and I couldn't be happier!!! The whole ambiance was just magical. Inka perfectly captured the mood we wanted to convey...beachy but also soft and romantic...she had all her own props..from lanterns to shells to crystal vases; she made these AMAZING flower pom poms that were hung form the ceiling in addition to paper lanterns. the flowers were so fresh and classy and I got SO MANY compliments! She also made these lovely flower garlands and wreaths. She was great to work with and I really can't say enough about her sense of style and professionalism. I had a photo of one of the arrangements put on canvas ..they were THAT beautiful.

"Wow" is what both my husband and I said when we saw the flowers and decor from Inka... words cannot express the unbelievable and beautiful arrangements she created for our wedding. She did an amazing job and I'm so thankful we found her! My husband is not really into flowers, but when I asked him about his favorite parts of the day when looking back, one of first things he said was the way the tables and the ceremony site were decorated and the arrangements! I met with her one time in person and I could just tell she was truly an artist and very professional. I could tell she got the feel for what we were looking for (very natural and simple elegance) and I just let her run with it! She really takes into consideration your tastes, details like your dress, the setting, feel of the room, everything! She had some amazing ideas and all the bouquets were stunning! Our guests kept commenting on how gorgeous everything was and still do when we see them! So many said they were the most beautiful arrangements they had ever seen - simply amazing! From our initial meeting with Inka, we knew she had completely gotten our concept for the wedding and was the florist we wanted to work with. Inka is very professional, quick to respond to emails and easy to work with. She listened to our ideas to make sure she understood what we were looking for and gave her professional opinion as to what would work best.
With less than 5 months to plan our wedding for 250 guests we had a to do list a mile long. With Inka on our wedding “dream team” we knew it would be a fantastic day. Inka made herself available to come to see our church and reception venue weeks in advance to make sure she got the feel of the house. With her team, she took sketches, photos, measurements and worked with the rest of our vendors to ensure everything would come together properly and would be just as we wanted it. To say she far exceeded our expectations is an understatement. We were absolutely blown away by Inka’a amazing work. On wedding morning, Inka and her team arrived at our house with vans full of flowers and began to transform both the house and outdoor tent that we used for the reception. They did 9 bouquets, boutonnieres for the boys, 2 very large arrangements for the alter at the church, 23 centerpieces for the tent, 4 large outdoor pieces and several very large arrangements for the house all within plenty of time.
For the tent, Inka designed 3 different types of florals for the tables; a high arrangement, a mid arrangement where she used our personal silver pieces and a low in glass vases. They were all unique and perfect -- just what we were all looking for. The only word to describe the large floral arrangements both inside and outside of the house is “breathtaking”. Flowers had never been done before that fit the house so incredibly well and not only were they beautiful on their own, but they complemented the beauty of the home. Inka is truly an outstanding florist and a master of her trade.

Inka was great! We met 2 times, once when I first contacted her (about a year before my wedding) and again 2 weeks before my wedding. She requests pictures of everything! She wants to see your dress, makeup, hair, bridesmaid dresses, tuxes, etc to ensure she gets the correct feel & direction you are going for. I will admit that I think the flowers were the thing I was most worried about! She did do a mock up centerpiece for me (I had to pay for it, but got to take it home) and doing this made me feel so much more relieved! My vision had changed from when we had first met over a year ago and she quickly made the changes that I asked for and had my perfect exactly what I had invisioned centerpiece sitting in front of me! We were married 10/13 and when I walked into the reception to see it my mouth just dropped. It was gorgeous! Just unbelievable! My girls all loved their bouquets and mine was stunning as well! I had requested deep dark dark red roses, and was so scared that I would end up with bright red roses and when she delivered the flowers to us the day of the wedding I had my dark dark deep red roses! Inka is such a sweetheart and knows her flowers! My bridesmaids all had hydrangea bouquets and I really wanted the groomsmen to have hydrangea boutonnieres and Inka was honest with me telling me that hygrangea boutonnieres do not keep well and will look dead and wilted fast. She didn't want me to be disappointed in that and she showed me 2 different kinds of flowers that would go well with the hydrangea bouquets. She is all about making sure you have the most beautiful flowers the day of your wedding and is very detailed when it comes to describing the look you are going for! I am so happy that we found her and went with her!

I am a very picky bride and Inka's flower creations for my wedding day went above and beyond what I even imagined I wanted. Going off of only a few photographs I brought to our consultation of my bridesmaids dress, wedding dress, and accent colors she captured EXACTLY what I wanted in our flower bouquets. I would also recommend the flower balls... Inka hung these from my ceremony chairs to decorate the aisle... they were absolutely stunning! The table arrangements and flower presentations on our buffets were just as amazing. I simply could not have been happier with how everything turned out! Inka was also always professional with replying to emails and addressing any changes I wanted to make after our initial consultation.

Inka's arrangements were absolutely stunning!

She captured the feeling we wanted of sophistication while still keeping an element of playfulness in all of the bouquets, chair pomanders and arrangements.

I loved how the bouquets "glistened with water drops" all night long.

Wow, what beautiful colors for the roses, hydrangea and orchid stems... and then to add the "birds of paradise," the bright pink Alpinia purpurata and deep orange lilies in the buffet arrangements, absolutely amazing.

We got so many compliments.

Inka, was as wonderful to work with as her beautiful creations.
We could not have asked for anything more.

Pink peonies was all I had in mind for my June wedding. Inka was introduced to me by wedding planner and I can't thank her enough. Not only is Inka a delight to work with, but she has such a vision that I don't believe can be matched. She exceeded my expectations and all of my guests talked about the flowers for months after. Peonies, roses and working with us to add more personal touches really made us appreciate everything Inka brought to the table. Inka was amazing!! I had a very simple, yet specific vision for our wedding and she went beyond anything I could have asked for. Several other florists I contacted told me they would not do all-hydrangea wedding boquets because they would not last, but Inka said no problem-- and despite the June heat they were stunning! She also transformed our indoor ceremony space to look like an outdoor garden.

I could not be happier with her work, and I felt absolutely comfortable taking all of her recommendations and suggestions. When I saw my boquet I literally jumped up and down shrieking. There are less pricey options out there but if flowers matter to you, trust me-- she's the best in the Annapolis area! Some people think it's crazy to spend a lot of money on flowers that only last one day, but if you saw our photographs with these gorgeous boquets it would change your mind! I used to work for a florist-- don't underestimate the power of flowers. :)

Working with Inka was smooth sailing. She was able to translate and carry out the ideas my daughter and I had into a picture perfect wedding day. The flowers were fresh and natural, working beautiful with the outdoor setting and the chuppah she designed for the deck where the ceremony took place. The simple yet elegant design was in keeping with the ambiance of the lovely outdoor venue. The table decorations for the reception room worked well with the sunlight filled room ,and made it feel like you were in a garden setting. Inka did a fabulous job with my wedding flowers. I had a very specific vision of what I wanted, and she was able to capture that and more. I truly had the most beautiful bridal bouquet I've ever seen. Everything from the bouquets to the corsages to the centerpieces was perfect, and I really could not have asked for more. Inka is also a lovely person to work with. I am so happy we hired her and hope that many more brides choose to work with Inka in the future. She is simply the best!

Inka is phenomenal; from what I gather she only does special events and only takes a limited number of clients at a time.

Inka was our floral designer for our wedding in May; we met her at her home in Annapolis to review what we wanted. She is a soft-spoken professional who knows her business and takes the time to ask a lot of questions about your vision for the flowers on your wedding day.

We were married at a friend's house and Inka met us at the site to take a look at the space and discuss what we might need. She offered a lot of professional advice when she realized we didn't have a wedding planner; advice on things outside of the flowers. She didn't have to spend so much time on this, but she is a very kind-hearted person who genuinely cared about us and our wedding day.

I collected by own milk glass vases & compotes in the years preceding the wedding and had a very definite idea of what I wanted and didn't want. I gave her info on the color palette I wanted, the types of flowers I liked and that I wanted all of my arrangements to be different from one another. She listened carefully, offered wonderful advice and arrived early on the day-of to set up. She even decorated the tables with props that we supplied. There was a miscommunication regarding whether or not this was included in the price we were quoted (very likely my fault - my mind was shot that close to the wedding) but she adjusted the price to include the set up of the props at no charge anyway.

- There were tons of arrangements, all different, but all in a cohesive theme
- The tablescaping she did for us was lovely

All of the arrangements were lush and gorgeous - they were top notch and looked incredible.

Inka was great about staying in touch with us. Even though she was making trips to Germany to see family, she returned our emails and was great about answering our questions and making sure we were comfortable with the price we were paying. She helped us find ways to stay within our comfort zone while still getting exactly what we wanted. I did not come away feeling like we were compromising or being deprived when we needed to revise the original plan to stay within budget. She was an absolute master of her trade and I very highly recommend her work.

My experience with Inka was amazing! She is a true professional and wonderful person to work with while planning our wedding. She has such a creative eye for making elegant arrangements. When I met Inka, she had the perfect vision for our small and intimate wedding at Quiet Waters Park and Ruth's Chris restaurant. She delivered above and beyond my expectations. We had big bloom flowers such as hydrangea, peonies, antique garden roses and such. She put together a very lush, rich and springy look for our wedding. The flowers truly made our day even better. She was able to accomodate our budget and arrange the most gorgeous flowers I could have ever imagined! Displeased and disappointed by another local florist, it was a true blessing to find Inka of Great Expectations. I knew from the beginning that Inka was an artist and professional. She works out of her darling home in Annapolis and truly lives for her creations. She grasped my vision from the start and worked with me to make that vision come to life. I dont think I could recreate the gasp that came from my mom and I when the bridal bouquets were delivered to my suite. They were staggering. So lush and bright and beautiful. I have never seen such beautiful blossoms. The cost for her services was incredibly reasonable and she even worked with a few vases that we provided that were left over from my bridal shower. She also waited to collect her rented vases and arrangements so that we could use them the morning after at the brunch.

My wedding would not have been complete with any other florist. People are still talking about the flowers. I am so thankful to have found Inka.

Inka is such a wonderful person to work with. She is not your everyday wedding vendor. She becomes more like a friend by the time everything is said and done. Her work is amazing. I did not have an image in mind for my flowers, I just told Inka that we were having a peacock themed wedding. When I received my personal flowers and the bridesmaids flowers I was blown away, and when I finally saw the reception ballroom I was in tears. The room looked amazing and the colors Inka used were perfect. I highly recommend her to everyone getting married. You will not be disappointed!! She is truly amazing. All of my guests are still commenting on the flowers!

Inka was great and our flowers turned out better than I expected! She has a great sense of design and creates beautiful arrangements. Plus, she's very sweet! She dealt with me being rather indecisive and trying to change everything at the last minute and I should have just trusted her all along because I loved all of our flowers. The bouquets were gorgeous and I got so many compliments on them. The centerpieces were very fresh and fit our tables and venue perfectly. Our ceremony flowers look fantastic in all the photos. Our flowers by Great Expectations by Inka was absolutely gorgeous! They literally took my breath away when I saw them! Inka went above and beyond and I got so many comments from guests on how beautiful everything looked. I literally started crying when I walked out and saw all the flowers!

When we booked her, I gave her a general idea on colors and flowers that I liked and she totally ran with it and created bouquets and centerpieces that were so unique, but exactly perfect! She was able to use lace from my mom's wedding dress to tie around my bouquet, as well as make a very unique Boutonni�re (using a fish hook) for the groom - which she even tied with fishing twine to make it even better than the picture I had showed her! About 2 weeks before the wedding, we met to finalize everything and Inka had SO many great last minute ideas to add to the overall decor. She ended up making 7 wreaths which were placed around the ceremony and cocktail hour and they were beautiful! Her prices were very reasonable as well and she definitely worked within our budget. I was so happy with everything and I absolutely loved working with Inka! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!

If there was one vendor that I had 100% trust and faith in: It was Inka. She had worked with one of my friends for her wedding and I knew 2 years prior to my engagement that I had to use her. She dealt with multiple multiple changes up to a week before the wedding and there was not ONE time that I was confident that she was in complete control. Our ceremony and reception was BREATHTAKING! Every single one of our guests said they felt like they were on a movie set (not to mention had to fight about who got to take the centerpieces home).

Inka was lovely and a joy to work with. She is so passionate and creative and has the gift of listening 100% to your vision. She was one of my favorite parts of our wedding planning process and the best part is: She delivered beyond what I trusted she could!

You will not receive better quality for the price and individuality that Great Expectations offers.

Inka is absolutely fantastic! She really has a passion for her work and it shows in everything she does. I worked as a florist for many years and it was tough to put my own wedding flowers in someone else's hands but Inka immediately put me at ease. She came highly recommended from a few friends in the wedding business who had seen her work. I wanted a vintage/unique feel for my wedding- different arrangements on all tables in interesting containers. Inka exceeded my expectations! She really listened to my ideas but took her own creative liberties and the results were amazing! All of the guests were raving about the flowers and how interesting all of the arrangements were. The personals were equally as unique, well crafted and beautiful. Inka's prices are also very fair for the phenomenal work she does. Working with Inka was wonderfuly, particularly since I did not know exactly what I wanted - I only had colors in mind. She came up with a great vision and put it all together. My flowers were AMAZING - many guests commented they had never seen such beautiful flowers at a wedding. I cried when I saw them I was so thrilled, even my husband said he loved him - not a "flower guy" to say the least. We were married in August, a very humid and hot day. The flowers (including hydrangea which wilt easily) lasted the whole day, no wiliting, they looked perfect from start to finish, including the ceremony flowers which were placed outside. I could not have been more happy with this choice and the volume of flowers I received for the money that was spent could not be beat by other vendors. I highly recommend.

Great Expectations SURPASSED my expectations! We lived in MD but ultimately decided to have the wedding PA. They were able to accommodate our every need, deliver and setup the flowers out of state without a hitch.

Inka was an absolute pleasure to work with. Designing the flowers and decor for our church ceremony was the highlight of my wedding planning. Inka is so very talented and creative. When the doors opened and I started down the isle, I was stunned. Never did I imagine the church and my wedding would be so beautifully decorated. She took my initial vision and worked with me to create a spectacular ensemble of warmth and romance... all within our budget.

To this day (almost 7 years later), our friends and family still remember the flowers and decor... even new friends, perusing our wedding album, remark on the flowers. It made our wedding day that much more special.

Inka was fantastic to work with. I had no idea what I wanted and she was really flexible and had tons of great suggestions. I was still really indecisive after several months, so I asked Inka what the typical arrangements were like in Germany (her native land), which she said were really artsy and modern. I said, "Perfect! Roll with that and my favorite flowers are orchids and lilies". Aside from telling her a color suggestion, that was the only direction I gave her. I had no idea what my flowers would look like until the wedding day. The flowers looking amazing! She read my mind- very funky, but really elegant. Inka was so pleasant despite me being a nightmare indecisive bride.

Inka was wonderful! I had no idea what kinds of flowers I wanted but Inka knew exactly what would work. She presented me with a few ideas after talking to me about my style and the wedding style. I'm a little hands off so I just told her what ideas I liked and I essentially told her to do her thing. And she did not disappoint! Not only was my bouquet beautiful, but she managed to tie in the bridesmaids dresses to my dress, which was a feat and a half since the bridesmaids dresses didn't exactly match my dress.
She really is amazing with flowers! She is also a lovely person which makes her really easy to work with. She works out of her home which dramatically reduces the price of the flowers because she doesn't have the overhead costs of leasing and running a shop. I did a little comparison shopping and she seemed to come in way under what other places were quoting me.
I have recommended her to many of my friends and co-workers. You just cannot go wrong with Great Expectations Flowers by Inka!!! Not to be cheesy, but she should rename her company, Exceeds Your Expectations Flowers by Inka!

We had a backyard, outdoor wedding in July 2017. I really wanted to play up the simplicity of the venue with dramatic flower creations & vibrant colors. Inka & Great Expectations FAR exceeded anything my husband & I could've imagined and the centerpieces were breathtaking. We had three different variations of centerpieces - low, high, & glass cylinders with floating flowers. The flowers that Inka provided for our wedding were GEORGEOUS!!!! Inka BY FAR exceeded our expectations and she is such a joy to work with! There were a few times that I emailed and did not hear back right away which made me nervous close to the wedding, however I need not have worried. Overall we were thrilled!

The flowers for our rehearsal dinner and on our wedding day were beyond gorgeous. Inka took the ideas I gave her and asked me to trust her creativity. While I normally don't do that because I want to be in control, I'm glad I did - she provided us with some unexpected coloring that was true to the fall season in Annapolis and matched our wedding style perfectly. My favorite part of course was my wedding bouquet - it was what I had imagined, only better!

The floral arrangements from Great Expectation Flowers by Inka were the highlight of our wedding. We went to Inka with no vision, and from just one picture of a bouquet I liked she perfectly crafted flowers for our whole wedding. The ceremony flowers were absolutely perfect, we decided on two arrangements to frame our arch that could be then moved into the reception. This was Inka’s suggestion and something I would not have thought about otherwise.

My mom and grandmothers cannot stop talking about their corsages that Inka beautifully crafted and placed on pearl bracelets. Inka even worked with us in terms of centerpieces. We DIYed the centerpieces, but we wanted them to have a flower element to them. Inka took our idea and completed our design with beautiful flower arrangements. What I liked most about Inka was she was able to put together high-end arrangements and bouquets for a reasonable price.

Inka was great to work with! From our very first meeting I felt that she understood my vision and I trusted her. She was very responsive and really took the time to work with me (I sent her many photos and ideas, links to Pinterest, etc). I even added a few things the weeks leading up to the wedding and she was very flexible! The flowers were gorgeous and our chuppah was beautiful. On the day of the wedding someone said to me, "I don't know how much you spent on the flowers, but they are worth every penny." What a compliment!

As soon as we sat down with Inka for our first meeting, she immediately figured out our style and had great ideas for the flowers. She's very flexible and accomodating because she was able to use flowers that I wanted that other florists said they couldn't get because of the season. My bouquet was amazing and all the floral arrangements were beautiful. We received a ton of compliments on how great the flowers were.

I was absolutely stunned with the beautiful arrangements Inka created for my wedding! I had a simple theme of cream and yellow for my spring wedding. Inka used many interesting flowers (not the usual roses, baby's breath, etc.) to make the decor truly elegant. It was simple, tasteful, and amazing...right down to the small accents (freesia/greens placed in a champagne flute) on small cocktail tables. Inka worked with me on my limited budget, although you would have never known seeing as how great the flowers were! I would highly recommend Inka as a very professional, flexible, and talented florist for any bride.

We were so pleased with our choice of Great Expectation Flowers for our wedding flowers. Inka is a creative, gifted florist. She clearly understood the ambiance I wanted for my wedding and was able to deliver flowers which perfectly complemented every aspect of our day. I had a military morning wedding over the July 4th weekend and was looking for fun, festive, yet sophisticated flowers. The flowers Inka put together were stunning and the deliverable was exactly what I wanted. I was very happy with the end result!!

Inka is very talented! I showed her a couple pictures that I liked for inspiration and the flowers came together perfectly, in fact they were more beautiful than I ever expected. My only complaint is that she doesn't use online bill pay like some of my other vendors did. It's just easier than mailing In a check. As far as the flowers go and Inka herself, I have nothing but amazing things to say. She's great and she really knows what she's doing. :)

Great Expecations provided ceremony and reception flowers for my daughter's wedding and they were fresh and gorgeous. Inka was great to work with, flexible with ideas and suggested some cost-cutting measures. I just did not want to see the flowers wilt, but of course that is inevitable.

Our flowers were absolutely beautiful!! We were so happy with them!! Inka was very nice. My only negative was that when asked if I could have a picture or mockup of what everything would look like I was sent pictures from another wedding for similar colors, but not what mine would look like, just the similar color scheme. It was also hard ro get ahold of Inka by email at times, slow responsiveness. Flowers were absolutely though!!!

The flowers were absolutely amazing! Better than I could have ever dreamed. Inka did a fantastic job listening to what I wanted and making it happen. She went over the top from what I was expecting and pulled it all off without a flaw. We might have had a little difficulty with our communication as far as figuring out my budget and the reality of what I needed. Inka was very patient with me and a very kind person to work with. I would definitely choose Inka over other flower vendors in the area because the finished product will be incredible. Reliable and a good value.

We chose Inka because she came highly recommended by our wedding venue and we had seen her floral designs at another wedding.

Inka was easy to work with . . . she immeadiately understood my vision and she had oodles of photographs to show us her designs and other ideas.

On the day of our wedding, all the flowers arrived on-time, if not earlier than expected. Inka handled everything so that we could concentrate on getting married. She is a genuinely nice person who is professional and extraordinarily talented. We recommend her without reservation!

I came to hire Inka for my wedding after my original florist was in an accident and ended up in shock trauma two weeks before the date. I called many florists and Inka was very kind and scheduled an appointment to meet with me right away. My wedding was designed around gerbera daisies in deep reds, fiery oranges and golden yellows. My husband and I met with Inka and explained what we were looking for, which was fall bouquets in the colors mentioned and using gerberas, dahlias and other similar flowers along with some greens to round it out. The flowers for the men were also supposed to be gerbera daisies (red for the groom, orange for the best man and yellow for the groomsmen) and we ordered rose bouquets in silver holders for the moms and grandmother as well as gerbera daisies for some tables and the bathrooms. We even gave her the contract from our original florist so she could see exactly what we were looking for.

When the flowers arrived at the venue, I was shocked! I actually told the delivery man that he had brought the wrong flowers for the event. There were no gerberas in my girls bouquets and only one hidden in mine. My bouquet was much larger than I had asked for (I am a small girl and the bouquet was way too big for me) and was in pinks and purples. My girls bouquets looked like easter bouquets. It was terrible. My husband did indeed get a gerbera daisy, but it was in some muted color that looked almost beige. I don't even remember what the other groomsmen's flowers looked like. I was so unhappy with the flowers, I tried not to look at them throughout the event. The mothers' flowers were in the silver vases as ordered, but my grandmother's flowers were made into a pin corsage, which was never discussed. The single gerberas ordered were delivered as requested, but there were no orange ones. I was on the verge of telling the delivery man to just take the flowers with him, but this was about an hour before the wedding and there wasn't much I could do about it. I had to leave the room and have my matron-of-honor deal with it, because I was about to burst into tears.

After the wedding I emailed Inka about how disappointed I was that what was ordered was not at all what was delivered. It was quite a long time (over a month) before I received any reply from her and the reply I did receive was that she didn't think anything was wrong with the flowers she sent. She said that I had not made it clear to her that I was looking for a bouquet with gerbera daisies and that the colors of the flowers were very fall like. I have pictures of the flowers; Easter and spring are the only words that come to mind when I look at them. She also said that my grandmother had come to the delivery man and told him that she wanted a pin corsage instead of a bouquet. Not only is this unlikely since A) my grandmother would never do something like that and B) she didn't want to pin anything to her clothing and C) SHE DOESN'T SPEAK ENGLISH, but it is also amazing that he had all the materials to turn the bouquet into a pin at the last inute like that. Somehow I just don't think so. Also, I find it odd that she would say that I never mentioned how important gerbera daisies were to me since we gave her the original contract AND we ordered gerberas as the flowers for the tables.

She did offer to refund me for the cost of the bouquets, since I was so disappointed. I decided to accept the offer because thinking about it just made me too upset and I wanted the whole thing to be over with. We were married in September of 2007. It is now May of 2010 and I have YET to receive the refund, or a response to emails sent to her.

The only good thing I can say about her services was that she was that when we initially met with her, she was understanding about the situation with losing my original florist and the lack of time to shop around, so she was willing to match the price of my original florist, but I would have preferred to pay more and gotten what I wanted rather than been so unhappy with the result. I am a very sentimental person and keep everything. I left my bouquet at the venue (quite on purpose).
