Frank did an awesome job with the music at my wedding ceremony and reception on 1/14/12 at the Liriodendron. He kept the reception going and so many people that don't normally dance (like my dad and 89 year old great aunt) were out on the dance floor having a great time. He played the songs we selected and added some that fit our style as well. Thanks for a great time, Frank!

Where do I begin and why can I not give more than 5 stars? I have been in the wedding industry for around a decade, from catering, to banquet managing, to my current position as a wedding coordinator, and I plan nearly 100 weddings a year. Even though I work with countless Dj's and "Dj's" a year, Frank Marsden is the BEST I have EVER worked with. His voice is perfect (having been in radio helps.) We gave Frank a handful of the music we love and he took it from there. All of our guests danced all night long (even our grandparents!) From cocktail hour, to introductions, to the party, Frank was on the ball! I chose Frank so I could enjoy my own wedding rather than trying to work at my own wedding, and I enjoyed every beat of the music.

I have known many couples over the years that splurged on photography or decor and skimmed on the music! But the music and Dj is the MOST IMPORTANT part of your wedding, (next to the food!) People remember if the Dj was good or bad, and a bad Dj can ruin a wedding. Pictures last a life time, but you can not take good pictures of the Dj is a creeper.

Frank's easy going attitude makes for a perfect atmosphere! All of our guests are still talking about how great the music was and we had an interesting blend of Cajuns and Italians!

Frank was an amazing DJ at our wedding on 10/29/11. My husband and I can not say enough wonderful things about the music played and his presence. We have heard from multiple guests that it was some of the best wedding music they have ever heard.

He was able to provide an extremely high quality and professional service in the middle of a random October snow storm, at an outdoor wedding, with electrical issues and it was such a magical evening.

Frank is an amazing DJ and I'm so glad my groom and I selected him to DJ our wedding reception. He also provided a second sound system for the ceremony so everyone could hear us take our vows at our outdoor venue. His helpful software on his website made it easy to search for the right song for the right moment. He was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive. The mix of music was the perfect blend of something old and something new. He spoke just enough to let people know what was going on but was not intrusive in any way. All of my guests had a great time getting up and dancing, thanks to Frank.

Frank was our DJ/MC for our outdoor wedding of approx 300 people and was PERFECT and great to work with. We met one time prior to our wedding date and he got a feel for what we were going for and made recommendations from there. On our wedding day he set up (2) sounds systems so everyone could here our ceremony as well as dance the night away during the reception- sound was great, music selection was perfect and everyone was so complimentary of how smooth everything went and that has a lot to do with.. Frank is great at what he does, he is a professional and knows how to keep a party a great time and definitely paid attention to what we as the bride and groom wanted our big day to be.

Frank is fantastic! He kept us on schedule, without rushing us. He kept the music up-beat, fun and made sure everyone enjoyed themselves. We loved him so much, he will be doing my sisters wedding next August. There is nothing bad to say about him. He is excellent!!

Stop looking, you've found the one and only. Frank Marsden of Friendly Entertainment couldn't have been a better pick for our event, an end-of-summer wedding teaming with both outdoor & indoor venues. Mr. Marsden took the process into his professionalism to provide wholesomely decent service throughout the evening and night.

There were neither small nor large things to worry about. Everything, and I do mean everything, was worked out ahead of time, from names on the entrance list, to father-daughter song, from processional/recessional entertainment, etc. Frank had the plan smoothed out months before the event began, with a check to see if any changes had developed; all on a very easy-to-use website that could be accessed at any time. This of course was after our face-to-face meeting with Mr. Marsden where we were able to note his calm demeanor and genuine nature.

Thus, his planning before the wedding speaks even more of his flexibility; due to the constant flux as the night progressed, we had anything but a coordinated wedding from the entertainment point-of-view. Mr. Marsden had to deal with technical faults up to three minutes before the processional; he had to deal with the mother of the groom deciding that she would use a different surname than given only 30 seconds before she was introduced; he had to deal with entire segments being forced from the wedding due to sickness of the wedding party!. And all of this he did surely, without a moment's hesitation or even a glimmer of worry from the bride or groom.

And for those looking for a good deal, you will find no better. For a professional of the industry, complete with digital system and delivery (as well as appointments before the event), the payment still surprises me. Although I can't speak of the cost of our wedding planner (I thank my wife for that treat), Mr. Marsden was by far and large the best value of any component of our wedding. We were able to splurge in floral arrangements due to his decent pricing!

Frank was awesome! He really kept the crowd dancing. I think everyone at our wedding got up and danced - from the older people to the younger people, he really played a great mix of music (and all of the songs we asked for including some hard to find stuff). He kept the center of attention on the party and kept the scheduling going (making sure everyone had time to get ready for the cake cutting, garter toss ect.). People actually came up to us and told us how great the DJ was. He did all this in the middle of hurricane Irene (ps- people also told us they almost forgot about the storm they were haveing so much fun). I would highly recommend Frank to anyone.

Friendly Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our ceremony and reception and I would recommend him highly. Frank was a pleasure to work with from the first meeting to the end of the reception.
