Francesca’s is a gem!

I was looking for a specific Galia Lahav dress that the team helped me order and reassured me during the whole process, especially thankful for Francesca’s help in adding extra beading to my dream dress, every time we went me, my mom, grandma and sisters had a great time with Francesca and Kara. They have a great selection of other designers as well, would highly recommend!

The Best Dress Shop!

I could not say more amazing things about Francescas! From the second I walked into the store, I felt like part of the family! I ended up losing weight and moving out of state, and Francesca’s helped every step of the way and reshaped my dress like nothing ever changed. Exceeded my expectations and found my dream dress!

Francesca (the owner) and Marla (the seamstress) were amazing to work with! This was my seventh bridal boutique I visited and was still unsure about what style I liked. I knew I wanted a clean, classy, plain dress but had not yet found a style I loved. I tried on an Anne Barge dress and immediately fell in love. After the purchase, I wanted to add a topper onto the dress and Francesca and Marla worked to make my dream come true. I LOVED my dress and couldn't have imagined choosing it anywhere else. I 10/10 recommend Francescas Bridal and could not have imagined getting my dream dress anywhere else.

Everything I Could Have Dreamed Of

Francesca’s Bridal had the BEST selection of dresses when I was looking for the perfect boho meets modern gown for my wedding. They took the time to listen to the styles I knew I liked and the ones I knew I didn’t like. They never tried to pressure me into a dress that I wasn’t overly thrilled about which made the choice so easy when I found the one! The moment I put my
dress on in the shop I knew it was the perfect one for me. They were so helpful throughout the entire process which really made me feel good about choosing them as the place to buy my gown. I love that they’re a family-owned and run business it just gave it such a more welcoming feeling when visiting the shop. I am so happy that I found my dream dress at Francesca’s!

beautiful gowns & experience!

Francesca's is such a beautiful bridal boutique with so many options to choose from and all at reasonable prices! The staff is wonderful and made shopping such a great experience even during Covid! I decided to buy my veil from them and I cannot express how happy I was with it. They held it & kept it safe while I was moving and unpacking, they had it pressed and ready for my big day!

A dream come true

I’m from Baltimore but was living in Pittsburgh & planning my wedding there when I went dress shopping. I’m indecisive so I thought a fun day of getting my feet wet at home would be fun. I went to one store before Francesca’s and I left feeling discouraged. When I walked in francesca’s I felt a breath of fresh air, this store was different. First, you’re treated like the only bride when Francesca or Kara is working with you. Second, their selection of gowns are truly beyond my wildest dreams. I felt gorgeous in every single one and could have played dress up all day. But Francesca knew exactly what I wanted and put me in the Rivini gown of my dreams. I couldn’t leave without buying that dress. Being 5 hours away during alterations was hard but Kara was so accommodating to when I was able to come back and planned things around my schedule. When coronavirus halted my wedding plans, Kara knew exactly what to do so my dress was perfect when my day finally arrived. I can’t say enough about how wonderful it was to work with these ladies. They truly make dreams come true.

Beautiful, Knowledgeable Boutique

Kara from Francesca's Bridal was incredibly helpful during a stressful time! I had a full house of people and a service dog come watch me try on dresses and they were super accommodating. Kara knows her stuff and I'm sad we won't really work together again!

They were open and receptive to my dress concerns, they gave me proactive updates to fittings and timelines, and overall a great partner. Marla, the seamstress, works literal magic on dresses and was the reason we were able to do two dress options for my wedding.

Wonderful Salon

Francesca's Bridal Salon is a real joy to work with. Francesca was so patient during the dress selection process, happily pulling what seemed like a hundred dresses, and expertly helping us to narrow it down. She made sure that the dress was properly suited, and when asked, she provided her opinions without being overbearing. Kara was extremely helpful and patient during the fitting process and expertly advised about the most appropriate shoes to best go with the dress. I would highly recommend Francesca’s!

A very, very happy bride!

I made an appointment with Francesca's Bridal to view the selection of the Wilderly Bride trunk show last weekend.

I want to start off by saying I had no idea what I style I wanted and had zero expectations that they'd have something I'd fall in love with. I was completely open to "leaving it to the professionals".

My MOH and I were greeted and checked in moments after we arrived. Kara Moro brought us champagne while we waited and let us know that she would be with us momentarily. While waiting, we browsed the gowns in the trunk show and I picked out a few to try on.

It was my turn to begin trying on dresses. I disliked one or two elements of every gown I picked out and was growing frustrated. Yes-you read that right; from the girl who had zero expectations coming into this, I was growing frustrated that I wouldn't be able to find a gown.

Kara brought me a few more gowns and asked me to tell me what I liked and disliked about them. Not only did Kara voluntarily fan me with a wedding magazine to cool me off while I was trying on dresses, she patiently worked with me and critically listened to what I liked and disliked about every gown I tried on. The last gown she hung up is a very, very special gown. You are probably not going to believe me when I tell you this but Kara found the dress I fell in love with!

I had a 5-star experience from the moment I walked into Francesca's until the moment I left. Kara and the rest of Francesca's are phenomenal and I will recommend this salon time and time again. Thank you all for making my first bridal appointment such a wonderful experience!

Amazing Dresses

The best experience! My sister and I both found our beautiful dresses at Francesca's Bridal. Kara brought out several dresses which were amazing, but when I tried on my dress, everyone said that's the one. Kara knew from the moment I put it on that it was made for me, and she was right. So grateful for these ladies!

Francesca's was the first bridal salon that I visited when I was looking for a dress. The environment is quiet and you get all of the attention you need. Also, there are only two rooms, so it is never busy and does not feel overwhelming, just the opposite. You will have a stylist totally focused on you and they do not put any pressure on you to decide on the spot. I had an appointment right afterwards at another bigger salon and I hated the experience. There were like 10 other brides and their friends/families and it was chaotic. However, I found the dress I loved there...but, because I loved Francesca's so much, I went back and bought the dress from them! Francesca's has a seamstress in house and so you go there for all of your fittings. I highly recommend working with these ladies, they are lovely and incredibly helpful! Much love to Francesca's for my perfect wedding dress experience and going the extra mile for me!

Great Experience

Kara immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. I didn't have a specific vision when I began dress shopping. She was able to pick out several options in the store as well as online, one of which we ordered/shipped to the store and I ultimately went with that dress. She really helped me figure out exactly what style I was looking for and was flattering on me. Throughout the entire process Kara was patient, gave honest feedback and always responded quickly to any questions I had. I will absolutely recommend.

My experience with Francesca's Bridal was incredible! Their salon was the first and only I visited. I did not need to look anywhere else! I had an idea of the type of dress I wanted, but did not have a picture because I never found one. I described my vision to Francesca and the first gown she brought me was the one. I was amazed how she did it first try!! I tried on a few other beautiful gowns just to be sure. I loved them all - the selection was great. Francesca is kind and professional. She made me feel so beautiful, and she was fun to work with. The entire staff was the same way. They were proactive in scheduling. When I had fittings, they had my dress already out for me in the fitting area. They were expecting me and ready. I recommend you head to Francesca's Bridal for the most beautiful gown for your day! You deserve the best!!!

I had a wonderful experience at Francesca's Bridal. It was very conveniently located in a shopping mall with plenty of parking and nearby shops so you could easily grab a meal before/after. The shop itself is intimate. I brought my grandmother and mother. Because it is smaller, I would recommend not bringing more than 4 people, as you might not have enough seating/space. Besides, you really don't want more than that for dress shopping anyway!

I told Bettyann the styles I liked, showed her my Pinterest board, and told her my budget range. She pulled several dresses for me to try, all in that range. What I loved the most was the set-up. There's a raised "stage" with curtains. She seated my mom and grandmother and then helped me into my dresses behind the curtains. She adjusted every one until I could get a good idea of what I would look like if the dress were fitted. She prepared the train, then, finally, pulled the curtains back for a big reveal. I felt so glamorous! And I think my mom and grandmother loved that.

I appreciated she never pushed one dress over the other (perhaps saying nicer things about the more expensive dress). She simply put on each one and then asked how I felt about them. She could tell my reactions to different ones. Based on that, she might grab 1 or 2 others to try. She also never brought something above my budget range, unless I OKed it. For example, after trying on several dresses, and seeing what I liked, she said, "I have one in mind that I think you might like, but it's XX over your budget. I wouldn't want you to fall in love with it if that won't work." In the end, I did not purchase my dress there, but I loved the style of the dresses! My friend is going to be bridal dress shopping soon and I am definitely taking her here!

I had a fantastic experience with Francesca’s! I had visited a few salons with a specific dress vision in mind, and after striking out at all other salons, as well as with the handful of dresses I tried at Francesca’s, Kara asked me to “humor” her by trying a dress on that was the complete opposite of what I had my heart set on—opposite fabric, opposite cut, opposite style. And it ended up being *the* dress! Kara has such an obvious eye for recognizing what flatters various body types, and she made me feel at ease enough that I was ok stepping outside of my comfort zone. After purchasing the dress, the rest of the process was a breeze. Kara stayed in touch regarding the status of our order, and the salon was very accommodating in terms of scheduling fittings for times that worked best for me. There wasn’t a moment during the entire process that I felt stress due to my dress, and I know that’s a feeling many brides go through. Oh, and Francesca’s seamstress, Gana, is an alterations superwoman! We are so pleased, all around, with our experience with Francesca’s.

I visited Francesca's after 3-4 other dress stores- I was overwhelmed and hesitant to try on any more dresses. I had the honor of working with Francesca herself - and am so grateful for her experience, patience, and confidence. I am not a shopper, and rarely get too dressed up or treat myself to fancy things. Francesca made me feel totally comfortable and helped me get in the spirit and celebrate! I tried on a total of only 5 dresses and ended up back in the second dress Francesca picked out! I did not have the immediate "this is the dress" moment...and I don't think I'm the kind of person that would. Francesca must have seen my wheels turning and jumped right in to help me think it through.
I just got back from my first fitting since ordering the dress and the team there was again fantastic! So warm, kind, welcoming and genuinely interested in me! I can’t wait for my next fitting and to see the team again!

UPDATE: We had the best wedding day and feeling so beautiful in my dress definitely helped. It fit perfectly, and looked so beautiful in our garden setting. I LOVE my dress and am sad I don't get more occasions to wear it :)

Kara made my experience so special and I was so happy with my appointment at Francesca’s. I came in with an idea of what I wanted and she showed me a dress that was very similar to what I wanted. I had such a wonderful dress shopping experience here. I drove up from northern VA, and couldn't be happier that I did. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to find my wedding dress in this beautiful bridal boutique. Francesca and Tori were so accommodating in my struggle to find the perfect dress. They assist you throughout the whole dress process, giving you advice on what under garments you should wear, to what dress material would be most practical for where you are getting married. They were super helpful and super sweet; not to mention very hands-on in the process, which I find extremely important considering how stressful dress shopping can tend to be. If you are looking for the best bridal salon in Baltimore to get the wedding dress of your dreams, Francesca's is the place.
My daughter and I went to 3 salons and she tried on many beautiful gowns, but it was our luck that Francesca's was last on our list that day! Francesca herself helped us out!
She careful asks what style you are interested in, she listens and she starts from there! As you try on each dress she asks what you think and allows your answers to help determine which dress and what style you will try on next!
That day there was a trunk show by designer Paula Varsalona who is based in NYC! When my daughter tried on a dress by that designer and decided that she would say YES to the dress, Paula came over to assist! An amazing belt and crystal adorned veil designed by Paula completed the look!
After the champagne toast the next steps are skillfully handed by Francesca's team!
When the dress comes in you have your first look and try it on, you then make a fitting appointment and the rest of Francesca's team her secret weapon, Maria the seamstress,steps in to make sure everything is perfect for your big day! The hem, the bustle and other adjustments as needed are taken care of by Maria!
I was thrilled to hear the compliments on my daughter's wedding dress from our guests, even the guys!
So thanks to Francesca's team everything was perfect! They even explain how to transport your gown carefully and safely for the wedding day ceremony!

If you're looking for an upscale, yet incredibly welcoming boutique with wonderfully unique, yet timelessly elegant wedding dresses, and attentive consultants, then Francesca's Bridal is definitely the way to go. I went for my first fitting tonight and I honestly felt like royalty. Potentially the loveliest aspect of Francesca's is every consultants' attention to detail and to each bride.
The times I've visited (I also got my senior prom dress here), I've never had to wait and I've always felt like I am the only bride in the room. Even if you're from out of town, Francesca's Bridal is absolutely worth the trip.

I cannot say enough about Francesca's Bridal. I never even thought of going there until my Wedding Planner suggested it. It isn't in an area where I'd expect to find high-end designer gowns. I'm so glad I went.

We arrived for our appointment 2 days after Christmas. I had to take advantage of all of my Bridesmaids being in town for the holidays. Francesca herself personally helped me. I am in the fashion industry. I've been a buyer and a sales rep for high end swimwear and surf apparel for over 13 years so I really have high expectations on service and selection. Francesca BLEW ME AWAY. Clearly she is an expert and literally after suggesting 3 gowns and analyzing my body language, taste level and style, she had me in a $7,000 Badgley Mischka gown that was MY GOWN - only I didn't know it yet. We paraded out to my party where my sister immediately cried and when they flipped the lights off (We're having a black tie evening wedding at Ravens Stadium) the whole salon went "OOOOHHH!!!!"

But I had to be sure. My gals and I trekked up to NYC to the "typical" places. What a joke - and what junk. At least we had awesome food and did some sight seeing. We got back into Baltimore at 11:00pm on a Friday night and I was back at Francesca's at 10am the next morning. She put me back in my Badgley Mischka gown, got me in the shoes and the veil and I had "my moment". I cried - my bridal party cried and we just knew it was the one. We were all offered champagne in crystal flutes and I HAD to get my photo with my fairy godmother, Francesca! I wanted to write this review online so sophisticated and discerning brides know where to go. There is nothing like the service, sophistication, professionalism and industry knowledge that is offered at Francesca's anywhere else - not even in NYC!

I purchased my gown from Francesca's, and from my first appointment to my dress pick-up date, the ladies at Francesca's were consistently helpful and friendly. The salon is beautiful and their inventory is varied and gorgeous. My budget was $2,500, and I had plenty of dresses to choose from. The consultants listened to my ideas and selected options for me that matched my description, but they also encouraged me to try others that I might not have otherwise considered. It was one of these that I selected - the third dress I tried on. Everyone at Francesca's made me feel relaxed and comfortable each time I visited. Also, I was extremely impressed with the alterations done on my lace dress. They were flawless, and the bustle was beautiful and easy to manipulate. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Francesca's!

Amazing customer service! Loved Francesca and her staff. She showed us dresses that were only in our price range. Within a handful of dresses my daughter found her beautiful gown. She was done so quickly I had time to look for my gown on the same day. I too, found my dress within a couple I tried on. It was the easiest thing we did during the whole wedding planning process! Francesca's was the first and last bridal boutique I visited! I told Francesca exactly what I was looking for and ended up picking the third dress I put on! The experience was nothing less than perfect! The client service was remarkable, the dress was magnificent and it was all so easy. I ended up bringing back my bridal party, grandmother and mother who all ended up with dresses from there!

I went to Francesca's because a couple of my friends bought their wedding gowns there and all of them were beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The have a good selection of dresses by good designers. The first dress I tried on was the one that I ended up buying. I will recommend any future brides to get their dress here.

Francescas has always been my go-to place for attire for any formal event. I first discovered the boutique in 2003, in highschool where I purchased my prom gown; Now I returned to find the most important dress of all..my wedding dress! This shop has the most beautiful dresses and such a variety to choose from. The staff are outstanding. I worked with Jerry in particular and I couldnt say enough nice things about her. She made me feel so important and special, I almost felt like family. Having such a great experience has definitely made my upcoming wedding more special and I would reccommend Francesca's to everyone!

Hands down the best personal service we encountered. Jerry gave us her undiveded time. She has such a pleasant manor and was very informed about all aspects of the wedding. I bought my wedding gown and veil from Francesca's and I am in love! Francesca's was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses after my engagement and Brittany was my consultant. She was wonderful, sweet, and very helpful with the whole process since I was new to eveyrthing. Brittany made me feel comfortable while trying on dresses and offered great suggestions when I seemed to be torn between my decisions. The whole process of trying on gowns with the women in my family was everything it was supposed to be because of Francesca's and Brittany. Brittany also assisted me on another occasion with picking out my veil and some jewelry, and I couldn't be happier! I would recommend them to any bride. I also love the new renovations they have done to their dressing rooms!!

I have been going to Franscesca's since high school for all my prom dresses, so of course I had to get my bridal gown from there. In Baltimore, there is no other place to go. They took so much time to help me find my dream gown and I could not be more thankful. They were able to work with me being in Florida between fittings and appointments. I heard about Francesca's Bridal from a friend of mine that had purchased her wedding gown there, so as I began my search I added the boutique to my list. From the moment I stepped in the door on my first visit, I knew I would end up buying my gown (and little did I know, my entire bridal wardrobe) from Francesca's. I worked with Francesca and she made the entire experience so memorable for me -- not only because she was knowledgeable about the gowns they had, but because she was so energetic and fun, she listened to me, catered to my budget, and was able to bring me dresses that I would not have thought to try on. When I knew I had found 'the dress' her face lit up just as much as mine did (and it ended up being one I didn't think I would try on!). I knew she was genuinely excited that I found my perfect dress at her shop and with her help. For my daughter's wedding, aside from personal assistance throughout the whole process of buying a wedding dress, maid of honor's dress and mother of the bride's dress, Francesca's Bridal was there for us.
My daughter was able to add personal touches to her dress, and that was very special. Mother and maid of honor were out of state, however, Francesca's was able to order and ship our dresses for preview and alterations. Most importantly, on our special day, we felt beautiful! The attire was one of the most important components for that special day and having the personable services of Francesca and her staff certainly made a difference.

Got my MOG dress at Francesca's and was thrilled with the service, seletion and helpfulness. I didn't go until October for a mid December wedding and was not sure they could help. Not only was Francesca helpful but I got a fabulous dress. Just back from the wedding and the amount of compliments I got were too numerous to count.
She was very patient with me, the alterations were great and done in a very timely fashion.

I would reccomend this shop to anyone who asked and as a matter of fact , did so this weekend at the wedding.

Every girl dreams of her big day...who she will marry, where she will get married, who will be in the wedding AND what she will look like! I had always envisioned myself walking down the aisle in a big poofy dress. When I started my journey to finding the perfect gown, I figured I would probably get just that - a big poofy princess gown. When I walked into Francesca's Bridal, Francesca welcomed my family and me with open arms. She listened to what I thought I would want and then she pulled a few dresses. We went into the dressing room and the first dress I put on was the typical poofy princess gown I told her about. After that, she asked me if I would try some of her ideas. She showed me options I would have never thought of on my own.
I am a very, very particular person and after trying on several gowns, Francesca and her team suggested that we design a gown just for me! I was completely shocked, but very happy with the suggestion. I had fallen in love with the skirt of a dress designed by Paula Varsalona and Francesca immediately suggested she design my gown. We pinned dresses and belts together to create an idea of the dress I dreamed of and Paula sketched the design. Together, we edited and tweaked the sketch until it was just right! The dress was made just for me and just for my body! I was able to see the gown through the stages of creation from sketch to the final product. It was such an incredible experience.
Francesca and her entire team made me feel like I was the ONLY bride they were taking care of when I was in the salon. I have several friends that are “Francesca’s Brides” and they felt exactly the same way. Everyone who works at the salon helped me through all of my appointments and fittings to make sure I felt like the dress was perfect. From scheduling extra time to work on my dress to just answering a simple question over the phone, the women at Francesca’s Bridal were always helpful.

I wouldn't change a thing about my experience at Francesca's Bridal! Right after I got engaged, I fell in love with a dress I saw online, and nothing I came across remotely lived up to it. I had been to five other bridal boutique's in the area and none had the dress I was looking for. I found several "okay" dresses, but not one that I could see myself wearing down the aisle. After hearing the lack of enthusiasm in my voice as I discussed the dresses I had found, my coworkers insisted that I make an appointment at Francesca's Bridal. One of my coworkers had gotten her wedding gown there, and raved about the great selection, atmosphere, and service. The boutique is lovely, and very much reminded me of a princess' dressing room, with soft hues, beautiful gowns lining the walls, and jeweled combs, veils, belts, earrings, etc. arranged prettily in open antique dressers. Francesca asked me about my personal style, type and location of the wedding, and the general fit of dress I was looking for. She insisted that I not show her any pictures that I had compiled, and said that she would take a look at them only if I didn't like any of the four gowns she was going to pick out for me to try on. I undressed, and the very first gown she had me step into was that first gown that I had fallen in love with online so many weeks before. She zipped me up, and the dress was perfect in every way. I have no idea how she was able to talk to me for just a few minutes and pick out the dress of my dreams out of the hundreds they have there. This woman is clearly damn near magical! Also... I have recently referred a close friend to Francesca's. She purchased her wedding gown there, and all five of us bridesmaids just purchased our bridesmaid dresses this week. They are also great to work with as part of the bridal party! They are so helpful, and have a great selection.

I had a short engagement, only 4 months to get everything done. Francesca's was the first and the last bridal shop that I entered! To my surprise and delight, I found my dress on my first visit. Both my mother and I found our gowns at Francesca's. I wasn't exactly sure of what I wanted but the staff, including Francesca were able to help me find the dress that was beyond my dreams. I felt amazing and looked amazing in my gown. My mother looked regal and stunning, as she should being the Mother of the Bride. The staff were friendly and genuinely interested in my wedding. Maria, the seamstress was able to shorten my dress without taking away from the beauty of the lace detailing at the bottom of my dress. Although it was one of the furthest drives for vendors, it was completely worth it. I would recommend Francesca's Bridal for any bride that wants to be treated with respect and individuality!

I entered Francesca's Bridal having no idea what I wanted my wedding dress to look like, but I definitely knew what I did not want! Francesca listened carefully to my "don't wants" and brought out several dresses for me to try. One of the dresses I tried on was lovely except for the front cape. Francesca had a vision and she helped transform that cape into a gorgeous lace collar, which resulted in the perfect wedding dress. The personal service I received from Francesca and Kara was above and beyond my expectations. They spent a great deal of time working with me, and made sure that I was more than satisfied when I took the dress home with me. I could not have been more thrilled with my beautiful wedding dress and felt absolutely wonderful on my wedding day! My mother also purchased her dress at Francesca's Bridal and received the same personal service from Francesca and her consultants. To say that my mother is a "tough customer" is an understatement. However, Francesca took a great deal of time with my mother and showed her a variety of options. Francesca's calming nature reassured my mother that she was making the right decision. I was so pleased with the personal and professional experience I had at Francesca's Bridal. I was even a little sad when I picked up my dress because I knew I wouldn't be seeing Francesca, Kara, Whitney, and the other consultants on a regular basis!
My wedding day was perfect and it all started with my dress which was beautiful, comfortable enough to dance in, and made me feel great. I highly recommend Francesca's Bridal, where you know that you will receive not only personal service but also a professional consultation and a marvelous finished product. No detail was too small for Francesca's Bridal. Before I got engaged, I could not even imagine what my wedding dress would look like. But now, I can't imagine having worn anything other than the gorgeous gown perfected for me by Francesca's Bridal!

We had a great experience with Francesca's Bridal. We worked specifically with Kara and I couldn't say nicer things about her!

I visited several bridal shops before finding my dress at Francesca's and at many places they rushed us through our appointment and were not helpful in helping me find "the one" - they were more focused on getting to the next sale.

At Francesca's, they helped pull dresses that I wanted, but also made recommendations. Kara actually pulled the dress I ended up choosing!

We used them for our bridesmaids dresses - which was great because they offer a bridesmaids month with discounts!

The week of our wedding was hurricane Sandy, and Francesca's opened on their day off to ensure all of our groomsmens were fitted.

I've had several friends choose Francesca's because of their service and they all have loved their experience! If you want to feel like a princess on your wedding day, but also treated like a personal friend - this is the place to go!

We walked in on a whim to see if they had any appointments available. Fracesca helped us right away. By my surprise I found my dress that day. The staff became more like friends towards the end of the process. My bridesmaids (all 8 of them) and tims groomsmen (all 7) all got their attire from Francesca's. They were so patient with all the girls along the way. I let the girls pick thier own dresses and Brittany and Kara did a fantastic job helping everyone! On the wedding day I noticed 2 tiny little spots on the back of the dress. On Brittany's day off which was her birthday she came all the way to Havre De Grace to clean it off to make sure it was perfect for me! Who does that? I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I went into Francesca's. I really hadn't planned to spend as much as I did on my dress but it was worth every penny. My Pronovias Bristol dress was absolutely gorgeous and the seamstress who did the bustle did such as amazing job! Every time I went in there they were unbelievably attentive and professional. And they really listened to what I wanted and gave some great advice on what looked best on me. My grandmother, who isn't usually very forthcoming with compliments, told me the dress looked like it was hand made just for my body. Seriously, ladies, give Francesca's a look.

We did not have an appointment when we walked into Francesca's one rainy Saturday after going to another shop looking for a dress. Although they do request that you make an appointment, they were not busy at the time and were able to see us. The first dress that my daughter tried on was beautiful. There was a row of beading that she wished was not where it was. They were able to order the dress without that!! We were so happy about that. The whole process was really nice. We felt special and everything was done in a timely fashion.

Francesca's Bridal was the perfect choice to find my wedding gown. They fit into my budget and I found exactly what I was looking for! Francesca, her daughter, and Betty Ann were super helpful. When I showed them the pictures I brought, they were able to gauge my taste immediately. We picked out several dresses and they let me try on as many as I wanted. They didn't rush me or make me feel like I had to make any immediate decisions that day (even though I did!). They were extremely patient and understanding. When I went back for my 3 fittings closer to our wedding date, they made me feel very comfortable and offered me champagne! We had a bit of a mishap with the belt that was supposed to be sewn into the dress-Barcelona never mailed the belt and it was February. Not to worry! Francesca was committed to getting it to me before the wedding-She worked all through the week and weekend (even with the time differences) to ensure it was overnighted. Everything worked out wonderfully-I couldn't have asked for a better boutique to have purchased my dress in!

I really had the BEST experience at Francesca's. I am having a destination wedding and already bought my ceremony/reception dress at Betsy Robinson's-where I felt so pushed into buying that dress that I came so close to walking out just soley based on the fact that they wouldn't let me breathe! I bought a Kenneth Pool dress there during a sample sale for a great price, but I could have done without my saleswoman following my fmil and I around the salon saying I would never find a dress like it so don't even bother looking! Then when I had the dress on and my fmil and I were discussing whether or not to buy it, the saleswoman started pulling the other sales people out of their lunch break just to look at me and tell me how great I looked in the dress. It screamed desperation- "I need your commission!!" I needed a dress to wear for pictures the day after the wedding for our trash the dress session, and the Kenneth Pool silk taffeta just wouldn't work. I decided to try Francesca's after reading the good reviews on here, and I am so glad that I did. The salon is really out of the way for me to drive to, but for the service its well worth it!! From the moment I talked to my sales woman Gerri on the phone, I felt like I was a family member- not just a customer. The salon itself is gorgeous- and not too small or too big. They have a great selection of bridesmaids and motb dresses too. Gerri was very attentive to what I was looking for and encouraged me to pull anything from the racks that I liked. She made an effort to get to know me more personally, and we had a great conversation, making the whole experience a lot of fun. Gerri told me that no one at the salon works off of commission, so she wanted me to know that when she gives an opinion its only out of pure honesty of what she thinks looks flattering or not. She has great taste by the way!! Francesca made a point of being a part of every bride's experience while I was there, offering up opinions or even giving backround stories of the dresses and designers. I thought it was interesting to find out that Francesca is a seamstress, so her insight on how the dresses should fit is very helpful. Now when I go back for my fittings, accessories, etc the staff greets me with hugs and that wonderful "family" feel. I love the dress that I bought from Francescas so much (and is the one in the picture featured here!) that I will wear it when I get legally married here in the states before I leave for the destination wedding, not just for the TTD! I love my gown too much just to trash it :)

Franchesca is so sweet and she really tries to find something in your style, I thought it was going to be so hard to find a dress but she found the one after 4 dresses. Her daughters are also really great to work with. She does not carry a lot of one certain dress so you know you will not see a lot of other brides in the same dress.

My daughter bought her wedding dress, beaded belt, and hair clip at Francesca's. The service from the staff was wonderful. They also did a alteration on my older daughter's bridesmaid dress even though we didn't buy the dress from them! They always have a wide range and up to date selection of bridal, bridesmaid, and other formal gowns for all ages and sizes. I would highly recommend Francesca's.

The owner, Francesca, assisted my mother and I in finding the best wedding dress and mother of the bride dress. She stayed within our budget and gave suggestions on shoes, hair pieces and earrings. I came back to a trunk show at the salon and bought hair pieces and earrings. The alterations were excellent and the staff made sure I was completely satisfied before I left. I highly recommend this Bridal Salon!

Brittany was the best, sooo sweet! And Kara too! They ordered my dream dress (seen at another store) and complemented it with 2 amazing veils. They were very professional and handled everything very quickly and well.
I also had all my alterations done with them, and the seamstress was great- listened to everything I wanted and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Everything was perfect.

Everyone at Francesca's is amazing especially Fran, Kara and Peggy! I felt like a princess everytime I went in the store. I had a vision of what I wanted my dress to look like and they helped me find the perfect one. When I put on my dress, I knew it was the ONE!! The tears started flowing and I really felt like a bride. My father came in and took one look at me and cried! It was a moment I will never forget. I also got my veil, earrings and necklace from there which had crystals and pearls that matched my dress perfectly. I really felt like a princess on my wedding day! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Francesca's Bridal. I went to several different boutiques prior to visiting Francesca's. The other boutiques just did not make it a special experience - not like the ladies at Francesca's. From the moment I stepped in the door, I was made a priority. My dress, my wedding - it was all about me. Francesca assisted me with my first fitting. She listened to everything I liked and disliked in terms of gowns. She truly wanted to be sure I found the perfect dress. By the third dress, I had found "the one'!

All of the ladies were extremely kind and helpful when I went back for my fittings. It was so wonderful to walk into the boutique and be greeted with such warmth.

I HIGHLY recommend Francesca's Bridal for your wedding dress! Amazing!!

I found the dress for me at Francesca's Bridal Salon in Baltimore, MD. Francesca's was the first bridal salon that I visited, and it set a standard that I didn't find among others. Francesca, the owner, gave personalized service that really made me feel special, not just like one bride among many, and the store itself has an ambiance and selection that exude quality. My wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses are back, beautiful, and fit well based on Francesca's experienced measurements, requiring minimal alterations. Throughout, Francesca and the staff have been responsive and flexible, even accommodating to my busy schedule. Keep in mind, because designer dresses are carried here, you may fall in love with a dress above your original budget; however, you do pay for unrivaled quality.

For most of the time, I worked with Francesca, but all of the staff was very friendly. I found a great dress and the alterations were perfect. Only needed alterations one time and it was ready to go. The dress was hung perfectly to keep its shape during travel. A great job!

Great experience

I had a great experience with Francesca's! I ended up working with them for 2 years (COVID bride) and I am so glad I bought my dress from them! They were so helpful during the trying on/selecting process, letting me come back 2 times before I finally made up my mind. I live in California, and they worked with me and stayed open late or opened early to let me come in for fittings when I was in town for wedding planning events. During all the ups and downs of postponing my wedding, I could always count on the team at Francesca's. I would recommend every bride come here to shop for wedding dresses!

Great experience, but wish I did a final fitting! Overall, my experience with Francesca's was AMAZING. I really enjoyed working with the family-run shop including Francesca, Cara, and Marianne. They always made me feel welcome, celebrated the big moments with champagne, and allowed me to bring a reasonable amount of guests to each fitting. I found a GREAT sample sale dress, which was reasonably priced (below the store's $1800 dress starting price) and was able to come back for multiple styling and fitting appointments. I had my last fitting about 5 days before the wedding, and at which time the seamstress sewed in cups. I wish I had come back for a final fitting though because I wasn't quite comfortable with how the cups looked on the wedding day. Otherwise, my experience was perfect!

Francesca's Bridal is a one-stop shop for all of your bridal needs. From making my initial appointment to finding my dream dress to the last fitting, I was in awe of the care taken in making sure my dress was perfect for my special day. Francesca and her staff will make you feel like such a beautiful bride and not to mention that their dresses are soooo beautiful. I ended up purchasing a one-of-a-kind Rivini and veil and couldn't have been happier with the fit. The seamstress is crazy talented! Francesca's was such a wonderful experience. I first called to check they were in my price range and they sent me to the Nottingham location where I would find the most in my budget. The first time I arrived I was just trying on dresses and had no intention of purchasing that day. They were still very kind and attentive. I was treated the same way I was when I returned with my Mom ready to make a purchase.
The whole boutique is designed to make you feel special and alone. There are two pedastals, each in their own corner facing away from each other. And the chairs for your party to sit in are so comfortable. I love their set up so much more than the stores that have all the pedestals next to each other. The staff was helpful, and encouraging. If I didn't like a dress, they didn't make me stay in it. It was very much set to my own pace. Unfortunately I feel in love with a dress at another store that Francesca's didn't carry, but they were just happy I found a dress! I would have loved to support this local business. They are so kind, helpful, and professional. They will definitely help you find the dress that makes you feel special and perfect for your wedding day.

Francesca's was amazing from start to finish! My original appointment to search for dresses was such a breathe of fresh air compared to other shops I went to. I called to make an appointment because I found out they sold a specific designer that I wanted and a very specific dress. They did not have the dress in stock to try on, but Brittany quickly called around and had it shipped from a trunk show in NY to arrive in time for my appointment so I could try it on. My heart was pretty set on that dress, but I still tried on many others and Brittany was fantastic at helping with the many opinions I was receiving and made sure I made the decision based on what made me happy and not the others in my party. Needless to say after going to another shop the very next day I called back and ordered my dream dress. They were responsive with when the dress was scheduled for delivery and set me up with Ella, to do any alterations I had. Ella was also a pleasure to work with and made the alterations rather quickly considering my big day was fast approaching. Our wedding was this past weekend and it was truly magical. I had so many compliments on the dress and could not have been happier with their service. Brittany was also crucial in helping get the finishing touches perfect with the most perfect belt to tie the whole look together. I highly recommend them and Brittany, Kara and Ella especially were fantastic!

Francesca's was the 4th bridal salon I visited and I arrived there with the belief that I already had my dress picked out at another salon. Boy was I wrong! I was helped by Francesca herself who you can tell, absolutely LOVES her job. She was the only consultant that actually pulled dresses for me based on what I told her I was looking for (all the consultants at the other salons had me pick my own dresses from racks and racks of plastic). The first dress she brought to me was THE ONE. I had been searching for a dress with an illusion neck and back, but after three previous salons, I had resigned myself to the fact that I was not going to find what I was looking for. The dress was out of my budget, but after some finagling, Francesca was able to get me a deal so I could afford my dream dress. I would highly recommend this salon for people looking for superior service and high quality dresses.

After visiting 6 shops and having little luck in finding my dress, Francesca and her staff made me and my bridesmaids and mother feel so special and they really listened to me. She understood my concerns to stay within my budget at the same time understanding my style tastes. Her complete honesty on what was available in my budget helped me to focus my attention on what was most important to me when it came to finding the perfect dress. The staff was exceptional in assisting my bridesmaids once we decided to purchase their gowns there as well. They offered options with ordering and shipping since all 5 of my bridesmaids are from out of town. The quality of the dresses and service were far superior to a few of my experiences the previous outings. I did choose a dress from their trunk sale and our bridesmaid dresses are not in yet, but so far I feel the responsiveness and flexibility ratings are warranted based on timeliness of response to set an appointment, flexibility to work with out of town attendants and responsiveness to my needs the day of the appointment.

I went to a few larger bridal dress providers where I felt like I was one in a dozen before I came to Francesca's. At Francesca's I received complete individual attention (over the many appointments!) and so did my picky mom and bridesmaids. Starting with the first appointment, you feel like you are part of the family at this family owned and run shop. Not only is the service fantastic, but also the collection (dresses, shoes, accessories, etc). Francesca selects all of the pieces individually and she has fantastic taste with a twist of European chic and charm. The collection is fantastic! The tailoring is also great.. I definitely recommend checking out this place if you are on the lookout for a wedding dress or any formal wear.

Francesca's was the 5th store I visited during my 1.5 month wedding dress search. My appointment was with Kara and she was very friendly and helpful. She gave me her undivided attention throughout my entire appointment. She wasn't pushy and didn't get frustrated by my indecisiveness. By the end of the appointment, she had found me a gorgeous dress which was in the running. Out of 5 stores, I only found contenders in 2 of them and I believe this was a direct result of the consultants that worked with me. Even though I wound up purchasing a different dress at another store, I still enjoyed my experience at Francesca's and would highly recommend Kara. You can't beat the personalized experience.

Going to Francesca's was a wonderful experience that I think all brides desire. The day that I had my appointment, I was practically the only person there. It was quiet and I didn't feel rushed at all. Francesa has a keen eye for what will look good on you. I picked a dress that I had never even considered because I didn't like it on the model. The alterations were flawless! My dress fit like a glove and I didn't want to take it off. If you have a very small budget, this may not be the place for you as their alterations and many of their dresses are a little pricey. However, I believe you get what you pay for and what I got was a phenomenal dress!

I had a few friends refer me to Francesca's bridal and I had a great experience there. They helped me customize my Badgley Mischka dress and make sure that it was customized to my liking!
During a few of my fittings, I would have preferred that one of the sales associates be there with the seamstress as well since they obviously know wedding dresses better than I do - that's the only reason I took off part of a star. When Francesca or Kara are there, you have nothing to worry about!

This is a quaint boutique with a beautiful selection of gowns. The top of my budget was $1200 and the sales rep at the boutique e-mailed me to inform me that their dresses start at approx. $1800 but she would be willing to pull some sale dresses off the rack for me to try. I almost cancelled the appt. but in the end decided to go and low and behold I found my dress within my budget! My dress is gorgeous and a much nicer quality than if I would have gone with some of the contenders at other boutiques I looked at. It was comfortable and fit perfectly. I found my veil and earrings there too. I was able to schedule a pick- up just 2 days before the wedding and everything was steamed out and ready to go.
The only thing I didn't like was the bustle on the dress wasn't secure enough. I needed several bustle points which were just tiny loops on the train that slid over a tiny button on the back of the dress. Throughout the reception the bustle kept coming un-done and I lost several of the buttons and by the end of the night I was down to one button that was holding my entire train which ultimately led to people stepping on my dress.
The dress was gorgeous and of high quality material and the service was great, they really worked with my budget. But for how much I paid in alterations for the bustle and how many problems I had throughout the night, the alterations alone were not a great value.

Francesca, and her lovely daughter Kara, were wonderful and attentive to both my mother and I during our bridal appointment! Both provided beautiful dress suggestions, and excellent service.

Don't try to schedule an appointment online through their website, they're not terribly responsive, it's far quicker to call for an appointment.

I'd also note that Francesca's offers a separate store for Mother of the Bride and Mother of the Groom dresses-and they offer the same fabulous service!

Francesca's was wonderful. I had an appointment with Peggy and she was great! She helped me look for a dress that suited my body type and was similar to what I described. I found the perfect dress! Peggy was so sweet and really helped me look stunning on my special day! The only complaint I have is the time I was quoted for my bridesmaid dresses and my earrings and veil were off... by months! The bridesmaid dresses came in a month late and my earrings/veils 3 months late! And when I called to find out where they were it took the shipping manager over a week to call me back! Otherwise I had a good experience!
