I hired Four Winds in February of this year to assist in planning and coordinating our December wedding. After a consultation via phone with Kirsten and Jonathan, I was convinced they were the perfect team to not only secure our vendors (i.e. do the hard part!) but also put together an extraordinary setting. First and foremost, their coordination and handling of booking our vendors was so incredibly valuable that I could have never ever done any of it without them. They provided us with a few options for venues with extensive photos and eventually a 360 virtual tour of our selected venue. We did not have time or anything in our budget for a site visit, so relied 100% on their word and the visuals they provided. The location was magnificent and we were immediately excited once we saw it in person. Then came the fun part - the wedding design and floral planning. After discussing my vision, Kirsten provided an inspiration board with details of her plans. We worked through the specifics over the course of the next couple months - with her handling the local stuff and me DIYing some design elements to bring out with us. It all came together so perfectly. Kirsten's level of creativity is off the charts and her impeccable taste and attention to detail made our wedding day the most beautiful and perfect day I could have ever hoped for.

As we were reminiscing the wedding in the few days we had left with our family in Costa Rica, everyone agreed that no other destination wedding could compare to ours, that we've truly set the bar! All of my credit goes to Kirsten, for turning our inspiration into the real deal!

I would highly recommend Jon and Kirsten -- they delivered a wedding day that my new husband sincerely describes as "flawless". From our first interviews with potential planners, Jon and Kirsten stood out for really responding to the vision we had for a morning ceremony and brunch reception for our 40 guests. They recommended an amazing venue, made great contributions to our travel-themed design and effectively sourced and managed our local suppliers. As with any long-distance relationship, it's important to set communication expectations upfront as it can be challenging to keep track of all the details. That said, I never doubted that Jon, Kirsten and their team were wholeheartedly committed to delivering a perfect and very personal event. And, final point, the photos *do not* do Kirsten's work with flowers justice!!! She's got an inspired talent for floral design and her work was the final touch on our wonderful day!

Kirsten and Jonathan are absolutely amazing. they are so knowledgeable about wedding details and preparations. they made our day so special and we could not have done it without them.
we contemplated spending the money on a planner for our wedding and whether or not we thought it was worth it. kirsten and jonathan, ended up saving us as much money as the cost us and we didn't have the headache of having to contact vendors. it was so nice to have them as a liaison, between us and the vendors. especially with a language barrier, and being in a different country.
their easy laid back attitudes, were good to keep the planning stress free and they always did what they committed to.
we would recommend them to anyone considering a destination wedding within their realm of expertise and wouldn't change the fact that they were there for us on our day!! they are such amazing people and we are now proud to say we can consider them friends and not just our wedding planners!!

Our wedding was incredible, mainly due to Four Winds Weddings and Events! The decor and style was beautiful and unique! They also arranged for the officiant (who we loved by the way), our reception dinner caterer, as well as giving us advice on activities and things to see while in Costa Rica. Thank you so much for the flowers that you put together and presented for our daughter, Michelle's wedding in August. I didn't get out to the greenhouse that day to watch you "in action" creating, but later I did enjoy the photographer's pictures of you at work there. The bouquets that you made were incredible - in selection of flowers, color, and form. I think the long tables placed down through the orchard covered with the white table cloths, your "knock out" flower arrangements, and the candles glimmering from the jars hung from the overhead branches of the trees, made a truly magical place!. Many people commented on this later, and many people enjoyed getting photographs of your flower arrangements!. People said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended! Michelle was so pleased with your work! We have seen your floral work at other weddings, and your arrangements are always so impressively beautiful - beyond beautiful!. Flowers are such an important part of a wedding, and Kirsten you have such a gift!

That day Jon you were such a help too! Thanks for helping to get the silverware problem on the tables taken care of! We heard later that you stepped right in and diverted a couple of potential catastrophes! All your abilities and experience in restaurant management makes you a priceless member of the team! You are both also among the most wonderful people that I know!

First of all Jon and Kirsten are amazing people. Their attention to detail was astonishing. Kirsten is a true artist with floral arrangements and Jon's vision for the surrounding decor was profound.
