Working with Shannon to design the flowers for our wedding was an absolute joy! I had a vague vision of what I wanted but very little practical knowledge of flowers and she was able to take my thoughts and design the most beautiful displays. We got endless compliments from our guests on how beautiful the flowers were and every time I look at the photos and see the flowers it brings me joy! In addition to delivering a wonderful final product, Shannon was great to work with throughout the entire process. She was communicative, responsive, and helped us work within our budget to understand what alternative options were available to help bring down costs. She was also quick to make adjustments when I decided to make some last minute changes. I couldn’t recommend working with Shannon more! -

Shannon exceeded every idea and expectation I had for my wedding florals! She was flexible and accommodating through the many twists and turns with COVID wedding planning and delivered florals more beautiful than the inspiration photos we discussed. I cannot recommend Flourish enough! -

Book Shannon now!
Shannon is AMAZING!!! We started working with her back in 2019 when we were first planning our wedding. Fast forward to March of 2020, we had to make the difficult decision to postpone due to the pandemic. Shannon was incredibly responsive, compassionate, and helped us figure out how to navigate a time that no one could have anticipated. We ended up postponing twice overall and re-envisioning our entire celebration. Shannon made it so easy for us and was with us every step of the way.
As far as the flowers -- Shannon really helped me articulate the aesthetic we were going for and executed it flawlessly, with her own unique twist. They enhanced the event 100000% and we received so many compliments on the gorgeous arrangements. Shannon really listens to what is important to you, but takes it 5 steps further and enhances your visions to something you couldn't have imagined. A true master of her craft!
I couldn't recommend Shannon and her team more for your special day. Do yourself a favor and book them now!

Shannon is the most talented florist! The flowers she did for my wedding truly took my breath away. She took my vision and made it a reality. She was also so great to work with, she was friendly, helpful and professional. She was very understanding when we had to move our wedding due to the pandemic. She was also very patient with me when I changed up my florals and decor design a couple of times. In addition, she had great ideas when it came to centerpiece design and accents. I was told by many guests just how beautiful everything was and as a bride I could not have been happier with the flowers, decor and overall design on my wedding day. She brought my vision to life and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Shannon, she is amazing and you will not be disappointed! -

My husband and I each identified what was most important to us when we were planning our big day. For my husband it was the bar, for me it was the flowers. I’m not creative or artistic, I didn’t have “a vision”, I just wanted it to be beautiful and dramatic. Shannon first called and we went over the space, colors, etc. What came next were photos of beautiful flowers, design, decor. Then Shannon met us at the venue and came up with countless more whimsical and creative solutions to an otherwise difficult space. Shannon worked seamlessly with my other vendors and planners. The day of Shannon completely blew me away. The flowers and design were out of a magazine. She far and exceeded my expectations. Shannon is kind, patient, incredibly knowledgeable, and someone who you want to spend time with. I don’t have the words to express what having her as our florist meant but it truly was my favorite part of our day! -

Exceeded my expectations
Shannon was amazing to work with. She looked at my inspiration pictures and interrupted my vision into reality. She respected my budget and worked with me to find the right mix of accent pieces and flowers. I would highly recommend Flourish. -

Seriously. Shannon’s floral designs and embellishments were the talk of the evening. She was prompt and professional. The flowers made our wedding even more special. I actually took a moment, mid-ceremony, to have our guests applaud the bouquet. We were so happy to be graced with her creativity and eye for design and beauty. She is a gem to work with. -

Shannon is amazing! She is truly a creative genius and made my low-budget wedding venue look like a million bucks. During our initial meeting, Shannon helped guide me through different options (I did not have a concrete vision other than "pinks, greens, and ivory") and even looked at my Pinterest board with me to determine the style of florals and decorations I might want. She was very thorough and followed up our meeting with a detailed cost estimate and PDF of possible flowers and decorations. She was completely understanding of my tight budget and accommodated my limitations seamlessly. Shannon was wonderfully communicative and obviously cared about making sure everything was perfect for my wedding. She made sure that everything was beautiful and the day honestly wouldn't have been the same without her talent. Thank you so much Flourish!!! -
Shannon Sent on 10/11/2018I cannot praise Shannon enough!!! Not only is she an incredible florist she’s a pleasure to work with. As I began to plan my destination wedding in Lake Tahoe I knew immediately that florals were going to be a VERY important aspect, if not one of the most important. I’m an avid gardener, love succulents and wanted that to show.
I began reaching out to florists as soon as I set the date and became somewhat distraught....it seemed like no one understood my vision. I had spoken with several florists (and expanded my search area) when I finally found Flourish. Shannon was bubbly, passionate & said she could bring my vision to life! She sent me a mood board with colors, flower selections, ribbon colors, etc. it was in this moment I knew she was my florist! She just got it. Over the next several months we stayed in close contact and every time I changed my mind or asked to add new items I was met with an “of course” or “we’d love to”!
Even a few weeks before my wedding I was adding more succulents and the team at Flourish was kind enough to say yes! When we finally met in person it was like hanging out with an old friend (who’s crazy talented!) Fast forward to my wedding day - I had wanted to include peonies in my bouquet, but they’re not in season in August. When Shannon walked in holding my bouquet and I saw peoonies I felt tears well up inside. She said she found some all the way in Alaska....and surprised me! Talk about florist of the year!
I decided to do a moon arch with asymmetrical flowers as the ceremony backdrop....holy moly was it even more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. As I sat down at my table and looked at how gorgeous Flourish made everything look I was overjoyed. The majority of my guests even commented on how lovely all my florals were!

Shelby Sent on 08/13/2018Shannon was a dream to work with! I had met with a couple other florists before her, and right when we spoke, I knew immediately that she was the florist I wanted. She saw my vision and brought it to life. She allowed me to create the color scheme and flowers and answered all of my questions and addressed any concerns I had about whether certain colors or decor would match. Her eye for colors, flowers, and decor is amazing. Not only is she artistic and creative, but she is extremely professional and kind.The flowers and decor was above and beyond any pictures I had seen online or anything I had envisioned. She was extremely responsive, detailed, and incorporated every idea and thought that I had into the flowers. On the day of the wedding, everything was labeled and set up perfectly and executed seamlessly. She even picked up the arch and table decorations that same night, so it was one less thing that we had to worry about keeping track of or cleaning up. I highly recommend Shannon and her team. I would not have trusted anyone else with my flowers and ensuring that my vision of my dream wedding came to life. Thank you so much Shannon!

Katie Sent on 02/07/2018Shannon was an absolute DREAM to work with at Flourish! She was extremely professional, sweet, and most importantly, so incredibly creative with her floral designs. I shopped around a bit when looking for a wedding florist, and most of the designs I saw looked very generic and similar to each other. The flowers at my wedding were far and away more beautiful than anything that I could have imagined and I received compliments all night from the wedding guests and other vendors at the event. She called me back promptly and provided an initial consultation, sent me the proposal and invoice, and then we met face to face at her office so that she could show me different ideas. She was able to work within our budget and put us at ease. I even asked for a last minute change to add a floral & green arch at the wedding ceremony which she was able to pull off without a hitch. My dream wedding was turned into a reality all because of Shannon. Thank you!!

Garrett Sent on 08/21/2012My partner and I have little knowledge or experience when it comes to flowers, let alone weddings. We had no color scheme, no real ideas, and our botanical knowledge only related to edible plants. Shannon, however, knew how to take the reigns and offer up options that were colorful and contemporary by interviewing us and getting a feel for us as a couple.
She developed a color scheme based on my partner's military army green uniform and my khaki linen suit - working with blue and yellow flowers and various green succulents. Since I work as a food writer she surprised me by working sage and rosemary into my boutonniere, and into the corsages for the ladies in our wedding party. It was darling!
The table settings and the beyond breathtaking backsplash she set up at the banquet table astonished everyone. Smart, inventive, and able to work in a tight budget and offer good suggestions Shannon is THE florist to have at your wedding. -

Stephanie Sent on 08/12/2011My mom and grandma have done wedding flowers since I were a little girl; when we realized that having them do the flowers wasn't possible, we wanted to find someone EXCEPTIONAL. I grew up around wedding flowers and knew what I wanted-I brought detailed pictures and she started to draw out what my flowers would actually look like-awesome! After our appointment I was given a large detailed printout of specific flowers, size, etc. The flowers were beyond beautiful and better than I imagined they would be. Everything was perfect! -

She worked within our budget and had wonderful ideas for us. I was absoultely floored by her work. She went above and beyond my expectations - I would hire her a million times over.

Alexandra Sent on 10/13/2017Our wedding day turned out even more beautiful than I could have hoped for, in large part because of Shannon and the amazing florals she created for us. She listened very closely to me throughout the process and understood what I was looking for, and made a ton of suggestions that I ended up loving. She even was able to create arrangements to fit the arch my dad hand-made for the ceremony, and sketch out and execute a last minute design for climbing vines up a wall at the reception! I loved the little extra unexpected touches like jasmine in my bouquet, which made it smell wonderful. The wedding was local, and delivery and pickup was as easy as could be. All in all, we would definitely recommend Flourish to any bride or groom! Thanks Shannon!
