Florals to die for!

Where, oh WHERE to begin to describe how AMAZING Floressence was to work with! When I first started researching florals for our wedding, I found Floressence immediately- and was blown away! Even the simplest floral décor was breathtaking, and as a floral lover, I knew we had to go with them for our wedding day flowers. They were so understanding towards the end of our planning when we had to significantly cut our floral budget- but even so, the florals were unbelievable. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the florals and décor were, and we agree!

WOW!!! Absolutely Amazing!

Hiring Floressence was one of the best decisions we made in the wedding planning process! We had a mountain wedding at Claxton Farm (Weaverville, NC), and the team at Floressence went above and beyond to make our wedding day a dream come true.

Eatherley, the owner, is a wizard with flowers and can turn any vision/color scheme you have into a reality. Our tent didn’t allow for a long hanging floral installation, so instead she and her team installed multiple hanging floral chandeliers which turned out to be so beautiful!

The bouquets themself were absolutely stunning! I have never seen flowers look so pretty!

The attention to detail and placement was beyond my wildest dreams.

We also had some last minute adjustments due to weather, and Floressence was able to make an necessary changes on the fly.

I cannot recommend Eatherley and her team more!! I wish I could live in that tent forever!

Hands down- the best around!!!

We had a last minute change in floral vendors and I can only say it was a true God send. Not only was Eatherly and her team so wonderful to work with through the planning process, their work was EXACTLY what I had hoped and dreamed it would be. They "got" our vision for our wedding day and executed it to perfection! She is a class act and I literally cried when I got my bouquet it was so gorgeous! Thank you, thank you, thank you! When asking our other vendors who the best florist in the area, all of them said Eatherley and her team at Floressence. After looking at their work and having a design meeting at their studio, I knew we made the right decision. I gave them some photos of what I liked, but let them have creative freedom. Everything was absolutely stunning! We received so many compliments on our table arrangements and my bouquet. We highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Asheville area.

The flowers for the wedding were exactly what we hoped for! I have been to two more weddings since and friends and family still talk about the flowers from Floressence Flowers! Eatherley was amazing to work with and is sooo talented!

After seeing Eatherley's work at a friend's wedding, I knew that she and her team were the best choice of florist for our own wedding in Cashiers. As a bride who had a very specific design vision in mind (from the types of flowers to the style of vases), I so appreciated Eatherley's receptivity and patience in our in person meeting, the level of detail that she provided in her quote, and her responsiveness to questions and adjustments along the way. The final product exceeded our expectations, and everything was absolutely beautiful! Several of our guests called it the most gorgeous wedding that they've ever been to. :) Thank you Floressence for your amazing work! Y'all are incredible.

Eatherly of Floressence is UNBELIEVABLE! She turned Lioncrest at the Biltmore into a fairyland. She is so nice and responsive, and I literally could not have pictured a more beautiful scene to be married in. She went above and beyond and requires very little input, as I was a pretty hands off bride, but she brought everything I had in mind to life, and then some. I can't say enough about Floressence...love them so much!

Eatherley and her team did an amazing job on our florals. Since I was conducting a 'destination' wedding of sorts, I never actually met her, which made the results even more impressive, since she truly interpreted my vision and the results were outstanding. We had floral bouquets for all of the bridesmaids, boutonnieres for the FOB/FOG and floral arrangements for the ceremony arch and fireplace in the dining room. They also pulled together beautiful greenery garlands for our family-style farm tables. Everything was perfect!

Of all of my vendors, I spent the most time doing my due diligence for florists, & I couldn’t be happier that I chose Floressence. I was extremely impressed by not only Eatherley's work but the care & concern demonstrated by her throughout the discussion process. In the floral department, I have to admit that I was high maintenance. Even though I continuously had a plethora of questions & details to review with Eatherley, she was so patient & supportive. She is also very knowledgeable & offers a perfect balance of leading & listening. Her flexibility was unmatched, & I can’t emphasize enough how valuable this is when planning a wedding. She was even able to fulfill my last minute whims (crafting a gorgeous floral crown for my rehearsal dinner even though I only requested it two days before) & save me in emergencies (replacing my unity candle hurricane that I shattered the day before the wedding). She & her team’s willingness to help, creativity, kindness, & attention to detail were something that they continued to demonstrate leading up to & throughout the wedding weekend & beyond. Eatherley put in the extra effort to understand my vision & to ensure my needs were met & translated this into a beautiful end product. Part of my floral dream included a 36 foot suspended arrangement. Although Floressence & my venue had never tackled such a project before, their enthusiasm & willingness to figure it out was wonderful. The result was perfection, & I am so grateful. I should also note that Floressence excelled in all of the core delivery areas as well (e.g., access to a beautiful & large selection of floral & lighting containers, access to any flowers, timely & seamless set-up, break-down, & clean up, etc.). Thank you Floressence for all of your help & support! You're incredibly talented, & all of the extra effort you gave was very much appreciated. It was such a joy working with you. I sincerely recommend Floressence to anyone looking for a florist, especially brides!

Eatherley and her team are out of this world. As a Catering Director/Event Planner myself, I knew I wanted to hire someone I could totally trust to take the creative reigns but also someone who would get my inspirations and ideas and bring them to life. Eatherly and her team were a joy to work with! She took my ideas and ran with them transforming my reception space into exactly what I wanted. There are not enough good things I can say about how beautiful it truly was. I have heard nothing but compliments from guests on the greenery and arrangements from the reception. My bouquet was lovely, with dahlias and trailing greenery. Eatherly was easy to get in contact with and even met with us on a Sunday.

Eatherley and her team did a fantastic job on the flowers for my daughters wedding. I could not have asked for better. They were absolutely beautiful. Eatherley and her team were easy to work with and very flexible. As we live in Texas and the wedding was in North Carolina, everything had to be done remotely. Eatherley was very responsive and made terrific suggestions that were absolutely beautiful. All the flowers and decorations were outstanding. I would use their services again in heart beat!

Our flowers were gorgeous and just what I'd wanted (the team and I communicated via email and I shared Pinterest photos). So happy with how they interpreted what I wanted and they were the finishing touch for a magical night. We were on a budget and flowers ARE expensive, and while this is definitely an area where I stretched my budget, they were beyond helpful with finding more affordable options, answering questions, and reworking my invoice/order multiple times as I changed my mind about things. Loved the flowers, loved the experience.

I have been admiring Eatherley's talent for at least a year now. I was lucky to have the opportunity to work with her this past June. She was incredibly pleasant and infinitely patient throughout the whole process. And the flowers!!! WOW! They were stunning. It looked as though the guests were sitting in the most amazing garden during dinner. I was also impressed with the use of unique flowers in the arrangements (even the mother-of-the-groom, a flower connoisseur, was stumped by some of the beauties). I see arrangements almost every weekend and they have started to blend together in sameness, but NOT in Eatherley's flowers, her ability to produce one-of-a-kind arrangements is unbeatable. I would absolutely recommend Floressence Flowers to anyone!

I was the wedding coordinator for this wedding. Floressence Flowers was the most professional company I have ever worked with. Always answered my e-mails. returned my calls right away but most importantly her designs and presentation of flowers at this wedding was the absolute most gorgeous arrangements I have ever seen. Like no others. I would recommend this company to anyone. Her staff went far beyond to accommodate us.

Eatherley must be the best florist in the world. When we met her months before the wedding, we knew we were working with the real deal. She radiates light and kindness and beauty and it shines through her exquisite work. Our vision for the wedding was completely aligned. Because I trusted her intuition, I showed her pictures of what inspired me and let her run with it. I'm so glad I did- Eatherley and her team created the most amazing atmosphere... everything from the chuppah to the flower crowns to the table decor and every detail in between was breathtaking. They created all that we wanted and more. Eatherley and her team went above and beyond in every possible way. I cannot say enough about their talent, service, quality, and creativity. Floressence Flowers, Eatherly and her incredible team took a misty mountain day and created a magical wedding atmosphere. My daughter wanted a natural look and picked an orange pallet. The flowers, bouquets, and everything created by Eatherly were stunning and brought the sun and nature into the wedding. The chuppa, incorporated family traditions and beautiful roses and vines. Can not recommend more highly......and they stayed within our budget! But it looked like a million bucks. Kudos to a very talented group.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with my experience with Floressence. I was extremely frustrated after meeting with several florists who were not catching my vision. I talked with Eatherley and she immediately got it and it was so fun and easy to plan and talk things through with her. The designs she created for my wedding are one of my very favorite things and memories about my wedding. As cheesy as it sounds, when I walked into the venue and saw everything put together I started crying because it was so beautiful. I had guests come up to me all night and weeks after talking about how incredible the arrangements and bouquets were! Eatherley and her team is so talented, and she is so calming and patient. I can't recommend them enough!

Floressence Flowers did the floral for my daughter's wedding at the Half Mile Inn Farm in Highlands, NC.
I gave Floressence Flowers a 5 star in each category because I truly believe they earned them! Eatherley Schultz, the owner, was a professional you would want to work with on planning one of the most important days of your life. My daughter had a picture of a bouquet she had seen in a wedding magazine and wanted to duplicate it and have the flower theme follow the bouquet. Eatherley exceeded our expectations and gave valuable advice on how to achieve the look and do so in a cost saving fashion.
We had proposals from two other florist in the Highlands area and I can say with all honesty that we could not have gotten half the flowers that we had on the wedding day with the quotes they gave us.
Floressence Flowers gave us a "Feast for the Eyes" wedding and a day that neither guest nor wedding party will ever forget.

I cannot say enough great things about Eatherley and Floressence Flowers...they are amazing!! It was an absolute joy to work with her. We were from out of town, but it did not impact her ability to get a sense for what we wanted. She was very accommodating and we spent time on the phone and exchanging photos to get ideas. Our wedding was held on a farm and reception in barn. The tables were decorated shabby/chic with burlap runners accentuated with lace ribbons adding very little color to the room. The intent was to make the floral centerpieces the focus of every table. What a beautiful job Eatherly and her team did in making this happen. The flower arrangements were stunning. The colors and types of flowers not only brought life to the tables but set off the whole room. Thanks you guys.

We planned our wedding 3 states away and Floressence Flowers was so helpful communicating back and forth and accommodating us when we were in town to make sure we got everything we wanted the way we wanted it! We heard about how talented the artists at Floressence were from so many people prior to our wedding and had all the confidence in the world that they would do a wonderful job. I will never forget the feeling I had on my wedding morning when I caught the first glimpse of the altar flowers as we drove up. It was that moment when the nervousness went away and I was able to breathe and know that the day will be wonderful and beautiful no matter what. My wedding day was completely magical to me. The scene was set perfectly with the gorgeous floral arrangements and decorations at the ceremony and reception. They were exactly what I wanted, and not too much. Eatherley seemed to understand my style and she made the perfect decorations for me right down to all the details. I am so happy and can't wait to get the photos so I can see all the flowers again! By the way, I am drying the bouquets and all the flowers I could carry back because I love them so much!

We live in NYC and were planning a wedding in Waynesville, NC. When I started to look for florists online I was overwhelmed by the sheer number of florists and the prices. I also had no idea what I was doing. Floressence was incredibly easy to work with and made the whole process really easy. We had a phone conversation and I sent them my pinterest link. They totally understood what we wanted immediately. I met them face to face 2 days before the wedding when I dropped off our centerpiece vases. Katie assured me everything would be perfect. When they arrived with the flowers day of, it was the first time I got emotional. They were beautiful. I mean outstanding. It was like Katie and Eatherley were sharing my brain. I kept the flowers for days after and felt terrible when we had to leave and throw the flowers away, although I was able to dry some out and keep them. All of our vases were different size and shaped vintage dog planters. Each had their own personality and some how Eatherley and Katie managed to capture these guys with the flowers they chose to use in each of them. The bouquets were gorgeous, so pretty that my bridesmaids said there was no way I could toss one of them. Good thing we got one just to toss. And they even remembered me mentioning artichokes (one time) and included them in the bouquets. Dahlias, ranunculus, roses, scabiosa pods, billy buttons, artichokes, etc etc. I can't say enough about awesome these ladies are. As an overwhelmed bride all you want is easy, affordable and perfect and they managed to pull off all three plus. Better than I ever expected. Thank you so much...

Katie and Eatherley were wonderful to work with. Katie met with us several times, made excellent suggestions, and provided just the right vases and centerpieces for our "woodsy" theme. The flowers on the wedding arch were spectacular as was the centerpiece on the buffet table with the hanging candles! Everyone commented on how beautiful everything was.

They did a great job with my flowers! I had a picture of the bouquet I wanted and they replicated it perfectly. The bridesmaids flowers were their own creation, and they were absolutely beautiful. The complemented the ceremony flowers and my bouquet perfectly. The reception flowers were more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. The team was very quick to respond to any questions and request we had. They also managed to help us stay within our price point yet still fulfilling all of the arrangements we wanted.

Floressence did SUCH a fantastic job with the flowers for our wedding. We came in with a fairly low budget and they really worked with us to find reasonably priced options. They are creative and flexible and truly tailored our flowers to fit exactly what we were going for - woodsy yet elegant, hydrangeas and ferns... curly willow... we loved every piece, from the wreath to the centerpieces, boutonnieres to the bouquets! Floressence Flowers made my wedding spectacular! I cried when I saw my bridal bouquet! All of the flowers were above and beyond what I discussed with the ladies and completely took my breath away. Now looking back on the photos I know I made the right choice with Floressence Flowers, they were so much more personable and interested in me as an individual than some other floral designers I interviewed in Asheville. If you are needing a florist for your wedding, look no further. The florals were my favorite part of our wedding, other than getting married, of course! While flowers can be a pretty hefty investment, Eatherley and her team are well worth every penny. She created the exact vision I was going for and far exceeded my expectations. When I first walked into our reception, my breath was taken away. It looked like a magazine. We gave her my grandmother's handkerchief ahead of time and she took special care in attaching it to my bouquet. No detail was overlooked and the flowers she chose were flawless.

This vendor provided flowers for a wedding day breakfast that we had for the bride and groom. I arranged everything from out of town and the flowers were exactly as I wanted. I was emailed various pictures of arrangements and we agreed upon what we wanted. Since the flowers were perfect, I felt the florist really listened to what I wanted. She was also very flexible in allowing me to use the flowers for part of the wedding reception later in the day. However, she did go slightly over our budget.

I had a wonderful experience working with Floressence! Eatherley is very approachable and sweet, and her shop is super cute and creative. I really appreciated how she always made time for my husband and I when we wanted to meet or talk with her, and despite the fact she had a busy schedule, she was always calm and never rushed through the conversation when we did. I absolutely loved the flowers at my wedding and reception thanks to Floressence Flowers. I originally planned to use another florist but they took over 3 months to provide a quote and had been slow to respond to my emails. When I contacted Floressence Flowers with approximately 2 months to go to the wedding, they were very responsive in providing a reasonable quote and ideas for the flowers and decorations.
The bouquets, boutonnieres, halos for the flower girls, and the wishing tree we had at the reception showed Floressence's amazing artistry and creativity. Everyone who attended the festivities was impressed and friends who saw the photos also cannot stop talking about how beautiful the floral arrangements were.

Floressence Flowers did a great job with our wedding. We live 4 hours away, so all of our correspondence was through email and they were able to piece together all of our thoughts, changes and more changes, and create a beautiful display of earth's wonderful creations. Everyone loved our flowers!

I loved the work Floressence Flowers did for my wedding. They were extremely flexible with meetings and always replied to my emails/phone calls within 24 hours. Although I loved the work they did with the flowers, I do not believe the amount I paid was worth the quantity of flowers. I would recommend Floressence for any occasion.

Working with Eatherly was such a wonderful experience. As you begin going through the wedding process of vendors, it can become very stressful. Every time we spoke with Eatherly she had a very calming , honest, and a very professional attitude. She was a total delight to work with and visiting with her at her store for the first time, was so much fun to see all her options and ideas she had to work with your vision. Eatherly makes your wedding flowers, from the bouquets to the tables exactly what you envisioned on your wedding day. When we walked into the Church and Reception - everything was so perfect! I have one more daughter to marry and I know we will be back when that day comes to work with her. You will be extremely happy!

The flowers for our son's wedding were spectacular. There were so many favorable comments by guests. I never had any concerns or worries about the arrangements. I just new that they would be beautiful.

Ever since I started wedding planning, I had my heart set on Floressence and boy did they help all of my dreams come true! From a flower wall to hanging centerpieces, the florals were the talk of the evening! To be 100% honest, I hoped for a little bit more for the prices of some of the things, but the team knew where I wanted the focus to be and did NOT disappoint! Eatherly was a dream to work with and VERY organized. I’m still in awe over their work, I’d DEFINITELY recommend to ANY bride!

Eatherly was very nice and created beautiful flowers for my wedding. I did feel like we had a slight gap in communication, which may have been partly my fault (I didn't have a wedding planner and was back and forth about ideas) but she seemed to forget a few of the things we talked about - but we did go back and forth a lot! The main thing was that I really wanted a flower halo, and ended up getting a hairpiece. It was still very beautiful, but we had specifically talked about a halo, down to the color of the ribbon (bridal ivory) to match my dress. The way the items on invoice are listed, it was a little confusing, which is why I thought I had ordered a halo and tgen also flower girl baskets but actually had only ordered the flower girl halos. I kind of panicked when my order showed up without the baskets. However, she rushed and made them and had them brought to chapel within an hour, so I was so pleased with that responsiveness. She is a true artist and all the flowers were incredibly beautiful.

Floressence Flowers was amazing! Eatherly was so helpful and responsive. I know very little about flowers and didn't have anything specific in mind. I just knew the feel I wanted and the colors. I also live 5 hours away so we did all of our consulting over the phone and email. Not only were the flowers just what I wanted, they were better than I could have imagined! Our original quote was pretty high but I spoke with her and we worked it down to a more manageable number. My only small complaint was that they arrived an hour late to the venue. Not so late that everything wasn't perfect for the ceremony and reception but late enough that I did not get to see the arrangements before the night's festivities began. Overall, I had a great experience with Floressence. If you are looking for someone that knows what they are doing and can make really unique, earthy arrangements, this is the vendor for you!

We very much enjoyed working with the ladies at Floressence. They took hold of our ideas and created beautiful bouquets and flower arrangements for the wedding! Unfortunately the groom's boutonniere was a little wilty but that was my only dissatisfaction. They have a great eye for design and really made our day extra beautiful.

I bought wedding party flowers. The flowers were beautiful, well arranged, and had the colors and variety that I was looking for. I choose Floressence, because the pictures on their website had the overall rustic and slightly wild look I was going for, and the flowers I received had that same look. However, I really wanted a cascading bouquet, and i had sent a picture of two bouquets that I liked. So I was very disappointed to receive a large bouquet, but not at all the shape I wanted. Also, I sent a picture of a boutonniere that I liked, which was a fern and some seeded plant material, with no flowers. I received boutonnieres that had a small flower, which was not really what I was going for. It's like the person putting the flowers together that day had never seen the pictures I sent or read my email. Again, the flowers were lovely and packaged well for pickup (I did the rest on the flower decor myself- but didn't have the time or trust myself to do the bouquets), but really not what I asked for.

The flowers were beautiful and local, and the arrangements were unique. There was a small issue with losing a check, but to my knowledge a dropbox has been installed to prevent future mishaps. The flowers were not exactly what I had in mind, and what with my limited knowledge of flowers, I didn't realize the difference between eucalyptus and eucalyptus flowers, but it didn't really matter: the arrangements were done on time (even a few hours before!) and were exceptionally beautiful.
