I ordered 25 peonies for $150 from fiftyflowers. By the time the wedding came around, we were able to use 5 of them! We followed the care instructions exactly, and the day after they arrived, they looked horrible! We hoped a little more water and time would help them open but no. They were useless and we had to completely redesign the bridal bouquet-kind of a big part of the wedding day.

When I called after the wedding to ask for a refund, they said they had a 24-hour policy. That would have been a nice thing to include on the sales receipt, or bet yet, on the page of each flower deion. If you're asking people to spend a lot of money, you need to communicate very clearly what they need to do if they order is wrong.

And 24 hours is ridiculous considering that most issues don't occur until after that. I think that this is their way of getting out of refunding horrible flowers. I've ordered flowers from other websites on many occasions and have never had any issues.

At the end of the day, they offered a 10% off discount on a future order. Ridiculous. A future order?! I will never order from them again and am completely dissatisfied with their lack of care and customer service. $150 for 5 unacceptable peonies is outrageous!

Do not shop from them!

Ordered $300 worth of flowers along with their paper vases for rehearsal dinner. Was urged to change date of delivery to day earlier. I agreed. The flowers came on time (Wed). The vases did not. They were scheduled to arrive on Friday. They overnighted them so they arrived on Thursday. I was not available on Thursday. I planned to arrange the flowers on Wednesday per their schedule. What was I supposed to do with flowers and no vases? It was their choice to send the flowers overnight and the vases ground. It was not a delay in delivery. They could have sent the vases early so that I would have everything together. They offered cash but having the event in a city that I don't live in would prove very difficult to find replacements at that late a date. The operator on the phone was not helpful at all. No compensation was offered for my inconvenience. I thought they should offer the vases for free but they did not budge.

After fretting over not having a budget for a florist to to our wedding arrangements, I convinced my husband to go for ordering flowers in bulk and doing it ourselves. The selection and quality from Fiftyflowers.com was excellent! We were able to do very simple centerpieces, bouquets for the girls and boutonnieres for the guys, and keep it all in budget. The only drawback of course, is having to do the work yourself. That, and having to work with any shipping issues. It is recommended to have the flowers delivered as close to the date of the event as possible, so any delay is nerve-wracking. One of our packages was stopped for a random inspection by the USDA, and ended up arriving a day and a half late, not a long delay, but we had to rush to get everything done in time. The rep at Fifty Flowers was ready to overnight a replacement order if we needed, and was very reassuring during the shipping process. Basically, if you are organized and ready to roll up your sleeves, FiftyFlowers.com is a quality resource!

I decided that I wanted to use all rose petals for my wedding: down the aisle, for centerpieces floating in water with candles, on tables such as the escort card table and cake table, in petal cones for guests to throw after the I “Dos” as we walked back down the aisle and more. Our theme was fall into romance and our primary color was red. I first heard about fiftyflowers.com from one of the venues we visited. After reading positive reviews on the internet we decided to order 12,000 fresh red rose petals. We thought the price was very reasonable compared to many other places including an actual florist. Our wedding was on a Saturday and we had the flowers delivered on Thursday. They arrived on time and we checked each bag and found no issues. We kept them in the refrigerator until the wedding and they stayed perfectly fresh. We received a call after our order to confirm and a call and email after the flowers were delivered. I was really impressed by the customer service. The rose petals looked absolutely beautiful throughout our wedding and really helped to carry our theme throughout. My guests loved them. Would definitely recommend to other brides.

I ordred 12,000 red and white roses. The customer service was absolutely great. I had scheduled the delivery before but they called and said that they suggest I do it 2 days before that way if I am not satisfied for whatever reason they have time to contact a local florist to fulfill my order. The flowers looked great and were such a beautiful addition to our ceremony decor. The value is unmatched...

I used fiftyflowers.com for all my flowers. I made my centerpieces, head table centerpieces, cake table decoration, ceremony decoration, bouquets and bouts. All the flowers looked beautiful. It was a little hard work but it was worth it. I saved a lot of money and I was super happy with everything.

Do not order flowers from this company! I spent $200 to order 50 Helga Piaget Cream Roses for my wedding in September. The deion on the website described it as a large garden rose that is used as a substitute for peonies when they are out of season. Perfect! And the picture showed a large cream rose with many ruffled layers. When they arrived two days before the wedding, not only were they pink instead of cream, but they were so small. The other "filler" roses we ordered locally were larger and prettier and 1/3 of the price.

I understand that mistakes happen, so I was extremely understanding when I called to see about getting a new shipment of roses. I sent them pictures of the roses we received and then had to wait 2 hours for them to "review" my pictures before I received a call back from anyone. After getting the run around for another 4 hours, I was told by Violet from Fifty Flowers that the roses did seem pink but that they would "change color from pink to cream" and refused to believe that the picture on the website was different from the flowers I received.

I asked Violet to send me the David Austin Patience Rose as a substitute, for it was the only other large cream garden rose they had on their website and after waiting another hour for her to "check with her manager", she leaves a voicemail at 5pm telling me they will send out 50 ecuadorian roses as a substitute. Again, this is not what I asked for.

These arrived the next day and were worse than the original Helga roses I received. My floral designer said that she had never seen such poor quality flowers.

I was upset with the quality of the flowers, but most importantly I was upset with the lack of customer service. If you order from this company and your flowers are wrong, don't expect them to do anything about it.

We ordered freedom roses and rose petals from fifty flowers for our centerpieces, additional tables and the aisle runner; everything was great. It seemed a little pricey, but the quality made the price reasonable compared to other places I looked at. It was an easy ordering process and the flowers were beautiful! The colors were so rich and the roses lasted long after the wedding. I think I went a bit overboard with all of the petals I ordered, but it was worth it. I'd rather have too many than not enough! You can always use extra rose petals :)

I was thrilled with these flowers. If you are willing to put in the effort of opening these boxes of flowers, keeping them in buckets of water for a few days before the wedding, they are perfect for you. The deal is price and quality is unbeatable. They were large, beautiful, and - most important - fresh!
We ordered dozens and dozens of two different of large roses and some filler. I had searched for the perfect color roses, and these matched as closely as I could have hoped.
As promised, customer service called within an hour of the flowers delivery, so we felt well taken care of. There was slight confusion with the order, and the caller promised to have customer resolution call us back - BUT that never happened. Two days before a wedding, you want people to follow through on what they promise - but luckily the issue turned out not to be an issue, so we didn't need the resolution in the first place.
We went to a fancy local florist for the bridal bouquet, so it would be "just right" -- and they ended up screwing up our order, so really, you never really know!
Overall, I highly recommend.

I was so nervous to use an online company for my wedding flowers I used for decorations, but the price was so great, I took the chance. I ordered 12,000 rose petals and 200 roses, all fuchsia and orange from fiftyflowers.com and they were GORGEOUS! Exceeded my expectations! From the moment I ordered them to the time I received them, the whole process was smooth. I had to call customer service a couple times, and they answer all my questions and ensured me that I would receive the color shade I wanted. Delivery was right on, fiftyflowers even called me one hour after delivery to ensure everything arrived in excellent condition. The flowers were so easy to care for when I opened them up. I got them 3 days before the wedding, and they lasted beautifully! The rose petals were just amazing, and you will NOT find that price anywhere else! If you are a bride/groom on a budget or love DIY, fiftyflowers is the way to go.

I looked at every florist online that I possibly could that offered flowers in bulk so that we could create our own arrangements/bouquets. FiftyFlowers.com was, by far, the best! I was very nervous about ordering flowers online. A good friend was doing our flowers and the green spider mums at fiftyflowers were about 1/4 the price of where she purchased the rest of the flowers, so we took the risk. They were delivered within 10 minutes of the planned delivery time and about 10 minutes later we received a call asking if we received the flowers and if we had questions about the care. When we figured out a few minutes later, that we did in fact have questions, we called them back, they answered the phone and were very helpful. The flowers were beautiful--- the color, size and quality were just what I wanted.

What a HORRIBLE company fiftyflowers .com sent me 150 stems of White Cloud Spray Garden Roses and 100 stems of White Ranunculus. We got them July 14, 2011 they were supposed to be there between 10:30 – 12 pm they were delivered way after that. My wife sent them to her aunt who was putting the flowers together. On arrival the White Ranunculus were completely DEAD! We could not use them since her aunt did not know that you have to show picture of the flowers or send them back she just through them away. SO IF YOU ARE STUPID ENOUGH TO BY FLOWERS FROM FIFTYFLOWERS.COM MAKE SURE YOU TAKE A PICTUER OF THE FLOWERS BECAUSE THEY WILL BE BAD!!! Our wedding was July 17 the other White Cloud Spray Garden Roses by the time the wedding came around the flowers were already wilting. We just wanted our money back for the White Ranunculus but they refuse without proof. None of our wedding picture have them in so obviously we did not use them because they were DEAD!
Substituted part of my flowers twice. Received half of our flowers damaged. Half of the flowers were white and the other half were YELLOW. We had to buy new ones from somewhere else. We ended up having to use some of them and my bouquet was so wilted... Called them about 10 times and left messages. NEVER called back. Still have not called back... Had to call my bank to get part of my money back. Terrible experience.

WOW! Fifty Flowers is AWESOME! So easy to order through and wonderfully helpful in the process. Jean assisted us and helped us save a lot of money while still getting the most amazing bouquets and arrangement. I was nervous about having flowers shipped to me, but it was an irrational fear as this was hands down the best thing we did.

I used FiftyFlowers for purple hydrangeas because we couldn\'t find them on any other floral wholesale site. We received the flowers at about 4 pm on the Thursday I had arranged for them to ship. Unfortunately, about half were already wilted because they had been on the hot FedEx truck for 7 hours and were only wrapped in newspaper and wax paper with no ice packs. We were only able to use a few stems for our wedding arrangements and had to throw the rest away. I had a much better experience with Blooms By the Box - the white and blue hydrangeas and cream and lavender roses I ordered from them came wrapped in silver bubble wrap with ice packs, wet cotton around the stems, and plastic around the individual flowers.
