Great Experience!

I had a wonderful experience with Ferri Formals in purchasing my wedding dress. From living several hours away throughout the fitting process, the staff was very understanding and flexible to accommodate their schedules for when I would be in town. They were so helpful in helping me narrow down my options until I found my dream dress! They did a phenomenal job in altering my dress to ensure it fit properly and that I felt comfortable. MaryLu went above and beyond to make sure every detail, including the intricate beadwork, was perfect. I highly recommend Ferri Formals!

Most Perfect Dress

I used Ferri Formals and Bridals to find the wedding dress of my dreams and was not disappointed! The staff was incredibly helpful and listened to what I was looking for. They were able to find me my dress almost immediately. I felt the fitting trial was easy and the seamstress did a phenomenal job. The dress fit me perfectly and I’m excited that it will soon be turned into a cocktail dress I can wear for years to come! Highly recommend Ferri Formals and Bridals for anyone looking for a gorgeous wedding/evening/cocktail/bridesmaid dress.

The best all around!

Marylu and the Ferri Formals team are phenomenal! They made my wedding dress dreams come true. Our entire wedding party was dressed, including MOB. I originally chose them because of the designers they carried, and ended up falling in love because of the personalized and competent customer service. At my first appointment, I let them know my budget and the kind of styles I was interested in, and I found my dress that day. They also did the alterations on-site for us all, and everyone’s dresses and suits fit perfectly after the first fittings. They’re attentive, flexible, and welcoming. I never felt more beautiful than I did in my dress. Would highly recommend!

Excellent!

Ferri Formals and Bridals is a great shop with reasonable prices and so much variety in size and style. The location was convenient for me, so they ended up being the only place I went to shop for my wedding dress. When I was trying on dresses and searching for the perfect one, I never felt rushed or pressured. It was such a fun experience and they made me feel so special. I took my dress home with me and brought it back a few months before my wedding for alterations. I had my dress taken in quite a bit and it was still a little big on top after alterations. They did even more alterations and told me I could pick it up 2 days before my wedding. That was stressful, but they assured me it would be ready and that there would still be time left for more alterations if needed. They pulled it off and I was happy with how well my dress fit me. My husband and his Best Man rented their tuxes from Ferri Formals and the process was very easy for them. They also altered my Maid of Honor dress, even though it was purchased from somewhere else. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with Ferri Formals and I'm looking forward to having them clean and preserve my dress!

Found my perfect dress & had the best experience!

I did not expect to find my dream dress the first day I went looking, but it happened! I scheduled a whole day of appointments at different bridal stores just to cancel from the dressing room of our second stop, Ferri Formals! (which has THE softest fur carpet, by the way!) With so many different styles and sizes from different designers, I really felt like I got to try on everything I was interested in and when I got down to my top choices, I didn’t want to take my dress off and the decision was obvious! MaryLu was awesome and went above and beyond to make the experience feel special from the first time I walked into the store and every time after.

One of the best places to shop for a wedding dress in the Capital Region! The dress I ended up with was actually one chosen by the stylist. I could not be happier with my dress, between the style and the fit (I had it tailored at Ferri!). Almost every wedding guest complimented me on my Casablanca dress. I love that they have the trunk shows. They have a great selection of a few different designers and their spaces to try on dresses are so cute. The staff was so nice and helpful. Thank you for making me feel so beautiful on my wedding day!

Marylou and her staff were amazing! They were very professional especially during COVID. When my dress arrived with a few issues, Marylou was able to get it solved for me! Ferris formals

I had gone to a few different bridal shops before here and none came close to the quality and variety at Ferris. Everyone I worked with were wonderful and I never felt rushed or pressured. They had a large variety of dresses and were very accommodating to work with. All of the staff were genuinely interested in hearing about your wedding and helped look for your perfect dress. They have more than one gorgeous area to try on dresses and really makes you feel like a special bride! I highly recommend!

Gorgeous Dresses

My dress was perfect and my bridesmaids looked radiant and cohesive. We were able to find dresses for them in all different styles to compliment their varying silhouettes. The alterations department is top notch. Even my mother and mother in law looked their best! Mary Lou is the sweetest and makes every human being feel whole as soon as you walk through her doors. Found my dream gown with a more than helpful staff!

Marylu and her staff were fantastic in finding the most beautiful gown for my wedding. Their ability to make you feel so special, heard and safe during all of the COVID-19 protocols was especially important during these trying times.

Even after my wedding, Marylu has been so quick and responsive to my needs with dress preservation questions. Ferri Formals has made me feel like a huge part of the family with posting my pictures from the wedding on their Instagram-it just warms my heart! If you ask most of the brides in the Capital Region where they bought their dress from, they will say Ferri Formals! They are just the best!

I began my wedding dress search with Ferri Formals just over a year before my wedding and very quickly found a gorgeous dress that I absolutely LOVED. The consultants did a fabulous job figuring out what dress would look best on me. I tried a few on than she put the ONE on and I just fell in love with it. Very easy to work with, all of their departments. They even stored my dress for over a year until my wedding. Amazing service

I made an appointment at Ferri Formals over a year before my wedding just planning to try on a few things and get a sense for my style and what I liked/didn’t like. When I walked in I was greeted with individualized attention that really made me feel special for that bridal moment. I gave them my budget, we pulled dresses, and after trying on just 7 dresses I knew I had found the one! They were just as excited as I was and really made the experience something I will always remember. Every time I was in the store from the initial dress shopping, to picking out a veil, to the fittings, to the final pick up, everyone was so friendly and excited and wanted to hear all about my fiancé and my big day. It truly gave me that bridal feeling! I had my alterations done here as well and never once worried about anything, the seamstress was so open in communicating everything to me and walking me through every adjustment to my dress as well as helping me in and out of it each time I went in so it didn’t get ruined. Overall I recommend this place to everyone and in the last year and a half since I initially bought my dress, I’ve recommended 3 other brides go here, ALL of which bought their wedding dresses here as well! Brides who are on a budget also make sure you check here, they run sales ALL the time, check their social media pages!

Perspective from a father

We were referred to Ferri Formals and Bridals by another professional in the wedding industry. We had already decided to go there to search for a gown and the referral was the reassurance we wanted. We had previously met the owner, Marylu, at a bridal fair and were impressed by the presentation, including live models displaying some of her gowns.
The shop is comfortable and not overwhelming. The staff were pleasant, accommodating, and knowledgeable about finding a gown that fits the woman and her vision. Marylu also took the time to give her expertise to guide the process, checking back a few times.
We left happy and satisfied with the selection, the service, and the value and will return again for the next formal occasion.

The Best Day Ever

My Brides and Grooms and their families can not say enough good things about Ferri Formals and Bridals. As a Custom Wedding Officiant I share the entire wedding planning process with my couples and one of their highlights is of course, choosing their wedding attire. Couples seem to ALWAYS find their dream dress and outfits at Ferri's. The owner, Marylu, approaches her business with an unequalled expertise. She knows her inventory and can really listen to what her customer is looking for then she finds options that are the perfect fit. She seems to be able to work within any given budget. Marylu also regularly advertises all of her sales and deals.
Finally, like a bow on an already beautiful package, the alterations she offers gives the individual as custom fit - just as it was made for them!
Best of all, she does it all with heart, she really cares. I have seen her come with needle and thread and help a bride that had an accident on her wedding day. She is that good. You will love her!!!!! Look no further. As you can tell, I am not only a colleague but also a customer:)

I received all the kindness, help and flexibility I could ever hope for from Ferri Formal and Bridal!!!

Ferri Formal and Bridal (and specifically MaryLu), got me the dress of my dreams for the absolute greatest wedding day ever! In January of 2018 I began looking at dresses at multiple stores in MA for my December 2019 wedding. One of the first dresses I ever tried on was a Lillian West dress that I loved- style 6422…. But, it being one of the very first I tried, I didn’t think it could be the one. At my next dress shopping trip, I purchased a different dress.

In between January of 2018 and December of 2019 I just knew in my gut that I had bought the wrong dress for me and my vision for my wedding day. At the beginning of December I began frantically searching everywhere on the internet for a used Lillian West dress I could buy in time for my wedding at the end of the month. I found Ferri Formal and Bridal online because they were having a Lillian West trunk show. I contacted them inquiring about the dress and MaryLu was the KINDEST woman ever. She heard my crazy story, helped me order a NEW Lillian West dress within my budget and was very patient with my fears and worries about the short timeline.There were 2 weeks to go until my wedding when my dress came in and arrived at the store. I drove to NY and MaryLu and team arranged for it to be altered THAT VERY DAY! I am so grateful for MaryLu’s kindness, help and support! I had a great experience and would recommend their store highly!

Best Bridal Boutique around!

Hunting for the perfect wedding dress was so stressful. After several different experiences at shops in the area with my Bridal Party, feeling pressured and put in gowns so far from my style, I took a whim by myself one day and made it over to Ferri Formals & Bridals.
The owner, Marylu, instantly made me feel at ease. In no time at all, I finally felt like a bride and not just a potential sale. She listened to what I was looking for and in moments, I had several dresses I fell in love with. Within 30 minutes, I had found the ONE. So many gorgeous, diverse styles to choose from at insanely great price points. The experience was effortless and peaceful.
I'm sure it's super common for Brides to say "I'm going to lose weight" and order a smaller size. I knew I was going to be working hard to get my body where I wanted it to be, but as any knowledgeable owner would suggest, she advised I order the size I currently was and alter as needed.
Fast forward about a year to my alterations fitting. I had lost close to 25 pounds and a lot of inches. Which felt wonderful, but I was swimming in my dream dress. It would have had to be completely reconstructed, lace removed and replaced, etc. The cost to alter it perfectly would have been over half of the cost of the dress itself. With only 10 days before my wedding, I was a little stressed! Within minutes, the problem was resolved. Marylu was able to call the designer and they had a my dress available to ship with my exact measurements. It came in a matter of days and fit like a glove. I am positive that any other bridal shop would sit back and wait until receiving the alteration fees, and am blown away by how it was all handled seamlessly.
Marylu knows her stuff, saved my wedding day and made sure I felt beautiful and calm through the whole experience. Any bride to be needs to make Ferri Formals a priority in their hunt for the perfect dress and to truly feel like a special Bride.

Amazing Experience!

I went to other bridal places before i went to Ferri Formals. I had an image in my head and all the other shops only got me what i thought i wanted in a dress. I found my dream dress at Ferri!!

I found my dream dress at Ferri!! It was in the window upon my arrival and I immediately fell in love with it. Unfortunately, it was a size 12 and I needed a size 4... before my heart was broken the sales lady ran downstairs to get the seamstress who came into the fitting room, pulled on a few parts of the dress and assured me that they would make it work. Not only did they make it work, they made it perfect!! It was impossible to tell that the dress was altered at all.

I can’t say enough good things about Ferri’s. I was able to find 2 perfect dresses that were both within my budget. I was never put in a dress that was outside of my budget and every dress she picked for me fit my style perfectly. Once my dresses came in I also used Ferri’s for my alterations. They did an amazing job recreating my first dress. The seamstress literally made me brand new straps out of extra fabric from my dress. The alterations were also very affordable. When looking for wedding dresses definitely visit Ferri’s.

Incredible Experience

I don’t know where to begin. What an incredible experience from the moment I called to make an appointment to pick up my dress weeks before my wedding day! I am a Wedding and Event Florist and many of my brides have used Ferri Formals for their special day. They have such an incredible dress selection and again amazing staff. Do not go anywhere else for your big day this bridal shop will not disappoint.

Great experience

I first went to this bridal shop while I was the MOH in my best friends wedding. The store had plenty of options for the bridesmaids to choose from. We found a beatiful dress that was flattering on all body types. A few months after my friend's wedding I got engaged, I couldn't have imagined going to anyother bridal shop. I met with my MOH, my mother, and soon to be mother-in-law at Ferri formals where I tried on many dresses with the Lillian West trunk show. The consultant was very helpful, and paid close attention to me and my bridal group (eventhough the shop was very busy). By the end of the visit we found my dress and I couldn't be happier, the dress was reasonably priced and I was given a great deal having bought through the truck show! My wedding is two weeks away and I cannot wait!

Bought wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses

I cant even begin to explain how wonderful ferris in Schenectady is. I went back in October to look for styles of wedding dresses. I ended up trying a bunch on with no plan to buy, but ended up finding my dream dress. I had the best two consultants help me out. They helped me pick a veil, and I even got a $200 credit towards my veil if I purchased my dress then as there was a sale. Just last month my bidesmaids and I went back and each one found the dress they liked in the color I wanted. There was a lot of options for color and style as well. All in all, I highly recommend them. They are so friendly and accommodating to what YOU want. There is also dresses for mother of the bride, groom, flower girl dressss and they also do tuxedos and suits.

Excellent Service

Ferri Formals was not my first place to look at dresses but when I walked in and saw how many dress they have was incredible. They have so many beautiful wedding dress to choose from and at an affordable cost. The staff was very friendly and easy to work with. I bought two wedding dresses from them, all my bridesmaid dresses and accessories. The lady who did my alterations was amazing. She was so sweet and really listened to how I wanted my dress to fit. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Great Experience

Cannot emphasize enough how amazing this store is! I found my perfect dress and my consultant Monica was nothing short of amazing. She picked dresses for me that suited my style and made me feel like a bride for the first time since getting engaged. My mom and future mother in law also found their dresses while we were there. Very accommodating and I so appreciated the attention to detail that was demonstrated from the staff both with my mother/mother in law and myself. I would 100% recommend Ferri Formals & Bridals to any future bride looking for their perfect dress as well as a memorable experience! 10/10, 5 stars, and everything in between.

Great experience! Don't go anywhere else!

I went to Ferri's on a whim while visiting my Mom for Thanksgiving. Best decision of the weekend because I found my dress!!!! Debbie was my consultant and she was beyond amazing. From the moment she greeted us at the door, she made me and my mom both feel instantly comfortable and she was attentive, personable, and professional. She listened to what I wanted, gave suggestions on things that may look well with the dress, and never pressured me into a decision! I was nervous to start bridal gown shopping but if I had known I would be working with someone like Debbie, I wouldn't have been nervous at all. She made the whole experience FUN!! Debbie was not the only pleasant one we had the chance to work with. Marylu helped us get the gown ordered and offered advice/insight when choosing a color and accessories to go along with the dress. My mother and I had a wonderful time at Ferri's and wouldn't hesitate to shop there again!

Update: I have since gotten married, my dress looked absolutely gorgeous and came in with PLENTY of time for alterations to get the fit perfect. I am now bringing my dress to Ferri's for cleaning & preservation. They do it all!! Absolutely great service. Won't ever hesitate to recommend :)

The best in the area!

Marylu is great to work with, very professional, and very sweet. She ensures that the bridal shopping experience is special and doesn't make you feel uncomfortable or pressured. We purchased a wedding dress, 7 bridesmaid dresses, and rented 7 groomsmen tuxedos and had no issues. She has a great selection, and the alterations were also very good. They are the best and I would choose them again in a heartbeat!

Above and Beyond

My daughter lives in the Tampa Bay area but would be getting married back here. She purchased her dress from a 'big box' bridal superstore. The purchase and alteration process for her had been frustrating, but they did agree to ship to the dress to me so that it could be pressed at the dress superstore's area location. Because it had been such a challenge, and the fact that the wedding date was fast-approaching, I reached out to Ferri Formals for advice.

Marylu and her staff were exceptionally accommodating and professional.

All told, they pressed a wedding dress, underskirt, veil, flower girl's dress, provided an impromptu fitting and final minor alterations to the wedding dress AND fitted and delivered a suit for the father of the bride. He looked incredible! Kevin is a master!

Ferri Formals far-exceeded our expectations. They can and will do the same for you as well.

I can't say enough good things about Ferri Formals & Bridals. Every interaction was positive, from the moment I walked in as a nervous bride to walking out with my dream dress after fittings & alterations. The staff was courteous and professional, especially the owner who went above & beyond to make me happy. The salon itself is everything I had hoped: elegant, spacious, with private rooms for trying on (and showing off) dresses. Huge selection for brides, bridal party and mothers... Plus accessories, jewelry and veils. I got everything here, including my Matron of Honor's dress... it was a one stop shop!

I have always been a Say Yes to the Dress girl. For months I searched magazines and sites. I fell in love with a dress by Lillian West so began my search of shops that carried the dress. I spoke with the owner of Ferri Formals who was very nice and worked with me to find the dress and have the sample come to their store. I had already been to a few shops and didn’t get the right vibe to buy from them nor did they have my dream dress. When I entered Ferri Formals it was a different feeling I knew this is where I would get my dress unfortunately the sample was too small to fit into. It took a few more dresses and Marylu’s assurance that the dress that didn’t fit was my dress. They even helped me figure out my shoes during the fitting and one of the girls helped me with my earrings. I certainly recommend going there and taking advantage of the deals and advice they offer.

If anyone is looking for a wedding dress, go to Ferri Formals and Bridals! The staff are very nice, including the owner, Marylu. She took great care of me during a busy yet wonderful time! I can't thank the owner and staff at Ferri's enough!!! 16 days before my sisters out of state wedding we FINALLY received dresses we ordered from another local shop that were wrong! I called Ferri's in a panic and not really thinking they would help me since we didn't originally purchase there. To my surprise the owner was beyond understanding, super quick to call the designer and arrange for new dresses to be sent to her shop. I brought her the wrong dresses and she is getting us the right dresses!!! We leave for the wedding in 8 days. She has completely saved my baby sisters wedding!!! I will forever be thankful for her! She has gone above and beyond to help us clean up a disaster that she didn't cause.. solely out of the kindness of her heart!! A true amazing business owner!!! The shop was clean and gorgeous, everyone working was friendly and so graciously accommodating.

Marylu and her staff at Ferri Formals were extremely courteous and professional right from the very first phone call. She has a beautiful shop with a great selection of gowns. Ferri Formals outfitted our entire wedding party consisting of 6 Bridesmaids and 6 Groomsmen along with father of the bride and groom. I had an excellent experience with Ferri Formals. I got my dress from there as did my bridesmaids. They were very accommodating and helpful. Great variety, so many beautiful dress options for bridal gowns, bridesmaids, and mother of the bride! Marylu went above and beyond to provide good service and meet all of needs. I had a truly amazing experience with this boutique. They exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only did they get me in last minute for an appointment, they listened to me attentively and helped me find the dress of my dreams on the first appointment. They gave me updates when my dress and veil came in, and were extremely helpful to my now husband in helping him decide on suits for he and his groomsman. Alterations were perfect and the final product was amazing. If you don't go there, you're missing out.

I said yes to my dress at Ferri Formals. I walked in thinking I knew exactly what I wanted, and the stylist who worked with me brought a few dresses that fit that bill before she suggested I try on something a little different. It was the perfect dress for me and I'm so glad that she took elements from my original vision and combined that with her expertise! Ferri also did an outstanding job with my alterations and bustle. Ferri Formal was so accommodating, I had driven two hours without an appointment and they helped my mother and me without any issue. Mary Lu is the owner and was extremely helpful, making me feel like I was the only bride that mattered. I had been to NY Bride and a couple other boutiques but Ferri Formal was far above the rest. The seamstress was extremely helpful when it came to alterations and how the bride needs to move in the gown. I can’t say enough positive about Ferri Formal, thank you for making my day EXTRA special!!

I cannot speak highly enough of my experience at Ferri Formals and Bridals in Schenectady. The selection of formal wear was exceptional and the service was superior when compared to the countless shops that I went to prior to Ferri’s. I sincerely enjoyed working with the entire staff from the beginning to the end of my experience there.

I first began working with Patty. She was amazing and she listened to what I was in search of and then provided me with exactly that. I appreciated this because I kept finding that at other boutiques I would explain what it was that I wanted and then the employee would pull the opposite of what I described. It almost felt like a ploy to get you to settle for the next dress you tried on in your size that was remotely close to what you envisioned wearing. After being so discouraged and feeling as if I was wasting my time, it was extremely refreshing to feel respected at Ferri’s rather than feel treated like a walking dollar sign. That same evening, the search was over and I had found my wedding gown!

Mayleen did an unbelievable job with my alterations and added ¾ sleeves onto my dress. She is incredibly talented and I was impressed with the quality of her work. Her sense of humor and honest opinions were also very helpful throughout the process. Marylu, the owner, was fantastic to work with. She was genuine, fair in her pricing, and gave me the feeling that she truly wanted me to find the dress of my dreams. Holly, as well as the rest of the staff, was knowledgeable, very sweet and well organized (which I LOVED).

We also used Ferri’s for our bridesmaid’s dresses, mother of the bride dresses, and my sister found a stunning prom gown there. We would have rented tuxedos from there if we had not already put a deposit down elsewhere. The prices are so reasonable but their customer service and professionalism is what sets them apart from their competition. You will not be disappointed at Ferri Formals and Bridals!

I went to all of the bridal shops in the capital district to find my dream dress, and Ferri Formals was the only one who had the selection and quality of dress that I was looking for- in exactly my price range! My alterations were absolutely flawless, and they even helped me order extra appliqués to use as I pleased! So I was really nervous about trying on dresses. I have never been a size two and trying on sample sizes was a big anxiety for me. I was afraid that I would love something and not be able to put it on. Marylu and her staff were absolutely amazing! Never once did I feel like my size was the problem. Yes of course the samples were a little small but Marylu told me don't worry you are going to get it on and get an idea of what you might like. Not only were they conscientious of my feelings but actually really listened to what I wanted. I found the gown. It was the third dress I tried on. And I LOVE it. I absolutely cannot imagine getting married in any other dress. The Ferri Formals staff also helped me with my bridesmaids selections. It was a big deal for me because I have been in several weddings and understand how expensive it can be. I gave a budget of what I wanted the dresses to cost, not only did Marylu and her team come under that budget but blew it out of the park. They had a ton of styles, brands, and colors, to choose from and were very accommodating to the fact that I have 8 bridesmaids, 5 of whom are out of towners. Lastly my mom. My mom deserved the absolute best mother of the bride dress there was. She is the hardest working, most loving, and giving person I know. I wanted her to have whatever she wanted. And just when I thought Marylu and Ferri Formals met their match in my amazing but very particular mom, they hit that out of the park too by simply thinking out of the box. I could not have asked for a better team and experience. My wedding planning has been very easy and stress-less and that is large in part due to Marylu and her team at Ferri Formals. I would never go anywhere else.❤️❤️❤️

I loved working with Ferri. Their shop looks small when you first walk in, but then you see the upstairs and downstairs and the amount of beautiful gowns is shocking. It was so hard to pick which gowns I even wanted to try on, so I ended up trying A LOT on. The staff was welcoming and very helpful with assisting me into the gown. Once I decided on my dress, they placed the order and kept in contact with me regarding the status of the gown. My first fitting went well, I enjoyed working the seamstress and she made my gown fit amazing. I didn't think it was even possible to make the alterations that she did. I ended up with a strapless dress, which was the one thing I swore I wouldn't get because I didn't want to be pulling it up all night, and I didn't have the adjust the dress even once during the entire day. I'd definitely recommend using Ferri for your gown and alterations. The price of my gown and veil was reasonable, definitely within my budget. Be sure to make an appointment with them before going in to try on dresses so that they can give you one-on-one attention and really help you find the dress of your dreams!

Ferri Formal did such a great job helping me with my search for the perfect wedding gown! I found it within minutes of walking through the door. Everyone there is so helpful and genuinely interested in your wedding day details. My groom and his groomsmen also got there tuxes done there and they were perfect as well. I purchased a LOVELY Christina Wu gown from here. It was gorgeous and unique. Their prices are actually very reasonable andoubt their dress selection is pretty on point. All the ladies here were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The seamstress was such a miracle worker with my dress.the shop is clean, elegant, very well put together. Marylu and her mom Leena (seamstress) went SO above and beyond to make my wedding dress everything I could have ever wanted and so much more. I bought my dress from in the store looking one way, and they helped me completely reconstruct it to look EXACTLY how I imagined it to look for my wedding day. Leena spent so much time going out of her way, coming in early and staying late to make sure all of my alterations were exactly how I wanted them, and Marylu was always available to answer any questions I had. She even put my dress in the car for me when I picked it up before my wedding. I have received ENDLESS compliments on my dress, and I absolutely felt the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life wearing it thanks to the team at Ferri's. I would continue to highly recommend them to anyone. Hopefully I find some event to work with you ladies again!!

As soon as I walked into Ferri's, I knew I was in the right place. We were greeted right away, and immediately shown every floor of the shop. Our consultant did an amazing job keeping dresses within my budget, and of course she was the one to pull the dress that I ended up saying yes to! I felt incredibly comfortable there, and not pressured in the slightest to go with anything extra. I would recommend Ferri's to anyone!

from the moment we walked in to Ferri Formals, we were greeted by the friendly staff, and were made to feel right at home!! We were given the basement dressing room to accommodate my family who came with me to try on dresses, and were provided the help of several staff who made sure that we had everything that we needed. Needless to say, I found my dream dress, and couldnt be happier!!

We purchased my daughter's bridal gown and my MOB gown and our experience was very positive. The bridal dress was ordered and came in on a timely basis. The workers were always friendly and accommodating and I would definitely go back.

I had a fantastic experience finding my wedding dress at Ferri's! I called up on a Saturday very last minute with my mother and they said to come right in. We received very professional advice and honest opinions from our consultant! She was also very patient and allowed me to go on all 3 floors to look at gowns until I found the right one! I also had a wonderful experience when I brought my sister in to look at matron of honor dresses as well. Overall 5 stars!

If you are a plus size bride-- you must go to Ferri formal!!!!! I was dreading the whole process of shopping for a dress and I went to Ferri and was amazed to see that they have an entire room full of plus size gowns!!! I am a size 24 and was able to try on at least 8 dresses- which is huge compared to every where else! Jacobi (not sure of the spelling) helped me and was very nice and honest and made me feel soooo comfortable. I really cannot say enough good things about my experience. Instead of leaving in tears I left with a dress!!!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for not making me feel like a plus size bride but a BRIDE!

Dress consultation and fitting was effortless. The seamstress worked with me to design and create sleeves for my strapless dress. Pricing was reasonable and they had a very large selection. You receive undivided attention in your own private suite during your appointment.

Thank you to Ferri Formals for making my experience a very special one. Everything from finding my gown to my brides maids to grooms men to mother of the bride and some of my friends coming there for dresses for the wedding, Everyone had a great experience. If your looking for a place that has amazing dresses great service very professional with a touch of feeling like family this is the place. Not only are your choices a wide variety of all styles but the high quality selections and custom fittings make you feel like a princess. I had a vision of my dream wedding dress, a princess ball gown. I tried on about 7 princess dresses and decided that it was not the most flattering for my body type. Patty, the Ferri's store manager was helping me. She started pulling an assortment of dresses that I didn't initially pick. In her choices was my dream dress! Somehow Patty knew what I wanted before I did. I didn't want to buy the dress at the first store that I looked at. I went to Somthing Bleu, Angela's, The Bridal Gallery by Yvonne, Jocelyns and Apropo. Although many of the stores were nice, no other staff was as attentive and helpful as they are at Ferri's. My mom also bough her dress at Ferri's.

The entire process was seamless from shopping, buying the dress and the fittings. Patty is fabulous and my experience at Ferri's was exceptional.

I had been searching designers from the UAE to NYC to LA for a gown when I found two contenders by two different designers. Ferri Formals happened to carry both! I had asked to be measured and see a swatch of each since they didn't carry the particular styles in stock. They were super helpful, even special ordered each gown in my size so I could try them on!!!

I was so incredibly happy with the service and selection of dresses Ferri Formals had to offer. I worked with Celeste and she understood what I was looking for, but also suggested dresses she thought would look good on my frame. I ended up selecting Celeste's pick, a gorgeous Enzoani Dabra ball gown. Between the dress, veil, accessories and alterations, everyone at Ferri Formals made me feel special and helped me find the perfect look for my wedding day! From start to finish, I could not be happier with Ferri Formals. My mom and I made an appointment for an evening after work to try on some dresses ... 2.5 hours later I thought I found the one. Celeste was fantastic to work with when trying on dresses in the private room upstairs. She payed attention to my budget and didn't allow me to select a dress too soon (the dress I ended up with was the fifth dress I tried on of about 20!). She allowed me to take time and really see how different shapes, styles and materials fit my body and my personality. I did not feel pressure to purchase right away. They told me to sleep on it and see how I felt the next day ... I went the next day and ordered! My dress arrived in two months and they told me to come in and try it on even though it wasn't time for alterations. I did and selected my veil in that same appointment. Alterations went flawlessly, largely because the dress fit me nearly perfectly (thanks to excellent measurements and suggestions on size). All I needed was a hem, bustle and cups. When I went to my final fitting, the dress was perfect. I arranged to pick up the dress and veil the day before my wedding and they were both steamed and ready to wear. I highly recommend Ferri Formals not only for their reasonably priced dresses (the dress was half of what I planned to spend on a dress!), but for their fantastic customer service. I felt like I was part of the family there - always so friendly and kind.

I knew as soon as I walked in the door at Ferri Formals and Bridals that I was going to get the kind of service I was looking for in order to find a wedding dress for my big day. They were very welcoming and attentive immediately and knew all the necessary questions to ask so that we could both be on the same page as far as style, size, and price go. Even though I shared the dressing rooms with one other bride, who ironically found her wedding dress at the exact same time as me, Ferri Formals and Bridals still managed to make my wedding dress shopping experience as memorable and comfortable as possible and after trying on about ten of their dresses I found the right one for me! As opposed to the fifteen dresses I tried on at Davids Bridal where I had close to zero help with getting the dresses on and half of them were too large on me to even remotely see what they might look like on my wedding day...Anyway, I cannot thank Ferri Formals and Bridals enough for helping me find my perfect wedding dress, which happened to be the last one left, discontinued, near exact to my size, and fifty percent off. The famous words for that day were that "if that's not fate, who knows what is!"

They are organized, stay in constant communication with you, and will bend over backwards to make your day perfect. Let me start by saying that I had never planned my dream wedding dress. When it came time to tackle the dress shopping, Ferri Formals ended up being first on my list. It was close to my work, and several teachers I worked with recommended it. I could not have picked a better place. It was the first and only place I ended up going. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous. I did bring an entourage (three bridesmaids and my mother) and was given the top floor to try on dresses. Not only was I allowed to pick my own choices, the woman I worked with was knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for my body type. I am curvy, so having her choose dresses I wouldn't have picked for myself helped me build a perspective of what I wanted to wear. The third dress I tried on was the one. I felt like a princess.
After the initial meeting, I had two more fittings and alterations done in-house. The price was reasonable if you know what to expect. It's not Kleinfelds, but it's not David's Bridal either, so expect to pay a little more. Every cent is worth it, however. I have gotten more compliments on my dress, veil and head piece than I ever expected. Ferri Formals was one of the best experiences I had throughout the entire process, and I would gladly work with them again in the future.

I went to Ferri just to look and within two hours found my dress. The owner took care of myself and my mom and she was wonderful. I trusted her to pull dresses she thought would work best on my body as well as myself and I found the perfect dress for my day. The alterations went well as the bottom of the dress needed to be cut shorter but it was a pleasure buying my dress and my MOH's dress from them.

They have the best selection of bridal gowns and top notch service. Patty was wonderful to work with. The entire staff was friendly and very complimentary. I had my alterations done here as well and they turned out great. I would highly recommend shopping for your dress here.

I always swore that if I met my Mr. Right and got married I would only go to Ferri Formals. I bought my bridesmaid's gown there when my sister was getting married and thought even then that they had the very best selection of bridal wear that I'd seen in one store. If you can't find what you want in their amazing collection, they will order what they do not carry. They also have a great sales rack. (The entire selection of bridal gowns on the first floor is on sale). And for those who are Vera devotees, they are the only store in the area that carries Ms. Wang. (There is a separate "Vera-only floor" on site.)

When it came time to find my wedding gown, I went straight to Ferri Formals. The wonderful staff (each of whom is fantastic; they have all studied fashion and know what they are talking about), the manager, Patty, and owner, Mary Lou, are so fabulous, helpful and kind. They remembered us from six years ago when we were last there for bridesmaids dresses and treated us like family!

I could not have been happier with my gown and veil. They were exactly what I wanted. That being said, I needed some major alterations since my gown came in a much larger size than I wear. That's where the seamstresses/wizards came in. The last time we were there they did an unbelievably terrific job on my sister's bridesmaid's dress. But what they did with my gown really was nothing short of magic. It fit me perfectly and my wonderful seamstress, Gilma, had transformed it into the gown of my dreams. She worked tirelessly to ensure that I was comfortable in the gown and could move around easily, despite its very complicated design.

Ladies, I'm telling you right now - don't waste your time going anywhere else for your dress. Ferri Formals is the fairest of them all (both in the quality of the gowns, excellence of the service and what you get for your money). I am extremely satisfied with every aspect of my experience with them and give them the highest possible recommendation.

They made me feel great about my dress. When I went in to try on dresses they were so kind and let me take my time even when the shop had closed. They didn't rush me at all. The staff was amazing.

The service was terrific at Ferri. In addition to my bridal gown, we rented our tuxes, bridesmaids dresses, and mother of the bride and mother of the groom dresses. We worked mostly with Erin who was fabulous but we also had good experiences with everyone else, including Celeste who picked out my gown for me. They were patient and fun to work with. My only criticism is that my dress could have been ironed better for my wedding day. Other than that I recommend Ferri to every bride.

I bought my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and my mothers dress at Ferri Formal. Their selection of dresses is overwhelming! I can honestly not say enough wonderful things about the staff at Ferri Formal. Never in my dreams did I think I would be able to afford a Vera Wang wedding dress. But with their special sample sale, I was able to get one that I LOVED for 75% off!

Soon after the wedding dress was bought, we made another appointment to come back to get my mom and girls dresses. What meant the most was how attentive and wonderful they were with my mother! It was exactly the attention that she deserved to have as it is such a big day for her as well. Once each girl was ordering the dresses, we were starving. One of the other staff members started calling local restaurant places to see if we could get a reservation! Really over the top service!

They were wonderful, patient and so kind! Our dresses came in on time and without a problem!
