Evergreen(and Danielle and Brooke) were wonderful. Our wedding was the Sunday that Hurricane Sandy hit, so of course the original plan of an outdoor wedding was not possible. They moved the wedding inside that morning, chairs where the ceremony was were moved out of the room ten minutes after we were out of the room that that they could open it up for our photobooth and extra space for the reception, the reception was decorated beautifully, Danielle was there to help with anything and everything, but wasn't controlling or overbearing, and she made it all run very smoothly. The venue is beautiful inside and out and has a historic building on site that made for amazing pictures(unfortunately it was not the backdrop to our wedding, but it would have been without mother nature getting in the way) as well as a newer clubhouse set on a golf course with great, huge locker rooms to get ready in. The venue was spectacular. They were very flexible in changing the menu to accommodate our vision for the reception. They also have the option to have a rehearsal dinner in the club house, but in a different room than the reception or wedding, but we didn't use that option. Evergreen was spectacular and I could not be happier with our choice for the wedding

We loved every bit of working with Evergreen Country Club for our wedding and we could not have asked for a more perfect day. We selected Evergreen for the location, value, experience, and overall friendliness. After viewing several venues we knew this was the one. We booked Evergreen over a year in advance due to our wedding being in June but they were very helpful from the very beginning with all of the planning and details. Brooke and Karen were very responsive to e-mails about even the smallest items. A couple of months before the wedding we were reminded about setting up a tasting. It was at this time that we finally met Karen face to face and my groom and I as well as both of our parents were blow away with her organization and experience. The tasting went really well and everyone loved the food even with some picky eaters. After the tasting, we decided to hire Karen as our wedding coordinator and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made.

Karen was amazing the weeks leading up the wedding when we often exchanged several e-mails a day regarding the wedding. Karen was there on the rehearsal day to walk us through everything and making sure everything was taken care of for the wedding day. She had even contacted all of our vendors to confirm the details for the next day and she was very patient with some of our more difficult vendors. She was amazing and we left feeling like everything was in great hands for the next day. On the wedding day Karen was there the moment we arrived and was there whenever we needed. She was able to keep everyone calm and on track through the day. If anything did go wrong on our wedding day, we were completely unaware because it was taken care of before it was noticeable. Karen made a special point to speak with each of our parents during the reception to make sure they were happy and to make sure they did not need anything. We thought this was very thoughtful and showed her attention to detail. Karen and Evergreen Country Club exceeded our expectations and we could not have asked for a better venue or coordinator. To summarize, I think my dad said it best to me at the end of the night: "Karen is worth her weight in gold." I could not agree more and we highly recommend Evergreen Country Club.

We chose Evergreen Country Club for our recent wedding after attending a friend’s wedding there, and being impressed with the setting, the organization and the catering. We could not have been more pleased with our choice!
The wedding ceremony took place outdoors in a romantic location overlooking the Bull Run Mountains. The reception was in the lovely club house. Our photographer took advantage of the historic mansion house and the balcony of the club house (overlooking the golf course and lake) as backgrounds for the formal photos.
Evergreen’s wedding coordinators, Karen and Brooke, were a pleasure to work with, from planning the occasion, through the rehearsal, to the Big Day. They have helpful lists of recommended vendors, and they worked with us to create an occasion which satisfied our every wish. Karen and her team proved exceptionally flexible on the day, adapting the location to the weather, moving it under the shade of some trees because of the excessive heat – and were prepared to move it inside if necessary. We had no hesitation in leaving Karen to take care of the arrival of the florist, the wedding cake, the musicians, the photographer, the videographer, and the ushers while we got ourselves ready.
Evergreen has its own catering staff, and offer a variety of food and drink packages. Our only problem was choosing a manageable selection from all the mouth-watering array of hors d’ouevres and entrees they offered! Our guests were as delighted as we were with the delicious dishes we selected.
The entire occasion exceeded our (already high) expectations, and we are so grateful to Evergreen for making our special day truly memorable.

Had a fabulous wedding at Evergreen Country Club. Brooke and Karen were a great help on the big day. They set up the tables exactly like we had asked them too and were always present in the dinning room making sure everything was running smoothly. The food was excellent (choice of filet Mignon, crab cakes, or vegetarian). Only one small issue with the open bar that was resolved quickly by the staff. Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our wedding reception and would not have changed anything, other then maybe the really hot 90+ degree weather!

As a mother who has planned several weddings, our experience at Evergreen could not have been better. Brooke and Karen as well as the staff and chef at Evergreen made the wedding planning stress free and actually fun and every question we asked was answered promptly. On the wedding day, their professionalism and attention to every detail - from table placement, to flower arrangement placement, food and service- was impeccable. The venue is lovely, well kept and relaxing. We received many compliments about the food, especially from guests who were not expecting such generous and delectable crab cakes! Overall, there is nothing I would have changed.

Evergreen was the perfect place for our wedding. The location is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. Brooke and Karen made the day so smooth and it went off without any issues!

Karen and Brooke did a wonderful job with our wedding. Everyone enjoyed themselves and we had lots of great compliments on the venue, food and staff. Karen stayed on top of everything through out the entire night and made sure we had what we wanted and needed.

Evergreen was a wonderful setting for our daughter's wedding. I have had prior events there and once again they have undone themselves.

I have no complaints about Evergreen. Everyone was very helpful, they always told us what was going on and what we needed to do. Everything was on time. Food was delicious, the wait staff was friendly and always helpful. I am still getting compliments on how great of a time everyone had.

We worked with Brooke at Evergreen and we couldn't have been more pleased with the way everything turned out. Brooke held out until the last possible minute before regrettfully moving our ceremony inside due to rain, and she made sure that our ceremony was just as beautiful and intimate indoors as it would've been outdoors. Evergreen allowed us to come in very early and get ready and relax in the ladies lounge rather than doing all the prep work elsewhere. Brooke also acted as our coordinator in making sure things were done in the right order and that there was no stress put on us. My husband had a blast golfing with his friends and family the day of the rehearsal and Brooke made sure we all knew what we were doing. Evergreen is a beautiful location and my only regret is that the rain prevented us from taking pictures on their beautiful golf course. I would absolutely recommend Evergreen to anyone looking to get married outdoors (or indoors) with a beautiful mountain backdrop.

wow! evergreen was awesome! i cannot say enough great things about this place...they had both weather contingency plans set up right until the ceremony (since rain was threatening), had all items i dropped off at rehearsal already set up the day of the wedding, pinned boutonnieres, directed people traffic, passed hor d'oerves to the bridal party during pictures, etc. brooke edwards is fantastic as their director of events and her nightshift event manager (brenda) was equally great. the staff was helpful, friendly, accommodating, and professional.

here's the best part - the food was AWESOME! wedding food has a bad reputation as mass-produced and 'blah-tasting' but our food was fantastic and everyone complimented on it. all in all, the day was fantastic. no problems that i know about, everything was perfect and Evergreen was a huge part of that. thanks brooke and brenda :)

We booked Evergreen Country Club for our ceremony and reception. The venue has a beautiful setting at the base of the mountains with a nice historic house onsite.

The best part of this venue is their coordinator, Brooke. She was always there to lend suggestions, or recommend something. We hired her for the day of coordination and she made everything run smoothly.

I'd recommend Evergreen Country Club, and Brooke, if you are looking for a great wedding venue!

I couldn't be happier with Evergreen and Brooke, the coordinator! I searched high and low for a venue that would suit all of our needs and Evergreen had all of it and more, and for the best value! All of my family and friends were so impressed with the venue and the amenities that came along with it. My wedding was better than I ever dreamed it would be! Evergreen is willing to work with you in anyway that you need! They even provide centerpieces! This is a money saving venue but it seems as if no expense was spared! You also can't beat the AMAZING scenery with the mountains in the background and the beautiful ivy covered stone walls - just gorgeous!
