Eric is simply phenomenal, he's very personable & does a great job of building rapport & getting to know his clients. He provides planning tools & software to help keep you organized & plan your day from ceremony to reception. My husband and I enjoyed all of our video chats with Eric, he is funny & knowledgeable of the wedding industry & seriously entertaining! Everyone at our wedding couldn't get enough of him, he kept us dancing & made sure to play my favorite songs as planned. The Best Day

Eric made our special day the party we wanted and more! The preparation and time he took into making our wedding the best day was unlike any DJ I've met before. I was fortunate enough to experience Eric's DJ style at a family members wedding, and five years later I knew he should be my first call to book entertainment for our big day. When booking with Eric my number one requirement was I wanted a wedding where everyone was out on the dance floor until the end of the night, and he delivered. He was a great decision for our wedding, and I know he will equally pass his skills to the next happy couple.

Eric is just fantastic, and everyone in need of a DJ should hire him. We knew immediately during our first video call with him that he was our guy!

The care and attention to detail Eric provides to curate a spectacular event is unmatched. Finding a DJ is not just about playing the music, it’s about somebody that can entertain your guests throughout the entire day, seamlessly transitioning from one moment to the next and ensuring the guests are properly entertained and moved with emotions. Eric provided all of these things and more for us and we are so grateful.

Our Wedding Day ran so smoothly, largely in part to Eric being on top of it the whole day! You’ll see reviews about his signature Love Story Recording he does for couples, and let me tell you…that was amazing. Eric is fun to work with, easy to laugh with, and I can’t even begin to explain how many of our guests keep telling us how wonderful he was. Everyone was on the dance floor!

Eric was such an amazing DJ! We got so many questions and compliments about the music at our wedding. The music was amazing, from one song to the next, we never wanted to get off the dance floor, and neither did our guests! Eric even did the Wobble with us! Eric adding our Love Story into our day was the perfect touch. It really helped share our story with our friends and family in such a special way, and it left little surprises for us throughout the night. It was such a unique way to personalize the experience and share our story.

Friendly, dependable, fun vibe DJ

With planning an out of state wedding, we wanted to hire a person that could provide ceremony sound and music throughout our entire reception to simplify the process for us. Eric's personality quickly stood out to us and we reached out for a consultation. From the consultation to the last song of our reception, we knew we were in great hands. He dialed into all virtual planning meeting ready with an agenda to make the calls productive and stress-free. Fast forward to our wedding day, ceremony sound went perfectly (only the songs we requested) and reception playlists were what we were looking for. Eric followed our timeline but also was adaptable if something changed. He was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend Eric if you are looking for someone who will listen to your music requests (actually play them) but also put his own personal twist on the reception to make your wedding unique. We look forward to listening to our open dancing playlist for years to come to remember such a wonderful, fun evening celebrating our wedding day!

Best DJ Ever!!

I had Eric as a 6th grade teacher where I also became friends with my best man so it just made perfect sense to book him as our wedding DJ. He kept the guests on the dance floor all night and he pretty much doubles as a wedding planner since he plans details down to the minute. He has a cool twist called the love story where he has both the bride and groom record a session without each other about how the two of you fell in love and came to be, never seen anything like it at a wedding before. I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ

The perfect addition to our wedding

Fun, memorable evening!

Highly Recommended Wedding Entertainment Director

Eric seriously knows how to make your wedding day special. He exceeded our expectations by adding so many personal touches of love and laughter. We had an awesome time talking to him during every planning session and could tell he cared about helping to make our wedding amazing. He went above and beyond to layout our timeline; provide resources for music selection and speeches, etc.; learn about our family, wedding party, and guests; and learn about what makes us the couple we are. His music selection kept the guests entertained and dancing and we all had a great time. If you’re trying to turn your wedding reception into a dance party that no one wants to leave, with the perfect vibe, then Eric is the DJ for you!! He breaks music down to a science, science of beats and rhythms. He cares so much about his work and is one of the most passionate and professional DJs you can have! He picks all the perfect moments to fit in the slower songs that every wedding needs but does not shy away from the really up beat fun songs. On the night of our wedding, Eric and his partner were the life of the party!

Eric's professionalism and experience was a great asset as well! On a day when there's so many moving parts and anything can go wrong, you need to surround yourself with people that are prepared for anything. There were so many small details that we couldn't have possibly thought of, but Eric had us covered 100%! Eric is better than anyone else you're considering

Eric literally took a rude silly joke I made - that had no place at a wedding - and made it work for me. I can't even explain the level of professionalism it takes to pull off what he did to inject my sense of humor into a formal event like a wedding. Eric was such a unique DJ: the best part of his services
is the Love Story; Eric individually interviewed my husband
and I about how we met, when we fell in love, and why
we are meant to be together- he created a mash up and played it during the reception, and up until that moment we had not heard each other's responses. It was special for
our guests and very emotional for us hearing each others answers to the questions he asked. It was so romantic! Wedding went smoothly due to Eric and Sergio

This is an incredible company. Eric planned our entire event in the meetings we had prior to the day, including a meeting with the vendor. I was able to easily add the songs I wanted through their website. Eric was also very responsive to our questions, even prior to being hired.

Eric and Sergio were on top of the music during the ceremony, and added a sophisticated touch throughout the entire event, including the toasts when they announced the speakers. They juggled the music very well as we had a combination on Indian, American, and Jewish music. They also handled the transitions between events well (for example, from the toasts to the performance, and so on). They were very professional and friendly, and worked with guests and other vendors. I can't recommend them enough!

Eric is everything you want and more!

All I can say at the end of my wedding day was WOW! Eric went completely above and beyond to make our day special. He played all the songs we requested and his personal touches to the ceremony had the whole wedding talking! He was with us every single step of the way and made my now husband and I feel so comfortable, at ease and excited for our wedding!! If you are on the fence, don't be - HIRE HIM! You will not regret it at all - he will make your day exactly as you want it. He even came to our rehearsal to be sure that he was on the same page with everything for the next day!! Eric is a true professional. I was immeasurably impressed with his approach, structure, flexibility as well as his personal touch. We interviewed 4-5 DJ groups and Eric's approach stood out immediately. His prices are competitive, but what isn't reflected in his price is the added attention and care that he exerts to ensure 110% satisfaction in his execution on the 'day of event'. He not only provided the entertainment within the reception, but the audio for the ceremony. Every detail was cared for in his preparation and the final product. So many of our guests commented to us during and after the event that the music, the moments and the narratives were incredible.

We recommend Eric without any qualifications to do your event.

Eric is a family favorite for us--he was the DJ for my cousin and sister's weddings! He made not only planning our music easy and fun, but planning the entire wedding process fun. We loved doing the recordings and laughing with Eric while doing them. He remained professional throughout the entire process and was there every step of the way. He helped to keep everyone organized and on it during the rehearsal and day of. Our guests are still raving about how fun our reception was and we owe that to Eric. He took the time to get to know my (now) husband and I through multiple interviews, and we were confident that he knew exactly what we were expecting. He was one of our favorite vendors to work with, and we would not have changed one thing about his work. Many of our guests pleasantly commented on the "Love Story", and how they admired the "extra touch" he put in to entertaining everyone.
We felt like we had a formed a special bond and friendship with Eric, that by the time of our wedding, he felt like one of our guests.
We highly recommend Eric for a unique and personable experience. You will not be disappointed. He will create something you didn't think could exist.

I met Eric at a wedding expo a year before my wedding. After our initial conversation, I knew that he had to be our DJ. He has such an upbeat and personable personality and really cares about his clients. My husband and I had multiple meetings with Eric before the event, so all music selections and details were perfect. If we had moments of being indecisive or didn't know the answer to a question, Eric was patient and helped us through. While his music selections were on point, his personal touches are what really stole the show. Some of our favorite moments from the wedding are moments that Eric had orchestrated. He had our guests laughing, dancing, and having a great time. I had multiple guests come to tell me that Eric was one of the best DJs they've encountered. Eric was absolutely fantastic. He had everything organized online so I could go and fill out details as I had time and could think of things I wanted. He is very responsive to emails in a timely manner. The skype sessions were great too so we could talk through timeline and make sure everything made sense. The fact that he came to the rehearsal was a huge help, Eric is extremely knowledgeable in making weddings run with ease. All of my guests and family said that he was the best DJ they had ever had at a wedding. There was not a single moment the dance floor was not packed. I would recommend him over and over again to anyone who wants to have a wedding with dancing that never stops!

Eric is one of the best things that could have happened to the planning of my wedding! Whatever you do, book this man as your DJ! He helped me plan the entire wedding ceremony and reception - I did have a wedding coordinator, but when it came time for the rehearsal, Eric made everyone feel so confident and well prepared, especially me! I only had a three month engagement and didn't book Eric until two months out - he was incredibly organized, friendly, and did everything within his power to make our day so very special! Eric is a family man and understands the importance of family and is very sensitive to the Bride and Groom's needs in every aspect of planning a wedding. Eric offers so much more than any other DJ I had spoken with. The little things he does to go the extra mile and add personal and intimate touches to the wedding blew my mind. My guests were astounded. Everyone I've spoken with after my wedding has told me our wedding was the most incredible wedding they had attended. Eric has so many talents to share you cannot miss out on the opportunity to work with him! He deserves 10,00 stars!

Eric Herod Entertainment really helped make our wedding memorable!! We LOVED working with Eric! He was flexible with our schedule, made sure we always had what we needed, was extremely professional while still building a relationship with us. Eric was essential in helping us plan some of the big details in our wedding that we didn't even think of! Day of he was on time (even early I think) was quick to get set up and even checking in to see if we needed any help! Our venue had a challenge of how many cords we could have in certain areas because of fire safety hazards and Eric made each situation work perfectly! I promise hiring Eric will only make your big day better!

You will be SO glad you chose Eric for your wedding entertainment!!! Not only was he the best DJ, but he was the best out of all our other vendors. Unfortunately, we experienced a lot of difficulty and poor customer service with some of our other big vendors so it was refreshing to have Eric care so much about our day and be sure he was reaching out to us regularly with any information or tasks we needed to complete on a timeline. He was very organized and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning. He answered any questions or concerns we had promptly and always reassured us he had everything under control. We also really enjoyed the option to have our meetings via Skype to accommodate our busy schedules. He also uses a planning portal which makes it really easy to input your ideas & details for every possible thing you can think of. He really covers all the bases!! As Eric was not available for our date, we used Fred Donahoe for our wedding services. I had the initial consultation with Eric, who asked all the right questions and made me feel at ease choosing EHE for our wedding. There was some miscommunication on my part for the meetings with Fred (I didn't realize they were just Skype meetings, not in person, whoops!), but once we did have our meetings, it was clear that Fred was the best choice for us. He understood our vision and flow for the day, and was able to curate a playlist based on our preferences. He was very professional during the ceremony and reception, and our guests had a great time. He was just the right amount of involved. He kept in touch with us throughout the evening, but not too much. He definitely helped our reception go smoothly! I would definitely recommend Fred to anyone looking for a wedding DJ.

Both Eric and Fred where amazing with planning the music for our reception. Eric has a few DJs in his company and Fred Donahoe was mine. He was wonderful! We sat and chatted about the mind of music I wanted, the feel we were going with for the reception, and the special songs I wanted for the various dances. We went over a timeline and he took care of everything! I’m didn’t have to worry about when and what he guided us through the entire evening. We truly had an amazing stress free time!

I can’t say enough about how great Eric was at our wedding. The best way to describe it is that he was so much more than just a DJ! There are two pieces that really made him stand out from what I’ve seen at previous weddings.
First, he was an essential part of the whole planning process. In our first meeting he helped us set up a schedule for the wedding day and gave us great suggestions for how to order events to make everything work most effectively. He also came to the rehearsal and helped organize everything. I felt completely confident in leaving things in his hands during the wedding day and he absolutely came through.
The second thing that set him apart was the personalization he brought to our wedding. He offered a message to my dad while I walked down the aisle, personalized bridal party entrances and, a love story during the reception. Prior to the wedding I was a little nervous that these personalized pieces would come off as cheesy but they were AMAZING! The message to my dad brought everyone to tears. My husband and I absolutely loved the jokes that he wrote about our bridal party for the entrances – they were so good that our bridal party actually thought we wrote them! Finally, the love story was the story of how we met and fell in love using recordings Eric got from my husband and I separately. Not only was it a great thing to have at the wedding, it was really fun to talk to Eric about husband and our history prior to our wedding.
Eric made us feel very comfortable the whole way. During our meetings we had a great time and my husband said that these meetings were his favorite parts of wedding planning. He had great ideas that helped make the guests feel welcome. On top of all these other great things he was a really fantastic DJ! At the end of the night I had so many people tell me how great Eric was and we had the dance floor full the whole time. Eric provides a great value and I would recommend him highly to anyone planning a wedding!

We knew from the day we got engaged that we wanted our wedding to be a PARTY - one that our friends and family would remember as the most fun they've had in a long, long time for many years to come. That's exactly what we got and I didn't realize until after our wedding what a crucial part the DJ played in that experience - and specifically, Eric.

Eric kept our dance floor full all night and led the most epic "Wobble" I've ever seen (the man's got moves). I didn't expect to dance much at my own wedding between the mingling and conversations with long lost relatives, but my husband and I ended up spending almost the entire night on the dance floor with our guests.

The "love story" was the most amazing thing I've ever seen done at ANY wedding and I'm so glad it was at ours! I had no idea what to expect, but Eric put together the most tasteful, hilarious, tug-at-your-heart-strings rendition of how we met through our engagement that I didn't want it to end. Our guests were captivated through the entire story and Eric even videotaped it for us so we can experience it again and again (which I cannot WAIT to receive by the way!).

Eric went above and beyond in every way and was the perfect mixture of fun, unique, personal and professional. He was incredibly responsive throughout the entire planning process and offered direction anywhere we needed it, all while sculpting our reception based on his past experiences and successes. He even gave us helpful materials for those giving speeches and offered to direct our rehearsal.

Eric played a colossal role in making our ceremony and reception everything we had hoped for and more. I received many compliments specifically on our DJ and our reception pictures are wonderful thanks to the packed dance floor and smiling faces. A huge thanks to Eric for making our celebration unique, personal and a total blast!

Eric was the highlight of our wedding vendors. We met twice for planning, both were absolutely helpful and well organized. He even was present at our rehearsal which put me 100% at ease. We went through the whole time line and he took the time to personalize our entire day from telling our love story, to our wedding party introductions. My husband and I had given him a short description of each person, memories that we had with them and who they were to us, and he put the perfect music to each persons introduction. It was almost like he knew who they were! Our love story was beautiful, and it is something all of our guests mentioned they had never seen done before. He added little things during the reception to keep people entertained and interested in what was going on. From little games to keep people occupied while they waited to get their plates to gathering all of our guests out not he dance floor for a photo op with everyone! Eric made our day just that, ours. I would recommend him to anyone! One of the nicest people we met while planning our wedding!

Eric was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. He is not a DJ he is a Wedding Entertainer Director - He literally planned my wedding for me. Eric established a timeline of events for my reception that he sent to my other vendors before the wedding, on the day of the wedding he executed the discussed timeline seamlessly, and throughout the wedding planning processes gave such great advise that truly helped my husband and I immensely. All of my guest and even my other hired vendors commented on how great Eric was- professional people who have literally seen more weddings than the average person stated that Eric was the best DJ they have ever seen ! He knows his music, what works for a wedding, and how to read a crowd better than I have ever seen at any wedding I have attended. You can not have a fantastic wedding if you do not hire Eric!!

Eric is awesome! He made our wedding fun and full of energy and was a joy to work with every step of the way. Prior to the event, the planning process was great - from the one on one meetings to discuss our expectations to the website that we were able to use to plan our event.
I had so many guests come up to me afterwards asking who he was stating that he was "the best dj they had ever seen". I also had many of my family members who claim to not dance come to the dance floor and cut a rug.

Eric Herod is simply amazing! Throughout the planning process he helped us to organize and plan the perfect ceremony and reception. He gave us ideas and helped us to create a unique, personalized experience; his introductions and the love story will always be a wonderful memory! The energy and environment he creates is upbeat, fun, and yet relaxed. He had everyone including my 92 year old grandmother dancing and having a grand time! He keeps the evening on schedule without being pushy, and without you really knowing he is doing it.

Eric is very professional and able to handle any situation. The night before our wedding the best man had a family emergency, and was not able to make it to the wedding. Eric handled the situation with grace, and no one ever knew that we shifted the bridal party. He was able to just move things around and make it work. He took the stress out of a high stress situation and we were able to relax and not worry.
I would highly recommend Eric to every bride and groom!

My husband and I have three children and planning for our big day was proving to be difficult. Eric was so flexible and accommodating with our busy schedule. He showed us his dedication and how much he truly cared about making our wedding the best that it could be. Eric has so much passion for his work and really enjoys what he does. We loved that about him. It made it so enjoyable to meet with him knowing that he really cared about our wedding and its success.

During the wedding the transitions between songs were flawless. He had all of our guests dancing young and old. By the end of the night everyone was commenting how great of a dj Eric is. They were all so impressed and amazed at his talent. Many people even told us it was the best wedding they had been to. I attribute that to eric.

He's not like your average dj. He not only dj'd but helped us to plan our event, he gave us invaluable information, he entertained and he told our guest our love story of how my husband and I came to be where we are today. I think the love story is biggest thing that makes eric stand out from others. It is something something so special and unique that will have you and your guest in tears. It is really difficult to describe how amazing eric is but without him our wedding would not have been as wonderful as it was.

Eric Herod is much more than a DJ. He completely manages the wedding flow and environment. If I was off blabbing with someone; he would patiently wait near me until he caught my eye giving me a gentle reminder to move onto the next event. He conveniently dictated events around our social interaction. IE..If we were having extreme fun in a moment, he had enough common sense to ride the wave and base activities off of the flow of our guests. All the while not trying to hijack the attention onto himself(which some DJ's like to do.)

He even provided personal assistance with out even being asked.

Hiring Eric Herod Entertainment turned out to be one of the best vendor decisions I made for my wedding. My guests raved for weeks about how incredible the entertainment was, the music, our love story, our bridal party entrance, and all of the fun dance activities throughout the whole reception! I really believe that Eric helped make our wedding that much more memorable. He is an incredibly thorough and organized DJ/Master of Ceremonies and you are in good hands with him. Eric was an AMAZING master of ceremonies. I could not have asked for better. He combined the perfect amount of romance with fun. Because of his skills my husband and I were able to enjoy romantic moments that went far beyond the cliche first dance and absolutely fun moments of crazy dancing and partying. Eric really made us feel like he truly cared about our story. He was amazing to work with and I recommend him to anyone I meet!

I feel that I am a tough critic when it comes to weddings and Eric went so far above and beyond all of my expectations! He was able to create moments of laughter, tears, and pure entertainment throughout the whole ceremony and reception. He even came out on the dance floor with the bridal party and led the crowd in current choreographed dances! He worked so well with the wedding coordinator, caterer, and photographer and kept everyone in line so things ran smoothly. I have been to quite a few weddings and Eric is hands-down the first and only DJ I would recommend for someone to hire. He is worth every penny!

Everyone at our wedding absolutely RAVED about Eric. He brought amazing energy and joy to our reception. Working with Eric was like working with a friend. He was amazing as he helped us plan our reception and work through what we wanted our reception to be like. The dance floor was packed through our entire reception and it was so evident that everyone was having a great time. We couldn't be more grateful to Eric for the wonderful job he did. It is weeks later and my husband and I are still hearing how wonderful our guests thought he was. Thank you Eric so much. Gene and I really can't express how wonderful you made our day. If you book Eric for your wedding or event, you will not be sorry. My husband and I just got married on June 16th, and Eric was our DJ. He was wonderful. In fact, we booked Eric as our DJ before we had booked our venue or officially picked our wedding date because we were so impressed by him and his personality when we met him at a bridal show at Belmont.

What makes Eric such a great DJ is that he really gets to know you before the event. He gets to know the couple, their love story, their personalities, their musical likes/dislikes, and their personal styles, and he pulls all of that information together in order to create an entertainment masterpiece at your event. Several times throughout the evening, Eric would play a song perfectly suited to my tastes that I had never even told him I loved. He's like a walking Pandora that just KNOWS what you'd love to hear.

He keeps the whole crowd going. For the group interactive songs like the Cupid Shuffle, Eric actually gets out on the dance floor himself to lead the crowd and show them the dance moves. He also walks the guests through your love story as a couple. He combines the story that he's been given from the bride and the one given by the groom into one amazing, cohesive storyline.

I can honestly say that everyone had fun. We're still getting reports from friends and family that they heard people say that they had never had so much fun at a wedding reception before, and I know I owe it all to Eric.

He was just fantastic. Seriously, book him. You won't regret it.

We couldn't have found a better person to work with for our wedding. Eric kept us sane and calm through our entire planning process. He brought so much more to the table compared to just being a DJ, he honestly shouldn’t be called a DJ, he should definitely have a better title than that. He thought of details that we never did and made our ceremony and our reception so personal; there wasn’t a single guest that didn’t rave about the job that he did and how personal our entire day felt, men and woman we're all bawling during our ceremony with the special touches that he added and we all had a blast at our reception. He made our day so much more than we ever thought it could be. I would work with him a hundred times again and we gained a really good friend in the end as well!

Eric made our reception absolutely amazing. Everyone had fun and everyone was dancing the entire night. All of the ideas and "extras" he added to the reception were great and really made our celebration unique!

Eric was an amazing DJ! He took our wedding experience to a level that we did not know was possible. Besides his very high class look, Eric knew how to involve all ages of our wedding guests. There was never a dull moment during the reception! We chose to have him play our ceremony music as well, and it was all perfect. His professionalism is impressive, he arrived in a tuxedo and the class continued throughout the evening. I never felt out of the loop, Eric always gave me a 10 minute and 5 minute warning before something was about to happen. I am a very structured person, and on my wedding day I was beyond stressed and felt crazed--but Eric was able to reassure me that everything was alright and will continue to be perfect. Be sure to ask Eric about the Love Story, that was my husband's and I favorite part of our reception, it brought our love into the wedding even more. I am not trying to sound cliche, but if you do not have a great DJ, your wedding will be terrible. Eric is definitely the most responsible and fabulous DJ you could experience. If you choose Eric you do not have to worry about your reception, which on your wedding day--is a huge relief!

Eric was awesome! He is extremely well organized, and has great ideas for making the reception so different than the same old same old. I loved having the meetings prior to the wedding where we sat down and reviewed the details. I had not expected that from the DJ. The wedding was fantastic, and we had a lot of our guests comment that the DJ was great!!!

Eric Herod is the best dj ever! He is so much fun and helpful. He will help make your wedding exactly what you want it to be and more. He is amazing! I would highly recommend him to everyone I know. He will personalize your reception for you in so many ways. He helps to make your reception not like any other typical reception, he helps to make it your own. He listens to exactly what you want and does it for you even better than you could have ever hoped and dreamed. He is the reason our wedding reception was such a huge success. All we kept on hearing was "your all's dj was amazing!!" Definitely choose him to be your dj! He is great!

Eric did the best job! He took ALLOT of stress off of our sholders. He made sure that everything moved along smoothly. He involved everyone, even those that I thought wouldn't get up and dance. I can't list all of the compliments that we got on the ceremony and reception, but most of them are due to Eric's hard work. Eric helped us remember things that we would have never planned if we wasn't there to help. He was professional, while making all of the planning fun and kept the focus on making sure that everything was a reflection of my husband and I, our relationship and our personalities.

Eric Herod exceeded every expectation we had. His professionalism was above and beyond any wedding DJ we contacted. The ideas he had for the wedding reception were not only great, they were things we had never heard of; all of them were wonderful and well executed. He was the key to making our reception one that we will never forget and one that most of the people attending said was the best they have ever seen. Eric Herod made our reception one that is unforgettable! It was more than I could have ever imagined it being. Everyone raved about how our reception was the funnest they had been to, and how awesome Eric was, when we got back from our honeymoon. Looking back, I would not have changed anything about the way Eric conducted the schedule, the music, and himself. Not only is he a wonderful DJ for your choice, but he is also a wonderful person!! My husband and I absolutely LOVED working with him and getting to know him. People are still talking about it...

Our wedding was a blast. Eric helped us schedule our wedding from the moment the ceremony started to the grand exit. We met with him 3 times before the wedding and we communicated though email constantly. He came to and practically ran our rehersal. By the time our wedding came, we felt like Eric was one of our friends. He really took the time to get to know us and our families. On the day of the wedding, we didn't have to worried about anything. We just showed up and Eric told us where to be and what to do throughout the whole night. We are still recieving compliments from friends and family about his services. It was well worth the cost. You will not find a better DJ.

Within 10 minutes of sitting down with Eric, we knew that we were going to go with him. My husband (fiance at the time) and I both expressed this same feeling to each other after our first meeting with Eric. We are so happy that we did choose him to be our DJ at our wedding.

Eric is more than just a DJ - he is really a master of ceremonies. He created so many special moments during the night- including our "love story" in which he told the story of how the bride and groom met, the longevity dance in which couples married for different amounts of time got on the dance floor, and the dramatic exit when all the guests waved sparklers as we left. Eric was very attentive to photo opportunities, and he worked closely with the photographer to coordinate all these special pictures.

We met with Eric three times before the wedding. He was extremely thorough in going over all the different events that would occur during the reception, and helped us select the music for each of these events. He provided so many different resources- an excellent planning website, CDs with music, and his own extensive experience. Meetings with Eric were in fact really fun- he made me feel really excited about the reception, and all the fun things that me and my husband and family and guests had in store. I knew that was a great indication of the atmosphere he would bring to the wedding itself.

Although Eric cost more than we had initially budgeted for a DJ, after hearing Eric talk about his vision for our wedding, and receiving his booklet of information outlining all the different events that would occur during the reception, we knew we wanted him to be our DJ. And we believe that he was entirely worth the cost- the majority of time during a wedding is the reception time, so you really want someone who will confidently handle everything behind the scenes, so that you (the bride and groom) can enjoy your day. Eric was this person, because he planned out the whole night so well, got people dancing, and created a very personal reception.

So many people commented to us what a great DJ Eric was, not at all like the corny, loud image most people have of DJs. He really goes above and beyond to make sure that the bride and groom and the guests have a really wonderful time. Eric is also very classy and professional- he has excellent comic timing, especially when he introduced the members of the wedding party with humorous little comments about them.

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Eric. He is the DJ you want at your wedding, and we encourage all brides and grooms out there to go with him, just like we did!

Thank you for really making Ryen and Jereme’s wedding an event to remember. Disappointing as it was not to see everything you planned for the evening, everyone raved about our DJ. There was not one guest that didn’t personally comment on the personal touch of Ryen and David’s messages. Actually, many of the male guests were crying. I had guests say they haven’t cried that much at funerals. Way to go! Truly Eric, you are much more than a DJ, you turned their wedding into an event to remember. Thank you so very much.

Working with Eric Herod was a highlight for our wedding experience. His knowledge and skill of how to direct a reception made it a seamless and easy party for us. From our first conversation to him announcing us at the reception, Eric was exactly the guy we wanted both behind the scenes and interacting with our guests on the mic. He was super flexible and willing to work with us to create the exact day we wanted. He has a lot of unique ideas, enthusiasm, and passion for his craft. Eric did an absolute wonderful job at our wedding. If it weren't for him, our wedding wouldn't have been what it was. He did a great job mixing music for our different cultures. He had a wonderful charisma about him that could bring people out to do the dance floor. We could not have asked for a more wonderful DJ to be apart of our special day. Thanks Eric, you're the best!
P.S. The love story was phenomenal, it really gave everyone in the room an idea of what my husband and I's relationship was all about, and nearly brought me to tears.

Eric made my wedding so special. He took so much time to personalize everything. He added so many special touches to it all. For the ceremony he was there to help me pick music and was never without a song suggesting. For the reception he made is SO FUN! He kept us all laughing. I have gotten so many compliments from my guests about how great he was. Working with Eric was truly a pleasure. We were told by several people that our wedding was one of the best they had ever attended and a lot of that had to do with Eric. I have never seen so many people on the dance floor from my 20 month old nephew to my husband's 80+ year old grandmother. Everyone had a wonderful time.

Eric helped customize our reception to be a unique reflection of my huband and my personalities from our choreographed first dance, our one-of-a-kind garter/bouquet traditions, our Love Story, our bridal party roast, down to our last song. We couldn't have pulled off such a wonderful party without him. My father-in-law now wants to hold a yearly anniversary party and have Eric DJ every year! :)
