Best Wedding Ever!
ECCH is an awesome place to have a wedding! We got married on 10-13-19 and we worked with Richelle. She is so accommodating, and made sure everything was perfect! She is so awesome! Held the rehearsal party at Wisteria Lanes (SO much fun!) and had the wedding ceremony at Garden Overlook and reception at Silverbell Pavillion (SO pretty!). All the bartenders and staff (at Wisteria & Silverbell) were so great! The food was amazing, our guest were loving it! Our guests also said how much they loved staying at the hotel...the grounds are beautiful and the rooms and hotel inside was clean, and had a cozy feeling (great for pictures inside and out)! The hotel staff was also very nice and helpful! Overall, a fantastic wedding weekend experience! And also thank you again, Richelle! -

Wedding venue
We had the absolute best time touring this venue. Del had sold us by the end of the tour. Very flexible and a beautiful venue. We are so excited that we chose Emory. -

Del Meredith is the best!!!
I had wedding on June 9th 2018 and seriously Del made all things happen. He is quick and the way of his working is very efficient. And he would understand or notice things before you ask. I had a really great experience planning wedding with Del. He sure did relieve lots of stress coming with wedding plans. -

Our venue was one of the most important vendor relationships that we had. We spent more time with them than anyone. When we met Del we knew we hit the jackpot we booked them almost immediately after our first meeting. Then we met Jennifer, who was the biggest blessing of our wedding planning experience. There was never a time that she wasn't calm. She was very accommodating and she remembered every detail that we quickly forgot. If we were uncomfortable she noticed immediately and worked with us to find a solution that worked for us. She was easy to get in touch with and stayed in constant communication with us. The food was amazing! We also used Wisteria Lanes as our rehearsal dinner location it was all absolutely amazing! We couldn't have picked a better venue. We heard that this was a hidden gem and its absolutely true. The hotel staff was amazing and we felt very welcomed here! -

Del Meredith was our amazing Event Planner for my daughters wedding weekend October 28th, 2017.
Del was extremely accommodating, very calm and helped us plan the wedding weekend with all the trimmings from a Friday night welcome dinner at Wistria Lane, an indoor rain plan in The Starvine ballroom and the wonderful reception in The Silverbell Pavillion. The venue was perfect for our entire wedding weekend - It offered affordable and really beautiful accommodations for all our out of town guests, the Wisteria Lanes bowling , shuffle board and game room for the Friday night Welcome Dinner an outdoor courtyard for the ceremony and the Pavillion for the reception. We worked with Del Meredith who was really a pleasure to work with and did all he could to create the wedding weekend we had envisioned! The food was absolutely top class, -with several opportunities to have tastings and see the different ways the room can be set up! Del was extremely available to us during the planning and throughout the entire wedding weekend with a calm and collected demeanor making all efforts to please us and our over 60 out of town guests and 180 + wedding guests! Although the forecast of rain and cold weather threatened to put a 'damper' on our weekend, Del was not phased and put together a fantastic Plan B without any stress or agitation that proved to be perfect and turned out to be a perfect solution! I recommend a wedding or any other event at Emory Conference Center and give major kudos to Del Meredith ! -

The Emory conference center was the perfect place to have a wedding weekend full of events all in one space, especially if you have a lot of out of towners like we did! It made it convenient for everyone! The wedding weekend ran completely smoothly and that was attributed to Del Meredith at the Emory Conference center. It was an absolute pleasure working with him throughout the planning process. Del was attentive, organized and resourceful. On our wedding day, I knew I had absolutely nothing to stress about because Del and his team were on it. Every little detail, every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for more! I had my dream wedding, it was absolute perfection. I could not be happier with the job he did in helping us turn our vision into a reality to make our welcome dinner/rehearsal dinner, ceremony, and reception everything we wanted! I highly recommend Del and his team at the Emory Conference center you will not regret it!! -

For our wedding with worked with Del Meredith at Emory. What an amazing guy. Along with our coordinator, he made sure that everything went incredibly well and smooth. Del was a lifesaver when it came to getting things together for us, and making magic happen. The venue at Emory was also gorgeous. The food was amazing, the drinks were plentiful. Loved every second of our wedding at Emory. If you want a hassle free experience, this is the way to go! -

Work with Del Meredith. I looked at and received proposals from 8 other venues before deciding to book with Emory Conference Center Hotel, and a lot of that decision was due to Del Meredith. From the customer’s perspective, Del is the ultimate event coordinator. So many other places have a take or leave it attitude, but working off the pre-designed banquet and beverage packages, Del customized something for us that was exactly what we wanted. He is very patient, extremely flexible in the plans and has a calming demeanor ideal for his position. The majority of what we asked for was exactly what we got. If something wasn’t available or doable, he always had an agreeable alternative. Even the night before the wedding, we had to make a couple of changes, and Del got it done. He was there the day of the wedding, all the way until it was time to pack up, and did all that he could to take work off of us and make things stress free. He even made sure that the top of the wedding cake was boxed up and stored for us until the next morning. As parents of the bride, I can tell you that everything he did was greatly appreciated. The event turned out beautifully and was a wonderful day altogether. -

Review long overdo!!...We were married at ECCH 10/01/16 and it was the most AMAZING day ever!! Richelle Francis, who was our main coordinator at the hotel was absolutely WONDERFUL and assisted us with our wedding from beginning to end!! She always answered/returned every single call, email, question, this "hate to relinquish control to someone else" bride, lol, had!! THANK you Richelle for all of your help in creating our amazing wedding!! We visited and stayed at the hotel several times during the planning process initially to tour the venue and thereafter choosing ECCH for our wedding, to meet with our vendors, and to attend a grand tasting event for our wedding, Each time, we fell more and more in LOVE with ECCH especially the hotel's lobby, which is STUNNING!! The location was PERFECT in every way and to have the quaint shopping center at Emory Point with great shops and restaurants just up the hill from the hotel was so convenient! We had so many compliments from our wedding guests, all mostly staying at the hotel, saying how much they LOVED it! We had our ceremony in the Courtyard and our reception at the Silverbell Pavilion, both onsite, both GORGEOUS, with the Courtyard and the surrounding trees and pond and Silverbell with floor to ceiling windows all around and fireplaces!! Just picture perfect in every way! Would love to do all over again! -

We could not have asked for a better wedding venue! We had many out of town guest so having a hotel onsite or very close was a must for us. But I really did not want a generic hotel ballroom wedding. When we found the Emory Conference Center we knew we had found our venue. The location was convenient for both our in-town and out-of-town guests - close to the city, but it feels very tucked away and quiet. The ceremony in the Sprite Garden was picture perfect, and our reception in the Silverbell Pavilion was the party of my dreams! Del and his team are amazing and went well above and beyond to make our special day amazing! The food was delicious, the setting was beautiful and everything went so smoothly. Del took such good care of us, and looked after every detail. He even went out of his way to order a special wine for the reception from our favourite Australian vineyard. Our guests are still telling us what a great time they had at the wedding and how much they enjoyed their stay. -

I am most certainly biased as we just got married here, but this is THE wedding venue for Atlanta.
Before I can tell you about the wedding itself at the Emory Conference Center Hotel, I have to mention our event coordinator and day of wedding coordinator, Del Meredith. I would be willing to book an event at any venue that Del is working at, but he just so happens to work here. He made the planning very easy to do and was very detail oriented. We did not want to have to hire a full time wedding planner and we were assured by Del that it would not be necessary. He was right!! Del coordinated with all of the staff at Emory, and any of our outside vendors, to make sure everything went as planned and on time. He somehow did his magic behind the scenes, but also was around to attend to any requests or needs we had. I can not give Del high enough praise!
The ceremony was held in the garden overlook room outside of the ballrooms. We had an outside design firm to help make it look even more beautiful, but I recommend this location for any indoor wedding of < 150 people. Beautiful floor to ceiling glass windows, wood floors. It would not be feasible to do it here if there were other events in the ballroom, but it worked out perfectly for us.
The time came for the reception, and the guests were waiting for our arrival in the Silverbell pavilion. The reception was amazing and so is the Silverbell Pavilion. Three of the walls are also floor to ceiling windows and there is another fireplace available, which certainly adds to the ambiance. The reception went off without a hitch. Each person got the correct meals, including the ones with special dietary needs. From introductions to the special sparkler exit, everything was professional and top notch.
The staff was all very professional and attentive and made us feel as if we were the only event and the only hotel guests.

Great atmosphere at the ballroom and adjoining outside terrace area - hotel rooms also were very nice. Richelle was a wonderful host and helped us through everything. Food was excellent and service was above expectations.Loved Wisteria Lanes- we had some time to spare between wedding at the church and the reception - and this place was a big hit for our guests. Truly recommend this venue - they were very accommodating to our many out of town guests as well. -

Del took time to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and executed flawlessly. I HIGHLY recommend this venue! Oh! and the food was amazing as well. The Silverbell Pavilion was an exceptional venue for our daughter's wedding. We made good use of the Pavilion, the patio and gardens as well as the walkways. When people wanted a break from the dancing, they could move outside for a quiet conversation. The food was perfect. Several guests came up to me and complimented me not only on the quality of the food but the fact that it was hot when it was served. We were 139 people, and the serving team were incredibly efficient and responsive. Del Meredith, the head of catering, was easy to work with, accommodating and very reassuring. We enjoyed every minute of the wedding and honestly didn't worry about a thing! -

We looked at nearly every venue in Atlanta before settling on ECC for our wedding reception, and I could not be happier about how it turned out. Del Meredith was new halfway through our planning process and I was worried he wouldn't live up to what had been promised by the previous coordinator at ECC, but he exceeded our expectations by far. From his revamping of the menu to his attention to detail and eye for the style of the event, he truly brought the event together. Del was so considerate of our vision and what we needed as the bride and groom, and he went above and beyond to make sure our guests were taken care of.
We were so happy with our reception, the entire day went seamlessly. We could not have done it without Del and his team, and the event turned out even more beautiful than I pictured it could be. I would highly recommend this venue. It makes the whole process so much easier, as it allows the guests to stay in the same location for the whole weekend and not worry about people transporting between the hotel and the reception. The hotel was wonderful as well and everyone was very pleased with their accommodations. The proximity to downtown Decatur as well as Emory Point being right in front of the hotel also provided people with plenty to do even when nothing wedding-related was happening. -

I chose this location for the intimate setting and the versatility. I did not have to shop around for linens, support staff or food. Our wedding day went perfectly and smoothly. Jennifer was an amazing event manager who worked with us the whole way. She knew her stuff and even thought of the details that I hadn't thought off -

This past weekend my husband and I had a Saturday night reception and bowling party, and then our daughter's wedding at the ECC on Sunday morning. It was basically a destination wedding, with the majority of our 250 guests being from out-of-town. Most spent the weekend at the conference center.
The reviews for EVERYTHING were four star. Our guests loved the ambience, style and cleanliness of the facility. I cannot even pinpoint staff that were particularly excellent, as I was told the front desk, restaurant, valets, etc. and on and on were so helpful and gracious.
However, I personally must say that Del Meredith was who really really exceeded my vision for the wedding. He was such a pleasure to work with. His attitude and willingness to work with us in a "can do" manner, going beyond the call of duty were so evident. He made it all happen in such a quiet, pleasant and efficient way. We can not thank him enough for making this affair run so smoothly.
People from around the country and the world will certainly be sharing what a marvelous time that they had at the Emory Conference Center facility.

I had my ceremony & wedding reception at the Emory Conference Center Hotel this past August and had an incredible experience with both the venue & the staff! To begin with, Uli (the catering/event manager) was wonderful to work with. She went out of her way to make sure the day was everything we had hoped it would be & more. The day of our wedding was overcast & we had to move what would have been an outdoor ceremony to the indoor location on short notice. The transition was flawless & the back-up venue was even more beautiful than the original. Our reception was in the Silverbell Pavillion which was lovely & just the right size for our wedding. We loved the food & catering and found the ECCH event staff to be incredibly accommodating & professional. I don't think we could have chosen a better venue for our event & I would highly recommend the ECCH & Uli to any of my family and friends!! -

Unbelievable value and gorgeous location in Atlanta. Included in the price, you basically get your own wedding coordinator in Uli. Uli is the greatest woman. She picks up the phone and calls you when you have questions, explains everything in detail, and goes above and beyond on the day of your event. She truly is the biggest asset to ECCH.
Guests were BLOWN AWAY by the food. It was absolutely delicious. Guests still mention it months later.
It rained on our wedding day, so we needed a back up plan for our ceremony location. The indoor atrium that Uli recommended was actually better than the outside space. She even provided us with nice white wooden chairs (we couldn't afford them and had only expected the banquet chairs).
When you compare ECCH to other wedding venues in the area, you cannot beat the price and value. We spent around $12,000 for 100 guests and that included everything - ceremony, food, open bar with liquor/beer/wine, venue, and Uli! Can't beat that for a full wedding in a big city. Highly recommend! -

You get what you pay for! Emory is worth every penny. My wedding weekend was amazing thanks to Uli and Ljerka. They responded to every request and went above and beyond on everything that I asked. The ball room was simply gorgeous and even with the quick turn around of the previous event they made it happen. The bridal suite was divine and whatever my wedding party needed they provided. From safety pins to super glue they had it available. My ceremony was in the courtyard and it was beautiful although initially it rained Uli reassured me that things would be fine. It stopped raining, they wiped the chairs down and voila my outdoor ceremony happened! My reception was so much fun and everything looked beautiful. The food was one thing everyone raved about. Perfect venue for the city bride looking for a little charm. -

We held our wedding at the Emory Conference Center on Labor Day Weekend 2014 and would highly recommend hosting your wedding there. We went back and forth on where we wanted to host our ceremony and reception. We wanted a place that fit our style, budget, and was convenient for all of our guests. Emory accomplished all of that. The best part about Emory is the ease and convenience of having everything in one spot. The ceremony and reception were right next to each other; the majority of our guests were able to stay in the beautiful hotel attached; and Emory takes care of everything (food, drinks, tables, chairs, etc.). Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk downstairs to the wedding and then walk back upstairs at the end of the night. The staff was stellar and everything went seamlessly. We also received a lot of compliments on the food. It was truly a great experience.
We also enjoyed planning our wedding with Uli from Emory. She was very accommodating to the special customs of our wedding and ensured that we had a great time. We would recommend the Emory Conference Center for hosting your wedding.

My daughter had her ceremony and reception here and we used about 25 rooms for out of town guests. The rooms were quite comfortable and it was great being able to stay at the same venue and not worry about driving or transportation after the reception. There are a bunch of restaurants just down the street at emory point and a bar and restaurants right there at the hotel. The reception was in the pavilion and the food was delicious and fresh. Uli and her team made sure everything went as planned and always responded to any questions quickly.
Our only disappointment was we couldn't have the ceremony and cocktail hour outside as planned due to storms. But Uli had it under control and set up the ceremony in a beautiful room inside surrounded by glass windows looking outside which looked like we were in a garden room. -

We had the most beautiful wedding day thanks to Emory! We had an event manager who took care of all the little details and made sure everything was just perfect. For the price you pay, this venue is absolutely beautiful and well worth the money! The best part is that they take care of everything for you; from decorations to catering and from seating arrangements to making sure the guests get to their rooms or cars safely, everything was so well taken care of. We cannot say enough good things about Emory Conference Center Hotel as our wedding reception venue, and we absolutely LOVED our experience with Uli and the entire sales team. Truly, Emory was the PERFECT venue for our large reception.
From the moment we first toured Emory, to our food tastings, to managing the hotel experience, to setting up the ballroom, to the catering staff interactions, Uli Burgess was very friendly, unbelievably competent, and truly attentive to all of our needs. Uli was aware of our budget, attentive to our decorative desires, and flexible with the (many!) special requests that we made. Throughout the entire process, I felt as though she was truly "on our team." She never tried to sell us extra things, she always listened to our needs, and she accommodated us to the best of her ability. We cannot thank her and her team enough! They are wonderful.
At our reception, Emory even organized for the head table to have a Spanish-speaking server for my in-laws. Emory really does go above and beyond in service! The food was exceptional as well. It could not have been smoother.
Additionally, we had several dozen out-of-town guests that raved about their experience as hotel guests. Throughout their booking process and stay at the hotel, Emory provided great service. We gave our wedding guests "welcome bags" and the hotel made sure each guest got one from us. My husband and I were impressed by the honeymoon suite as well for our wedding night - it was beautiful!
We are overjoyed with our experience at Emory, and recommend it highly to anyone looking for a flexible, attentive, and service-oriented venue. -

We had an incredible experience at the Emory Conference center. We had our rehearsal dinner down in the Wisteria Lanes, our wedding ceremony in the courtyard, and the reception in the largest ballroom. It was so convenient for our guests to be able to stay there and the staff was so amazing. They made sure that our wedding day went off without a hitch! -

We had our wedding and rehearsal party at the Emory Conference Center and I can't say enough about what a great decision it was. Uli Burgess was our coordinator and she went the extra mile to ensure our two events went off without a hitch. Friday night we had our rehearsal party at "Wisteria Lanes" located within the center. It included a 6 lane bowling alley!!! It was such a great way to get our two families to relax and mix. They had to throw us out at mid-night. No one wanted to leave.
On our wedding day, it rained; poured!!! No problem. Uli provided a indoor location within the conference center for our service and it turned out to be a better place than the outdoor venue we had initially chosen. Our reception was held in the Houston Mill House that is on the grounds of the center. For the 80 or so people who attended, it was a perfect venue. Eating upstairs, dancing downstairs, and a beautiful patio for people to relax and mingle.
The best part was, however, the food. It truly was "To Die For!!!" Everyone is still talking about how good it was.
Our guests stayed at the conference center and everyone remarked how nice it was.
And for me (the guy who was 'writing the checks') Emory turned out to be a wonderful value. Uli really worked hard to earn our business. We received an excellent service at a very fair price. I am so Totally satisfied that I would not hesitate to recommend the Emory University Conference Center to anyone wishing to have an event. I couldn't be more happy. -

Uli is AMAZING!!! She is incredibly nice, down-to-earth, funny, and extremely professional and good at what she does. Her attention to detail was phenomenal and she helped us immensely through the whole process. She was extremely flexible -- we changed our seating plans 3 times in the week before the wedding and she took it all in stride.
The Silverbell Pavilion is beautiful and the rooms themselves are quite nice too -- and a VERY reasonable rate for guests. It was nice that guests also had the option of staying at the Emory Inn for an even more reduced rate -- though unfortunately it is being knocked down in the next few months and so that will no longer be an option in the future.
The value of the place was phenomenal -- Uli worked with us to create a menu that fit our budget. And even though we went with one of the cheapest possible options, we got a TON of compliments on the food (Emory requires you to use in-house catering).
I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend the Emory Conference Center Hotel!! -

The ECCH was a beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding. It was a very busy weekend in Atlanta, but the staff was very accommodating, and made us feel special. Uli was absolutely amazing, from the beginning of the planning, through the end of the special day. It was a pleasure working with her. The food was absolutely delicious. We received many compliments. The surroundings were gorgeous for an outdoor ceremony. With all that was included, this was a true value. -

I can not say enough great things about Uli and the ECCH staff. I fell in love with this place from the first time I saw it. I could have gotten married sooner, but I waited a year so that I could have my wedding here and it is true that good things come to those who wait. Our wedding was perfect, our food was perfect, our reception was perfect. Thank you ECCH. You guys were great. -

When I first saw the Emory Conference Center at a bridal show, I thought "I'd never have my wedding at a conference center - they are so tacky and ugly!" I ended up checking them out anyway at my mom's urging since she'd had meetings there before...and I'm so glad she did! The place is gorgeous! Uli was our contact there and she is absolutely wonderful...and trust me, we put her through the ringer a few times, but she always kept a great attitude and level of professionalism. She was always really quick to respond to any questions or concerns that we had as well, which I find incredibly important. The food was delicious...and Wysteria Lanes makes the whole place even better. It's a great room with bowling alleys, Wii, pool, and more - everyone LOVED that aspect of our wedding and had never really seen anything like it before. I would encourage everyone to check out Emory Conference Center for their wedding...or any other event! -

For our event, this was the perfect venue and Uli Burgess was the perfect Catering/Event Manager to work with! Over half of our guests were from out of town, so we needed a facility where everyone could hang out and where all of our events could occurr. We had the most amazing Rehearsal Dinner in the Wisteria Lanes - a retro diner-bowling alley on site! The ceremony was held outside in the "Garden" and the Reception was held in the SilverBell Pavilion - all on site. The hotel rooms and staff were wonderful. There is an exceptional restaurant and bar on site as well. All of our needs were met with enthusiasm and an extreme desire to satisfy the customer. Uli was wonderful because she was flexible and offered excellent advice as a result of her considerable experience. It was the best weekend for our once in a lifetime event - my daughter's wedding! -

I'm still over-the-moon with how perfectly everything went on our wedding day! Everything went smoothly and without any issues, and that's really a testament to the experience and professionalism of Uli Burgess and the rest of the ECCH staff. I can honestly say that everything went better than I could have hoped -- from the beauty of the bridal suite, to the timeline of events, to how the decorations were executed to my specifications to the friendliness of the staff -- and I have absolutely no complaints!!
It was a pleasure working with Uli and everyone at the ECCH and I'd like to thank them again for everything they did to make our wedding day amazing!! -

We were married in September 2010 in the Garden Courtyard at ECCH; our Reception was held in the Silverbell Pavilion. From start to finish, we were 100% satisfied with the service provided by Uli Burgess and her amazing team at ECCH.
If you are looking for a place to handle all the small details, you've found it in ECCH. We didn't have to worry about a thing because this team of professionals is spectacular. They even handled our last-minute requests with ease and went above and beyond in the days before our wedding.
One of the best parts about planning our wedding with Uli was that she compromises with you. For example, the bar packages listed were out of our price range and so we worked on a plan to offer only specific beer and wine in a predetermined quantity. Nowhere was this listed in their packages, but Uli made it happen. She truly wants you to have the wedding of your dreams and will do whatever she can to make it happen.
I definitely recommend renting the microphone if you're being married in the Courtyard. This was a last-minute decision and one we thought we'd regret, but if we hadn't done it, none of our guests would have heard our ceremony.
A great surprise at the end of the night was coming back to our honeymoon suite to find 2 huge plates of food and 2 pieces of cake waiting for us! We barely ate during the ceremony and were starving. There's nothing like sitting in the middle of a king sized bed eating lobster and wedding cake with your hubby on your wedding night!
Don't even hesitate to book ECCH for your wedding and/or reception. You won't regret it! -

My husband and I were married at Emory Conference Center Hotel in June. From the moment we toured ECCH, we knew it was the place for our wedding! We loved that we could have everything in one place including hotel accommodations, the ceremony, the reception, the food and beverages. Our Emory wedding planner, Uli Burgess, made our day everything we could have asked for and more! Our guests have complimented us on our "perfect" wedding and many have called it the best wedding they've ever attended.
One of the special touches Uli set up for us was providing a room to share a moment in privacy after the ceremony. Uli had even arranged a romantic table with some of our cocktail reception food and wine for us! She was so reassuring every step of the way so we could just enjoy our wedding. We kept waiting for something to go wrong (because every wedding has that one thing), but every aspect was absolutely perfect.
Emory really helped to make my weddjng dreams come true. The staff were always professional, helpful, patient, and punctual with everything. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful and great the food was. Branka, our Captain in the Silverbell Pavilion, was exceptional in her service to every guest and for every need we had that evening! The grounds looked great and especially at night with the lights. We are so glad we chose this venue. Thank you so much for your excellent facilities, services, and staff. I would highly recommend Emory Conference Center Hotel to any bride-to-be! -

Uli and the entire staff at Emory were a dream to work with from the day we first took a tour right through until the day after the event. I never had any nerves about what I should be doing, Uli always kept me on track. I loved having everything at one venue, especially for the out of town guests. We had a beautiful garden ceremony, a fun reception with delicious food and the best band (Moxie) and wonderful accomodations for not only us but all our guests. This was the best decision we could have possibly made. Hint: people still talk about shrimp and grits we served as part of the buffet and we just celebrated our first anniversary. They were that good! -

We booked ECCH a year in advance of our wedding date. Throughout the entire year, Uli Burgess was great in making us feel important. She was also very flexible in taking time out to meet with her to answer questions, show the venue again, etc. When my out of town family and friends arrived, they all mentioned how great they were treated throughout the weekend. Thanks ECCH for making our wedding weekend stress free! -

I planned my wedding day in 5 months and from start to finish, Emory and team (Uli and Ljerka) were absolutely amazing! All of the details that go into the day were taken care of by the Emory team. I honestly, had to worry about nothing. We had our rehearsal dinner in the ballroom and I know my husband's parents were extremely happy with setup, food, and service. We had the reception in the Silverbell Pavilion. I could write paragraphs about this place and how happy I am with how everything went. Everyone can't stop talking about how beautiful the location was, how professional and helpful the hotel staff was and just all around how wonderful our experience ended up being. I could not recommend the Emory Conference Center Hotel any more. The location is perfect, they will take care of you like no other, and you will not lift a finger. Consider this place for your day, I am so thankful I did. -

The Houston Mill House and its staff made our wedding a wonderful experience. Jessica & Holly helped us plan everything we needed to make this event happen, and were so wonderful to work with. They were always available to answer questions or respond to requests quickly. The chef, Vince, was marvelous and his food is to die for - we knew our guests would love everything (and they did!). He was even helpful when we had to move our ceremony inside and flip the dining room due to inclement weather. They all pitched in to make sure our event was flawless. The house and grounds are beautiful, and I obviously highly recommend the venue! My only warning is that the house is a bit small. It was perfect for our wedding (65 people), but it would be extremely tight if you had more guests. -

Emory Conference Center was a dream! I shopped around for venues and this one included so much for what you are paying. Others I found didn't even give you table linens, they include it all! First, the Silverbell Pavilion was absolutely gorgeous-- so many guests commented on the location's beauty. It's hard to believe how close it is to ATL. Secondly, Del, the coordinator, works so hard and made sure that the reception was exactly what I had dreamed it would be. He even went as far as to personally set up my centerpieces on each table after I told him how I wanted them to look. He delivered a seamless reception that included every detail we could possibly think of. When we arrived, he had already prepared a huge tray of food for my husband and I to snack on from the cocktail hour, so we were ready to go upon walking in to the crowded reception. The food was out of this world , and they made so many accommodations for different allergies etc. I wish this party could have lasted forever! Bonus-- we rented out the bowling alley for an after party and I would absolutely recommend that to anyone who uses Emory Conference Center- it was a highlight and Del gave us a deal since we had booked our reception there as well. I'm so grateful for all that Del and his team did to make this such an incredible and unforgettable day! -

Uli and her team were pretty easy to work with and flexible with what we wanted for our reception. We also had family and friends stay at the hotel and were able to stay up late after the reception technically ended and hang out in the lobby which has a bar. Great place for a wedding. I had a WONDERFUL experience working with the Emory Conference Center (including Uli and Ljerka). I visited my fair amount of venues and ECCH was a clear winner. It had everything in one place for my out of town guests: ceremony, reception and beautiful hotel rooms. The guests also got a decent block room rate. Uli always made herself available for impromptu meetings and was responsive to my many email questions. We customized our menu and had some stations which ECCH hadn't yet attempted, so we were able to have a private food tasting and everything was delicious - I keep getting rave reviews about the food. Uli was so organized and the day went incredibly smoothly, even though the ceremony was supposed to be outside and it rained. In all honesty, where the ceremony took place inside the atrium was probably a better option since it wasn't hot for the guests. Therefore, this is a great venue for brides that want their ceremony outside, since there is an incredible back up plan. Uli allowed me to make my day be everything I had ever wanted. We even get a comped suite the night of the wedding which was so spacious and fancy and amazing! -

The ECCH (and especially Ulli, the wedding coordinator) were fantastic at helping us plan our reception. Everyone bragged to us about the food, and it was our little secret that we went with the hotel's basic buffet! Everyone was impressed and we got a great value! The hotel has beautiful common areas that were fun for all the guests staying there that weekend, and even though it is minutes from downtown Atlanta and the major highways, it is set back in Emory Woods, so it feels rustic and serene! The ONLY negative I would say is that the telephone reservation folks were testy when it came to special requests...and they handed out the wrong rates to several of our guests...BUT one quick call to the actual front desk of the hotel and most problems were resolved. They accommodated special requests and were really responsive. -

I really enjoyed working with Uli, our venue coordinator at ECCH. She was very helpful and always responded quickly to any questions or concerns that we had. Certain members of my family are quite anxiety-prone, and Uli managed to alleviate their concerns and even make everyone laugh when the wedding stress was getting thick. I am a vegan, and ECCH provided dishes to accommodate me as well as my omnivorous guests. I liked that I did not have to worry about any details of setup and clean up, and both the ceremony space and reception space were beautiful! -

We actually held our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at The Houston Mill House, one of the historic Emory properties adjacent and connected to The Emory Conference Center Hotel. The ECCH provided banquet management, staff, catering, and accommodations for our guest. Our wedding was executed flawlessly by Jennifer Rooks Hartnett. I highly recommend her. The only reason why the ECCH doesn't get 5 stars across all categories from me is that our room was supposed to be complimentary, as part of our package, my credit card was charged in error, and it has yet to be refunded. It's a minor annoyance, and didn't affect the absolutely outstanding food and service that was provided to us on wedding day. -

We searched high and low for a venue that fit our personalities, which was more along the lines of exposed brick, modern, and elegant, but had to re-evaluate our budget to allow room for the band we wanted from New Orleans (which we ended up cutting, but that's another story). We were happy to find Emory Conference Center because the grounds are stunning, ballroom has a grand feeling to it, and it has a beautiful courtyard! The icing on top was that you only pay for the catering, not the venue.
The thing I liked most was the different settings you can choose from in this one property. I had my heart set on a garden wedding at first, and this venue was perfect for the wedding ceremony and reception. Then, I changed my mind for fear of not enjoying the outdoor smell on my gown once I got inside, my heels digging in the grass, and grass stains. I personally like the look of outdoors, but not the logistics. Just a personal decision, that ended up being divine intervention:) It poured cats and dogs on my wedding day! Not to worry though if this is your main draw to this place because they do have plenty of areas for a back-up space in case of rain. There is a charge for each chair you use for the ceremony (something like $5) and there may have been a charge for the ceremony space as well (not sure). Any sound equipment you want from them, there is a fee to use it. We decided to just have the ceremony at my church, which was free for seats and sound system! We kept the reception at Emory.
I absolutely love Cheryl Chasouw, who was our ultimate reception coordinator after a shaky relationship with our initial assigned coordinator, Uli. For us, she was combative, had a can't-do attitude once we paid our deposit, and when she was friendly it felt forced and ingenuine. Total opposite with Cheryl, but keep in mind she is the catering director. She was able to step in and take over for our wedding reception. I would give her 6 stars. Even when I got sick on my wedding day, she brought me pepto bismol and kept me sipping club soda throughout the reception. She was on it! Note: I did have 2 other outside coordinators for the reception, so that no one felt too overwhelmed. Also, I had 5 hostesses to assist.
The food was great!
Overall, this is an excellent value for what you get. -

I was able to book this venue within three days of my wedding. They provided me with everything that I needed and were very helpful. The hotel and its courtyard is beautiful the grounds are maintained very well. It all made for a beautiful ceremony and gorgeous pictures to remember. -

Beautiful venue. The sales staff is easy to work with and very accommodating. The waitstaff was on point. The food was good -- the peach stuffed french toast was a hit. -

The houston mill house was beautiful, provided some of the best food i have ever tasted and really worked with us. The only negative things were the rules they had about the house; we weren't allowed to do any sort of decorating or anything until 2 hours before the wedding which seemed a bit rushed. Also they had a few hidden prices we didn't know about and it was a very expensive place for only the 70 guests we had, but if i had it to do over i would still choose them. It was an excellent venue for a wedding. -

Gorgeous property, but very expensive and comes with many rules and regulations. We were not allowed and kind of amplification outdoors, so there was no microphone allowed for the ceremony and we could not have any music outside for guests who wanted to sit on the patio. Also, this place is definitely for smaller weddings. We had 70 people and we were pretty squeezed in and it was very tight. However, it's a lovely place and the service is exceptional. I would still recommend it. -

The wedding coordinator, Erett Faulkie was great! He was so helpful through the whole process and really made our wedding day feel special. The ballroom was beautiful and the outdoor patio was the perfect place for our cocktail hour. The staff was very helpful the night of the wedding, and overall we had a great experience. I do have a few complaints though...
Our (very expensive) guest baskets were delivered to the wrong people, which was not only frustrating but also resulted in several guests going to the wrong ceremony location. The planner suggested serving only wine during 30 minutes of dinner to save money on the open bar; what we didn't know is that the servers would pour wine for all guests during dinner whether the wanted it or not, and we would pay for every bottle served. This ended up being more than twice the cost of just leaving the bar open. Also, when it came time to cut the cake, no one was there to help us, so we just had to make the whole thing up. Our clothes were locked in a back room, and when we got ready to make our exit we couldn't find anyone with a key to the room. Just take all of this as a warning of what to change about your reception and you'll be fine. The venue is beautiful and it's a great location! -

Emory Conference Center was where our reception was held. It was a fabulous indoor/outdoor venue for the fall. The food (the guests tell me) was amazing and there was ample service to assit while we were there. No set up/clean up necessary as the staff takes care of all of that. Some table decorations available but you are welcome to add more if you prefer. -

It was an experience I must say... Somethings I would have preferred handled better with the staff but overall, It was okay. The flexibility was the best part with our budget. -
