Lisa did an amazing job for my wedding! She somehow got my husband to smile in the pictures AND relax! She exudes such a positive energy that it’s impossible not to get amazing pictures! She is extremely professional and listens to what you want to see in your pictures. She took our engagement photos and wedding photos and both were beyond my expectations. I would recommend her to any bride!

Although we met Lisa after we were married I was more then happy to provide a little insight for anyone looking for a wonderful photographer. After searching San Diego for someone to take photos of my husband, dog, and myself I came across Lisa’s website. I fell in love with her pictures and contacted her right away. I realized her prices were very reasonable for such a high quality of work and booked with her right away! We both have hectic work schedules and she did a wonderful job working out a time that worked for all of us.

When I asked photographers about having Guinness (our dog) in photos many-responded back that animals are like props. That alone turned me off to them because I know Guinness has his own mind and agenda so I had to find someone who would work with him. To my delight Lisa spent years as an animal trainer and bonded with him immediately. She was very patient with him and really enjoyed working with him. That made my husband and myself feel very at ease.

Overall for the second we met Lisa it felt like we knew her forever. She has such a wonderful personality. She has great ideas for where to shoot pictures and how to shoot them. We never felt uncomfortable around her, which really made out pictures look nature.

My husband had to leave with the Navy shortly after taking the pictures. When she e-mailed the link with the photos and I went through them it literally brought tears to my eyes. She really captured us the way we are. Not stiff and uncomfortable but natural and goofy. She did an excellent job picking out the photos that came out the best and touching up what needed to be. I order some and am waiting to go get them framed to hang on our wall!

I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer. When my husband is commissioned in March we want to use her again for photographs.

My husband and I LOVEd Lisa as well as all our guests. She has a great style and captures exactly what you ask of her. She knows exactly how to "pose" you to get the best shot and make you look your best. She was very friendly, professional and knew how to get those "real smiles" that made for frameable photos. I HIGHLY reccommend her to any bride looking for a photographer with a semi casual, non traditional pose style. We hope to use her for family photos down the line!

You won't find a better photographer than Lisa. So far, we have only seen the "sneak peak" photos from our daughter's wedding and we can already tell it will be very difficult not to buy every picture she took. She managed to capture the fun, emotion, and beauty of the day in every picture. Even beyond the pictures of specific people we had asked her to photograph, Lisa and Xavier (her 2nd photographer) seemed to get great pictures of all of the guests and attendants at different moments throughout day. Completely candid shots that are perfect memory makers. The posed pictures are amazing and the backgrounds she chose are so diverse. So many pictures of the bride and groom that were taken privately with them, make you feel like you had actually been there watching them (without a photographer present) and stir up the very emotion you would have felt in that moment. When we first looked at her website, we were taken with the fantastic color of her photos. In every photo, the colors just POPPED! We checked out several other photographers but we never had the sense of color or found the look of fun in the faces of the couple or guests that we found in Lisa's pictures. Others looked stiff or staged but Lisa's photos made everything look so natural, so candid. Her packages are very affordable and you definitely get your money's worth and more. The start of the wedding day was LATE by 30 minutes which threw everything on our photo timeline behind but Lisa just flowed with it. She never seemed irritated or flustered. She and Xavier went about getting pictures of other things while we scurried to get everything back on schedule. She was a calm in the storm for me as she called me aside, told me to breathe, and said "look at these people, they're having a great time catching up with people they haven't seen in a while. They're fine so you can relax. This is normal...most weddings run a little late...it's going to be great." She was always quick to respond to our emails or phone calls. And, she was even helpful when I was struggling to find the right mother-of-the-bride dress. She gave me pointers on what looks best in photos, color suggestions, and gave her opinion on two dresses I was considering. All in all, we are so glad we chose Elle.G.Photography as our wedding photographer. They were great to work with, fun to get to know, and managed to mix seamlessly in with the crowd to capture so many moments that we never would have seen had they not been there and done their job so well. We can't wait to see all of the finished pictures. We absolutely recommend Elle.G.Photography. If you want the best photographer in San Diego to photograph your wedding, you need to call Lisa. From beginning to end, you will feel like you're working with a family friend (who just happens to be an amazing photographer).

Lisa did a fantastic job with our wedding photos. Without her we would have missed so many breathtaking photos. She is so thorough and creative, I was beyond words when we got access to our photos. Lisa is an amazing photographer!!! Not only does she take GREAT pictures but she's so easy to work with, LOVE HER! My husband and I felt so comfortable with her from the moment we met her. We did a bike ride for our engagement shoot and had so much fun with her and her husband. Can't wait for her to take pictures in the future of our family.

Lisa came in at the last minute when our original photographer was a no show. She dropped what she was doing when she got the call and was over setting up within 10 minutes. Even though we had never met she was comfortable and professional and that eased our wedding party. We all laughed and celebrated. I would think anyone lucky to have her for their celebrations.

Lisa and Ross from Elle.g Photography are absolutely amazing!!! They are two wonderful, caring people with such a creative eye! From the moment I spoke with them, I had nothing but confidence and reassurance. They even postponed their family vacation to be able to shoot our wedding! I received a personalized thank you in the mail, and filled out a few questionaires so that they were able to ensure that they had every detail planned out ahead of time. They were an absolute pleasure to work with! Both are very mellow and laid-back, yet extremely professional. I received all the shots that I asked for and more! I just received the pictures from my daughter's wedding. They were phenomenal! Every single picture came out great. The photographer captured not only the wedding but also the incredible setting. Very professional and accommodating. They happily work with you to get the pictures you request. It will be difficult to choose which pictures I want for my album. They were all fantastic.
