Kristen Sent on 11/06/2017If you're looking for an A-Team to carry out your wedding vision, then Lesley and ECE need to be your choice!
Lesley and her team were absolutely stellar. They took our ideas and plans and turned them into our absolute dream wedding. Our questions were always answered promptly and thoroughly, and all suggestions provided were very clearly researched and knowledgeable in the local wedding market. Anything we needed, they were there.
Additionally, the rehearsal and wedding day went absolutely worry-free knowing the details were in the hands of Elegantly Charming Events. Everything was handled by Lesley, Stephanie, and the team, which truly amplified my enjoyment of the day because I knew that anything that could possibly come up would be handled. They were there for every last moment of the wedding day -- from prep through farewell -- and even made sure all of the things I couldn't leave at the site were swiftly packaged and sent home to make for a worry-free next day as well.
Lesley and ECE were not only extremely professional, but a joy to get to know. It's a great feeling when your wedding planner also feels like your friend. She simply GOT me -- my personality, my vision, my worries -- and put them all together into a wedding my new husband even said was the "BEST WEDDING EVER" (direct quote). If you want a planner to give you as much freedom as you'd like to make choices or as much specific direction as you could possible need at any given moment (think color schemes all the way through vendor tip suggestions), and someone who truly takes the time to understand what YOU want and need -- choose ECE! Their prices are completely fair, and in fact, they deserve so much more. I cannot say enough to thank them.Elegantly Charming Events's reply:

Christiana Sent on 12/31/2017The ECE team was incredible. They went above and beyond for our wedding. The fact that my only responsibility on the wedding day was to show up and have a good time is a testament to how well they executed it. I had 15-20 vendors and the ECE coordinated all communications with each vendor so that it went smoothly. I remember showing up to my wedding, having a blast, then waking up the next morning to text Lesley.... what do I need to do? In addition, I had a large bridal party but we did not need to rely on the bridal party for too much as I wanted them to be able to enjoy the day with is and not have to run around stressed, working the event. It was everything I wanted and an incredible value!!!! If you are on the fence about hiring this team, look no further. It is money well spent and nothing is greater than peace of mind knowing that you do not need to worry on your day of. I would recommend Lesley and the team to anyone and when I plan my next event, she is aready top of my list.... I might be ready for another wedding ;).

Courtney Sent on 06/16/2017I was a mostly-DIY bride, but I didn't want to have to set up my reception hall on the morning of my wedding! So I hired Lesley and her team to handle it for me and they took care of everything. I could not be happier that I decided to hire ECE. The one thing I wanted on my wedding day was to not be stressed about anything, and they delivered on that beautifully!Elegantly Charming Events's reply:

Joe Sent on 07/07/2016As a groom who was a Logistics NCO in the US Army, I didn't really think that we needed a day of wedding planner. I figured that each vendor is paid for a job and they will do what they are supposed to, right?? Boy was I wrong... In the weeks coming up to our wedding we found ourselves being pulled in tons of different directions and it seemed to become very overwhelming. I went into our final meeting with Lesley very nervous. She knocked our socks off and made sure everything went off without a hitch. She and her team were there to make sure everyone was on time and on the same page. Any last minute things that came up, their only response was, "don't worry, I got it". Yolanda Sent on 12/01/2015Lesley and the Elegantly Charming Events Staff were excellent for my Red, Gray, Glitz and Glam wedding. I made the best decision to include Elegantly Charming Events in my wedding planning. Lesley follows up with in an extremely timely manner to telephone, text, and e-mail messages. It’s as if Lesley anticipates future needs/problems of customers and takes action to meet these needs or solve problems prior to them happening and that is much appreciated in such a stressful situation. Lesley made an extra effort to keep me accurately informed about my vendors and assisted me we a major issue that came up in the last week of my wedding planning. She is excellent at understanding the customer’s point of view and has a thorough knowledge of the customer’s world and is able to anticipate customer’s requests. Her knowledge of the wedding industry was greatly appreciated.Elegantly Charming Events's reply:

Elizabeth Sent on 08/11/2015Not enough words to describe the awesome job that Lesley and her lovely assistant, Kabria, did for my husband and I, for our wedding...but I’ll try. First off, we came to Lesley with quite an eventful wedding day planned. We not only wanted to have the traditional Church ceremony and reception, but also wanted to include a private reception for close family and friends. With that in mind, I went about planning everything down to the most finite detail, and scheduled Lesley to come in as the Day Of Coordinator (which is her Sapphire Package). Let me tell you, I blew up my google drive (which is where all of our correspondence was stored) updating all the documents that Lesley would need to execute all of our wedding plans. And she kept up with it all, never hesitating to text or email me if she had a question or to offer helpful suggestions. That attention to detail and extra assurance that everything would be handled, is the best feeling for a bride & groom. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, and both Lesley and Kabria were everywhere we needed; constantly checking on my husband and I, and never hesitating to communicate changes, delays or just offering reassurance that every task was completed. Even my Officiant and Church Coordinator were impressed with their punctuality (arriving before all the vendors and staying at each venue to ensure setup and breakdown) and creating a peaceful and perfect day.
From the bottom of our hearts: Kienan and I thank you, Lesley and Kabria! Our wedding was everything we prayed and planned for, thanks to your guidance and assistance. Now, if only I could find an excuse to use you, the DJ and photo booth again :)Elegantly Charming Events's reply:

Nache Sent on 03/21/2018Leslie, the owner, was recommended by a friend and was so easy to work with. After our initial meeting I knew I had to hire her to plan my book signing event. She was a good listener, she provided recommendations, we discussed timeframe, and just by her demeanor I know she meant business.
Throughout the process she kept me informed, gave me recommendations, provided vendor recommendations, and found the PERFECT space based on what I told her I was looking for. She also made sure I stayed on budget and provided alternative solutions to purchases to make sure I didn’t go over budget.
I would hire her in a heartbeat to plan any event for me. She’s responsive and reliable, that’s sometimes hard to find. I highly recommend her. -
