Giselle is a fabulous hairdresser, she has the ability to do very elaborate styles on multiple people with different hair types in a short time frame. I really appreciated her ability to stay on schedule on the wedding day so that nobody was late. The only reason I didn't give her a perfect score is that it is a little difficult to pay her. She doesn't accept out of state checks and credit cards so it can get a bit difficult to work payment. However, don't let this deter you, she is fabulous! Just know you need to figure out your payment situation in advance.

It was very important to me to find the best hairdresser for my wedding and I did. During the last month prior to my wedding I found Giselle. I called her and met with her immediately. Giselle is very flexible and professional. She responded to every question, email or phonecall that I made. She asked me to bring in pictures and my vision for what I wanted to my hair to be like. I brought her a photo of my wedding gown and my headpiece. She tried a couple of different hair styles and took pictures. Giselle is very creative and puts 100% of herself in the hair that she is designing. I felt from her that the trial day hair was as important to her as my wedding day hair. She is fantastic! She put together a wonderful idea for my wedding day and it worked with my hair. It was amazing! The best of all, it wasn't a typical updo but the hair was something that accented my dress and me.
On my wedding day, she came to the hotel room and worked on all of the girls, including my aunt and my mom. She was able to do 6 girls, my aunt, my mom and me in under 4 hours. All of their hair was fabulous and they all looked terrific. Best of all, no one complained and their hair as well as mine stayed put all day/night long. She is the best! I highly recommend her!
Not only is she the best hairdresser, she has a pleasant and sweet personality. She put a lot of care in everyone's hair and really listened to what everyone wanted.

When my daughter told me how much the hairdo was - I nearly fainted but agreed to go to the trial. That was all it took .Everyone commented on her hair and it stayed thru hours in DC - pre-wedding and 4 hours of dancing. There was not a hair out of place. The up-do was a creation in itself .
So ladies, dig deep and go for Giselle.

I just got married on October 3rd. I was given Giselle's name by my photographers - Allen and Marge from Creation Waits. After seeing her prices (about 400 once you're done with trial and paying for the wedding updo), I decided against using her. I did two hair trials with other people and hated them. I decided to go to a trial with Giselle. Within 10 minutes, my hair was up in the most elegant updo and I knew exactly why she cost so much! It was gorgeous and she is so talented it didnt take any time at all. On my wedding day, she came to my house and did my hair, my two maids of honor's hair, and one of my bridesmaid's hair. Four updos and touchups only took her 2 hours and 15 minutes. My friends described an updo to Giselle and she perfected it in minutes. We took pictures in DC before the wedding ceremony and our hair lasted all night. My hair lasted through the placement and removal of veil, through wind, and through dancing all night. My husband loved the hair. My hair is long, but it is thin and Giselle used a hair filler and wrapped all my natural hair around it so I had a full and beautiful chignon. You couldn't see the hair filler at all and it made my hair look the best its ever looked in an updo. My mom, who was in charge of our wedding budget, said to me that Giselle was worth every penny we spent and was the best decision we made. Giselle is not only talented, she's also professional, responsive, and very sweet. She did my friend's hair too at a wedding in July and it looked beautiful and lasted all night.

Giselle is the real deal. She is totally professional, extremely experienced, and a complete perfectionist - just what you want on the day of your wedding.
She styled my hair and my four bridesmaids' hair, and we discovered to our joy that she really can pull any style off - from romantic loose waves to elegant, classic Audrey Hepburn updos. Every girl looked absolutely beautiful.
My hair was shoulder-length but she still managed to execute a flawless, soft romantic updo which stayed put all night. Her eye for the ideal placement of hair accessories such as hair flowers was perfect, and made a real difference in my photos.
She was extremely responsive throughout my booking, and I would recommend her 100 per cent. You will not have to worry about a single thing if Giselle is doing your hair.

My daughter was married on 8/29/09. I am a wedding planner and suggested different vendors to Stacie based upon my experience of being in the business for over 30 years. Well, all we can say about Giselle is that she is the "best" in the business. Stacie had a hair trial with Giselle before the wedding which was the best thing in the world to do--Giselle was so patient, sweet and even took photos of the hairstyle so she would know exactly what to do on the wedding day. Stacie did not know what she wanted and Giselle tried various styles until Stacie was thrilled. She even suggested to Stacie to buy an extra pair of earrings and made hairclips to match. She did my hair, the groom's mother hair and also the girls in the wedding party. Everyone was thrilled beyond belief! If you want to hire the best hairstylist and also feel relaxed and confident that your hairstyle will be perfect, then you need to look no farther than Elegant Hair by Gisellle. After working with her, we look at Giselle not only as a fabulous professional in the business but also as a friend. Giselle---you are the best!!!!!!!!

I LOVED my hair on the day of the wedding!! I hired Giselle to do my hair, my 6 bridesmaids and my mom...everyone looked great! I am very picky and went to Giselle for a trial with a pretty good idea of what I wanted done. She nailed it the first time and I practically hired her on the spot. This was one of the only vendors where I did not shop around because I felt really confident in her abilities. Completely worth the money!

I originally met Giselle at my Brother and sister-in-laws wedding. it was the first wedding I had ever been in, where every single girl loved thier wedding hair! The day we booked our venue and date, I called her and booked her too. Lucky I did, as she got numerous requests for my same day!
I had a very challenging and detailed style. It invlved extentions and hair fillers. IT WAS PERFECTLY EXECUTED. She was such a pelasure to work with and I absolutely loved my hair. I have to say that Giselle was by far the best discovery that I had from all my vendors. I had tried 2 hair stylists before and wasn't satisfied with any of their services. I have long, curly hair, and wanted a Greek-Roman- romantic style, with most of my hair down. Most stylists that I found work with updos, so I had a hard and long time looking for "The One". I absolutely loved the way she styled my hair. She also did my Mom's hair (an updo), my friend's hair (another updo but more modern), and Styled my sister-in-law's, as well as my husband's mother and aunt. She was pretty fast but very detailed at the same time. She knows how to work your hair, and it's worth every penny you pay. She's also very creative, and works with your features, and will not impose, if you don't feel comfortable. That's a big plus.

We brought Giselle on-site to do hair for the mothers and bridesmaids, and she did a great job. She is talented, for starters. She also has a lovely personality and bent over backwards to make sure everyone was as happy as could be with their hair. Everyone looked great. Giselle was also terrific about touching base during the weeks leading up to the wedding, and making sure that we were on the same page with the schedule for the day. She was so flexible and happy to accommodate us, she really was terrific. Thanks, Giselle!

You were so flexible with me and I really appreciated it. I decided to change my hairstyle the day of and she was so nice about it. I can't wait to show you the pictures!!!
It was crazy windy out by the water (when we took our pictures), but my hair took it pretty well.
One of my bridesmaid told me that she wouldn't be getting her hair done, then decided to put oil in her hair the day of. Of course, she ended up having problems styling her hair. Giselle was so nice and helped her, even though we were going past our scheduled time. She is truly a professional!!!
I can't wait until we have another special occasion. I am definitely going to call you!!!

Wow what can I say but Giselle did a fantastic job for my wedding day! The maid of honor and I both had our hair done at our hotel room with lots of friends and family coming and going, making up being done, photos taken and general joy but Giselle worked great under pressure helping keep the calm joyous feeling going.
I have long very thick very curly hair that I trust to almost no one and Giselle took my hair right in stride spending much extra time to make sure my hair looked fantastic and stayed that way all night. Let me tell you even after wind, a couple hours of dancing and many hugs my hair still looked great. I am very impressed! As soon as I have my photos back I will gladly post some.
If you have hard to handle curly hair I would highly recommend Giselle.

The first time I went to Giselle for a trial run, she was very patient with me. She did an amazing job, on my wedding day. I had soft waves in my hair and they stayed all night! I got so many compliments on the night of my wedding. She also did my bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law. The all looked terrific. Giselle is very professional and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend her. She was terrific!!!
