Giselle is a gem! She is an incredibly talented and experienced hair stylist who managed to transform my nascent ideas into the perfect hairstyle for my wedding. She found clip-on hair extensions for me that worked perfectly, and she fastened Swarovski crystals into my hairstyle, which I loved! She also did a fantastic job with the bridesmaids, flower girls, and mothers, all of whom raved about her work all evening. Giselle also is a delight to work with -- very pleasant and professional. She was a great pick!

Giselle is a truly gifted hair stylist! It is amazing to watch her create a fabulous updo in as little as 15 minutes. After she styled my hair (along with 8 others ladies) at my best friend’s wedding last year, I knew I had to hire her for my own wedding.

On my wedding day, Giselle styled my hair along with my 3 bridesmaids, my mother, and my flower girl. She works quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly. She was there a few minutes early so she could set-up her work station and get started with the first person right on time. She adhered to the schedule (yet was very flexible with adjustments to it) and even finished with about twenty minutes to spare. My bridal party and I received so many compliments on our hair, and the updos stayed beautiful all night long with very few minor hairspray touch-ups (Giselle gives you a small bottle of hairspray and extra bobby pins for this).

Giselle takes her time to make sure she understands what it is that the bride truly wants. She is as sweet as can be and clearly takes great pride in her work. At the trials, she works with you to try out multiple styles and takes many photos for you to reflect on once you leave her studio. And believe me, she is not satisfied until you are satisfied with the end result. I would highly recommend Giselle to any bride who wants a beautiful hairstyle on her wedding day! Thanks Giselle!!

I never usually write reviews but I am so happy with my experience with Giselle that I had to write one. Let me start by saying that I had to plan my entire wedding (in DC) from Australia so I relied heavily upon reviews on this site to decide which vendors to use. Giselle had so much positive feedback I thought I would be in good hands and I was absolutely right. She was so professional throughout our time together and was quick to respond to any questions I had. We had two trials together and even when I thought I had the style I wanted I ended up changing it the day of my wedding. Giselle was so accommodating and said it was fine to change my mind, that we would do whatever I wanted. I couldn't believe how quickly (and perfectly) she whipped up my new hairstyle, all without any trial beforehand. I cannot recommend her enough and could not have imagined having anyone else do my hair on my special day. Thank you Giselle!

Outstanding. I planned my wedding in DC from London and Giselle was always very responsive which was a great comfort in the run up to my big day. It was a pleasure working with Giselle, she is a real talent who takes great care in her work. She listened carefully to my requirements and more than exeeded my expectations. I LOVED MY HAIR :-)

Giselle was amazing! My hair has never looked better and the style lasted all night -- I was so happy. A friend commented that my hair looked as good at the end of the reception as it did when I walked down the aisle!

In addition, Giselle patiently worked with me to find a style that looked good and I felt comfortable with. I appreciated Giselle's expertise as I worked with her to find a style that suited me, but would also work well in the high humidity of DC in July.

On the wedding day itself, Giselle's calm presence was a huge asset and she was so fun to work with. My mom is still talking about how good her hair looked, and she is so impressed that Giselle knew exactly what to do with her thick, wavy hair within seconds of meeting her.

giselle did everything she could to make me and my bridal party happy on my wedding day! she was super adaptable and listened carefully to everyone's wants and needs as well as prepared in advance so she was ready and efficient on the big day.
plus, she has a great personality and brought everyone a goody bag with complimentary beauty supplies-- as a very picky person, i would highly recommend her to any bride, no matter what style she is!

I cannot say enough about Giselle. First, as a person she is super sweet. She listens well and has so much patience. You can tell her only goal is to provide an exceptional product while making the customer happy. Second, as an stylist she really knows her craft. I had a very complicated updo that involved the addition of extensions and inserts and it felt solid as a rock and super light (considering how much I had to add to my hair). I do not have a lot of hair, but you would never have figured that on the day of my wedding. She also did my mom's hair, my flower girl's hair, and all of my bridesmaids...and they all look fabulous! And, all of our hair stayed put the entire day. Hands down one of the best decisions I made during my wedding. Oh, and we recruited her services for our rehearsal dinner. I got the long, sexy locks that I wanted, and my mom got her sophisticated up do. It really showcased her range. Thanks, Giselle!

Oh, and I am very happy she had me do two trials. We made some essential last minute changes that I knew would have been bad to make under the pressure the day of. Plus, it gave us a chance to play around with the style a bit.

Giselle did an amazing job for my wedding on july 9th, 2011. She did my hair and my mom and aunt. We were really happy. I have curly hair and how she did it , it stayed all night long and didn't need any touch ups. She is very quick and patient and sweet personality. I recommend her to all the brides.

Giselle was so wonderful! I was looking for someone that would keep my natural curls and not straighten them. Giselle was great at keeping my curls and working with them to give me beautiful hair (that lasted all night with no frizz!) on my wedding day. I will go back to her any time I need my hair done for something formal!!!!! She responded to emails right away, was flexible with her scheduling (even though she had her neice's wedding the same weekend) and was all around great to work with!

I can not say enough about how wonderful Giselle has been. Giselle provided her talent in doing my hair for my wedding, my mother, sister, bridesmaids and flower girls. Everyones hair looked absolutely perfect. I had 2 trial runs with giselle and every time I walked out very happy about how my hair looked. I thought there was no way it could possibly look better. Giselle proved me wrong though, on the day of my wedding, my hair was more than I could have ever dreamed of. I have never received so many compliments on my hair in my life. Everyones hair that she did at my wedding was perfect as well, including the flower girls whose hair looked absolutely adorable yet very elegant! Giselle arrived early. She was set up and ready to go before I even arrived! She was so professional, sweet and really wanted to make me look the best I could possibly look. She took into consideration my dress, veil and jewelry when helping me decide what hair style would be best for me and she was exactly right. Giselle has so many connections in the wedding industry and also set me up with a fabulous makeup artist who also helped pull my whole look together. The week before my wedding I had a Henna party and Giselle did my hair for that also. I would it down with extensions and Giselle applied them. It was done so naturally everyone thought it was my real hair!! I would absolutely recommend Giselle to anyone needing to have their hair done for a special occasion, she is well worth every penny and she will not stop until you are happy and your hair looks flawless. She's very easy to talk to and she listens to what you really want. I am so thankful I had her at my wedding and she will defiantly be the one to do my hair at any other event that comes up for me!!

Giselle did a fantastic job with my hair as well as my mom's and my mother-in-law's hair on my wedding day. She arrived on time and was very thorough, efficient and quick- she was able to finish a head of schedule without compromising the quality of her work. She even gave my mom a quick trim on the spot because a few of her layers had started to grow out. She is extremely professional, patient, understanding and most of all, very talented! I received so many compliments on my updo that day and best of all, it lasted all day (12 hours!)! She is definitely worth it- I highly recommend her!

Giselle is an incredibly talented hair stylist. I couldn't decide if I wanted my hair up or down for my wedding so I had many trials with Giselle. And each time she listened to me, was patient, had lots of ideas, and did an amazing job. The trials were totally worth it because I absolutely LOVED my hair on my wedding day! I couldn't have been happier with it. My hair was perfect and stayed put for nearly 12 hours. I highly highly recommend Giselle to everyone!!

Giselle created a beautiful hairdo for my wedding that lasted all night, despite an incredibly humid day, a long party, and lots of boisterous dancing. She did hair for all the women in the wedding party, and everybody looked fantastic and felt gorgeous. Giselle came to the location, was extremely professional, and did a fantastic job interpreting what everybody wanted done with their hair. She left me complete with a kit to maintain my hair (and the flowers in it!) over the course of the evening.

Giselle was amazing to work with and did a phenomenal job on my hair and my bridal party's hair!!! She was so patient and really understood my vision for what I wanted on my day. When I told her I wanted a half-up hairstyle with a little bit of height in the front, she knew exactly how to accomplish want I wanted. My hair stayed all night, even with a long veil and a ton of dancing during the reception. I received so many compliments throughout the night and following the wedding about my hair. Giselle did an amazing job both at my trials and the actual wedding day. She tried different hairstyles to complement my dress. On my actual wedding day my hair stayed all day and night even though it rained a little. She does hair quick but it's great quality. I am very pleased with her work!
