Truly the BEST!

Working with Tiphany and Elegant Affairs was the best choice we made in our wedding planning journey. John and I had the best wedding day ever with the help of Tiphany!! She went above and beyond to help make all the details come together day off. We chose the Day of Coordination planning package. My only regret is that we didn’t choose a package that had more support in the early planning phase because all of Tiphany’s ideas were amazing! 😊

**Incredibly Talented Team!**

Working with Lori and Tiphany was a dream! From the first conversation to the wedding day, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Tiphany was so easy to work with, highly organized, and fun to be around! Lori officiated our day and was present all day for wedding coordination. Must hire Elegant Affairs for your special day!

We are thrilled to share our experience with Elegant Affairs. Since we had hired all of our vendors ourselves and did most of the design aspect of our wedding, we knew we wanted to hire someone to help us coordinate our rehearsal day and wedding day. Lori exceeded our expectations in every way possible! She is professional and knows what she’s doing. She was incredibly responsive with every email, made great suggestions on bringing the final touches together, and gives out great energy that gets you excited for your big day. She took the time to understand our needs, created detailed schedules that helped the flow of each day and took charge when necessary. We had 32 people in our wedding party and she handled it like a champ. They took off the pressure and helped insure our day was spent being present and carefree. Working with Elegant Affairs made our wedding day even more magical. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Tiphany the Wonderful

We quite literally couldn't be happier with our decision to have Tiphany as our wedding planner. From start to finish, she exceeded all of our expectations and made our special day absolutely perfect!! We were so lucky to have Lori on our side as well, she is an incredible resource and person as well.

Tiphany's attention to detail, creativity, and dedication were evident in every aspect of our wedding. Her professionalism and calm demeanor ensured that everything ran smoothly up to and the day-of, and she was always available to answer our questions and provide reassurance. I don't think you can find a more dedicated person anywhere! Tiphany took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life in ways we couldn't have imagined.. 8.25.23 Double Venue Wedding!

I had the pleasure of working with Tiphany and Lori on my big day (8/25/23). I had met with over a dozen wedding coordinators and Tiphany made me feel the most at ease. Once we had our initial meeting I knew Elegant Affairs would be perfect! I personally am quite a planner and Tiphany recognized that immediately and knew that a day of coordinator was all I needed. I felt heard and not pressured at all which is what I had experienced from other businesses or potential coordinators.

The most challenging part about my wedding was that I had a separate location for the ceremony and reception. That didn't seem to be a concern for Tiphany and Lori. Both of them knew of my venues and had tons of experience working at each location. Lori and Tiphany took the time to complete a full walk through at each venue and were amazing help in asking questions I hadn't thought of. We had a plan A-Z for anything that could've happened.

Lori handled everything at our wedding ceremony venue (Thornewood Castle) and Tiphany handled everything at our reception venue (Pioneer Park Pavilion). I cannot praise these women enough. I got to thoroughly enjoy my wedding day from start to finish without anyone pestering me. These ladies handled EVERYTHING. Lori helped me with an alternative send off and constructed a balloon arch in MINUTES! Lori was amazing during all of the photos and had even worked with our photographer (Jerome Tso) many, many times and knew exactly what he was looking for in each of our shots. While Lori was managing Thornewood, Tiphany was hard at work with another assistant decorating our reception venue. Tiphany handled setup and all of our vendors arrival times. She thought of things that I hadn't and made the reception venue look beautiful.

I am Cambodian and it was incredibly important for my family and I to incorporate our culture and tradition into the reception. Tiphany managed everything that was thrown her way, even if hiccups arose. She wasnt afraid to jump in and make it such a seamless event. Tiphany made sure that I had food, water, lipgloss and everything in between!

I received SO many compliments from our guests about how seamless both the ceremony and reception were. I honestly have no idea how these women kept on our schedule, but they did! We were even AHEAD of schedule mostly and the credit entirely goes to Elegant Affairs. I wish we could do iy all again because of how amazing the day was.

Highly Recommend!

Elegant Affairs was an incredible team to work with on our wedding day. Specifically Tiphany Thomas, who we hired as the day of coordinator. She kept prompt communication, scheduled meetings and took care of our vendor contracts. Everything turned out better than expected and went so smoothly. She kept us on our timeline, made sure as bride & groom we had a few moments to ourselves and made cleaning up and exiting the venue a smooth process. A stress-free wedding day!

Tiphany and Lori were absolutely amazing! They were kind, professional, and empathetic. They made us feel confident that our day was going to be great, and they had the skills to make sure that it was. When there were issues with a catering company on the day of the reception, they took care of it so well we didn't even know there had been a problem until the next day. Above and beyond!

Elegant Affairs, and specifically Tiphany Thomas, have been total life-savers when it comes to coordinating my wedding. I hired Tiphany as my day-of coordinator. Tiphany was prompt in reaching out to schedule meetings with me and my then-fiancé, took full ownership over communication with vendors, provided vendor discounts, helped with a very detailed itinerary, provided expert advice, and did anything and everything I could have hoped for. I truly did not have any tasks on my wedding day other than to enjoy myself. I consider myself a detailed and organized person, and thought I could handle it on my own, but Tiphany truly made my life so much easier when it came to wedding planning. Lori and Tiphany of Elegant Affairs were absolutely amazing.

We decided to have our destination wedding in Seattle after falling in love with the city after a trip in 2019. Being that we live in Florida we thought that having a wedding planner on the ground would be essential. We interviewed several other wedding planners but immediately clicked with Lori.

She has a very calming yet attentive personality so we could tell that we were in good hands from the first zoom call. The planning process followed her script and she and her team did the heavy lifting of reviewing, contracting and communicating with vendors. We had 5 or 6 zoom calls from the 10 months or so from when we signed with her to the wedding and felt like she had everything under control at all times. Most importantly when our venue had to break our contract about 3 weeks before the wedding she was able to secure a completely new venue that was amazing and everything went off without a hitch.

I'm not certain how long she's been doing weddings in the PNW but she seemed to have relationships with all of the venues, DJs and florists we were interested in. The day off coordination from her and Tiphany was impeccable and again another curveball happened where our Officiant couldn't travel to the wedding at the last minute so Lori stepped up to officiate as well. I can't say enough positive things about Lori, Tiphany and Elegant Affairs. 10 out of 10 stars.

Elegant Affairs is simply excellent!

My husband and I found Elegant Affairs after hours of Google searches and review readings. After the initial video chat with Lori it was obvious they were the best choice. From day one of our contract, Lori was easy to get ahold of and encouraging of all of our ideas. She made vendor meetings and communication easy and was able to help us land our dream vendors for the wedding day. Our rehearsal was a cakewalk and loads of fun with Lori directing our wedding party and family. When I arrived on my wedding day all I had to worry about was getting ready as I knew our dream was going to be executed. Lori and Tiphany had clearly listened during our planning meetings and got to know my husband and me, which allowed them to put together the dreamiest wedding day. From start to finish the day ran smoothly and effortlessly thanks to them. Your life will never be the same again! Hire Lori for your wedding!

It’s been a month since my wedding and I still can’t believe how perfect that day was for my husband and I. Our family and friends have not stopped raving about how flawlessly the day went and how beautiful everything was.

We hired Lori in 2021 and from the start she helped us plan every single detail of how our wedding day would go. The best part of working with her is how prepared, knowledgeable and professional she is. You can trust her with anything, literally. She works with some of the best vendors and will help coordinate everything, seriously. As a plus, she makes an amazing hype woman but she’s also a great officiant.

When we ran into some issues with our original venue one month out from our wedding date, she found us the most amazing replacement venue and seamlessly made sure all our vendors were aware of the change. She saved the day! As a result, our day was better than we could have imagined and we’ve created some of the best memories from that day. If you’re considering hiring a wedding planner, there’s life before you’ve met Lori at Elegant Affairs WA and life afterwards, and life afterwards is better. Lori is an All-Star Wedding Planner

Lori is an absolute all-star wedding planner. Starting our engagement before the pandemic Lori helped us plan a normal 220 person wedding, an intimate Covid friendly 60 person wedding, and finally our 180 person 3 day Indian wedding that happened in August of 2021. Lori was able to help us navigate the ever-shifting requirements of the pandemic and keep us calm and organized during a time of a lot of uncertainty. Lori is professional, fun to work with, and is a fierce advocate for her clients. She handled all of our vendor contracts and communications, and made sure we got what we were promised. She also has a great list of vendors for you to pick from should you not know who to go with (we ended up using her suggestions for floral, DJ, and linen/tent rentals). If you are looking for someone who allows your wedding vision to shine while making sure all the pieces come together in a perfect package, Lori is the wedding planner you need to seek out.

Like Family

If you haven't hired a wedding planner yet, do so asap. But don't just hire any old wedding planner, hire Lori and her team at Elegant Affairs. We first got to see Lorin in action at our cousin's destination wedding in Cabo. We were very impressed that she could throw a wedding in another country. We hired her when the wedding planning became too complicated and stressful. Which it will always be. It was like having a best friend/mom plan everything. She picked up our style right away and was so on top of everything. We had zero worries. Even during Covid, everything went off without a problem. Our wedding was magical and perfect and we owe it all to Lori. She even officiated for us and made me cry multiple times. She wasn't just our wedding planner she became a close friend. Exceptional Service and Professionalism

We didn't know what to expect from a wedding planner, except we knew we didn't want the stress associated with dealing with multiple vendors, venue set up, etc. Elegant Affairs made our lives so much easier! In addition to dealing with the vendors and venue setup, they did an amazing job setting up our rehearsal dinner, preparing the wedding party for the wedding day, and doing exceptional work on the wedding day. On the wedding day, everything worked out so smoothly! We had no stress at all because we knew our competent and professional planners had a plan for any and every scenario of something that could go awry. Hire Lori Now!

If you just got engaged, your first step should be to hire Lori! Words can't even describe how amazing Lori is at her job. Not only did she help us secure all of our vendors and execute our vision exactly as we had planned it, she also is an amazing human and became a close friend of ours. All of her vendor recommendations were fantastic and made our lives so much easier! I am a very "Type A" person and I enjoy overcommunication, Lori was great at keeping us in the loop every step of the way. She went out of her way to respond to the late night texts and emails and I knew my wedding was in great hands with her. The day of, her team flawlessly executed everything - even with a few bumps due to ferries causing delays! My husband and I got to be guests at our own wedding with no stress setting up or taking down the event. Brides, let me start by saying, YOU NEED A PLANNER. As an Event Professional with nearly 20 years of experience I vowed (a decade before I DO) to hire a wedding planner the moment I became engaged.
Fast forward… and I went down the path of hiring someone, but I just didn’t find the right fit.
When it comes to a wedding, it all comes down to surrounding yourself with people you TRUST.
After 19 months of being engaged, three delays, anxiety, and family feuds… I was a my breaking point. I interviewed four wedding planners, called all of my corporate contacts, even offered to fly my own team up to Seattle… Then, I met my fairy god-sister Lori! From the moment we met, I knew she had my back. I could lean on her to keep me accountable to my final details (with less than 8 weeks to go). Odds were stacked against us…180 person wedding in 2021?!? She handled me (my expectations), the catering crew, the band, and all our vendors with a grace and conviction. Lori is Amazing!

I don’t think we know where to truly begin to describe the amazing experience we had with Lori at Elegant Affairs.

We were one her many couples whose weddings were impacted by the pandemic. We started working with Lori in May of 2019 for what was originally going to be a September 2020 wedding. She professionally and gracefully shifted our entire list of vendors - and even found us an amazing videographer to add to the list - to May 2021.

Obviously, moving our wedding was disappointing - but it meant we got to work with Lori for two full years - and that we would never change! Her ability to organize and coordinate the entirety of our big day created a seamless and stress-free experience for us, our families, and our wedding party.

Having a May 2021 wedding meant it was one of the first big events most of our friends and family had attended in over a year. Everyone only had wonderful things to say and were so impressed by Lori’s attention to every last detail.

If you have ever considered hiring a wedding coordinator - stop thinking about it and hire Lori! You absolutely will not regret it.

Amazing, would have been lost without her!

Elegant Affairs was exactly what we needed

My husband and I have been working with Lori for the past 14 months to plan our wedding. Not only did she plan the perfect day for us, she planned 3 perfect days for us because we were planning a wedding during a global pandemic. We pivoted dates, size, venues, pretty much anything you can pivot, we did, and Lori was the glue that held it all together, including our sanities. She kept telling us "If I'm not freaking out, then you don't need to be," which was all the assurance we needed. Our wedding day turned out to be even better than our original vision and Lori executed it all and made it run so smoothly.

We hired Lori and Elegant Affairs because I wanted to be able to enjoy being engaged and wedding planning and I knew I wouldn't be able to do that if I was constantly worrying about things I didn't have any idea about. Lori has planned so many weddings and is such a pleasure to work with that we knew we were in good hands. If you're thinking of hiring a wedding planner, first of all, do it and secondly, make it Elegant Affairs. It was more than worth it to us!

Hire Elegant Affairs!

What else can we say except... Lori and her team are amazing! We hired Lori in early 2019 for our May 2020 wedding. They were the very first vendor we booked! We knew how good she was and had seen Lori in action at my sister's wedding in 2015 and at another friend's wedding in 2017.

Lori was always available to take our calls/texts or answer our emails. In March 2020, she helped us postpone our wedding date to August 9. Two weeks before our wedding, we lost our venue due to the new COVID rules. She helped us move our ceremony to my dad's backyard with literally days to go. She decorated and cleaned up the whole ceremony space as well as keeping everyone on track the entire day. Not to mention, she's such a treat to be around - so positive and willing to help!

Lori worked so hard to make our special day happen, even during a pandemic. You won't be disappointed when you hire Elegant Affairs! Thank you Lori!

Amazing and incredibly helpful wedding planner!! Lori was on top of everything and handled our covid wedding plans with so much positivity and grace!

We initially hired Elegant Affairs as part of our venue's requirements and we are SO glad we did! Looking back, there is no way I could have done it without her. Lori was responsive, flexible and proactive throughout everything! When our first venue dropped after Covid changed things, Lori was immediately on the look out for our next venue. A few days later, we found the venue of our dreams that we couldn't have found without her. During the whole process, she checked in frequently and communicated with us clearly and efficiently. Absolutely Incredible

I don’t think I would have had my dream wedding if it wasn’t for Lisa at Elegant Affairs!! After being engaged and planning a wedding for over a year and a half, getting married in the middle of a pandemic was not what me and my husband ever imagined. We had the bumpiest rollercoaster ride of ups and downs, twists and turns, and constantly changing guidelines. Lisa is the #1 reason why our wedding turned out to the be the dream we were hoping for. She was constantly communicating with us about everything and always checking in. Downsizing our wedding, adjusting our original plans, and communicating with vendors was an easy process because she was so involved in every planning part possible. The day of the wedding itself was so seamless. It felt stress free, completely organized, and an absolute dream. She ensured that all of our visions came true but still fit within guidelines for a pandemic wedding. I’m truly speechless about how incredible she was to work with. We hired a planner but ended up with a life time friend. I would 10/10 recommend her for all your wedding needs. (Sometimes I wish she could be my life planner too!)

Ultra responsive, professional and efficient planning service

Lori from Elegant Affairs was the first wedding vendor I hired after finding a venue. I knew I wanted a planner to help alleviate the stress of planning but I did not know exactly in what ways a planner would help as I’d never planned a wedding. In a sense, I hired Lori almost blindly, not knowing what I had signed up for. Now looking back, I was very lucky to find Lori and also very lucky to have a planner from the very beginning

I don’t know about other planners, but Lori is the MOST responsive and organized person I’ve encountered in my personal and professional life. All my texts / Emails were responded within hours, or if she's occupied, she'd tell me she’s busy but would get back to me by xx time / day. The communication style makes life so much easier. She’s also a doer – she executes quickly and decisively

I was engaged in Feb 2019 and the original wedding date was June 2020. Yes, I call it the original because we had to postpone once to late Aug in April, and then had to "cancel" it in July due to COVID. Although we did not end up having the actual wedding day this year, Lori, as the planner, has been by my side along the way and especially helpful when helping me navigate the challenges brought by COVID. I could always text / call her to know what's going on with COVID and the implication to my wedding without having to follow the ever-changing rules and noise in the media myself. She’s also a good listener and counselor when I got stressed out by the rising case numbers

Aside from the graceful COVID help, I’ve also come to realize the value of having a planner in the planning process. Yes, planners help recommend reliable vendors, but there’s so much more to it. Lori has been in the planning business for more than 12 years. The long track record gives her rich resources and knowledge – I had her help on many aspects of planning – from contract review, to navigating conflicts with vendors / venue, to advice on timeline, to thoughts on my random ideas of adding certain decors I saw from ins / Pinterest, etc. Lori has been very open and affirmative to all my random ideas but also not shy of letting me know if something is too wild. Over the course of the past year, we’ve also become friends. We’d talk about things outside of wedding planning.

I’d highly recommend Lori to my friends. She’s passionate, energetic, reliable and highly responsive. She’s a great listener and a phenomenal doer. She definitely makes bride’s life much easier in the planning process.

Lisa Owens

To say Lisa is absolutely amazing is an understatement. We hired Lisa before Covid because being the first wedding of my children, I was lost. What do we do, how do we plan, what’s next? Lisa came in set up all my daughters vendors, etc. with all the restrictions changing daily, she kept us informed and listened to our concerns. I almost want someone else to get married so I can hire her again. I’ve told people we were strangers when we met but we are now life long friends. I would highly recommend Lisa Owens with Elegant Affairs.

Absolutely cannot imagine our wedding day without Lori!

Choosing Lori as our wedding coordinator was one of the absolute best decisions my husband and I could have made to begin our wedding planning process. I must admit, however, as a former Elegant Affairs intern I had firsthand knowledge of the extraordinary organization and attention to detail Lori pays to her events, so when my husband and I got engaged I knew just how huge of a positive impact a coordinator like Lori could have for our big day, and we were so lucky to have been able to book her. There seemed to be tens of thousands of details to consider when we were planning our wedding, and the having Lori to talk to about it all seriously minimized my stress levels. From our first consultation all the way through to the end of our reception and beyond, we knew no detail would be overlooked or ignored or too small.

Having Lori at our wedding meant that my husband and I could truly relax and enjoy ourselves because we were confident that she knew how everything was supposed to go, and if anything came up (which it did) that she would be on it (which she was). I can’t even remember how many times I told friends and family members “Lori’s on it” in the days and weeks leading up to our date, and she truly was. My mom even made a comment that I was much more relaxed than she thought I’d be, and Lori was the one to thank for that. I still don’t know how she does it, but somehow she maintains a perfect balance of professionalism and fun, and at the end of the day she honestly feels like another one of your bridesmaids. She’s upbeat and optimistic and she’s got the exact right personality and energy you want in someone who will be helping you on your wedding day. She never loses sight of what the wedding is really all about and she is effective in understanding what your priorities are and making sure that your vision comes to life. On the morning of our wedding, my mom gifted me an embroidered handkerchief that she had had on her bouquet, her mom had on hers and even her mom before that. 4 generations of women in my family had had this special heirloom on their wedding day and if it weren’t for Lori it may well have been lost forever. I’m so appreciative she kept her eye out, and that she realized it was an important piece of my family history. Thanks to Lori it’s something I might be able pass on to a daughter of my own someday.
My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time on our day, and we hosted a brunch with our new joines families the next morning. They relayed everything Lori had done to fix a few unfortunate mishaps, but we had been completely unaware that anything had gone awry because she quickly dealt with it on our behalf. We had no idea how busy she had been smoothing out those few unfortunate wrinkles that came up throughout the day, and unbeknownst to us, she was an absolute rockstar and filled in where other vendors dropped the ball. We can’t imagine our wedding day without Lori and I only hope that she’s available so that when my friends and siblings get married I can give them the gift of Lori’s services as well, as she made our day go that much more smoothly. Believe me when I say: You NEED this woman! Love you Lori!

Wow so much positive to say about Elegant Affairs and Lori who helped us through every step of the way leading up to the wedding and the day of, always got back to me in time, helped me make the best decisions, always kept in contact with all my vendors and made sure everything was on time and perfect for us and MORE. Obviously this is my first wedding and after my wedding I couldn’t have been happier to have went with even getting a wedding planner! We had our wedding when the whole coronavirus was going on and she stood by our side every step of the way, bless her heart, was tough for us but we made it through. Wedding Planner

Lori was AMAZING with helping us plan our dream wedding!! She would get back to any text or email wicked fast and knew all the best vendors to trust with our vision for our wedding. Not only did she make planning fun and way less stressful, but the actual wedding day went off without a hitch (at least that we were aware of)! Best wedding planner to bring your fairytale wedding come true

Hiring Lori and Elegant Affairs was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for planning and wedding coordination. She is a wealth of information, years of experience and just fun. She took the stress out of the day and honestly we enjoyed planning the wedding with her help. My whole goal for our wedding weekend was to hand over the reins to our wedding planner to maximize distressing the event and being present for the day. Lori exceeded these expectations. Incredible experience with Elegant Affairs

We simply couldn't be happier with our experience with Lori.

Lori was extremely professional and responsive throughout the entire planning/coordinating process. While we got married in the Seattle area we were living in California which certainly added some additional stress to our planning. Lori was amazing and helped work around our busy schedules making sure everything was ready for the wedding. She always had a prompt answer to every question and concern. I never had any doubts that she would make sure everything ran smoothly for our big day-and she did just that! From last minute escort card set up to feeding hungry rogue flower girls, Lori was there to handle it all without missing a beat.

Fun & Fierce

My husband and I worked directly Lori throughout our planning and even after our wedding! Lori handled everything we could have needed and more (things we didn’t even know about). With an hour plus drive between us Lori was so flexible and accommodating for meetings in person (which were a blast) and was always available and responsive through email, text, phone calls. Lori helped guide us to the majority of our vendors, she has so much experience and insight that we didn’t have to waste time vetting folks; you can trust her recommendations!! She holds the vendor accountable so you don’t have to and even makes sure your contracts are fair and cover your butt ;)!

Lori and Elegant Affairs day of work was amazing! I enjoy creating and if I thought I could do it all myself I would have, but thankfully Lori totally understand what I wanted after thorough and thoughtful questions and planning and built a confidence in me so that I could focus on the important things on my wedding day. I didn’t think about anything except enjoying and celebrating our love the day of because I knew Lori would fiercely deliver - and she did!!!

I could on forever but bottom line is This is a vendor you can trust and you’ll have fun working with to boot!

Lori is the BEST!

Contacting Lori was the very first 'to do' on my list, post saying "YES!" to an epic marriage proposal. I had known Lori personally for a few years and was SO excited to work with her more closely, get to know her better and have her lead the wedding planning charge for our special day. Lori is worth more than GOLD! She is over the top experienced, personable, smart, very professional and super fun! Many times, throughout our months of planning and prep, my parents, in-laws and friends would share with me how amazing, knowledgeable and how happy they were that Lori was such a huge part of this process and I couldn’t agree more. Lisa w/ elegant affairs made my elegant wedding dream come true!

I've said it a million times and I'll continue to say it -- saying "Yes" the day Michael proposed was the first easiest and best decision I've made -- hiring Lisa with Elegant affairs was the second easiest and best decision I made for our wedding!!! I had gone to a wedding that Lori with Elegant Affairs did the year prior and it was the smoothest flowing wedding I had ever been too and I've been to over 30 weddings in my 26 years of life!
These ladies and their timeline are the piece to the puzzle every wedding needs!!!!
Lisa not only kept me sane throughout the planning processes but she made my elegant wedding vision come to life!!!
During this last year when I would mention to someone that we had a wedding/day of coordinator their response was always, " I wish I would've had one for my wedding." Made our day perfect

It is difficult to describe just how amazing Lori is! Lori coordinated our wedding and it was the second time my family has worked with her. We will never plan an event without her in the future. She is organized and has great attention to detail. My husband and I were able to completely enjoy our day knowing that Lori had it all handled. Lori created a checklist for us to complete to make sure we had all the important items like a marriage license and all necessary permits for the big day. She wrote us a timeline for the day of so everyone knew where they were suppose to be and when. Lori was very responsive to the many emails we sent prior to the wedding day. A Wedding Planner like Lori is a MUST

Lori is amazing to work with. She is on your side through the entire process. We had an awful situation where the venue double booked. Book Lori today!

From the beginning, I, more than my husband, wanted a wedding coordinator. It was going to be a big wedding at the Seattle Aquarium so I was perfectly happy to outsource most of the arranging and coordinating to a professional who has done and seen it all. This is what I found in Lori Losee (owner and senior planner of Elegant Affairs) who, by the way, is one of only 7 preferred coordinators in the aquarium’s list. She was extremely responsive, flexible, detailed, highly organized, while managing to be creative and positive throughout the whole process. She reviewed all our vendor contracts, created detailed timelines, did the coordination with our different vendors, while gently reminding us to take lessons for our first dance.

So after 8 months of planning, the day of the wedding came and it was amazing. Talk about sticking the landing! Our families and friends were wowed by the event and the venue. And my husband and I were in the moment to take it all in and enjoy it. The success of the day is due in no small part to the work of Lori and her team. If I didn’t hire Lori for the wedding I would have needed and been forced to hire a therapist. It was vastly more fun hiring her. So don’t hesitate, book her today!

Absolutely wonderful and magnificent

For every couple/bride/groom-to-be, Lori is the planner that you need by your side and she is nothing short of MAGNIFICENT! Over the last several years, I have had the privilege of witnessing many of the amazing weddings that Lori has been at the helm of planning and coordinating. Each was very pleasing to the eye, well-orchestrated, and incredibly organized from start-to-finish. With each of those couples, I was able to experience the fun that came with the opportunity to be stress-free, which is how many of the brides felt during their wedding day, and was a 180 degree difference from several other friends experiences. I knew that the most important element of any wedding planning for me would require the ability to balance the stress of a wedding with day-to-day life and work, so as soon as I saw that it was possible, I knew exactly who I was going to call when it was my turn. We called Lori in the peak of wedding season, and even though we were getting married over a year later, we never felt less important than the bride getting married that upcoming weekend. At the end of every meeting, phone call, or email exchange she leaves you feeling prepared and ready for anything that can come your way. She also brings with her a wealth of fellow collaborative vendors to ease your mind as you are deciding on caterers, photographers and venues. I cannot say enough for the work and love that Lori put into our day, but I do know that I couldn't have done it without her.

When my previous wedding planner quit halfway through the year, I was panicked not having anything booked or any help and it was 7 months until the wedding! I got in contact with Lori Losee and I am SO SO grateful I went with this company. Lori made sure I felt confident and relaxed but also was very organized and I knew exactly what had to be done. INCREDIBLE! Lori is the best!

Don't hesitate - book Lori right now. We were one of those couples that didn't think we needed a wedding coordinator. We were required to have a day of coordinator by our venue so after months of planning on our own, we called Lori. From day 1 I wished that I had pulled the trigger months before. She organized what we had previously planned, clarified details, was an incredibly helpful coach at getting through the to do list in the month before, and helped every single one of our vendors show up as their best on the day of. Most importantly - Lori is the best kind of friend you want to meet. Her selfless nature will blow you away and her professionalism takes so much weight off of the couple's shoulders. I am so so happy that she was next to us in those last few weeks - I only wish it could have been for longer!

Wow! Looking for wedding planner look no further

Where do I begin. This Crew is top-notch top notch from beginning to end. Nothing was forgotten everything was perfect. Lori and her crew are amazing. She had every little detail from a complete Moment by moment itinerary for all involved in the wedding. 2 every single little detail you can imagine. I felt like I was on the set of the J-Lo wedding planner something went wrong with my flowers and her crew immediately fixed it perfectly. They were extremely attentive to everyone's needs they made sure everything happened when it was supposed to happen to the letter. They made sure we exited the venue timely they made you sure any issues were promptly addressed so there was no stress on the bride, the mother of the bride, the mother of the groom. She made sure that everything went smoothly and any behind-the-scenes glitches were unrecognizable. She knows her stuff and she's excellent at her job . Everyone that she recommended, outside vendors also top notch! If you are looking for a wedding planner, she's the one!!

Destination Wedding with Elegant Affairs

I have had the fortune to work with Elegant Affairs and specifically Lori - not once, not twice, but THREE times.

I first met Lori when I was the Maid of Honor in my best friend’s wedding. It was the only wedding I had ever attended where all the details were handled, and I was able to enjoy the day along with the bride and groom. I left that event knowing that Elegant Affairs had to plan my wedding (I wasn’t even engaged yet).

Fast forward one and a half years, and I was now engaged. We started to plan our wedding and we landed on a destination event and an in-town reception. This furthered my resolve that Lori was going to be critical to making our dreams a reality. Lori not only helped us plan a wedding in Cabo San Lucas (in addition to the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and welcome happy hour), she also planned out the entire reception back home.

Lori makes her brides and their significant other feel like they are the only two people in the world. When she has a planning meeting with you, she really listens and makes sure that what is important to you is present on your special day.

She also is a negotiation ninja – be it in the markets in Mexico while we were picking out the décor for our reception, or on the phone with vendors who wanted to charge a crazy fee for upgraded chairs, she went to bat for us time and time again.

Without Lori we wouldn’t have been connected with our amazing photographer Eric James whose talents were above and beyond our expectations, or the incredibly talented Shane from Oak and Fig Floral who helped build table scrapes that our family and friends are still talk about. Even her husband Steve pitched in and acted as a bouncer when a group of people tried to crash our small 50-person wedding. Lori built us a team of people who were able to far exceed our wildest dreams and she did it on time, on budget, and in a foreign country.

Having a wedding planner for some people may seem like an added expense. However, I strongly encourage you to consider what you want your day to look like. Working with Lori provides the bride all the fun of planning the wedding without the drama. Through this process my husband and I not only got the wedding of our dreams, but we also gained lifelong friends. I cannot recommend Lori and her team enough, if you are on the fence I would encourage you to at least call and set up an initial meeting. I promise you won’t regret it!

Elegant Affairs is MARVELOUS!

Lori Losee planned and coordinated our September 2018 wedding. You may wonder why it took so long to write a review; honestly, there is no way to describe all the many details and nuances that Lori covers to give you the best day of your life.

Lori is a bulldog wrapped up in a sorority sister masquerading as a ninja. She created the exact wedding of our imaginations, giving recommendations and design insights. Lori took the stress of dealing with contracts and coordinating vendors; freeing us up to enjoy the design, DYI, friend and family bonding of the wedding planning process. She is the friend you want, the voice of reason you need, and the planner of your dreams!

With Lori helming the staff at Elegant Affairs, they delivered a day that was whimsical, sophisticated, a little quirky and full of love. They delivered a day that was all us! Amazing service, 1000% recommend!

Do yourself a favor and hire Lori at Elegant Affairs. She is amazing. When we first met with Lori, we explained that we wanted a small, simple wedding at our home (20-25 guests). We wanted it to be more like a house party, less like a wedding…and she delivered...big time!

From planning, decorations, seating, recommendations on a photographer, to writing the perfect script for our ceremony and backing us up when the caterer decided to bail...Lori was fantastic. Every one of our guests had a great time, everything came together. Even when we surprised her at the last minute with some minor changes (like when we told her a week before the wedding that he had a live band coming), she was professional, and on top of it all. Nothing fazed her!

Seriously people...if you want a professional who delivers at a great price and provides an amazing ceremony and event...she’s the one I’d recommend!

We Love Lori!

I am so glad that Lori was our coordinator! She was so helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. Even before she was "on the clock" she was available by email to answer questions about other vendors, the venue, or any other funny little wedding detail. She was amazing at the wedding, making sure that everything ran smoothly while we all got to have fun! There is no way our wedding would have been as lovely if she hadn't been running things behind the scenes. Not only is she an absolute BOSS at her job, she is fun to be around and made me feel calm, cool, and collected when I'd email her with a litany of questions. Help Your Wedding Dreams Blossom Into Reality

I met Lori at one of my best friend's wedding the summer before mine. As I watched her work I was totally amazed at how smooth and easy she was making things look. I am pretty stubborn so I started planning my wedding thinking about how I was going to be so organized and have everything be efficient. So I started looking and picking out vendors and reading advice online and I instantly became overwhelmed and discouraged. I am living in Florida and planning a wedding in Washington. I decided I needed help and reached out to my friend on contacting Lori. Instantly, I knew it was exactly what I needed so I found a package that worked for me. As soon as we paid the deposit, I felt a weight lift from my shoulders. I knew that Lori was going to make everything smooth and easy for my mother and I. AND she did that and more. Best money EVER spent

When my daughter mentioned that she thought a wedding coordinator would be a good idea to help plan/ coordinate her wedding I wasn’t really sure. She had seen Lori of Elegant Affairs in action at her friend’s wedding and described her as “a wedding ninja” who was everywhere and took care of everything. I thought it would be nice to be able to enjoy the day with someone else in charge and luckily Lori was available. Immediately I found out what a great decision we made! Lori had lists of vendors to recommend that she had worked with and helped tailor our team based on fit with my daughter’s vision AND our budget. It was such a relief to have people to book that were guaranteed reliable. Lori saved us more than her fees in prices of vendors guiding us so we knew what we needed and never had to worry that we would forget anything. She personally checked on everything and answered every question quickly and thoroughly. Closer to the wedding, she ran the venue walk through ensuring they would have things set up as we wanted and mapping out where everything would be and how it would run. All this was based on what WE wanted. On the big day Lori and her team organized an all star team of other vendors taking care of every detail even more amazing than we imagined and, best of all, all we had to do was enjoy the day. She is truly the “wedding ninja” and so much more. Now I tell everyone that my most important piece of advice is that you MUST have a wedding planner. Elegant Affairs—best money EVER spent!

All I can say is that I can’t even imagine what my wedding day would have been like without Lisa. She was absolutely wonderful and I didn’t have to worry about a thing on the wedding day. We hired her as our day of coordinator, but she did so much more than just day-of. She responded to emails throughout our entire wedding planning process, she took initiative to get the rental orders going, and was great in organizing a pre-wedding walkthough at the venue to discuss how we wanted everything set up and to create the day of timeline. Lisa brought my wedding visions to life and I couldn’t be happier with how the day turned out. If you are looking for a wedding coordinator, look no further. If the idea of planning a wedding two-thousand miles away wasn’t stressful enough, we were informed by all the websites and magazines that we were already months behind schedule. But our first call with Lori immediately put us at ease. We instantly felt comfortable with her—her kindness and warmth is immediately apparent—but, more importantly, we were impressed with her confidence in her abilities. We got off that first call knowing we didn’t even need to look elsewhere. It was important for us that our planner knew the area well and had plenty of contacts, and Lori/Elegant Affairs definitely covered these requirements. We hired her, though, because we could tell from just one call that there would be an immensely thorough plan of action that would reduce the burden on us. Any questions to her were answered immediately (I have never experienced such quick response times) and any time we would get stressed, Lori would remind us that everything is actually going just great.
The first time we met Lori, we really put her to the test. We had one day in the area cover as much ground and make as many decisions as possible. We knew we were asking a lot, but Lori was more than up for it. She packed our schedule like we asked, but nothing ever felt rushed (and she was even able to squeeze in a meeting with an officiant on the fly). We were a bit anxious about this day, but, once again, Lori managed to reassure us that everything would be impeccably handled. Working remotely with her was comforting, but seeing her in action was a whole different level.
Day of wedding was no exception. All last-minute hurdles were appropriately managed without troubling us. Everything looked immaculate and countless guests remarked to us that they had never been to a wedding that was so well organized. Lori made her presence felt not by directing day-of (no one likes that despotic planner) but by making sure there were absolutely no hiccups. Everything was pitch perfect.

As a mom of 3 girls, I always wondered what my daughters’ wedding days would be like. I am so blessed that I was able to witness two amazing weddings in one year! My oldest, Taryn, met and fell in love with Lori and Elegant Affairs and knew she needed them by her side to help bring her vision to fruition. I don’t know what we would have done without Lori’s expertise, determination and professionalism. She expertly dealt with a very difficult and uncommunicative venue manager to create the perfect day. Although there were many challenges for Lori – we saw none of it and the day was smooth and relaxed. I had so many of my friends comment on how calm I was and how amazing the entire night went!

A month later, my second daughter, Tatum, got engaged and decided on a date less than a year away. She knew she wanted Lori to help her create her perfect day. Once again, Lori and her staff expertly helped facilitate an unforgettable day that perfectly represented Tatum and her husband. Although the two weddings were so different in many ways- both were seamless, smooth and so enjoyable to those of us who were involved.
Having worked in the wedding business myself years ago, I did question if hiring a wedding planner may be an unnecessary extravagance. After all we went through- that thought was quickly erased, and I will never question the value and absolute necessity of having Elegant Affairs assist in my daughter’s weddings. Luckily, I will have a little break until our third daughter is married- but I do know that Lori & Elegant Affairs will be there to create the perfect day! Thank you, Lori, for everything!

Lori and her team were exceptional to work with! Initially we were hesitant to hire a coordinator because we wanted a small wedding without too many moving parts, but explored the idea after speaking with recently wed friends and family. It became apparent during the consultation that there were several aspects we had not yet considered and we left confident that Lori would help ensure a seamless and stress free day. Now looking back, there is no doubt hiring Lori was one of our best wedding planning decisions. She took detailed notes at our venue meetings on everything from decor arrangement to food allergies. On our wedding day Lori and Lisa transformed the space into the twinkling botanical dinner party vibe we envisioned while we were busy hiking through the forest and taking photos. They, together with Spotify, were our music djs, our sparkler lighters, our time keepers, and at the end of the night they returned the space back to its original form. To all brides and their mothers planning a wedding... If you truly want to enjoy your/your daughter's wedding get a wedding planner or day of coordinator! They are worth every penny! Lori Losee and her team were amazing!!!! My daughter and I are big planners and initially felt we really didn't need help but once we realized how many things needed to be done just before or the day of the wedding we promptly hired Lori. Our venue claimed to be all inclusive but we started reading bad reviews, planning information got lost and emails went unanswered in a timely matter or not at all we knew we needed back up. Lori Losee is an amazing, skilled, organized, caring, badass who made my day everything and more! My venue, not to be named, was a challenge at times. Lori stepped in and did the dirty work getting them to respond to our questions and took a lot off my plate. She made sure to keep everything light and happy for me and my husband so we were stress free. Even thought the wedding was a few months ago, Lori is STILL working with me and my family to discuss some complaints to the venue.

On top of planning the wedding, I started a new job, traveled for work, and got a puppy. Wedding planning can be stressful at times, but Lori was there every step of the way and made me feel like a spoiled princess.

If you want a badass who treats you like their only bride, you better hire Lori Losee!

At first my wife and I were going to try planning our wedding on our own. Perhaps the best decision we made in the planning process was scratching that idea and hiring Lisa at Elegant Affairs to take care of us. We had such an amazing experience working with Lisa and couldn’t imagine going through the process without her. I wish we could give a ten star rating especially on value. She was at our beckon call whether it be by email, text, telephone or in person for questions both big and small from the day we hired her until even after the event itself. Weddings are expensive but you won’t find better use of your money than making Elegant Affairs a part of your experience. Not only was Lisa critical to planning the wedding, but the day of was such an incredible and wonderful but fast blur of events we are so thankful she was there to ensure it all happened seemlessly and without need of any stress for us as we were able to just relax and enjoy it! When it came to planning a wedding in Washington while living in California, we encountered a wide range of obstacles; most concerning of which was communication with our venue. We started researching wedding coordinators to help lessen the stress of the situation and didn’t have to look too far. Lori was the very first vendor that I booked for our wedding. As a former Elegant Affairs team member, I knew the quality of service would be unparalleled and she would be with me every step of the way.

Being a designer myself, Lori knew that I would probably try to work on wedding set-up during the morning-of. She kindly took the reigns and ensured me that all I needed to do was relax and be the bride. I trusted her completely and I knew that she and her team would create the most magical of days for me, my husband, and our guests. And boy, did Elegant Affairs deliver! The reception space was set-up exactly as I had imagined and I recieved SO many compliments about how fun and beautiful our day was.

Both the ceremony and reception moved seamlessly and there was never a moment where I felt stress. Even when the caterers had left for the evening and I had forgotten to assign someone the task of cutting our cake, Lori happily stepped in to help! One of my favorite attributes that Lori embodies is her ability to create such light and positivity while juggling multiple tasks. She makes it look effortless.

Getting engaged was one of the most exciting and special days of my life (other than my wedding day of course!). But once the initial excitement wore off, I quickly became overwhelmed with all the little details of wedding planning. Enter Elegant Affairs and Lisa! As soon as my fiancé and I met with Lisa, we both knew we needed her in order to make our big day extra special. And boy were we right!!! From the beginning Lisa was on top of EVERYTHING – always going above and beyond and making sure we worked together as a team. We were planning to be married on top of a mountain with all our friends and family. Fast forward to just THREE days before our wedding – we found out that due to wild fires, we would no longer be able to be married at our venue. I cannot tell you how instrumental Lisa was at this time – she helped us quickly find another venue and made sure our dream wedding was still a HUGE success even with only three days to re-plan the entire thing. Our guests kept asking how we could remain so calm and level-headed given the crazy situation we were in, but it was honestly 100% because of Lisa. She was there every step of the way, taking care of every little detail. We absolutely could not have pulled our wedding off without her. Wow is all I can say! Lisa was the coordinator for our 80 guest military wedding that involved a ceremony on JBlM and a reception 30 min south of there. Lisa was amazing with timelines, assisting with hiring vendors and working with some very difficult vendors we had already booked. She answered every single one of the billion questions we asked from day one to wedding day. I can’t rave enough about how much she helped us with the planning process. The day of the wedding you can imagine there were some hiccups as there always is and she tackled every single one like a pro. As the bride I didn’t know about a single issues that arose until the next day and I was so thankful for that!! We hired Lori and her team for our wedding in August 2016. We had a fairly large wedding so I did not want to think about logistics or anything on my big day. Lori did an AMAZING job making sure everything was set up the way I had imaged. Lori went above and beyond when the wait staff dropped our cake after trying to move it to the back to to cut it. The venue denied it was their fault and Lori made sure we were compensated for the accident. I could not have pulled off this big wedding without her, she is absolutely the best!!

On wedding day, Lori and her team arrived and made my dreams come true. It’s crazy how she just understood my vision and made it come alive. The whole day was perfect! As wedding day approached Lori took over communications with all the vendors and made sure I had a stress free day and that my husband and I got to enjoy our day. The thing I liked best was that Lori is a quick responder, no one wants to wait hours of days when you’re trying to make a decision about your wedding. She is a ton of fun too! Oh, I could go on and on and about how amazing Lori and her team are! I will be forever grateful and thankful that we hired Lori and her team!

When I got engaged I felt completely clueless on everything wedding. I didn't know how I was going to know what to do or where to start. Flash forward a couple months when I met Lori at a wedding I was in. I knew that I needed Lori on my team! I can't imagine my wedding with out Elegant Affairs. She was available for all of my needs leading up to the big day. Vendor recommendations, advise on how much things should cost, reassurance that my contracts where good to sign, she did it all! On the day of everything was stress free and ran so smooth and I know that a lot of that was because of Lori! She was my "wedding muscle" and I am so happy about that!

We are forever grateful for Lori and her team for helping to ensure our wedding day went so beautifully! From the first consultation, Lori knew exactly the right questions to be asking and was able to offer such great advice and suggestions. She was instrumental in the final stages of planning helping with all of the vendor communications and making sure everything was taken care of. Lori and her staff are amazing! 5/5 does not sum up how grateful I am to have had a wedding planner like her. From the moment we met her, she was always on it. Right away, she formulated a plan that worked for my family and I and truly took majority of our wedding stress away. Her focus was always to be efficient and to make sure we were enjoying the process. Lori was always so quick to reply to any text, call or email. Not only is Lori an incredible wedding planner but she truly has a heart of gold and a smile that lights up the room. She always handled each task with extreme professionalism and had a solution to every problem. Lori also has a lot of great connections in the wedding business and makes sure you are getting the best services at the appropriate prices. Lori worked extremely hard for us and made sure that our expectations were being met with all our vendors, if they weren't, she would contact them, again in a very professional mannor to make sure we were happy. I don't even know where to begin, Lori and her team were phenomenal and instrumental in helping us create the perfect day! From our first meeting where we chatted with Lori about our vision to the event, every interaction we had was flawless! My husband and I had a strong vision of what we wanted the day to look like, and Lori helped keep us on track and nail down every last detail! Not to mention that on the day of, there was what felt like an army or helpers to take care of everything! When my florist wanted to charge extra for certain arrangements or placements, Lori was quick to offer up he expertise and craft beautiful place settings and table scapes out of un-arranged flowers we had! Myself nor my family had to worry about a thing! We just enjoyed and basked in the glory of the day! Working with Lori was not only the best money we spent on our wedding, but I truly feel like we made a life long friend while working so closely with her for the months leading up to the big day! I wish I could give Lori & her team 10 stars after their fabulous work helping pull together and pull off my big day! My husband and I chose a venue with quite a few restrictions and wanted to invite right around 200 guests, so we knew we would need a wedding planner to help us make our dream wedding come true without getting charged extra afterwards. After our first consultation with Lori, we both instantaneously knew she would be a good fit and would be able to help us make our vision come to life. We wanted a fairytale wedding and Lori took our dream and ran with it—suggesting the best vendors and saving us money in ways we didn’t even know were possible! Over the course of twelve months, Lori became more of a friend than a vendor to us and gave us the perfect wedding day. Our parents and extended family continuously commented how great Lori was and were so thankful that they also got to enjoy the day rather than stressing about making sure all the details fell into place. It's hard to put into words the value Lori and her team at Elegant Affairs bring to any event they touch. As a wedding planner myself, I had a very specific vision for how I wanted my wedding to look and feel. Lori exceeded my expectations with her precision to detail, organizational skills, and professionalism. On the day of my wedding, Lori and team executed all of my design ideas while simultaneously managing all vendors, my bridal party and me! Because of Lori, I was able to sit back and truly relax on the morning of my wedding. During the rehearsal, ceremony and reception, Lori was the perfect combination of fun and professional. Not only did she make guests feel welcome, she also managed any issue that arose with grace and efficiency. When I first met Lori, it was love right away! She was the first vendor I booked! We worked together on my wedding for almost two years, and she was invaluable every step of the way. My wedding was the first I have ever been a part of, and I had no idea what I was doing. She guided me, gave me wonderful advise and helped me create the perfect wedding for us. She has the knowledge and the contacts to make every dream I had a reality. When I was freaking out over little details, she was the one to help calm me down, and give me the direction I needed. I had a couple difficult vendors, and she was the first to go to bat for me every time and have the tough conversations so I didn't have to. I know how busy she is (and rightfully so, because she is amazing) but every conversation we had I always felt like what we were discussing was her top priority- I never felt like just one of her clients. She truly cares about each and every one of her brides, and you can tell she loves what she does. There were a few planning hiccups, and some I didn't even know about because she just took care of it! On the day of the wedding multiple people commented at how calm I was, and it really was because I knew I had an amazing team behind me, I trusted Lori and her girls a million percent. She ran the rehearsal and wedding like the pro she is- There was never any question of what was going to happen next, where anything or anyone was, because she was that on top of it. Over the two years Lori has become more than my wedding planner, she has become a friend and I'm honestly disappointed the wedding is over because I loved working with her that much. Nobody will regret hiring Elegant Affairs, They will regret they didn't.

You know when you meet someone for the first time and you just instantly click? That's how I immediately felt when my mom, cousin, and I met with Lori for the first time. Not only is she a Coug (Go Cougs!), but Lori has such a magnetizing, happy, fun, and positive personality, we all instantly knew she had to be the day of wedding coordinator for my wedding. She was the first and only wedding coordinator I met with and we signed the contract that day. When you know you know :) From beginning to end - Lori was there. She went above and beyond to make the whole wedding planning process and wedding day so easy and relaxing. Whenever I would get worked up and stressed about the wedding, my mom would always say "ask Lori". Which I did, and she always had the perfect response and had a natural way of calming my nerves or validating my feelings. Lori and her Elegant Affairs team executed my dream wedding into a reality. Everything from getting ready to the ceremony to the reception went perfect! I've gotten so many compliments from family and friends saying it was one of the "best" and "organized" weddings they've been to and that's all because of Lori and her EA team. Lori and her team at Elegant Affairs did an amazing job coordinating our wedding. From day one Lori made us feel 110% comfortable with entrusting her with our wedding day. She was there every step of the way and never let us down. I do not think our wedding would have gone as well as it did without Lori and her team. They are hardworking and won't stop till everything is perfect. There is not a negative thing I could say about my experience. Elegant Affairs gave us an incredible flawless performance. Lori was the most thorough and organized wedding planner from the first time we met her and up until the big day. Lori was always within an earshot and ready to serve us while managing multiple teams of vendors at the same time. Long story short, without Lori, our wedding would have not happened without her! She was able to lead the various teams with a friendly but stern demeanor which was needed to get everyone working together. All in all I'd recommend Elegant Affairs without hesitation and will definitely be working with them again. We can't thank Lori enough for all the help and support she gave us on our big day.

Simply put, Lori is an incredible wedding planner. She was our day of coordinator but the amount of time she put into working with us went above and beyond just our wedding day. The value for her services are next to none. For her day-of package, we got two planning meetings, unlimited email and phone support for months before the day, the rehearsal, and the week-of she took over everything so all we had to do was show up. She is incredibly organized and responsive. I know she has a ton of clients but when you work with her, you feel like you're the only ones because she's committed to making your day awesome. Our wedding went so smoothly that guests later commented that it was such a relaxing wedding to attend. Atty no point we're there lefty wondering what was next or where they had to be during when. That everything seemed under control and well paced. Lori even took care of all three last minute printing of the seating chart and paying the vendors. We're love you Lori!!

My husband and I recently had our wedding, and I wanted to take a moment to recognize what a fantastic job Lori and her team did for us. For context, we had an 18 month engagement, and hired Lori in the first couple of weeks. Throughout the process, Lori consistently over delivered. When the inevitable wedding coordination issues popped up, she had handled them before we even had our thoughts together. She also took a lot of time to listen to our specific concerns and tailored how she worked with us specifically to our needs (as opposed to some general package). Her amazing attention to detail made our wedding go off flawlessly. She really thought through everything, from the overall vibe of the wedding event, to each small detail down to which fonts to use. She went above and beyond by helping us with the calligraphy for our invitations. We received so many compliments on it that people were wanting to keep the envelope. When you plan a weekend that is this important to you, not to mention the investment of that much time and resources, you end up hoping that things turn out even in the ball-park of your plan. Our wedding was as close to perfect as could possibly be, and a large part of that is due to Lori's help. Not only would we highly recommend her services, we can never thank her enough!!

Lori and her amazing team at Elegant Affairs are invaluable!!! If you splurge (I use this loosely as EA is amazing value) on one thing for the wedding make it Elegant Affairs. Lori's help allowed us to fully enjoy planning our big day by helping us stay on track, aware of our budget, and focused on the aspects most important to us. The day of we both got to sit back and just enjoy every moment of our wedding without having to worry about a thing. Everything turned out better than imagined and neither I nor my family or friends had to lift a finger to pull it off. The EA team is professional and a total blast to work with. Working with Lori is like working with a friend. They have incredible connections and advice for other vendors as well which helped us not only save money but also to hire vendors who perfectly suited our style. Lori is speedy to communicate and so flexible with planning and tackling any issue that pops up! I can't say enough about how great Elegant Affairs is! Hire them! You will NOT regret it!

Lori and her staff are simply the best! Coming from the event industry I knew the minute I got engaged (okay not the minute I had to wait for the shock to wear off) that I wanted to a wedding planner to help with planning and day of coordination. I met Lori at the Seattle wedding show and immediately knew that I wanted to setup a meeting with her! Since that initial meeting Lori was always on time and always responsive. She and her team were always available to answer any questions or offer advice. Honestly talking to them makes you feel like you are planning a wedding with your friends! Day of they helped with Setup, logistics, vendors, making sure we were all on time, and even wrangled a few family members ;). I even showed up to a friend's wedding and Elegant Affairs was helping with their wedding too! So having experience as a bride working with and as a wedding guest of Elegant Affairs I cannot recommend them enough!

Elegant Affairs was recommended to me by a coworker who was happy with her experience at her wedding. From the first time I met Rachel, I knew she was the one I wanted to help me with my wedding. I described what I wanted and she knew exactly what I was asking for. She was extremely organized and helped me stay on track. The best part was that she was always available via email and put up with me emailing her multiple times a day! I couldn't imagine what the wedding week would have been like without Rachel's help. When I first contacted Lori, I was really hesitant to hire a wedding planner. "I got this," I thought to myself. And then she answered her phone, and started to ask me questions about our big day and changed my stance immediately. Her enthusiasm was not only refreshing, but genuine, and it never faded through our whole experience! She was open to emailing before our contract even began and helped a not-so-creative, but brand new Pinterest-er transfer my vision from someone else's staged wedding on my computer, to a real experience on our oh-so-perfect day! She is someone I would strongly recommend to hire for your planner, but mostly someone you are going to want to have present on your day - her energy, smile, and work ethic is unparalleled by anything I had ever heard about, and she is someone I'll keep near and dear to my heart always. Thank you so much to Lori and her team for allowing me to have the best time at my wedding. I didn't have a single stress or worry on my day because I knew that Lori and co. had it covered and were even thinking of things that hadn't crossed my mind. Leading up to the wedding, she was also an amazing sounding board and local resource for this New England girl planning her wedding with family across the country. I originally read about Lori's business on wedding wire and could not wait to meet her! I attended the Seattle Wedding expo mainly so I could speak with her! It turns out hiring her was the best decision we could have made when planning our big day! Our wedding was magical, organized, and just downright perfect thanks to Lori and her Elegant Affair team! Throughout the year I spent planning my wedding Lori was always present and available when I needed her! That was one thing I loved about working with her! She was so quick to respond to anything I needed via email, text or phone! Throughout the months of planning she quickly became more than just my wedding planner, I started considering her a friend! She also became our voice! We loved the fact that if there was ever a problem with a contract or a vendor she was right there to make it right! It was so nice to have that middle person to deal with issues rather than my husband or I having to stand up for ourselves! Lori can be a fireball at the times you need her to be which is great because I usually am one to keep quiet and let things fly! Our wedding day was stress free for us and our families! We were able to sit back and enjoy our big day knowing that Elegant Affair's had everything handled. Everything went absolutely perfect, to this day I am not aware of a single thing that went wrong (and I think that's how it should be) We were able to focus on each other and our celebrating our marriage and not having to worry about any of the details! We hired Lori for “day-of” coordination and it was one of the best decisions we made! Knowing that Lori and her competent team were in charge on our wedding day allowed us to relax and be in the moment without having to worry about any of the details. At first I was hesitant to hire a day-of coordinator as I thought I was pretty on top of the details and it seemed like an expense we could do without but it turned out to be worth every penny! We had almost 70 paper lanterns that we needed hung at various heights from the ceiling of the venue, in addition to a few boxes of various other supplies to set up. Not sure what we would have done without her there to put it all together! Lori even spent the evening before the wedding assembling all the lanterns that I had given to her broken down flat in the packaging at the rehearsal so she could hit the ground running when she got to the venue on wedding day. She kept an eye on me throughout the night and was never in the way but always magically appeared when I needed something! Aside from the wedding day, Lori was also an excellent source of advice during the planning process. My only regret is that I didn't book her sooner after our engagement!
