Originally We hadn't planned on hiring a wedding coordinator because we had done most of the planning ourselves. After asking a few of my friends what they recommended for a future bride the most, they all agreed "Get a wedding planner!". From the first time I met Lori I felt comfortable with her. She was warm, postive, and really passionate about what she did (which sealed the deal)! From the beginning Lori had excellent communication, and if she sensed I was in need of help, she was there for me. Lori was able to organize our 'day of' plans as well as put out all the little fires that arrose throughout the day for us. I would like to add that our wedding is the only wedding I know of that actually started on time! I even had people asking me afterwards about her because everything seemed so organized and went flawlessly or so it seemed).

I honestly can say I don't know what I would have done without her! By the way...after the wedding we even had a friend book her because they saw how great she was:)

Everyone tells you that a wedding is just one day but those people are wrong. A wedding last for as long as you are planning it whether that is 24 hours or like in my case, 16 months. Many people make your wedding day possible and a lot of those people are with you for the entire process. Some are with you on the day even more than your fiancée.

This is all to say choose your vendors carefully because you will spend a lot of time with them. That is why I am truly thankful I found Lori. When other people could care less about the color of the table clothes, she would spend time with me discussing color and size and texture and anything else that could possibly be considered. I could lean on her when I needed too, like when the best man started dating a girl that I was convinced would drink too much and fall on the cake.

During planning meetings, she was prepared, pleasant and punctual and she always met me in places that were accommodating to me. The day of the wedding I was amazed at how much I didn't realize I would need her. If my family had be reigned in to do her job then all the planning I had done would have been left to the interpretation of those who have never done anything like it before. Instead, I worried about myself and left her to make my vision come true.

When recently engaged friends ask me for advice, I say one thing. Hire a wedding coordinator and if you are smart, you will hire Lori Losee.

As the Catering Coordinator at The Resort at Port Ludlow, Lori was exceptional to work with. The bride was extremely organized and Lori handled all the details with grace and elegance. She was calm under pressure and was always there when needed and worked WITH our staff not against.

For anyone looking for a wedding planner who is easy to work with and understands your personal needs, I would highly recommend Lori.

Spending part of our wedding budget to hire a wedding planner was the wisest decision we made. We are so thankful we choose Elegant Affairs. Lori is the new Wonder Woman! She managed a situation involving 2 King County Sherriff Deputies and a nutty venue owner with grace! Lori helped us figure out how to translate our ideas into a menu, decor and entertainment by giving us realistic suggestions that fit within our budget. We are so grateful to Lori for all of her wonderful assistance with planning our wedding. Our wedding was beautiful, elegant and hassle free. She assisted us with great ideas about table decorations and ceremonies, vendor suggestions, effective and efficient lay out of the reception/ceremony room and assisted with the room set-up and clean-up. Words cannot express how thankful and grateful Morgan and I are to have had Elegant Affairs do our wedding planning and day of event coordination. Elegant Affairs did everything for our wedding including finding vendors (florist, DJ, linen rentals, candy display, etc.), budget management, wedding vision, and coordination on our big day and the days/events leading up to our wedding. Working with Lori and her staff at Snoqualmie Ridge Golf Club was such a wonderful experience for us as a venue. She was so organized, professional, handling all the details with grace and kindness.
