  Where do I begin with Jen-- she is simply the best! I had the pleasure of working with her for our April 2015 wedding in Charlottesville, and from the moment we talked via phone 9 months prior I knew she would be perfect. We live in Philadelphia and Jen was very flexible about scheduling my trial when we were in town on a Saturday afternoon and then was equally flexible when I called her a week before the wedding wondering if we could do another session in case I wanted my hair down. As someone who has never loved updo's or salon styled hair I was nervous about my wedding day hair and wanted it to be perfect and Jen was exactly the partner I needed! She came to our hotel the Wednesday before the wedding and spent 2 hours with my mom and I making sure we were 100% comfortable. Each one of her options were gorgeous but she never pushed anything on me and listened intently to what I liked and didn't like. The morning of the wedding was a joy with her and her team -- they were relaxed, fun and all of my bridesmaid's hair and makeup look absolutely stunning. When it came time to do my hair she told me she incorporated everything I had said I wanted and my hair and makeup looked flawless! She even stayed longer and helped me put my veil in to make sure it was perfect. Jen is so sweet, professional, and most importantly amazing at what she does. I am planning on recommending her to any other friends who get married in Charlottesville!

  I can't say enough great things about Studio Elan! Jen provided her hair and makeup services for my bridesmaids, mother, and me at my recent wedding. I knew as soon as I met her that she would be the perfect fit - she was so warm and friendly, and even invited me into her home for my trial run. She listened to all of the ideas I had and looked at pictures with me, and totally got the look that I was hoping for. On the day of, Jen and her associate arrived at our venue early to get set up, and got right to work as soon as the girls were ready. My mom and all of my bridesmaids looked beautiful and natural, everyone was happy! When it was my turn, Jen worked her magic with great efficiency - I never felt rushed and was ready with plenty of time to sip some champagne before changing into my dress. She even snapped some 'getting ready' pictures for us! I loved working with Jen and would absolutely recommend her - I just wish she could do my hair and makeup every day!

  Jenn is a real artist and can take on any challenge you throw her. I have acne prone, oily skin, and on my big day, she made me look flawless. And not to mention it looked natural and beautiful and didn't feel like 10 layers were on my face. My hair was perfect, staid in place through lots of dancing, and she was truly fun and a pleasure to work with.
  
  She also did my grandmother and my mother's hair and makeup, and everyone commented on how amazing they all looked. Her versatility is pretty unique, and I have to say having her on site at the wedding venue was the best deal- it made the whole preparation experience very relaxing.

  Jen Skriloff was fantastic on my wedding day. I live out of town so I didn't have time to do a trial anything but I didn't need it. She was prompt, well prepared, she sanitized her supplies as she went along. She kept my make up very simple just as I wanted and did a great job getting my hair right off of a very poor description from me! I had only emailed with her a few times before so she was fantastic on the fly and super sweet to talk to while she was working. Highly recommend!

  Jen was fantastic to work with! She styled my hair and makeup, as well as my three bridesmaids and my mother. She did an amazing job, everyone looked so naturally beautiful. Our hair and makeup lasted throughout the day and evening. Jen is incredibly talented, professional and friendly.

  Jen (Elan On-Site Salon Services) did a beautiful job on everyone! I wasn't really sure if I wanted anyone doing my makeup but some of my bridesmaids wanted theirs done professionally so I figured, for one day, why not... I am the bride after all. I basically called Jen up 2 weeks before my wedding (and since I was getting married on a Monday I didn't think it would be too big of an issue) and asked if she was available. I didn't feel the need for a trial make-over so I actually met Jen the day of my wedding. She arrived at the venue 15 minutes early and was finished with all 7 of us in under 2 hours...it was great! She made everyone look so elegant without using a ton of make-up.

  I couldn't have possibly been happier with the services that Jen provided me and my bridal party with at mine and my husband's 7/10/2010 wedding. Everything from my initial availability request, to my consultation, to the day of looks were perfect. I am someone who does not generally wear a lot of makeup and Jen made me feel special and gorgeous, without feeling overly made-up or unlike myself.

  Jennifer was just wonderful. I had been looking all over Charlottesville for someone to do my hair and makeup for my wedding, and it just seemed impossible to find someone who specialized in doing weddings in a beautiful, classy style. I made an appointment for a trial run at Shear Power on West Main, and they charged me an arm and a leg, and nothing looked special about my hair nor my makeup. My makeup looked really thick and caked on, and I thought my hair looked very amateur. I wanted to look like someone out of wedding magazine, not someone going to prom! With only a month left until the wedding, I began searching around and came upon Elan on the internet because it had been featured in a Knot.com wedding. I e-mailed the account, and Jennifer called me back the same day, and said she could fit me on my wedding day even though she had another wedding. The trial run went wonderfully. She is an on-site hair and makeup stylist, so she came to my apartment at 7:30 on a weekend, which was super convenient for me, and she made me look so beautiful and classy. My hair and makeup looked very professionally done. If I had found her sooner, I would have booked her for the entire wedding party.
