Masters of their craft!
We first found Ein Photography shortly after we got engaged in 2022, when Tim shot our engagement photos amongst the gorgeous Central Park cherry blossoms. We were so happy with the way these photos turned out that when it came time to choose a photographer for our wedding, we knew it had to be Ein Photography! Kevin and Akiko shot our wedding in October 2024, and they did an absolutely stellar job. From prep at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Times Square, to a photoshoot with a vintage taxi at the New York Public Library, and then to our stunning ceremony and celebration at the Bordone, they were warm, professional, poised, and delivered amazing results. Months later we are still admiring the photos, which perfectly capture our love, the joy of our family and friends, and the essence of NYC. Thank you so much for being part of our special day, Kevin, Akiko, and Tim! -

Captured Everything Perfectly
We have realized photographer/videographers are the vendors that stay with you well past the wedding - and we’re so glad that we chose ein for photography and videography! Tim and team were very helpful in crafting our timeline, were excellent in guiding us through our wedding day, and we are so excited by our gorgeous photos and videos. Tim’s professionalism and guidance were unmatched. He was so helpful in helping us pose, finding great light and backdrops, and capturing every magical moment. He also did our engagement shoot a year in advance to ensure we were all comfortable with the style and meet us ahead of the wedding. The photographers and videographers at ein photography are artists and professionals who did exceptional work to capture every aspect of our wedding this past September, 2023.
We prioritized our photography and videography vendor right after we booked our venue and date as we knew capturing our priceless memories was going to be our next most important decision. We met with Tim after seeing his beautiful portfolio of work and were excited to confirm he was available for our wedding. He was our first choice from the beginning and didn’t hesitate to book his services.
We had immediate comfort with Tim and team on our wedding day, as they had a strong idea how to set us up and get the best shots out of us. He even came up with some creative lighting effects on the a lot that turned out amazing.
Once we received our photos and then videos a little while after, all our wishes came to reality as we have the most beautiful results. Thank you to Tim and the team at ein photography for everything! -

Taking a bunch of pictures can be daunting, but Tim and his team made it feel so effortless!!
Tim and everyone on his staff were so wonderful and professional. Getting into the action at every point of the day. The team was so helpful when I had to walk in my heels and dress up a hill on the golf course to get a great photo, and Tim even held up a video of baby shark in order to get my nephew to look at the camera!
My husband and I felt extremely comfortable the whole day and the sneak peek pictures we received turned out AMAZING!!!

When my then-fiance and I were looking for photographers for our wedding, we had settled on at least one common interest: photojournalism. We wanted the photos to document the day without overproducing it, but also emphasizing all the magic and beauty of the wedding in a thoughtful, well-composed manner. I’m a videographer myself, so I was picky about the style I wanted. A lot of wedding photos can be overly produced or too flashy, while on the other end of the spectrum, we found underlit, lazily composed photos that failed to capture the essence of the big day.
So after searching for the perfect balance of style and substance, we found Ein Photography. Owned and operated by Tim Yun, Ein has a style that is rooted in photojournalism, without sacrificing the lighting and staging that goes into quality wedding photography. After contacting him, we were invited to Ein’s studio where we saw gorgeous albums they had produced, showcasing a range of locations and families of all types. Tim was able to walk us through the process of not only booking the photos, but the entire timeline of what “photo moments” to expect and when to expect them. After that night, we almost instantly decided to go with Ein, and in 2019, had our engagement photos done in beautiful Red Hook, Brooklyn. Tim was a pro through the whole process and made the photo walk fun and light hearted.
With our wedding originally planned for June 2020, however, we would eventually have to postpone the wedding a total of three times! Every time, Tim stayed in contact with us and held onto our booking without question. When we finally settled on a May 2022 date, not only was Tim ready to go, but he was able to quickly adapt the wedding timeline he had made for us all the way back in 2020.
And then, on the big day, Ein really came through, shooting the early moments of the wedding in an AirBnB we had rented for hair, makeup, and dressing. He carefully staged the photos as needed, giving delicate direction to my wife, while also capturing genuine candid moments. His assistant was also laser-focused on getting excellent, thoughtful shots of me and the groomsmen, with gorgeous detail shots, and a clever use of the surrounding architecture. We left the AirBnB and walked a few blocks to our wedding venue. This was one of the most magical moments for us, as it allowed Tim to capture us happily walking across Williamsburg, Brooklyn, taking in all the beauty of the neighborhood.
He made it all seem effortless.
During the ceremony, Ein captured some incredible moments from both us and the family. Tears, smiles, laughter, and everything in between. Perhaps our favorite photo was of us walking down the aisle during the recessional against a backdrop of bubbles cascading around us. It’s whimsical and just perfectly captured. After the remaining family photos were taken, Tim was courteous enough to give us a short break before toasts, and covered the remainder of the night from within the crowd. His detail shots, especially of the venue and gobo light we had installed outside, are truly special, and showed his attention to detail and talent for capturing spaces.
Throughout the whole process, Ein Photography was professional, caring, and attentive to our needs. We can’t recommend them highly enough, and they had an instrumental part in making our day easier and more relaxed. -

So leading up to our wedding, I was having serious anxiety about how I would look how the photos would come out what if I looked awkward or he got all the wrong angles. I was SO wrong to be nervous. We had an amazing engagement shoot with Tim in Old City Philly which he had never shot in before but he did extensive research and found some really great locations while also taking our suggestions and ideas for places that meant a lot to us both. The turnaround for those photos was SO quick and they were all great. Our wedding day and photos were no different. Tim and his team went above and beyond and I couldn't be happier. They're also probably the most reasonable photographer/videographer I came across in the tri-state area to boot! -

He was extremely attentive and responsive throughout the process, we felt completely at ease during the day, and we had no doubts that the photos would turn out brilliantly (they turned out gorgeously)!

Tim and Gil were amazing for my wedding! I had them all day to make sure I got every shot I wanted and I know I did! Despite a looming rain schedule and extreme heat all day, Tim and Gil showed up with positive energy and readiness to get the shots no matter what. They are both extremely professional and worked with my friends, parents and extended family to make sure we got all of our shots and also that we were standing and posing in the right way so that our photos look great and captured the beautiful background of my venue. I am so excited to see the final pictures after our engagement photos came out so beautifully last year! -

There are no wordssss to describe JUST HOW INCREDIBLE Tim and his team were! They were so professional and kind and patient. They got every single shot (ones I wouldn’t even think of)! They moved things along to fit my timing perfectly. Tim has an eye for shots that were just out of this world!! I got married this last Saturday and already have photos. Photography was the most important thing when we started wedding planning and as a couple that are into photography ourselves we had high standards. We loved the style of photography and editing and one of our friends had Tim at her wedding. After seeing her album we were convinced. Using Ein Photo was the best decision we made while planning our wedding. Tim was super responsive, flexible, funny and incredibly easy to work with. We knew that the photos would be the one thing we could cherish forever and Ein Photo made sure that they were perfect. I’m glad that we did an engagement session with Tim before our wedding so that we could get to know each other more, show him some new locations, and be that much more comfortable. Not only are his images stunning, but the editing and color work are out of this world. I cannot recommend Ein Photography enough for your big day, we will definitely be recommending our friends and family for future events! -

Photography was one of the biggest and most important vendors for us, as I work in the arts and design field and my now husband does photography himself. We spent a long time and did a thorough search for our wedding photographer. When we found Tim and his studio, I felt immediately confident that he would capture our day perfectly and the way we envisioned (and we're very particular!).
Our wedding day ended up being wonderful, and Tim was a big part of that! Tim was super flexible about timing, which put us at ease especially since we were running behind. He also kept the guests all moving quickly to make the best use of the time we had him booked for. We had to change our date and locations a few times due to covid, and Tim worked with us on each date without an issue, which we were incredibly grateful for. We ended up having a beautiful day and the sneak peek photos are beautiful. We can't wait to see the rest of the photos. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an incredible photographer in NYC (or beyond!) and who cares about style and value. -

Absolutely Amazing Experience with EIN Photography and Design!
I can’t express how amazing Tim was at our wedding - he is a true professional and a master of his craft! It was super important for me to have great wedding pictures, and Tim did such a terrific job - I couldn’t stop looking over them for weeks!
First of all, due to Covid and all the uncertainty surrounding planning, we finalized the hotel last minute. Tim arrived early and scouted locations for our first look and made sure that we got gorgeous shots at the hotel, which I really appreciated! He gave us some directions but made sure that pictures turn out natural.
Tim documented our wedding day from me getting ready at the hotel with my family, to our first look, to pre-ceremony shots, ceremony, family pictures and, finally, our small reception, and he captured it wonderfully! Our wedding photos were just stunning.
I would highly recommend Tim for anyone, and would certainly love to work with him again! -

The primary thing we were looking for with our wedding photographer was a natural shooting style with experience. Comparing EIN's portfolio to plenty of other photographers they're obviously more realistic, mature, and have the eye for natural beauty. We were tight on our budget but we got excellent value with 2 photographers from EIN to capture every moment and different angles. We got married November 2019. EIN was attentive the day of, creative with some poses and ideas but didn't bring out a wind machine or any overly ridiculous poses that wind up looking unnatural. They grabbed us when it was convenient for us and didn't intervene when it wasn't which is very important for your day. Another important thing which I've heard from friends recently married is they got our pictures back to us FASTER than they advertised and they were better than we could imagine. I love the variety and angles they got us at. Even though my wife is photogenic everyday, they really captured everything I love about her in their shots. We were lucky enough to have the team of Joseph, JP, and JT, thank yo for the memories. We highly recommend you get in touch with EIN. -

Working with Tim at Ein was a dream. He is so easy to work with and produces amazing, high-quality, unique photos. You won’t regret working with Tim!!!
We loved working with Tim and his team and would highly recommend him for your wedding! He was very easy to work with throughout the preparation process and was eager to get involved with any details. We absolutely LOVE all the photos and video footage captured and feel like we are able to relive the best day through them. Tim does everything possible to capture the special moments. For us, that meant unexpectantly hopping into a yellow cab to follow us on a pedicab to the venue.
If you are on the fence about doing engagement photos, do it!!! We already had photos from the proposal so wasn’t sure we needed more photos. But it was nice to be able to get to know Tim prior to the wedding and make it completely seamless on the day of. And we made canvas photos from the engagement for the wedding.

Tim and his team at Ein Photo surpassed all expectations and did incredible work for us at our wedding in NYC last month! We knew we had picked the perfect photographer when we got a preview of the quality of Tim’s work and his professionalism during our engagement shoot earlier this year. We were extremely pleased with the photographs from that session and found Tim to be both a very friendly person and helpful in guiding us to the best shots and locations in NYC that reflected us as a couple.
We felt at ease going into our wedding knowing we were in good hands with Ein Photo and they continued to wow us with their very skilled team of photographers, videographers, and assistants. The team worked together seamlessly and pushed themselves to find creative and beautiful shots throughout the entire wedding, while at the same time smoothly capturing organic moments without getting in the way.
We are thrilled with the many “sneak peak” photographs we have received from Ein Photo so far and cannot wait to see the rest. We knew choosing the right photographer would be one of the most important decisions for our big day, since we would be looking back on these photos for years to come. I could not be happier with the service that Tim and his team provided for my daughter's wedding. We had interviewed 4 or 5 teams and chose Tim because his work was so beautiful and he was so mild mannered and professional. He was also very reasonably priced compared to most NYC photographers. My daughter and son in law's engagement shoot was BEYOND... and that was a gift for signing with Tim. They were so terrific at the weddinging and that whole day. There but not there. Always got the shots, but never intruded. So kind. Also- we had the photo's faster than I expected... 5 weeks. As we speak he is creating the photo album and my daughters wedding was 2 months ago. I would highly recommend Tim with zero reservations what so ever. His work is exquisite. -

We had an amazing experience working with Tim, Joseph and team for our wedding at the Harold Pratt House in New York, and engagement shoot prior in Long Island City. From the first meeting 8 months before our wedding, EIN is extremely professional, and asked us all the right questions in getting to our vision as we didn't know where to start. Starting with our engagement shoot, Joseph made us feel at ease, and guided us in sharing moments, while capturring those moments between us that came off so naturally in photos - and the finished product was so stunning. On our wedding day, Joseph, our secondary photographer Danny, and another assistant were instrumental in helping us stay on track of our schedule from getting ready to getting to the venue. Because Joseph has shot at our venue many times before, he also had ideas for great shots that we would have never thought of, that came out very artistically. Everyone in our wedding party and our families complimented on how professional and on top of it our photographers were. They were also very quick with the turnaround of photos, and gave us the fully edited photos way before their quoted time. We are so happy with the finished result, the photos look real and artistic, and we can't wait to share the beautiful photos with our families and friends! -

Tim and his team took meticulous time and attention to understand the types of shots we were looking for, and then they were able to execute flawlessly. During the day of the wedding , the EIN team, showed up in full force and captured every aspect of the day perfectly - from early preparations, to the pre-ceremony wedding party photos, and then the ceremony and reception. The photos and videos that followed were amazing and will allow us to relive this amazing day for the rest of our lives. Excellence
They are the very definition of professional photography! Tim was our photographer and not only did he work with the short time that we had, he also made absolutely stunning pictures to make our memories of the day unforgettable. He is creative with his choice of angles and his editing skills are on point. To top it off, he sent the compilation of photos in a USB inside a beautiful casing. Surpassed all expectations!
We were originally referred to Ein Photo through a friend who worked with them for their engagement. After visiting their website, I was instantly impressed with their work - a perfect combination of modern elegance. I reached out right away, their staff was quick to respond, we went to their office in midtown and booked them on the spot. We met with Tim Yun and hired him to do both the engagement shoot and the wedding. HIGHLY recommend the engagement shoot, it gets you comfortable with the camera and with the photographer. We ran into some weather complications prior to, but they were very flexible and worked with us to find the right day/time to do the shoot outdoors. Their turn-around time was also incredible, we had photos within days! Perfect for our Save-the-Dates. And then the wedding… I cannot say enough amazing things about Tim and his staff. They were so wonderful to work with and the initial wedding photos I’ve received so far are STUNNING!!! Ein Photo can capture moments in such a creative way through lighting, angles and distance. Our initial photos have been featured on Instagram, both by the designer of my wedding dress and the bridal salon where I purchased it. We are incredibly happy with our decision to work with Ein Photo – their professionalism, quality and value are unsurpassed. Also, the quality of their wedding albums is excellent, we purchased one for ourselves, as well as duplicates for our families, which we will put together as soon as we have all of our photos. We were so delighted with all the photos that Tim took of our small wedding in NYC. Apart from marrying my best friend, booking Ein Photography was the BEST decision hands down for our special day. We wanted someone who not only listened to what we wanted, but also provided recommendations. It was important to us to have a photographer that was friendly, comforting, and someone we can just have fun with!
During our engagement shoot, Tim helped us get comfortable with the environment and helped us find our groove taking photos in front of the camera. He knew the best spots in Central Park and talked us through his vision and which types of moments would look best on camera.
As our engagement shoot was on the hottest day of the year, I was very nervous that my hair would look messy, and we'd have a shine from sweating, but Tim blew me away! We are thrilled with the sneak peak photos and cannot wait for the rest!
We are so happy to have booked ein photography for our wedding and have no doubt that our wedding photos will come out even better. We’ve even highly recommended to our friends!

Kelsey Sent on 07/12/2018When I saw ein photography’s wedding albums online I booked them immediately without ever even meeting with them because I was so obsessed with their photojournalist vibes. When I first booked them, I was worried that because I’m socially awkward I might feel anxious having a stranger follow me around all day to take pictures of me like some kind of celebrity. But at our engagement pictures I felt as if we had been friends with Blazej forever and he put as at ease- telling us exactly how to pose to look good and had us cracking up all day long. At the wedding he arrived exactly on time and had already gone early in the morning to scope out our venue site (at Grounds for Sculpture in NJ) and find the perfect photo opportunities. He made the day go along easily and even tips on how to cut our cake and all the little things I hadn’t thought of! He even chatted up my husbands little Polish grandma in Polish and she LOVED it! We booked a second shooter and Humberto was really awesome too! We just got back our wedding preview pictures and I can’t believe he made us look model-level sexy when in reality we had been sweating profusely in the 95 degree heat that day. I cannot recommend Blazej and win photography enough- they really are worth every penny and made our wedding photos completely magical. THANK YOU BLAZEJ!

These reviews are just a tickle of what kind of experience you'll get in person. I was running extremely late, he had other clients to tend to, but he was so accommodating and made sure we got everything we wanted.
We aren't from NY, so finding a photographer was a risk since you couldn't meet them in person prior. I'm so thankful Ein Photography was the risk I was taking. If you are going back and forth about photographers, worry no further, you've found them! -

Lorraine Sent on 09/06/2016A little disclaimer - the hubs and I are both photographers, notoriously picky at that, and camera-shy (a wonderful combination, if I do say so myself). The fact that Tim and Blazej made us both feel at ease in front of the camera all the way from an engagement shoot and a wedding shoot, until the day of the wedding itself is a testament to how well they work. Tim was very easy to communicate with via email and offered us a lot of flexibility on our photography package. They are pros all the way through. And honestly, the images speak for themselves - unique, artistic, and natural. We have yet to see all our wedding photos aside from the teaser but knowing the quality of the two previous shoots, we cannot wait to see them. Booking Tim and Blazej was honestly one of the best decisions we made. -

Prior to our wedding, Tim was always available for questions and to talk about ideas/locations. Our pictures arrived within the given time frame 6-8 weeks and we couldn't be happier. They are artistic and so beautiful! Tim is especially talented at creating these reflection pictures- so cool!
