Absolutely Amazing!

My (now) husband and I were looking for a small, intimate, and affordable venue for our big day. I met with Emma and she shows my MOH and I everything, was super detailed oriented and gave me SO many options. Leading up to the ‘big day’, Emma was always super responsive and made sure everything I wanted was notated and correct. Working with Emma felt like I was working with someone I’ve known for years. The day of comes! We couldn’t have had a better group of staff for our ceremony and reception.
Koni, the Banquet Manager made sure everything was perfect, constantly checked on us and went the extra mile. Johnathan, our Server for the night, made sure everyone got their correct order, checked on us and made sure everyone was happy with their meal. Shayla, our bartender was SOO sweet, everyone got to speak with her the most, she was SO kind and when we left for the night, she ran out of the venue and brought us our wedding sign, we almost forgot! We honestly couldn’t ask for a more perfect day, I am SO happy we chose to work with Emma and Ardea Country Club.

We had an absolutely perfect wedding day thanks to the team at East Lake Woodlands Country Club. Ariel was great to communicate with! They were so easy to work with and accommodated all of our needs! Exactly what we were looking for!

Wonderful Rehearsal Dinner/East Lake Woodlands Country Club, Oldsmar, FL

We had a wonderful wedding rehearsal dinner on Friday evening, August 21, 2020 for 65 attendees at East Lake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar, FL! Everything from the planning to the execution of the actual dinner was excellent! The food was wonderful, and we were able to have a tasting of the food to be served prior to the event and consult with the head chef! A special dietary request (gluten free) was made, and the attendee requiring this raved over the gluten free meal provided! The servers were all professional and attentive to our guests. Covid-19 precautions were taken from beginning to end, including table set up and other precautions (face masks, etc.). The venue was set up in advance so that we had plenty of time to decorate. The venue itself is lovely, and we were able to have music of our choice played. A special thank you to Hunter Beals, Private Events Director, who was involved every step of the way! She was responsive to all requests and present at the event to ensure everything went as planned! It was a pleasure working with her! We highly recommend East Lake Woodlands Country Club for your event!

So perfect!

Hunter ensured my wedding went exactly how I wanted! She had every detail organized and listened to my requests. She is so personable and helpful. The Country Club has such a charming, elegance that made our special day so magical. They have several options for different budgets, too. I highly suggest working with Hunter at East Lake Country Club!

Our Dream Wedding

I cannot say enough great things about ELWCC. Hunter Beals is INCREDIBLE! She came in about halfway through our planning process, spent countless hours with us going over every single detail, making things work for us, and keeping us organized. My husband and I wanted a burger bar as our food option, and the ELWCC made it happen/executed perfectly even though it was out of their usual wheelhouse. I cannot say enough great things about Hunter and how she made us feel. The week of, rehearsal, and wedding day she made my husband, myself, and our families feel so taken care of, special, and like we were her only focus! She assisted with setting up the venue because she knew EXACTLY the vision I was going for. She knows exactly what she is doing and is fantastic at it! Our wedding guests are still raving about how amazing/beautiful everything was and how everyone was treated so incredibly by Hunter and the entire ELWCC staff. I cannot recommend ELWCC enough for a venue! Hunter, thank you for making my wedding dreams come to life!!

Great venue for wedding. Hunter Beals the new wedding coordinator is taking the event services here in an excellent direction. Wonderful to work with, gracious, professional, and pays attention to small details to make your day a success. The staff were professional and courteous.

Most memorable Wedding

Ms. Hunter Beals, Private Events Manager, went above and beyond to help us in the wedding preparations (before and during) in the very short time frame we had. We were really lucky to have such a pleasant, personable person to deal with and very accommodating with our needs and requests. The venue was amazing - bright, large, beautiful outside golfing venue, greenery, and peaceful setting. Food arrangements were wonderful! Guests were very happy with the menu. We also had arranged valet parking for our guests. Thank you to Ms. Hunter and the team at Eastlake Woodlands for a memorable wedding.

Michael and I are so lucky to have worked with Ashley McCormick at the East Lake Woodlands Country club. She made me feel so at ease and stress free about the whole process. My family and I could not have asked for a more beautiful day and Ashley's professionalism shined through every step of the way. Ashley McCormick, did a phenomenal job. She is very nice and kind. I know, I probably emailed her 50x's and she always responded in a timely manner. The venue is gorgeous and if you are having a wedding everything is at one location so it makes it easy on your guests. My husband and I really appreciate all of her hard work on our special day!!

We had our ceremony and reception at the country club and everything was absolutely amazing! Ashley was great to work with and made sure everything flowed smoothly. I would have lost my mind without her to help me through the process! She responded promptly and helped with recommendations. Ashley was extremely patient, even when we had almost every purple and blue swatch out of the book and I still didn't like any of them! The ceremony was held in the oak garden and was the perfect setting. The chef was very willing to work with us and change the sauce on the fish to meet our requests. We've heard from our friends and family that it was the best wedding food they every had (even the fish that they said they normally avoid on a buffet)! East Lake Woodlands Country Club, and Ashley in particular, not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. We would highly recommend East Lake Woodlands Country Club!

Words cannot describe how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work with Ashley McCormick at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club. We had our wedding reception there in October and she made planning this special day so easy and stress free! She worked with me every step of the way and was so responsive in my numerous emails and phone calls. She even made a contingency plan for us just in case it rained at the park where the ceremony was held. During the reception, she was the “quiet strength” in the background, orchestrating every detail flawlessly. The staff was wonderful, the reception area was STUNNING and the grounds around the club allowed for beautiful photos. (The food was delicious too!!) I highly recommend having your special day at the East Lake Woodlands Country Club and I know you will LOVE Ashley just as much as we do!

Ashley at East Lake Woodlands was GREAT! She was always there if I had questions or just need information. The ceremony and reception was FANTASTIC. Everything was decorated so nicely and the food was also great! I would recommend East Lake Woodlands to anyone wanting to host a party or a special event. Ashley McCormick was absolutely amazing. She removed our stress cause she was so completely on the ball about everything. Chef Tim made outstanding food to our specifications (allergy and unique dietary needs) in such a way that everyone could eat everything and it was amazing. The venue itself was gorgeous... the right mix of intimate and formal. The pricing and flexibility for our needs was superb... we got all of the perks of a hall costing 3x as much! This was a wedding that everyone in the community will be talking about for a long time, and it's all due to the wonderful people and service at East Lake Woodlands. Thanks!

Steven and I worked directly with our event coordinator, Ashley, who did an absolutely fantastic job. Everything was on time, beautifully put together, and any concerns we had were addressed in a timely professional manner. Ashley made many recommendations that we would not have thought about which we truly appreciated. You won't go wrong using Eastlake Woodlands Country Club for your next event.

I have nothing but rave reviews for the East Lake Woodlands Country Club. Our wedding was a complete success thanks to the entire staff especially Ashley McCormick the private events director. Ashley worked with us every step of the way; so as to confirm that our wedding and reception would be a success! With decisions about the menu, seating arrangements, and the location of the DJ etc., Ashley’s communication and suggestions were always professional and accurate! We were also very pleased with their banquet rooms. The room we picked was decorated perfect for the theme of our wedding. There was a beautiful view of the golf course & the grounds were pristine and well kept! But the very best of all was the food!!! Everyone at the wedding raved about the food; words cannot explain how delicious everything was. We were pleased beyond our wildest expectations how wonderful and perfect our special day was. We would highly recommend East Lake Woodlands Country Club for any occasion!

East Lake Woodlands was the perfect venue. The Country Club was extremely responsive, professional and provided us with lasting memories. We couldn't have asked for more. The food was outstanding, the service superb, and the staff was lovely to work with. We would have future events here, if the opportunity presented itself. We were thrilled that we had the perfect venue coupled with the perfect day. The location provided us easy access to hotels in the area, and a beautiful scenic backdrop of the golf course and lakes for our wedding photos. Dan, Anna and Bill were exceptional - and routinely checked in with us throughout the evening - they went above and beyond for us. Thank you East Lake Woodlands!

We chose east lake woodlands for our October wedding and were very happy with the site for both our ceremony and our reception. The price was outstanding for what you get and the food was also very delicious. They were also very accommodating for my husband and I because we are vegetarians. They were able to give us a vegetarian meal aside from the buffet and it was delicious and filling. Dean was who were worked with most there and he was very easy to get in contact with and allowed us to store the decoration items at the club a few days before the event for our convenience.

I worked with Paul Ketzenbarger while putting my wedding together at the East Lake Woodlands County Club. He was AMAZING!!! The venue was amazing, eveyone said that the wedding was beautiful and they had a great time. Paul made the wedding process easy and simple. He was very accomadating with EVERYTHING!!! Would recommend to everyone!!!

East Lake Woodlands was wonderful! Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! Paul is great to work with and kept everything on track the day of the wedding. If there were any problems, my husband and I were not aware of it. They really worked with our budget and the food is amazing. People are still telling me how great the food was! One of the best decisions we made with planning the wedding was having the ceremony and reception at the country club.

This is a beautiful setting. This clubhouse rooms have beautiful views. The coordinator worked with us on everything we wanted. We had some trouble finding a place that but this location welcomed us. They have a piano and my pianist was very happy with it. The piano adds a lot of elegance. The food was very good. The appetizers were the best I have had anywhere. I had a buffet and every dish was perfect. I even customized some things and it was no problem. The staff was remarkable. I could not have anticipated how helpful they would be. They truly made my day. My guests were very impressed and everything went off without a problem.

The service that we received at East Lake was phenomenal. Dean Bryan, who the the event planner, was there every time I needed him. He is very organized and his staff was quick to serve. This is my first wedding and if I had to do it all over again, I would do it just the way.

At East Lake Woodlands, the only worry you will have....are the nerves you will have about marrying your best friend, like I did.

Excellent Experience

Hunter did a fabulous job helping us plan the event. She also was there the day of the wedding making sure everything was as planned. Very professional, caring and wonderful individual. We would MOST HIGHLY recommend working with her. She became part of our family. The atmosphere of the Country Club was perfect.

Working with Paul at East Lake Woodlands was everything I wanted! Fun, creative, easy, and for someone who did not use a wedding planner, they made the reception part of the wedding incredibly easy and flawless. Paul and the Chef at ELWCC were open to trying new ideas that were not previously on the menu and also customizing a package that fit our needs. And I must say, all of our guests raved about the food long after the wedding was over. They are very professional at what they do and know how to throw a good party! Paul knew exactly what suggestions to make when I was unsure and helped me work out a lot of details that normally a planner would have done. I would have my wedding there over-and-over again. Most incredible service I received from all of the vendors I worked with.

Paul and his team at ELWCC are great. They took care of the details and followed my requests exactly. The reception was beautiful and so many guests complimented the venue. Paul is easy to work with and the food is amazing. The only weird thing was the bridal party holding room. Initially we were told that during cocktail hour, the bridal party would have a separate area to relax and enjoy drinks and appetizers. When we(bride and groom) got there, our bridal party had been put in a huge room with 2 tables and 3 chairs. That was awkward for 7 people plus no drinks or food (they did get for us eventually). It felt like they were unprepared for us on that. Otherwise, the experience was great, everyone was friendly and the night was seamless. Great value for the price. We would highly recommend them.

The Perfect Day!

From the decorations to the food, everything was phenomenal. Got raving comments on how good everyone's food was, all the staff members were extremely helpful and nice. Having a wedding during Covid wasn't the best situation but from the Ceremony to the Reception, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience. Thanks to everyone at East Lake Woodlands for making this so memorable!

My daughter held her wedding ceremony and reception at East Lake Woodlands CC one and a half months ago. ALL of our guests are still repeatedly and continually raving that it was the best wedding any of them have ever attended down to every detail. They loved the outdoor ceremony site, reception room, food, bar service, everything!
Hunter, the event coordinator was VERY professional and accomadating, and VERY helpful in executing our extensive lists of details for my daughter's special day.
It all went flawlessly. I appreciate all of her efforts tremendously.

They were great at ELWCC. The team worked great with the changes and set everything up very nicely. The food was great during the trial but the chicken was a bit dry on the actual day. The servers were very good and dealt great with the bit of craziness. ;)

The wedding coordinator was fired 6 months in to already having my contract signed. When the switch was made, someone at the venue had over booked my cocktail hour room with a birthday party. I signed first and the birthday party was not jeopardized. Instead, I had my cocktail hour in the main entrance and terrace after the ceremony in the same spot. It worked out, but there professionalism to undo what the previous coordinator had done was not professional. They wanted the brides to compromise instead of the venue losing money and taking responsibility for what their employee did. Overall my night was amazing so it all worked out but I was extremely upset and dissatisfied during the process. However, the end result was great.

I just got married at East Lake Woodland. Throughout the process there were pros and cons.

Pros: Dean was wonderful and very personable. He was always a pleasure and was never adverse or frustrated when I made changes to the rooms and other things. He actually made it less stressful by working with me and not against me. The tasting for food choices to be served the day of had 8-9 people joining us and he made it work, it was also delicious. The rooms were set up beautifully. If he had not shown me a similar set up I would deffinitley have chosen the wrong room. We used the patio for the ceremony and he set it up with decor that we had no clue would be there and it made it look so beautiful.

Bad: On the day of the wedding there were a few minor details that were changed and swapped out. The sauce on the main course was different than the one we decided, the dressing for the salad was different than what we wanted. Some of the guests did not get to eat if they walked away from the table, drinks were picked up before they were finished.

All and all our day was Amazing and all the little details gone wrong had no effect on how wonderful everything turned out. In fact it made it more memorable. I would reccomend this venue if you are looking for someone who will work with you to make your day go smooth. If we had to do it again we would go with East Lake Woodlands all over again.

We picked the EastLake Woodlands Country Club for our venue to include the ceremony and the reception. It was a beautiful location and the grounds were kept nice and clean. We wanted the golf course atmosphere and were pleased with our choice.

However, there were a few things working with the coordinator, Dean, that I was disappointed in.

Issues that we had:
*Dean never had our details written down or documented in a central place; every time we spoke to him or visited the facility, he would always ask what we wanted again, even though we already went over everything. He should have kept a file on us with all of our details instead of asking us over and over.
*I requested traditional chair covers and Dean kept pushing the spandex chair covers. At the rehearsal the night before the wedding, he tells me we are all set with the spandex chair covers and they will look great. I was very disappointed and expressed that I wanted the traditional covers. He was able to change the order with the vendor that night, but I still felt like i wasn't an important client to him.
*Our ceremony was on the patio, but the way Dean opened and closed the doors between the wedding party and FOB/Bride, he ended up in all of our photos; which I was disappointed in.
*We were unable to get back our champagne flute; one of them got left behind the night of the reception and I did not get it back.

Attended wedding there last night. They double booked the room and cut an hour from the reception the day of. Wedding scheduled until 7 and the venue attempted to get everyone out by 530. Only a few worked the reception, those who did worked very hard to keep up with demand.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Eastlake Woodlands Country Club in Oldsmar Florida. The event coordinator, Dean Bryan, walked us through the country club and did a great job of painting a picture of what our wedding reception would look like. He explained that one of the advantages to booking with Eastlake Woodlands was that he only booked one wedding a night. This would allow him to devote all of his time and energy on our event. We were so excited and were looking forward to our reception.

Unfortunately, I was highly disappointed with our experience at Eastlake Woodlands Country Club. Although the country club is beautiful and the servers and valet staff are terrific, the frustrations and stress that I encountered working with Mr. Bryan were extremely unacceptable. He created undue stress for me, my husband, my family/friends and other vendors that I hired for my wedding reception.

Some of the issues that occurred include:
1. Making changes without my approval and without notifying me. I had discovered the changes the day before and the day of the wedding.
2. Booking another wedding despite the promise that only one wedding was held a night. This caused numerous issues that I cannot begin to list.
3. Not following the contract regarding payment. This caused stress for my parents because they had to pay a large lump sum the day before the wedding.
4. Not treating my family/friends and other vendors with respect. The manager of the bakery I used mentioned that he has never been treated so rudely before. My family/friends were truly shocked at how they were spoken to and how things were addressed.
5. Disorganization. He often did not have a pen to write anything down and asked me to email him with the details so that he wouldn’t forget.
6. Overall unprofessionalism including walking the other wedding guests through my reception.

Based on my experience, I would never recommend East Lake Woodlands Country Club to any bride or groom.

Rude to me and guests, did not provide enough chairs, and changed all of reception details without telling us. My family had to set up for the reception because one of their employees bailed and was really rude to us.

First I would like to let everyone know that the venue had a big change in staff from all the below comments and since July they have had a whole new crew take over that was supposed to make the venue "better" .

When we started working with them over a year ago we where promised everything and they even worked with us on price. Then without even getting notice ( I was just calling to ask a question 3 months before out wedding date) the fired all the staff and rehired all new people. I was very worried but they assured me everything would be taken care of and done as promised. All the way up the the event the coordinator was helpful, then the wedding day came... First off our last name was spelt wrong on the entrance board . Then the coordinator was showing ANOTHER couple the venue and could not be found while we where waiting to walk into the reception. She left early and the person she left in charge was very rude to our family and tried to take things that I purchased and brought to the venue myself to be used. Dinner was served and the plate was supposed to be a duet plate with chicken and steak, potato, and veggies. Some people didn't even receive steak and the coordinator was walking around apologizing to guests that they ran out then later lied to her boss when we confronted the issue after getting back from the honeymoon. The guests that did receive steak couldn't eat it because it was as RAW as it could possibly get. The chicken was cut in half and so was steak compared to the portion sizes we tried at the tasting that they assured us would be EXACTLY what they would be serving the night of the wedding. Then cake plates where just put on top of the dinner plates because the servers did not pick them up. One guest (that I know of) asked if his steak could be cooked more because it was not edible, they refused. The food is a big part of the wedding and it was very disappointing. I don't want anyone to have these problems like I did.
