Roger Duncan was particularly skillful at getting the shots we wanted without being intrusive. He has a talent for capturing those once-in-a-lifetime informal shots as well. It was a foggy Maine evening and his pictures were beautiful

OMG! He took our pictures with such a confident, easy approach. He clearly knew exactly what he was doing, but was always willing to try our ideas, too. We had a lot of "directors" in our group, and he made everyone feel like their opinion was heard. He did it his way, my way and their way! The results are beyond my wildest dreams. It looks like magic happened! He was great with the kids.... he captured their silliness and then was also able to capture some more demure and beautiful shots as well.

Roger Duncan has a photojournalists eye which provided great emotional shots on our wedding day. The more I look at them since the wedding, the more I appreciate what they captured. I found him to be very friendly, personable, willing to accommodate one's needs, and creative. One thing I would suggest, is creating a list of photos and specific people with Roger before the big day. We had a challenging garden photo shoot due to rain and showers on our big day, so it was cold and a bit rushed time wise in between sprinkles and the start of the ceremony. We missed a few important formal looking photos along with the groomsmen preparation and just a few other gaps, which I am bummed about. I think the thorough checklist would help anybody with this and Roger's plan of attack because he does have a great eye! Our friends' photos filled in some of these gaps in the end. I would also not hesitate to vocalize what you want if you need to. On the day of, it's hard to because the "high" and wedding trance is so great! Roger was extremely accommodating by doing another garden photo shoot two months later with just my husband and I. These photos really made us feel satisfied in the end. He also through in a printed canvas shot. :) I would recommend Roger to another bride without hesitation and some thought about my recommendations. :)

Roger's passion and experience made us completely comfortable and excited about choosing him to photograph our wedding. We wish we knew more people getting married in Maine to recommend him to! We especially appreciated the incredible freedom we had to use our pictures as we wanted to, and Roger's emphasis on capturing the candid moments of the day while getting the posed shots done efficiently. Everything about our experience was positive and professional, and our wedding pictures are truly stunning (our friends and family think so, too!). You won't have to worry about the photography aspect of your wedding if you work with Roger, and that's a great thing.

Roger was professional and charismatic. He caught all of the important moments elegantly. He also managed to capture all of the background moments that the bride does not have time to think of. The photographs were priceless. I could not have asked for a more well-rounded, experienced person to photograph our wedding. Roger even made it a point to stay past our originally scheduled ending time to capture a few last moments that were very important to me.

I think that Rodger did a great job! The pictures came out very nice! :) I think that the DVD could have been organized a little better and I wish that we had gotten a full shot of just the bride and groom. Overall he did a great job and I would highly reccomend him!

Roger and Martina shot our wedding almost three years ago and we still get compliments on our pictures. People are impressed by how natural and happy we look in our pictures, and we also have great pictures of all of our guests. Roger and Martina were incredibly accommodating, professional, warm, flexible, and very respectful and unobtrusive of our day -- half of the time we almost forgot they were there -- and the pictures really captured our day as it happened. We got a great mix of posed pictures and lots of candids just like we wanted. My husband and I recommend Roger Duncan Photography without reservation!
