  Wonderful Experience

  Our daughter's wedding had to be rescheduled due to the pandemic and then again due to Tropical Storm Eta. We were so thankful to have chosen Douglas K Catering. Michael took care of all the details and re-arrangements and the day was spectacular! Everything from the set up to the service was just wonderful and the food was so delicious our guests are still talking about it.

  I'm going to just stop you here now and say LOOK NO FURTHER. This company is such a hidden gem, and you'd be foolish not to use them as your caterer. My husband and I got married in Florida, but we live in Michigan so we were planning all from afar. We weren't able to try the food before our wedding day, but rest assured that did not matter. Everything was delicious! Our guests are still talking about the food and the ambiance which Douglas K Katering helped to achieve.
  
  I worked primarily with Michael, (although we worked with Doug a tiny bit too and he was great and such a nice guy as well!) and I'm pretty sure we exchanged about 200 emails before my wedding day. I had a very specific vision as to what I wanted, and Michael helped execute it PERFECTLY. He was always available to answer my zillion questions, and he really did pay attention to every last detail. I just couldn't be more pleased with his services. This company set me up with a fantastic florist and a cake vendor. I gave them specific info on what I wanted and they worked with those vendors on my behalf to make sure we got what we wanted. It was amazing. They also provided all of the chair and table rentals and set up and tear down was flawless. They really do it all.
  
  If I could rate more than 5 stars I would. This company far exceeded my expectations, all of the food was delicious, made sure our wedding day went smoothly, and made it very memorable. They were prompt, personable, and made sure everything ran without a hitch. These are things you need and want to happen on such an important day. The value is incredible. After searching around for a while it was obvious to me that many catering companies over-inflate prices for weddings, but Douglas K Catering does not. Their company was worth every penny we spent. I highly recommend you do yourself a big favor and hire this vendor for your event! Thanks Douglas K for such out of this world services!

  If I could give 10 stars, I would. My fiance found Douglas K after we'd met with another less-than-stellar caterer. After meeting Michael for the tasting, we knew we'd made the right choice. We had ZERO worries about the food, rentals, reception setup and other details they handled - plus, it was all within our budget! And who says you don't get to eat on your wedding day? During the reception, Michael handed us both full plates of the most delicious wedding food I'd ever tasted and we both ate everything. Thank you Michael and the entire staff from Douglas K for a perfect day!

  Caterer arrived early and began to set up immediately. Food was fabulous and so was the service. We didn't have to worry about a thing. We were able to enjoy the party with our guests. Michael was very creative and innovative. When the plug for the coffee urn we had was missing, he simply began making coffee with the Mister Coffee and no one had to wait for coffee. Would definitely use him again. Very pleasant. He also was so good that you didn't really notice him. Food appeared and empty dishes were refilled magically. Great job.

  Douglas Katering catered my event yesterday and the food was fabulous! The mango mahi-mahi & sweet pepper chicken alfredo was especially good. Both Doug & Michael are wonderful & pleasant people to work with. I would definetly use them for ALL my events & wouldnt hesitate to refer them to all my friends as well.

  I live in Washington but had my wedding in Florida and its super hard to plan a destination wedding because everything is based over the phone my family lives there but they could only do so much. My mom was the one to find Micheal and his team (which included his lovely wife Stephanie) and she is very very very hard to please but she loved them and when I got to Florida I soon found out why. This is more then just a catering company they cover so many of your checklist points and they do it in such a way you are left with ease and the excitement starts to return because you no longer have to worry about so much they cover the cake the dinner wear, some decorations they even rented my chair covers and bows, oh and of course the food which was fabulous. Now that might have sold most people but the biggest thing that made me feel so good was they became apart of the experience there staff was lively and kind, there was never a no answer and to know that you get what you want is important. Over all they made my day not only better but worry free.

  Not only is Douglas k Katering the best in quality but they are very creative! Always friendly, great attention to detail, and wonderful follow up. You don't have to worry about anything, once you give them your vision they run with it and make your dreams come true. Excellent company that I will use forever!

I compared many caterers since I was doing my wedding on a tight budget and Douglas K. Katering was by far the best in price. My guests were raving about the food all night and still are. The food and service truly made my day extra special. After my wedding, I planned a surprise 40th anniversary party for my parents and turned to Douglas K. Katering to provide the food service. They yet again rose to the occasion and delievered a deliciious and extremely affordable arrangement of food. I would highly recommend them and plan to use them for all my future catering needs.
