  We used this hotel to stay in the night before the wedding and the night of the wedding. It was perfect! It was so beautiful and has a great view! Also, I recommend the roof bar if you are looking for an evening drink! Also the resturaunt in the lobby is to DIE for! The only downside is the 22 dollars a night just to park! That is on top of a 250$/ night!

  We chose Doubletree Doheny Beach for our Reception because of the breathtaking view! But it's a great deal-maker that they are professional people to work with and they provide good value for your money. Our contact person/coordinator resigned the day before our event, but he made sure our plans were followed. Another guy took over and he did a great job in the follow through. They were flexible enough to accommodate our ever-growing number of guests but only up to a certain point.

  We took a tour of the hotel rooms and used these guys for our block of rooms. Within the course of 6 months the coordinator changed from Heather who was fantastic to nondie who was there for only a short while to Luis, who kept forwarding me to other people when they kept pointing me back to him which was quite frustrating. We were promised a certain rate for our room and were told we could pick one particular room that my husband and I really wanted but our mistake was not booking it with heather. When it was time to book we were told a completely different price and that they couldn't guarantee the room we requested even though we were sure to ask if it was possible in the first place. After a lot of back and forth we were able to get the original rate and the room but it was frustrating. But the rooms are fantastic And all have a nice calm beach vibe!
