  Donovan played at our wedding and was AMAZING!!

  We hired Donovan to play at our wedding and he absolutely exceeded our expectations! He so talented, can play any and every song we wanted, and all of our guests LOVED having him there! We had a pretty specific wedding vision and knew we wanted a guitarist to play as guests arrived and throughout the ceremony, and Donovan was nothing short of perfect! He was so easy to talk with in the planning, walked us through all of our options, and answered every question we had. He is very knowledgeable with how weddings typically go, so he was able to guide us through a plan while taking on all of our wants and needs with no issues. Donovan has multiple packages to fit any event need you desire and is very reasonably priced. We gave him a genre of music to play while guests arrived and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his touch to our day. When it came to ceremony music, we had specific songs we wanted and Donovan had no problem playing them and timing them in the ceremony exactly as we wanted. I felt so cool walking down the aisle to “Nothing Else Matters” by Metallica, just as I pictured! Made my day!! He truly was the cherry on top to such a special day! He even made sure to wear our requested “all black” attire to make sure our day was exactly what we wanted! We cannot thank Donovan enough for being such an easy going and pleasant person to work with - and his playing is top notch! Would recommend him to anyone 10/10!

  Donovan is the best!!!

  My husband and I had Donovan play ceremony and cocktail hour music at our wedding at the Montage Laguna Beach, and he was awesome! Donovan is so positive, friendly, professional, and most of all, he is such a talented musician. Our guests were blown away and we were so impressed! Highly recommend Donovan for any of your events because he is AWESOME!

  So talented!!

  Donovan played guitar for our wedding ceremony, as guests entered and as the wedding party and bride walked down the aisle. When we met with Donovan to talk through the details, he had a guitar at the ready and could play any song we mentioned with a drop of a hat. We were blown away by his talent and skill. On the wedding day, he was prepared and on time, and of course his playing was beautiful! Thank you Donovan for being a part of what made our day so memorable and special!

  Perfect Wedding Day Music

  Donovan was very professional and extremely talented with an excellent varied past and current Playlist . He was extremely accommodating, easy to work with and his musicianship showed performing beautifully, and having just the right tone ,volume and timing for my son's our entire Wedding Day. I would highly recommend Donovan and plan on hiring him again in the future.

  Beautiful guitarist

  It was my vision to have a guitarist at our ceremony.
  Donovan played beautifully! And I was extremely pleased with his service.
  We also had him continue playing at our cocktail party afterwards. I did miss some of his music by all of my guests said he was excellent!

  Amazing Experience

  Donovan was amazing! He was super responsive, flexible, professional, and not to mention extremely TALENTED with a vast catalog of songs that he knew and could play. Donovan and I didn’t have the chance to meet or rehearse until the day of my wedding but he showed up and knocked it out of the park! Highly recommend him for your wedding or event!

  Played at my wedding ceremony and he was beyond fantastic!!!

  Donovan played acoustic guitar at my wedding ceremony on April 27, 2019 and he was fantastic!!! His guitar sounded beautiful at my outdoor venue. He was very pleasant to work with, super nice guy and very communicative. He even learned 2 new songs I had requested and played effortlessly at my ceremony! I had quite a few guests comment on how awesome he played, a true professional! We also had him play some Flamenco and that sounded amazing as well. Highly recommend him for your special events, Donovan definitely will not disappoint and even go the extra mile to make your event as special as mine!

  I can't say enough good things about Donovan! We hired Donovan for our May-Southern California-backyard wedding. We had gone back and forth on how to do our music at the ceremony and are so so glad Donovan was recommended to us. My husband was set on having his favorite song from a Puerto Rican rap duo and I was set on walking down the aisle to a acoustic guitar song from Alexi Murdoch. We were so lost on how to bring these songs together for our ceremony and Donovan did it with ease. Even more impressive- unaccompanied! He also made such a beautiful ambience for the processional and cocktail hour.
  
  Thank you Donovan! I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a soft and simple acoustic backdrop to your event.

  Wedding Ceremony Live Guitarist

  Donovan did a wonderful job with helping us select our songs for our ceremony processional. He met with us prior to our event via zoom to guide us through any questions we had and offered song selection for each moment we wanted to capture. This truly made our ceremony so special and something we will always remember as we hear the songs we selected in the future. Highly recommend Donovan for your wedding events!

  Donovan is pretty much the coolest person my Hubster and I have ever stumbled across at a baseball game. He is also an AMAZING human, a SUPER talented musician, and a true professional.
  
  Donovan came to our rehearsal and saw that I was a bit lost with all of the details and he helped me stick up for myself and made sure I got the processional and ceremony I wanted. He ALSO learned 4 new and very non-traditional songs just for our wedding. I wish I was not so impatient to get to my Hubster at the altar and spent more time listening to his art while I was walking in.
  
  If I could give Donovan a 10 out of 5 I would.

Not only is he amazingly talented, but he's such a sweet guy and worked so well with our DJ! Talented, professional, really nice - what more could you want in a live guitarist?
