The absolute best!

Anthony and his team handled all of the A/V for our multi day, music festival, multi cultural wedding at The Holly Farm in Carmel, CA.

From the start, Anthony was extremely professional, easy to communicate with, and has great attention to detail. We knew going into the weekend that we had hired the right team.

His techs, Chris & John, did an incredible job with every aspect of the A/V, including our silent disco, the ceremony, reception speeches, and after parties.

We felt so lucky to have them as part of our vendor team! Our wedding was such a success thanks to DNA entertainment!

Anthony Made Our Wedding Party Unforgettable!

Music was one of the most important parts of our wedding, and Anthony absolutely delivered. We were looking for a DJ who shared our music taste, and Anthony from DNA was the perfect match. His system made it easy to specify which songs to play and which to avoid. We provided several playlists for different parts of the day (ceremony, cocktail hour), and Anthony kept the vibes spot on during dinner even without a prepared playlist. We also had many specific moments where we wanted certain songs played at exact times, and Anthony nailed every single one down to the second. He truly helped us have the wedding party of our dreams and we had so much fun!

DNA knows what they are doing - highly recommend!

We could not have asked for a better DJ experience. We had Chris from DNA, and from start to finish, had a perfect experience. The team at DNA helped us with pre-wedding details, were available to answer any questions, and on the day-of, Chris helped us execute the perfect wedding. We are so grateful!

DNA is experienced at many venues in the Monterey County area and truly know what they're doing. There is a reason they are on so many preferred vendor lists - they are highly professional and know how to have a great time!

We also included the photo booth, and would highly recommend!

Highly recommended!!!

We hired DJ services from DNA Entertainment for our June wedding in Monterey, and we can’t recommend them enough! Payment, booking, and planning was easy and straightforward; they even accepted credit cards! Most importantly, our DJ Andrei was an absolute star. Besides expertly cueing all our “official” songs, she had us dancing all night long with bop after bop that perfectly fit our music preferences. She’s also a great human being and hella stylish. As the kids say, she understood the assignment. Thank you, Andrei and DNA Entertainment, for helping make our wedding day perfect.

The most fun I’ve had in awhile!

My (now) husband and I booked DNA to DJ our wedding. We had the pleasure of having Colin & Chris join on us on our wedding day. Colin was our DJ and Chris was our photobooth attendant. First off, kudos to Chris for manning the heck out of the photo booth. It takes a special person to be happy and enthusiastic while people, who are getting progressively more drunk, come in and out all night wanting crazy photos, but he did it with a smile on his face all night. Colin was nothing short of amazing and I don’t say that lightly. We had guests of all ages tell us how they enjoyed the music he played. Not only did he play amazing music, he took the time to help with out first dance song which was custom done by friends of ours who are musicians. Colin made the song sound better and worked hard to ensure that all our music was in order and that everything we had hoped for came to reality. Not only were Colin & Chris extremely professional and knowledgable, they knew how to bring the party and fun to the reception. I don’t think our wedding would have been half as fun without them there and we are extremely grateful for their services and the experience they provided to our guests. I would highly recommend hiring DNA Entertainment.

Excellent DJ!

We're so glad we chose DNA Entertainment for our wedding day! Anthony was fantastic to work with leading up to the event and DJ Colin St. John did a fantastic job the day of making sure every note was on cue, helping us count down on the bouquet toss and emceeing the event, that every guest requested song was played, and any that we didn't want played weren't. Professional and Incredible Service!

Our venue came with several options for music, including having our own Spotify playlist played through speakers, to eliminate the need for a DJ or a live band. We decided to go with a DJ from DNA Entertainment, which was a superb decision on our part (if I do say so myself)!

First, why a DJ over a live band? - we have a really wide, eclectic taste of music that ranges from Japanese hip hop to punk rock emo. We wanted all aspects of our music tastes represented, which would have been tricky with a live band. Then, why a DJ over using our own playlist? - simply put, our DJ was invaluable in keeping us on schedule, making announcements to corral our guests for events like cake cutting and first dances. Don't underestimate the value of having someone with a schedule that can check in with photographers, your venue and caterers, and the bride and groom to make sure things go as planned!

Working with DNA Entertainment was seamless from the start. Anthony responded extremely promptly to our initial inquiry - even going as above and beyond to give us a call when we missed their email as it got sent to our spam inbox instead. The initial phone call went over basics, and we were encouraged that they were open to having a lot of input from us on music selections for cocktail hour/dinner instead of insisting we stick to their premade playlists or genres. We were given a very thorough worksheet/template to fill out with our wedding ceremony timeline, song choices for processional/recessional/first dance/etc, as well as the all important DO NOT PLAY list. They even have a list of common/top wedding songs to help those of you who aren't as particular about your music as we were.

Then about a month and a half before our wedding, we reached out. Again the response was prompt, and our DJ was CC'd on the email. They let us know that they'd be in touch about a week before the wedding, which is more than enough time to touch base with your DJ prior to the wedding. We submitted our completed worksheets and sent our Spotify playlists over to our DJ, who reviewed it thoroughly with us via phone call in the week prior to the wedding.

Now, a word on our DJ. DJ Christopher was fantastic! He introduced himself to us at the venue and checked in with us through the night. His help during the ceremony with microphones and speeches was truly seamless - no awkward skips or volume issues. He was flexible and accommodating, letting us finish up saying hello to our guests before keeping us on track with the schedule with speeches. He played every song we requested and none of the ones we asked him not to. As a fellow Pitbull enjoyer I was really happy with his song choices all night. He even got my shy mother-in-law on the dance floor for a song, which is not an easy feat!

I can't thank DJ Christopher and DNA Entertainment enough for all their help. If you have an event, I highly, 100% endorse the whole team. Thank you for everything!

Awesome wedding DJ!

We picked DNA Entertainment not only because they were on the preferred vendor list for our wedding venue, but also because they were easy to work with, professional and listened clearly to our requests.

My husband and I have very specific taste in music, and basically wanted to build all the playlists for every part of the day ourselves. We were a bit concerned after talking to some friends who said their DJs were hard to deal with or didn’t listen to their requests, but from the beginning, Anthony was awesome. He assured us right away that our experience could be 100% customized, and that’s exactly what we got.

We worked with DJ Chris for our wedding, and he went through every detail with us ahead of time to ensure he was prepared. His timing and edits with every song were on point, particularly the ceremony where we had several songs we wanted to include. He was very enthusiastic during our wedding party intros, fitting the tone and energy we were trying to convey.

While DJ Chris mostly stuck to our dance floor playlist, he knew to read the crowd reaction too, and move on to another track or stick to a certain genre for longer. I loved that he got into the music and danced around himself, and we appreciated that he respected the wishes of some of our more cautious guests and wore a mask during the entire indoor portion of the event.

Additionally, the prices were very reasonable considering the Carmel/Monterey area, including the uplighting that really added to our beautiful, but somewhat dim ballroom. Anthony always got back to us in a timely manner, and was professional and courteous. We highly recommend booking DNA Entertainment for your event.

Amazing! Everything we wanted and more!

These guys were amazing. From planning to performance I cannot recommend them enough. Photographers may capture how you feel but the DJ is the one that gets those feels going. Anthony was amazing and his surprise guest Lavelle Durpee threw down. They did an amazing job balancing the needs of the older folks in attendance while dropping the slappers I wanted. Anthony kept the party moving and things on time and was open to any and all feed back like volume at a moments notice. I would highly recommend them for your next event and you get what you pay for and more; Quality and expertise!

Great DJ, dance floor never empty

We hired DNA Entertainment for our wedding in Monterey, CA and have no problem recommending this business. The entire process (from initial outreach, to contract review, to planning, and executing) was easy and efficient. No issues with communication. Our DJ, John, understood the overall vibe we were going for and kept the dance floor going all night. He really knew how to read the crowd and the dance floor was never empty.

Music Entertainment Choice

DNA Entertainment was our choice for music on our wedding day.

I was especially pleased with the level of professionalism from Anthony, the owner, to our D J John on our wedding day. They were so accommodating from our first phone call to our very last email days before our wedding.
John was an extraordinary DJ who met with us personally, all the while taking notes on the type of music we liked and wished played. John was most helpful in finding just the right violinist to play a 1000 Years for my wedding processional. Our wedding was a small and intimate gathering of sixty guests. John was extremely familiar with our wedding venue as he has played at Pebble Beach on many occasions. To our delight, our guests were up dancing all evening! All of our guests spoke about how wonderful our music was and asked for their (DNA) contact information. DNA is also listed at Pebble Beach Resort as an Entertainment suggestion.

As with any fine company and their staff, we were completely at ease with our decision right from the beginning to the very end. Choosing DNA Entertainment will be one of the easiest decisions you make. You will not be disappointed!

Best in the business- true professionals!

Anthony with DNA entertainment, he is truly a PROFESSIONAL. BEST DJ EVERRRRR!!!! He is so quick to respond to any questions, concerns or even funky requests my husband and I had on our special day. Anthony was amazing, moments before the speak my husbands brothers wanted to change their order of speeches and Anthony changed his announcements without skipping a beat! you will not find anyone better than Anthony, he played every single song we wanted and needed to make our night one to remember. I can not say enough about what a great guy he is and the amazing service he provided us! Awesome DJ Services for Wedding!

Awesome music & danced the night away!

We hired DNA entertainment for our wedding in June 2019 and was fortunate to have Chris as our DJ and Jason as the photo booth attending.

From the beginning, DNA was very prompt and professional with any questions you had via email. Our meeting with Chris went great a few days before the wedding- he was very accommodating to certain songs or the scheduling of events. On the wedding day, he was the best MC with timing on point and with announcements and getting the crowd moving. He was even better as a DJ and had the whole group dancing and me being the bride- I danced all night!! The song choices were the best and he was very enthusiastic with great energy throughout the whole night. Highly recommend Chris as a DJ!!

Jason was awesome at the photo booth station! He made everybody feel comfortable and had all the props ready. Was great at giving out the photos and we also got a dropbox file at the end so we could see everyone's. I would definitely rent the photo booth bc you can choose form different backgrounds and customize the names on them. The picture quality turned out great and was just so much fun!!

Awesome DJ & MC

We are so happy we went with DNA Entertainment for wedding at the Perry House, which we used for both DJ and Photobooth services! Our DJ & MC, Chris Chambers, was critical in making sure our event went smoothly. He helped us figure out our own music preferences, then put together an awesome playlist for the event itself.

Chris was kind enough to meet up with us a local coffee shop before we had decided to go with DNA to answer all of our questions. We were immediately put at ease by his competency and familiarity with the ins-and-outs of DJing and event at the Perry House, which he had done many times before.

Chris facilitated a live vocalist we had during the ceremony, and made sure she had everything she needed. He also kept the event on (and sometimes ahead of!) schedule, and made sure the dance floor was always going! Not only did we love the music choices, we had multiple people tell us how much they liked the music arrangement, and how smoothly the event went overall.

Everyone had a great time with the Photobooth we also had through DNA. Friends and family mentioned how excited and engaged Andrea, the photobooth operator, was throughout the event. They also sent us a dropbox link to all of the photobooth pictures after the event, which is awesome to have.

Finally, Anthony and the company as a whole were a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. We really appreciated how responsive they were to our (many) emails.

We would definitely recommend using DNA Entertainment for their DJ and Photobooth!

Hands down would recommend

Anthony was our DJ for our wedding and Scott Rainer was in charge of our Photo Booth. They both were amazing! From our initial meeting with Anthony, he was extremely professional and full of energy. He answered all our questions promptly and was accommodating with any of the requests we made for both the ceremony and reception! Since we did not have a wedding planner the scheduling packet he provided us helped organize our day and he made sure that it was followed keeping everything moving smoothly. Our reception was a blast and all of our guest loved it!! He even played a song for my grandma which meant a lot to me and made our day even more special!

As for the photo booth side of things Scott was busy the whole night! The photo booth was a hit. He helped all they guest make sure they did not miss a photo and even helped stick extra copies of the images in to our guest book which was perfect. He was super sweet!

The best DJs in town!

We had a packed dance floor at our wedding all thanks to DNA! Our DJ Chris Chambers kept the party going the whole night. The dance floor was never empty! He took control and kept the pace of our wedding going, which was great because me and my family were in a daze during the wedding from all the excitement. Awesome DJ

Colin was our DJ for our wedding in Monterey and he was amazing! He was a flawless MC and was great at reading the vibe of the wedding and playing stuff that kept everyone energized and dancing. The whole booking process with DNA was very simple and efficient, which is so appreciated when you're juggling so many wedding planning tasks. We also booked an open air photobooth through DNA which kept guests entertained all night long. Highly recommend their DJ/photobooth services to anyone planning an event!

We had Jason as our DJ at the Perry House in April and he was fantastic! Jason reached out right away via email and let me know he was open to answering any questions I had. We had a phone call about 1 week before the event and we went through the whole event and what we were looking for. He played all of our playlist and inserted the appropriate music when needed! Jason was so great and super friendly! We were super happy with his and DNA's service!!

I picked most of the songs but a few times Jason read the crowd perfectly and inserted the absolute right song for the vibe he was picking up. He was totally in tune with the guests. We hired DNA for our Holman Ranch wedding and were so happy that we did. Our DJ Colin was amazing; fun, professional, and had the dance floor packed all night. If you need a DJ, MC, or photo booth vendor, use DNA Entertainment!
I talked to a few vendors in preparation for our wedding and ending up signing with DNA entertainment. My goodness am I glad I did.

Other vendors were so slow to respond, which would make you think that there would be headaches throughout the actual prepping. Darion was an incredible DJ and MC, he knows how to hype up a crowd and also worked so closely with us on our very custom playlists. He even worked with me on the side to plan a surprise for the hubs.

If you want a DJ and MC that's responsive, professional, energetic, and amazing at what they do, you should have Darion.

Oh! I should also say, that he helped coordinate the photo booth set up. We had a custom background and he made sure to bring clamps so we can get that thing up. ;)

The photo booth attendant was also amazing. He was there for every photo and guided people on how to pose to make sure people weren't taking the same photo over and over again.

I love DNA!

Our dance floor was packed all night long! From our 4 year old flower girl to my 70 year old grandparents, Anthony ensured everyone had a great time. The playlist appealed to every age, every style... we have had so many compliments from friends and family on the music and environment Anthony created during the reception. DNA Entertainment also provided sound for the ceremony itself, which was a perfect start to the night. The information sheets DNA uses are so comprehensive, laying out each part of the event and giving definitions where needed. It was exactly the guide that we needed, and we're so happy Anthony was able to take words on a page and turn them into an awesome dance party.

These guys were absolutely awesome! We gave Darion carte blanche on the music selection and with what he did you would think they did it professionally. The ceremony music was perfect and the reception music was really fun! If I can give couples any advice it will be this. GET THE PHOTOBOOTH!!! It was so much fun and it really brought the reception to a whole new level. I know that may sound a little weird but do it and you will see what I mean.

Jason was our DJ for our wedding and he did an amazing job wits everything! He helped me lay out the timeline for the evening and worked with me on choosing the right songs for us. He was always quick to answer and thorough with our discussions. He kept people on the dance floor all night and played everything that we asked for. I couldn't imagine our wedding without him! COLLIN ST JOHN was awesome. DNA Entertainment was great to work with. They know the venues in the bay area inside and out so they are very familiar with where things should be set up and how long dinner takes. He took the place of a wedding coordinator during dinner and made sure everybody said their speeches and toasts at the right time.

Collin was able to accommodate a last minute request for my dad to sing to me on my wedding day which was a huge surprise. My dad is 73 and brought an archaic machine of some sort but Collin was able to plug it into his sound system and everything went without a hitch.

I have been to so many weddings where the music seemed good but nobody danced. Well, our DJ read the crowd well and we danced from 7:30pm up until the end. The dance floor was always packed which is a good sign. You want a DJ to adjust to the crowd.

Book DNA Entertainment and you won't be sorry. I have had 3 other friends who have used them for weddings and/or charity events too!

Ridiculously Accommodating, fun and affordable!!!

We were so fortunate to have DNA DJ our wedding. Our entire experience with them was exceptional. DNA allowed us to review their DJ's and pick the DJ for our day ourselves. This was so much fun for my fiance and I. We made an evening of it reading their bios and listening to their playlists. We chose to have Jason O'Neil host our day. The best decision we could have made!

DNA included two location set ups for us so we were able to have Jason set up on the beach for our wedding ceremony in the sand! Jason worked close with us to create a truly personal ceremony experience. Jason found a way to accommodate all of our requests, finding special versions of songs, editing processional and recessional songs and delivering a one of the kind grand entrance.

Jason kept our wedding vibe fun and he managed the flow of our wedding perfectly. Weddings schedules never run on time and Jason's professionalism showed as he adjusted and worked with us every step of the way.

This company is fantastic. Book with them today!!

I can't even begin to praise Evan for the fantastic job he did to ensure our reception had the ultimate entertainment. Not only did he play the best music, he had a great energy that kept the dance floor full... the entire time! In fact, many guests told us he was the best DJ they've heard at a wedding in years! My husband and I will be recommending Evan to our friends getting married in the future because of the memorable experience he provided for us. I truly feel our reception was a complete success because of him. Not to mention everything was executed perfectly, with no flaws. He was personable and friendly from the moment we met with him till the minute we said goodbye.

One thing I truly want to bring to highlight is the ease of the entire process, not only with Evan but this entire company. How I told the President of the company, the music we like and how he was able to pair us up with the perfect DJ, Evan. I had so many last minute requests that Evan accommodated. As well as, the convenience in the packet of song suggestions and the paperwork we completed for the events during the reception. Thank you for making this experience for us so seamless and unforgettable. You guys really have it down!

We received our photobooth and DJ from DNA entertainment and both were absolutely great. When we first met our DJ, we felt as though he didn't quite have the same style as myself and my husband. So we called and requested a new DJ and they got back to us within an hour and we were able to work everything out. Great customer service and GREAT DJ'S!

Evan Parker was the DJ for our wedding at Nicklaus Club and he was fantastic! Evan took the time to connect with us 3 weeks in advance of our special day and then again meet with us in person the week before our event to discuss our timeline, expectations and music preferences. He was very professional throughout and the day of our event worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator and photographer to make sure that we were in the right place at the right time. He kept the party hype the entire night and played exactly the music we had asked him too. We couldn't imagine our event without him and would recommend Evan and DNA Entertainment to anyone planning their special day!

I was recently married at Mission Ranch and had Darion from DNA DJ our wedding! I had originally interviewed a few people and hired the owner Anthony. We had a long phone call and went over everything down to the minute because I am OCD/Type A like that and when Darion showed up I was a little nervous but he was completely up to speed on everything - PHEW!!!

He did such a good job and really made our wedding super special and fun. He was able to go with the flow with our last minute changes and made great recommendations when we were under pressure. Everyone loved his style and he kept everyone dancing for hours. It was flawless and really appreciate you MCing and DJing our wedding, Darion! Definitely ask for Darion when you are looking for a DJ! :) Oh yeah, the prices were super reasonable too!

DNA Entertainment and our DJ Evan Parker were wonderful to work with. They were responsive and professional the whole way through. Evan did an amazing job of DJ'ing our wedding! We were so happy with how the music turned out - everything was perfectly cued, perfect volume and perfect flow. It was hands down the best DJ'ing we have experienced at a wedding! We got so many compliments on the music and how professional it was. The only music we had pre-chosen were our important songs and some pre-ceremony songs, and he did a great job of filling the dinner and cocktail hour with music that had a similar feel and was perfect for the ambience. For the dancing portion of the evening, we had been worried that our guests weren't really going to be too into dancing, but he kept everyone dancing the entire time because every song he put on was one of those "I HAVE to dance to this" kinds of songs. Our guests really had a great time! Evan was also great as the MC and with giving reminders to guests about making sure to take home a favor and some other things -He was professional and had great energy. Overall, we couldn't be happier with Evan and DNA Entertainment!

We LOVE DNA Entertainment. My husband and I were fortunate to have Darion as the DJ for our wedding, and we also hired him for our rehearsal dinner. Darion is a true professional and also SO fun. One of our main goals for our wedding was that all of our guests dance and EVERYONE danced.

Darion made sure everything was perfect, from the rehearsal dinner music, to setting up a projector and screen in the carriage house at Holman Ranch so we could play a slideshow after our rehearsal dinner. On the day of our wedding, all of the sound and music was fantastic. Everyone danced their faces off and was sad when the night was over.

We would hire DNA and Darion again in a heartbeat!

I cannot say enough good things about DNA Entertainment, and more specifically about our DJ, Anthony. Our day was absolutely perfect! We were a little worried having never met him prior to the day before, but he listened to what we wanted and made it happen. The dance floor was full the entire night! We had Jason O'Neil for out wedding and he was everything we could have ever wanted in a dj and more! We had him from 4pm-2am and he knew just how to keep our guests out on the dance floor. He had to do music on the beach for reception, music in our reception hall and then move to our after party room and they was never a dull moment! He was truly amazing! I even changed a few songs the day before the wedding and he was so nice about it and had everything ready the day of. He also made sure people knew what events were happening and that people signed our guest book! We hired John Gregoria to DJ our wedding recently in Carmel at a private estate and couldn't have been more pleased. We actually had plans to meet with a different DJ to interview but while at Chic Events confirming our rentals for the wedding, Anthony asked if our DJ was in place and I informed him I was actually on my way to meet with one...He mentioned they have a DJ'ing company as well and asked for a few minutes to tell me about it...I figured I may as well while I was in town....They seemed great and provided me with a lot of helpful information...I then met with the other DJ and knew immediately that we would hire DNA. John was presented with a bit of a disappointing restriction and challenge during the walk-through of the location of our wedding by being informed that he couldn't bring in his DJ speakers but I was confident it would all work out. The day of the wedding came and with a few minor adjustments the music was absolutely perfect. We started out by having a pre-ceremony as guest were arriving and the tone of the music was so perfect and then late into the evening John rocked it...everyone was dancing, having such an awesome time. At one point both my husband and I looked over at John and he was full on "clubbing" it, making sure all songs mixed together just absolutely perfect. Awesome job! I'm so happy and thankful that Anthony approached me about their dj'ing services....Job well done!!!

John was our DJ and he did an AMAZING job. He met with us to finalize our guest list, which helped us get to know him, but, most importantly, it allowed him to customize our music so all of our guests had a BLAST. I can't recommend him enough.
Chic did a fabulous job. They elegantly draped the room,added beautiful uplighting, brought the chiavari chairs & chargers, all of which made the room elegant and classy.

Evan Parker from DNA entertainment was an awesome DJ and MC for my wedding at the Perry House. He took the time out of his schedule to chat with me prior to the wedding to go over the little details for our big day. He pretty much nailed it, from the ceremony, reception, and dancing. He was very professional with email responses, phone conversations, to the day of the wedding. I actually allowed him to choose several songs for parts of the reception and they were excellent! Not only was he professional, he was extremely fun, played all of our "must play" songs, and kept the party going until the very end.

DNA entertainment as a company was also great. It's extremely convenient that they also have a rental company, Chic Event rentals. It made the wedding planning process more convenient. They pretty much responded to my DJ service inquiry within hours of me sending it. I'd recommend DNA entertainment to any of my friends and family who wants to have a DJ who knows how to make weddings a fun, memorable experience.

DNA was easy to work with from the beginning. Our interactions were done all over the phone or email. But the true magic came from Andi our DJ the night of our wedding. She was so amazing!! Truly beautiful human being. She instantly put me at ease when we spoke on the phone for the first time to go over all my song choices and placements . I leaned on her for advise on the "feel" of the reception and making sure we got to play all of our songs. She even supported me doing a Wedding Party dance...she even announced all the parties names. (that was not easy) I was worried about the beach ceremony and the music going smoothly. I was worried about the distance from Andi to the microphones and ALL the readings and songs that we chose. IT was perfect...there was no down time... you could not even tell when the music switched. She emailed us the next day to give us Honey moon advice. She went above and beyond. I just love her. If I got married again...I would use Andi.

DNA was great! They made the whole music process very easy. Our DJ was Darion and he did an amazing job. I gave him very simple and limited instructions of the type of music and attitude we wanted and he came through. He had a great variety of music and it set the perfect mood for the wedding.

We worked with Anthony getting everything set up. He always answered all of our questions and was willing to work with us on whatever we needed. Darion was our DJ. We knew it was going to be a challenge keeping the dance floor filled with people because our families were not dancers, but Darion did an amazing job! He even got on the dance floor with us! It was so much fun!

we were a little leary because the DJ we originally met with did not end up doing our reception, which we found out just a week before. but, i think it was for the best because colin did a great job. as requested, there was no cheesiness, minimal talking over the music and GREAT selections. he played to the crowd which was really enjoying hip-hop but that's not what we prefer. the groom asked him change it up a bit and he promptly turned things just enough towards electronica/dance music to keep us happy but still keep the masses dancing. it turned into one of the best dance parties i've been too! i got so many compliments from guests about the music and how much fun they had.

Our wedding totaled 36 people, many of whom are musicians, so the quality of our music services was extremely important to us. From the preceremony music to the last dance, the music we loved played flawlessly. Evan, our DJ, totally ROCKED! Every detail was on queue. He kept up the energy to the point that our 36 people sounded like 100. He also directed everyone to the cake cutting, first dance, etc. very professionally, yet in a very fun way.
DJ services are expensive so I cut corners in many other areas so that I could afford this top-notch company and I will never regret it!
Evan met with us before the ceremony and went over all the details. I can honestly say my wedding music and DJ services were perfect in every way.
I most highly recommend DNA entertainment and Evan as your DJ. My guests can't stop talking about the reception and the fun that we had.

I used Darion from DNA and he was great! I would definitely use him again for any future parties I have. I have been receiving calls from guest of our wedding saying they have never seen such a great DJ. Darion has a gift of being able to change songs in a seamless manner so that there wasn't a quiet moment on the dance floor. We had guests on the dance floor from beginning to end. Thanks Darion!!

DNA’s professionalism and experience made sure everything ran smoothly. DNA was one of the first vendors we contacted. We wanted to make sure we had this vendor in place and that they could handle the cultural requests we had and because our wedding was on a holiday. We were assigned Jon as our DJ and he was very responsive in answering phone calls and emails whenever we had questions. We had a venue change 2 weeks before the ceremony and DNA helped us put together a beach wedding. We told them how many people and the location. Everything was set up on the beach when the wedding party got there. Jon played all the requested songs at the right moments (even with us delivering the wedding music 2 hours before the ceremony). Jon took the time to find out which songs to play at certain times during the reception even though the songs were in Russian. His questions helped us get organized and deliver what he needed to DJ our wedding/reception. DNA also edited our wedding dance song down to manageable time so we could use while learning our dance.

I was extremely satisfied with the job that Darion and all the folks at DNA for both emceeing and djing my wedding. Everything was handled flawlessly and quickly. DNA took care of the PA system for our ceremony at berwick park, then the reception at the old whlaing station. Darion was flexible and made a great playlist out of my bipolar requests and even helped gather the family and friends and put together a great horrah! Would definitely recommend, a bit pricey compared to some out there, but if you want your wedding to go off smoothly and professionally, its worth the investment.

DNA Entertainment did an amazing job at our wedding ceremony and reception. Evan was our DJ and he was very personable and open to all the songs that we wanted played at our wedding and the ones we didn't want played as well. The sound was amazing and people were dancing all night long!! We would highly recommend DNA entertainment for weddings on the Monterey Peninsula.

We had the owner, Anthony Karabetyan, as our DJ, and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Seriously, he was ridiculously fast at responding via email (which I loved, since I was planning from another state), paid attention to detail, and was just one of the most charming, charismatic guys I've ever met! And he is AWESOME at his job. My guest list didn't look to be much of a dancing group, but the dance floor was packed all night! He could read the crowd and play what they wanted!

We also had a couple of songs he didn't have in his database, but he got the right ones without any problems. He's great on the mic and knows what he's doing -- for SURE. It was so important to us to have a good DJ who kept the party going and keep people entertained, and he was perfect!!

I HIGHLY recommend Anthony and his DJs at DNA Entertainment!

Anthony and DNA are awesome! My husband was really picky about the music and Anthony and our DJ Evan made even the pickiest groom happy. Evan was professional, yet cool, totally on point and just great to work with in the week before the wedding and during the wedding itself.
The pre-planning process with Anthony was great. Poor guy heard from me WAY too many times, but he was always super responsive and so great. He customized his services to fit my budget and I would recommend him to anyone.
In fact, we liked him so much, we went with his other company for our event rentals - Chic Event Design. Just as awesome to work with! Anthony is a great business man and a joy to work with.
I think this little story says a lot about his work: We were at a bridal show and saw him there after we'd already been working with him for a number of months. My mom turned to some people looking at his work and said, "you don't even need to think twice about this guy... just book him, he's fabulous." Mom was right - he really is great!

DNA Entertainment and DJ Jon Belmont helped make our wedding a wonderful success and amazing memory. Jon was helpful and had great recommendations that helped us from our first meeting. During the wedding he was professional and personable. He was able to adjust on the fly and keep people on the dance floor all night. He rolled with whatever unscheduled requests we through at him. He even helped the photographer and ended up snapping some photos. I have attended many weddings and parties and Jon was the perfect combination of personable and fun, I would recommend them for any occasion!

Not only did he keep the party pumping all night, he played exactly the music we wanted to hear and even got on the dance floor to show us some common dances. Andi Harris deejayed my February wedding. She was such a pleasure to work with. We met a month beforehand to discuss details like the big introduction, the first dance, toast, genre of music to play, etc. It was then that her previous experience as a wedding planner became clearly evident. She had many ideas and knew of the different things that work and things that may not. All stuff that I did not consider or would not have considered not having been married or involved in a wedding before.
During the reception, Andi kept my husband and I on a tight schedule to insure that our reception stayed on track. She totally nailed our vision for an all-80’s night and played all the fun songs from that era. And she was wonderful at incorporating my husband’s and my personal/favorite love songs. Her enthusiasm for our festivities was contagious. It was a dry reception. So it takes a lot of confidence for our guests to get out on the dance floor. But Andi coaxed (really hard) them to get them up out of theirs seats. If you’re looking for a carefree, rocking deejay who will keep you in check for your reception, your best bet is to go with Andi from DNA.

Our DJ for the event was Andrea. She was great. She was very helpful when I couldn't decide on some music options. She was on time and ready to go the day of the wedding. Everything went so smooth. DJ Evan from DNA Entertainment was perfect, we had guests come up to us after the wedding and ask if they could get the playlist. Evan had worked with us to customize the wedding playlist but also find music that we loved to hear. Working with this company was really easy and they were extremely professional. A few weeks before the wedding, Evan called us and we went through the music selections with the timeline. He even said that if we needed to change anything at the last minute, he would be able to do that.

There were 3 top things that I loved about our DJ and DNA:
1) Evan was totally getting in to the music. He didn't just stand there, he looked like he was really enjoying the event and was happy.

2) 2 people came to the event, the DJ and someone to help. They came with 2 sound systems. One for the outside patio and another for the inside wedding reception.

3) The setup also included lighting.

4) The playlist rocked! Loved it.

5) Evan walked through all the music selections for the day and recommended a few if you didn't know any.

I keep hearing compliments post-wedding from everyone about how fun they had dancing (even though we had to move the dancefloor inside from the cold) and I never thought the photo booth we had would be such a hit! Especially being able to look through all the photos a couple weeks later, it's ideal for a fun memory for people to take home. DNA was a great service to add to our wedding!

Our DJ had to be top tier since the groom used to deejay in San Francisco. DJ Mario did a great job setting up the ceremony microphones and then was well prepared with the music we picked for the brunch reception. He kept to the timeline we agreed upon and played only the songs we requested. I heard nightmare stories of DJ's going rogue, he didn't do this. He was a perfectionist in honoring our requests. My only suggestion is when the Mother of the Bride asks you to play during the wardrobe change, don't tell her it is not a dancing crowd. Notify the point of contact, in our case, the Maid of Honor and let her decide on MOTB's request. Our peeps were pumped up and ready to dance, dance, dance.The highlight was watching the groom dance to one of his own U.K. Hard House songs from his DJ days. Thanks for making this happen DJ Mario. My maid of honor, husband and I all agree you earned 5 stars.

Working with Anthony at DNA Entertainment was great. He kept such great flow of the evening and was smooth in his transitions. He also did a great job with music selection. Jon at DNA was awesome. It was great to have someone young with an old soul and a wide musical variety. He captured the mood of our wedding and reception perfectly and contributed greatly to the fun factor! It was awesome.

DNA is a great DJ service. They were very professional and helpful while I was planning my wedding and the music that we wanted at our reception. Our DJ Evan took the time to talk to me and get to know my like and dislikes of music. Right up until the event he made himself available and was very flexible with any last minute changes I wanted to make. While they were a great service I felt that their prices were very high. Other than that we were happy with them.

Evan Parker can show you a good time! Guests were impressed with the jazz selection during meal service, and all age groups were entertained throughout the course of the night. At one point Evan was jumping up and down with the music while everyone was dancing. Both Evan and the owner of DNA Entertainment contacted us after the wedding and followed up on how they did on our wedding day. When I informed them that different version of our first dance song (female singer vs male) was played, they owned up to it and said they will be more careful in future events. Note to future brides & grooms: perhaps, it could have been miscommunication as well, have the DJ play the song for you, to ensure the right songs are played for your wedding.

DNA recently DJ'd our wedding in Monterey, and we were very happy with the results.

The owner, Anthony, was a fast and courteous correspondent, and uber-friendly and professional - a real treat to work with in the lead-up to the wedding.

Darion was the actual DJ at the wedding, and he was very good about pacing the music and avoiding songs we didn't want played - the dance floor was definitely hopping all night.

The only snag of the evening were some of the announcements - although he did everything in a very appropriate and respectful manner (unlike a lot of wedding DJ's I've seen), Darion did have a few bloopers in there - for instance, we were announced as the "husband and groom" when we walked in!!!!

But even with those few snafus, the evening went very well, and hey, if anything had to go wrong, a couple of verbal misquotes were the least of my worries - and it provided a good laugh to our guests! :D
