Melding of cultures

I had the privilege of working with DJ Kenny at our wedding venue for a wedding recently. He did a wonderful job of incorporating and melding together two cultures. The dance floor was packed all night.

Ken is the man!! Highly recommended, very professional!

From the beginning Ken made us feel at ease! We kept in touch throughout the planning months and he was easy to get a hold of.
He took the time to get to know us as a couple and worked closely to coordinate our song selections with the correct moments of the ceremony.
Lastly, he never made himself the center of attention. He understood he was there to accentuate our wedding experience and even provided limbo and glow sticks which the dance floor loved. He also seemed to really enjoy being there. And even took some pictures for us.
Everything we wanted in a DJ and then some. Book him. You won’t be disappointed.

DJ Kenny Casanova was the perfect choice for our music entertainment at our wedding! From the ceremony music, to cocktail hour to keeping everyone on their feet during our reception, he was awesome! He read the room perfectly and was amazing with taking our guests requests. We were very happy and would recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding!

Wonderful and easy to deal with

He was wonderful from the beginning. Was able to switch up songs last minute. My ceremony was perfect. I dont think it could have been any better. Initally he was only doing the reception and last minute things changed. Thankfully he agreed. I truly cant say enough how much he made this experience so easy for me and my husband. From my ceremony to the 1st dance and dancing with my father. Memories ill never forget. Without such a great dj the night would have been a mess. He helped navigate the whole night and i really could not be happier. Wonderful evening and experience. Highly recommend.

So much fun!

Kenny was the best DJ we’ve heard at a wedding! He chose upbeat music and really read the crowd. He did an amazing job keeping everyone engaged and kept the party going! His setup was flawless and clean, including the outdoor setup for ceremony. Kenny was amazing to work with and we can’t recommend him enough!

DJ was excellent !!

DJ Casanova was amazing. He played all the songs we wanted and specially our first dance as a married couple. We wanted a specific of first day mixed in with slow dance to a grease song which was awesome! He made our day very special and also was constantly checking in on us to make sure we were happy. I highly recommend this DJ and he is also super 😎 cool. We danced our night also with glow sticks and it felt like an amazing night!
He gets 5 stars plus from us. Thank you for being so efficient and so kind to us on our special day ❤️🤵🏼👰🏽

Fun Latin Wedding

I hired DJ Kenny Casanova to be the DJ at my wedding and am so glad I did! I live in NYC, and my wedding was out of town in upstate NY, and I had a hard time finding a DJ. I did a lot of research and he had excellent reviews. I contacted DJ Kenny several times to ensure that he could play a mix of Spanish songs and English songs and he was able to do so. I'm very picky, so I also mailed him a drive with some music that I wanted him to play and he also had a whole bunch of Latin music in his library. He always answered my emails right away, and was so nice and accommodating. My guests had a great time dancing, wanted the party to continue and didn't want to leave.

Book DJ Kenny!

Our DJ canceled one week before our wedding and luckily we found Kenny. He met us within a few days and quickly developed a plan for the soundscape for our wedding. On the day of our wedding he was attentive and professional. He read the crowd and kept the dance floor full. Kenny should have been our first choice and I fully reccomend him for any event.

Had a blast with Dj Kenny Casanova!

We contacted Kenny with only 4 weeks notice and he was able to make it happen. We spoke multiple times before the wedding and he knew which music and types we were looking for. He provided music for the approach as well as a mic and speaker so all could hear during the ceremony. Kenny Casanova was able to get our family and friends up and dancing- and he kept them there! We had a blast! He was knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend!

My husband and I used Dj Kenny Casanova for our wedding the last weekend of June this year. We couldn't be more pleased with him! Our guests thought the DJ was Great! The lighting was really good, the atmosphere and the way he hyped up our guests to get on the dance floor. I also really liked how he was so into introducing us and our parties after cocktail hour. I feel it set the good party vibe. He did our ceremony music as well as reception and Overall we are soo very please with him and his work! Deff would recommend!

DJ Kenny was so great to work with!! Attentive, and helpful through the entire process! He was responsive whenever we reached out and very helpful in the song searching process. He played the best variety of music both oldies and modern to relate to us and our guests perfectly! Kenny was not only a great DJ, but also helped handle a crisis during the reception that could've turned catastrophic --- he put out a fire on our snack bar without drawing attention to the guests and keeping it contained and everyone safe!!! We are so glad Kenny was able to DJ our wedding!!!

DJ Kenny was the perfect DJ for our wedding!!! He had everyone up on the dance floor after dinner, and he really knows how to bring the funk!!! The staff at Jackson's Old Chatham House said afterwords that it was the best wedding they've hosted in years, and they'd never seen so many people on the dance floor!!

DJ Kenny Casanova and his team are the best we had the pleasure to have dj Maria dj our wedding and she was absolutely amazing very easy to work with,helpped us with everything possible that she could, definitely went above and beyond! was a huge hit at our wedding the dance floor was not empty once dj did a great job keeping everyone going and having a great time. Maria was the DJ for our big day and we could not have made a better choice! She did the music for both the ceremony and the reception. She was super responsive throughout the planning process. We met only once prior to the wedding date and nailed down all the music right then and there. Our guests loved Maria just as much as we did. Just as soon as the dinner was over, the party started and Maria kept everyone up on the dance floor until the very last song. She has such a great energy about her and is so interactive with the guests. She took requests which people loved too! I would recommend Maria in a heartbeat to DJ any event...you wont be disappointed!

DJ Kenny and Maria went out of their way to provide us the greatest experience for our wedding. They worked with our ideas and then offered ways to enhance our musical needs. Kenny Casanova (with DJ Maria) made our wedding amazing! We got married on the Saint Sacrament steamboat in Lake George which posed some interesting challenges which he was able to solve with no issue (such as playing music for the ceremony on the third deck while the full DJ station was on the first deck). He announced us in like rockstars and controlled the timing of everything perfectly. He had the crowd dancing the whole time - old people, little kids, everyone was out there. We met ahead to go over what music we wanted and he hit it spot on. DJ Maria was out there dancing with anyone who needed a partner. They were great! The price was great! Thank you SO MUCH. We would totally recommend you to other couples (and we have). :)

DJ Kenny Casanova was recommended by a friend of ours. They spoke highly of him so we took their word and we were pleased with the results. We had a rave in the middle of the reception and he kept the party going and the crowd alive so that people kept on dancing. He was interactive with the crowd and with us. DJ Kenny Casanova did a wonderful job at our wedding! Our ceremony and reception music were perfect! He played the songs we requested and added a lot of fun twists as an announcer for different games! He always returned my emails in a timely manner which always put my mind at ease when planning. We booked the photo booth and photography package and it was well worth it! Our pictures came out beautifully and we got them ALL in hand by the end of the night! Highly recommend!

Kenny did a fantastic job at our wedding. We had an afternoon ceremony and an outdoor reception in Saratoga Springs. He kept the music lively and fun throughout the event. We didn't have a lot of dancing because it was about 90 degrees out but when people decided they wanted to hit the dance floor he was ready for them. It was not the typical reception and he adapted to it nicely. Would recommend his services to any capital region bride or groom.

DJ Kenny was great to work with! My husband and I hired him for our wedding, and DJ Maria was our music master for the evening. DJ Kenny was professional from the moment I met him, and he had music recommendations, a form to fill out for the event, people, and schedule for the music to keep the reception on track. DJ Maria was incredibly professional, fun, and with the added lights, the room seemed like a magical place. My husband and I are huge geeks, so we entered to Imperial Death March - and DJ Maria kept our geek going with little remixed tidbits of Star Wars throughout the night (R2D2 beep intro to music, etc). It was awesome and we were so excited to hear how custom that made our music sound! She also got the floor full, everyone up dancing the whole night, and even included some of our more indie music we requested. We literally were kicked off the dance floor at the end of the night, but it was so much fun we had at least 3 "last songs"! Besides that, the price can't be beat. DJ Kenny keeps his prices competitive but he is the best in town, and I would recommend him for any event, especially a wedding!!

Everyone at my wedding had a blast! Everyone was on the dance floor until the last minute. Music was my biggest concern as I had a big partying group and DJ Kenny Casanova and co were very accommodating. We were lucky to have had them! They played a large variety of music and listened to my do not play list :) great find!

Do your research. My son and his fiance started planning their wedding 2 years in advance. They live in the Schenectady, NY area and my husband and I moved to Florida, so we did not have the ability to check out DJ's locally. I did a lot of research on the internet, read reviews, listened to clips on YouTube and other postings and really liked DJ Kennys style. He was great to work with, and talk to. He made the process so easy over the internet, including the contract. He was fantastic at the Wedding reception. Totally on time, personable, easy to work with and even took requests. He has a multitude of music styles to choose from in all age genres. My daughter in laws family is part Italian, and he played some wonderful italian ballads that the guests could dance to. My second son, the best man, learned ballroom dancing in college and he loved showing off is moves with many of the guests as Kenny played his tunes. He really knew how to get the crowd involved and the dance floor was never empty, except times at dinner, but even the the tunes brought one or two couples to the floor. My husband was very impressed with his services and we both highly recommend DJ Kenny Casanova for any event that you are planning. You won't be disappointed.

Kenny and Maria are amazing! Maria met with my husband and I multiple times to make sure we were all good to go! She was amazing the day of the wedding and everyone had a great time! We were all on the dance floor all night! Maria and Kenny should be booked by everyone! We cannot wait to see them at the next wedding we go to in October!!

DJ Kenny Casanova is AMAZING at his job!! Before our wedding, he really took the time to make sure we knew what would be happening at our wedding and that we were happy with the flow of the evening. Ken gave us such good advice, far above generic DJ advice- suggestions for setup, schedule, even questions to ask other vendors to help planning go smoothly. We were so impressed we even went with the company for photography. Highly recommend!

Book him! Initially we went with Kenny just because his prices were so reasonable, but we totally lucked out by getting an amazing DJ. Anytime I emailed Kenny a question, he always responded by the end of the day, if not within the same hour. Also, Kenny checked in with my husband and I throughout the night to see if we wanted any changes to our timeline (which we needed to do a few times.) Kenny even threw in a few surprises throughout the night to get the guests engaged. When my husband and I returned from taking our wedding photos, we had some of our guests come up to us just to tell us how awesome the music had been while we were gone. The music was amazing all night and Kenny was a total professional. I could not recommend him enough!

Our wedding reception almost turned into a disaster, but due to DJ Kenny Casanova, he saved our wedding reception! We originally booked and paid up front for a different entertainment company to provide DJ services for our wedding. On the day of our wedding, we arrived early to our reception, and was absolute horrified to discover we had no DJ, no music, nothing. We called the owner of the company and the subcontracted DJ several times, both never answered nor responded. We had to scramble while our reception was starting, to make several phone calls to various DJ companies to determine if we could get anyone to show up in a moment’s notice to come to our reception. Miraculous, we got a hold of DJ Kenny Casanova. In about 20 minutes of him taking our call, he arrived to our reception. He was scheduled for another job later that evening, but he knew what situation we were in, and came to our rescue. He set up his equipment, got our reception going, and someone he knew and trusted took over, so he could make it to his already scheduled job. I can’t thank Kenny Casanova enough for what he did for us!

He is a must book. Incredibly friendly, responsive and really delivered on the day of. He took charge of the event during the pivotal parts that might have fallen through the cracks (organizing the entrance of the bride, the introductions of the bridal party, speeches). Everyone was having a great time and in the last 20 minutes, he completely blew us a away by making the judgment call on our party and included bonus glow sticks and AWESOME party music to really close out the night. Everyone was raving about him for weeks! Great value, great delivery.

We could not be happier with Kenny as the DJ at our wedding. We booked him in the 11th hour and he adjusted his schedule at the last minute to accommodate our wedding. We told him exactly what we needed, we had an older crowd of about 80 guests and our guest had a wonderful time. Kenny styed for an extra half hour when he realized the guests weren't nearly ready to leave. We will definitely call upon his services in the future any time we need a DJ. Maria (half of the Dj Kenny Casanova team) was a great Dj for our big day and I have received numerous compliments about how awesome Maria was and of the job she did. My husband is Greek and Maria looked up several Greek songs during the reception for our families to dance to and my side to get acquainted with the new Greek members of our family. We used DJ Kenny for our wedding DJ. He's an excellent DJ - did a great job announcing for formalities and kept the energy up with his music selection. We also requested the extra equipment to be able to do karaoke and added on his larger uplighting package. Overall, we received great service for everything and for a reasonable price.

Kenny and Maria were amazing DJ's! They kept my guests dancing all night long, but that's not the most impressive thing about them. There were three power outages at my wedding. The first took place during my ceremony. I later found out that Ken jumped right into action and was ready to run power through his jeep until it was determined that we could run power through the kitchen which had a generator. During my reception, the power went out during a fast paced song. Ken once again jumped into action and worked with staff to get the power running through the kitchen once again. Everyone at my wedding loved the music and week's later I still have people coming up to me saying it was the greatest music.

Kenny was wonderful! He was extremely professional and thoughtful - he grabbed us some appetizers and brought them to us when were were having our pictures taken during the cocktail hour! Kenny always answered all of my emails and phone calls quickly, usually within the hour! I was so impressed at his ability to incorporate our selected songs and get everyone on the dance floor for the rest of the reception. He checked-in with us often to see how we were doing and let us know if there was anything (ie. cake cutting) that was coming up. He even helped us get some great group shots outside of the barn! DJ Kenny Casanova was incredibly professional. He allowed me to choose much of our song selections, and chose great party music. He had all of our guests on thier feet the whole time. I am incredibly happy with our choice to do business with him. He even stayed an extra hour at our GUESTS request! DJ Kenny was amazing. He knew exactly what questions we would have before we could even think of them. Very professional and very thorough. He made the entertainment part of our reception easy and fun. There was no stress (in fact, any we might have had disappeared when we met Kenny).

We had all the music we wanted and the perfect selection that matched it. We also enjoyed karaoke throughout the night (as the majority of us were performers) and everything, the entire night, went smoothly and perfectly.

Dj Kenny and his partner Maria were amazing and really made my wedding a hit! Not only did they have amazing energy but they also helped with the wedding schedule (moving people from ceremony to cocktail hour, from cocktail hour to reception, then closing the reception). They were really professional and a lot of fun to work with! We had a Rangers Themed wedding and for our intro's we had Kenny do a "stadium" voice -- he blew everyone away! The DJ was very profesional, entertaining and helpful. Soooo much fun! And so professional!!! He helped us organize the reception without any problem. We had no idea how it was supposed to be set up or what kind of music to play when or timings on anything and he had it down perfectly. He met with us and went over the entire evening and everything seemed so simple when he explained when and why to us.

They have a HUGE selection of music and find pretty much anything. He was a great DJ and fantastic person and helped make the entire reception a blast. We even had karaoke which EVERYONE loved. Vintage style wedding with a lot of fun :)

I did a same-sex wedding at the Lodge on Echo Lake in NY. I contacted Kenny and he was very professional, upbeat and easy to work with. He provided a music worksheet for my song selections and he was prompt! In fact, he helped us out during the ceremony, playing our songs and he was a blast at the reception...making everyone have fun and laugh. He provided a good mix of music and his assistant came out on the floor and busted some moves! Everyone had a great time - which was due to the energy and contagious happy spirit Kenny had. Even though the bride and groom did not send their list of favorite songs and brought their own cd for family dances along with other requests DJ Kenny was fabulous. Kenny was an awesome DJ. I was a little timid with booking a DJ as I live in Colorado but he was the best. I had several guests come up to me during the reception and tell me he was the best DJ they had ever had.

Personally, as the bride I still had a lot of timing not worked out for the reception. DJ Kenny rolled with the punches, and offered suggestions. Since he was so willing to be flexible the guest didn't even notice the time changes.

Like I said I was very impressed with DJ Kenny, he was AWESOME!

DJ Casanova was the best. He made everything very simple to choose from and met us in advance at our venue to review the best spot for setup and dance floor. when the big day came he took care of everything. Music selections were great and the music never stopped! I would highly recommend him and think he is one of the best in the area !

As everybody knows, music can make or break any occasion. Kenny rocked our wedding. We got Soo many compliments from our guests & would not hesitate to book him again. This man got my GRANDPARENTS to dance, not an easy task! He was helpful, insightful, & professional. Would book with him again in a heartbeat!

Kenny Casanova was AMAZING! Prior to the event he was full of suggestions and was easy to get in contact with. His response time was super fast. At the event he even had more suggestions that made the evening PERFECT! We had a pirate themed wedding, so not only did he come in costume he was able to play pirate tunes and sea shanties for the cocktail hour which was his idea and EVERYONE LOVED IT! (he of course checked with the bride first to make sure it was ok!) He kept the guests moving and having a great time at the reception. We let him feel the room and play the music he thought would get people up and dancing and he got them up alright! I think we needed a bigger dance floor! People left happy and exhausted! He was professional the whole time, very fun, he danced with us too and was very friendly. Ken was even great with my brother in law who is learning disabled and was very curious about the DJing equipment. The music wasn't too loud either. His annoucing voice was great (he had a nice pirate drawl!). I can't say enough great things about him! Guests are still coming up to us and telling us what a great time they had and HOW GREAT THE DJ WAS! His prices are incrediblely reasonable and he's absolutely wonderful! If we ever have another event, it's no question, we're going with Kenny Casanova!!!

Our wedding was in June at the Pruyn House in Latham, NY. We originally booked Kenny because, as my now husband said, "How can we not have a good time with a DJ named Casanova!?!". All joking aside, Ken was absolutely great to work with. We were planning out wedding from abroad, but that was no problem with Ken. He already responded to our e-mails in a timely fashion and was really supportive even though we were so far away. It was such a releif to know that we were working together with someone who was really listening to us and was willing to accommodate our requests. This was evident on our big day; we were happy, our quests we happy, and everyone had an amazing time! Thanks to Ken for being a part of our special day!

Quality of service: Kenny went above and beyond for anything we asked. He was even able to point me in the direction of his super helpful website/blog to get some great ideas for my ceremony music (which went off without a hitch)

Responsiveness: Our wedding was in NY but we live in VA so that was stressful enough, but this guy was responsive to every single e-mail/request/question I had within at least a day of me sending it, if not hours. He was receptive to everything we wanted.

Professionalism: Came dressed for the occasion, always attentive to every detail, and just overall wonderful. I was skeptical as to how my wedding would flow, and he set my worries aside from the very get-go by providing the best flow...ever.

Value: Best value. Seriously. For the service and piece of mind he provided me, I would have paid him double. So very affordable.

Flexibility: Kenny did whatever we asked for him, I had to make a few last minute changes at the end for our entrances, and he was right on point.

Also, he brought his wife along with him to help. She was awesome. While he was working the microphone and stage, she was walking around, asking me if I needed anything.
We honestly have only great things to say about them, and my wedding day was hands down the best day of my life.

Used as DJ for a small wedding Thanksgiving weekend 2012. Kenny adapted the music to the guests and led an enjoyable YMCA lesson. All the guests enjoyed his services and he was the best value we found for a local DJ.
