Wedding DJ

DJ Danny was an exceptional wedding DJ and we would highly recommend him to anyone getting married on the Cape or nearby. He was communicative throughout the whole process and made the planning easy. We met over the phone prior to the wedding, and with just a small amount of information about our music preferences, he was able to create the perfect playlist for the dance floor. He paid attention to all the details, ensuring he had everyone's names right and that he was cueing each song at the right moment for bride and groom entrances etc. Notably, he played an extra song at the end that was mentioned by the mother of the bride during her speech earlier in the night. He was a great presence to have at our wedding!

Dj danny is the best!

This review is super long overdue, but I've been meaning to tell the world how truly amazing DJ Danny is ever since my wedding last fall. My husband and I had DJ Danny do our wedding in September 2023 at The Club at New Seabury, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Danny came highly recommended by our venue and our photographer (ShoreShotz), and he was absolutely AWESOME from the very beginning of our planning stages all the way through our wedding night. He was super responsive all throughout our planning, answering our many questions, and honoring our number of different requests. My dad actually had an idea to combine two songs for our father daughter dance (one from each of our generations), which I emailed Danny about late one evening in the middle of our planning months, and by 10am the next morning, I had a sample in my inbox from him which brought tears to my eyes. When we met up with Danny a month before our wedding day, he was extremely informative, super kind, and very accommodating of all of our ideas, requests, and preferences for our big day. On our wedding night, Danny was truly amazing - from announcing our entrances, to our first dance, to the speeches, and then his magic in the DJ booth began as dinner was being served and he had our guests running to the dance floor because the music was just so good. Danny truly gave us the dance floor of our dreams, and I will never ever forget how packed our dance floor was all night long, all thanks to him and his amazing work. Once the dance floor officially opened after dinner, I never wanted to leave it - I think I only left it once or twice to go to the bathroom. Our family and friends still rave to this day about how awesome our music & dance floor was, all thanks to Danny. Danny- thank you again for absolutely everything - we are forever grateful for your hard work & talent. I highly recommend Danny to anyone who is looking for a truly amazing DJ and a jam-packed dance floor all night long on your big day.

everyone should hire DJ Danny!!!

Where to start?! Danny turned our 140 person wedding into THE party we dreamed of. We had stations dinner we wanted to dance as much as possible. We got married on 8/16/24 at the Dennis Inn and our guests are literally still talking about the energy on the dance floor. My husband lives and breathes music - we had A LOT of must play requests spanning musical genres and generations, we explained to him the type of vibe we were going for (our props included strobe batons, captains hats, inflatable guitars and fake microphones) DJ Danny blew it out of the park. He played everything we wanted and read the crowd perfectly!

One moment we will never forget, while my husband and I were taking a few pictures cutting the cake - in the other room on the dance floor we see our families and friends blended together swaying and singing That’s Amore at the top of their lungs - then a quick transition into Unwritten before we had our first dance and parent dances. Our guests were non stop singing and dancing for 2.5 hours. We will never forget the feeling of love and everyone having so much fun. We couldn’t have asked for a more professional and experienced DJ to curate the soundtrack to our day!

Amazing!

I cannot recommend DJ Danny Walsh more! He was absolutely amazing for my wedding. He was extremely communicative with me throughout the whole planning process. He always got back to me quickly.

He helped me bring the vision of my wedding and the party to LIFE! Not only did he keep us all dancing, but I had a friend text me and say "I have never danced as much at a wedding as I did at yours. Ever."

The Best DJ!

Danny was the perfect DJ for our wedding. He was incredible! Danny was professional through the whole process and completely understood the vibe we were trying to achieve after a couple meetings. No one left the dance floor and everyone had the best time. Multiple guests of our remarked our perfect he was as a DJ and MC for the night. We would highly recommend Danny as your event DJ.

Danny kept the dance floor going all night!

We hired Danny for our wedding this past August in Plymouth, MA and he did not disappoint! In the lead-up to the wedding, he partnered with us to ensure we had everything covered, from names for intros, to processional/recessional music suggestions and even heard us out on what we did (and didn't) want to hear on the dance floor. If you're considering hiring DJ Danny for your wedding, do it! He is the best of the best!

The best!

If you want a DJ to keep you and your guests on the dancefloor - DJ Danny Walsh is the way to go! I still have guests raving about how amazing the music was at our wedding and how much fun they had on the dancefloor! We decided to go with DJ Danny Walsh after he killed it at my sister’s wedding two years prior. He was one of the first vendors we booked because at her wedding he was also able to get everyone on the dancefloor - even with a different genre than we ended up going with! DJ Danny Walsh was amazing to coordinate and communicate with! We didn’t really know what we wanted for our cocktail hour music and gave him a playlist from a movie that we liked (Guardians of Galaxy) and he easily intertwined popular songs from the playlist with his own selections! When planning songs for the dancefloor, my husband and I had so many different types of music that we really didn’t know how it was all going to be incorporated but DJ Danny Walsh was able to make it all flow and he did a great job reading the crowd to see what people liked! We were also really WOWed with how he carried out introductions for the wedding party and how he got everyone hyped and excited so by the time we entered everyone was on their feet! He’s the BEST!!!

The most epic dance floor and night to remember thanks to Danny!

Danny was an INCREDIBLE DJ!!! He had our dance floor packed all night long!! All our family and friends are still talking about how we had the best dance floor at any wedding they’ve attended! Don’t hesitate or look any further you want Danny as part of your wedding! He was super easy to work with and made sure all our requests were played. If you want your dance floor full at all times hire DJ Danny!

We were very very happy with DJ Danny! We had a couple phone calls before the Big Day, one to get to know each other and the other to really discuss what we wanted (our likes and dislikes). Danny was so easy to talk to and truly listened. He really made our dream come to life and everyone was on the dance floor the whole time. There is usually that one song that clears the dance floor, it is almost inevitable, but not for Danny, that song did not exist. Also, when we mentioned to our vendors who our DJ was, they were excited, which truly means a lot because people in the industry have obviously seen more vendors than the average person. He appeals to all ages and plays all your must haves, and is extremely professional! My husband Tim and I would truly recommend him to anyone! Thank you DJ Danny!

Danny absolutely killed it!

Our friends are Still. Talking. about our DJ / dance floor, and our wedding was 3 months ago! Danny KILLED IT. My husband and I made it clear in our conversations with Danny over the past year that keeping the dance floor going all night was a priority for us… and he 10000% delivered. We made a list of about 15 songs that we wanted him to play, and he took that and ran with it. His read on our crowd was incredibly accurate… every song had not only all of our friends on the floor the entire night, but also so many of our aunts/uncles/parents’ friends whom we never imagined would stay on the floor as long as they did! A couple of our guests who are engaged came up to us after asking for his information with the intent to book him for their weddings too. Danny also went over both our ceremony and entrance songs with us, including details such as exactly how many seconds into the song we wanted it to start (for a couple of them). His professional demeanor on our phone calls and emails kept us at ease that all the music would go as planned, and it did. We highly recommend Danny as your wedding DJ!!!

Amazing!! Hire Danny!

Danny was our dj for our wedding. He worked within our our budget, he was prompt with responding to emails and messages, he played our requests and avoided our do not play songs. Fantastic!

Danny Walsh was outstanding at our wedding at Wychmere Beach Club. He was a great announcer when introducing the wedding party at the reception, calling up fathers and best man for speeches, cake cutting etc. When the dance floor opened the music was great. I highly recommend the lighting package, it’s well worth it; it’s beautiful all night and ads a lot of energy to the dance floor. Danny was also very accommodating and flexible when we changed some songs and ordering of some reception events the week before the wedding - thanks Danny!

Five Star Wedding DJ

Danny not only made music selection a stress free experience, but he was incredible at reading the room. We got so many comments about how great the DJ was and he did a great job keeping people on the dance floor. What was most impressive to us, though, was how Danny paid attention to our entire evening. Following the last (of many!) toasts of the night, Danny played a song that our good friend has specifically mentioned in his speech. I was touched to know that Danny cared enough about our day to listen to each toast and use what he learned about us to create a special moment for us and our friends. It meant a lot. Hire Danny!

The best dj ever!

Danny Walsh is, without a doubt, the BEST wedding DJ on Cape Cod and beyond! From the very beginning, Danny was easy to work with and incredibly accommodating. Leading up to the wedding, we gave him a list of songs we liked just to give him a vibe of what we were looking for, and he NAILED it on the wedding day (which I'm confident he would have even without our list). Our friends and family have not stopped talking about how great the music was and how it was the most they've ever danced at a wedding. From the moment our parent dances ended at 8:30pm, Danny had the dance floor PACKED until our reception ended at 11:00pm. Every song went right into the next one and people I didn't expect on the dance floor were out there all night. If you want fantastic music and a packed dance floor, there is truly no other option: you NEED to hire Danny!

Our vendor that caused the most hype - and for a great reason!!

Every time we would tell anyone leading up to our wedding who our DJ was, everyone would always be so excited that we had Danny, and would tell us that he was the best we could have chosen. We thought this was a great sign because the reaction was always so strong!! He clearly had a fantastic reputation with our venue because they recommended him without question, but even our florist, cake baker, and friends who had used him would rave about him. After our wedding, we finally understand why. Danny could not have been more fun or friendly, more accommodating (rescheduling us with ease) and could not have put on a better party. He took all of our requests and fit them in perfectly, and played the best music that had our dance floor packed all night with people of all ages. We were so sad when the event ended because everyone was having such a great time, we wish we could have gone all night! We will be forever grateful to Danny for everything, making our wedding the best day of our lives.

Best DJ Ever

Choosing a DJ was one of the more important vendor choices we made for our wedding. My husband and I love dancing and have seen DJs make or break wedding receptions. Not being from the area we had to rely on reviews to find a DJ which can be a bit tricky. DJ Danny was a preferred vendor of our wedding planner and venue. After reading reviews and after our initial call with him, we knew DJ Danny was going to be the right choice. He is so easy going and in just two meetings knew exactly the musical vibe we wanted to go with. The playlist at our wedding was perfection. Even though we may be biased since it was our wedding, so many guests commented the next day how DJ Danny was such an amazing DJ and the dance floor was such a blast. We had such an amazing wedding and DJ Danny was an enormous part of that. I cannot recommend him enough!

Amazing DJ!

Danny is an AMAZING DJ. We hired him to DJ for our wedding cocktail hour and reception and were so impressed by him. He was great to work with, very responsive, and made the planning process incredibly easy. He understood exactly what we wanted (and what we didn’t want) and used our suggestions to give us the atmosphere we wanted for different parts of the evening. We had a relatively small wedding and were a little worried about keeping everyone on the dance floor, but Danny managed to keep everyone dancing until the end of the night. He also provided lighting which made our reception space look so magical and transformed it from an elegant place for dinner to a high energy dance party. I would recommend him to anyone looking for an awesome wedding DJ. Thank you, Danny!

Did not stop dancing!

I'm so happy we had DJ Danny at our wedding! Great music and dancing was one of the most important aspects of our day, and Danny listened to our music recommendations leading up to the wedding and his playlist did not disappoint. He knew how to read the room and keep playing the type of music that our particular crowd was into. It has been weeks since I got married and guests are still commenting on how great the music was. Dance floor at the Poppy was LIT

Danny was a huge part of making our night so fun, epic, and memorable. He had everyone on the dance floor all night - we got so many compliments about how great the music was and how fun the party was! He was also amazing at adding personal touches to the night - e.g. our fave football chant, shout outs to the hometowns from both sides, awesome commentary in the bridal party intro, etc. He was SUPER easy and low maintenance to work with and wowed everyone. DJ Danny Walsh made our night!!

Danny was AWESOME to work with. He was very quick to respond to all my questions, and I wanted lights last minute for the tent. He kindly brough some lights for the tent poles, and it was beautiful! It was exactly the extra touch that I was hoping we could add, and it worked out! his music selection and sequencing was beyond what we expected! The dance floor was packed all night, and I wish I was still dancing a month later! Our other vendors also said wonderful things about Danny, and ultimately that was the reason why we really wanted to work with him for our wedding! He was professional, organized, and helpful with guidance when it came to wedding traditions. I hope one day we can attend another wedding with Danny!

DJ Danny Walsh keeps the dance floor packed! HIGHLY RECCOMEND

We hired Danny Walsh to be the DJ at our wedding reception and to provide sound equipment for our beach ceremony at Wychmere Beach Club on June 06, 2021. We booked with him about a year in advance after our photographer (Kelly Cronin) HIGHLY suggested him. Immediately after having our first phone call with him, we knew he would be the perfect addition to our event. Our anticipation of working with him did not disappoint! My husband Devin and I found communicating with DJ Walsh extremely easy during the entire planning process. We were very comfortable that with his many years of DJ-ing experiences, he would be able to truly deliver elements of fun on our wedding day. Our wedding ceremony was on a beach, cocktail hour were on a roof top deck, and reception was in a ball room... we had him work just about everywhere on the property and he did so with ease. His EMC-ing and music choices transitioned beautifully throughout the event. He is extremely organized, professional and patient . If you want your wedding's dance floor to be packed until the very last song --look no further!! Guests weeks later still rave about his abilities and service. We HIGHLY recommend DJ Danny Walsh!

Everyone on the Dance Floor

Danny Walsh is absolutely amazing. My daughter's Wedding planning with Danny over the past 2 years (thru Covid) couldn't have been better. DJ Danny Walsh or BUST!!!

My husband and I selected DJ Danny Walsh for the entertainment at our wedding for May 2021. He disc-jockeyed at a friend's wedding and when I tell you that we danced the night away, we actually danced until we were booted out of the venue. We had to have Danny for our wedding!
Planning for our wedding during a pandemic was definitely a challenge; however, we stayed positive and kept in touch with Danny throughout the year. He is extremely organized with his music sheets, forms, etc. If you ever need song tips, he's your guy! Danny walked us through all the need-to-knows and worked with us to come up with a game plan for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception music. Day of, everything was seamless! Danny did a beautiful job with the ceremony and song transitions--he also provided mics for our officiant. The cocktail hour was bumping! We received so many compliments from our guests raving about the cocktail hour and song choices. Bridal party entrances were awesome--Danny learned to pronounce everyone's names without hesitation and was fluid with each pair that walked into the room. And, to no surprise, the dance floor was packed from the moment my husband and I finished our last dance welcoming everyone to join us until the lights went and it was time to head out. I've heard of two DJ Danny Walsh stories where groomsmen danced so hard that they've split their pants. One wedding, I was actually a witness (haha); the other, fortunately, I did not. But that goes to show what a vibe Danny can throw. If you are unsure of what types of music to play at your wedding, don't hesitate, Danny has your back. Danny also offers fun dance floor lighting packages. We added lightening a week before the wedding and it was a great addition! Highly recommend to get everyone pumped up! Thank you, Danny Walsh! Awesome DJ! Highly Recommend

My wife and I can not speak highly enough of Danny and the phenomenal job he did as DJ at our wedding. He made the entire process extremely easy in terms of coordinating the songs we wanted, introductions, and all music related requests. We were lucky enough to be able to have a dance floor at our wedding following the lifting of Covid restrictions and Danny was awesome! Our guests absolutely loved the playlist and we had a full dance floor for the entirety of the night. Highly recommend Danny to anyone!

Perfect experience!

After attending a friend's wedding who used Danny as her DJ, we knew we had to hire him. Unfortunately, COVID prevented the big dance party that we loved from that wedding, but our day was still made better by having Danny there. Every other vendor I talked to was thrilled when we told them that Danny would be our DJ and he absolutely lived up to their glowing reviews. He was extremely responsive and flexible throughout our planning. He listened to our requests and the mix of music he chose was spot on. Hands Down Best DJ

DJ Danny went above and beyond right from the start. I cannot say enough good things. He helped us find then perfect versions of our songs (acoustic vs radio vs piano etc) and even helped us manipulate some of the tempos for my daughter’s first dance with my husband. On top of that, DJ Danny was very responsive and flexible with our plans as COVID affected us. He was able to adapt to our new micro-wedding plan with short notice and even helped us rearrange our timeline during the event on the fly! I did not have a day of planner as we ended up having to cancel our big venue - he and my photographer saw things running a little behind and took it upon themselves to help resolve it. THANK YOU! We can’t say enough good things about Danny and neither could our guests! Danny was referred to us from a few couples that had highly recommended him and we were not disappointed. Danny was knowledgeable, professional, organized, and easy to work with since our initial email inquiry to him. All our other vendors loved working with him as well and told us how lucky we were to have him as our DJ for our wedding. He listened to our ideas and gave us suggestions on how to keep our guests on the dance floor! When we were running a little behind schedule trying to say “hellos” to all our guests, Danny kept us on schedule so we could get the party going!! Amazing, never stopped dancing!

Such an amazing DJ! He came highly recommended by the Wychmere and exceeded all of our expectations. We planned our wedding all the way from California so we were initially nervous about choosing our vendors from so far away. He was very organized and relaxed and that made planning so easy! People kept telling us that the music was spot on. From the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor he hit everything on point! Wedding DJ

Right after I got engaged more than one person approached me asking if I was getting a DJ and I said yes. They both said “hurry up and call Danny Walsh!” So I did! Our favorite party!

If you’re considering hiring Danny for your wedding...don’t consider, DO it!!! Danny was such an huge, awesome part of our wedding. My husband and I scheduled a meeting with Danny and a few other potential DJs on the same day. After meeting with Danny, we immediately knew we didn’t need the other meet and greets. When you sit down with Danny you feel like you already know him. After
hearing him talk and listening to his expertise, I felt confident in giving him creative license to DJ our wedding. Danny packs the dance floor!!

Danny was recommended to us for our wedding in June by our amazing coordinator, Wilma at the Popponesset Inn. Working with Danny was one of the best decisions we could have made. When we first met, I let Danny know that we wanted our wedding to be fast and upbeat, and we wanted everyone on the dance floor. I can say that I saw family and friends out there that I had never seen dance before. Everyone had the time of their life, and continuously RAVE to us about what an amazing DJ we had. We had a few changes at the last minute with toasts, entrances, etc., and Danny dealt with it perfectly. He was just the right amount of laid back and on top of his game, and he kept things moving flawlessly without making it feel rushed. DJ Danny Walsh is the best DJ selection that you could possibly make for your wedding. He absolutely obliterated all expectations in very aspect. From our initial phone call and booking, his responsiveness and brainstorming leading up to the wedding, through the actual execution the night of - he could not have been more perfect. He spent an hour on the phone with my husband and I answering every nuanced question we had about our entrance to the wedding reception. He took our comments and our vision for the dance floor and turned it into reality. More than anything, we wanted to make sure that the dance floor was bumping with our friends and family all night long. Look no further than DJ Danny!

Danny is a class act! Would book him 100x over for our wedding. My fiance and I are quite particular about music and had been to many weddings where the DJs were subpar and just not fun!

Friends of ours went to a wedding on the cape and said it was "the best Dj they've seen!". I immediately contacted Danny to see if he was available for our date. Danny is a true professional. We had a phone call and many emails before meeting a month before our wedding! I booked him immediately because he just seemed like he knew what he was doing. You can tell he's been in the biz and doesn't need to be micromanaging (like I tend to do). I gave him a list of songs and he told us he usually plays to the ground etc. We trusted him completely and I am SO HAPPY with the result.

We danced for 3.5 hours straight because Danny was playing bangers all night. It was honestly my worst fear that we would have an empty dance floor but the floor was packed ALL night. We even had 2 groomsmen split their tux pants...

Book Danny immediately if you want a true profession who can get anyone in a crowd dancing!!

Professional Class Act

I liked Danny’s style, mannerism and experience. We are a couple in our late 50’s so I wanted a DJ who could relate to our generation.
I was impressed from the first meeting at our venue, The Daniel Webster Inn. He was familiar with the layout of the garden where our ceremony was being held, electrical supply etc. He came prepared with his equipment and gave me suggestions and played some of the songs to give me ideas.
The music during the ceremony was done with impeccable timing. He even made a CD of my soloist’s accompaniment and mailed it to him in Michigan so he could practice.
During the reception the dance floor was packed! What more could a bride want then for her guests to have a good time.
I couldn’t be happier. There’s no wonder why he’s on the preferred vendor list.

Amazing Wedding DJ

The DJ you need to BOOK

From the very first phone call we knew Danny was going to be the PERFECT DJ for our reception. He was easy to talk to, able to answer all our questions, very reasonably priced, already knew our other vendors (and spoke highly of them), and just overall seemed easy to work with. He provided a wonderful list of songs for all parts of the reception making it easy to find one that fit our personalities perfectly. We wanted a reception that kept everyone on the dance floor as soon as it opened and even brought those who usually don't dance onto the dance floor. Our wedding was also on a Sunday night but we wanted a Saturday night feel. That is exactly what Danny did! He brought his A game and family members that never dance were up on the floor. He even took suggestions from guests and knew exactly how long to play the songs to please the guests but not be obnoxiously long. I received SO many compliments from guests stating they had so much fun and that our DJ was AWESOME.

Gay Wedding Made Perfect Thanks to DJ Danny's Attention to Detail!

Danny is quite simply the best wedding DJ around. He brought the house down at my brother's wedding four years ago, so I knew I had to hire him for my own big day! Danny is attentive, kind, and always professional. He listened closely as we described our vision for the day and executed that vision perfectly. We asked for his help putting together a very specific introduction of our wedding party, and he delivered. He actually edited the intro song to allow enough time for entrances. Our guests are still talking about how awesome it was. We asked for a fun, belt-it-out kind of vibe at dinner beyond the typical Sinatra playlist, and he played hits that people haven't heard in years (like What's Up by 4 Non Blondes). He even picks up on small details throughout the night. For example, during my brothers' best men speech, they told everyone I used to dance to Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman, and Danny played the song as soon as the speech ended. When I gave the speech at my brother's wedding four years ago and made fun of him for naming a star after his wife, Danny followed up with Shining Star by the Manhattans. It's pure genius, people! Needless to say, when it came time for dancing, everyone (and we mean everyone) was out on the dance floor. Danny has a true talent for getting a feel for the crowd and playing the perfect next song to keep the energy high. He played songs from different decades, not too many old songs or too many new songs, just hit after hit that everyone loved. He also creates his own incredible mash-ups (think Backstreet Boys vs. NSYNC as an example). I think it is important to note that Danny does NOT dominate the reception with silly comments all night long, which is a pet peeve of ours at other weddings. He really only makes a few announcements such as wedding party introductions, cake cutting, last dance, etc. Danny dresses professionally and covers up his equipment so that it really fades into the background. His up-lighting made our ballroom look even more beautiful than we thought possible. My husband and I would HIGHLY recommend Danny to anyone looking for a detail-oriented and unbelievably talented DJ with the perfect playlist to get the crowd going!

Exactly what we were looking for!

We cannot thank Danny enough for being the perfect DJ for our wedding back in March. He was a pleasure to work with from the start, and he completely understood what we were looking for! My wedding guests are still telling me (8 months later) how much fun they had and how great the music was! I really have to thank Danny for not only being a great DJ, but for easing my worries on my big day. A nor'easter fell on the day of our wedding, and I woke up in a panic because I heard the news of road closures due to high winds and rain. Danny is phenomenal and it's not just me saying that. While we were booking all our other vendors, they would ask who we were using for a DJ and when we mentioned Danny they ALL said you've got the best. He's very professional, polite and really a great guy. We live 2,000 miles away from Cape Cod and to help introduce himself we had our first meeting through FaceTime and then later on in person. Danny asked what type of music we liked and if there was any kind we'd like to stay away from and made the whole process painless. He provided the ceremony sound equipment as well as the reception. My husband and his mom, for their mother/son dance, asked Danny to help him blend two songs together and our guests loved it! Hiring Danny as our wedding DJ was the easiest wedding related decision we had to make and it was all based on his awesome reviews. Now it’s only right that I sing his praises and hopefully help someone else make the same great decision!
Danny was incredibly professional, prompt and so easy going. He is the definition of calm, cool and collected. We are still getting compliments about him and it’s been 3 months since the wedding!
He coordinated with our officiant for our beach ceremony and provided the mic, music and speakers. At the indoor reception, he had our guests smiling with his choice of dinner music. He was also super accommodating when my Dad and I wanted to give our guests a special “prequel” to our father -daughter dance with a Macarena joke! As for the tunes throughout the evening, he kept everyone on their feet all-night-long! He stuck to our “Do not play” list and kept the party going with music to please the masses and minimal commentary – something my husband and I were specifically looking for in our pick of DJ. You will definitely want to try and book Danny for your Cape Cod Wedding. Whenever I shared with another vendor that I had hired Danny Walsh, they all said, "Wow! You're lucky to have booked him - he's the best!" I was planning my wedding all the way from Chicago and he was always very receptive to phone calls and emails. Cannot say enough good things about Danny. The only thing you need to worry about is whether he's available for your wedding because he is worth every cent. We spent the majority of our budget on three things- photographer, food quality, and DJ. In our opinion, the DJ was probably the most important because thats what most people will remember- was it a good party? Our dance floor was electric, and while you can attribute it a lot to a crazy crowd + open bar, Danny never gave them a reason to stop dancing. In fact, it was the opposite. Each song was better than the last, as crazy as it sounds. It wasn't just us thinking this either. We were repeatedly approached by our guests (of all ages-20-80) throughout the night raving about the DJ. The next morning at brunch is was one of the big topics of discussion.

Our pre wedding experience with him was great. He met with us in person a couple times to review exactly what we wanted and remembered literally everything. My advice to you? If you're getting married lock him down for your event ASAP because the guy is money!

Danny Walsh was a fantastic DJ to our somewhat eclectic mix of music taste at our wedding. He gave us a great deal of guidance on how the reception could be laid out and rolled with the changes when I wanted to change things last minute! The music selection and order kept people on the dance floor all night, and each song transitioned perfectly into the next. He is a fantastic DJ with an easy going personality, great to work with on our big day.

We picked Danny due to his great reviews and we are going to give him another one! After we met with Danny the first time, we felt so comfortable with him and he was super easy to talk to. He somehow managed to mix my husband and I widely different music tastes into the greatest party ever (a quote by most of our guests)! The dance floor was packed literally the entire time. I have never attended a wedding that this has happened and I was so glad it was mine. Guests could not stop talking about how great the DJ was the next morning and we agreed! Danny is easily the best DJ ever!!! Thank you for making our wedding the greatest of all time!

When my wife and I began planning for our wedding, we knew right away the importance of having a good DJ. Most people don't realize how big of an impact a good (or bad) DJ can have. Knowing when to change songs, how to transition from song to song, and how to keep everyone on the dance floor is much harder than some may realize. Danny was extremely attentive, and paid close attention to who was on the dance floor and what was going on. My wife and I were very impressed with how professional Danny was as well. Aside from doing an outstanding job as the DJ, Danny also went above and beyond and helped us out tremendously in other ways. He did a great job announcing my wife and I, as well as our wedding party into the reception, and he also made a few other announcements that we otherwise would have had to yell, or go around to each table. If you want a DJ who is extremely professional, who will give you very helpful suggestions without putting any pressure on you, and who will really give you the best possible experience with your friends and family on your special day, I really hope you make the right choice and choose Danny. We couldn't imagine using anyone else.

After reading through many reviews in preparation for our wedding, I had very few worries about Danny. Danny was recommended to us by our wedding planner, Karen Rood, at The Wychmere Beach Club. My fiance and I spoke with a handful of other DJ's before speaking with Danny, and we were disappointed with their "showy" mentality; we did not feel confident that they wouldn't take over our wedding. We spoke with Danny once on the phone, and we hired him on the spot. A few months later, we met with him and could not have been happier with our decision to hire Danny for our wedding. Danny was incredibly accommodating and offered great suggestions to make our day incredible. One of his fantastic suggestions was to put a GoPro in my bouquet, which we did, and we now have incredible video footage of our wedding day. Danny consistently went above and beyond to accommodate us. I had a large wedding dress, and we were unsure how we would get me from the house we rented near our venue to the venue for the ceremony. Danny offered to pick me up in his van and transport me to the venue. He arrived on time at the house and had cleaned out the back of his car to make room for me and my dress.

Danny did the music for our ceremony and he did an incredible job. The music he played at our reception was absolutely perfect. He clearly has a great deal of skill reading a crowd and knowing what songs to play. Our guests are still raving about Danny, and we cannot say enough about how wonderful he was to work with! I am generally not someone who pays close attention to reviews, but Danny is absolutely incredible!

Everyone told us Danny was the best, and they were 100% right. We didn't give him a whole lot of direction - just that we wanted our wedding to be a dance party. He absolutely delivered. Everyone had such a blast dancing at our wedding, thanks to Danny's expertise and playlist. He played music that was appealing to all guests and certainly made our special day a memorable one. Simply put, Danny Walsh kicks ***. The dance floor was PACKED all night (even during meals) and it was all thanks to him. His playlist was amazing and kept the crowd going well past close. He turned "one last song" into a killer after party. He is non-intrustive (no "hype guy") and let the focus stay on us all night. Leading up to the big day, Danny was great at touching base and was super responsive to all our questions. He is the best of the best! Thank you Danny!

I can not say enough good things about Danny! He is the best! We are so happy that we choose to go with Danny! He had everyone up dancing and having a good time, all of our guests commented on what great music he was playing. We had a mix of a younger crowd and an older crowd and Danny did a perfect job of choosing some older songs that everyone liked while also mixing in todays hits. Not only did he play all the right songs but he was so great to work with. Danny is genuinely a nice guy who always answered all our emails promptly and worked with us to make our wedding just what we wanted! I would highly recommend him to any couples looking for a wedding DJ!

DJ Danny Walsh is the BEST. I may be biased because it was my wedding, but we did have several people tell us he was the best DJ they'd seen at a wedding. I couldn't have asked for more, he was amazing! Super nice, communicative, great to work with, and just plain great at his job. He had an amazing sense of the type of music we wanted, and produced a flawless playlist that had everyone on the dance floor. I didn't realize how important having a good DJ was until we were at the wedding, and I was so relieved that I'd listened to all these reviews. We also used him for lighting, which I 100% recommend as well.

If Danny is available for your wedding date...book him quick and you will be so happy you did. He was the DJ for my daughter's wedding and we are so glad we found him. It was his second wedding of the day and you would never have known it. He is so professional, nice and easy to work with. The dance floor was packed all night and no one wanted the night to end. He was such an important part of making our celebration memorable. I realized the next day I had only spoken with him at the beginning and end of the evening but that was only because he had everything under control and didn't need any interaction from us which made it so much easier to just enjoy ourselves. You don't need to look anywhere else once you find Danny Walsh!!!

We spent so long looking for DJs, and kept finding used-car-salesmen types who tried to coerce us into playing what they wanted, etc. Then we found Danny. Seriously, hire this guy. He's great--a quiet guy who plays awesome music, shows up on time, and is all-around easy to work with. As one wedding guest said to me that night, "Why is every song he plays AMAZING?"

DJ Danny Walsh was AMAZING. My guests keep telling me he was the best DJ they have ever heard. Danny is super flexible and embraced all of our crazy ideas and even made a custom mix for our grand entrance. The dance floor was packed all night long and we loved his unobtrusive approach. Danny is all about the music. He was so knowledgeable and knew just what to play. We literally did not give him any playlist except for our formals. He read the crowd perfectly. Don't hesitate.. I was recently married on Cape Cod and will admit that choosing our DJ was nerve-wracking because my husband and I both really love music and knew how important our DJ would be. We chose Danny on a whim and had a couple meetings with him and I can tell you hands-down that Danny made our wedding absolutely perfect. Literally once the dancing started after dinner we never left the dance floor and it was like he knew exactly what to play and when. He incorporated everything we wanted and then played music that was just the perfect fit for our party. We continue to get countless compliments on our reception and when we look back on our wedding day we can't stop thinking about how much fun we had. I can't speak highly enough about Danny and I 100% recommend him. He is professional, friendly, and knows his stuff. As as added bonus we paid a little extra for some fun dance floor lighting and it really transformed the space. My husband and I were nervous about the party and shouldn't have been because we had the best DJ in the state, seriously. His prices are fair and for the service you get, it's a no brainer. Where to begin.... Danny was phenomenal, perfect, everything we wanted for our wedding. He was professional, timely, and honest about his experiences with weddings. Since we were new to the whole wedding world, Danny had a lot of insight as to how it would go down. He was also familiar to our venue, which made things a lot easier since he knew the staff and also knew how the night would go. He kept the dance floor filled and the party rocking! DJ Danny did a great job DJing my April wedding, and I was so happy that I had chosen him. He was a great MC (not cheesy, not talking alllll the time) and played music that got everyone up dancing. He showed up early, stayed a little late, and was the consummate professional. He sent me paperwork to fill out beforehand and we touched base a few days before the wedding to make sure we were on the same page in terms of what kinds of music he would play and when. His sound system was great and my videographer was able to hook up to it to get clear sound for first dances, speeches, etc. Thank you Danny for helping make my wedding so amazing!

Because our wedding was a destination event, we relied heavily on recommendations. Every single vendor I asked recommended Danny without hesitation, so we took a chance on him. We were extremely delighted with our decision. He had worked at our venue on numerous occasions, which made his set up easy and our wedding day stress-free. He created a terrific ambiance during the ceremony, did a great job with introductions, etc, and had the dance floor hopping all night long! He even had a little “surprise” for our last dance of the evening. Danny was terrific to work with, and was definitely worth the money.

Danny was AWESOME! If you are planning a wedding and going to hire a DJ, you should really hire DJ Danny Walsh! I cannot say enough good things about his work. In the planning phase of my wedding, Danny was so helpful: he was very responsive to emails, offered great suggestions, and was flexible about meeting with me and my husband around our changing schedules (we were planning the wedding from off Cape).

At the wedding, my husband and I, as well as our guests, had an amazing time! The dance floor was full the entire night thanks to Danny's great music selection. I saw people dance who I have never seen dance before!

Danny was organized, professional, extremely helpful, and always very friendly. He made the wedding planning process so much easier for us and my husband and I could not be happier with his work. We know exactly who to call for our next Cape Cod function!

Danny Walsh is the best DJ on the Cape. From the moment we met him, we knew that he would be the right DJ for us. Danny was responsive to emails, he made good suggestions regarding music selections, and he met with us in advance of the wedding to go over the timeline and last minute details. He played a terrific selection of music which kept our guests (and us) dancing all night! He was laid back and didn't "talk" all night...just at the appropriate times. DJ Danny was the best DJ I have ever seen at a wedding! He was extremely professional and played an amazing playlist. He got everyone dancing and played the most amazing songs. He also played everything we asked him to play and found the best flow for our playlist which really enhanced the evening.

The music was one of the highlights of the wedding reception! DJ Danny was super friendly and outgoing yet there was nothing cheesy about this DJ/sound designer.

The extra bonus was he provided uplighting which created a great ambiance that we never anticipated.

Danny was everything I looked for in a DJ - able to read our "variety pack" wedding crowd and play the right music at the right time but super classy and unobtrusive. There will be no electric slide and obnoxious MC action with Danny! He did our ceremony music, too and was spot on with timing. I should also mention he's super professional and easy to work with. Since we were planning our wedding from afar, we did our initial consultations by phone/email but felt confident even then that he was the man for the job. Don't hesitate to hire Danny. He'll make the planning easy, and you'll have nothing to worry about on the music front!

Danny is awesome! We met with him 2 times and from those meetings he was able to tell exactly what we wanted for music and everything he played at the wedding was great...the dance floor was packed all night. He was very professional and easy to work with. We had a huge bridal party and he organized us all very easily for the intros. He does not talk on the mike too much or play cheesy line dances. I've been told several times that the DJ can make or break the wedding reception, so I knew we needed a good one. Thankfully, I had heard good things about Danny Walsh and he happened to be available for our wedding. Our sources were on point- Danny was a fantastic DJ at our wedding. We had a couple of meetings with him and he was able to get the songs we requested on our play list and was able to get a great feel for the crowd. There were people on the dance floor all night! He was extremely professional and didn't do any crazy games or dances- he just kept playing great music and only talked when he needed to. Everybody loved him and he did a great job. Excellent value for the money. My only advice is to book early- he books up very quickly!

DJ Danny had the entire wedding dancing-for the entire night. I barely had a chance to rest my feet the whole night, and that was exactly how I wanted the evening to proceed. My parents could not believe how their friends and family danced, even friends who don't typically dance at weddings and my friends have not stopped talking about how great DJ Danny was. Our venue and a friend recommended Danny for our wedding and I am more than happy that we listened! Danny had worked at our venue on many occasions and worked so well with our wedding coordinator, I felt as though he was a second coordinator. He was professional and really made the night about us (my husband and I). We didn't give him many requests and just let him do his thing and were more than pleased with his selection of music. Danny was incredible, we couldn't be happier. In our meeting before the big day, he went over everything with us, and was not only amazingly organized and professional, but very helpful to us with suggestions, including lists of ideas and songs, including ones that we would up choosing for the processional, etc. On the big day, he read the crowd perfectly, took requests, was unobtrusive, and even helped us figure out the best place for the cake! So many people said to us that he was the best DJ they have heard at a wedding. Everyone danced the entire night, including myself! Danny was great about playing all of the songs that we wanted throughout the night for parent dances, cutting the cake, etc... He does not play any choreographed dances like the chicken dance. He also will take requests but does not like to, but he knows which songs to play to keep people dancing all night. We didn't pick out any songs to come out to just left that up to him, and he did a fantastic job!

Danny Walsh was great!! He was highly recommend by our reception venue and in talking with our other vendors, they all said he was the Cape's Best!
All of our guests were up and dancing the whole night - we had a great time!! He was very easy to work with!!
