Alex from Portland Event Films Was a Lifesaver!
We can’t say enough about how Alex from Portland Event Films saved our wedding! From the get-go, Alex was incredibly professional and easygoing, making everything feel effortless. On our big day, he worked his magic behind the scenes, capturing every key moment and making sure nothing was missed. Your wedding day is a stressful one- I sure was! But as soon as I saw the cameras set up during our ceremony, I felt lighter.
The final video was beyond amazing—it truly felt like Alex saved the day by capturing both the emotional and fun sides of our wedding. Every part of the day, from the early preparations to the wild celebrations, was included, and the highlight reel had us and all our guests tearing up with joy. We were blown away!!
Alex’s communication and dedication were top-notch, and he really made us feel at ease throughout the whole process. We’re so grateful for everything he did and can’t recommend him enough. If you want someone who will go above and beyond and truly make a difference, Alex is your guy! -

From our very first meeting we could tell Alex was an absolute pro. He asks only the right questions and doesn't need much of your time to get his plan in place. His communication is timely and efficient.
On the day of the wedding he was there right at the beginning of setup. We had separate areas for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing that all needed speakers and/or microphones and he knew exactly where to place his equipment to make everything perfect and smooth.
Alex is very flexible when it comes to music choices - you can choose some, all, or none of the music that you want played for each part of the wedding. We chose some of the songs and let Alex flesh out the playists, and he did an amazing job. He kept the dance floor packed even though we didn't really think of our guests as a dancing group!
When you are planning a wedding there are a thousand decisions to make and a million things to worry about, but working with DJ Cutt means you won't spend a single second worrying about the DJ or sound system. -

I as a wedding planner, had a fabulous time working with DJ Cutt and his team. They were responsive, attentive, flexible and very kind all throughout our planning process. I am supper appreciative of their online planning tools- was super helpful in sharing wedding details. They adapted on the fly, were incredibly professional, fun and a pure joy to work with. We loved working with our day-of Dj, Stan G. ( DJ187) - quite literally my most favoirte DJ I've worked with so far! He knew how to work the crowd, had some great hits, took my direction and edits well and the crowd love him. Also probably the best and most full dance floor i've seen so far this season.
I would be more than happy to recommend Dj Cutt to all of my future clients and I look forward to working with them again! -

Alex was incredibly professional and easy to work with. He helped so much at the wedding without being asked. I really appreciated his professional website with a portal where I filled out questionarres related to what we wanted at our wedding. I highly recommend purchasing the uplighting and spotlights - they elevate the pictures and improve the vibe of any room! I highly recommend using Alex's DJ Cutt Entertainment business for your wedding. -

Amazing DJ! Kept the party going!
DJ Cutt was the best DJ I have had the experience of working with!! He was attentive and thoughtful when we were having our planning meetings and day off was just above and beyond!
He played all our listed must haves, made sure if my husband was requesting a song on the fly it would be played directly after the request, he brought cold sparks and uplights which really just brought up the scale of our event and tent.
I would recommend him to any bride! -

Alex was incredible to work with. The forms he gave us when we booked him were incredibly straightforward and user friendly. There was a lot of communication between us from the time we booked him up to the wedding and if we had any questions or concerns the responses were very prompt. I wanted my ceremony with very specific songs and it was very untraditional but it went PRECISELY as I wanted because he made sure to cater everything to exactly to my requests. We were unsure if all of his package was worth it because we had such a small wedding (50ish ppl) but it was absolutely worth every penny. All people will remember is the dancing, vibes, (and food but he wasnt involved in that lol) and he made sure that the vibe was perfect and people were always dancing. The photobooth was also very fun and a huge hit. I loved customizing the photo template! All of DJ Cutts staff were very nice and I 100% credit him with contributing to how well and smooth our wedding went. THANK YOU ALEX. -

The options DJ Curt offers with the absolute attention to detail is unlike any other. Photo Booth, dancing on a cloud, cold sparks and music made this experience absolutely amazing. -

Wedding 2023
Alex and his team were great to work with! The forms were easy to fill out, and playlists were easy to make through Spotify. I could quickly link each playlist to his form, so that we were sure to listen to the type of music my (now) husband and I enjoy. He was flexible with last minute changes on where we held our ceremony, and included his professional opinion on sound, microphones, and up lighting. I would for sure book with him again! -

We had the privilege to work with Alex on for our wedding celebration. My husband and I agree we are 100% happy with the serves he provided. Easy planning with the online planning forms. Music was one of the most important aspects of our wedding since my husband and I are big concert goers. Alex was wonderful to work with, super professional, clear, and always quick to respond. The online form system was so organized and let me create the musical vibe I was going for. I also appreciated how flexible he was about my design vision. My venue looked so beautiful in the uplighting and he even created a custom light monogram for us based on the monogram we used on our invitations and displayed it on the walls and dancefloor. The night was amazing, we got to dance with our friends and family for hours and had so much fun, all of our guest can't stop raving about how great the music and energy were. A few key vendors made my wedding a literal dream come true and Alex was one of them! Thank you so much!! -
