We loved Diana!
Choosing Diana to play the piano for our wedding ceremony was one of the best and easiest decisions of the planning process! Not only is she immensely talented, she was responsive, joyful, and went above and beyond for us - She came early to the church, learned all new songs for us, and stayed late to play while we took photos at the church. Her music and presence was such a beautiful, special part of our wedding day. Thank you, Diana! -

Our Spooky Season Wedding
Diana is such a sweet and genuine person. She was wonderful to work with. Her communication was excellent, which was definitely much appreciated as a bride who was planning her wedding. She played beautifully at our wedding ceremony. My husband wanted his entrance and our walk down the aisle together to specific songs. Diana was able to find the sheet music and executed the songs perfectly. I wanted specific music for my entrance. (It was a melody of my favorite Tim Burton songs). Diana was able to replicate it for my entrance. It was beautiful and really help set the tone of our ceremony. I highly recommend her! -

Such a talented pianist! Diana truly helped make our ceremony magical. She helped us add a special touch to our ceremony processional that made it more specific to us and not just like every other wedding. -

It was perfect!
Diana was AMAZING! Our wedding ceremony was everything we wanted and it was perfect! Chef's kiss to her piano skills, her personality, reliability, and kindness. Her prices were also very fair for her level of work! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pianist/vocalist, and I would for sure use her again in the future when I have a vow renewal! -

Dream pianist for our dream wedding
My (now) wife and I had a very specific vision for our wedding ceremony, and we knew from the start that our pianist would play a crucial role in it. Not only was Diana professional and responsive, she also took on the challenge of learning 13 new pieces at our request with such grace and versatility; She was very adaptable to our specific requests such as music order, timing of cues, and even slight adaptations to the pieces themselves, including tempo adjustments, abridging, adlibing, etc.
My process with Diana was incredibly easy and straightforward: we reached out to her via email, we had a brief video call to share our story & vision for the ceremony, we shared a document with our song list (and sheet music), and then we set up a short in-person session to hear her progress on the music and to discuss the finer details of the ceremony. Diana really understood how important this was to us and took everything to heart.
As a result, we literally had the ceremony of our dreams. Music (especially on the piano) means so much to our family, and I’m so grateful to have found a pianist as talented, professional, and adaptable as Diana. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pianist who will work with them on their vision and ultimately deliver.

Awesome addition to our wedding
We hired Diana as a wedding pianist and she created an unforgettable atmosphere. Her blend of piano melodies and live singing during the reception allowed for a beautiful ambiance without overwhelming the conversations over dinner. Plus, she sang our first dance song which added an extra touch of magic to the moment. Her responsiveness and delightful demeanor surely made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommended Diana for anyone seeking exceptional live music at their event!
Also, she is one of the few pianist that are approved to play the piano located in the East Room event space of the Richard Nixon Presidential Library. -

Diana set the perfect atmosphere for our wedding ceremony!
From the moment we contacted her, Diana was a true professional and demonstrated the kind of responsiveness you need from your wedding vendors.
But what we loved most about Diana was her voice and exceptional talent on the piano. She played our chosen songs flawlessly, even though she had to learn them beforehand. She also happily accommodated our request to play the Jeopardy theme song during a special moment in our ceremony, adding a fun and unique touch to our big day.
Diana's music set an incredible mood for our ceremony, giving our guests (and ourselves!) all the feels. Thank you Diana for helping make our wedding ceremony truly special and memorable. -

Perfect Beginning
With Diana's help, the songs we chose for our intimate backyard wedding ceremony were simply perfect. She helped an overwhelmed bride simplify the task of finding and selecting the appropriate soloist/music professional for our wedding by first providing a song list of songs commonly heard at weddings. She then kept in continual contact with me and responded immediately to any questions I had. Her solo rendition of "Two Words" was beautifully song and and set the right tone for our wedding ceremony. I had full confidence in Diana, knowing her part of our ceremony would be exactly as we had discussed and it was!! I highly recommend Diana. She is a top notch professional; her voice is beautiful and we couldn't have been happier with her role at our ceremony. -

A touch of elegance.
My wife and I are truly grateful for Diana. She was very accommodating as our original wedding date was postponed due to a pandemic. When I was searching for live musicians, it can be a difficult tasks as there are so many talented artists to choose from. Diana stood out to me as very professional, personable, and most importantly she made me and my wife feel comfortable. This past weekend, May 8, 2021 our wedding took place at the Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort in Huntington Beach. Diana and along with our cellist, Connor Bogenreif, whom she recommended exceed our expectations. We had a few special song requests for the wedding party and couldn't be more happy. We also gave her the freedom to play anything she likes throughout our ceremony and loved her song choices. I highly recommend a pianist and cellist duo. -

Excellent wedding singer
Diana was very easy to communicate as well as professional. Due to the pandemic, our tiny wedding this past weekend required some detailed adjustments, including the music. Yet she handled them with ease, provided useful feedback, and always responded nicely to our needs. Her singing was beautiful and unique (hence why we picked her). She is of course musically very well-versed. Overall, we highly recommend Diana. -

Highlight of our wedding!
Diana was my favorite wedding vendor to work with out of everyone I hired! She is so easy to work with, very sweet, and great with communication.
For our wedding, Diana played piano during the ceremony and cocktail hour/reception. After dinner, she also helped with playing dance music through a music streaming app, since we did not want to hire a DJ. Everything went SUPER smoothly, and she was really on top of everything. She also made announcements to help our event flow well.
Everything above was enough to make me super happy with her collaboration in our wedding, but what was really special about her is how beautifully she performed all of the special request songs I sent her. She learned my walking down the aisle song (a piano melody from the soundtrack of a film my husband and I love), and also a piano cover and vocals of a totally new & modern song. Both performances were so touching, and honestly sounded better than I could ever have imagined! Whenever we talked with guests about how they were enjoying the wedding, they all raved about how much they loved the music and Diana's singing. We really think that she made our wedding special.
We would 1000% recommend her, and as a plus, pricing is very reasonable :) -

Fantastic pianist/keyboardist!
I booked Diana to play for my ceremony at the Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel this past Sunday and she was such a great pianist/keyboardist. I was so appreciative that she was able to play any requested songs even ones without sheet music available which she would practice playing by ear! One of the songs she practiced playing by ear was on point when played for my exit from the ceremony. I also liked that she would send you a recording of the song she’s practicing to give a preview. I would recommend Diana to anyone for any occasion because she did a great job and was easy to work with. -

Diana played piano for our wedding and was terrific! We coordinated with her to play our "first dance" song, and she sent us a bunch of recordings tailored to our specific needs. During the dinner she played a number of our favorite songs, and she was very flexible and accommodating to last-minute modifications to the event schedule.
She is highly responsive and responsible, and an excellent pianist as well with an expansive repertoire. Definitely recommend! -

I am very pleased to have found Diana Li. I heard her video clips on you tube and I knew right away she would be a perfect fit for my wedding. Her vocal and piano skills are amazing. I was so happy that she was able to memorize a special Chinese song request on such a short last minute notice. Me and my wife loved all of the English and Chinese songs she sang and played. Her price we found to be very reasonable and best of all she comes professionally equipped with her equipment in case the venue doesn't provide any microphones or speakers. I can almost guarantee that you won't be let down at all. Thank you so much for making our night memorable. -

Diana is AMAZING!!!! A few weeks before my wedding, the music director at my church left, so I was told that I needed to find my own musician for the wedding. I panicked because I thought that I wouldn't be able to find someone with such short notice. I reached out to Diana, and she immediately and enthusiastically said that she would be honored to sing at my wedding ceremony. After only a couple of phone calls, Diana put my worries at ease. She worked directly with the church coordinator and a pianist to successfully plan out the music for my wedding ceremony. I was amazed how quickly she was able to learn the songs and how professional she was from start to finish. During the wedding ceremony, I was brought to tears because her voice was so beautiful. In fact, it brought several of my guests to tears because of her amazing angelic voice. When I think back on my wedding, one of the best moments was when Diana sang the Ave Maria song. Till this day, I still re-watch the video of her singing, and it makes me tear up. I highly recommend Diana to sing or play piano at your wedding. You can't find anyone better! -

I don't usually write reviews because I'm a busy person but after having Diana perform at our wedding ceremony, I knew I had to take the time to let everyone here know how awesome she is!!!
We were so lucky and blessed to have found her. She was a pleasure to work with. Her communication was always smooth and pleasant. She explained everything in detailed and provided advice and a list of suggested songs for every part of our ceremony. She has a huge repertoire of wonderful weddding songs and she sings like an angel. She gave our wedding that romantic touch we were looking for. Her price is very affordable too. We so enjoyed working with Diana. She went above and beyond with our requests. She played and sang our special songs so beautifully it seemed as though she had known them forever. She never hesitated to learn new songs and was masterful at the songs she knew. Our guests were amazed that even though she played for four hours, she never repeated a melody. We hired Diana to perform for our wedding last week, during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and she was wonderful! Leading up to the wedding she was easy and wonderful to work with, accommodating my last minute changes, and going with the flow. During the ceremony, she set the mood perfectly as I walked down the aisle, with her beautiful voice. Though I didn't get to hear here during cocktail hour, many of our guests said that they loved her playing and her song choices (especially the Disney tunes). If you are looking for a special performer to make your wedding day even more unique, I would highly recommend Diana! -

Diana is amazing and so very talented. We had the pleasure of her playing during our wedding ceremony and she sang during our first dance. It was so special and perfect! My husband and I had found a song for our first dance and sent the link and lyrics to Diana. A couple weeks later, she had learned the song and sang it to perfection. Diana performed at our Wedding Ceremony and Cocktail hour earlier this month. Without her, it would have been different. Every single one of our guests loved her voice! She was definitely one of the highlights of the night.
We found her through our wedding coordinator and of course we’ve read many reviews about how great she is online. She is so personable and professional, and so easy to work with. (You know what I mean when you have to work with 10+ vendors for just one event) My husband and I listened to her You Tube videos and fell in love with her flawless voice. We stopped looking around and reached out to Diana. Luckily, she was available for our date
On the day of the event, she showed up on time and knew exactly what she needed to do even though she wasn’t in the rehearsal. She communicates so well with the wedding coordinator that I had nothing to worry about! When I heard her voice outside of the door, while waiting to walk down the aisle, I wished I could have just stood there and listened to the entire song! Then, Diana performed at our cocktail hour. She was the talking point for the night! All of our guests were standing around her and listening to her music and she even jammed a few songs with my uncle! Diana is such a talented pianist and vocalist. We did not give her a song list – you probably don’t need to. She will find the right songs for your group! Many guests commended on how great her performance was and how much it added to the atmosphere of the event.
I highly recommend her and it was an absolute pleasure having Diana perform for us at our wedding!

Diana was definitely the best money spent on our wedding! We found her on the Knot and instantly fell in love with her voice. We contacted her immediately and reserved her for our wedding day. We kept in touch over emails, in which she was always very pleasant and quick to respond. She was very flexible to work with and accommodated all of our request. She even learned a special song for us and provided us with a demo prior to the wedding.
On our wedding day, we could not wait to meet her and listen to her perform. The day of the wedding, she was very punctual and professionally dressed. Diana's voice was flawless and very touching, there wasn't a dry eye at our ceremony. She created an unforgettable fairy tale ambience. Our guests were blown away by her performance and constantly complimented her on her talent. From start to finish, Diana was very sweet and professional. She is truly our favorite vendor and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to make their wedding day, a day they would cherish forever! Thank you Diana, for sharing in our special day!

We met Diana through our wedding coordinator and we are SO GLAD we did ! Diana played at our reception cocktail hour at our high end Indian-Persian reception. It was a big wedding with a lot of guests and everyone loved Diana's music, Diana did no just play the Piano but also sang for us. It was absolutely beautiful !

I found Diana through some online research that led me to her YouTube videos. When I listened to her play piano and sing, I got goosebumps!! I emailed her right away to reserve her to play for the cocktail hour at my wedding (8-2-2014). She was so pleasant to work with over emails and very responsive!
When my wedding day came, I was anxious to finish all of our photos to make time for cocktail hour and hear her. I'm so glad that I did - she was fantastic! Her voice is flawless and I loved the ambiance she created. We didn't give her any direction on song choice and she did great! I highly recommend her service and will keep her in mind for future events or friends getting married :) THANK YOU Diana for being a part of our special day!! -

First we would like to say THANK YOU!!!!!!! Not only she is a great singer, she is a really great pianist. She is a great person to work with... Diana was wonderful to work with! She was always very prompt in getting back to us. My wife and I could say that she did an amazing job; the music and singing were just fabulous. We had many of our guest comment that the music and singing were just flawless. We also appreciate that she took her time to learn a special request for us, (to be able to sing in Spanish ….which is not her language) It came out perfect!! So if you’re looking for a great Pianist/Singer Diana is the way to go. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Where do I begin with such an amazing person and musician as Diana?
My now husband and I first met Diana a few years back. My husband found her through "the knot" and contacted her to donate her talents for a fundraising gala. She was kind enough to accept. I could not believe that my husband got such a professional to come play and out of the kindness of her heart.
I knew that when we got married, I wanted her to sing for our ceremony!
She is very professional yet very personable. She always arrived early, prepared, and very accommodating to our needs. I loved all the songs she sang; we did not even have to give her a list.
Everyone at the gala and wedding loved her angelic voice and piano.
For our ceremony, she did not even come to our rehearsal but she knew exactly how to fade in and out perfectly. We even gave her a song that she never even heard of to play during our wine box ceremony and it just made it so perfect.
Diana is a true talent with so much passion for what she does and we are so glad that we met her.
As you can see, everyone else seems to agree =D

My wife and I were just married this June, and we were very fortunate to have Diana play for us. Amid all the chaos (most likely just my own perception) of the wedding day, I distinctly remember listening to her music during our cocktail hour and the calming effect it had on me. So many of our guests commented on how her performance, warm energy and smile really added to atmosphere of our event.
Diana is a very talented pianist and vocalist, with a range that really took us by surprise. She is also professional and very easy to work with, being both punctual and having a great understanding of what we were looking for. Diana, the keyboardist for my wedding ceremony, is not only a wonderfully talented pianist, who knew all the classical pieces I had hoped, she was prompt with all my email communications leaving no questions unanswered. She has a delightful personality and her professionalism and class made my wedding planning efforts to find beautiful music smooth and stress free. Diana played piano for half an hour before the wedding and sang and played the keyboard during the social hour. She was amazing! I play the piano so I know what an accomplished pianist she is. We gave her no direction of selections, and she picked a range of music that all generations would like. Everything was enjoyable to listen to. Diana has a wonderful, pleasant voice, and all I heard from the guests were compliments. She was flexible with the schedule, on top of planning, easy to work with, and conducted herself in a very professional manner. I would recommend her to anyone, as she made the event a pleasurable one. -

Diana did an amazing job playing for our wedding. She was very flexible on what we wanted and accomodated our unique situation for our backyard affair. She played live during the ceremony and cocktail hour and then played the music off my laptop for the reception. I thought she was very fairly priced. Diana is a true artist and musician! We had an intimate seaside ceremony of no more than 25 people and wanted powerful personal touches-- one being a musician to play our favorite songs for the ceremony. Diana learned and mastered the most beautiful versions of 'Everywhere' originally by Fleetwood Mac and 'This Must be the Place' originally by Talking Heads. Many of our guests didn't realize Diana was physically on site performing until they stood up after the ceremony and they were beyond impressed! It sounded as if every song she played was a master recording because her voice and piano playing comes across as exceptionally flawless. My family was ever so impressed with her professionalism and sense of awareness for the volume and the flow of ceremony. We feel so emotionally attached to the music Diana played at our wedding and we intend on listening to the recordings for the rest of our lives-- they are that amazing! Without question, the lovely Diana, will be a beautiful touch to any event and appropriate her music accordingly, keeping in mind her audience and occasion.

We hired Diana for our wedding ceremony music and I am so happy we did. She was wonderful. I emailed her all my requests for music and she was able to perform everything I wanted. She responded quickly to all my emails and questions, arrived one time the day of the wedding, and was very professional. I would hire Diana again and I highly recommend for any wedding or event. I couldn't pick a better performer. Diana did such a outstanding job. :) She played the songs I picked, and her timing was on que. Most of all, her voice was superb! I loved it when she played "A Thousand Years" while I walked down the aisle with my dad. I think everyone was in tears. Her voice will make your heart melt! My husband and I got married this past June and one of the most special and memorable aspect of our wedding was the beautiful music Diana played during out ceremony and cocktail hour. From the time our guests began arriving for the ceremony, Diana played the perfect songs and set a romantic and joyous mood for our big day. I remember hearing the music from the suite I was getting ready in and the sweet melodies just made me feel so excited and happy that today was the day! As I walked down the path towards the ceremony where my hubby was waiting, Diana played the most wonderful rendition of “Thousand Years” by Christina Perry and her singing was just spot on perfect – I was overcome with emotions just hearing the song and was fighting back tears of joy as I walked down the aisle. I couldn’t have asked for a better musician than Diana for the most picture perfect moments of my life!!!
At cocktail hour, Diana played an up-beat selection of songs and seriously, her music was one of the highlights!! So many of our guests came up and told us how great Diana’s music was and I couldn’t agree more. I wish I could’ve just sat down for a few moments just to take it all in!
Diana was great to work with. I remember finding her on Weddingwire.com about a year before our wedding and fell in LOVE with her voice as I listened to the song she sang from “Tangled”—it was just so angelic! My husband and I knew we just had to have her at our wedding and it was definitely one of our best decisions. In the weeks before the wedding, we chatted over the phone to go over song selections and Diana was so easy to work with and knew all the songs we wanted to have played! I would definitely recommend Diana in a heartbeat to anyone looking to have beautiful music played at their wedding!! She’s amazing!

Diana was excellent! She was everything you could want from a wedding musician- along with her amazing talent as a vocalist and pianist, she was very easy to work with, was willing to learn new songs that we requested, and always quickly responded to our questions via email. At the ceremony itself, she required little guidance beforehand and performed beautifully! We had many guests come up to us afterwards commenting on how wonderful the music was. My aunt in particular told me how the ceremony and the music made for one of the most "spiritual experiences" of her life.
You will have a lot to stress over leading up to your wedding, but you sure won't have to worry about the music if you go with Diana! We recommend her highly.

Diana was our first and only choice for wedding music, and we 100% recommend her for an elegant and romantic music performance for any occasion! At our wedding of 100 guests at the Segerstrom Concert Hall, Diana performed a combo of instrumentals and vocal+piano and included a range from classical pieces to contemporary pop. Her music was the perfect backdrop for multiple parts of our event: leading into the ceremony while guests were arriving/seated, the ceremony itself, cocktail hour, and our first dance at reception. Leading up to the wedding, Diana was incredibly prompt with responses, as well as organized and helpful with her suggestions. She was very accommodating, providing us with samples of her work and her own recording of our first dance song that we could use to practice. And she quickly mastered new musical pieces (even one in Chinese!) to personalize our wedding. She has a true can-do and enthusiastic attitude that is infectious and hard to come by. On the day of, Diana was 150% prepared and on-time for setup. She brought her own equipment as part of our package and moved it twice (from ceremony to cocktail and from cocktail to reception) during our event. She dressed very professionally and appropriate for her part. Another point: she effortlessly transitioned music. I mention this because it makes a world of difference to have seamless music specifically during the ceremony processional. At the same time, it's difficult to predict beforehand how long each wedding party attendant, etc. will take to walk down the aisle and thus how long each musical piece should be played. But Diana reassured me long before the wedding, and on that day, her smooth transitions customized the music for our wedding. Now after the wedding, we are still receiving an endless compliments from our guests about Diana’s exquisite performance that moved many to (happy) tears. I hope they and you'll have the privilege of hiring Diana to perform at your next important event! -

I found Diana by searching online and emailed her to ask her to perform a song at my wedding ceremony. She responded quickly and was extremely easy to work with. No contract, fast communication, showed up early for mic check, dressed formally, gave a stellar performance, and was extremely professional. She made my ceremony magical with her Disney-like voice. I first heard Diana Li sing and play the keyboard at a South Bay Love Tour event at Shade Hotel last April. I thought her voice and piano playing skills were amazing and got her contact info. After watching a few of her YouTube videos, I wanted to bring my then-fiance to an event she was attending and meet her in person. She was very sweet and answered all my questions. We decided we wanted her to perform for our ceremony and during our cocktail hour. We communicated mainly through email but our planning for the music was very smooth throughout the process.
She rocked during the ceremony and heard through others she sang and played beautifully during the cocktail hour.
I would totally recommend her for services whether it's a wedding or any other special event.

By hiring Diana Li, you are simply hiring the best! She is professional, thoughtful, and is a fantastic musician. I was taken aback at how easily she picked up a difficult piano request from me, given a short time period. We wanted her to play Duke Ellington's "A Single Petal of a Rose" for our ceremony (a tremendously challenging song!), and she did it flawlessly and with class. In addition, she sang/played the piano while we exited our venue, and we got MANY compliments on her fantastic voice. We couldn't be happier with our choice for a ceremony musician.
All in all, I cannot say enough good things about what a gem Diana is in the wedding industry--I would not hesitate to book her again! -

Diana played piano and sang at our wedding. She was professional, organized, and helpful in helping us choose our music. She was open to learning specific songs we wanted. We were impressed in that she's incredibly talented, professional, and easy to work with!

Not only did she play piano and sing beautifully, but Diana was wonderful at working with us develop the playlist of songs she would perform for all parts of the ceremony. She provided some great suggestions and was also able to accommodate specific songs we requested. From start to finish it was great to have her as part of our wedding day. -

Diana is a true professional. She helped me with finding other musicians to accomodate her at the ceremony, although she is perfect on her own. Guest are still talking about what a beautiful voice she has. I hired Diana for my daughter's wedding and as most mothers, asked for perfection. She played a beautiful version of the wedding march as my daughter walked a lengthy distance to the altar making sure the timing was perfect. She kept in touch daily by email changing the playlist each and every time I asked and believe me it was several times. She always had great suggestions. Diana arrived early,was prepared, dressed elegant and performed both for the ceremony and cocktail hour. She provided a seamless performance both logistically and artistically. Once I receive the video, I will post a performance of her singing '"The Prayer"for all to enjoy. -

Diana Li sang at my sister's wedding and she did a delightful job. She has a strong but angelic voice. Her singing and piano skills made the ceremony reflective and solemn.
At the last minute (a few days before the wedding), we asked for some changes and she was able to accommodate and sang/played all the songs we required. She was very flexible and she did everything with a smile. It is a relief to have someone who is flexible and professional at the same time. She showed up on time and followed all the instructions we had for her. I enjoyed having her take part in my sister's wedding.
