Best DJ ever!!

We couldn’t recommend Larry enough! Our wedding day was the most perfect day ever and lots of that credit goes to our DJ. People still talk about our dance party! To this day we haven’t seen a DJ we’ve loved more…Larry was so flexible and easy to work with. His layout for choosing songs and picking lineups is the best. He was great to communicate with and lined everything up for the night in exactly the way we wanted. We have recommended him to everyone who’s planning their wedding and recently go to attend a wedding at our same venue with him as the DJ again and we were not disappointed!! You will not regret picking Larry to facilitate and DJ your wedding!!

Fantastic!

We hired Diamond DJs for our wedding reception and Larry did not disappoint! He was friendly and easy to work with, his website allowed us to add all our favorite songs beforehand (and even specify which songs were "must play" songs), and everything went smoothly on the day. He arrived on time, the sound quality was great, and he kept people dancing the entire time. Larry played a huge role in making our wedding reception such a wonderful event.

Very Accommodating

We hired Larry to DJ my parents 50th wedding anniversary in April 2024 at the Newland Barn in Huntington Beach. We didn't plan on it raining on our outdoor event and we didn't have a backup plan when it did. Just as the guests were arriving it started to drizzle then steadily got heavier. We felt so bad that Larry's equipment was barely under a cover and as the storm got worse, it was apparent we had to move the party inside. Larry was very accommodating in breaking down all his equipment and set it all back up in a matter of minutes to keep the party moving along. It ended up being more of an intimate gathering than what we envisioned due to the cramped space and no dancing but Larry was able to keep us entertained with some music trivia games and passing the mic around for guests to share stories about my parents. He was very professional and courteous.

Best DJ Around!

We recently got married at The Hacienda and hired Larry from Diamond DJs to DJ our wedding, and we could not be more thrilled with our decision! We HIGHLY recommend Larry to anyone looking for a DJ for their wedding or event. Not only was Larry a fantastic DJ, but he was also a wonderful host throughout the evening. He kept everything moving at a perfect pace, ensuring the music never stopped and that everyone stayed engaged and entertained. We received SO many compliments from our guests about the music and Larry’s hosting skills!

Before the wedding, we met with Larry to discuss our preferences, and we immediately knew we wanted to book him. His professionalism and easygoing personality stood out from every other DJ we met with. Larry is incredibly knowledgeable about all genres of music, and his website made it easy for us to select all the songs we wanted to hear at the wedding. We were able to create a custom playlist well in advance, and Larry expertly balanced it with crowd favorites that kept everyone dancing.

I even made a last-minute change during the wedding, and Larry was able to accommodate my request without missing a beat. His responsiveness and punctuality before and during the event were truly appreciated, especially during the often stressful wedding planning process. Thanks to Larry, the music portion of our wedding was one thing we didn’t have to worry about.

In addition to his expertise, Larry’s pricing is very reasonable, which was an added bonus. The wedding wouldn’t have been the same without his contribution, and we will definitely be hiring him for future events and recommending him to all our friends and family. Pleased beyond belief

My husband and I found Larry through our venue and chose him to DJ our wedding on 11/15/2024. From the start, Larry impressed us with his professionalism, straightforward approach, and ease of communication.

We had a pianist for the ceremony, but DJ Larry took over seamlessly for the reception. His coordination of the music kept everything running smoothly, and we were able to relax and enjoy the evening without worry.

Using the online planning tool, I could request all my favorite songs and even customize the list for different parts of the evening. Although a few songs weren’t available, I made a special request, and Larry went above and beyond to deliver them.

Beyond managing the music, DJ Larry made the extra effort to match his outfit to our wedding theme colors and even sent us some amazing photos he took during the celebration!

I would definitely choose DJ Larry again for any future events and recommend his services without hesitation!

Best Day Of Our Lives

We went with Diamond DJ's because they were highly recommended by our venue. Our DJ, Larry went above and beyond to make our wedding day extra special. He had the dance floor packed the entire afternoon. We had some specific music mixes for our group dances and he was able to provide them all much to the delight of our crazy dance family. We really loved being able to create our own music playlist through his personalized planning portal. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Our family and friends are still talking about howe much fun our wedding day was. 5 stars!

Our prayers were answered!

When my fiancee and I were looking for a DJ for our July wedding, we prayed and prayed that someone like Larry would be available to make our wedding day unforgettable. I'm here to tell you he absolutely delivered on every level. This was a second wedding for both of us and we knew exactly what we didn't want this time around. Since we're not as tech savvy as the average wedding couple, we let Larry take the lead on putting together a phenomenal playlist for the cocktail and dinner hours as well as the dance set. His ability to read the crowd and know what to play at the exact moment throughout the night was spot on. We knew from the moment we met him in person he was going to bring our wedding vision to fruition. We cannot thank Larry enough for the truly amazing job he did on our wedding day!

Larry did such an amazing job at our wedding, can’t recommend him enough!! He has a special touch and you can tell he really cares about creating a fun and entertaining environment for everyone. He communicated well with us during the entire process leading up to the wedding and during the wedding. He was extremely quick to respond and took the time to answer any questions and assist us. He even sent us photos and videos of us that were really special. He captured moments we will cherish forever!
Larry also was the DJ for my sisters wedding 4 years ago and did an amazing job, which shows how consistent and reliable he is. He is incredibly professional yet creates an intimate and wholesome environment!

Larry is amazing!

We absolutely loved working with Larry!! He was so attentive and really understood the vibe we were going for. The music selection process was super seamless and he was able to create a perfect flow of the day (from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception) and keep the dance party going all night! Music was so important to us from the very beginning, the music can truly change the vibe of the entire day so it's important to find a DJ and MC that takes the time to listen and understand your goals. Our themes were very specific for the ceremony, then cocktail hour, then dinner and finally the dance party - he understood each part and went so above and beyond! Plus the photo booth was SO FUN! The perfect dj!

Larry was the perfect choice to DJ our wedding! We wanted our wedding to be upbeat & a full blown party and Larry absolutely nailed it! His system & process for picking out music was simple & easy to use which made our lives easier. But ultimately we told him what we wanted & gave him free rein from there. Our guests were on the dance floor the entire night & everyone has been talking about how great the music choices were. Loved diamond djs!

We absolutely loved working with Larry at Diamond DJs. The music was one of the most important considerations for our wedding and we could not have been more fortunate to work with someone who really understood us and our vibe. His music selection process was really easy. In fact, we had a ton of fun pouring ourselves some wine and spending a few hours curating the playlist! Larry made time to talk with us on the phone twice before the wedding just to make sure we were all on the same page. He was super easy to work with and very professional. We ended up choosing the photo booth add-on at the last minute and it was one of the best decisions we made for the event! Everyone loved it and took home some fantastic photos! Larry even went above and beyond during the process of choosing the green screen background. Our wedding theme was very specific and he came up with a great idea of incorporating it into the backdrop - he went so far as to take some test shots and send them to us so we could see what they would look like! We got so many compliments on the music and Larry, himself, that night. Our guests cited it as the best music they've ever heard at a wedding and remarked on what a great DJ Larry was. We wish we could replay the whole night and I attribute a lot of that to Larry. So do yourself and your guests a favor and hire him!

Absolutely Amazing! Everything we wanted and more!

I cannot say enough good things about Larry. He was recommended to me from a friend at work so I booked him right away. This was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding to be honest. Not only is he very responsive and professional, he stepped in and helped out when the venue messed up and didn't have the champagne ready for the toasts. Larry saw I was frustrated and made sure to entertain the crowd while at the same him communicating with me about what was going on. We also did the photo booth through him which was a HIT. Everyone loved it and if something was needed there he didn't skip a beat while still making sure the music was going. If you're on the fence about what DJ to have, this is your sign to have Larry at your wedding!

Wonderful Experience

I'm sure its common to be a frazzled bride. That was me during the whole process. Larry was so patient and helpful with planning out the timeline of our day and also made it so simple and easy to pick out songs for the party and for all the special moments during the wedding. The party was so fun, we have received nothing but compliments and I know Larry is a huge reason why everyone had an amazing time! So extremely happy to have had Larry on our special day. Consummate Professional

Larry is the consummate professional with a great personality and the best attitude. We did not want a DJ that would dominate the event, but someone classy, helpful and pleasant. I was referred to Diamond DJ's by my day-of coordinator with high praise and he did not disappoint! I can't stress this enough- he was VERY professional and very experienced with weddings which is exactly what you need on a day that has so many moving parts. Both our parents loved how he incorporated music into a mix for all ages and were pleased with how everything went. It was an added bonus that he had previously worked at our venue (Rancho Las Lomas) and with our coordinator so we felt confident we were in good hands. Some of the most memorable moments from the big day were thanks to Larry and my husband and I couldn't be happier with how smooth our whole day went. I would choose Diamond Dj's a hundred times over.

Professional, Courteous, and Great MC!

Diamond DJ's Entertainment, owned by Larry, was on the list of preferred vendors for our venue. We reached out to a few of the DJs on the list and Larry's prices were very competitive and offered a lot more in his wedding packages. He was always easy to communicate with, we did most of our correspondence over email and he was always responsive. He reached out the week of the wedding to ensure we were all set and had selected our music for the special events throughout the night. When I had questions about songs that weren't listed in the database, he helped me figure out how to add those custom songs. The day of the wedding, Larry had set up beautiful lighting, a great photo booth, and was nicely dressed in a suit. I also requested a special lighting effect for our first dance and it worked out very nicely. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, he captured some nice photos for us too! He was a great MC and helped facilitate a very fun night for us. He was very genuine and nice. I highly recommend Larry for your special event, you won't regret his professionalism!

Our guests are STILL talking about the music at our wedding!

Larry was INCREDIBLE! Our whole experience working with him from start to finish was perfect. He worked with us through COVID as we had to reschedule our wedding, and was super responsive to every question we had along the way. He uses a super easy to use online portal for song requests and day-of timeline details, which made our special day go off without a hitch. Larry also provided a photo booth and lighting for our big day, which made ambiance and capturing memories that much better! He really took our requests to heart and only played music that went with the vibe that we were looking for. He also invited all of our guests onto the dance floor for a group photo (which we LOVE and cherish), which was an awesome way to get everyone up and dancing - no awkward empty dance floor with a few brave souls willing to bust a move! Our guests are still raving about Larry and the music at our wedding, we're SO glad to have worked with him! Five Stars, would highly recommend!!

Amazing DJ!

Diamond DJ Larry was incredible to work with and did such an amazing job at our wedding! Prior to the wedding, he was quick to respond and answered all of our questions and concerns. I was so happy that he was available to DJ our 10/10/20 wedding on a rather short notice as well. His music platform is so extensive and it was fun choosing all the songs for our wedding. I appreciated going over our wedding day timeline with him and was so pleased that he was in contact with the venue to iron out all the little details. He helped the day go by smoothly with all the formal announcements and really knew how to keep the party going! Book Larry you won't regret it!

Larry is such an awesome DJ!! He knows how to get the party started, and more importantly keep the party going! He is also very organized. In order to prepare for the big day there is a music list where you request all of your songs, including ceremony and reception. No worries if you can't think of your favorite songs, he also has lists online of top wedding songs for every part of the big day. He is so great, he kept us informed about everything. He is also so nice and will help with anything. I would look no further when it comes to booking your DJ. Larry is phenomenal!

We had the most incredible experience with Larry! He was incredibly professional. He was so helpful and was willing to do things that you wouldn’t expect a DJ to do. He arrived so early to set up. Made sure to walk through all the details. He was quick on all of his responses. We had our wedding right before the COVID-19 lockdowns and Larry emailed us to check in and he sent some pictures he took on his phone. That was so sweet. One of the best choices for our Wedding

DJ Larry had the best list of songs for the soundtrack of our wedding. He was more than willing to do fun transitions, laser lights and cut traditional dances just a bit shorter per our request. We loved logging into his music portal monthly adding new favorites and remembering old hits. Things could not have gone better and the equipment throughout the event never failed. It must have been a good party because we even go the DJ to the dance floor! The bride really appreciated her Taylor Swift requests being played!

Larry was a dream to work with. He is very on top of communication! Any and all questions were answered within an hour!! His website to layout songs for your ceremony/reception was very easy to use! It asked me for songs for parts of the ceremony I hadn't even thought about! Would've been an awkward silence without this tool! Also, his website has suggestions for reception songs which makes things realllllyyy easy! I was able to select songs I knew were requested frequently at other weddings! Seriously wouldn't have wanted to work with anyone else! He bounced around my reception making sure everyone knew what was going on and when to be where! 10/10!

When we met Larry through our friend’s wedding we knew we had to have him as our DJ. He is absolutely fantastic, professional, and a great entertainer. Such a joy!!

Wow, Larry was incredible! It was so stressful looking for a DJ for my wedding not only because I was planning out of state but because they was a lot of pressure, a DJ sets the tone of your reception. But it was so clear since day one that Larry was going to take the time to create or vision for the tone of the evening, and the lights. Nothing about our DJ experience was stressful. At the wedding he was engaged, lively and personal!

Phenomenal Experience from Larry

Larry did an amazing job with our wedding at the Hyatt Huntington Beach. He and his team provided music for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception as well as doing the MC and photobooth. The photobooth definitely turned into a pretty big hit once everyone got a few drinks into them and saw how fun it was! Larry was extremely professional and communicative throughout the process and made sure our requests were taken care of. Highly recommended!!

You know all the little details that you worry about? And how you want everything to go perfectly without having to do it all yourself? DiamondDJs takes care of it all perfectly. I'll be honest and tell you I didn't understand the need for a good DJ before my first meeting with Larry. I honestly thought anyone with an ipod and a speaker would have been fine and didn't understand the cost people paid for a DJ. I was WRONG. They took every request we had, made it easy to find all our favorite songs, made sure no one gave toasts that we didn't want to, kept everything on pace, provided beautiful up lighting, we even got the photobooth and they killed it! I'll recommend them to anyone I know that ever needs a DJ. I just wish I could say something bad so this didn't sound too good to be true, but we were blown away with everything they did. Oh, and the DJ even coordinated his attire to fit the theme. We didn't ask for that, he just did it, because they think of everything.

Best DJ ever

From the moment we met Larry, we knew he'd be the perfect fit for our wedding. His attention to detail, professionalism, communication, knowledge, and tools set the event up for success. We gave him a wide variety of songs, far too many than could be played in 1 night and he managed to hit the right song at the right time the entire night. Our guests are still talking about how great the music was! The dance floor was full from start to finish and we couldn't be happier to have Larry be a part of our big day!

Best Decision!

I just got married June 2, 2019 at The Hacienda. We found Larry through our venues "preferred vendor" list. Like everybody I emailed all the other DJ's along with Larry. Immediately I heard back from Larry. I started emailing him to get a feel of who he was and his personality and he was very personable and easy to talk to. I remember telling him that I have a very hispanic family and we wanted a lot of cumbias/latin music to be played. Let me tell you when I say that he did not disappoint the day of the wedding. I gave him an idea of the type of music that I wanted, some songs etc. and he had no issue playing the music that I wanted/requested. I can't thank Larry enough for the amazing job he did at our wedding. The way he interacted with my family, the kids and just overall the way he was able to engaged my WHOLE family to dance is beyond me. Larry was literally one of us that day. He was part of our family! He fit in so well! He was so awesome and we can't thank him enough! From the music, the way he interacted with everyone down to the pictures he took of us. Thank you so much Larry! Our wedding would not have been the same without you!

An Amazing DJ!

We were recommended to Larry through our officiant Don Johnson. Don said that Larry had a lot of experience and is really dedicated to his work - he was not kidding. From the first time talking to Larry, it was clear that he was committed to excellence and making our wedding day spectacular. Larry was able to offer us his services for the ceremony and reception (4:30 pm to 10 pm) with uplighting and a photo booth for $1695. I could hardly believe it. Not only was it monetarily a great deal but we felt good knowing that we had a DJ who knew how the flow of the night should go, knew how to work the crowd and make the whole night fun. Larry was so flexible with us and always very accommodating. One very unique feature the Larry offers is his online platform. Through his website, you can plan the whole structure of your wedding, include information like names of the wedding party and also create your playlist for the entire day. It was great to have a tool for us where we could plan it all out and make changes so easily and at our convenience. I cannot recommend Larry's services enough. He is a wonderful DJ but also a wonderful person and we loved working with him.

Brilliant - ceremony & reception went to perfection

Diamond DJ Larry was phenomenal to work with, and he did a fantastic job at our wedding (provided services for our ceremony and reception). Even before our wedding, Larry took the time to answer all of our questions in a friendly & prompt manner, guiding us along the way. His website is super easy to use, which allowed us to customize our music selections and tailor our event as needed, and he has a huge music selection from which to choose. We wanted our wedding ceremony and reception to flow smoothly, yet be fun and romantic, and Larry definitely exceeded our expectations. The music was excellent; he seamlessly mixed music from multiple decades and genres. Many of our guests have told us what a great DJ he was. Larry handled our special requests perfectly, which included playing a slideshow and non-traditional music, and our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch. He added unexpected touches such as taking photos of our ceremony and asking us directly if we need anything during dinner. Best DJ in California!

Larry is amazing. We have been to our fair share of weddings and seen DJs and Larry blows them out of the water. He listened to what we were looking for and was able to play a mix of music for all ages and people for our wedding. He kept people engaged and interested for every aspect of the wedding. He had our 20 year old friends and our 75 year old family dancing the entire night. We spoke with Larry about how we want this to be a celebration and to keep people having fun. Larry went above and beyond. People kept coming up to us during the wedding and after asking for his contact information for their events and weddings. He knows what he is doing and how to keep the crowd entertained and engaged. We cannot recommend him enough!

Best DJ ever!

Larry is the absolute best DJ ever! We had the best time at our wedding. My husband, myself, and our guests were dancing all night. We got a package that included uplighting and a photo booth. The lighting was so great and made our venue shine. The photo booth was the BEST! Our guests loved it. The props were so much fun, and the option to print and email or text was great. Larry was so professional with everything. It was so easy to request songs and set our lineup for the ceremony. He got everyone on the dance floor and executed the timeline perfectly. Thank you!

Amazing DJ/MC to work with, look no more!

Larry was wonderful and very professional! He was highly recommended by our venue The Hacienda. We had a very specific need for how we wanted our playlists to be and Larry accommodated all of our wishes and worked out the logistics to make it happen. Our guests also later came to us and complimented how great our DJ/MC was. Larry was also our MC and I knew I could trust him to control our program in a timely manner, and he did! I didn't have to worry about a single thing because he was spot on in all the announcements and with watching the time. Another great thing about Larry is that he is the fastest responding vendor ever! He usually responds within 12 hours or less, sometimes within a few hours, and that is a big relief for a client because we just want answers or have questions and he gets right to it! Other DJs/MCs of the same quality would have cost a lot more, his prices are competitive but also very reasonable. We worked everything out with him over the phone and he's very detail oriented in making notes and then carrying out each task. Our wedding would not have been the same without a DJ/MC who is so on top of things like Larry is! BIG THANK YOU to you LARRY!

Larry was awesome to work with! From Day 1, his website music tool was easy to use and really user friendly. He provided many tips on what to use and where, and made the planning process that much easier. He really allowed us to dictate the schedule, and worked with the timeline that we put together. The photo booth was amazing, the Gobo turned out perfect, and the dancing/music went throughout the night with the dance floor never empty. Larry is hands down the best! He accommodated our (mostly) custom playlist, kept everyone on the dance floor, and the events on schedule. Out of all our vendors, he was the quickest to respond--usually within a couple hours. We wanted to do the shoe game rather than a bouquet or guarder toss, and his pre-made questions were super fun. All I can say is, Larry is the BEST! All I wanted was a big dance party at our wedding reception and DJ Larry definitely made that happen! He kept the party going at our wedding! He even jumped on the dance floor to lead some of the choreographed dances. He also added with funny or cute background songs for the speeches. He provides high quality work and is very professional. He uses an online song database that allows you to easily build your wedding playlist. My favorite part was when he gathered all of the guests on the dance floor for a group photo and then kicked off the dancing for the night. If you want a professional, quality DJ for a reasonable price, Larry is your guy!

If you’re looking for a DJ and Larry crossed your radar; STOP LOOKING. Where should I begin?!

His character is what we fell in love with. He is so genuine, pure-hearted, and a true character.

When we sat with him for our consultation my husband and I felt like we’ve known him for years. He is very easy to talk to, welcomed all wedding questions, and his process is so easy!

We ended up paying him in full right on the spot! There was no way we were about to let him slip through our fingertips.

When it came time to get our music list together it was cake!
He has TONS of music already loaded into his music choices. If you’re having a hard time picking a song he has a list of his top recommendations! Example: we didn’t know what song we wanted as our first dance, we cruised through his recommendation list for that specific dance. And through that, we were able to narrow good songs dance.

We used his categorized list to help us with so many of other dances.

Day of the wedding he was looking SO sharp! He even wore a tie to match the wedding! And before I walked down the isle Larry came and hung out with me just to settle my nerves. He kept me so calm and collected.

He directed the entire wedding, told us when things were going to happen and followed EVERY single note we put in our list. His music was a beautiful blend and was just so perfect.

We didn’t really have any dance music and Larry manhandled it! He had everyone on the dance floor, hands in the air and having a GREAT TIME.

My wife and I got married in the Long Beach area in January 2018. We currently live on the East Coast, so planning a wedding from across the country was not always easy. One thing we didn’t have to stress out about, however, was the music and entertainment for our reception: early on we found Diamond DJ’s Entertainment and DJ Larry and booked him, and we are so happy we did!!! My wife researched lots of options and once we found DJ Larry and spoke with him on the phone, we were blown away by his professionalism, enthusiasm, and attentiveness to our needs. He made himself available any time we had a question, whether by phone or e-mail, and he was always very prompt getting back to us. He explained his easy to use website to organize and plan the music for the big day. He also offers extremely fair pricing for his packages, and he is worth every dollar. When the week of the wedding finally rolled around, DJ Larry reached out to us to walk over the details of the reception. This was very helpful, as you can imagine, because there is a lot happening in the final days pre-wedding! During the reception, DJ Larry served as the MC and brought positive energy to the entire evening. He was even willing to get out onto the dance floor to keep the party going!! He provided top-notch equipment and really awesome lighting for the reception, and was even able to supply music for our cocktail hour in a separate space from the reception hall. He respected our music requests and filled in the gaps with an excellent musical balance that perfectly fit the atmosphere we wanted -- many of our guests stopped me to mention how excellent the DJ was. We couldn’t agree more! If we ever have another event in the Southern California area that needed music, we would absolutely hire DJ Larry. He gets our highest review!!

We met with Larry about 9 months before our wedding and he was an amazing professional throughout the process. Larry was a GREAT DJ and helped make our wedding reception perfect and go down without a hitch. The dance floor was packed from the dance kickoff until the very last song. He even had the brilliant idea to call ALL wedding guests to the dance floor for a group photo, right before the dance kickoff, which meant EVERYONE got out there dancing from the very beginning. Such a good idea! He was extremely professional through the entire planning process and his website has an event planning form that made planning the timeline and music requests a breeze. My husband and I were very lucky to have Larry DJ our wedding on September 2nd at Mt. Palomar Winery. After meeting with Larry we knew he was the one. Not only does he have a tool to help you schedule your event but he also went over his services in detail and explained to us exactly what our options were. He did not sugar coat anything and gave us a realistic expectation, unlike a couple of other DJs we spoke to who kept trying to upsell us.

Throughout the process Larry was very responsive and flexible with our plans, as we also hired a string quartet and had a groomsman to perform our first dance. Even though Larry didn't DJ the ceremony, he made sure our ceremony was adequately mic'ed. He also mic'ed our groomsman for his performance which was a huge help.

The song selection Larry offers is endless and if he doesn't have a song he can add it (as long as he can find it). The planning system he uses gives you the option to select the songs you want/don't want but you can also ask Larry to help you as well. Larry also took requests which made my father super happy as he was able to sneak in some of his playlist that I passed on.

Larry is definitely a great DJ and everyone at our wedding had a great time and danced. If we ever needed a DJ again Larry would be our first call. We definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ.

Larry was the perfect dj! First off he is reasonablly priced. He meets with you to get the perfect feel of what you want your wedding to be. He has a huge library to hand choose every song you want played. We had everything from 1940s to reggae to Indian to hip hop to your typical top songs. He got out on the floor and taught everyone a dance. This is a dj who truly loves music and what he does. He even sent us videos and the song list after the wedding. He is an excellent announcer and made our day very special.

All I can say is he was amazing! super attentive to our needs beyond just DJ-- he went out of his way to ensure that Matt and I had food/drinks and really alleviated a ton of stress knowing that we had a professional that would handle such an important aspect of our wedding. My husband and I found Larry from Diamond DJ's Entertainment thorough our venue. We chose Larry to be our DJ for our wedding on April 22, 2017 because he was so professional, straightforward, and easy to work with.

We had a pianist play throughout the wedding ceremony, but DJ Larry took over for the rest of the evening. The wedding ran very smoothly because of him.

I was able to request all my favorite songs for the wedding using the online planning tool and customize the list so that certain songs played during different times of the wedding. Although a couple of the songs I wanted were not available online, I put in a special request, and Larry delivered!

In addition to keeping our wedding on track and the music flowing,, DJ Larry coordinated his outfit to match our wedding theme colors and sent me some awesome photos he took throughout the wedding.

I'd definitely use DJ Larry's services again for any future events!

So, let me tell you a little about Larry.

When I booked my venue (Tivoli Too!), I was given a list of DJs to pick from. I was told a little about each DJ and when they spoke about Larry they told me that he worked for the Laguna Beach PD and that he was a little more classic rock than the others. We emailed him to get pricing information, met with him in-person, and knew that he was the one for us!

We told him what kind of music we wanted (which was a nice mix of current music and classic rock) and how we wanted Bohemian Rhapsody as the last song of the night and he was very supportive of the whole idea. He's such a kind and genuine person and you can just tell that he absolutely loves what he does. He's also incredibly organized! There's an entire online form that he sent us to fill out, including what songs we want played when, and a play/don't play list that we could add songs too (for instance, we didn't want any Justin Bieber or Green Day, but "Dancing Queen" had to make the cut!).

He also offers a photobooth service which is a STEAL at the price he offers it. And the results were phenomenal! Everybody had a blast and the book we received at the end of the night with copies of all the photo strips and notes from those in the photos is such a wonderful keepsake. We spent our wedding night looking through all of them and were just so happy.

Though our wedding was a few days ago, I'm still getting comments from people about how great Larry was and how great the music choices were. When people talk about how wonderful your DJ was, you know you made a great choice.

On top of all of this, Larry takes photos throughout the night and sends them your way a little after your wedding date. He took photos of me and my dad before we walked down the aisle and they were just adorable. A really nice moment captured when our photographer was busy elsewhere. Larry really goes above and beyond and he will make your day amazing from start to finish!

Larry was the best DJ we could have had at our wedding! My husband and I got married in early February 2017 at Tivoli Too in Laguna Beach and it was more fun than we could have ever imagined. When we met with Larry we were quickly put at ease and he helped walk us through the whole process, after all we have never done this before. Larry responded quickly every time I contacted him. I love the website that he provides for couples to organize all of their music and select the songs that they want. It made the whole process so easy. I also found creating my wedding timeline on his website extremely helpful. He impressed us and our guests throughout the entire process. He was fun and really helped get our guests in the mood to dance without being cheesy. Larry was super easy going and his professionalism shined thru as he moved us and our guests through the events of our wedding. He kept everything moving along smoothly and on schedule. My husband and I got married in October 2016. We couldn't have had the wedding we did without Larry. We had the majority of our guests literally dancing until the lights came on. We highly recommend having DJ Larry at your wedding! He makes picking a playlist easy and simple. Without him at our wedding, I'm sure lots of mistakes would of happened. He cared about us enough to help direct everything so it went smooth and the way we wanted it. Larry was the BEST DJ we could have had at our wedding! He was easy to reach and kept in contact when planning. The music was perfect and the online site he has for music requests was easy to use. When considering a DJ for your big day, look no further than Larry and Diamond DJ's Entertainment. I had no idea how much the DJ was in control of the wedding (keeping track of the timing of the evening!) His professionalism and understanding of the necessities of our evening were crucial to the success of the wedding and Larry really blew us both away.

From his initial consultation in which he laid out the entire event for us, to his easy to navigate website, and of course the actual wedding, Larry and Diamond DJ's is the one choice you HAVE to make.

Also, brownie points for taking the time to ensure his outfit was on-par with ours. He looked sharp in a suit and his tie matched the bridesmaids. That stuff matters. Pictures last forever!!!

Larry Whorman was a phenomenal D.J. We couldn't have been more pleased. I do not have one complaint. Diamond D.J.'s ceremony timeline and song request page is very easy to use and Larry followed all of our instructions to a TEE! We had a fabulous wedding , so much fun !!!! After interviewing multiple DJs, Larry was by far the most professional and easy to work with. There reviews speak for themselves. They were recommended to me by my best friend who had used them for her wedding as well so I have been to two weddings now that they have DJ'd. Larry was absolutely spectacular! First and foremost, he is professional, courteous, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He impressed us and our guests throughout the entire process. EVERYTHING went smoothly and I didn't worry at all. He was FUN and really helped get our guests in the mood to dance and enjoy each other's company. Larry was super easy going and his professionalism shined thru b/c the music compilation was brilliant! We have a culturally diverse family with opposite music preferences. The song arrangement he made seemed so natural and respected both sides of our families so well. Most impressively, I gave him an unfamiliar genre from which to choose songs (Turkish pop music) and his selection was phenomenal. My family raved about his music selections and both our families raved about the compilation of the songs. He also has the cool tool for selecting music - never knew it existed and made this whole process super easy! DJ Larry is the best! My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our choice of a DJ for our wedding. He helped us plan the order of events for our ceremony and reception in detail, and they worked perfectly on the big day! Larry is incredibly professional and was a pleasure to work with. During the reception, he did a great job of keeping our guests entertained and making sure we were enjoying ourselves. He also kept us on schedule, as we only had a certain amount of time at the venue. In addition the the excellent music playlist DJ Larry made for us, he also helped us set up a photo slide show. He showed it during dinner and it was a hit! Larry also set up some accent lighting in the reception area, and it really livened things up. I could go on and on.... My husband and I got married in early September at Tivoli Terrace in Laguna Beach and it was more fun than we could have ever imagined. Music is incredibly important to both of us, and at first we were bummed that the venue asked us to choose a DJ only from their approved list of vendors, since there are sound restrictions in Laguna Canyon. After calling a few different DJ's, we found that Larry was not the cheapest nor the most expensive, but we did not hesitate to choose him due to his remarkable professionalism and his promise for a custom tailored experience. From the very beginning, he was very responsive and comprehensive about all the services he would provide. I love how he said his goal is to have the bride and groom be "guests at their own wedding" and to not have them worry about details, as Larry takes it upon himself to orchestrate the entire reception seamlessly and with finesse. We had 100% control over our wedding playlist, with multiple levels of customization. I went a little overboard with my music requests, since the options were unlimited. I chose about 120 songs for cocktail hour, dinner, and the reception and left the rest up to Larry. The dance floor was a riot and even weeks later, people are still complimenting me on how great of a DJ Larry was and how much fun they had at the wedding. Larry made everything so simple and easy for us, and we enjoyed ourselves immensely on our wedding night. Don't think twice about booking his services! He is the real deal!

I have to begin where Larry began: he is the most professional DJ I had contact with. Initially were very unsure of our options. I haven't required the services of a professional DJ in the past, and I wasn't sure what I should be paying.
Larry started our relationship with all of his information up front. He allowed us to select over different packages he had without begging for rates, and answered all of our questions quick & completely. When we met in person we were at ease thanks to his experience and the questions he was asking us in order to provide the best service. After leaving our initial meeting we knew he was right for us.

In all honesty I was expecting him to show up, do a great job, and make sure everyone was having a good time. What I didn't expect was his willingness to help, almost becoming another coordinator for us. My beautiful wife had a moment where she was unsure about her veil. Without hesitation Larry helped her make a decision, and even gave her a tissue in case she began to tear up at our ceremony. Forget him being a DJ for a second, what a stellar human being!

I've been to a few weddings, and I had this idea of the typical DJ to basically play what they're told and come off as cheesy on the microphone. I've witnessed DJs breaking out into singing along with the music, much to the dismay of the bride & groom. Larry proved himself to be the best DJ I've ever seen! Good thing it was my wedding. I can't count the number of compliments we received on the music selection. From some great rockabilly picks during cocktails to the dance music that got everyone on the dance floor. He was able to get some great lighting for us as well, turning the reception into a party!

Larry is first on our list for a DJ, no matter what the occasion. I can't give him high enough remarks. I would recommend him to anyone who wants the best!

Wonderful, amazing, spectacular! As we sit with family and friends and talk about all the fun we had there is a recurring quote of, "your DJ was awesome!" Larry was more than we ever could have asked for. Everything operated seamlessly from the planning to the ceremony and throughout the reception. Using Larry's online portal was helpful to choose music and he was available and great to work with. Larry is an amazing Wedding DJ and person. He is very personable, knows music, and is very experienced. He is passionate and professional about his career, which definitely showed, as he genuinely cared about making sure me and my husband had a great time at our wedding and that all of our guests had a great time too! It's been 3 months since the wedding, and I am still receiving compliments on Larry and the outstanding job he did!!
Music is incredibly important to me, and finding the right DJ was one of the most important things when planning our wedding. I read plenty of reviews, watched videos of various DJs, and ultimately chose Larry for what I sensed was his mutual love and knowledge of music. I wasn't looking for an entertainer, rather a host who would set to tone of the evening, represent our style, and fill the dance floor. Larry hit it out of the park!! He exceeded any expectation that I had.
Leading up to the wedding, he was professional, prompt with answering questions, and provided tools that made planning easy. We met months prior, and I told him what I was (and wasn't) looking for. I wanted the tone of cocktail hour and dinner to have a laid back feel (classic rock and soul) and the rest of the evening to be FUN. For the dancing portion of the night, I believe I asked Larry to go "heavy on the Michael Jackson, Prince, 80's and 90's...with a few a current songs mixed in." The evening was exactly what we imagined. Our guests always seemed to be having a great time, and the dance floor was packed!! I credit Larry with providing the backdrop of an incredible evening, and look forward to working with him on future events. I would recommend him to everyone and anyone.

From the first time Marie and I met Larry, he was absolutely professional, knowledgeable, and kind. Larry is awesome!! From the very beginning he was on it. Quick, neat, polite, and just honest. He wore colors to match my groomsmen. Music was great. He has a online form that he goes through with you on your first meeting.
Like most weddings, not everything went to plan and Larry was quick to cover up our hiccups.
He had our guests dancing all night long, even some of the staff did too. It was great!! If I had to do it all over again, I would definitely book Diamond DJ Entertainment again....

Larry is a wonder to work with. He makes you feel special as a couple, is willing to work with your special requests and makes choosing the music you want to play a piece of cake!

Larry was great to work with from the start to the end. We were referred to him through a friend whose wedding we were a part of and attended a couple years ago. We knew right then when were to get married we would want him to be our DJ. Once you decide to work with Larry, you will have access to a website that you will utilize throughout your planning process. It includes every detail of your ceremony and reception that you could think of for when and where you need music to be played and what names need to be announced. Larry offers great pricing, knows Orange County venues well which eases you with logistics of planning/setting up, he responds quickly and lastly is very professional and fun at the wedding. I would hire Larry again any day!
