  Maggie was the best!

  We used DestinationWeddings.com to assist us in planning our Destination wedding in Riviera Maya, Mexico. We went with this company as I attended a wedding in 2018 in Mexico where my friend used the same company and they were really pleased with their experience and I thought the wedding was great! We started speaking with our planner Maggie Elles at DestinationWeddings in January 2023 and just had our wedding in January 2024. I would highly recommend Maggie. We gave her a budget and described our group vibe and she was very helpful in assisting us picking out our venue. We met with her often before signing our contract with our venue and then met with us every time we would have zoom meetings with our rep from our resort. I felt that since we had Maggie, that she would be able to decipher and articulate back to us what to expect, read the fine print, and answer any questions we had, which she did wonderfully. I feel like having a wedding planner, especially for a foreign destination was extremely helpful and they truly became an advocate for us. Maggie herself was also very responsive - which is what we needed. I also liked going through DestinationWeddings as they over promos on certain resorts so we ended up getting money back! We had a great wedding and have no regrets about using DestinationWeddings.

  Incredible Experience w/ Denise - Huge Destination Wedding in Mexico!

  Denise was the epitome of detailed organization, proactive communication, and calming energy during the yearlong planning of our destination wedding. She is such an expert in the space that all of the travel logistics became one less thing we had to worry about.
  
  We had over 160 guests traveling from all over the world who Denise communicated with one by one and ensured that their travel itineraries were correct and seamless. We did not have one single issue, and Denise worked with us as flights were canceled, people missed connections and things happened in the moment that we could not prepare for.
  
  Denise always went the extra mile for us - since we were not able to afford a wedding planner, we had to do almost everything ourselves, and Denise stepped in and used the plethora of connections she has made over such a long career in the business to make sure that our hotel and vendors were all meeting our needs. She jumped on phone calls, was CC'ed on every email and made sure that all of our asks were met and that we felt comfortable and confident going into our big weekend. We can’t thank her enough for making something that was very time-consuming and stressful a more enjoyable experience. All of our guests were so happy with the weekend and so much of that is thanks to Denise.
  
  I would recommend Denise to anyone looking to plan a destination wedding, especially on the East Coast of Mexico as she has so much expertise in the area. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU DENISE!

  Andrea is who you need!

  I have been working with Andrea for years. Not for a wedding which she specializes in. But, for personal vacations. Birthdays and just because. She is always so helpful and attentive. All my vacations have been nothing but amazing. I have not had one issue with any of her recommendations. She defiantly is a one stop shop when it comes to planning from start to finish of your holiday. I cannot thank her enough for all the amazing memories my friends and I have created.   Judy Hack Jamaica Wedding

  Judy Hack was excellent with the planning and execution of our travel arrangements for our wedding. She provided many options for us and was very attentive to our wants and needs. It was always easy to get ahold of her and she always emailed back promptly. She also checked in on us very often and communicated clearly to us. Thank you Judy!

  Great service and communication

  My wedding was 9/1/24 in Cancun's Moon Palace. Our coordinator was Stephanie Parks and she was beyond amazing! Fast and courteous with responding to call texts and emails for me and my party! The communication with her was flawless. She kept me updated with all communication with the resort. She even sent me pics of the resort when she went for a conference at Moon Palace. I would choose her all over again!!

  Happy Customer

  Except for one time when due to a mistake I made I never had to contact our service provider Pamela Gramling and she straightened that out real quick. Other than that she was providing us with any information we needed before we even knew to ask for it. I don't know how we could be any happier with the service we got than we are. Great job by Pamela and the Destination Weddings group.

  We just got married in May 2024 in Costa Rica at the Dreams Las Mareas Resort and Melissa Salgado Shah from destination weddings has been a god send to my wife and I since the beginning of our planning (3 years ago)! What a gem, she was in constant communication with us, always made us feel like we were never a bother, attended to our guests and to the resort when we had questions. So professional and polite, i just can't thank her enough for helping in making our dream wedding come true. I don't have any negative comments on DestinationWeddings.com free service! In fact, every destination wedding needs people like their staff to help with organizing all the details. I highly recommend Melissa and DesignationWeddings.com. They are the absolute best!!

  Secrets Wild Orchid Wedding with Specialist Lynda Edwards

  We used DestinationWeddings to plan our wedding in Montego Bay Jamaica at Secrets Wild Orchid. Lynda Edwards was our specialist and she was amazing! She was very responsive to all of our questions and was very great at communicating with the resort and us. She made sure that all of our details were presented to the resort and advocated for all of our wants as well. She made planning a destination wedding a total breeze.   My coordinator, Amy, was just the sweetest! Extremely easy to work with, understanding, and great with her communication. The whole process made everything so easy for us and our guests - to the point that we'll all be going back to Amy's incredible venue suggestion.

  Unbelievable Experience! Thanks to Amy from DestinationWeddings

  We had the pleasure of receiving help from Amy Cate as our expert destination wedding travel agent. From the first time we talked with Amy on the phone after filling out the inquiry form, we knew right away we wanted her help through this process, and boy did she not disappoint! We chose our resort (Dreams Royal Beach, highly recommend), and that is when Amy just took over and made the entire process much smoother. She got our website setup where the guests would go to get information and book their rooms. She would be in direct contact not just with us, but any of our guests that had any questions throughout the entire process. She handled all the heavy leg work directly with the resort, and wedding department. She handled transportation for us and ALL the 60 guests to and from the resort. There is no chance we could've made this happen without the help from Amy and DestinationWeddings, and are truly grateful for her help. Our wedding/experience turned out even better than we imagined. Don't do this alone, I would highly recommend using DestinationWeddings and ask for Amy.

  René Wills was the travel agent from Destination Weddings that booked my wedding. She was amazing to work with and managed all bookings with ease.   My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Amy Boyce with Destination Weddings for our wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa on August 16, 2024. Amy is beyond amazing! She was so helpful, and we couldn’t have planned our wedding without her. She helped us plan our wedding on an expedited timeline and was always great at communicating and keeping us up to date on all the details.   Planning with Melissa from Destination Weddings!

  We worked with Melissa from Destination Weddings and she was AMAZING. She was extremely kind, responsive and genuine. She spoke from experience regarding her destination wedding and you could feel that she truly wanted to do everything she could to organize the wedding of your dreams. Melissa helped us find an off site venue, a resort that fit our requests, she provided pricing from a variety of sources and was extremely quick to respond while even answering emails on evenings and weekends! If you are looking to plan a destination wedding, Melissa is your girl!!

Melissa helped us find an off site venue, a resort that fit our requests, she provided pricing from a variety of sources and was extremely quick to respond while even answering emails on evenings and weekends! If you are looking to plan a destination wedding, Melissa is your girl!!

  TJ Dana is a blessing!!!

  TJ Dana has been nothing but absolutely wonderful throughout my process of booking this wedding. My wedding is booked for June 7th of this year at dreams La Mareas, the booking has been in place for at least 18 months if not longer. My original wedding planner at the resort was Caroly, She was very rude, spoke over me, Never responded.
  
  Tj immediately stepped in to address this issue, even Caroly was abruptive, interrupting Tj and trying to speak over her. Tj professionally stepped in and informed her that she was being rude and condescending and we would need to escalate this matter as she was not LISTENING to me and my concerns for my wedding day. Tj took the initiative to request a new planner at the Resort, which did not get approved request. Even with the resort denying the request Tj spoke to the Manger on a group conference call to ensure that the quality service in the future will be improved.
  
  Even after this assurance from the manager things did not change. Caroly even had her team believe she kept all meetings with me but Tj was quick to defend the truth for me and resolve this misunderstanding and successfully got me a new planner at the resort to work with. She attended the conference call to ensure the quality of service was to my satisfaction eith the new planner and that no one would try to bully me again.
  
  I cannot express how grateful I am to have her on my side through this planning process. Even when I visited the resort she called me daily to ensure that everything was to my satisfaction. She has worked with so many of our guest to assist them in their booking of rooms and transportation needs from the airpot to resort and back.

  Destination weddings all star!

  Working with Maggie was nothing short of amazing, and I would highly recommend her services to anyone. She consistently went above and beyond her duties from the beginning to the end of our engagement. My journey with Maggie started about a year and a half before my wedding date when I was initially searching for information about destination weddings. At that point, all I knew was that I wanted a destination wedding, but I had no idea where to start.
  
  When I reached out to Maggie, she asked insightful questions to help narrow down the potential destinations and hotels that would best suit my needs. She then sent well-organized emails detailing various locations and each hotel that met my criteria. Each hotel’s email included comprehensive information about the amenities and the cost of the wedding based on the number of attendees. Her meticulous organization impressed me right from the start.
  
  Throughout the rest of my journey, Maggie wore multiple hats for me: she was my advisor, advocate, therapist, and sometimes even felt like a really good friend. She made the taxing task of wedding planning much more bearable.
  
  My only advice to others using Maggie’s services would be to inform their guests about Maggie’s role and that she is not being paid by us directly. Some of my guests assumed she was my wedding planner, paid by me, and working for the hotel. Once I explained Maggie’s actual duties and asked for their patience, most of them were more understanding. It’s also important to remember that Maggie is human, with days off and the occasional sick day like everyone else.
  
  If I could go back and do it all over again, I would choose Maggie every single time. She is phenomenal, and although I’m thrilled that the wedding planning is over, I will certainly miss Maggie’s warm and welcoming presence during our phone calls.

  Destination Weddings and Stephanie Parks the best!

  There aren't enough words to truly describe how grateful I am. Destination Weddings was definitely the right choice to plan my Destination wedding. Stephanie Parks from the very beginning was communicative, knowledgeable, supportive and professional. She was so wonderful in being a buffer for my husband and I during the year long process. She assisted my family and friends through every adjustment. We had our wedding at Royalton Splash Riviera, it was absolutely stunning. Stephanie also was integral in keeping an open line of communication between us and the wedding planners. She made planning a wedding so smooth. I would recommend Destination Weddings to everyone. Just so happy with everything! The Most perfect experience.

  Destination Wedding Made Easy

  We had a wonderful experience planning our wedding with the Destination Weddings team. We were originally referred by a friend who had used them, and we began looking into their website. After filling out a short questionnaire of what we wanted, Christine Scholander quickly responded and helped lay the groundwork for our wedding getaway. She was extremely helpful when it came to selecting the right venue. We got enough options that we could find everything we were looking for without being overwhelmed. Christine gave us pros and cons of each, and made sure we were clear with the next steps after booking a resort and date.
  
  Destination Weddings made the booking process for our room block easy. They walked us through all of the contracts and deposits. Destination Weddings was an excellent middle man and took a lot of the burden off of our shoulders. That included Rene Willis, who helped us book rooms and coordinate with the wedding team on-site. Rene was quick to answer any and all questions we had. She also helped our guests with booking rooms and travel arrangements, so we didn't have to. That included helping our guests upgrade to rooms that weren't originally in our room block. Shuttle arrangements to and from the airport was also a fantastic perk. Rene handled all of that setup and gave clear instructions to all of our guests for what they needed and should expect when traveling.
  
  Communication between Rene, us and our guests was one of the biggest advantages throughout the planning process.
  
  Rene also helped us book an excursion on the resort. She got us a quote and booked everything very efficiently. I was glad we leaned on her for this - the excursion was one of the highlights of our trip. Between planning, travel and bills, we never felt disconnected or unsure of what we needed to do thanks to Destination Weddings. I would absolutely recommend Christine, Rene and their team if you're considering a destination wedding.

  Rene wills is an angel! Use destination weddings

  My husband and I got married in the Dominican Republic in April of 2024! It was the happiest day of our lives… we were surrounded by 100 guests that made the trip to celebrate US! This would not have been possible without our travel agent, Rene Wills!!! Rene is dedicated to her clients! She goes the extra mile to personally know the couple she is working with and gets things done! Multiple times I had to reach out to her for help with the resort and she was responsive, professional, and timely. There are only a few things that I would change about our entire destination wedding experience, but using destination weddings (specifically Rene Wills) is NOT one. She is simply amazing and irreplaceable. Thank you Rene for your dedication, compassion, and work ethic. We are so thankful for you.

Amy was so helpful, detail oriented and was able to pick the best resort for our style/ wants. She was able to book our 70 guests and answer all their questions as well.   The process honestly, was a breeze and made me question why anyone would elect otherwise. I did not have to communicate with the resorts to request dates or quotes intially before deciding on the Hard Rock Cabo. All recommendations were reputable.
  
  I highly recommend the service of DW.
