Great DJ for our wedding

Denon & Doyle provided exceptional DJ services for our wedding! They handled everything seamlessly, from setting up the sound system and mic for speeches during dinner to creating the perfect atmosphere on the dance floor.

The planning process was simple and stress-free—we filled out a form to choose our first dance, must-play and do-not-play songs, and they executed everything flawlessly. Their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire experience so easy and enjoyable.

On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable for the quality of service they provided. We highly recommend Denon & Doyle to anyone looking for a fantastic DJ for their wedding or event!

Highly recommend Ed!

Denon & Doyle did a wonderful job DJing our wedding in New Hampshire! Ed was our DJ and was phenomenal. Sue worked with us consistently leading up to the wedding to help ensure it was everything that we wanted. Ed juggled a lot of different special dances including the Hora and a Texas Two step. We also had a live performer for our first dance and Ed worked with him to make sure he sounded his best. He let him use his equipment and coordinated with him so that everything went perfectly.

Our guests were on the dance floor all night long and many came up to us afterward and said it was one of the most fun weddings they had been to because of the music and energy. Thank you Ed and Denon & Doyle for making this a night to remember!

Amazing wedding DJ!

Denon & Doyle DJ'ed my wedding and they were phenomenal. Sue was excellent to work with as we were planning, and in the final lead up Ed was phenomenal to work with to plan our playlist and he was amazing day of. We loved working with them and would highly recommend them!

Helpful and Fun all the Way Through!

Denon and Doyle were fantastic from start to finish!

First we coordinated with Sue, we had a very nice chat about what the event would generally need I think a few months before the event. Then we were given access to an online form, where we could fill out details, song requests etc. This was very helpful because it reminded us to think about things in advance that we otherwise might not have even considered.
Then we had two more chats, one about 6 weeks before the wedding, and one just a couple weeks before to finalize everything. Sue was delightful to talk to, was very helpful! She sent a reminder when I forgot to get back to her on something, and checked in to get final answers on things that we were still “maybes” on. She didn’t make assumptions about what we wanted, and went the extra mile for us to make sure we had considered everything! She gave very good advice and was totally on board for the music we selected. She clearly had a ton of industry knowledge, and general knowledge about music genres etc.
We were planning to have the ceremony outside, and the reception inside, but with the forecast for the wedding day being 103 degrees, we decided to have the whole event indoors. Sue accommodated us without a problem and even gave us a refund for the extra sound system that would have needed to be set up outside.
Day of, our DJ, Chad, was fantastic! He and his assistant (sorry assistant, I don’t think I caught your name!) were wonderful, kind, attentive and great fun! When we first arrived Chad came and gave Sam the lapel mic for the ceremony, explained how everything would work and checked in. There was also a stand mic for people reading quotes. The one little hiccup was totally our fault! We didn’t account for how much shorter the walk to the front would be indoors, since we originally planned for that part to be outdoors, and we walked WAY too fast. So Chad was only able to play about 1.8 seconds of that song, but the fact that he got it to be that long was a testament to how quickly he swapped to our song from the regular processional! So cheers to you, Chad! We bungled that and you recovered perfectly.
The sound system was set up great, everyone could hear us, but it wasn’t too loud. The mics all consistently worked, just no problems whatsoever. Chad was responsive to requests (we asked to turn the volume for the party a little, and he did no problem!) and was definitely adept at reading the crowd. Everyone had a GREAT time!
Chad did a great job reading the room, and went above and beyond. I would absolutely choose Denon and Doyle for an event again, and I would certainly request Chad again as well!

We had Sue do our ceremony and David O’ do our reception. They did an incredible job and always made sure we knew what was happening next. It was so so helpful to have someone keeping us on our schedule all evening so we didn’t have to think about it! Everyone danced the entire time, there was never a time where the dance floor was empty!

Saving the Day!

We can't say enough good things about Paul Madden from Denon & Doyle. Before the wedding he set up a video conference with us so that he could talk to us about what kind of music we'd like played and what the schedule of the evening was going to be. During the reception he did a fantastic job with the music for our special dances (bride and father, etc.) and announcing when different events were happening (like cutting the cake). After dinner he kept the dance floor packed as he played great song after great song. He is a really nice guy and great to work with. Guests continue to tell us how wonderful our DJ was.

But most importantly, Paul stepped in and helped out at the ceremony, which we weren't expecting him to be involved with at all! Right as the ceremony was about to start we found out that the live musicians that we had hired weren't going to make it. In a panic we brought our ceremony playlist to Paul and he found all the songs, cued them up and played them at just the right time, including for the bride walking down the aisle and the two of us walking back up the aisle at the end. Paul truly saved the day!

Perfection!

Denon & Doyle (major shoutout to Sue and our wonderful DJ, John!!) were a dream to work with on our wedding. They are communicative, professional, and so obviously passionate and joyful for the work that they do! They stuck with us as our wedding date changed from May 2020 (sob!) to the even more spectacular October 16th, 2021 (yay!), and stayed in touch and flexible throughout the process. Sue worked on our planning form with us throughout and helped us collaborate on music choices. The result was absolute perfection! Working with Sue on the planning portion was such an organized and smooth process- her warmth and fun-loving attitude helped us look forward to our planning phone calls! John, our DJ, worked beautifully with our other vendors and kept the night going and on schedule so well! At the end of the evening he even came up to me to check if the bride was pleased, I emphatically told him YES, I was! It was just the most perfect day, from the music to the absolutely GORGEOUS amber uplighting indoors and market lighting outdoors- it truly enhanced our stunning venue (the Brazilian Room). The company expertly handles events, and knew our venue through and through! We could not be more pleased!

Fantastic experience

Denon & Doyle were the perfect choice as our DJ for our Napa wedding. We met with them on the phone and zoom calls multiple times planning our day. Susan Doyle did a marvelous job holding our hands through the entire process. Kevin Hartman was an exceptional DJ. He understood our sensibility and style and giving Kevin full reign he crafted the music and mood for us, better than we could have ever created it for ourselves. In addition, following our plan, he was an excellent master of ceremony. He made our evening fun with the addition of group dances and games. Our guests loved him. His personality and style were a perfect match for us. Denon & Doyle allowed us the create memories for a lifetime.

Ceremony Livestream

We originally had booked Denon and Doyle for lighting at our Reception. But then COVID happened and we had to pivot. Sue was extremely attentive, helpful, and flexible as we drew up a new wedding plan. We ended up using D&D for live streaming our ceremony. The day of tech was amazing, and I was so happy with the final result. Not only did the live stream go great, but family and friends who missed the ceremony could go back and watch. Would 100% recommend.

AMAZING! Highly recommend!

You always hear that a DJ can either make or break a wedding. Denon & Doyle gave us the best wedding reception experience we could have ever hoped for!
But first, let me just say that Sue Doyle is one of the sweetest, most genuine souls I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She genuinely cares about each couple that comes to Denon & Doyle and it showed through every email and phone conversation we had with her during the wedding planning process.
Abraham was our DJ and we were blown away. We sent a list of a few of our favorite songs that we wanted to hear through dinner and dancing but left a lot of it up to him to play songs that would get our guests on the dance floor.
Our wedding was a more intimate setting with about 60 guests and I don’t believe it’s an easy task to get (and keep!) a smaller group on a dance floor but he did it with ease!!! All night and for days after our wedding, my husband and I had people telling us how impressed they were with our DJ (and we were, too)!
If you want to ensure that your wedding will go down as one of the best your family and friends have ever attended, book with Denon & Doyle as your DJ! I promise you won’t regret it!

Wonderful!!

So happy we found them. Sue was instrumental in the planning process. Responsive and professional through and through. We had selected a DJ early on and had to switch last minute. Sue assured is that everything would be ok and it was! We had Mark as our DJ. We provided a lengthy list of must plays and he was very accommodating. Guests commented on how much they loved the music. They’re a must hire!

Open Style Photobooth - A+

We reached out to Denon & Doyle for their photo booth services as they came highly recommended from our wedding coordinator. We received a response from Sue within 24 hours and the whole process from there on out was easy and seamless. While Denon & Doyle was the only photo booth vendor we reached out to, upon research of several other providers, we realized Denon & Doyle had by far, the most variety and options at a very reasonable price. Not only did they offer different photo booth styles (open booth, a more traditional closed booth, in-motion, etc), but they also offered a a number of lighting options, backdrops (sequins, floral, streamers), and photo templates (strips vs 4x6). We decided to go for the open booth as we felt it would be the best fit for our reception space and vibe. From there, we worked with Megan on designing our template. She was very accommodating with incorporating our custom monogram, matching up the font type with the rest of our wedding stationary and paper goods, and playing around with various formats to settle on the design we liked best.

On the day of the wedding, the photo booth set up went smoothly. Our attendant was kind and professional with helping our guests with props and navigating the process. We were pleased that the booth printed high quality photos to take home and also gave guests an option to email and text the images to themselves for easy sharing. The booth got traffic all night long and was clearly a hit. A few days after the wedding, we received a full photo booth link where we could see all the photos taken over the course of the night. It was so much fun and such a nice treat for us and our guests.

Best experience working with Denon & Doyle

Booking Denon and Doyle as our DJ and uplighting vendor was such a great decision. They were a preferred vendor for our venue and they knew the best place to put the DJ, the best lighting for the venue, and made the entire so so easy. Sue Doyle was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire process and was a delight to work with. Based on our feedback on what we were wanting in a DJ, Sue paired us with Shea. He did a fantastic job and the dance floor was popping the entire night. Thank you Denon & Doyle for helping us have the most beautiful wedding and most epic dance party!

For a fun party call D&D

I hired Denon and Doyle for my wedding in San Francisco and was extremely happy with that decision. I had researched many DJs in the area and decided to go with Denon and Doyle for a few reasons:
1. Sue was amazing to work with and just made the whole contracting and discussion and planning process so easy.
2. If anything were to go wrong day of (ie DJ getting sick, stuck somewhere, equipment needed last minute) D&D has an army of people behind them that supports the company so you were not left high and dry on the most important and special day.
3. We wanted to someone that had amazing personality to be our DJ and could get all generations up on the dance floor and make it feel super personal. We met Tyrone briefly at the Open House and felt he would be a good fit. He knocked it out of the park on the day of our wedding. He took time with us onsite before we entered the party to practice and make sure we had our first dance nailed down which was extra sweet. The entire family and party loved him and danced the entire night away.

I would definitely hire them for other parties in our future.

Best Wedding DJ!

We hired Denon & Doyle for our wedding music and DJ performer and they were amazing to work with! Sue Doyle, the co owner was extremely helpful and responsive in all our pre-wedding preparations. We went with DJ Kevin Hartman and he was fantastic!! He was extremely friendly, brought allhis DJ equipment, set up the lapel mic for our officiant and hand held mic for our ceremony and he played all our favorite songs! DJ Kevin is very low key and respectful, making announcements tastefully and was always committed to our wedding coordinators schedule. My husband and I are definfintely “old souls” when it comes to music and DJ Kevin played all our favorites from Andrea Bocelli and Frank Sinatra to The Beatles and AC DC. Our dance floor was packed all night and nobody wanted the dancing to end. I highly recommend DJ Kevin for any wedding or party!

Book Denon and Doyle for your DJ needs and you will not be disappointed! There was never a moment throughout my whole planning process that I was ever worried about this vendor. Sue Doyle was incredibly responsive and communicative throughout the entire booking process and she is so sweet! We chose John Sanabria as our wedding DJ and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. He did a fantastic job getting everyone on the dance floor and balancing the types of music he played for all of our guests. We also had them bring in uplighting for the ballroom and it made the room look even more beautiful! Thank you Denon and Doyle for helping make our big day the most epic party ever!

DJ John is amazing!

It was awesome working with Denon & Doyle and with our DJ John! I appreciate working with professional vendors who are team players because it makes the event run that much more smoothly. Planning with Denon & Doyle was fun and simple, and our DJ was fantastic! Their online planning tool helps you figure out what you do and don't want to hear, and there are lots of recommendations. Our DJ played exactly what we asked for and stuck to the no-play list even when a few guests requested songs from it. He had people of all ages dancing, and he was an eloquent speaker and managed toasts and cake cutting. The colored up lights were a beautiful addition!

I have nothing but heaps of praise for Denon & Doyle's owners as well as our fantastic DJ, Chad! Every must-play was played, the first songs went off without a hitch, and I never heard my do-not-plays. Chad ran things smoothly and professionally at every turn. Our dance floor was an absolute BLAST from start to finish - I never left the dance floor it was too fun!!! And from every step, Sue and Brian went above and beyond to be incredibly helpful in addition to being professional, reliable, and otherwise great to work with.

Denon and Doyle provided our DJ, Tim, for our wedding in March 2018. They were very easy to work with ahead of the wedding and did an exceptional job the day of our wedding. Tim got a great feel for our tastes from the info we provided him ahead of time and did an amazing job mixing together our favorites, requests from the guests and some picks of his own. He kept our guests on the floor all night and some told me it was the hardest they'd ever danced. It made for our perfect wedding. We also used them for uplighting, which made our venue look incredible.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Susan Doyle and Brian Holmes set us up with Ronnie, our deejay for the night. He drove two hours out to our venue and still got there early. After setting up the reception hall for sound, he made the wedding ceremony flawless, including wiring up and mic-checking our officiant with plenty of time to spare. We appreciated his attention to detail, as well. He took the time to run through the playlist with me for the ceremony and his timing was just right.
During the reception, Ronnie was fun, engaging, and picked solid music that was completely in keeping with our desired music choices for the night. Our guests raved about the deejay, which I don’t think happens very often. He very expertly made our reception what we hoped it would be: a fun dance party for our families and friends.
We organized the wedding ourselves and Susan Doyle made that a very easy experience. Clear, communicative, quick to respond. Hire this company; you will not be sorry.

DJ Chad is incredible, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. We first heard of Denon & Doyle because Chad was the DJ for our friends' wedding during summer 2016, and we had so much fun on the dance floor that despite the fact that my feet were killing me, we stayed dancing until the night was over! After that, we knew we wanted to have Chad as DJ for our wedding as well, and we are so happy that we did. Our wedding was in early September, in San Anselmo, CA, and the reception was outdoors. The day of the wedding, it turned out the Bay Area had a massive heat wave - it was around 110 degrees during the day, and we're guessing even after the sun went down it was still in the 90's. Everyone was melting. And yet, people still filled the dance floor all night long, and we had a fantastic time dancing the night away as we melted, thanks to the incredible song selections that Chad made! We mostly left all of the song choices to him, and it was wonderful how he played the perfect songs to keep all of the age groups at the wedding happy and dancing. We are so grateful for everything he did to help make sure despite the crazy heat, we and our guests had an awesome time!

We are very thankful for the services we received from Denon & Doyle! In the months leading up to tour big day, we communicated with Sue Doyle via email. She is extremely nice and answered all of our questions in detail in a very timely matter. In addition, we had two positive factors that helped make our wedding day so special: 1. Their online wedding planner and 2. our DJ was Chris - a Disney music specialist - who added Disney magic to our Disney themed wedding. Chris stuck to basically everything on our wedding planner and playlist. He had all of the songs we requested for our ceremony, played all of the songs we listed for cocktail hour, and continued to play our specific selections during the reception all the way to closing. We requested if we could have the closing announcement they play when Disneyland closes for the night - Chris retrieved the audio and played it to end our reception! Throughout the night, Chris checked in with us, set up our slideshow, and gave timely announcements to help the night transition from event to event. We greatly appreciate Sue and DJ Chris from Denon & Doyle!

We were so pleased after using Denon and Doyle for our wedding. Sue and Brian were super friendly and helpful during the planning stages; Sue responded very quickly to any and all emailed questions, and Brian was very personable on the phone and put my mind at ease about how the day was going to go.

We didn't pick a specific DJ ahead of time and didn't provide much of a song list for him (just some general ideas), but we were so happy we ended up with Kevin. He was super friendly, and he made sure to include all of the song requests we did make. He read the vibe of the room really well, and his song choices were great as a result. He kept everyone dancing pretty much the entire night. The energy was incredibly fun and he knew just when to shift song speeds/styles to keep everyone in the right mood.

We'd thoroughly recommend Denon and Doyle as a company, and Kevin in particular. If we had to do it over again, we wouldn't change a thing!

From beginning to end, everyone at Denon & Doyle helped us tremendously. From their easy to use online planner, to their personal service, Monica and I felt we were in good hands with Denon & Doyle. They were very familiar with our venue and vice versa which made the planning seamless. We hatched out a plan and even though things didn't always stay on schedule, our DJ was flexible and able to keep our party going. The only thing was we wished the party didn't end.

I could not say enough positive things about Denon & Doyle especially Sue and Abe! Sue was a pleasure to work with from the get go. She's extremely professional and helped answered all of my questions and concerns when it came to lighting, music, prices, packages, etc. When searching for a DJ for my wedding, I really wanted an Armenian DJ because of my husband's ethnicity; we wanted someone bilingual or just a bit of knowledge with the Armenian culture. To my surprise, Denon & Doyle had 2 Armenian DJs!

We got lucky with Abe. Abe is amazing! From our first conversation with Abe to the end of the wedding- he exceeded our expectations. He helped the night flow so smoothly we did not want it to stop!
1. Abe was constantly checking in on my husband and I- making sure we were having a good time, even making sure we were well fed and had plenty of drinks on hand. He did more than we could have asked for from a DJ/MC.

2. Our special mother's dance. My husband and I did a special mother's/daughter/son dance with our moms. My mother is not in the best health and she is also very shy; for her to dance in front of a crowd was extremely nerve wrecking and took a bit of convincing. When it came time for the dance, I had to tell Abe we might not be able to do it because mom was not feeling well that night. He came up with a game plan and it was perfectly executed. He had the guest crowd around the big dance floor for a more intimate space; He cut the dance into 1 minute (perfect for my mom) and then had all of the couples in the room join in for the latter half of the song. It all just flowed so well. I got to dance with my mom for the short period and our guest go to relive a little bit of high school slow dancing ;) I will forever cherish this moment!

Mark Haggerty is the best! He had so many wonderful reviews so I knew he was going to be good, but he was awesome! Our guests were on the dance floor from the first song to the very last... and we got so many compliments on how great he was. Highly reccomend!

Mark at Denon and Doyle DJ'd our recent wedding (and did the lights) and he did a great job. We had provided him with a lot of guidance on song selection, but he was largely responsible for keeping the dance floor lively all night, across all generations of our guests, and helping us stay on schedule for the evening. Many awesome memories were made on that dance floor that night. So, Mark, thanks for that. Mark was also happy to speak with my husband in the days leading up to the wedding to make sure that he fully understood what we were looking for.

Sue was also fabulous to work with. I actually want to apologize to her for being so unresponsive during the months leading up to the wedding. She tirelessly followed up with us until the event was planned, and she was so so nice, even though we sometimes ignored her emails for weeks. I'm actually still a little embarrassed about it. So my apologies, Sue, but we will be singing your and Mark's praises for many months to come!

Denon and Doyle was recommended to me by a friend that used them for her children's Bar and Bat Mizvahs. When I looked into the company I found out they have monthly meet and greets just for potential wedding customers. They did a presentation for the DJ aspect of the business, but they also do photo booths and lighting. You can also meet some of the DJs to find one with a personality that matches your's. It was really well done.

We ended up going with Ed and he was amazing. They played all the music we asked for and kept the fun dance party atmosphere we were going for. They were very professional and had some great online tools to help us communicate the timeline and songs we wanted at different parts of the night. Ed was awesome and Denon and Doyle was so professional. I highly recommend them!

We used Denon & Doyle DJ Company for our April 4th, 2015 wedding at Maple Lawn at the San Rafael Elks Lodge. They were so easy and professional to work with! Mark, our DJ was fabulous!!! We provided a brief outline of our "must plays" and "do not plays" and Mark kept the perfect vibe flowing all night! Every single guest had fun and that's saying something since we had 142. Mark accepted requests which kept our friends happy and played fun songs that were appropriate for all ages. As the stars came out, so did the amazing surprise... glow sticks! They not only made for a great time but also some great photos. Thank you Denon & Doyle and Mark for making our wedding the best party of our lives so far!

Ed Combong was our DJ, and I think we have found the DJ for all of our events for the rest of our lives! He was VERY nice, VERY accommodating, and we loved his style! Denon & Doyle did an amazing job on our wedding! DJ Mark Haggerty did a great job! He made sure he played everything on our must-play-list and i think he played people's requests as well. He got people on the dance floor! When we completed the online form for the wedding timeline, he called us a week before the wedding to make sure he had everything correct. The only glitch was that we updated the form online about a day before he called to cancel the dollar dance (partially our fault). When he called, he got that down. But he announced it at the reception. But, it wasn't a big deal. We were having too much of a good time! Lol.

We had our DJ for 6 hours (ceremony & reception) and 10 uplights (but our DJ hooked us up with 2 more). DJ Mark Haggerty even offered to get us drinks during dinner. He also gave us a CD with all the songs from our wedding ceremony & some from reception. Very sweet!

Sue Doyle was the first person that contacted us when we inquired about pricing. She is very responsive and would work with your budget the best way she could.

We were so over the moon happy with choosing Denon & Doyle for our DJ and Photo Booth services! From our initial meeting with Addington...to figuring out what we needed for our Photo Booth...to our absolutely terrific, completely amazing DJ Mark Haggerty! Mark was very familiar with our reception venue and that made us feel very comfortable as he knew the staff and the space well and was incredibly accommodating. Cheyenne and Anthony were there to assist with set up of everything and the Photo Booth and were wonderful! My husband and I recently used Denon and Doyle services for our wedding in Santa Rosa. They provided DJ support for both the ceremony and reception and we also went with them for a photobooth. Our entire experience was great! Every step of the way, the entire staff really made us feel at ease and happy with our decision. People aren't joking when they say a DJ can really make or break a wedding! We were looking for a fun, upbeat dance party! We met with Ed Combong during one of the open house events and he was just what we were looking for. He was polite, followed our suggestions (while also playing to the crowd), helped the flow of the entire day run smoothly, and even made an extra effort to check in on us throughout the event to make sure we had what we were needing. We would definitely recommend Ed! Our photobooth attendant (and pictures) were also great! People had a great time dressing up, popping in and having a souvenir to take with them. Overall, we would definitely recommend Denon and Doyle (and Ed!)!

Great service!!

We had Denon & Doyle for our wedding on March 2014, for the DJ and lighting. They were great! I was in contact with Sue, who was very responsive to my emails, then my husband and I came to their showcase where we can meet up with all the DJs, see all their lighting and photo booth options. The showcase really helped us to make our decisions.

Two weeks before the wedding we met up with Brian and Ed. They were very nice to work with! Ed showed us the color options for the lighting and make sure we got the best color to build the atmosphere at the wedding. As for the song list, we didn't have specific songs in minds for the dinner and dance, but we told them what kind of music that we like and don't like. It turned out really great! We glad we chose Ed to be our DJ. We wanted someone who is fun, can keep the vibe alive without being too crazy or too loud. Ed was the one!!

So yes, highly recommended!

We are very happy with our choice to go with Denon & Doyle, specifically Ed Combong, as the DJ for our wedding reception. I was not interested in a DJ who would be on the dance floor or the center of attention. We also had no interest in the stereotypical "wedding" songs. There would be no duck dancing at our wedding. Ed exceeded all of our expectations. He was polite and interacted with guests exactly in the manner that we wanted (conversational but also stayed "behind the scenes"). He understood that we live in Nashville so we wanted to incorporate some country music but didn't want line dancing or western music. Ed ran any of the requested songs past us before playing them, especially if he didn't think they were in line with our requested songs. I'm actually a little disappointed that I didn't get to speak with him more as he seemed like such a great guy. We would highly recommend Ed for your wedding reception, especially if you are planning it long-distance and can't meet him in person first. We were very happy with our choice and Ed created the perfect atmosphere for our reception.

Mark H. was awesome! He was so on point and understood how we wanted the night and music to flow. We wanted everyone to dance, but we had a lot of couples so we wanted to throw in some slow songs. He totally achieved this. Just when everyone was at their max/sweaty from dancing. He read this and threw in a slow song or two and it flowed really well! We hired James Pretti of Denon & Doyle to DJ our wedding, and he did a great job. We chose him because he had a laid back vibe and he seemed to get the feel we wanted for our reception. James did a GREAT job. He helped my brother (who played keyboard for our ceremony) set up the sound system and get everything working for the ceremony. Then for our reception, I loved every song he played, so I stayed on the dance floor the whole night and I had a BLAST. Everyone liked the music from our twenty-something friends to our sixty-something parents and cousins. James even resisted my friends' attempts to bribe him into playing music from my "do not play" list. I would hire him again in a heartbeat!

Brian was kind enough to edit our first dance music, and Abe and Addington also helped coordinate a the details as well. When the audio for our slideshow didn't seem to work, Ed and his team worked to solve the issue right away and didn't make us worried at all! We had such a wonderful experience with D&D, from beginning to end. To start, the showcase that they offer is great. We used a lot of ideas from that on our big day! Then, the owners were so accommodating and extended us the 24 light package for the price of the 10 light package because of our off season wedding date.

As for Chris Mowery. He's the best. We didn't get the chance to talk to him at the showcase so we booked him on his reviews alone. And boy were they right! Not only was he very approachable, responsive, helpful and reliable, but he was so thoughtful on the day of the wedding. I felt like he was my maid of honor! He held our drinks while we took photos, he filled up our glasses, he walked us thru the whole cake cutting and constantly checked to see if we were OK. He even wore a shirt and tie in our wedding colors!!! That's taking it to a whole new level.

And I haven't even gotten to the music part!!! Our wedding was one epic dance party. Thanks very much to Chris. He started with hits from the 60's to include the older crowd and by the time he started playing the top 40 they were hooked and never left the floor.

All in all, I would recommend Chris to any one for any event, but especially to any couple getting married. He not only made me and Bobby so comfortable and calm, but all of our bridal party and our parents. That's big.

D&D had a huge impact on our big day and we'll always be grateful for their service and professionalism.

Denon & Doyle is a fabulous company! They do offer DJ services, however, we used a family friend for that. We did use Denon & Doyle for their photobooth, uplighting, and screen rental, and I am so glad that we did! The photobooth was a hit and fit in perfectly with our movie theme wedding. The uplighting added that additional touch of color, and the screen rental worked out perfectly (and was much less expensive than renting it from our venue). Denon & Doyle's pricing is very affordable and very flexible. They want their customers to be happy, so they work with their budgets as much as possible. EJ, the photobooth attendant, fit in perfectly with our wedding and was great with all of our guests. He also checked in with my husband and I right before it was time for him to start taking the photobooth down to see if he and I wanted to take anymore photos. I would recommend them to anyone!

The photo booth was a huge hit at our wedding this weekend. Every time I looked over someone new was jumping in to take a quick pic that will last a lifetime! We had our guests put their photo strips into our guest book along with their loving words. It is definitely something we will take out at look at often.

Mark DJ-ed our wedding and we couldn't be happier. He planned out our music out perfectly:

-- Classical for the ceremony
-- Jazz for the cocktail hour
-- Big Band for the first couple of songs on the dance floor.
-- Followed by Motown, Funk, '70s, ''80s. '90s, Today as we danced the night away!

Mark got everyone out on the dance floor. Everyone. He played lots of classics for the elderly folks early in the evening, and his transition into more modern songs late into the night kept the party going and going. A number of our guests even asked for his playlist for their own future parties / weddings!

He kept the whole evening running smoothly and on time, from the toasts to Hava Nagila.

And the best part: He helped my dad with a special father-daughter dance surprise! I had absolutely no idea and they pulled it off with incredible fanfare.

Denon & Doyle were absolutely fantastic to work with. From beginning to the showroom, from the middle, to the very end. They made my wedding everything I wanted and more. The one thing everyone kept talking about days after was how much fun and what great music that he played. We had Chris, the best DJ ever, and he made me night worry free and was super thoughtful the whole time. We had a very small intimate wedding with only 48 people and it was like he was part of the family and even got good with the boss, Auntie Sue. haha I remember I asked him if he thought the night was successful, this was his response, "Well, you requested another hour, you broke the dance floor, and the cops showed up... They were able to provide everything that I wanted. This includes music, lighting, GOBO, and DJ. They were on time, very professional, and made my wedding the party that I wanted it to be. Mark and Jason did a great job in interacting with our guests and even threw in a few games to give away the center pieces.

Chris their graphic design artist contacted me way in advanced to make sure the photo booth print outs and GOBO were exactly what I wanted them to be. The Monday immediately following my wedding, the manager contacted me to make sure that everything went well. I don't even know where to start! From the very beginning (almost two years before my wedding, because I am crazy), I knew Denon & Doyle was going to be amazing. I first had my inquiries answered by Sue who was always very timely, sweet and informative.

I then started corresponding with the DJ I was interested in himself, Mr. Mark Haggerty. He was so amazing. As a small yet important sidenote: I was initially interested in using Denon & Doyle for lighting services in addition to DJ services and Mark went above and beyond to give me photos and videos of lighting they had done at my venue. Top notch service. (We ended up going through someone else for lighting but that had absolutely nothing to do with Denon & Doyle's work or their pricing--both of which looked fantastic! )

Now, as far as the actual event itself...Mark really exceeded all of my expectations. He called me a couple of days before the wedding and put my (crazed) mind at ease. He really made me feel like everything was going to run smoothly and boy was he right!

On the day of the wedding, he introduced everyone perfectly, played all the music we asked to be played and best of all: KEPT THE PARTY GOING! Seriously, I'm pretty sure every single one of our wedding guests (all 175 of them) were on the dance floor at one point or another (if not all night).

I can't say enough amazing things about Mark Haggerty and Denon & Doyle--I was blown away. You will not regret booking with them. DO IT!

Binky was our DJ and he was awesome!!! A good friend recommended this company for our weddin and I do the same for any brides in the bay area and Sacramento areas. They take all the hassle out of planning music for your reception. You simply fill out a questionaire and they do the rest. Our dance floor was packed all night long and our DJ even joined us for the Cupid shuffle!

Denon & Doyle were so flexible. We are incredibly picky about music, and didn't want the standard run of the mill wedding music, nor many elements of a wedding reception that we find tacky and overdone. Abe made everything run smoothly, scrapped the rules about song selection, and threw in sweet extras. It was a great party that ran without a glitch or a worry on our part. We are very satisfied.

Kevin was fantastic!

Denon & Doyle provided our Wedding Ceremony music, our Cocktail hour music, Dinner hour music, and of course our Reception music - DANCE PARTY!!!

We got so many positive comments from guests of all ages, who loved the music at all of the various points of the wedding. Everything was digital and super prepared. They made sure to have all of the exact versions of the specific songs that we wanted to use. Kevin had some great suggestions for getting our guests up and out of their seats and also for various songs to use at different points. We could have danced all night!!! It was a blast and a lot of that was because of the great music.

Thanks so much Kevin & Denon & Doyle. If we ever need a DJ again, we know who to call!

Amazing, Fun, Extrodianary, Really went ABOVE AND FAR FAR BEYOND our expectations. We had a beautiful setting, the palace of fine arts on a beautiful day. After our sunny ceremony we sat down for our dinner under the windy rotunda. Everything was great and then the wind really kicked up and a few things blew over and our guests were freezing. While we are trying to rush the dances, cake cutting, etc... Solomon, our FABULOUS dj, talked to the Exploratorium and was able to convience them to let us use their lobby for dancing. Needless to say he kinda saved the night. Not only did he get us to an indoor venue but he also really, really, encouraged our crowd to get out there and dance and have FUN. Solomon was great.
We also have friends who used Denon and Doyle about two months ago for their wedding and their dj was cleaning leaves from the pool before their wedding, without being asked. These guys go WAY, WAY beyond your expectations. They play exactly what you want and they are so nice and fun.

Great company. Very thorough assessment of what we wanted. We submitted a "play" and "do not play" list, both of which our DJ, Abe, followed. Cocktail hour was a little cheezy, but honestly I think my (now) husband probably picked most of those songs, some of which were meant to be funny, some not. When things weren't getting as lively as we hoped, my husband just went over to the DJ, asked him to play some "butt shaking music" and Abe played a lot of club hits that people loved. Everyone had a great time, and Abe was very helpful with the schedule of the night and also diffusing any attempts by relatives to make unplanned speeches :). Very diplomatic!

If you want a great reception, think about hiring a photobooth!! Besides my DJ, the photobooth (and the attendant) were a big hit.

I researched a few photobooth vendors and felt D&D were the right choice at the right price for me. They have a solid reputation. Offer excellent machines including vintage models. Stay away from all those amateurish digital camera/printer setups with the pvc pipe rigging and curtain enclosures.

We opted for the APM which is a stand alone open booth. My guests loved it! Even the more conservative, reserved guests got more than a few poses in. Tom the attendant was great! He loved helping people, but especially loved helping the kids. He was a good looking guy which helped break the ice for more than a few of my single female guests to get a little crazy and have some fun!

The cost was just right for us and the size of the booth for our venue perfect. I would have loved to have been able to get the full size booth but thought that getting more people in an open area was better and I was right!

For much less than $1000.00 my guests had a great time and a momento of that evening! You should see the scrap book pages people made for us, instead of signing a boring ol' guest book!

D&D was great with communication and delivered everything they promised. Every step of the process was so easy and smooth. I handled all the paperwork with Sue Doyle and she was excellent to work with. When the time came, she had a great graphic designer work with us on our stip layout design. And she even came through on a unique font I wanted to use! Tom was there with the booth on-time and we had no problems with the equipment the entire night. The quality of the photo strips was excellent, plus getting a DVD AND an online gallery is more than what I expected. Now everyone can see themselves and get an extra copy of their photos!

I would definitely hire them again for other events. Holidays are just around the corner....

Thank you so much for all you did to make our wedding so special! Denon & Doyle was the first vendor we found as we planned our wedding! I still remember attending the evening mixer and realizing that we’d found the right DJ/MC!

From the beginning, we appreciated the professionalism and helpfulness of the team at Denon & Doyle. Most notably, we appreciated the help and enthusiasm of Chris. The DJ/MC of a wedding is an integral part of the celebration. Two weeks before our wedding, we attended a wedding as guests and found that Chris was the DJ! It was a great chance to see his style and we knew we were in good hands!

When it was our turn to plan, he was flexible with his schedule and spent a lot of time with my family working out our timeline and making helpful suggestions. The games were a complete success and made our wedding so unique! During our reception Chris helped make us feel comfortable and our bridal party enjoyed his enthusiasm. We created a full timeline with several song requests and Chris helped to capture the best of them. The Italian traditions that we wanted to incorporate were welcomed and Chris helped to incorporate them in an elegant and fun way.

My husband and I hired Kevin Hartman from Denon and Doyle to DJ our wedding in July and we are so happy that we did. Everyone at Denon and Doyle is very professional and they definitely know what they are doing. We had a few phone calls with Kevin before the wedding, and he really spent time to understand what we wanted. He was great at giving us suggestions on songs and helping us with timeline questions, and we knew we were in good hands.

One the day of the wedding, he did a great job of keeping the night flowing, following the timeline we came up with and keeping everything fun. He kept our guests (including us) dancing all night. We had so much fun at the wedding and it turned out exactly has we wanted, a big, fun party!

We also went to one of Denon and Doyle’s regular DJ showcases before the wedding where they walk you through a whole wedding and give suggestions on how the timeline should go, various songs you can use, etc. The DJ showcase very helpful, and we lucked out that Kevin was the DJ for that event, so we got to see him in action before the wedding.

We found their prices to be very reasonable also.

I’m really glad that we chose to work with Denon and Doyle, and Kevin. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a DJ.

We chose Denon & Doyle because of a specific DJ. Sean was the DJ at a friend's wedding and we loved his professionalism, his flexibility, his song choices, and the way he didn't draw any attention to himself. He was just as great at our wedding! D&D is an awesome and fun company! We are so glad that we chose to book their walk-up photobooth for our wedding. At the time, it was a new machine, but we knew we needed a booth that can take pictures of a bunch of people at time. Our guests had so much fun using it and this includes guests of all ages! It was so simple to use that a bunch of the little kids used it too! Even my 4-year old nephew had pics taken! We loved the ease of the booth since guests just had to select a color, pose then wait 5 seconds for it to print. We used the pictures for the guestbook and loved viewing the pages the day after the wedding. So many people have asked for their information for their events too. If you want to add a fun element to your wedding book the walk-up photobooth, you won't regret it!

I highly recommend Kevin Hartman. He did a fabulous job DJ'ing my wedding.

Kevin did the music for my wedding ceremony and reception. I honestly did not worry about the music all evening. I have a large Indian family that loves to dance. Our DJ Chris was on the ball every step of the reception. He even checked in with us to make sure we had something to drink, eat, and were enjoying the reception. He kept everything on schedule and even added some special touches to the evening that were a wonderful and fun surprise. From the Showcase and on Denon and Doyle were great. Very professional. Brian Holmes was our DJ and did an awesome job. The dance floor was full and he played all the songs requested. We LOVED DJ Donald from D&D. He literally rocked the house. We gave him a pretty detailed list of music we wanted to hear, and he followed instructions well! I'm sure if we didn't give him a list of songs he would have been great also. I think he danced behind his DJ booth as much as the rest of us did! His energy was super high and contagious - all the guests loved him. Working with D&D during the planning process couldn't have been easier. I loved being able to fill out all the info online too - it helped me stay organized. Go with Donald if you need a badass DJ for your wedding!

This group was great to work with. They were very responsive whenever we had questions. They also periodically hold showcases for couples that are great for giving ideas on things like games and other activities that are fun for the guests but are classy and not at all cheesy. In addition, you get a chance to meet some of the DJs so that you can determine if there is a personality fit.

During the ceremony the DJ (Paul Jackson) faded into the background unless there were announcements that needed to be made. He really kept people on the dance floor and our guests had a fabulous time. So much so that they didn't want to stop dancing. He humored us and our guests and played two extra songs including one from my husband's iPhone.

I can't say enough good things about this group. If I ever need a DJ again for anything I'm going straight back to this company. They were fantastic. I found that it was rare to find really professional companies in the whole wedding process but this was one of the best that I dealt with.

One of the best parts of our wedding was the DJ! Gracie from Denon & Doyle was very professional yet her energy really got the crowd going. She was able to handle all of the requests and still keep the flow going. Not to mention the Armenian side of the family requested a few Armenian songs that were really long and she still didn't skip a beat. Fabulous service from a fabulous company! Highly recommended!

These guys were great. You can go to their offices occasionally to hear all of their DJs. The ones we wanted weren't available, but we got Solomon and we loved him. He knew just how much to talk, how to get everyone up and dancing. We had a Jewish wedding and he did a good job with the Horah and some traditional stuff. Great music without being too cheesy. Perfect!

We chose DJ Mark Haggerty, of Denon & Doyle, and he was spectacular! He was extremely professional and very courteous to the guests! We didn't have any alcohol at our wedding reception and he kept the dance floor absolutely packed the entire time! He played a great array of music that guests of all ages enjoyed. Denon & Doyle has got to be the most professional and organized DJ operation out there. We were so impressed by their showcase and website, that we didnt waste too much time searching for a DJ. Theyre also reasonably priced. We knew theyd be perfect and they didnt disappoint. Theyre so organized and have a wonderful online wedding planner. Our DJ was Mark Haggerty and he was perfect. He edited songs for us, set up and brokedown our video presentation, and played exactly what we asked for. D & D is very respectful to provide the entertainment that you want. They provide you with every opportunity to tell them what you want and then execute that vision. I only wish wed had more time for dancing!

They are great - EVERYONE that attended my wedding was up and dancing. Just let them pick the songs, they are experts and know what they are doing. It's not too loud or too quiet, volume level is always just right. And they really know how to keep the party going! Everyone said they had a blast at my wedding and I think D&D had a lot to do with it! If you're curious about them, call them and ask about their open houses. Denon & Doyle DJ was phenominal - our DJs name was Chris Mowery and he was fantastic. On time, organized, great energy, professional, wasn't trying to be the center of the show but played all the music we wanted and got the crowd energized. We had people telling us for weeks after how great the DJ was! We had technical problems with our slide show and he cared enough to work to figure it out - and the slide show ended up going off without a hitch. I'm not that into crowd dances or games, so was relieved not to have any of the cheezy YMCA, Shout or Electric Slide incorporated into anything - however, he did end up doing a really cute game with shoes (ask them about it!) and it was great - everyone loved it and even I loved it, which I didn't think I would. Anyway - highly recommend this company!

My husband and I have nothing but compliments for our DJ Kevin!! He did such a great job, he listened to our wants and needs for the type of reception and ceremony we wanted to have. Everyone commented on the great selection of music and wanted to know who the DJ company was. We have nothing but high regard for Denon & Doyle. From the first phone call to the week even day before the wedding they held our hands and were the easiest vendor to work with hands-down. If we could get married again we would use them again and for that fact any other event we would ever need them for. Thank you for making our special day absolutely spectacular and unforgettable!!

Great vendor - as professional as it gets. The sales process was easy and they provided exactly what we asked for. We attended a showcase of the various items they can provide, which ended up being pretty helpful. All but one of the people we interacted with seemed to have a vested interest in making our wedding a success (there was one individual that just seemed like he wanted to get off of the phone and rushed through everything.) They weren't too pushy when it came to adding options, but offered good advice and ideas. DJ Tyrone is the best around (he's the only reason I booked D&D in the first place.) You'll spend a bit more with these guys, but for a wedding it's worth not having to stress about whether they'll show up or not.
