I can't say enough good things....
Heather is a true professional, extremely organized, advocates for the bride and groom for what you want on your wedding making sure it's you're special day. I had multiple people from the wedding party come up and say how fantastic she is. Everything from wedding timeline, details etc is run like a tight ship so there is zero stress. I cannot imagine not working with Heather and Defining Moments during our wedding planning process. She made the entire process smooth and seamless to the "nth" degree! Every detail was thought of and every question was answered (in advance of us asking). She has strong relationships with ALL of our vendors, which made everything that much easier. Our wedding weekend was everything we dreamed of and MORE. I truly cannot express how grateful we are for Heather's hard work to make sure that we were able to enjoy all of our wedding events and not worry about the details or execution. Meredith & Matthew's PERFECT Wedding

From our first introductory conversation with Heather we felt assured our wedding would be fabulous! Heather is beyond thoughtful, professional, kind, and responsive, and she helped us through every step of the process. Despite not being local (live in NYC and planning a wedding in FL), the entire process felt seamless and everything was executed with perfection. Heather also provided wonderful insights and recommendations that perfectly complemented our own ideas for venue design/decor, food, beverages, etc. She’s extremely timely regarding when decisions that needed to be made, when vendors needed to be paid, and she even sent us a schedule with reminders. We could not be more grateful for Heather’s help in going above and beyond to make our wedding day flawless and truly the happiest, most special and fun day of our lives! Defining Moments was awesome to work with for my daughter’s destination wedding. Heather’s attention to detail throughout the entire process was exceptional; including reminders about payments and milestone emails regarding every detail over the course of a year. The planning that went into the agendas for hair and makeup, rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, wedding day events, reception and send off were timed and executed with great perfection. Heather’s experience and very special talent to execute such an important event in so many lives with such perfection is commendable.

Can Heather PLEASE come run my entire life?!

I assure you our day would not have been as seamless and easy as it was without Heather and the team at Defining Moments!

From our very first call, Heather was able to tell us what time the sun would be setting on our wedding day (well over a year out!) so that we could start locking in times for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. She was incredibly mindful of our budget and made thoughtful recommendations on which vendors to use based on budget, past experience and quality of service.

If anything went wrong the day of the wedding, we had no idea--which is exactly how it should be--and I am sure this is largely in part to Heather's organization, professionalism and attention to detail. She truly thinks of everything--like groomsmen wearing sunglasses while ushering but not during the ceremony, reminding everyone to not chew gum and bringing individual copies of the run of show to the rehearsal, with each bridesmaid's hair and make-up time highlighted on their copy.

I could go on and on about Heather and her team, but just know you will not regret choosing Defining Moments to coordinate your wedding day!

Awesome is an understatement!

Heather was incredible. She made the overwhelming experience of planning a wedding manageable for me and my fiancé (we were out of the country for more than half of planning time leading up to the wedding and she was able to handle all of this). Heather truly cares and goes out of her way to handle everything, big and small, and leaves no detail unnoticed. We had one or two unplanned contingencies come up during the wedding itself and she was able to martial everyone in stride and handled them flawlessly. We just wish she planned parties too, not just weddings - we would use her every time!!!

If you want a fabulous wedding, Heather should be involved! She is one in a million!!! Heather is not just an awesome person to work with, she also knows how to navigate all the ins and outs of wedding planning!! She made our wedding dreams come to fruition. Heather set up pre-calls with us, and our vendors and walked us through all the details leading up to the wedding. She created detailed timelines and laid out the flow of events which was extremely helpful to the groom, myself and the entire wedding party! She is very responsive, great to work with, and I can not recommend her enough!

Heather is Awesome!

We hired Heather about 6 weeks prior to our wedding to plan and coordinate our intimate wedding in early September. From the day we hired Defining Moments, Heather was awesome! She is very attentive and responds quickly. Heather had several contacts and suggested great vendors! She coordinated everything from the marriage license, wedding schedule, payment with the vendors and use of the beach. We highly recommend Heather and Defining Moments! You will not find anyone better!

Cannot recommend Heather enough: hire her.

We can't say enough good things about Heather and the team at Defining Moments. She took care of everything (including things she certainly didn't need to) to make sure our planning experience was seamless, enjoyable and stress-free. I am a perfectionist, extremely detail oriented, and usually beat people to an email or thought.... Heather is the only person I've ever met that beat me every single time! She was realistic and truthful if she thought someone would be out of budget for us, has so much experience to understand what's really going to matter not only to you but your guests at the end of the day, and provided recommendations for work arounds for things I would have never thought of. In short, HIRE HER. It will be the best decision of your wedding (other than saying I Do) thank you make!

Perfection

Heather was the first wedding planner that answered her phone when I was looking for one and that set the tone of how Heather works. She made herself available and was very easy to correspond with long distance!
Even though we had a smaller wedding, it was a double wedding!
The ceremony went perfectly with Heather running the show. She told the little boys to put their hands in their pockets and they looked so sharp walking down the pathway of Cerelean Park.
She kept my sister and I both calm and relaxed before we each walked down .
Hiring Heather was the best decision that we made! I am now a firm believer in in this event planner!!!

I was impressed with Heather from the first moment I met her-- We are from Chicago and our expectations were 'off' on our location & budget for our wedding. Heather and her team are nothing short of AMAZING. From start to finish, no detail was left unattended to, she provided options that fit our vision, in our budget, and executed our event flawlessly! Wedding of my dreams!

If you're looking for a wedding planner in the 30A area, look no further! Someone said they went to the most beautiful wedding in Seaside several years ago, and Heather Archdeacon-Williams was the wedding planner - so I reached out! Heather was giving me advice and helping me out before I even signed a contract with her! I was planning our wedding from Nashville, but never had to worry about a thing because I knew Heather would handle it. She took care of every little detail. She's super organized and reliable. I could never give Heather all the praise she deserves. If I could give her a ten star review I would! My daughters wedding turned out exactly as we planned. Heather was there for every decision and she is a wealth of information (no question she cannot answer related to a wedding). She delivered above and beyond and we made a friend in her along the way. Heather is the best! She thought of and planned for every detail of our wedding. She is so personable and she responded so quickly to every question I had! Heather was awesome! I used her for a 60 day Wrap up and day of wedding coordinator and she literally saved my life! She caught mistakes some of my vendors had made that I did not catch, she stayed on top of all of my payments, helped to make sure I had everything I needed and kept my life and my crazy bridal party in order on the big day! From the very first phone call with Heather I knew she would make my wedding a day that I would never forget. She was focused on my priorities and was always available for my lengthy and sometimes repetitive questions. Heather always made me feel comfortable and like I was her number one priority. I’m having trouble finding the words to adequately describe what an amazing planner Heather was. From the beginning, she was 100% clear on communication, and continued to be even up to days after our wedding. Her organizational skills are UNBELIEVABLE! She was so precise in her planning, timelines, reminders, in everything which was such a relief for me, the Bride. I highly valued the fact that she was SO patient with me, from the beginning to the end. I had a vision that was what I would classify as a Pinterest dream of a wedding and she was able to make it all come to fruition, I was blown away! Being from Indiana, I was hesitant about planning my wedding such a distance away however Heather eased all my concerns and reduced my stress! Heather and Kenya went above in beyond in our entire planning process and especially on the day of our wedding. To be honest, I felt a little sad having to say goodbye as we were sent off after our reception – so we left them with an open invitation to visit Indiana. :) I’d highly recommend Defining Moments Wedding & Events. To put it simply, Heather is the BEST! She coordinated my wedding at the Seaside Interfaith Chapel and Ruskin Place Park in Seaside. In the 8 months leading up to my wedding I had long periods of work travel, and a major family health crisis to contend with. Heather stepped up and handled everything beautifully. She doesn't push her opinion on you, but is helpfully candid when you ask her to be. Every vendor she recommended was excellent, and at every turn she went above and beyond. They can't get the tents up when you go into your rain backup plan because the trees are overgrown? Heather handles it. You see they are painting the pavilion where you are planning to do pictures the day before your wedding? Heather handles it. The day of, I didn't have to worry about a single thing, because I knew Heather had it covered. My husband and I have spent the last week constantly turning to each other to talk about how perfect our wedding was, and how we wouldn't change a single thing. I consider Heather to be the most organized, professional and calm person I have ever worked with. If you are planning on getting married anywhere on 30A, hire Heather!

If it was possible for me to rate higher than 5 I would. Heather was a godsend. I am very type A and on my wedding day it was really important for me to stay in the moment and Heather not only made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be but also got me to focus on the moment instead of the timeline.

Our wedding the entire weekend managed to stay on track, with no major issues, and no drama. Every vendor did an amazing job, showed up on time, and delivered their scope of work thanks to Heather’s lead. She led an event with 8 groomsmen, 3 ushers, 7 bridesmaids, 4 parents, 4 grandparents, 150 other guests, and 10 plus vendors. My wedding weekend was everything I dreamed it would be and I know that is in large part thanks to her. My husband and I had a few moments at the reception where we both looked at each other and said “this is perfect. Everything is perfect.

She even made sure my husband and I had plenty of food and wedding cake in our hotel room the next day and had a drink and plate of appetizers ready for us when we got to the reception.

We talked to several wedding planners in the 30-A area before selecting Heather. We chose her because we appreciated her professionalism. We found her to be highly regarded by all the vendors we spoke with which solidified our choice. She did not let us down! There were several unexpected and unavoidable changes that Heather stepped in and handled efficiently and even before we knew what was happening! Heather and her staff executed our daughter's wedding on April 28 flawlessly and beautifully, which allowed me as the MOB to enjoy the day with the least amount of stress imaginable. She went above and beyond what we expected and I cannot say enough about how thankful we are to have had her lead our team. We had 9 bridesmaids and 10 groomsmen and with her planning (down to each minute!) all went smoothly. I highly recommend her - she is worth her weight in gold!!

We chose Heather initially because she handles all of the weddings herself, rather than assigning them out to a team (if we were going to pay for a planner, we wanted to get all the experience that comes with one!). She also was more competitively priced than others. My husband and I were very happy with how our wedding turned out, even though we planned it from hundreds of miles away, and we owe most of that credit to Heather. We would recommend her to others in a heartbeat!

We hired Heather before we picked a wedding date and venue. She helped us through the entire process and made sure our wedding was absolutely perfect!! All of the vendors she suggested did an amazing job and I can't say enough about how beautiful our wedding was. She helped us with everything from budgeting the entire wedding, helping us develop our vision for our wedding, to communicating our vision to all of our vendors, and keeping us on track with all of our planning. It was great having one point of contact for everything related to our wedding as she handled the vendor communications, setting up meetings, payment schedules, etc. She was super organized and on top of things. Best of all, I felt like she gave me really great candid advice when I was on the fence about certain elements of the wedding or vendors. On our wedding day, I knew everything was going to go perfectly and I didn't have to worry about a thing because Heather had it covered! I couldn't have pulled off such a perfect wedding without Defining Moments! It was worth every penny!

Heather was the most unbelievable wedding planner, and her assistant Kenya was so helpful day-of. We'd just gone through my sister's wedding process without a planner & felt we may need a local planner for my destination wedding in Rosemary Beach. We selected Heather from a friend's recommendation & appreciated that she had a "2 month out package" since we'd already made the big venue, florist, caterer, band decisions. I can't even tell you how responsive she was, willing to assist with any task. She kept us on task! We had party props, ringbearer pillow, bubbles, etc mailed directly to her, and we never even saw those items until they were where they needed to be! When we woke up at 9am on the wedding day, I said, "Mom, how does it feel to know that setup's underweigh & we have NOTHING to do with it?!" It was so nice to walk down & "check on" the progress as a bystander. She had every detail of the day planned out & ensured that we didn't have a thing to worry about. She had orchestrated a perfect ceremony and came down to the beach with us & the photographers for sunset photos. When she pulled out a paintbrush afterwards to get the sand off my feet before putting my shoes back on, I knew we'd picked the best planner out there! During the reception, I never saw her except for the precise moments I needed her! She approached us right after our dances with drinks & plate of passed apps. When dinner stations opened, she grabbed myself & the Groom (and my parents) and had plates with "a little bit of everything" prepped for us to sit down & eat while the crowd was forming lines to fix plates! She came and got us for cake cutting and gave us a quick & helpful "how to." My bustle broke, and she was right there with pins, saving the day. She had a bag with food, bubbly, and everything we needed in the pedicab we exited in. The entire weekend went so smoothly and we have Heather & Kenya to thank for a lot of it! I don't hesitate in recommending Heather & Defining Moments

We used Heather for my daughter's Rosemary Beach wedding 2/25/2017. She truly exceeded our expectations throughout the entire wedding planning process from beginning to end! She left no detail undone! She was super efficient, organized and very pleasant to deal with. She oversaw the entire event and made sure we had not a worry :). Her assistant, Kenya, was also wonderful! She stayed right along side us all day, quietly tending to any need we had. She was just as sweet as could be and super helpful and organized!

Defining Moments was the best decision regarding my wedding that I made. From start to finish, I was in great hands. My wedding day was extremely calm because I knew I was in such good hands with Heather and her assistant. Heather at Defining Moments Weddings and Events was truly the MVP of my husband and I's wedding.
First and foremost, we got married in Seaside Florida on October 29th, 2016. We started working with her in August of 2015, after a few connections in Seaside, Florida recommended her to us. When we asked Amy at Homeowners Collection who the main wedding planners were in the area, she replied simply, "Oh, you have to get Heather."
So we took their advice. From Heather and I's very first conversation, I could tell that there was no problem that Heather has not thought of, and that there was no problem that she could not quickly solve. There were several bumps in the road over the next year, but she was ahead of the game, posing questions to us before they could become full on wedding-ruiners. For example, last second we found out that the person who made our signage had not shipped us a seating chart that actually functioned. She had left out the clothespins, so there was no way for us to put our seating chart information. Heather three days before our wedding went to Hobby Lobby at 7 PM at night after her workout in order to get hot glue guns and mini clothespins for us to fix the seating chart with. The word exceptional came to mind. This was 7 PM on a weekday--no doubt when she was wanting to enjoy time with her family.
She went above and beyond in terms of how she communicated with us. We are from Texas, so our wedding was destination--which meant that hearing our wedding details clearly communicated and getting lots of visuals from Heather--pictures, charts, etc. would really make all the difference in our comfort level. Heather never went more than 24 hours without responding to us, and she was very good about sending polite reminder emails when life got busy.
Bottom line: Heather Archdeacon Williams should be the first vendor you choose. You absolutely will not regret it.

Years from now, I might look back on my wedding day and regret my choice in dress or in our first-dance song, but a decision I will never regret is asking Heather to plan my wedding.

She's a seasoned professional wrapped in a cheerful, petite package! Within minutes of our first meeting, she put me and my mother at ease with her calm demeanor, knowledge on every wedding-related topic imaginable, along with her careful note taking.

Throughout my wedding journey with Heather, every question was met with a swift answer, every opinion was shared more as a thoughtful suggestion and every fire was put out before I knew there was a blaze. Her m.o. is perfection and going above and beyond.

I'll never forget her giving a few last comforting words to me before she swung open the town hall doors for my father and I to walk down the aisle. And later that evening I was thankful she'd stashed the wedding suite with plenty of delicious leftovers for a pair of hungry newlyweds to devour the next morning.

Heather is one of the most talented professionals with whom I've ever worked. From our very first phone conversation, she stood head and shoulders above the other 7-8 planners (yes, really!) we'd interviewed. Within days of working together, I found myself relaxing...entrusting to her all of our lists, tasks, and loose ends. Within a few weeks, my mom and I had gotten to a point wherein we discontinued any/all research on our own; if we needed something, we simply asked Heather and trusted entirely her recommendations. She was remarkably prompt in all communications and fail-proof in her recommendations - every last one of her recommended vendors were phenomenal. Though we were fortunate (thanks to Heather!) to not have ANY wedding weekend crises, we had a moment the day before the wedding wherein we realized my mom and I had neglected to purchase the celebratory bubbles/bells for use during our "grand exit" from the reception. Without batting an eye, Heather looked calmly at me and said, "Don't give this a second thought; I'll take care of it." Within 2 hours (I'm not exaggerating) she texted me to say that she'd procured both bubbles AND bells from a nearby craft store. Mission accomplished...and before I even had time to worry about anything. Granted, one can have a very happy wedding (and exit!) sans bells or bubbles. I share this story, however, to illustrate Heather's readiness/ability to tackle any challenge...and in record time. I'm certain that had my groom disappeared the morning of our wedding, Heather would have hunted him down and made things right! (Thankfully, there was no need for this.) I could go on and on...but in closing, I'll say this: having worked with a variety of professionals across numerous settings, I can honestly say that Heather is one of the most talented and passionate professionals I've ever encountered. It was a true joy to work with someone who loves her career so fully and evidently. We are forever grateful to you!

I cannot say enough good things about Heather at Defining Moments.

I decided to have a destination wedding in Seaside, Florida, so the entire planning process was done long distance. Heather did such a fantastic job communicating with me -- no question was too minor and she was always prompt with a response. Heather also recommended amazing vendors in the area that ensured we were getting everything we wanted, while still remaining within our budget.

The event itself was everything I had dreamed it would be. And with Heather by my side I had the support I needed to be sure that no detail was forgotten, which enabled me to enjoy the weekend of the wedding with my family, instead of fretting over last minute items.

And Heather is always prepared for every scenario! Even when the bustle on my dress broke at the beginning of the reception, Heather was there with a thread and needle to sew it up in a flash! :)

Honestly I was upset at first Rosemary required a day-of coordinator for my wedding, another costs?!? WOW was I WRONG! If I could only have had one service, it would hands down be Heather with Defining Moments. As part of her Day-of Service, she comes in two months before and handles the logistics that a bride should not ever be bothered by leading up to her special day! Oh my goodness, where to start!?! Heather is absolutely amazing! I knew from the first time my parents and I met with Heather, she was going to be a perfect fit and great help in our wedding planning process. Heather is extremely organizing and is so great at what she does!! Having a destination wedding was a bit nerve wrecking not being to be in Destin all the time whenever a question arose. Heather was always so quick to help answer any questions we had and always offering the best suggestions. She came to my vendors meetings and helped make sure everything was going to run smoothly. It was so nice having her wedding day timeline that she made for the wedding party, my vendors, and family. Making sure everyone knew where they were suppose to be at what time, made everything perfect! It definitely helped having Heather and her assistant there at our wedding and reception to keep the nerves down on my parents and let them enjoy their day too. Having three daughters, this was the first time we used a wedding planner for our daughter's destination wedding. Heather was phenomenal!!!! She thought of everything and was so thorough! My daughter is very organized and Heather was excellent on all the planning steps and doing timelines so we knew when and where we had to be . On the wedding day , she distributed the boutonnière's, bouquets, made sure the wedding party was where they needed to be all thru the day and evening. When I look back on the decisions made and her projections, she was spot on every single time and I'm so glad we took her advice - everything from invitations, how many people to invite vs how many would attend, number of koozies to order, favors, welcome gifts, food, vendors, etc. She kept all of our vendor payments organized as well which was a true blessing. Heather simply takes the stress out of wedding planning and coordinates all of the vendors, timing, where everyone should be and at what time, etc.. I wouldn't have changed a thing thanks to her!

She is very responsive, supremely organized, and made our wedding day the smoothest, best day ever. I was planning from out of town and Heather made it easy, being readily available via email or phone. She had everything prepared several days out, calmed me down about any of my worries, and carried the wedding day out flawlessly. Even when running around at the wedding no one ever even knew she was there the way she just fit in perfectly with her assistant (who was wonderful, too!)

She's awesome, prepared, smart, organized, responsive, and creative. Looking back, I truly can't imagine my wedding day without her!

From our initial inquiry phone call, Heather was extremely prompt in every aspect of communication. We live in Dallas and the wedding was in Seaside, Florida at the Interfaith Chapel with reception on the Lyceum Lawn. Her email communication of checklists, schedules, budget reports kept us focused which really eliminated any unnecessary stress. She was extremely professional not only with us, but the vendors we visited as well; only sharing experiences and facts verses opinions. This helped us create and stay true to our vision of the wedding instead of what was convenient for her.

It was hard to say good bye because she was such a positive integral part of such a personal experience. Can't begin to express how much we appreciate all she did.

We were so pleased with the knowledge and professionalism Heather displayed throughout the whole process of my daughter's wedding planning. She was always available to assist us whenever we called and was quick to return calls with the information we had requested. It was especially helpful to us since we were all 6-7 hours away from our destination wedding venue, and did most of the planning via phone calls and emails.

Our wedding was absolutely perfect, thanks in large part to Heather. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was incredibly organized and sent us regular emails notifying us when vendor payments were due. She was incredibly flexible and would take calls with us late in the evening to accommodate our busy work schedules. I never worried about anything falling through the cracks since we knew Heather had an eye on all the details. Her services were by far the best money spent on the wedding since she allowed us not only to plan a perfect wedding but also ensured execution was seamless so we could enjoy the festivities all weekend. Heather was absolutely wonderful to work! She went above and beyond to make our wedding special! Words cannot express how wonderful it was working with Defining Moments! We had a destination wedding is Seaside and didn't know where to begin. Heather was able to provide us with lists of the best vendors in the area and we ended up with vendors who were not only excellent, but were great matches for us and our vision. Heather is knowledgeable, prompt, reliable and extremely organized. We had no problem having our questions answered right away and the quality of service is second to none.

We were able to enjoy a stress free wedding day knowing that Heather and her assistant, Kenya, were there to take care of anything that would pop-up and the whole planning process was easier and more enjoyable than we could have imagined! Working with Heather at Defining Moments Events was hands down the best decision we made for the wedding. She is organized, efficient, responsive, encouraging, calming, punctual, and she just gets things done. Planning a destination wedding in Watercolor/Seaside from far away, I was worried I wouldn’t have control or input on many of the wedding details. She was able to listen to my vision and make it a reality by putting us in touch with the best vendors in the area and ensuring we were all on the same page. Knowing we had her coordinating with vendors and doing much of the legwork enabled me to enjoy the wedding planning process rather than feel entirely overwhelmed by it all. Heather gave her honest opinions without imposing and always valued what I wanted. From the major decisions like the band and venue to the tiniest of details like the sign on the get-away car, she somehow managed it all and made it look effortless. Throughout the planning, I knew I was blessed to be working with Heather, but I was most grateful for her when it came to the actual wedding week/weekend. She was such a reassuring presence and helped with all of the last minute details while reminding everyone surrounding me that their job was to allow me to enjoy the wedding weekend and make it the least stressful possible. She managed a bridal party of 33 flawlessly, communicating effectively the important details of the ceremony at the rehearsal in a very efficient and respectful manner. The actual wedding day, she must have had 1,000 things on her to do list and miraculously accomplished every single one. At one point I got hot pink lip gloss on my wedding dress, but her team immediately jumped in and was ultra prepared with not one but three different stain removers! They easily removed the stain and kept me calm throughout the process. I am so thankful for Heather and her team at Defining Moments Weddings and Events for making our dream wedding come true!

Heather was such a pleasure to work with!! She is amazing at her job. She knows the vendors and the area very well and is extremely knowledgable about all wedding planning details. She was truly an advocate for me as a bride and in all forms of communication represented what we wanted our special day to look like. She would respond to emails, texts, and phone calls faster than I could ever imagine and no idea or request was off limits. She is not only kind and fun to work with through the planning months but was calm, directive, and so pleasant to be with during our wedding weekend. She has amazing relationships with other vendors as well. She did a fantastic job of figuring out our vision and matching the best vendors for that. We can't say enough about how grateful we are to have worked with Heather in planning our wedding. I can truly say that the event went on without any flaws and none of it would have been possible without Heather's diligence and skill-set. She was incredible working with all the vendors and our guests, she advocated for us throughout the whole process and always kept us on track.The morning of the wedding I felt so calm - even went to have a nice breakfast with my mom and my best friend - all because I knew she had everything under control. I was able to enjoy the day with my family and friends and wasn't worried about center pieces or getting people to the ceremony on time. The peace I felt helped me to really be in the moment and enjoy our special day, that alone made Defining Moments' services beyond worth it. Heather was beyond helpful to my fiance and I as we planned our wedding. I did not have to worry about 1 thing concerning our wedding once she was involved. She coordinated every aspect of our 3 night long event- catering, event rentals, entertainment, housing, transportation, photography, etc. She was the most professional and easiest person I have ever had the pleasure of working with. All I can say is that 5 stars is not enough for Heather. When selecting the different vendors for our wedding when we began wedding planning, we scoured wedding wire looking at reviews. Heather was one of the top planners that we came across and rightfully so. Upon meeting her, my wife and I knew that she was going to be the perfect fit for us. Even though we were both local to the area, her knowledge of locations (We wouldn't have even picked the location we ended up using because we didn't think it would fit in our budget) and vendors (not only does she have a very thorough network, but she will help nix different things that are unnecessary to get the price where you want it) was invaluable. Always punctual and professional, she made sure we were on track with our timeline and that everything was accounted for. Even with all the planning, one of the vendors (photo booth) no showed for the event due to vehicle malfunction. Heather was able to contact a different company that offered the photo booth and have it in place right after dinner concluded. She does her absolute best to understand what the bride and groom want for the event and then completely delivers. I cringe at the thought of the state my wife would have been in if we had decided to have her do the planning. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect planner for our big day than Heather. We are sincerely grateful for everything she did to make the wedding memorable and the events move smoothly.

Heather's combination of professionalism and awesome inter-personal skills are the main reason why we were able to actually relax and enjoy our wedding! She gave us the gentle nudging we often needed to get our coordination done on time and seemed to be everywhere all at once during our event. She and her assistant, Kenya, were amazing to work with. Equally impressive is the fact that we were the first of three consecutive weddings she was in charge of that weekend. I don't know how she does it but I'm very appreciative that she does!

Where do I start?! Heather Archdeacon Williams with Defining Moments Weddings and Events was absolutely spectacular. My husband and I planned our wedding in Destin, Florida from Rhode Island, so most of our planning was done over the phone and email. Heather was always responsive and made sure we stayed on top of our payment deadlines. We didn't meet Heather until the week of our wedding, but we were never concerned. She was just as amazing in person as she was over the phone. Our wedding day was over the top magical. Our guests couldn't believe how beautiful and well run both the ceremony and reception was. We owe all of this to Heather!

We can't thank Heather enough for making our day MORE than we could have ever imagined.

I cannot say enough great things about Heather. Heather helped plan my wedding from start to finish and was so courteous and professional throughout the entire process. She took much of the stress off of planning a destination wedding. On the Thursday before my wedding, we got a call saying that Tropical Storm Karen was going to hit on Saturday and that we would not be able to use the outside venue as planned. Within hours, Heather had reserved an entire new venue that allowed me to keep my same band, caterer, florist, etc. There is absolutely no way I could have pulled this off without her. Plan B ended up being great and I couldn't have been happier.

Heather is the best! She is absolute perfection from A to Z. Over the course of six months, she never failed to amaze us. She is thorough, responsive, organized, knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. I felt at ease working with her over the phone and solidified that when we met in person. They were amazing! I did not have to worry about anything throughout the entire planning and especially on the wedding day. I live 6 hours away so this was a destination wedding, and it was so easy because of them. They really listened and encouraged me to show photos of what I liked. They then gave multiple choices for photographer, florist, etc. from what I said and showed. All the choices she gave were great, but every choice was made with confidence because the effort they made to fit me. There of course was a rain plan for the outside wedding, and of course, the weather was more than bad. I had pictured how it was going to look and was so disappointed, but after seeing Heather and her crew at work, I was just as excited about the new plan, and I am not exaggerating at all. She is so creative with a great eye and is very professional about it. She was there for me when I needed her throughout the day as well. Heather is amazing and made this day better than I could imagine.

Heather was absolutely amazing!!! As the mother of the bride I would never plan another wedding without her. Unfortunately, I don’t have any more unmarried daughters. It was evident from our first phone conversation that Heather was super efficient and knowledgable. She always responded to phone calls and emails immediately. She was full of great advice, listened to my daughter’s wishes, and helped us to secure vendors that lived up to all our expectations. I was able to to relax and let Heather take care of everything. My daughter always imagined an outdoor wedding but as the wedding day approached we realized that rain was going to alter that image a bit. Heather completely organized Plan B and put it into action. We were almost glad that it rained because Heather made Plan B so wonderful. She never missed a beat and put us all at ease. Weather was not even an issue. Hiring Heather at Defining Moments was the BEST DECISION we made for my wedding. Living in Atlanta and having the wedding in Seaside made it for a stressful couple of months until we found Heather. She was WONDERFUL. She is very organized in every aspect with detailed budgets to detailed itineraries for everyone involved in the wedding. She is easy to work with and talk to, and she was always quick to respond with emails and phone calls. She isn't pushy, and made me feel comfortable in all decisions. Heather even made a pinterest board for me after one day when we talked about what i was looking for in our wedding. I was not "Suzie Wedding", so she made everything so easy for me, my husband, and my parents.
