Would hire again in a heartbeat

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Dave was really professional, asked a lot of great questions and really took the lead when I had no idea where to start. The music was so good, and I know he spent time prepping the playlist.
His questions helped organize me and keep the event (my 60th birthday) on track. I highly recommend Dave and would hire him again in a heartbeat!
Dave also had equipment (lights, speakers, etc) that helped make the event extra special.

Dave and Johanna were absolutely phenomenal and truly deserve to be recognized as one of the best DJ teams out there. From the very beginning, they were incredibly organized, responsive, and supportive, making the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day, they went above and beyond to bring the bride’s vision to life and keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes.
Dave is a master at reading the room—he knew exactly when to switch things up, what songs would get different groups on the dance floor, and how to keep the energy high all night long. The dance floor was never empty, and our guests are still talking about how much fun they had. His transitions were smooth, his timing was perfect, and he balanced our must-play list with crowd favorites in a way that felt effortless and personalized.
Johanna was just as incredible, taking such thoughtful care of the bride and groom throughout the night. "OMG who is your DJ they are incredible"

Dave Mancini is, without a doubt, the best, most engaged, most professional, and liveliest event DJ we have ever met or seen. Every other guests told us the same thing, and our wedding reception could not have gone better. We actually feel so lucky we got to work with him. From the planning process to setup, to event time, he's just on point. He also worked hard to understand our vision and music preferences for the entire evening - from cocktail hour to party music to lighting and MC duties. Memories to last a lifetime, thank you Dave!

Best. Wedding. DJ. Ever.

We truly cannot recommend DJ Dave highly enough! From the moment we first connected, he made it clear that he was invested in us — not just our playlist. He spent extra time in our pre-wedding meeting getting to know our personalities, our love story, and the overall vibe we wanted for our big day. That personal touch made all the difference.

On the big day, DJ Dave absolutely delivered. He helped coordinate a seamless transition for our traditional Korean attire change, which was super meaningful to us and so important to have done right. He made it feel like a natural part of the evening’s flow and kept the energy going strong the entire time.

And the dance floor? Packed. All. Night. Long. Even late into a Sunday night! He got everyone from our grandparents to our officiant out there dancing — it was amazing to look around and see every generation having fun together. Guests are still talking about how much fun they had.

On top of all that, Dave was incredibly organized and professional. He worked closely with us to plan every part of the reception so it all flowed beautifully, and he handled last-minute changes like a total pro.

The Best DJ Ever!

My husband and I had the true blessing of having Dave as our MC and DJ for our wedding in August. We are so grateful for him and everything he did to accommodate us and make our day perfect. I had a less than optimal venue coordinator who made me quite nervous for the wedding day and Dave comforted me and ensured that my day would go smooth. He made sure she stayed in line and that we, the bride and groom, had a great time. We can’t thank him enough! You’d be making a huge mistake if you didn’t hire him! Best Wedding Ever!

I can confidently say that our wedding was absolutely magical, and a huge part of that magic was the incredible DJ music that kept everyone dancing all night long! Dave is the BEST!!

Dave and his wife, Johanna, were amazing - we simply could not have found a better MC. We planned on interviewing 2 or 3 MCs before making a decision but from the moment we met him, we knew he was the perfect fit for our vision of our wedding. He is fully vested in you and wants to ensure that your day unfolds exactly the way you dream it will. He asks all the right questions so that on the big day, there are no questions - all you have to do is show up and he and Johanna take care of the rest. We have the best memories of our day and Dave had such a big part in it! We will definitely hire them again for any big event and you should too!!

Best wedding DJ!

Dave was the DJ/MC at my sister’s wedding a year prior to my wedding. He was amazing and I knew that we had to have him at ours! He was so knowledgable and had great ideas when we wanted to do some nontraditional dances. He was willing to work with our busy schedules to meet and accommodated us when needed. He was always so kind and respectful and made us so excited about the music! Our guests still talk about how much fun the wedding was and how incredible the music was. Best Officiant, DJ, MC Ever

Dave helped make our dream wedding come true. From day one, he was completely invested. His attention to detail and professionalism showed up in every email, text, meeting, and of course the big day. A true professional. Beyond that, Dave truly made us feel taken care of. He took time to get to know us and make our wedding uniquely ours. We told Dave we wanted to do a hand fasting during our ceremony. Within days, he prepared a ceremony script which made us cry. Dave and his wife Johanna were perfect for our wedding. Our wedding planner, Tara found Dave for us, and we’re so glad! He really got to know us and our guests to help us have the perfect day. Dave met with us a few months before the ceremony via zoom and a month before the big day with Tara in-person. He had great advice for us when considering what music to play at our wedding, and how he could support us in making our day extra special. We had the perfect mix of electronica, pop, fun summer music, etc. that set a great tone and atmosphere for the entire evening along with lights to set the mood for the dance floor. Dave coordinated the schedule with our planner Tara and our wedding ceremony musicians to make sure the whole event went seamlessly. People had a great time dancing, making conversation, and the music had the right vibe for everyone to enjoy themselves and celebrate together. Johanna took a great video at our wedding and posted a fabulous Instagram Reel our guests loved! And Dave made us a mixtape CD of the songs we chose for special moments at our wedding. Dj dave is the best!

Dave is the BEST!
I first met Dave by working alongside him -- I'm a wedding photographer, and our paths crossed at a wedding we both worked together. He immediately impressed me: unlike some other "DJs" out there, he actually knows his stuff when it comes to audio. He also proved right away that he shows attention to detail and safety -- taping down cables and sand-bagging his speaker stands. He showed outstanding professionalism through his communication with all the other vendors, ensuring we were all on the same page and that the couple's day would run smoothly. During the reception, his personality shone, proving that he's not just a pro at logistics, but also knows how to address and entertain a crowd. I was sold.

So when it came time to hire vendors for my OWN wedding, Dave was the first person I thought of. What better way to know that your DJ will be awesome than to have personally seen him at work at another wedding? After one Zoom meeting, my fiancee (now wife) was sold too.

First off, Dave could (and should) be charging MUCH more for his stellar services. So you get him at a steal! But also, he has an awesome personality, takes communication seriously, has plenty of experience to bring to the table, and is just an all-around great guy! Both our wedding planner and venue coordinator raved about how awesome it was to work with Dave. (For those keeping count, that's now 3 wedding industry professionals who swear that Dave is the best.)

Despite being based in Santa Clarita, he made a point to do a walkthrough of our Escondido wedding venue with our venue coordinator months ahead of the date, working out unloading details and more.

My wife had a very specific vision for the ceremony music, and Dave executed it all flawlessly. On the day, he acted as a second coordinator, keeping the day going smoothly and keeping the good vibes flowing.

He even surprised us at the end of the day by presenting us with a mix CD of our wedding day playlist -- an amazing personal touch. And then he kept the connection going by sending us a handwritten thank you card -- a gesture so often overlooked and underappreciated.

Hiring Dave for your special day is one of the best decisions you could make. If you value professionalism, awesome communication, and *good vibes*, DJ Dave is definitely the way to go. You won't regret it.

Great service, value, and experience

Dave made our wedding a high energy dance party. His music selection kept our guests out on the dance floor and lead our wedding through the night. Dave was very attentive as a DJ and MC and an excellent communicator.

Dave help make my vow renewal the best day ever!

I don't even know where to begin. There are not enough words to describe how amazing Dave was. Dave was our MC and our officiant. He was so helpful, so patient, was available to us anytime and really made us feel like he cared and wanted to get to know us to make our vow renewal the best day ever. Everyone at the ceremony thought he was a friend of ours because the way he is was so personable and so genuine with everything. That's how much he cares and truly wants to make your day feel special. He was an amazing help when it came to the timeline of the ceremony and when everything should happen. If it wasn't for him I would have been completely lost. He also did an amazing job of putting a little video together of the ceremony with music of our first dance. The Epitome of an Excellent MC/DJ

Dave is the epitome of an excellent MC. When I first hired him I did not know what exactly a DJ or an MC really did. After working with Dave for my wedding, he has set an incredibly high standard. Dave's level of professionalism and attentiveness to our wedding was remarkable.

He not only learned our wedding timeline, he even helped make it! His experience and attention to detail showed from the first day we hired him all the way to the big day. As a master of ceremony he was in charge of moving the party along and took that stress out of our hands.

Beyond all that, the music was amazing. We requested several different genres and songs in different languages and even so, his music was on point all night. The dance floor was packed from the beginning of the party to the time they had to kick us out of the venue.

Hiring Dave was the Best Wedding Decision We Made!

Dave was by far our easiest vendor to work with and he really made it clear that he was on OUR TEAM for the wedding! Between his MC and DJ skills, our wedding logistics flowed seamlessly, our guests were comfortable and knew what to do next, and we had an EPIC dance party which will forever live on in my memory. We had many guests tell us after the wedding that they've never had so much fun on the dance floor than at our wedding reception! Dave is Awesome !!!!

I met Dave at the Bridal Expo, at the Hyatt. Speaking with Dave and asking a million questions, he was so friendly and polite, he answered them all. I knew he would be perfect for my daughters vow renewal / wedding. We did a Zoom meeting with with my daughter and then another one with my son in law. They both liked him and it was a go from there. He helped me every step of the way. Helping us with time guidelines, music and whatever else we needed. He worked with the Hyatt to make sure everything would run smoothly. We all liked him so much, he wasn’t just the DJ, he was also the Officiant for the wedding. I would highly recommend Dave for any wedding, party or any occasion. Best Decision We Made

In our hunt for the perfect emcee/DJ for our special night, we met with many people; Dave stood out for his preparedness, friendliness, and desire to meet and get to know us in person as people, not as just clients.

Dave was accessible, caring, and organized, always working to keep us on track in the most helpful of ways. He took initiative and shared his past experiences in order to help us have a smooth evening. He was willing to work with us, with our budget, and figure out how to make something happen. The mvp!

As a DIY wedding couple , my husband and I greatly appreciated Dave’s assistance throughout the entire process, from the moment we had our first phone consult to the end of our reception. Dave was truly the MVP that made our wedding come together as effortlessly as it could have and kept the party going all night. While I could blame the alcohol, I’d rather say it was Dave’s perfect execution of our playlist for our music themed wedding that had me, a non-dancer, on the dance floor nearly the entire night. We are also delighted to not only have this professional relationship but also a newfound friendship with him and his lovely wife, who also was a blessing on our wedding day. Hands down the best DJ

Dave was the DJ for our wedding back in December. We video called a few times, he drove out to meet us and go over final details, we had his number for any questions or concerns. He had absolutely no problem getting back to us, and making us feel like we were no bother. Pre- wedding he was fantastic, communicative, and flexible. Now the actual wedding day, he was... EVEN FREAKING BETTER! All of the guests loved him, he played music that all ages danced to, he took requests, he had lights, his own sound system, had games for the groom and I to play for our guests, spoke clearly and loudly through the mic. He was just and absolute dream. He even surprised us with a video that he took at the reception that his wife took of us. 50th Anniversary Party

Dave took the time to get to know us and personalized our 50th anniversary to exactly what we wanted it to be. Our guests complimented us on the DJ/MC. The dance floor was never empty.

Dave Mancini - MC/DJ was the perfect way to really formulate our Wedding After Party! Dave was terrific with his interview process, walking us through what the party would be like and helped us navigate through details we'd overlooked. We really, truly appreciate Dave's professionalism, his ability to incorporate our favorite music and specific songs for different moments within our party! Dave was spot on in getting our guests feeling welcome, breaking the ice and motivating our guests to be actively involved in the party! We cannot say enough about Dave. We had our first meeting with Dave and immediately felt comfortable with him. Every meeting helped us relax which is huge when planning a wedding. The music selection was fantastic! Just Amazing!

We cannot thank Dave enough for his incredible work during our wedding celebration! He was incredible! He was able to take the genres of music we love and seamlessly stitch them together to make an amazing party! He was even able to restart the dancing after it had died down! More than his great work during our event he was very understanding during the COVID closures. We worked with him for just about 3 years because of the pandemic and we can't think of a more amazing and understanding person. We cannot recommend him enough!

My husband and I reached out to Dave almost three years ago to be the DJ for our wedding. Five minutes into our first meeting with him, we knew we had to have him there on our big day. He was warm and welcoming, but we could sense the sheer excitement and passion that he brought to the table. Not many people can say that their vendors stuck by their side throughout a handful of postponements due to Covid, but when it comes to Dave, we can. He kept our spirits up by consistently checking in with us despite having to postpone our reception several times. His passion and confidence never wavered and he certainly brought this same energy to the event! He consulted us every step of the way, worked his magic, and played songs that made our guests laugh, scream, cry, and most importantly, DANCE! He worked seamlessly with our other vendors to ensure that our reception was perfect. We watched as he got everyone on their feet and somehow got family and friends that we have never seen on the dance floor to truly enjoy themselves. Dave was seriously one of the best parts of our entire event. A full dance floor at all times thanks to DJ Dave!!!

Working with DJ Dave was one of the best parts of the wedding planning process and wedding overall. We saw on his website the "Hug & Hi Five" icebreaker and immediately knew we wanted him to DJ/MC our wedding this May 2022. And boy, were we happy that we made this decision! From start to finish, DJ Dave was quick to respond, easy to work with, gave us suggestions on how to make our wedding night "flow", and was there for us in times of stress! He had our backs throughout the entire process, especially the week leading up to the wedding. On wedding night, he played mostly all of our requests and kept the crowd entertained. His way of transitioning from one event to the next was seamless. He did the "Hug & Hi Five" which people are still talking about to this day....I think after that, the dance floor was packed for the entire rest of the night. We couldn't have imagined a more magical night!! Thank you for everything DJ Dave!!

The best mc/dj there ever was!

Dave is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!!!! We hired him for our wedding this past weekend and could not have asked for a BETTER MC/DJ. He knew how to get the crowd going and the dance floor was NEVER empty. It was always full and my friends are still talking about how great the music was. Dave is kind and really knows what he is doing and cares about his work. What you need to know about Dave

When we first had our initial meeting with Dave I had questions we were going to ask him. We ended up not needing to ask anything, because Dave already answered everything and then more. He was so friendly, fun, and assuring that he can address every concern.
Our main concern was that our guests were not going to dance and would leave early, because of it being late at night and not into some of the music.
Well Dave not only assured us that it would not happen. He also went above and beyond his role. He helped us through a extremely big situation with the wedding during the last 3 months.
He helped guide us, others, and the event flawlessly. Not once were we worried from day one of meeting him to the end of the event.

What does everyone REALLY need to know about Dave?
He is: professional, ethical, kind, insanely generous with his time, trustworthy, absolutely devoted to his job and is someone we want to have around for EVERY event. He is forever a dear friend of ours.

Dave was the BEST DJ/MC we could've asked for!!

Dave was the absolute best MC/DJ we could have ever asked for! He was always professional, he listened to what we wanted and was able to execute everything we had asked for, and then some. He is a true, genuine person and we put all our trust in him to provide us with an amazing night to remember.

So many of the guests commented on how funny and entertaining he was. Our reception was a dream come true and Dave helped make it a night to never forget!

We originally booked Dave before the pandemic and then when we needed to postpone our wedding, Dave was VERY accommodating.

If anyone is in need for an MC/DJ, we highly recommend Dave Mancini! 10/10 Stars!

Very professional, kind, and helpful!

Dave was awesome at our wedding! The months leading up, he was very punctual and quick to respond to our emails/texts. He granted our requests and made the whole process of planning and executing a wedding very smooth! I asked him to combined two different songs for the father/daughter dance and he did it perfectly! He got the crowd up and excited for the night. He kept the night on track (time-wise) and helped us through all of the formalities. Could NOT imagine having anyone else DJ/MC our wedding. Dave was amazing right from the start. Our wedding had to be postponed 3 times due to COVID restrictions but Dave was always there right along our side every step of the way. He kept in contact with us regularly and informed us of any updates with regards to wedding restrictions in LA. On top of that, he was incredibly accommodating, responsive, and professional with every encounter. Fun and Memorable!

When I first met Dave at a bridal show in 2019, something just clicked. My husband and I met Dave pre-COVID and planned to have a wedding in November 2020. When we had to postpone to May 2021, Dave was so understanding. He was very flexible, and we appreciated that he did not require any re-booking fees and was there to support us with any decisions we made. Flash-forward to one month before our wedding and we had to change venues. It was very stressful, but Dave was there to give some recommendations for new venues which we appreciated so much!
We ended up going with a venue which was used to having its own vendors which presented more challenges for Dave, but if there was anything that went awry, we didn't know. The night was amazing! Dave used some of our personal stories to make connections to our guests. One friend even asked if Dave was a family friend because it seemed like he had known us so well. Dave also got the whole group of about 100 guests up and dancing almost immediately! He played all the types of music we requested and overall was an amazing MC at a very fair price. We thank Dave so so much for helping us finally have the dream wedding we've wanted for 2 years!

Look no further!

Covid bride, here! And I just wanted to take some time to let you know why you should pick DJ Dave Mancini for your special occasion.

First of all, I was one of the many who's wedding date was rescheduled due to the pandemic. Dave was so accommodating and flexible from the very beginning. Even when our venue told us they couldn't host our wedding only 2 and a half months away, Dave was open to traveling for us. Having a destination-style wedding in Vegas meant that there were a lot more moving parts compared to the all-inclusive venue we had before. Dave was like our team leader, and really played a role in bringing cohesiveness amongst all our vendors.

Also, since we had a wedding during the pandemic in Vegas, dancefloors were not allowed. We wanted our guests to still be entertained, so we decided to have a fun game night! This was no problem for Dave. He presented us with a ton of ideas for games to play with our families, such as the "Shoe-lywed Game," The Not-So-Newlywed game, and a scavenger hunt (just to name a few.) Our friends and family had a blast, and every guest we've seen since keeps telling us it was some of the MOST fun they've ever had at a wedding. They didn't miss a dancefloor at all. Not to say we didn't get to dance a little bit. Aside from the first dances, he was still able to come up with a way to distance our guests in a large circle around the room for a last group dance! It was such an epic way to close our big day. If you are looking for a vendor who is communicative and creative, then look no further.

Organized, Entertaining and Helpful

Dave was amazing! My fiancee and I have some eclectic taste in music and not only did our wedding soundtrack feel so much like us, we had a blast! Planning a wedding during a pandemic (without a planner) was not the easiest task, but Dave made sure that everything the day of went off without a hitch, from making sure everything started on time, to making sure we were fed and hydrated. THE BEST - We Weathered the Storm

DJ/MC Dave Mancini was crucial to the success of our Wedding on 11/07/20! Let me be clear, a DJ is not enough for your wedding day, they just aren't. A DJ/MC helps create seamless and fun transitions between events on your wedding day that are CRUCIAL. He can get every last guest on your dance floor effortlessly and get every guest involved in your events which makes for fun photos and unforgettable memories. My coworker, who goes to tons of weddings, said she’d never seen so many tables empty because our guests were up and having a great time. Dave spent the time getting to know us and our two very cultural families (Mexican and Egyptian), so that his MC work was flawless and the music mix was a balance of both cultures, just like he was a part of our family.

Dave didn’t just show up to play music, he helped us plan and execute our timeline just as we imagined it and did so much more. This was our 3rd attempt at a wedding date during COVID-19 and each time we had to shift gears Dave was supporting us every step of the way; he responded to our emails within the hour and they were at length which made us feel like we weren’t in this alone. He gave us insights on how other weddings were going so we could have hope and plan accordingly. We ended up getting married in a garden estate 2 hours away from our original destination but during the planning stages, Dave made a special trip to tour with us to anticipate setup needs and plan for the worst-case scenario whilst incorporating COVID-19 precautions for our speakers. We literally planned for a 90 degree weather day for months...and it ultimately RAINED. My husband and I pulled the plug on an outdoor wedding within 24 hours prior and we had to resort to PLAN C [indoor] and Dave switched up without a hiccup! Dave assured us he had everything already handled for PLAN C. Dave worked hand-in-hand with our other vendors, and family, and took it upon himself to ensure everything ran on time and SMOOTHLY. Our wedding was PERFECT, my husband and I had the time of our lives, our guests had a blast which was super important to us, and we still hear from family about how much fun they had (they are begging for video/photos). :)

Dave LOVES what he does; he is truly passionate about his work in this industry and it was evident through and through until even after the wedding. Dave WILL exceed your expectations and you’ll be glad you picked Dave for the day you’ve been long awaiting.

My credibility: I am a healthcare professional working in quality assurance and emergency disaster response; therefore, I know good people and organized/dependable professionals when I work with them. I am a salsa dancer and love a good dance party! Enthusiastic Vendor + Great for Weddings

I first saw Dave at another wedding I went to and loved everything from his personality to getting the crowd going. I raved to my fiancé about how much fun I had at the wedding and told him WE needed to get Dave for our wedding. Magical experience

The best experience

Dave Mancini is the best DJ/ MC you could ever ask for. From the beginning my wife and I knew we had a connection with him and his amazing personality. Dave is a very professional person and is always prepared for anything to happen. He is also very accommodating especially during the current Covid-19 situation. My wife and I had our venue cancelled within a month of our wedding and we were able to find a new venue and Dave met with us and helped recreate our contract and our plans for the wedding to make it the perfect day. Dave went above and beyond to help us be organized with a schedule for our wedding and worked with our caterers and photographer to make sure everything went smoothly. He also helped at our rehearsal dinner because we no longer had a wedding coordinator and he knew we needed help to know what we needed to do and helped with the whole process. On our wedding day Dave came early in plenty of time to set up his equipment and made sure we had everything we needed. On our wedding day it was extremely hot and one of Dave's computers had overheated but he was able to quickly transition to his back up and have everything running perfectly and no one noticed. After our ceremony Dave was also making sure to keep everything running smoothly and on time. My wife and I were in the front of our venue taking pictures and our guests and dave were at the reception in the back. Dave had come out front and ensured we had plenty of water do to the heat and he also met with our caterer and showed them where they needed to be so my wife and I could focus on getting our pictures done. Dave had also helped with our gift table and our guest book that were located next to him and ensured everything was where it needed to be. He also had every guest at our weddinh up and dancing almost the whole night!

Daves personality and professionalism were above anything we could have asked for and we would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a DJ/MC for their wedding, because he truly makes the day a special day and makes it perfect in every way!

Simply the best

Dave is an amazing talent and a wonderful person. He was both the MC and the officiant for the wedding. I had so many guests come up to me to say how fun the event was and the ceremony itself was one of the best ones they ever saw. Dave took a great deal of effort to make our wedding ceremony match our story and our personality. The ceremony was really fun, he got everyone dancing all night. The party kept moving and it felt like we got everything done without the party slowing down. I just could not stop smiling. He managed to get all the songs we wanted in the party and that was amazing considering the variety of genres we were asking for.

You simply could not get a better, honest, warm, professional and caring person to help you with the planning of your event. If you do not already have an officiant, he is a wonderful option. All you need to do is meet him and you will see what I mean.

Could not say enough wonderful things about him and his team. Worth everything you spend on him and he will give you the same care no matter your budget.

Our Favorite Vendor

We unfortunately had to cancel our large wedding due to COVID-19 so we did not get to see Dave in action as we had hoped. But we were very surprised (in a good way) with Dave's approach and attitude up until this point. When we first met with Dave, he took a genuine interest in getting to know us and our story so that he could represent us well at our wedding. He was extremely organized and talked us through his process, even showing us examples of wedding day timelines and choices of genres for music. He was super helpful with recommending equipment and setup without pushing extra services. And then he was the first (and one of the only) vendors to reach out to us after COVID-19 was in full effect to make sure we were okay and to see if there was anything he could do for us. We hope in the future that we get to use Dave and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Our wedding was easy, because of Dave!

Our wedding was easy. I know. I know. You're neck deep in BS from all sides right now, so you're thinking "There's no way!" or more likely "Screw this lucky pr**k." But really it was. A big part of why it was easy is: we hired Dave. From our first meeting, my wife and I knew we were in good hands. Dave came to the first meeting (almost a year out), ready to discuss what we envisioned the big day being. Not just musically, mind you. The whole picture. He had prepared worksheets to help us nail down the music we wanted. He hunted down every specific song we asked for and then filled in the rest with GREAT music that flowed with the songs we picked. And then he helped us with our timeline. And coordinated with our venue. And coordinated with our day-of coordinator. He never forgot a single detail. Often, he was the only person we had hired that had a clear picture of what we wanted. We never had to chase him down (again, often, he chased US down). Most importantly, he prioritized what we wanted. he was relaxed, and collected. Easy going about what we didn't care about, but an absolute bull-dog about what we told him were our priorities. Day of, a few things went wrong - like they always do. And Dave kept things together for us. It was just easy, because of Dave. And I am eternally grateful for his help. We had over had of the guests specifically compliment us on him. This ranged from our friends in their late twenties, to Aunts, and great Aunts in their sixties and NINETIES. He killed it. And I have no doubt he will do the same for your wedding. I hope your big day turns out exactly as you dreamed. When things go wrong (and they will), remember the crowd will follow you. It's your day. Laugh it off and they will too. Dave will help with that, too. Cheers!

Dave was AMAZING and made our wedding even better!

Dave was just the most amazing MC/DJ! Once we nailed down that my bride and I wanted Dave we knew we made the right choice. Dave was on top of things with a timeline and filling in all the songs that we wanted into his schedule. He was a professional from start to finish. We have since seen him at a few other weddings this past year and we noticed that his methods to keep the wedding reception going from start to finish all while keeping the guests energy up, is so totally worth it. I do not thing a single guess left our wedding reception early cause they had so much fun and that is all thanks to Dave!

Oh what a night

After witnessing Dave light up the dance floor at a previous wedding, we immediately knew we had to book him for our own. His ability to get everyone interacting and up on the dance floor is almost magical. He made our night one of a kind and something we will never forget.

MC/DJ Who Felt More Like a Friend

Dave was the BEST MC/DJ ever! He interviewed us prior to the wedding and was able to sprinkle in so many personalized stories during our reception right before the father/ daughter dance, mother/son dance and throughout the night. He got everyone dancing right away, all ages groups and kept everyone there until the very end! When we left we were shocked at how many people stayed the whole time. His personality is fun and relatable, his music choices reflected us as a couple and he made sure to play music all ages groups would like. Dave was my favorite vendor to deal with prior to our big day too. His response times to emails and text was so quick. He always offered advice and/ or solutions and was just a pleasure to deal with. I cannot recommend him enough!

Best vendor we booked!

Dave was hands down the BEST vendor we booked!!! The dance floor was packed from the first song until the last song. Guests have been commenting about how great Dave & Johanna were and that they've never danced so much at a wedding! Dave is full of great suggestions when it comes to the timeline, wedding traditions, and music selection. He played all our favorite songs and ensured it was the best night of our life!!! He is attentive, responsive, and professional. We are so thankful that Dave was part of our wedding!!

The best MC in LA

Without question I will say Dave is the best MC or DJ you can hire.
Without his assistance there’s no way that our wedding would have been as fun, memorable, or perfect as it was.
He was able to mix some of our not as conventional music selections with songs and genres that everyone likes and crafted the perfect playlist.
While working with him before the wedding he was able to provide a timeline of the night from his previous events and from what we had communicated to him were our priorities and ideas. To be honest I was skeptical at the timeline early on, but as we firmed up things with other vendors (like the wait staff, photographers, baker, etc.) my faith in his handiwork grew. By the end of the night I was floored at how smooth everything went. Not only were all of the events well organized, but he knew exactly how long would be good for each of them.
When it came time for everyone to dance and have a good time, his infectious joyfulness spread out and got more than a few people dancing that I didn’t expect to!
And his ability to analyze the room and know what was necessary to make it look and sound good is also impeccable. The sound was perfect from everywhere in the garden, it wasn’t too loud or soft anywhere. And his placement of the uplights brought a fun, bright touch to the area once the sun set.

Dave is the absolute best!

We are SO GLAD we chose Dave as our MC/DJ for our wedding! When I submitted an inquiry online, he called not even half an hour later to introduce himself. This added a personal touch, which we greatly appreciated. We knew instantly based on his responsiveness and enthusiasm that he was going to be so great and easy to work with. In our meetings with Dave, he not only wanted to know what kind of music we liked, but he wanted to make sure he had a good sense of who we were as people, and as a couple. He also got to know about our families through conversation, and by doing so, he fit seamlessly as a good friend at our wedding. When we were stuck choosing a song for a specific moment, Dave’s suggestions and recommendations were so greatly appreciated. He is also incredibly flexible when it comes to types of music. My side of the family is Middle Eastern, and he mixed in our chosen songs without a problem. I may be biased, but our wedding was SO MUCH FUN and many people, including myself, never stopped dancing. Truly so grateful to have had someone like Dave, who is so passionate about what he does, help make our big day absolutely perfect. Can’t thank you enough, Dave!!

Wonderful Memories

When music play at the right moment, it creates a wonderful memory. And that's what Dave was able to accomplish. Our wedding reception was four days ago and my mind is still buzzing. Not from the alcohol but from the music that was played during our reception. Now when I hear Sugar from Maroon 5 playing on my iPhone, I reminisce the moment Emily and I cut our wedding cake. Or when I hit the play button on YouTube for "Cannon in D Major”, I can still picture Emily and I walking into our Grand Entrance. Thank you, Dave, you magically transform our favorite songs into wonderful memories.

Absolutely Amazing

Hiring Dave was the best decision we made for our wedding. We can't say enough good things about Dave. He listened to what we wanted, addressed our unique concerns and needs, was lgbt-friendly, and positive and upbeat and knowledgeable. Dave and his team went way above and beyond to coordinate with our other vendors and to address any situations that came up during the reception. If I ever need to plan a reception for someone, Dave is literally the first call I'm making.

The dance floor was so full people were dancing on the side!

A DJ can make or break your wedding which is why we highly recommend Dave! We couldn't have asked for a better DJ/MC for our wedding! Dave can take care of it all! He scheduled an in-person meeting so he could see our vision and right away we all knew we would work well together. A few weeks prior to the wedding we met again and Dave helped us make a seamless schedule and select our favorite songs and collaborated on ideas to make the evening memorable. During the wedding he did an absolutely FANTASTIC job! He packed the dance floor with music that pleased the guests of all ages. He directed guests attention to certain events when necessary but other than that he let them dance their hearts out. Dave is fun to work with, is extremely responsive, and professional. I’m still getting complements from our guests and vendors about the great job he did :)

Our First and Best Wedding Decision!

When planning a wedding, so many things can go wrong. But I can honestly say we did not have to worry at all about our guests having a great time, or the flow of our reception, because we knew Dave had everything under control. Seriously, those were the only things we didn't have to worry about! So many people told us we had the most fun wedding they've ever been to, and I can put that down to Dave.

Dave handled a super logistically challenging wedding for us! He traveled all the way down to Temecula to meet with our venue months ahead of time (unless a DJ was already on our venue's DJ list, they required that). He handled the sound for the ceremony (in one outdoor location), the cocktail party (in an adjacent, but separate outdoor location), and the reception (in yet another indoor/outdoor location about a 5-minute walk away). And he did the most gorgeous uplighting at our reception, highlighting the vineyard and flowers outside where we ate and danced, and making the barrel room where we cut the cake and had our bar look gorgeous.

We wanted to incorporate little twists on lots of traditions, so Dave helped advise us on how to make these elements work, and completely helped us plan the flow of events in our reception (and we had a wedding coordinator, he worked with her seamlessly). He even found this random old NFL jingle from the 90's my husband wanted to play as he did the garter toss (using a football to hold the garter)! And he found a way to incorporate some of my awful (but beloved!) song requests without killing the vibe of the party by playing them during our selfie dance (which he suggested to help us get one-on-one time with our guests).

Our wedding day was a total BLAST! Everyone had so much fun and loved Dave! And we still had well over 100 people there (out of 135 guests) at the end of the night, outside in the cold, on a Sunday, 2 hours away from Los Angeles (where most of our guests live), totally rocking out. One of our engaged guests immediately wanted to book Dave after our wedding! He is more than a DJ/MC, he is like another wedding planner (he gave us so many vendor ideas, and so many solutions for problems that came up). Seriously, I can't recommend him enough.

Easiest Decision We Made

There are not enough words to describe how much we love Dave. Out of all of our vendors we bonded with Dave the most. He honestly just feels like he is a part of our family. He was beyond professional and so easy to communicate with.

He nailed our crowd and picked music based on what they were partying the hardest to. Our dancefloor was packed for the entire night and he was able to even get our older crowd out onto the dancefloor. The music timing on our ceremony was perfect and he was so into every little detail we fit into our wedding. I definitely felt like we were his only priority any time we emailed or had questions they were answered quickly.

You will not be disappointed. We received comments all night about how amazing he was and how much they enjoyed him. I said something to Dave at our first meeting that nothing will clear a dancefloor faster than a bad DJ. He will keep your dancefloor packed and partying through the night.

We love you Dave! Thank you for making our day so special.

Dave Mancini was a fantastic MC/DJ, and made our special day fun and memorable. From the very first interview, it was clear he took pride in his work and was interested in providing a personalized experience for our guests. Firstly, he had packages designed specifically for our venue - including uplights which were a total bonus. Next, he took the time to talk about our vision for the special day. He tailored his services to us based on our backgrounds and our unique relationship. He had tons of tips to help guide our song selections and also helped us integrate our more specialized choices (Danger Zone and Disturbed's "Your Mine" among others). He provided us with a schedule that acted as a backbone for the evening-which helped not only us but helped the venue and our photographer plan as well.

The day of the wedding itself was where Dave outdid all of our expectations. Not only did he make sure we were where we needed to be for the events of the reception, but he successfully got all of our guests up, dancing and having a great time! We could sit back and enjoy our wedding carefree, trusting that Dave had the details handled. He let the night get weird, and followed boldly instead of trying to lead our wedding party away from soulfully belting Bohemian Rhapsody. He was integral in translating the fun we felt as a couple to our guests, making it the memorable night we had always hoped it would be.

Dave surpassed all of our expectations, and was like an old friend by the day of the wedding. I would highly recommend him to future couples looking to have a fun reception!

Dave was referred to our family from a mutual friend of ours. She said Dave was just an amazing DJ/MC at her son's wedding, so we knew he would be great. We hired Dave to be the DJ/MC at our daughters wedding & it was the best decision we ever made. We are so happy that we hired Dave as our MC/DJ for our whole wedding day at Calamigos Equestrian in Burbank. He comes highly recommended by the venue and I can certainly see why! He knew our venue inside and out and even had packages for each of the rooms at the venue including ceremony music, reception, cocktail hour and even uplighting! We had several planning meetings with Dave and he perfectly understood our vision! We so enjoyed working with Dave in picking out the perfect songs for all of our special moments during the wedding day! Dave did a phenomenal job. I had been to another wedding Dave DJ'd and knew I wanted to have him DJ for our wedding. Anytime I contacted him, he responded right away. He is very professional. He was really helpful in giving us ideas on music when we weren't sure which songs to use. Dave supplied the lighting for the reception. He took down contact info. for my vendors and supplied them all with a timeline for the day, so we were all on the same page. He kept the entire event running smoothly and on schedule. He was right on que during the ceremony. And kept all the guests engaged throughout the reception. I recommend Dave Mancini to everyone, he is fabulous!

If we could describe Dave Mancini it would be UNFORGETTABLE. We attended my cousins wedding back in September 2017 and instantly we were amazed! We knew we had to have him for our wedding. Dave was our DJ/MC and officiant earlier this month. My husband and I both agreed early on that we made the perfect choice. From the first email I sent requesting a quote Dave responded within a few hours and we could tell through email that he was very professional and organized. Our wedding day was perfect. Dave was honestly the best choice for a dj hands down. Dave is extremely helpful, friendly detailed and does not disappoint. I did not have a wedding coordinator so Dave stepped in and helped me (he acually put it all together) with the wedding timeline. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect wedding. Dave not only helped put together a beautiful playlist for us but he made sure to personalize it which he then made into a cd for us! I have and will continue to recommend Dave to anyone looking to make a special event unforgettable.

Dave was the MC at our wedding this passed August and to say he was the highlight of our wedding would be an understatement! He was beyond amazing!
He was friendly personable and so kind. You can tell he takes pride in his work.

Everyone has constantly raved about how he had everyone on the dance floor the whole night. The dance floor was not empty at any point of the evening. He was fun and entertaining, I'd love to relive that day over and over and Dave is one of the many reasons why!

I asked friends for DJ referrals after we got engaged, Dave was recommended to us by 2 different people. One was one of his grooms and the other was a guest at a wedding he had MC/DJ'd for, she said, "this guy wasn't our DJ, but I wish he had been!" We met with Dave and loved him, he was on top of everything and knew all things wedding. Over the next year we touched base a few times and I loved getting to read his blog after every wedding he had. We also attended his Wedding U that he does with a few other vendors to help couples to prepare and plan for their day. As our wedding day got closer I got more and more confident in our choice with Dave. We had our planning meeting and he was on top of it! He listened to everything we wanted and helped us decide on things we weren't sure of. His expertise was so wonderful to have. He asked questions about so many different things to give us a very personalized reception. He did the music for both our ceremony and reception and it all went without issue. As with all weddings of course things didn't go perfectly (none of our hiccups were from Dave at all) and He just went with it and adjusted our schedule accordingly. He was so fantastic.
Before, during, and after our wedding Dave was not just a great choice for our MC/DJ, he was the BEST CHOICE.

When choosing the DJ for our wedding it was imperative that the music be versatile, fun and most importantly that our DJ be exciting and outgoing. With that being said, Dave Mancini was our man! From our first meeting with Dave, it was evident that Dave listened to everything that we wanted and our concerns. He helped us imagine our wonderful day and it all fell in place as visioned. On our second meeting, Dave diligently planned our day, minute by minute, song by song. We were weary about not having a wedding coordinator but with Dave's plan, there was absolutely no need for one. Dave kept us all on schedule and most importantly he got all of our guest dancing and having a good night all night. If we could do it all over again we would pick Dave Mancini all over! We highly, highly recommend him!

Dave has been doing DJ/MC services since I was a pre-teen and I'm now 31. He used to do it for our youth group events and I have always had an absolute blast with Dave running the music! He is very interactive with his audience and is truly an entertainer. When I got engaged, there was no one else I wanted to do my wedding. I knew if Dave was amazing 15+ years ago, he would blow everyone's socks off now! He truly exceeded my expectations. His charisma, quick wit, attention to detail, punctuality, creativity and organizational skills had become so refined, he is a true professional. He asked us questions about each other and our parents, and MEMORIZED our answers to use as introductions for our dances. I've been to 10+ weddings and have never seen that before! He is flexible with what you want. I know, because my vision was very outside of the box. He kept everything on time the day of the wedding and kept in contact with my photographer to accomldate her working hours. People are still raving about how my wedding was the best one they've been to, and I owe it to Dave! Someone said he didn't even dance at his own wedding, and he was dancing the whole time at mine. He had people climbing on their chairs dancing! He got EVERYONE on their feet, and got people who didnt know each other; to interact and become friends! If you want your guests to have a time that will not be forgotten, hire Dave. The man is worth every penny! Thank you SO MUCH Dave for the best day of my life!

I'm a pretty reserved person and don't like to toot my own horn usually, but my wedding was "the best wedding ever" and Dave was largely responsible. He was completely willing to work with our vision of what we wanted and we wisely followed his recommendations on how to seamlessly flow from one part of the reception to the other. He used his secret techniques to make sure that all willing and able people were on the dance floor at ALL times.

If you want a professional who keeps things running smoothly and butts on the dance floor, then Dave is your guy.

Dave is Amazing!!!!! Our wedding was so much more than we anticipated. From the moment that my husband and I met Dave we knew we wanted to work with him. Any questions so I had were answered right away. Dave, we had the most amazing night....Thank you.

From the first time I spoke with Dave on the phone, I had a good feeling about how smooth things were going to go with our MC/DJ. His responsiveness to phone calls and emails was amazing and every email he sent felt personal and felt like I was talking with a friend who was looking out for us. He is detailed, professional, and honest about his services and experiences and he helped us get organized to make our day run smoothly and stress-free. When you book Dave, you're getting more than a DJ who shows up and plays music. He helped us plan our reception, kept our guests partying all night, and handled every request we had big or small for the ceremony and reception. I can't recommend him enough if you're looking for an MC/DJ.

Dave was the best DJ anybody could ask for. From his thorough communication to his competitive pricing he's the real deal! He's so organized and our wedding just flowed so well. He really personalized everything and worked great with our coordinator. Everybody was dancing all night long! Working with Dave was one of the most enjoyable parts of the wedding planning process, if we ever need a DJ for an event again we won't hesitate to call him! Thanks again Dave for such a memorable evening!

Dave was FANTASTIC and he made our wedding SO much fun! My husband and I love to drink, dance, and have a good time and it was important to us that our guests have a good time as well. I was very stressed when trying to pick a DJ/MC because I feel they can make or break a wedding; Dave definitely MADE our wedding! His ideas of how things should flow were unique. He was also completely open to our ideas, and helped them to be even more creative. The night couldn't have been more perfect, with our friends and family not only out on the dance floor, but staying on the dance floor! Even when it started to sprinkle outside the party continued. Aside from knowing how to start the party (and keep the party going), Dave is also very sweet and professional. We HIGHLY recommend Dave to DJ your wedding, you will be so happy you did!

Dave was awesome and totally made our wedding a party! He got everyone up and moving, even my husband's grandma. He was very organized, detailed and a pleasure to deal with. I was a lil scared hiring a DJ that I had not been to a wedding with but I am so glad I found him because I am going to recommend him to everyone I know who might be looking for a DJ. He made sure to incorporate all of our music and added a couple awesome twists of his own.
I highly recommend him for your wedding - you won't be disappointed!

Where do I start? Dave was a blast to work with from the beginning. He's extremely professional and always keeps on top of things. Dave was more of a planner than our actual wedding planner and we were so grateful for that. He made sure that everything panned out smoothly and everyone at the wedding had an awesome time! Thanks again, Dave! We're sad that the wedding is over but you're the best and we hope to see you again at our friends' weddings!

An awesome DJ that doesn't just dj but honestly keeps the party going. He MC's and keeps everyone on in order as the ceremony goes along, which also great with timing when have to rent out a venue.

I don't even know where to start with how happy we are with Dave! I was referred to Dave by another couple that used him for their wedding, and he could not be any better! He helps you plan the entire reception, down to every detail of the schedule and even emails the schedule to all your vendors so everyone is on the same page. What a gigantic help that was!

We also went over what type of music we did and did not want to hear. Our guests were really impressed with how much they loved every song that came on. Not one single song cleared the dance floor. It was full the entire night!

Dave does an ice breaker to get the party started that our entire wedding had a blast with! He got all 170 guests PACKED onto our dance floor! SO many guests were saying they've never seen every guest on the dance floor at a wedding before, but Dave made it happen! He really engaged our guests, and they ended up loving him just as much as we do! We got to enjoy our reception and not worry about a thing, because we knew Dave had everything covered.
