User1203872 Sent on 06/17/2013As the daughter of a photographer, I am sooooooo picky about my photography, so it was vital that I had THE best photographer in my area to my wedding. I immediately thought that danielle cover photography NEEDED to photograph my wedding. I was surprised to have not one but 2 photographers for the day. Ms. Cover was willing to travel from my "getting ready" place in Bel Air to my venue in Columbia with no hesitation. Both photographers were so accommodating to my bridal lateness and smoothly adjusted pictures and schedules to make sure we could get everything done in the time allotted. Ms. Cover's professionalism was a huge help in my stress of getting ready, as she calmed me down with words and took pictures at the same time, capturing every detail. My wedding was 3 months ago and people still come up to me ranting and raving about my pictures. I even had another photographer friend, who'd I'd asked to take pictures earlier, say to me, "I'm glad I didn't do your photography because your pictures are beautiful!" danielle cover photography made my low-budget wedding look like a million bucks with these exquisite photos! I am forever grateful!! -

Isabell Sent on 10/15/2011David and I met with Danielle and immediately loved her work. We decided to do a engagement shoot with her last fall, and the photos turned out amazing. To this day, my friends comment on how much they love our engagement pictures, and I have referred Danielle to many of them when they were looking for a professional photographer.
Danielle is a true artist and super easygoing with a great sense of humor. I have looked at a lot of wedding pictures over the past years from seeing friends and family getting married, and David and I checked out several other photographers and their work, and I have not seen anybody who captures moments and idiosyncrasies the way that Danielle does it. I have probably looked at all of her work from the past year on her blog, including wedding pictures, engagement shots, family pictures, etc., and I am always in awe how each picture captures everybody’s energy and the overall atmosphere.
Needless to say that our wedding pictures are absolutely fantastic! David and I put a lot of work into making our church ceremony and potluck wedding reception for 140 people very personal to celebrate community and family, and Danielle captured it all.
If you are looking for a photographer to truly capture you and your special day, you cannot go wrong with choosing Danielle. Just check out her work on her blog - it speaks for itself. I know that when I need professional pictures again for other events in the future, I will go with Danielle every single time.

She worked within our budget, gave us different options to help us find what package we could get, and was honest and upfront about everything. She is met with us ahead of time, offered us an engagement/getting to know you session with our wedding package, showed up early on the day of the wedding, and stayed until the very end. She has a ton of experience working with kids and took some beautiful pictures of our children. She is very good about making you feel comfortable with her, and compliments you just enough to keep you smiling and feeling and looking the best you can. We are both camera shy and Danielle was great at sneaking pictures and being "invisible" so she could capture the "real moments" She was friendly and funny; we could see ourselves going out for a drink with her! But also very professional and dedicated to her work. She stayed focused and calm and instructed a very large wedding party where and how to stand, went out of her way to make sure I stood at flattering angles, and gave us a great mixture of fun, romantic, artistic, and dramatic pictures in a timely fashion. The pictures are OUTSTANDING. Couldn't be happier with the results. We LOVED working with Danielle and her assistant Karon and plan on using her when we take our family portraits. We have already and will continue to recommend Danielle to everyone we know. You will not be sorry!danielle cover photography's reply:

I can't imaging having anyone else take my wedding photos, I only wish that I lived close enough to have had more sessions with her in person! We planned from 600 miles away, and Danielle agreed to meet with me via Skype, phone, and email. She's very responsive and just a pleasure to work with!
Her style is laid-back, artistic, journalistic, and out-and-out GORGEOUS. Her composition is brilliant, she chooses interesting settings for her shots. Colors are rich and vibrant, and the focus is crystal-clear. Her photos are not the over-produced, soft-focus, selective-color cheese you get from so many photographers. She was very inventive with the formal photos - I didn't want to have overly-posed, stuffy pictures and she did a great job of cheerfully directing everyone to take off their shoes and stick their feet in the pool, etc. She scouted out my venue and found an amazing old building across the street for our photos. She emailed me sneak-peek images THE SAME DAY so I could post them online before we left for our honeymoon! Truly stellar service, creativity, personality, and talent. She even brought some of her own costume props to add to my DIY photo booth! I really can't say enough about her, I feel like I made a new friend when I asked her to work with me. Ashley Sent on 07/19/2011I wish I could find the words to properly express how grateful I am to Danielle for such a wonderful experience. Not only is her work positively stunning and emotional, but she is absolutely wonderful to work with. From consultation to wedding day, she was professional, but so personable. During sessions, she was so organic with crating shots and at the wedding itself, she was able to capture such amazing candid moments. She even brought a second shooter to the wedding (who also did a wonderful job) for no extra charge.
I also cannot say enough about the value of her packages. Even as a very budget-conscious bride, I choose to go with her top tier package (which is worth every cent). On the day of the wedding, she was with me from 11 am until 10:30 when I took off for my Honeymoon. Additionally, I get my photo album and 2 additional sessions (engagement and thrash the dress).

She showed up almost an hour early, she was very good at controlling the crowd for our group shots, she looked very nice and professional at the wedding, and after the wedding she sent me an email at like 2am with a bunch of photos that she had already edited!!!! I would recommend her to everyone!

My experience with Danielle was wonderful from start to finish. She was artistic, had great suggestions I had not even considered that made our photos spectacular, was incredibly responsive and attentive, and provided the kind of customer service that I am not even accustomed to receiving. In fact, calling it "customer service" sounds awfully cold... I consider Danielle a friend! She was also very efficient and effective on the day of the wedding, carrying herself with the utmost professionalism. She took pictures that look like they were taken out of a storybook.
Danielle has a very, very unique talent for capturing the true essence of a moment or a person in a picture. The emotions she captures are real, and all of my family and friends cannot stop raving about our wedding photos. The moments she captured will ensure that our memories truly do last a lifetime. Bravo!!!!!
Don't get married without Danielle as your photographer! =)
