Dani is an artist!!

Dani’s website mentioned that if you are awkward in your photos, she’s the photographer for you. She was soooooo right!! I’ve never liked a candid photo of myself, ever. Our wedding photos are the most breathtaking pictures. Dani fit in with everyone and knew exactly how to get every individuals personality to shine for pictures. Our crowd is a little rowdy & unfiltered, Dani never batted an eye & kept rolling with us. Every photo shines of the beautiful day it was and I could not be more grateful to have chosen her for this once in a lifetime moment. Thank you so much Dani!

Dani was our FAVORITE vendor!!!

Dani was my absolute favorite vendor for my wedding, no contest (and I loved all of my vendors!). I really can't express how happy I am that we chose her to capture our day. She was everything we could have wanted and more, because she doesn't just give you the most incredible photos you'll ever take, she also holds your hand and provides the biggest sense of support and relief throughout the entire process!

She completely blew us away from our first consultation with her. She has the most beautiful, vibrant, and funny personality! She was the person on my wedding day that gave me the most comfort and ease, because she knows exactly what she's doing and she will advocate for what you want and need, all while keeping you laughing and smiling! That energy is so valuable for anyone on their wedding day, but especially for people who feel awkward in front of camera (or have family members who stress them out!!).

She also was the expert in the room who kept us on schedule! She worked so well and proactively with our other vendors to coordinate throughout the day. Everyone in the industry loves her just as much! When I told my other vendors who I was working with, they all said "Oh, yay! We love working with Dani!"

I could only select a few out of the hundreds of amazing photos for this review, but I think these are some good examples of what she can do. The photos we got FELT like our wedding day. Her eye for angles, the way she edits, all of the little moments that she captured that I had forgotten about--I am entirely reliving the day every time I look at them. And yet, I didn't feel like I spent a lot of time taking photos overall. She's efficient because she wants you to enjoy your wedding, not just pose for photos all day. I'm so, so grateful. I could write a book on why you should hire her. Do yourself a favor, and work with her for your wedding. You'll be so glad you did!

Cannot recommend Dani enough!!

We cannot say enough positive things about Dani from Dani Leigh Photography and Jonathan from Your Story Told! We hired them for our wedding that took place May 17, 2025 and everything about the experience of working with them - from our initial call to the engagement shoot to the planning process to our wedding - was so fun, exciting, and easy. Their vibe is exactly what you want on your wedding day - confident, relaxed, positive, and an infectious energy that will have you and everyone else at ease and bring out nothing but natural joy in your photos and videos. The albums and videos they delivered for our engagement shoot and wedding are everything we could have ever wanted and more, perfectly capturing the love and energy from our day. We literally can’t stop looking at and watching them! We would recommend them in a heartbeat. They are beyond good and completely blew us away.

10/10! You Won't Regret Working with Dani

Honestly, if you're on this page looking for a wedding photographer, stop your search now and just go with Dani. We couldn't be happier with our decision to have her capture our wedding day. Just take a look at all the 5-star review. Results are in and it's unanimous: she's absolutely amazing.

From our initial consultation, we knew she was the perfect fit. You can see from her portfolio that she is ridiculous talented, but as soon as we spoke with her it was obvious that she is one of the sweetest, most fun people to be around. She was always responsive throughout the planning process, and on the big day she was prompt, professional, and an absolute joy to be around. Her warm and outgoing personality made it so easy for everyone to relax in front of the camera, and she blended in seamlessly with our guests (my mom was amazing, noting that she didn't even see her that day and doesn't know how she got so many fantastic candid shots). So many of our friends and family have commented on how much they enjoyed interacting with her, and you can see it in the photos -- genuine, beautiful moments captured flawlessly.

Oh, and did I mention her soon-to-be husband was the second photographer that day? He's a videographer and they do incredible packages for couples looking to capture every moment of their wedding day. Talk about a power couple. I'm going to be tracking their big day closer than the royal wedding.

At this point, the cake has been eaten, the champagne has been drunk, the flowers have wilted, but these photos will last forever and thanks to Dani, we have the most stunning images to relive our wedding day for the rest of our lives. Thank you for giving us the most beautiful memories of our wedding day!

Best Decision Ever!

Hiring Dani was the best decision ever! We were worried that we may feel awkward in front of the camera, but Dani has a way of making you relax and be natural. Plus she is so funny, so we were just laughing and having a good time! On the wedding day, all the pictures didn't feel like a chore like I thought it would. It was so much fun because of Dani! We got our photos back SO quickly and there are so many amazing pictures from our big day I can't even narrow down which ones to frame!! We are so so happy. THANK YOU DANI

Best Photographer for Camera-Shy Couples!! :)

My husband and I booked Dani for our courthouse wedding and we could not recommend her (and Jonathon) enough! We are usually very awkward and nervous when it comes to photos, but Dani made it so effortless and easy. It felt like we were just hanging out and having so much fun!

Dani and Jonathon were there to demonstrate poses if we needed it, but overall it was an organic experience and at no point did it feel like a task to be out there taking photos. The two hour session flew by!

Our photos of our special day truly encapsulate us as a couple and I’m so in love with them. If you’re thinking about booking, do it!!

Hire Dani Leigh as your wedding photographer - she's the best!

Dani is phenomenal - plain and simple! She was professional and detail-oriented while also being fun and easygoing. She helped make our day enjoyable and stress free! You want someone you can laugh with on your big day, but also someone who is organized and on top of it -- she is both. We loved that she got the posed photos that we wanted but also made us feel so comfortable/at ease that she got many lighthearted and candid ones too.

In the lead up to wedding day, we had a call or two with her to make sure our timeline and shot list were perfect, and she was really helpful in making sure we built in enough buffer time to not be stressed.

We ultimately did a 12-hour package + engagement photos with her and have no regrets. The engagement session was a great way to get to know each other. Then for our wedding weekend, she came for 10 hours of the actual wedding day and 2 hours for our welcome drinks the night before. We are so glad we did it this way, because now we have photos from Friday and Saturday!

We just got our full album, and our friends and family can't stop gushing about how amazing our photos are and how well Dani captured the entire weekend. We are so thrilled!

The BEST photographer

Dani is the best photographer! I’m a bride who has never had professional photos taken before this. Dani made me feel so comfortable, and she is hilarious! Camera-Shy to Model Vibes

We cannot thank Dani Leigh enough for making models out of two of the most camera-shy people in existence! My husband and I both usually feel uncomfortable in front of the camera but Dani's charming nature, kindness, and witty humor allowed us to open up and truly enjoy taking our wedding photos. We almost can't believe that we look so confident on film! Not only are the photos Dani took absolutely stunning, but they truly capture all the love and joy that made our wedding day so special. Amazing - the best!

Stop looking and book Dani now!! She is an amazing photographer (obviously) but she’s so much more. You spend your whole wedding day with your photographer so why not choose someone who can make you laugh and capture every candid moment?! Dani made sure to get the traditional wedding photos but also captured so much emotion and joy on our big day. I have endless favorites from our album and love that our personality and the personalities of our guests come through in each photo. Dani knows what she’s doing and will make your day FUN! Dani, the long lost family member you did not know about!

Everything about Dani stood out to us during our search for a wedding photographer. We loved how her photos captured the joy of the people in them and her editing was so natural and bright. She was prompt to answer our inquiry and she set up a virtual meeting and we chatted for over an hour. She was transparent about her contract and terms and that others were seeking the same date as us. Dani, you were the easiest vendor to book and I know this won't be our last time using you. Every interaction with you was so encouraging, which is especially necessary for a nervous couple navigating planning the biggest party of their life! Dani's company was so refreshing and positive. Dani was amazing to work with!!! I would absolutely recommend her as your wedding photographer!! DANI IS THE BEST EVER!! The second we met Dani for our engagement photos it felt like we’d been friends forever. Amazing!

On behalf of my husband and I, we were INCREDIBLY thankful and impressed by Dani as our wedding photographer. She did so much for us in over 2 years of planning to help make our wedding weekend the most perfect.

Going into our engagement and starting the wedding planning process I knew that photos would be the most important thing for me and I wanted to find a photographer that was easy to work with, and would make me feel at ease on the wedding day. We can definitely say that we found the best wedding photographer on the planet. From our engagement photo session, I immediately felt relaxed and felt like we could have fun taking photos when I usually am very worried and don't feel like I photograph well. We had so much fun on our engagement shoot day that I knew the wedding would be even better, and I was right. I was in my head worrying about our first look and the weather and Dani came in like a total pro, had scouted out a bunch of photo locations, and totally put my mind at ease when she was able to command attention from the wedding party and always knew what we were doing next.

She has such a perfect personality for working in the wedding industry and is overall a great human being. She has a phenomenal eye for photography and our wedding photos turned about amazing.

She went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our day incredibly perfect and I know we are going to have amazing memories to look back on for the rest of our lives thanks to Dani's amazing photos.

Stop Looking and Hire Dani Now!

Since the day we hired Dani, she was more than our photographer. She became our friend, as evidenced by my maid of honor saying on our wedding day, "your photographer is like both your friend!" Since we hired she took the time to get to know us during calls and over social media. We love Dani and would hire her 1M times over, she was the best energy on our wedding day. The best wedding photographer!!

Dani was absolutely incredible to work with. She was so much fun and made all our photos turn out so beautifully and naturally us! Dani also made the trip up to NYC to shoot our micro-wedding last year on our original wedding date, while our larger family gathering was postponed to 2022 due to Covid. We LOVE Dani! She is now our Lifetime Photographer!

There are too many things to say to sum up Dani. She's sensational. The moment you meet Dani, you can't help but adore her infectious laughter and warm personality. She is so easy to connect with and wants to be part of the experience but in the best way possible. She blends right in and gets the most authentic photos you could hope for. Our wedding planning and events (yes, plural) had a lot of issues out of our control. But I will NEVER forget calling Dani sobbing when our venue canceled our wedding (also out of their control); she was in Home Depot with her children, took my call on a free weekend (RARE sacred occasion for her!), and calmed me down by assuring me we would make the new date work. And she did! She was with us every step of the way. My husband and I cherish her and her work, and we've found our photographer for life. Choosing Dani means you are choosing someone who will make you feel beautiful and confident inside and out. She is the best person and vendor we could have found. Now we need more life occasions to occur, so we have an excuse to spend time with her! Honestly, the most incredible photographer ever; we LOVE Dani!

Unbelievable Photographer

Dani was amazing throughout our whole wedding process and even after. I found Dani through another photographer who had been booked up, and wow- best move I ever made. She was easy to talk to and listened to every silly thing we said with full attention. Our wedding day was chaotic with a huge snowstorm and covid concerns but Dani navigated the whole day with shocking ease and made the most of our mess. I cannot recommend Dani enough and I hope that she remains a friend as well as my go to photographer for life events.

So. Much. Fun.

You take a ton of pictures on your wedding day so you might as well have a blast while you do it. Dani was a blast to be with. My husband and I both were slightly nervous to have our pictures taken and literally ended the night begging her to be friends with us forever. Even our bridal party commented on how much fun she was. Not only will she make you belly laugh, but will capture you and your significant other perfectly. We both agree that she will be our “forever photographer” - for future life events, family portraits, etc. Our photos are so genuinely he and I and I love them so much.

The best choice!

Choosing Dani to photograph my weddings (our small COVID wedding and our larger wedding celebration) was my best wedding decision, besides picking my husband. She is experienced, efficient, fun! She gets all the photos you want and makes formal and family photos feel natural and quick. The best part was getting my photos back. A must hire

Dani is probably the best decision we made for our wedding day! She is an absolute delight to work with and she will be doing all my big-life-moments photos for years to come. Friendly & Fun!

Dani was a fantastic photographer for our micro wedding! From our first Zoom chat all the way through delivery of the gallery, she was helpful, communicative, and super friendly. She captured beautiful moments during our small ceremony and made us feel comfortable posing and goofing around afterwards. Dani was able to snap shots of everyone in a very natural way, and even as she stayed nearby the whole time, it almost seemed like she wasn’t there (except during our more posed photos where she got us chatting such that we didn’t even feel posed!). The best there is

I cannot recommend Dani enough. She not only takes the most beautiful photos, but she also makes you feel so comfortable throughout the process. She uses humor to make any photo shoot fun, yet she manages to capture both initimate and personality photos.

Dani was also a dream to work with when it came to rescheduling my wedding. She was flexible and make the switch to a new date as simple as possible.

Dani is also extremely professional and prompt. She arrived early and made sure she captured all the important photos my family wanted.

Book Dani Immediately

Dani is absolutely incredible. COVID-19 caused us to cancel our international wedding, and we ended up planning a backyard wedding in 4 weeks time. I feel SO lucky and grateful that Dani was available for our wedding. For a bride with little time to plan, she was super responsive and so flexible and helpful when we were considering delaying our wedding due to rain (fortunately the skies were clear!) I chose Dani for her fun, relaxed vibe and aesthetic that captured real moments - and emotion behind the picture - and boy did she deliver. The photos are amazing, warm, authentic, and she captured the colorful fairytale that I wanted perfectly. She made us feel super comfortable and relaxed, and we had a blast taking pictures with her. I can't recommend her enough, and can't wait to work with her again :)

Stunning pictures!

I knew I wanted to hire Dani as soon as I saw her work on her website. She is so warm and friendly and works quickly and efficiently to capture everyone's personality. My husband can be really shy and she worked to make him comfortable so that we could finally get pictures of him smiling. We got a few pictures the day after our wedding and received so so many compliments about her work. I cannot imagine having hired another photographer.

Beautiful photos and we had a blast!

Dani was the absolute best and we loved, loved working with her! She is down to earth and so easy to work with and her photos were just beautiful. My husband and I both loved the idea of doing engagement and wedding photoshoots and wanted great photos, but were worried it would be awkward at first! But nope! Dani make us feel super comfortable and made us laugh, and captured our most genuine moments and we are so sad it's over!! Awesome Photographer!

My daughter selected Dani Leigh Photography to photograph her wedding.
Photography is probably the only area where past performance is on full display to allow an independent, personal assessment of style and creativity. There are many great photographers, and once you narrow it down to the true artists, it literally comes down to: you know it when you see it. That was the case with Dani. In discussions, it was obvious that she was as personable as she was professional. Our daughter and her fiancé first met Dani for the engagement shoot at Patapsco State Park. They immediately clicked and Dani picked perfect settings. The next meeting was on the day of the wedding. Dani mixed right in with everyone, and somehow she was always at the right place at the right time from early morning at the Marriott until the very late in the evening at The Peabody Library. It was clear that she enjoys being creative in the way she setup and captured the very emotional first look and all the fun as the wedding parties met for the first time. It also seems obvious that she took full advantage of the full capability of her state-of-the-art equipment in capturing not just the highlights, but the essence of the entire day. Of particular importance are poses captured upon the wedding party’s arrival and advance look at the reception setting, which stunningly captured all the elation amidst the unequalled elegance of The Peabody. Since that is something that only the wedding party took part in, pictures are critical, and Dani nailed it!

Best decision ever

Dani is the most incredible person and on top of that takes the most amazing photos. She was my Everything on my wedding day, from keeping me away from being swarmed by family and friends so I could take in the moments, to bustling my dress in the wind. Everyone tells you the day goes by in the blink of an eye, and oh my is that more than true. Reviewing the photos from our wedding day filled us with joy, they were... beyond words, just pure emotion. As a bride you don’t see much, if any of the ceremony, thanks to Dani, we did. We see how beautiful and proud our bridal party, friends and family were and the love we shared with them. We have incredible memories to last us a lifetime, and can feel the love and happiness come through every photo, we cannot thank her enough.

Absolutely stunning photos and such a pleasure to work with!

Dani and her photos are absolutely incredible! She did an outstanding job of capturing all of the joy and love of our wedding day in such beautiful ways. She was such a pleasure to work with too. She’s super funny and also provides a wonderfully calm presence when you start to feel things get a bit hectic! More importantly, she took time to get to know us and made sure our photos captured everyone’s personalities and our relationship so genuinely. She worked so easily alongside our videographer too, which made things easier for us. And the quality of her photos are just amazing. I haven’t been able to stop looking through the photos since she sent them - they draw you in with all of the beautiful lighting, emotion and color that she captures. I will absolutely be recommending her to anyone I know getting married in the future!

You NEED to hire Dani!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dani. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. It started when I met with her prior to booking a photographer. We ended up sitting and talking for two hours! It felt like I was sitting and talking with an old friend. I immediately knew that she was the one we wanted tagging along with us on our wedding day. We could not have made a better choice. Next, she was able to help me convince my fiancé to do engagement photos (that he did not want to do!). She made him feel so at ease that he even said he had fun when we were finished! The results were amazing. When it came to our wedding day, I knew that Dani would have no problem winning over our groomsmen (who can be a bit curmudgeonly, especially about the idea of taking photos). I was 100% correct. She got so many completely genuine smiles and laughs out our of them. They still talk about how much they liked her over a month out from our wedding! Not only is she a kind, funny, friendly, and all around awesome human being; she is an amazingly talented photographer. Each one of her photos is spectacular. She really has a talent for capturing photos that really speak to the personality of the subject (e.g. not stiff or posed). The result is natural looking, beautiful photos that you can treasure forever. We LOVE Dani and would hire her 1000 times over.

The most amazing human

I've left writing Dani's review for last because I've been actually unable to imagine being able to capture how phenomenal she is in one small review. Where do you even start??
From the very beginning we were nervous about pictures (we're not big picture takers most of the time) but right away during our first Facetime interview we knew everything would be fine and we were in perfect hands. She was so flexible about traveling for our engagement photos, coping with a rain reschedule and when the day finally arrived dealing with some super awkward nervous gigglers. She managed in a park full of visitors to capture stunning photos that make it look like we were the only people there and we had the most amazing time doing it!
I was pretty sure nothing could get better and then the wedding happened. Not only did she capture every perfect moment of my sister shoving too much sandwich in her mouth and lay on the ground in the way of a wandering crocodile but she was literally the only person I wanted to interact with the first 15 minutes after we arrived at the venue when I was pretty sure I was going to throw up and explode all at one time. Not only was Dani perfect but her second shooter was equally fun and personable and easy going - the perfect person to take pictures of a crew of boys who were only partially on board with the picture thing.
Not only are we totally in love with her but by the end of the day so were our families. She was so quick to remember everyone's names, and put everyone at ease. She is equal parts funny and relaxed but also firm enough to get everyone into place and the obligatory formal photos out of the way so you can go enjoy your party. She deftly handled a couple awkward family dynamics like they were nothing and everyone came out of it feeling comfortable (not a small task).
I could keep going on forever but the conclusion is the same which is you'd be completely crazy not to have her as both your photographer and your new best friend.

Dani was amazing!!!

We are SO happy we hired Dani. We had so much fun with her during our engagement pics and the day of our wedding. She kept me calm while we were getting ready and kept both my husband and I laughing the entire day! Obsessed with Dani

OHMYGOSH HIRE DANI! Wow I don't know where to start... Dani is the most amazing human ever and so talented. We just received our wedding photos back (in less than a month!) and we are in awe. They are so beautifully edited and she captured some of the most stunning moments. She is so, so experienced, which is exactly what you need in a photographer. She moves things along so quickly because she knows what she's doing and what shots she needs, there's no standing around waiting for pictures, wondering who's up next. Most importantly, she is absolutely hilarious and will keep you laughing all day long. There is not a single picture where our smiles look fake or bored or over it. My husband and I loved spending time with her, which made pictures SO fun. She does a really great job of getting so many different backgrounds, settings, poses, etc., which is exactly what I wanted because I need options! She's just the absolute best, worth every single penny. Going to sound so incredibly cheesy but I genuinely think of her as more of a friend now than just a photographer. Perfect Wedding Photographer - Awesome Human

Dani was our dream wedding photographer before we even booked her. When we found out she had our date available, Jason and I were over the moon! (We were already in that part of the solar system with our disgustingly gross mushy love, so it was nice to stay stellar).
So many people look at the pictures, but not the PERSON, when booking. I assure you, the pictures Dani delivered were WAY above our highest expectations. (Tear-jerking, grin-inspiring, laugh-inducing, day-reliving, perfection over here). But you should book her because she is the PERSON you will want by your side for this one-time-only day, (Plus, you know, your fiancé, he/she is pretty important, too...).
Dani is fun-loving, professional, and kind. You will want this in moment like:
A. When your pregnant bridesmaid whips out a big-ol Chipotle burrito from her purse and Dani is not only there to capture it, but also to rib her the entire day about it, causing genuine smiles in your bridal party pictures.
B. When NO ONE IN THE ENTIRE GROOMSMEN PARTY knows how to put on their boutonnieres, that were lost and found again exactly 5 minutes before the ceremony, and Dani leaps into action like a flower-pinning ninja, just in time to save the day and snap some much-needed shots.
C. When time is short, and you wanted certain pics. (Yes, it all flies by just as fast as everyone says it will). Dani is the one to jump in and get those precious pictures, PLUS do the "cat-herding" that is required to make it happen, all with a smile and a laugh.

Dani makes jokes while she is making magic. She truly is the fun photographer. Spend your special day with some one who is not only a pretty famous/#bigdeal/totally talented/ local legend in the wedding industry, but who is also a genuinely great human.

Best wedding photographer

"Dani for president." "Did she take photos or did she just hang out with us all day?" "Do you think she wants to be our friend?" - Actual quotes from my bridesmaids. Dani's beautiful photos speak for themselves (love the classic, timeless look and she's so good at candid shots too) but what makes her your best wedding choice is her personality! Your photographer is with you all day and I'm so glad we went with Dani. She was early, hilarious, and basically a second wedding coordinator. The groomsmen raved about her second shooter as well. Dani Leigh. Is. Magic!
When we first met with her in the "preliminary photographer hunt" phase our wedding planning, we absolutely fell in love with her. We spent an hour just talking and laughing before we even started discussing wedding photography. We left the meeting knowing that we had found "the one" and not-so-secretly hoping we'd become best friends with her. Her work is also amazing. Dani is the best of the best! Not only does she play the role of photographer, but also planner, advisor, counselor, and friend. I am absolutely out of adjectives when it comes to describing the extraordinary, astounding, phenomenal service provided by Dani Leigh. (Ok so I found a few more)
Here's the thing...photography is an art. It takes a certain innate degree of artistic talent, an eye for beauty, paired with the dedication and commitment to study and craft your skill. Dani has this in spades, of course, but that's not what makes her the Worlds Greatest Wedding Photographer.

Humor, organization, precision, drive, communication, love for her job, a caring disposition... did I mention Humor.
She embodies the idea that she described to us upon our first interview.( And we interviewed several) Her job is to keep everyone happy and joyful throughout the wedding and to capture the beautiful natural moments that result from this. She interacted with our entire wedding party. She was in sync with the DJ. She was on the same page as the officiant and coordinator. Her incredible organization put us completely at ease and kept the mood playful and stress free.

Dani was amazing from beginning to end! We met with her and immediately knew we would be booking her services. She was extremely helpful in helping us get the most for our package and also helped us choose other vendors! She was always responsive and professional. Each session she always made sure we were having fun which made the planning process easy and enjoyable. My husband and I feel like we are extremely awkward in photos but Dani assured us it would be totally fine - and it was. She helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera and the photos turned out perfect, even with the extreme winds that day. The day of the wedding, she made sure to capture every important moment and helped keep the day feeling less stressful! She kept us laughing and enjoying each moment throughout the entire day. I first fell in love with Dani Leigh through a photo. It was from our friend Lauren & Eric's wedding -- they had a horrible snow storm that almost cancelled the event, but Dani captured this stunning photo of the two of them out in the show together. It was incredible. And we didn't even meet Dani then.

Fast forward 6 months later, we finally met in person -- and it was NO question that we would have Dani for our own wedding! She made us laugh from day one - and we had a BALL even just doing our engagement photoshoot. She has had me floored with great service from the very beginning. When we finished our engagement photoshoot (on a Sunday) she said she would have the photos to us in about 2 weeks - which I thought was great. The next day we had a sneak peek photo on FB, then a blog post on Tuesday, and by Wednesday that same week we had the ENTIRE photoshoot spread! it was sooo exciting!

Fast forward to our actual wedding day, I gave Dani our itinerary, and she was still there 30 minutes early, totally her style :D Dani is not the kind of person you need to "give directions" or list of photos that you need and want --- she just knows, and gets them all. I knew I'm a big stictler for pictures of details - so that morning I "gave her all my stuff" and she created amazing photos of all our fun little details. Not only that, Dani handled all of our day's moving pieces with grace, laughs, and lots of smile. Her 3 person team was sooo flexible and accommodating with our large party. And when it started to THUNDERFLOOD -- she didn't flinch one bit. In fact, she still begged us to run across our venue's property to take more photos under a beautiful shelter.

Dani and her team are completely amazing and more than flexible -- none of us expected the terrible storm that we did, and I honestly thought we would not get enough photos since we were late to our church ceremony. But she still had us crying when we received our photos 3 weeks later. Thank you Dani!!!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Dani Leigh Photography! From beginning to end, Dani was responsive and professional, while at the same time incredibly fun to work with. It is easy to get bogged down in the stress of wedding planning, but Dani takes all of the stress away with regard to the photography (and if you like 90's rap and slow jams, she's your gal ;). Both my husband and I can be awkward in pictures, but she made us feel completely comfortable and it shows in all of our photos! The photos were back to us three weeks after the wedding and they are incredible. She captured all of the fun moments of the day, including many that we weren't able to witness. I cannot articulate enough how wonderful it is to work with Dani. From the very beginning, she was professional, honest, talented, and fun! I felt at ease with her almost immediately, and I knew she was not only going to capture our day in a beautiful way, but also that she was going to make the entire experience enjoyable. When we worked with her for our engagement photos, we had so much fun, and the pictures were beyond stunning. We haven't gotten our pictures back, our wedding was only 3 days ago, but Dani is the most amazing photographer I have ever had the pleasure to meet and work with. She knew exactly what to do and what pictures to take. From the pictures she had shown me on her camera, they're going to be AMAZING. Dani did both our wedding and engagement photos,.
Both sets were stunning, the photos we received far surpassed our expectations.
Dani is such a fun and an inventive person, all the smiles on the photos were genuine as she would always say something to get everyone smiling she made everyone feel so relaxed about a camera being present all night and the photos reflected this. The young children were doing typical kids stuff all night, yet with her patience she still managed to produce the perfect pictures.
The engagement photos were so much fun and she is that dedicated. when she saw a perfect photo opportunity she took her shoes off and waded into the lake to capture it. Because of Dani we will have these memories that will last forever, Thank you so much for everything.

I'm not quite sure how to put into words how thrilled Eric and I were with Dani...
We met her at her studio in Canton oh so long ago. We felt comfortable just chatting with her and admiring her great photo books.
Our mini photo session in Hampden was where we really got to know Dani's photography style and she did an outstanding job making us feel comfortable despite the freezing cold weather (it was January).
On our wedding day, Baltimore got 8 inches of snow!! Dani called in her amazing side-kick Anna who was able to capture all of the pre-ceremony photos. We later learned that Dani spent 5 hours commuting to be at our wedding! She arrived at the venue before the ceremony as cheerful as ever. The photos we have from that day are magical and captured our winter wedding flawlessly!
Our guests still comment about the pictures since we were able to easily share them with everyone.
That's the very brief review of Dani Leigh Photography...but I will say that if you are looking for more than a wedding or life photographer, we would highly recommend Dani!!

I can't say enough about Dani Leigh Photography!!! I live out of town and planned my wedding from afar, so all correspondence with Dani was via phone or email. Despite my many questions, concerns, and freak-outs along the way, Dani remained calm and patient. She went out of her way to proactively connect with my other vendors to solidify a timeline for our all of the special moments that were taking place on our wedding day. Our first in-person meet was the day of our wedding, and it felt as if we were long time friends who had known each other forever. Aside from her kind heart, warm spirit and funny sense of humor, Dani was accommodating, patient, and had a true creative eye. We had such a fun time shooting with her, evidenced by our gorgeous pictures that we received less than 2 weeks after our wedding day! I have literally zero complaints about Dani. This girl is not only a mastermind photographer, but a spectacularly fun person! She adds so much to your wedding day with more than her talent, her personality lights up the room and makes you feel so at ease in front of the camera.

During and after the wedding, my entire bridal party and family were talking about how much we want Dani around all the time because she is so hilarious and fun. My husband and I had a blast at our wedding and said that we were sad it was over because we didn't have any more excuses to see Dani. She is absolutely spectacular.

Dani is very flexible as well. My husband and I lived in Oklahoma for a year before our wedding and really had to rush to fit in our engagement session before the wedding. Dani scheduled it around us in less than a week and we had a BLAST shooting with her. It made us so much more excited for the wedding day.

I can't go on enough about this vendor. You really shouldn't even consider hiring anyone else for your wedding. Dani is IT. We have already decided that Dani is our go-to photographer for the rest of our lives.

Dani is about as good as it gets when it comes to wedding photographers—she is hilarious, creative, and takes absolutely incredible wedding photos!

Dani flew down to Austin for our January wedding. We experienced some crazy cold temps (for Texas) on the day of the wedding, complete with cold, drizzly rain and huge gusts of wind that threatened to rip the veil off my head. Dani was such a trooper in the 35 degree mist, taking our bridal party photos outdoors, and keeping everybody laughing and in good spirits despite their shivers! She was super fast and efficient photographing our large bridal party (9 bridesmaids and 9 groomsmen), and did a fantastic job of posing everybody and making the pictures look natural.

I cannot even BELIEVE how gorgeous our wedding photos turned out-- Dani really went above and beyond to capture all of the little details of the day. People keep telling me the photos look like they belong in a magazine! We couldn’t have been happier with Dani as our wedding photographer.

I promise that choosing Dani Leigh will be one of your best wedding decisions. Dani exceeded my high expectations in every way, as a professional, and as a person. Every person who saw our wedding photos said that they belong in a magazine. They are classic, romantic, and natural all at once. Some look like they belong in Vogue. How she can give you all of this just speaks to her pure TALENT. It is still surreal to my husband and I that we were the center of photographs so beautiful. We still can't believe it's us! I never knew I could be as pretty and natural as she made me look and feel.

I feel like I’ve known Dani all my life. She was a friend from the first day I met her. She's the kind of person that makes your heart happy. We weren't sure we could afford her, but she was willing to work with us. Dani shot our engagement session, my boudoir shoot, and our wedding. Dani captures all the must-have shots, but also all of the candid, sweet, in-between moments too; moments sometimes you don't even remember happening, that happen just once. I am amazed at her ability to capture these. Her second shooter, Anna, worked wonderfully side by side with Dani, also getting many of these once in a lifetime shots for us.

Dani was so comforting to me on the wedding day. I was excited, overwhelmed, and so anxious I was going to cry. Of everyone there, Dani was my saving grace right then, making me breathe, laugh, drink more champagne, and remember that I was about to do the best thing I had done yet in life.

Most importantly, I was able to be totally present in every special moment because I knew I could trust Dani to capture them. When we got to see our day, through authentic photos that truly showed all of the love and emotion that was present that day, our hearts were full, our eyes teary, and we knew that these memories were worth everything. We are forever grateful that our happiest day is all right here, in front of us, for us to look at, now, and always.

If you are looking for a wedding photographer, just stop right here. Choosing Dani for my special day was the BEST decision I made throughout the entire wedding planning process. From the beginning, Dani was so fun to work with. She was extremely professional, answering all my e-mails promptly and making sure to check in with me and even helped me make my wedding day timeline. First, we received engagement photos with her package, and the whole process was so fun! I was nervous at first but by the end I felt like Dani was one of my best friends and the photos were GORGEOUS. Extremely classic, but showcased our personalities beautifully. The day of the wedding is where Dani and Anna put on their superwoman capes and make sure the bride worries about nothing! She was greeting my videographer and making sure he was set up, folding pocket squares for the boys, showing me how to carry my dress, and making sure the shuttle was arriving on schedule. She truly made the whole day flow beautifully- and I didn't stress at all knowing she was there. The photos were returned extremely prompt and were absolutely beautiful. She truly captured all the emotions of the entire night. Plus, there were photos of practically every guest which I really appreciate! After putting so much thought and time into the wedding planning, Dani made sure that I would remember the magic for years to come. Dani did my engagement session back in September. Dani is just so cute and i absolutely lover her! She really knows what she is doing: from good place to take a picture, what pose if going to look the best, the lighting, and etc.

The very next day Dani wrote a blog about us on her website and posted a few preview pictures of our engagement session. I couldnt get over how quick the turn around time was.... and just a few days after that all of our pictures were done! The pictures turned out BEAUTIFUL! I love them all :)

I cant wait for her to take pictures of our wedding day coming up next year!

STOP LOOKING for your wedding photographer right now... because Dani Leigh Photography is the best. My husband and I got to meet with her in person at her studio before booking her for our wedding, we got to see a huge chunk of her work as well as her beautiful and funky personality, and she answered every single one of my annoying petty bride questions.
She always worked with our schedules and was incredibly patient with us when we had to reschedule our engagement session THREE times. She showed up on our wedding day extremely early to get EVERY magical moment on camera and kept our bridal party of 16 under control all day.
Dani got our wedding photos to us in less than 2 weeks (good luck finding ANY other photographer who will give you that quote and follow through) and they are incredible. We've been married for just about a month now and every day, I look at our photobook and laugh and cry and am just filled with joy remembering our special day. Her work is so impressive and worth every penny. Speaking of! She was more than willing to work within our budget!

From the first time I met Dani, I knew she was the one. She cares about each picture she takes and it shows in her work. She made us feel like long time friends.

From our Engagement photos to our Wedding, every picture is a work of art. They are beautiful and capture each moment perfectly.

For our Engagement photos, we were afraid we might look too posed or stiff, but Dani made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. And she captured the gorgeous scenery and perfect lighting, that the pictures are breath taking.

And our wedding? Even better. I found Dani Leigh Photography through multiple friends and co-workers. Dani used to work at the same place I currently work (you know she then left to follow her dream and become a fantastic photographer) and she has done several friends wedding and family photos and I loved them. I spent weeks stalking her photos before I even got engaged and contacted her when we got engaged to schedule my engagement photos before she had even bought a calendar for that year yet! She did our engagement photos this past April and we were planning on a destination wedding the following year. Then life happened and things got crazy and we decided to move our wedding up. Before I picked a date and a venue I called Dani and made sure she could do our wedding and asked her what dates she was available for. She was the most important part of what we wanted, her photographs are timeless and beautiful and we both knew we could not have our wedding and not have her there to take our pictures. She was amazing and so helpful through the whole process as there was a lot of stress involved with our wedding move. She was able to work with us and was great at making me feel more calm leading up to the big day. We weren't able to take the first look photos we had wanted because our wedding was pretty early in the day, so she suggested we stay after for some more pictures and it was so much fun and a nice way to relax with a few of our guests and bridal party to take a few more important pictures. She was a dream to work with and I wish I had a million more events for her to take pictures for. Our pictures were back to us in a little over a week and I could not be more thrilled with them. It's been nearly impossible to pick favorites. At the wedding I had a friend ask for her card and since the wedding I have recommended her to at least two people who have asked. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dani! Not only did she take amazing photos on my wedding day, but she was also a great friend and advisor during the entire wedding planning process.

I first met Dani at my sisters’ wedding, and right away, my fiancé and I knew we wanted to hire her too. We hadn’t even seen the pictures yet, but her fun-loving and goofy personality made us all feel completely comfortable with a camera around. She really brought out the best in everyone.

A few months later, we talked to Dani about coming to Boston (our home city) for our engagement pictures, and she was on board right away.

Not long after, when my fiancé and I decided to cancel our big wedding, Dani was right there helping us figure out what we should do and being super flexible the entire time. It was great to have one less thing to stress about! When we decided in the end to elope to Boston City Hall, Dani once again made the trip for us, capturing every single moment of our amazing day.

From the moment we met Dani, my husband and I were hooked. It felt more like meeting a friend than hiring a photographer. She was open to all of our ideas and made some great suggestions making our wedding that much better. During our engagement session Dani’s easy going and hilarious nature, helped relaxed us in front of the camera. We received the pictures in record time and once I saw them I couldn’t wait for my wedding day. On the day of the wedding Dani, was there with our bridesmaids and fit right in. Her assistant spent time with the men and it was so great to be able to see shots of them getting ready as well. The wedding photos were easy fun and she respected all of our wishes. The photos are just amazing. I had the digital copies in no time, and so many of my friends and family were impressed not only by the shots, but by how quickly we received them. I would recommend Dani to anyone, and I hope to be able to hire her again.

Dani is an exceptional woman and an incredible talent. From our first meeting we knew she would be a treasured part of the wedding. She is no "cookie cutter" photographer..."one size" fits all. From the easy efficient way she managed to get all the large group shots while having everyone engaged to the way she captured a touch or glance . Every photo in the "album" could be published in a magazine. She made everyone appear beautifully photogenic and natural.

Hiring Dani to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our planning process. From the night we first met her, we knew Dani was a perfect fit. She is so fun, outgoing, friendly, warm, professional, and clearly passionate about her work. We loved her work and thought she would be a fun vendor to work with, and she exceeded all of our expectations.

Dani was by far the most responsive vendor we worked with; she was incredibly flexible and would always return my emails within 24 hours. She not only answered our many questions, but she offered scheduling suggestions that she knew, from experience, would make our day go smoother. She also reassured us that she could handle some uncomfortable family situations, which she did with grace, kindness, and professionalism.

On the day of our wedding, Dani was a superstar. She arrived early, and she made sure that we stayed on schedule. She was so incredibly fun to work with as well; she and her second shooter, Anna, kept my husband and I laughing all day long, and she made us feel so comfortable and at ease. On a day that can definitely be a bit stressful, the humor was more than welcome, and it just made everything so much easier and more enjoyable!

Above all else, Dani's work is absolutely incredible. We cannot get over how beautiful the images from our wedding day are, and we are amazed at Dani's ability to capture how perfect our day was, from start to finish. We have gotten so many compliments on her photos, and we feel so lucky that we chose Dani to be the one to capture those memories for us!

I got married in Austin, TX and as a true type A bride, I looked at probably a hundred photographers and interviewed at least 20 of them! Your photos last a lifetime, and I wanted to make sure that we found the best person to capture our memories. And while all the photographers in Austin seemed great, none of them had that little spark and passion that I looking for - until I met Dani through a referral.

While she was based in Baltimore, I knew from our first meeting that she was the one! Not only was her work phenomenal - I mean the girl gets published all the freakin' time, but I could tell that she genuinely LOVED what she did for a living and you simply can't put a price tag on passion.

Her eye and style of work was exactly what I was looking for, and while I didn't want to bombard her with a million posts on Pinterest, she was aware of my ideas and in turn offered hers (which were even better than mine) in return.

On the day of the wedding it was probably 20 degrees, and I honestly wasn't sure how the photos would turn out, but when I saw the teaser, I was blown away with what she could do given the uncontrollable weather. And that's the sign of not just a good, but phenomenal photographer. Anyway can shoot a great photo when it's 80 and beautiful, but not many can capture as amazing of a photo when it's freezing in the middle of Central Texas. Kuddos Dani.

Choosing a photographer was the second decision we made when planning our wedding, after deciding on a venue and date. I found Dani Leigh Photography through searching online, and I immediately fell in love with her photos. My then-fiance and I met with Dani for a consultation and knew she was the photographer we wanted pretty much immediately. Her work samples were phenomenal, and her personality put us at ease right away. She presented us with multiple options for photo packages, and we were able to pick one that perfectly fit our needs. At our engagement photo session, we were both pretty nervous about having our photos taken. Ten minutes into the session, all of that went away. Even though it happened to be a pretty cold and windy day, we had a blast, and we never really felt uncomfortable or awkward. When we saw our photos, we were totally blown away. They were better than we could have hoped for. A little less than a year later, Dani photographed our wedding. She spent the majority of the day with myself and my bridal party, and captured every detail of us getting ready. The photos before, during, and at the end of our wedding reception were all AMAZING. Dani and her second-shooter, Anna, did an incredible job. Although the day was a blur for us, I have so many wonderful photos that I can look at now, and forever, to relive the best day of my life.

Dani is an incredible photographer. She is seriously talented. I think what I value most about her, though, is how responsive she was throughout the year and a half leading up to our wedding. She replied to emails almost immediately, and definitely less than 24 hours, every single time. She suggested vendors that we used, and loved (officiant, DJ, florist). I was totally out of my element planning a wedding, and I really don't know what I would have done without Dani around to bounce questions and concerns off of. I will 100% use Dani Leigh Photography for all of our photography needs in the future!

Dani was a fantastic photographer for the wedding. Right from the beginning she was flexible and worked with what my husband and I wanted. We wanted to customize one of the packages she offered (we didn't want an engagement shoot) and she was completely willing to work with us.
I hate getting photos taken and posing and I had asked Dani to just tell me to shut up and deal with it or just try to make me laugh. She did a great job! She was constantly making us laugh and I felt very confident in her. The photos from the wedding are perfect.
I was able to trust her with professionalism and timing on the wedding day and it took the stress of managing time away from me. Book her!

There are no words to describe how amazing Dani (and her talented second shooter, Anna) are!

From the time we got engaged (actually, before hand - I've known her work for years), I knew I wanted Dani to be my wedding photographer. From the beginning of the process it was so easy. Getting photographed isn't something most of us are used to all the time - Dani puts you at ease immediately and you have fun.

We just got our final photos and I'm so so happy with the finished product, I can't wait to show them to EVERYONE.

We also did engagement photos with Dani, and love those too.

Dani was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about her and the second shooter. Throughout the wedding process, she was so nice and very easy to work with. She was a calming presence on the actual wedding day and made sure that everything ran smoothly and that we all had fun. While we had seen her photos before, we were blown away when we received our photos a WEEK (yes, one week) after our wedding! Dani was such a pleasure to work with. From our initial meeting in Starbucks, I knew I was in for a treat. She customized a package for me to provide me exactly what I needed...and then there were the photos...W-O-W!

My photos are simply amazing, she captured so many memories and made the best use of things to make the photos so special. I had an evening wedding, and Dani knew when to take us outside to ensure she captured the "golden time of day"...beautiful photos with my husband as the sunset. Simply amazing.
