Phenomenal is the word that comes to mind when I think of "The Dana Powers House". I had the pleasure of having my reception in the beautiful barn and it was nothing less than perfect. Judi is the most organized and amazing wedding coordinator (especially on the big day). She was so helpful during the months leading up to the wedding and on the day of she was so wonderful. She even went as far as bandaging up my feet and giving me a pair of flip flops because of horrible blisters. This place really has it all!

Unbelievable! ALL my guests raved about how gorgeous the wedding venue was. No one had ever been to such a beautiful place for a wedding. The first time I visited the Dana Powers House, I knew it was THE ONE. No doubt about it :) I utilized the barn portion of the site, which fit mine and my husband's personalities better. But the house portion of the site is also absolutely gorgeous. Anywhere at the Dana Powers house is spectacular. Judi does such a great job and she is so talented with the decor she comes up with. Her and her crew did such a great job accommodating me and my guests. She made sure everything went smoothly and perfectly. Judi was calm, which kept me calm, and she always had a smile on her face. The Dana Powers House made my wedding day a dream come true!

The Dana Powers Barn is the perfect venue to have a vintage/rustic wedding on the Central Coast. Judi, who owns and runs the venue does an amazing job and is there for you every step of the way. Also she has some of the most AMAZING rentals if you want to add something extra. Additionally, the barn is so well decorated and kept up that you don't really have to do any extra decorating. What Judi provides as part of the package is outstanding as well. You get all the tables and chairs (for reception and ceremony), square ivory or white table cloths (I didn't use these, but have seen weddings where they did and it looked great), Judi coordinating the ceremony, 2 bartenders, water, lemonade and ice tea beverage station, coffee and tea station with china, the list really goes on. Judi was an absolute joy to work with from the beginning! Daniel and I immediately fell in love the Victorian home, gardens, and restored barn and knew that it was the perfect setting for our wedding. We put to use her extensive collection of vintage rentals and used things such as chandeliers, vintage forks and cake plates, vintage champagne coupes, an assortment of vintage tables, vintage milk glass, mercury glass, and aqua ball jars for floral arrangements, a settee for our photo booth, and a metal carved facade for our altar! Her attention to detail allowed me to relax the day of the wedding and I knew all of my hard planned details would be perfectly pulled together! Judi also did our day of coordination and everything was perfectly timed, from vendors to cake cutting!
Daniel and I spent months planning every detail of the wedding and Judi ensured that it was all executed flawlessly. We could not be happier with both the venue and Judi, our wedding was more incredible than we ever could have imagined it to be and we are so thankful for Judi and the Dana-Powers House!!

If you want to have the most beautiful wedding……have it at THE DANA POWERS HOUSE!!!! Judi was great to work with and she made sure that everything I wanted to happen on my big day did and on time. My experience working with Judi Powers was beyond wonderful. She is SUCH a sweet lady and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. The grounds are gorgeous, she is so flexible to make your "vision" a reality, and she is just so down-to-earth and supportive of your wedding dreams! I love her vintage rental business too! What a great thing to have all that amazing stuff right there at your fingertips to rent! There were a few times where I wish I could have gotten a hold of Judi a bit more quickly (I left a lot of messages). She was always so good about returning them, but I should have just asked for her cell number a lot sooner so that I could get a hold of her for quick questions...especially when the wedding was just a couple weeks away. I needed questions answered quickly and there was just a little lag time. But, seriously, I couldn't be happier with my ENTIRE experience and would get married there again in a heartbeat! Not that I will, but you know what I mean : ) I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. GORGEOUS spot...and SO unique! It also photographs SO beautifully! Keep up the amazing work Judi!

The Dana Powers Barn was the PERFECT place for my wedding. The property is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and most definitely loved by the owner, Judi Powers & I cannot say enough good things about Ms. Judi Powers. She was a life saver and truly a pleasure to work with.

It is evident Judi loves what she does, she is full of ideas & I appreciate her attention to detail.

Not only is the barn & property breath-taking, Judi's service, help, and support throughout all the planning stages was incredible. I would email her occasionally with questions for decor etc, she always was quick to respond.

And to top it all -- It rained on my wedding, my ceremony had been planned outside -- and only 30 minutes before, it was evident the ceremony need to be switched inside. JUDI made the call & she made sure the ceremony was beautiful inside. It was a seamless transition -- one that I could not help with because I was in my dress already, but when I came out to walk down, it was beautiful thanks to Judi & her team. The barn is so unique and goregous that I am not even sad it rained on my wedding day, getting married in the barn was without a doubt such a special moment for my husband & I & all our guests.

Very beautiful barn and view of the hillside and orchards. Weather was perfect on our wedding date, even with forecasted rain there was a plan of action. Rehearsal was all planned by Judi and went great with all the details worked out. There were even a few things thrown in last minute that really helped us out.
The contract is very specific and if you are looking for a shorter wedding, rather than a long drawn out reception, this is it. We wish we had more time to enjoy everyones company; but being the bride and groom you can not get to visit with everyone.
Overall a very beautiful wedding venue, but if you want more time, everything is written in the detailed contract.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding this past February at the Dana Powers Barn. We had the ceremony on the upper lawn and the reception in the barn. It looked so magical, I must say! The day of the wedding, Judy made sure everything was going smoothly (despite the fact that we were not as organized as we thought we were!). The inside was already so beautiful, the decorating was stress-free and very enjoyable!
The price is MORE than worth everything that Judy has to offer. She is such a sweet woman, dedicated to making every bride's dream come true! I never could have imagined such a perfect evening. Our friends and family describe the night as a "fairytale."

We held our daugher's wedding outside of the barn at the Dana-Powers House on the grass next to a beautiful orchard with the view of rolling hills, vineyards and trees. The cocktail hour was outside the barn, the reception inside the barn and we used the Dana-Powers House for the bridal party to dress and for photos. I can't tell you how many times our guests commented, "HOW
did you find this place?? It's amazing!!" And, it was. Judi, her family and staff, the vendors she recommended and the facility were absolutely over-the-top fabulous. Our daughter's day was everything she'd hoped for and much more. The beauty and unique charm of the setting and the flexibility and generosity of the staff were Five-Star!! Every time we watch our video of the wedding, we can't stop commenting how perfect the location was! Don't hesitate to check out this venue! You will NOT be disappointed!

The Dana Powers House is so great because you have so many options...they have the gardens by the house, the barn, and the lawn area! It's like three venues in one! Plus Judi has a TON of rentals to choose from to give your wedding all of the style you want, without being left with a bunch of crap you're never going to use again! She was open to all of my ideas and totally supported my creative vision!

We absolutely loved the Dana Powers barn! This setting out in the hills of Nipomo, CA was perfect for us. We had our reception on a big lawn just outside the barn and then the reception was held inside the barn which was decorated beautifully. Judy Powers runs the venue now and provides many decorations that include chalkboards, crystal chandeliers, candy table for guests, vases, mason jars for water and lemonade, a coffee station, and bartenders if you want. She is great to work with and knows what she is doing. We had a wonderful experience here!

Judy was great to work with. On the day of the wedding she was on top of everything!! I had forgot to write on the chalk boards on morning of the wedding and sent one of my bridesmaids running out and she came back and said it was already done. Judy had done it already!! This venue is great especially if you want ceramony and reception at the same venue. Judy will make sure everything is in order!!

Judi was very helpful before and during my wedding. She was there whenever I have questions, she helped coordinate the wedding, she went through the rehearsal with us and it went perfectly well on the day of the wedding. She has a great house and barn to celebrate any occassions you may have. She definitely made my dream wedding come true.

When we were still trying to find THE PLACE to get married we knew instantly when we walked into those wonderful gardens that Dana Powers was the place!

The price is worth it all! The services you get along with your booking here are just priceless! And, may I highly recommend using Judi's "day off planning" service! I don't know how this day would have gone without her there to keep everyone on track and on schedule, and even to clean a couple dresses after a unfortunate sick baby occurrence.

This place and Judi are just wonderful! Our wedding went without a hitch and I owe a ton of it to the wonderful place and services provided!
