The bridal hair and make-up experience is critically important. After all, there will be pictures!

In my opinion, Dana Bartone & Company’s bridal services is 5 Star. Professional, warm and friendly, they are also total experts in their craft. My personal experience began with an extremely accommodating scheduling process for a trial. I arrived to find a small, intimate and completely welcoming Salon. I walked into a genuinely friendly greeting from the receptionist, and then Dana made it a point to introduce herself. While I hadn’t planned on meeting her, I was happy to.
I was assigned to Jazmin, which turned out to very fortunate for me. She was amazing. She has a great personality, is an excellent listener and always stayed completely focused on getting things perfect. I left that trial with the make-up and hair that I asked for. She got it exactly right – all in the first go round. Jazmin made the experience painless and stress-free then and afterwards with timely responses to my emailed questions.
On my wedding day she showed up right on time with a big smile and a ton of product. While she was only scheduled to take care of me she was completely ready for any last minute additions. Being familiar with Jazmin and comfortable with her, hair and make-up on my wedding day was smooth sailing. She replicated what we had approved at the trial, working quickly and calmly and with a couple of laughs during the process.

Overall, I highly recommend Dana Bartone & Company as a bridal hair & make-up salon. I can’t say enough good things about Jazmin. She is talented, sincere and respects the role she plays in your special day, but most importantly, she really cares. It was a pleasure to meet and work with her.

Dana's team was great!

I had myself and four bridesmaids who needed hair and makeup. We went through Dana Bartone and used Mollie for hair and Samar for make up. Let me start by saying my hair came out amazing!! I wanted glam hollywood waves, which requires a very specific technique. Mollie really delivered! Samar also did a lovely job with the makeup. Highly recommend!

Hairstylist are professional, knowledgeable, and truly want you to be happy. From the moment of my bridal trial, both Ana and Jenn took a real interest in my wants and needs they ask questions provided guidance and did everything that they could be ready for the big day!

The day of the wedding they were both on time and ready to go from the moment we said start! They carefully crafted their magic and made everybody look their absolute best. With a house full of people, they still navigated hair and make up successfully!
Not only are they talented artists but they also have a way of making you feel incredibly comfortable!

We couldn’t be happier with the way our hair, and make up turned out! They are masters of their craft! I would use them time and time again!

HIGHLY recommend working with Dana Bartone for your wedding hair & makeup!!! The entire team was friendly, flexible, professional & extremely talented.

From my very first inquiry email & phone call, I was met with kindness & excitement from Leigh Ann, which continued all throughout the planning process. Sarah & Samar went above & beyond during my hair & makeup trial in order to ensure that both my mom & I were 100% happy with our wedding day looks.

On wedding day, Sarah, Samar, Rebecca & Jessica absolutely crushed it - handling hair & makeup for twelve ladies in a timely manner while making sure each woman had a customized experience and was satisfied with how they looked. Best Hair and Make Up Team

Dana Bartone and Company provided the best hair and make up ever for my wedding. I come from a big family, so I had seven bridesmaids, two mothers, and two grandmothers do hair and make up with me the morning of the wedding.

The team worked efficiently to get through 10 people’s makeup and 12 people’s hair with time to spare! Everyone looked amazing and the hair and makeup was tailored to each individual’s style.

Dana Bartone and Co travelled out to mystic and was ready to start at 7:15 am. They were also super fun to hang out with the morning of.

I highly recommend them for your wedding!

Stunning hair and make up!

Kelly with Dana Bartone & Co. Salon did a FANTASTIC job on wedding hair and make up for myself (bride), maid-of-honor, mom, and mother-in-law! She was easy to work with during my trial and made sure we were on the same page about what I was looking for. She was also super flexible on my wedding day when the venue told us we wouldn't be able to access the bridal suite until two hours after our planned start time! Kelly never made us feel rushed, was super friendly, and she NAILED every look. Very happy with her work, flexibility, and attention to detail. I would highly recommend her for your wedding day hair and make up needs!

AMAZING!!! Hire them!

I cannot more highly recommend using Dana Bartone and Co for your wedding. Sarah did our hair and Annya did our makeup and they were not only a joy to have with us in the morning, but their work was flawless. They came to our venue and made the morning so relaxed. Also, huge kudos to them both for taking my various pinterest saves and creating amazing hair/makeup for me, my girls, and our moms that matched everyone but was all cohesive.

The Best Hair and Makeup Team

Dana Bartone and Company was so helpful from the very start of my planning process! They worked with me, as I had to cancel and reschedule due to COVID, and made me feel confident about my decisions.

I had Dana doing me and my girls makeup and my hair and Sarah L. doing all my girls hair. Their work was exceptional! Dana truly made me feel at ease leading up to the day and throughout our whole morning together getting ready. She is such a positive person to have around when you may feel anxious or worried about little details the day of!

Leading up the wedding, I also started going to get monthly Hydrafacials with Wondeline at the salon and spa. I highly recommend utilizing their in house facial treatments the few months leading up to the big day, my skin never looked better than on my wedding day!

If you are looking for someone with experience, professionalism, kindness and knowledge of the industry, look no further than this salon!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Look no further - book them immediately!! I was so incredibly pleased with their work at my wedding! Dana and Annya were so talented and my bridal party and myself were just glowing all night long. These ladies are just so professional and so friendly, I'm so glad they were a part of my wedding day. They were so good at emphasizing your natural beauty and really working with you to help you look exactly the way you want. Both my makeup and hair didn't move a BIT all night long - I was so shocked! This salon was such a good find, I absolutely 100% recommend them to anyone on their wedding day!!

Dana Bartone & Company rescued me with only a few weeks left before my wedding! They were easy to work with and made sure I had everything I needed in a short amount of time. Couldn't ask for more!

I hired Dana for hair and airbrush make up after doing some research online and I am so happy I did! I worked solely with Dana for the trial and the day of the wedding since I only had three members in my bridal party. She was very patient and really helped me envision my wedding day; I truly felt like a bride! On the day of my wedding, she was punctual, communicative and flexible when I wanted to change my hairstyle. She tweaked every little curl so it was perfect without any hesitation. I cannot wait to hire her again in the future for other events. Also, I highly recommend the fake eyelashes. They were placed with such precision, extremely comfortable, and stunning to see! Thank you Dana!!!

Beautiful Hair & Makeup from a pro team!

I knew exactly who I wanted to use for my wedding hair and makeup upon getting engaged this past January. I hired Dana Bartone & Company right away and am so happy I did! Lauren was my main hairstylist, Jazmin was my main makeup artist, and Christina was the swing artist - meaning she did both hair and makeup for my party. They were so easy to work with regarding timing and showed up when they were supposed to. They made the small space I had in my home work beautifully and finished everyone ahead of schedule, they're true pros! My makeup looked beautiful despite sobbing during my first look with my dad and my hair stayed in place (without hurting! I have a sensitive scalp) the entire night! I can't recommend them enough and will cherish my wedding photos forever, in part due to their beautiful work. Thank you ladies!! xoxo

My husband Andy and I got married on 11/4/17 and used Dana Bartone for hair and makeup services for the girls on our wedding day. I worked with Suzanne for all of the logistical pieces and had Sara, Jazmin and Lauren on the day of for hair/make up and all 4 of these women were incredible! Suzanne was so easy to work with and made sure payments, appointments, etc. were all squared away to keep everything as organized as possible. My mom and I had the pleasure of meeting Sara and Jazmin a few months before the wedding for our hair and makeup trials and they were so lovely and made the process so much fun! Sara did my makeup and Jazmin did both of our hair and everything looked even better that we could have imagined. We gave them some ideas and they just ran with it. The day of the wedding was the most organized set up I could have ever imagined. Sara, Jazmin and Lauren had the timing down perfectly for each girl, as they knew we were on a tight schedule, but it never felt rushed. They kept the morning fun and made all of the girls look stunning. My hair and makeup on the day of the wedding looked just as perfect as it did in the trial and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. It also stayed put through all of the tears and the long night of celebrating. It looked flawless in person and in photos and I would highly recommend these ladies to anyone in need of hair and/or makeup services! Thank you for making us look and feel beautiful!

Dana Bartone & Co is truly the gold standard for wedding hair and makeup. I first worked with them when I was a bridesmaid 3 years ago and I knew then that I wanted them for my wedding this last September. As a bride, you want to look good for your wedding day, that is a given...but for me, really, I was SO happy with how stunning my bridesmaids and my mom were thanks to Christina and Patty. I booked three artists from Dana Bartone to do hair for me, two moms, and 8 bridesmaids, and makeup for six of us. They came out to the Simsbury Inn and stayed all day until everyone looked perfect. My artists listened to my feedback from the trials, and the results were fantastic! They were timely, accommodating, and really creative in their styling. I would highly recommend booking through Dana Bartone - their artists are top notch!

Dana did my makeup for my future sister-in-law's wedding and I absolutely loved it! It was flawless and I still look back at those photos and smile. Once I became engaged I knew that I would be having Dana and her lovely team do my makeup as well as my bridal party. I went in for my trial a little bit ago and again...I was floored! My hair and makeup was better than I imagined. They are so kind, professional and courteous and I look forward to working with them.

I am so thankful to have found Dana Bartone & Company for my wedding day! Lauren was absolutely amazing and agreed to join the team to do my hair only a month before the wedding (after having a few bad trials). Both Lauren and Anne really listened to what I wanted during the trials and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day. They arrived right on time despite an early 6am start and made everyone in the bridal party look and feel gorgeous. I highly recommend using this salon for your wedding day. I truly cannot say enough about Dana Bartone & Co. They did the hair and makeup for my wedding on September 10, 2016, and I could not have been happier with their amazing work! Everyone at Dana Bartone & Co. was such a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Suzanne was such a sweetheart and was so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. Prior to my hair and makeup trial I was a little worried because I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted, but Dana and Lauren immediately put my mind at ease. They were so professional and seemed to know exactly what I wanted based on my vision. They really made the bridal look I was picturing come to life, which made me so excited for the big day. On the morning of the wedding, Dana and her team arrived promptly on time ready and eager to tackle a group of 12 women, which really set a positive note for the entire day. It was so great starting our morning with them, blasting 90s music and chatting while everyone got their hair and makeup done. Everything ran on schedule the entire morning, and we were all ready right on time, just as the photographer and videographer were set to arrive. Dana did such an amazing job on my makeup, expertly adjusting the colors from my trial to match my summer tan, and making sure not to make me (or anyone else!) look too overdone. Lauren is one of the best hair artists I have ever come across-she can honestly do any hairstyle that is thrown her way and is not ruffled by any request! Dana, Lauren, and the rest of the team made all of my bridesmaids, my mom, and mother-in-law look absolutely stunning. We all looked fresh all day and night, despite the heat and humidity, and in the pictures I have seen everyone looks great. From the bottom of my heart, I cannot thank Dana Bartone & Co enough for making me and all of the most important ladies in my life look absolutely gorgeous on my wedding day. They are the absolute best!

I can't say enough great things about this company, especially Sarah. Everyone's make-up was PERFECT. It also all looked so natural. I don't really wear make up anymore and she listened to exactly what I had to say. It didn't even look like I had anything on, but everyone said I looked amazing. Sarah takes her time with each person even though they aren't the bride. I love how the bride gets liner and lipstick included so that they can touch up through the night.

Sara @ Dana Bartone was unbelievable. She made me feel like a complete princess not only at my trial but on my wedding day. All the girls looked AMAZING. No one looked too done up everyone looked natural and gorgeous. Sara made me feel so comfortable and even calmed me down on my wedding day when there was a lot going on. She listened so well and my hair and makeup looked absolutely phenomenal all day long. Book Sara ASAP :) She is wonderful!

I would highly recommend Dana Bartone and Company for a wedding. They traveled to Rhode Island for my wedding. They were early, ready to go and were able to accommodate over 14 people with hair and make-up. During my trial, Ann really took her time asking me what I wanted and checked in with me throughout the whole thing. For my hair, Lauren was amazing. I can't say enough great things about their team!!!

I would highly recommend Dana Bartone and Company. Two hair stylists and one makeup artist traveled to my wedding venue and they did the hair and makeup for my entire wedding party and our moms. We used Dana Bartone's hair and makeup services on site at a house where we were getting ready the morning of my wedding. Dana and her entire team (including Lauren who did my hair and I LOVED!) were fun, friendly, and professional and made myself and my bridal party look stunning! After meeting them at my hair and makeup trial I had no doubts that I was going to love the end result on the day of my wedding. I went in today for a hair and make up trial for my wedding. Shari was an artist with my make up, and made me feel very comfortable and beautiful. She even gave me some tips for shaping my brows and products for future use. Lauren did wonders with my hair. I have very thin straight hair, but the finished product was exactly everything I hoped for. She was very flexible, and was great at providing me with some suggestions. I had contacted this salon after they had styled my hair and make-up for my brother's wedding, and I am always surprised by the enchanting end result. I wish I could look this beautiful everyday! I know this will be a perfect look for my special day. Thank you!

We worked with Dana and her crew for both hair and makeup. I could not have been happier. My hair and makeup came out even better than I could have hoped. Dana was amazing at understanding the look I wanted even though I couldn't clearly explain it ! All of my bridesmaids and both mother or the bride and mother of the groom were thrilled with their both their hair and makeup! My wedding was this past May, on Memorial Day weekend! I cannot say enough about the team at Dana Bartone & Co--everything from my trial, days leading up to the wedding, and day of were pure PERFECTION. Dana Bartone's staff was prompt in returning email inquires and setting up my appointments; I ended up getting a facial at the salon a few weeks before my wedding and was very pleased with the service as well.

At my trial, Dana did my hair and Erica Martell did my makeup. What a treat it was to work with two women who truly LOVE their jobs. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm made me feel so special and I couldn't wait for my wedding day. On the days leading up to the wedding, I talked with Erica multiple times; she was always quick to respond to my makeup questions. We worked on finding the PERFECT shade of lipstick and I cannot thank her enough for helping me. On the day off of the wedding, Dana and Erica both arrived EARLY to my house (yes, they come to your house, what could be better than that?) and were beyond professional. They came prepared with everything they needed to make everyone feel special. My mom and sister looked so gorgeous and my hair/makeup came out just like my trial, maybe even better ;) After a 10 plus hour day, my hair and makeup STILL looked flawless.

I booked Dana Bartone & Co. for all the hair and makeup services for my wedding on October 10, 2015. Dana and one other member from her team did the hair and makeup for me, all 6 of my bridesmaids, my mother and my flower girl and they did a fantastic job! Because of Dana and her excellent work, I couldn't have felt more beautiful on my wedding day. She really listened to every detail and made sure that my hair and makeup was EXACTLY how I wanted it. In the weeks and months leading up to my wedding she was very easy to get in touch with and was always available to answer any questions I had. The night before my wedding I ended up switching locations for where we'd be getting ready and this was not a problem for her at all. She arrived bright and early that morning and spent the entire day with us, making sure everyone looked stunning and perfect. I booked Dana Bartone & Co to provide hair and makeup services for myself, 4 bridesmaids, and 3 women in our family for the day of my wedding. From start to finish, my interactions with them were flawless. I worked with Suzanne to finalize the contract and she booked Kelly and Marisa for our day. I did my hair and makeup trial with Kelly three months in advance, and she was such a joy to work with. She was very sweet, I enjoyed making conversation with her, she listened to my preferences, looked at inspiration pictures I brought with me, and most importantly, offered her expertise since I know so little about this area. I really enjoyed my trial and took lots of pictures throughout the day to see how everything held up.

Both Kelly and Marisa were extremely responsive by text leading up to the wedding, and on the day of arrived on time and ready to go. Their work was beautiful and they were nice people to have with us in the room throughout the morning. Everyone looked absolutely beautiful! Based on my trial, I had one change in my hairstyle that I requested, which Kelly executed wonderfully. She did an amazing job of glamming me up while also still helping me look like myself – a great combination of natural and stunning. I had my wedding in Monroe, CT but live about 2 hours away and hired Dana through a recommendation. They had 12 of us to do hair and makeup for and they were so efficient and professional the entire time. They came to the hotel where we were staying and were set up and ready for us when we came downstairs. I was in email communication with Dana for months up until the wedding and she was always very quick to respond back to me. My hair and makeup came out better than I even expected and my bridesmaids and mom looked stunning! We had our wedding on a VERY hot and humid July afternoon and all of our hair and makeup stayed throughout the night. Dana was an absolute pleasure to work with- she really listened to what I wanted and did just that. I would highly recommend Dana Bartone and Company-well worth the money.

I was so excited when I was able to book Dana Bartone for my wedding day, I had heard great things from all of my other vendors and knew I wanted to work with them. They could not have been more right, I have never felt more beautiful in my life!

My trial was easy, Dana new exactly what I was looking for. The products she used were light on my skin and felt so natural. She was able to enhance each aspect I wanted and brought my entire styled look together. My hair and Make up held up the entire night! No small feet with dancing, photos, hugging and all other aspects of the wedding.

Dana and Janina did hair and makeup for myself and 6 of my ladies at my wedding at the Branford House, and they did a phenomenal job. The energy was high, positivity all the way around and incredibly professional from the moment they walked in to the moment they left. The time flew by and everyone looked amazing. Dana and her team were AMAZING. Our photographer, Eric Foley, recommended her and her team, and I am so glad that he did. We had a TON of people (14) to get ready that morning, and Dana and her team got everything done with time to spare. Everyone looked like the most beautiful version of themselves (not too much, not too little), and EVERYONE was so happy with how it all came out, even the ones that hate getting their makeup done. My hair came out even better than the picture I showed her, and stayed in perfectly all day long. When I caught glimpses of myself in the mirror at the end of the night, my makeup looked as good as it did when she first applied it. Perhaps even more importantly, Dana was a pleasure to work with; she was so kind and so sweet. All of her team spoke pleasantly with the people they were working on instead of carrying on conversations with each other over our heads. Dana treated my mom like a queen, and even convinced her to wear a few false lashes which looked amazing. From the moment I met Dana, I was so happy for the recommendation, and if I lived closer, I would use her ALL the time!

Dana and company came recommended by friends that had used her for their weddings in recent months. In short, she was a pleasure to work with!

Trying to plan a wedding from 3000 miles away can be difficult but Dana and her team were extremely accommodating when it came to scheduling trials and I really appreciate how they made every effort to make things work.

On the day of the wedding, Dana and Rena were both efficient but thorough, as well as fun, and professional! Everyone was pleased...at first I didn't even recognize myself but now that my photos (Weddings by Alisa) came by I can further appreciate the care they took to make me look my best :) I wish I could have them do my hair/makeup every day!

To be honest, Dana was priced a little bit more than some of the other people I had received references for but given her rave reviews it was a no-brainer to pick her for the big day.

I have no regrets and if you want friendly, reliable and awesome -- pick Dana and her team!

The team for my wedding NAILED IT.
Me and my girls loved our hair and makeup. It really was prefect. No one looking like they were going to prom. Everyone looked like they were ready to walk a red carpet.
My make up was what every bride wants. Natural with just a touch more glamour. I recommend eyelashes. They are individual lashes. A subtle way to really open up your eyes for pictures and to look a touch more done up and special but without adding extra color and makeup to your face.

My hair was perfect, no hard hairspray helmet. It lasted all night, as did all my girls. I had a classic up-do. A twisted/ Folded/low side bun.

My wedding had to be planned quickly! They worked with me to put together a team of people to do 9 H&M-UP about a month away from my wedding.

*remember to work out your payment process before, they don't take CC day of. And if it feel expensive to you, in comparison to others its really not and it is beyond worth it because you get just what you want.

Lauren & Catie did our hair & make-up for my wedding. They did mine, my Mom's, and the bridal party. Everyone looked fantastic. They brought everything with them, arrived on-time, and listened to what all the girls wanted.

Lauren did a wonderful job with everyone's hair. My little sister hates hairdressers. She actually wasn't supposed to get her hair done. The morning-of when she was styling her hair, it just wasn't coming out right. Lauren offered to do it for her a bunch of times. Finally, my sister gave in and loved how it turned out. She actually said that she was going to start going to Lauren on a regular basis (and that's huge for her because she usually cuts her own hair).

Catie did a fantastic job with everyone's make-up. So far, I've only seen friends & family's photos and the make-up looks great on everyone. It looks so natural, although many of us got pretty shinny. I can't wait to see professional photos because I know that the make-up will look flawless with those pics (and the shininess will be gone after re-touching). My mom's make-up was amazing. My Mom has dark circles under her eyes (in runs in her family) and after Catie did her make-up, you would never know. She's never looked better.

And the pricing was reasonable. My sister had her hair & make-up done for a wedding a few weeks before mine. She went to them and Catie & Lauren did a better job & it cost the same (and they came to us).

They were so wonderful - I'm so happy I used them.

Dana and Lauren came to do our wedding at Avon Old Farms Hotel. Me and all of my girls and family had a wonderful experience with them. Dana is so wonderful, very kind and very good at what she does. Lauren and Rina did an amazing job making me and my bridal party simply breathtaking! They were able to make us up in such a way that we still felt like our natural selves. They traveled to my parents house which helped make the day very stress free. We had so much fun at our trial and both girls were very receptive to what I requested. My makeup and hair looked so amazing that I kept it for three days! It looked just as perfect on the third day as it did when they just finished.

The ladies that travelled to our house to beautify myself, and my bridesmaids were great! They did a fantastic job and all the girls looked breath-taking. Dana did my hair and makeup for my wedding day, as well as the hair or makeup of my bridesmaids. Dana was a pleasure to work with the whole time. The previous review who said she doesn't make you feel rushed is absolutely correct - she really takes the time to understand what you want and doesn't make you feel bad if you think something needs to be changed in the end. She wants to give you what you want, and that's what counts! She is masterful at what she does, and I came out of both my trial and on the day of looking and feeling beautiful, which is saying something for someone who is typically a "plain Jane" like me. And the hair and makeup on my bridesmaids looked fabulous! Her travel fees are a little pricey if you are having her travel a little farther, which I opted out of and went to the salon, and her overall fees are a little pricey as well, but she is well worth it!!!! She even gave me a referral (which ended up working out wonderfully) for a custom-designed veil lady, and had options for low-cost headpieces for WAY less than the bridal salons charged. She was very responsive and willing to work with whatever I needed 100% of the way. (And when I had to travel to my honeymoon destination in my wedding hair and makeup due to my power going out at home following the wedding, it DEFINITELY held up - a testament to the quality of her services!). When I forgot my headpiece at home on the day of, she just showed my bridesmaids how to attach it to the style once I got back - put me at ease when I was already stressed! She is friendly and great to work with!

I contacted Dana Bartone and Company literally two weeks before my wedding. Dana responded immediately and was able to work in a short time frame. She made the process extremely simple and best of all gave me an absolutely wonderful makeup artist, Ron. Ron had a charming personality and really put all of us at ease and even entertained my young nieces. On top of that, we left his make-up chair feeling absolutely beautiful. While the cost may seem a little high, I found value to be quite high and higher than what I have experienced with other makeup artists in the past. Definitely would recommend!

Dana and her assistants are so nice and they have a lot of patience. For my hair trial they didn't make me seem rushed and they took their time in making sure that I looked exactly how I wanted to look. On wedding day they arrived early and they did a great job on the bridesmaids hair and makeup. I looked beautiful that day! They are a little bit on the pricey side but I think it's worth it!

Linda at Dana Bartone did my hair for my wedding, and she was so patient with me through 2 trials until we found the right style! She traveled to the hotel where I was getting ready, and she did my entire bridal party's hair as well as my mother's! Linda was so kind and considerate, and she was incredibly flexible! I believe her new website is generationsofdesigns.com, and I would highly recommend her to any bride looking for the most natural look on your special day!

I could not have been happier with Dana Bartone and Company for my wedding hair and makeup. A friend of mine had used them years earlier and when it came time to look for hair and makeup it didn't take me long to make up my mind. Patty and Angela were not only amazing at what they did, they were so lovely to spend time with during the day. I did a hair trial a few months earlier with Patty, and it was smooth and pleasant- we played around with my ideas and came up with something perfect. I didn't get a makeup trial because I had previously gotten just makeup done with them at my friends wedding. My hair and makeup was exactly what I had asked for. Patty made it super secure, it lastest all day (even with a sprinkle of rain and without a hairspray touch up!). Angela asked a few questions, and jumped right in, knew exactly what to do, and made me look like the best version of myself. Now I even have a new favorite lipstick! My makeup lasted all day as well with just a few lip touch ups after eating and drinking. These two were awesome and we even had time to squeeze in one more person for makeup since we were so ahead of schedule. I highly recommend this company and Patty and Angela. The booking process was clear and smooth, everyone I talked to was so welcoming and wonderful. I never felt more beautiful!

I am so glad I booked Angela and Patty from Dana Bartone for my wedding! To be honest, when I was reading reviews, I didn't see a ton that mentioned Angela or Patty, so I was a little unsure as to how I would like their work. Let me tell you, the minute I had my trials, I knew I had made the right decision! Angela listened to what I was looking for, and followed through completely, I loved my trial, and it held up all day on a very hot and humid day. Patty also did an amazing job on my trial.
When it came time to the morning of my wedding, Patty and Angela arrived right on time and got to work quickly. They did hair and makeup for my whole bridal party and my mom and husband's mom, as well as hair for our two flower girls. They were professional, very sweet and finished early! Everyone loved their hair and makeup, and looked stunning. I got many compliments on my look that day, and I felt so beautiful!! I would highly recommend booking Angela and Patty for your wedding!

Dana Bartone was so easy to work with. Dana was busy the day of my wedding, but Lee and Linda did my hair and my girls' hair that day. I think everybody's hair turned out really well and I loved the experience of doing my trial at Dana's house. It was a really comfortable atmosphere. They are considered the best in CT and I think their work says it all. I had Sandra Downie do my makeup based on Dana's recommendation and she was a pleasure to work with as well.

The entire bridal party looked stunning!

I decided to go with Dana Bartone & Co for my wedding after having both hair&makeup done as a bridesmaid in a prior wedding. I have very thin hair and usually am not very happy with the finished product, but I loved it when I was a bridesmaid, and they did not disappoint for me when I was a bride! The pricing for the bride was a little steep (as expected), but I thought the pricing for the bridesmaids were more than fair. They even traveled 80 miles to my venue, which really meant a lot. Everyone's hair and makeup came out stunning, and they did not rush through any of the services. They stayed with us until everyone looked perfect!

I booked this salon for bridal party hair and makeup for my big day - so glad I did. From the get go, Dana Bartone Salon was easy to communicate with (one of the main reasons I booked them , plus their portfolio). My hair trial I did for my bridal shower, and my makeup trial was done for rehearsal dinner. The people that traveled to us day of (Marisa and Laura) were AMAZING! I felt stunning, they listened to everything that I wanted done, and that my bridesmaids were thinking of. We did 6 people for both hair and makeup, all done in plenty of time before the ceremony. I would highly recommend them. Honestly not as expensive as they seem - comparative to all other bridal salons I looked into.

Dana Bartone's team is amazing and won't disappoint. They recently did hair and makeup for my bridal party of 11, and all of us loved the way we loooked- not an easy feat! The makeup artist, Angela, was wonderful to work with throughout and was a true professional. I am typically really picky about my makeup, but she completely got the look I wanted and was super great about any incorporating any ideas/suggestions/ changes that I wanted to try. Fellina did our hair and did an incredible job as well! She somehow managed to make my flat hair become super voluminous and it held up all day. As someone who normally skips on the professional hair and makeup for weddings, I can honestly say my money was well worth it with Dana Bartone. They made me look way better than I could have on my own, and most importantly, it stayed like that well into the late evening! Also, Suzanne in their office was super helpful, responsive, and provided excellent service throughout our months-long communication. Highly recommend!

I found Dana Bartone and co here on weddingwire.com. At first I was a little hesitant because of their pricing for hair styling but after seeing what a beautiful job Abby did, I feel it was well worth it. I had five of us total getting our hair done and six of us getting our make up done.
Abby was our hair stylist and was so accommodating with my schedule as well as my ideas of what I envisioned my hair to be for my wedding day. My wedding day came and my hair held up the whole night and the extensions she put in looked like my real hair! All the girls were so happy with how their hair came out, they wanted to keep it that way for breakfast the next morning! Abby did a great job and I was glad to have her.

Erica was our make up artist. She was absolutely wonderful! She took my idea of how i wanted to look and made it a reality. When i went for my trial i was such a nervous wreck because i have oily skin and she just had me take a seat and have a sip of water and off she went and made me look like a princess. All the girls who had their make up done truly looked like movie stars! We absolutely loved having Erica as our make up artist and we cannot thank her enough for making us feel like royalty for a day!

Dana Bartone and Company did an incredible job with the hair and makeup for my recent wedding! They truly made me feel beautiful with their stunning work. My sister and I had our hair done by Philena and makeup by Erica. I was very late in making our beauty appointments (2 weeks before the wedding!) because the trial I scheduled with another company didn't work out. Dana and her staff were extremely accommodating both for my makeup trial, and for the big day.
Philena and Erica arrived at about 10:00 am to our hotel room with all their stuff. It took about 3 hours to do everything. It looked AMAZING. I told them basically what I wanted, and what I didn't like about the first trial, and they both did PERFECT work. The airbrush makeup and individual false lashes looked great in the photos. My hair was comfortable all day and night. I would do it every weekend if it weren't so expensive!
I would definitely recommend Dana Bartone's stylists to any bride. They were awesome!

I contacted Dana Bartone and Company after receiving a recommendation from my MOH. From the minute I contacted Dana and requested to have Rena as my makeup artist all of the pieces fell right into place. Rena contacted me immediately thereafter and we chatted about my big day and scheduled a trial in April for my August wedding. The trial went amazingly well and I couldn't wait until August. Due to the amount of bridesmaids I had and the short window we had to get ready, Rena worked with me tirelessly to get a schedule down and to make sure everyone was taken care of with plenty of time. From the minute Rena and Anne showed up for my wedding until the minute they both left, everything went perfectly. My makeup was beautiful as were all of my girls and my mother. We all had airbrush done and it was about 90plus degrees out and extremely humid so I was terrified my makeup would melt, but it didnt! Our makeup lasted all day and well into the next day. My bridal party and I received tons of compliments all day on our makeup! I would without a doubt recommend Dana Bartone for all of your wedding day needs and request Rena, she was the best!

Dana did my makeup on my wedding day and it was flawless. It held up wonderfully in pictures. I wanted airbrush foundation and she is one of the few in CT that offered it. She is lovely and was great working with. I wasn't feeling great when she came to my bridal suite on the day to get me ready and she really made the makeup be a soothing process for me to relax and be at peace for a little while before the day speeded ahead. She also found me the most wonderful hair comb through a vendor she works with - she had it custom ordered for me with the red crystals that I really wanted. I think it received more compliments than my dress did!

I loved working with Dana Bartone and Company for my wedding. They were organized, responsive and very helpful as I planned the coordination of hair/makeup for me and my bridesmaids. I worked with Rena for makeup and Abby for hair - both were amazing, fun and laid back on the morning of my wedding. Rena went above and beyond - helping me figure out what products my skin needed leading up to the big day! I recommend them to anyone getting married in the area. They rock!

Dana was so kind to me during my pre-wedding trials and stopped at nothing to make sure I was happy before the big day. I truly appreciated her time and understanding, and found her very easy to work with. On the big day Abby and Rena worked tirelessly on hair and makeup for 9 ladies! They both made me feel so beautiful and did an awesome job with all the girls and my Mother, everyone looked amazing. It was worth every penny having them travel to bring the hair and makeup to us, they helped make it a very relaxed and fun process.
