I cannot say enough amazing things about Cruiseport, Gloucester! My husband and I were recently married here, and we were originally supposed to host over 200 guests. We opted to keep our original date despite the pandemic and opted to have a "minimony" with 25 guests. We would not change a thing! Throughout the entire process, Kristen Barrett was there for us and was extremely communicative, supportive, and helpful. Taryne also helped us iron out some of the last minute details, and Danielle was our fabulous day-of coordinator that helped us pull off the greatest day of our lives. The food and the space is incredible, and we even received a refund when it was all said and done. Cruiseport gave us a stress-free, beautiful experience!

A class act!
We were drawn to Cruiseport for several reasons, beginning with their reputation. Quite a few people recommended the venue for their quality of service, and it became clear throughout our wedding planning that they have the proper procedures in place to deliver a flawless experience for any occasion.
My husband and I could not be happier with our decision to work with the Cruiseport Team for our Wedding Day. Each and every member of the staff was truly such a pleasure to work with from our very first visit all the way through our day. The staff are clearly trained, they know how to pay attention to the details, and they offer such hospitality to your family and friends.
As we led up to our wedding day, we were thrilled to work with Alyson D. on the team. Alyson gave us a sense of calm and composure throughout the entire process. She anticipated our needs and truly understood what was most important to us. Her experience was evident; she welcomed our unique ideas, and she gave recommendations along the way that genuinely helped to deliver a seamless day from start to finish. Alyson and the Cruiseport Team are a class act, who deliver on their word and provide such value with their approach to the wedding process.
We cannot recommend Cruiseport enough, with a number of options in the North Shore area, nothing seems to compare when you consider their entire package and what Cruiseport has to offer!

MA/NJ December Wedding
I am originally from the north shore of Massachusetts but live in New Jersey now. I knew I wanted to get married on the water in MA, and my husband was all for it. The Cruiseport was the perfect option! We worked with Alyson, who made sure everything went seamlessly. The team's preparation and set up of the room was beautiful! The entire staff were friendly and present through the entire night, and the food was delicious. Thank you to Alyson to keeping our wedding party of 21 in line, we had an absolute blast! Cruiseport Wedding October 2025
This venue was amazing! Miriam was our coordinator for the wedding day and she went above and beyond. She made our vision come to life and all of the details fell into place with her help. We met with her in-person twice before the day to go over all of the details and timelines. From the moment we started planning, she was incredibly organized, attentive, and reassuring. She guided us through a rehearsal for the ceremony and coordinated with the bridal parties the day of.
On our wedding day, we were able to relax and enjoy every moment because we knew she had everything under control. She was always in the background but never in the way. There was a few times my husband looked around the room, in need of something, and all of a sudden she appeared! It really showed how much she cared about making our day flow perfectly. The set up of the venue was exactly what we had talked about and she really made my vision come to life. If you’re looking for someone who’s professional, kind, detail-oriented, and genuinely invested in making your day special, then definitely book with Cruiseport and ask for Miriam!

Best Wedding Venue!
We had the absolute best wedding day at the Cruiseport! Alyson was an amazing coordinator who answered every question so quickly. We chose to do the sailing cocktail hour. All of our guests loved this and we had a beautiful sunny day! Everything was just like we pictured it and the food was delicious. Some of the best espresso martinis ever! We stayed at the Beauport Hotel and they were great to communicate with for our room block as well.

From the moment we toured Cruiseport and got to speak with the staff, we knew this was the perfect wedding venue for us. We were lucky enough to work with Jordan as our wedding coordinator, who brought our wedding vision to life. In the months leading up to our November wedding Jordan made the entire planning process seamless, always answered all of our questions promptly, and made wedding planning not only stress-free, but exciting! On the wedding day, Jordan not only ensured the day remained on track but went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I were having the best night. Her efforts were not only noticed by us, but our family and friends. We will always appreciate everything Jordan and the entire Cruiseport staff did for us both leading up to the wedding, and the day-of. Perfect Wedding Day!!!
We got married at the Cruiseport this past weekend and our wedding was nothing less than perfect! Our coordinator, Jordan, was extremely helpful and organized. She helped us to plan the wedding of our dreams. The space is gorgeous and was able to accommodate our larger party of around 250 guests. We utilized the Beauport Cruiseline for our cocktail hour and all of the guests loved it! The cocktail hours food was amazing and the bar tenders and staff had everyone with food and drinks in their hand at all times! The ceremony was gorgeous, the space is beautiful and very modern. Jordan was there every step of the way to help answer questions and made sure the night went smoothly. I would recommend this venue for anyone planning their wedding. The staff is amazing & knows how to execute a wedding. Our time spent at Cruiseport was amazing!

A must for anyone getting married
I cannot recommend the Cruiseport enough. As a bride in NE this is one of the best venues you can get that doesn’t shove an outdated theme down your throat or try to upsell you at every corner. We toured the venue right after we were engaged almost 2 years ago and booked it right away because of AMY. We asked right away that she be our day of coordinator. She was a joy to work with and made the process so easy and a real no brainer. We had unforeseen circumstances affect our wedding day and the entire Cruiseport staff went above and beyond. I cannot recommend them enough, ask for Amy!!

The most amazing venue, view, food and staff! 10/10
First off, aside from being an absolutely beautiful venue, the Cruiseport staff was AMAZING! To say they are on their A-game would be an understatement. The entire staff was so warm and helpful. Everything from the reception set-up, to the small stuff such as having our signature drinks waiting for us as we entered the boat for cocktail hour, made us feel very special. We truly felt like royalty that day. I highly recommend having cocktail hour on the boat, as it was so much fun and the view was incredible. Jordan was our wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING! She is kind, personable and was super patient with the 100 questions I asked during the planning process via phone/email. Additionally, her email responsiveness was so quick, which is greatly appreciated. Also, she provided really great decor ideas that I hadn't even thought of, which I ended up utilizing and were a big hit! The day of the wedding, there were some last minute changes that came up for the reception and Jordan was extremely flexible and accommodating. You will be lucky to have Jordan as your wedding coordinator! Lastly, the food was delicious. I had the fish (because Gloucester) but wow the filet was amazing. If a beautiful, coastal New England wedding is your vision...run, don't walk to the Cruiseport!! 10/10.

The perfect wedding day
Cruiseport Gloucester was the absolute perfect venue! Our wedding coordinator, Jordan, was so helpful through the entirety of the process. In the week leading up and the day before, she was extremely responsive to all our many questions and concerns. She took care of every small detail and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the wedding day. We were able to enjoy the day without worrying about anything at all! The small details such as handing us our signature cocktails as soon as the ceremony finished and getting a plate of the appetizers set aside for us really made a difference. Cruiseport was the very first venue I looked at, and the last! We booked them right away (before we were even engaged because we loved them so much). Everyone we worked with there was fantastic. All of my vendors were very happy to work with Cruiseport as well calling them a "well-oiled machine," and they truly were. My coordinator, Sarah, was so sweet and kind. She even bustled my wedding dress for me, and I am forever grateful for her!!! Can't recommend the Cruiseport enough, I had the time of my life and would do it all over again with them as my venue team.

My husband Mike and I had the BEST experience hosting our wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester. From our first meeting with our event manager, Nora we knew we were in good hands. Nora took the time to explain the process to us as we felt overwhelmed first getting started with wedding planning. Nora was so helpful during the months leading up to the wedding. We had numerous questions and Nora was always there to support and put us at ease. So responsive, professional, and truly a wonderful person. The day of our wedding could not have gone smoother. The decor was styled even better than how we imagined! Nora and the Cruiseport staff went above and beyond to arrange items exactly how we envisioned. The waitstaff and bar tenders were so attentive, professional, and wonderful. The next day our decor items were packed up and organized for us which made everything so easy and we felt so taken care of. Cruiseport Gloucester is the place for your wedding! Not only a beautiful location inside and out, the staff will make your day stress-free so you can enjoy your special. These guys are pros!

Amazing, elegant venue!
I recently had both my ceremony and reception at Cruiseport Gloucester and I could not have been happier with the decision. It’s an absolutely stunning venue and the staff are phenomenal. Not only was the venue everything I hoped for, but we also received many complements about how great the food was. Our coordinator Sara was there every step of the way to answer my questions. She made sure everything went smoothly and I didn’t have to stress about a thing. She even dried off my veil after an unfortunate encounter with the wind sent it flying off my head and into the ocean! I could not recommend this venue any more highly.

Cruiseport Gloucester was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Our coordinator, Amy, did everything possible to make the planning smooth and stress-free. She really went above and beyond to make our day perfect, answering every little question (even the ones that were probably dumb!) and making sure we had a great plan for our day. The venue itself is so beautiful and the food is amazing. I am still having guests comment (months later!) on how it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Not to mention how much more affordable Cruiseport was than most other places we looked at on the North Shore -- and without skimping on any of the "luxury" stuff. It felt like everything we could want was already included in the price and handled so easily.

Amazing Experience
We had our wedding here in October of this year and this Venue was worth every penny. Amy was our coordinator and she was so organized and spot on when it came to all things wedding. We had a lot of small requests and she found a way to make it happen. Whether it was our "bubbles and brews" wall or making our signature drinks with special ingredients, there was nothing that they couldn't do. The venue is beautiful and our guests had the best time. The Best Venue!
Can’t recommend the Cruiseport enough! We got married August 2023. Our coordinator Amy was fantastic! She brought our wedding vision to life and made it better than we could have ever imagined. Amy was super helpful and always quick to get back to any questions we had. She also took the time to meet with our group in person and was so patient in making sure every detail was perfect. I did not have to worry about a thing, Amy took care of everything! I was amazed at how beautiful everything looked when I walked down the aisle for our ceremony and at our reception.
The venue itself is gorgeous and all of the food was delicious. All of our guests are still raving! We also loved staying at the Beauport Hotel, the bridal suite was beautiful! I was so impressed with everything from start to finish and felt well taken care of throughout the process! I would absolutely recommend the Cruiseport for your wedding!

Easy and vibrant
We got married at Cruiseport in July 2023. Our coordinator was Amy Ray. We loved our experience with Cruiseport! From the moment we toured, we felt it was the right fit for us. We were right on the water and the venue was modern, bright, and had a happy feeling. Amy was excellent to work with and made everything extremely easy from the initial planning days all the way through to our last dance on our wedding night. We loved the easy to access deck that our guests utilized throughout the night. The venue space was extremely flexible. We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all at Cruiseport and each space felt separate and unique, while making it easy for our guests to arrive and be stationed in one spot. We organized our rehearsal dinner with Cruiseport, too, which allowed us to have our rehearsal aboard Beauport Cruiselines that allowed for the most gorgeous sunset cruise of Gloucester Harbor. The food for both our rehearsal dinner and wedding was to die for and extremely *beyond* accommodating for dietary restrictions, especially gluten free needs. Something we really loved about Cruiseport was that after our ceremony they had an entire cocktail hour spread for the wedding party and cocktails/drinks ready to go for us. They also had drinks poured and passed around throughout the cocktail hour for our guests. We received a lot of feedback that the h’ourdervous were plentiful and delicious and the bar was quick and efficient. We loved Cruiseport and highly recommend it! Amy did everything and created a stress-free day that felt seamless by all. Thank you, Cruiseport!

Picture perfect wedding!
The Cruiseport Gloucester is the most picture perfect wedding venue! Words alone can’t describe the beauty it has to hold. The huge open ballroom, surrounding glass windows, high ceilings and romantic fireplaces will take your breath away. The staff are impeccable! Everyone was so helpful and kind. The food is DELICIOUS! We got so many compliments on how incredible the food was, saying it was the best wedding food ever! And it was! There are so many ways to make this venue fit into your wedding aesthetic and have a simply breathtaking wedding.
Most importantly, our coordinator Kristen B was the BEST out there!! Seriously I couldn’t have done this without her! From early on I was able to secure Kristen as our day of coordinator, but let me tell you she was WAY more than just day of! Kristen met with me numerous times in the months leading up to my wedding to talk over details, vendors and simply help plan our perfect day. She was responsive to my millions of emails and always had the answer! Her knowledge, professionalism and personal touch helped make the wedding of my dreams come true! Cruiseport is the best!
We have nothing but great things to say about cruiseport! The space is beautiful and comes with everything you need. The food was phenomenal and they were very accommodating. Our event coordinator Kristen was so great. She helped make everything day of run so smoothly and was such a pleasure to work with. There really are no hidden fees or surprise charges which is great. We would recommend cruiseport to anyone!

Best venue ever!
If I had to do our wedding over 100 times I would pick Cruiseport every time. Through the venue search we found that many places had hidden fees or felt pressured into booking right away. We never felt that way with Cruiseport. They are very reasonably priced and their packages come with so much. The ballroom itself is gorgeous and can be decorated to fit any vision. My favorite part was working with Kristen B. She is THE BEST!! She made us feel so comfortable through the whole process, answered my millions of emails, and made sure everything was perfect. I forgot my wedding cake the morning of and she was about to go to a bakery to get one for me. People like Kristen are so hard to find especially to work with. I am beyond thankful for her and the staff at Cruiseport. You truly made our wedding day perfect. It wouldn't have been possible without you!!!! xoxo Kelly & Chris

Dreamy Winter Wedding
This January my husband and I had the winter wedding of our dreams at the Cruiseport Gloucester. Although I had always dreamt of a summer wedding due to COVID and timing I decided to go with a winter wedding and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. As soon as I walked into Cruiseport for my first tour with Kristen Barrett I knew This venue was for me and Kristen was for me. Working with Kristen made wedding planning seamless, enjoyable and fun. She knew every detail there was from best north shore vendors to best hors d’oeuvres and menu items to fit our and our guests needs. The food at the Cruiseport is also amazing and the bar service and drinks are unmatched. The rest of the staff at the Cruiseport was also outstanding they were so accommodating day of with set up and break down which makes your day just that much more perfect and stress free. Leading up to and day of my wedding Kristen was with me every step of the way. Without her guidance and passion for weddings and this beautiful venue this day would not have been possible. Having the Beauport hotel so close for guests to stay at is also a huge bonus.

Amazing experience!
We had an amazing wedding at the Cruiseport! We toured the venue in 2020, booked our original date for 2021, and postponed to 2022. Over those two years, Kristen & the Cruiseport team were upfront and easy to work with. One of the things I love most about this venue is that they truly want to make the process easy for their couples. There are no hidden fees, sneaky contract language, etc. The planning process was flexible and easy, and Kristen and her team were happy to give decor suggestions or look into any ideas I had. Our wedding day couldn't have been better, and a lot of that is due to the Cruiseport. They truly brought my vision to life. Everything that I had been planning in my head looked even better in person. The food was amazing, and the staff was professional and so nice. Everyone was raving about how amazing the venue and staff were. Kristen was a pro with some last minute changes and made sure everything was just right. If you're thinking about booking this venue, do it!

BEST on the Northshore
My husband and I just had our wedding at the cruiseport in January and it was BEYOND amazing. When I was looking at venues, I actually was really hesitant to book this venue because I knew it was a popular location for people that have grown up on the Northshore. I am so glad I didn't listen to that thought and went and looked at it. From our initial visit with Kristen at the crusieport we immediately fell in love with the space. It holds well over 200 people, is absolutely stunning and having the Beauport hotel in such close proximity was an extra bonus. It was very clear to me after seeing this venue why it was such a popular place for people to get married at. The price was also very fair and competitive allowing us to put more of our budget into some killer vendors. The food was delicious, came out timely and was hot as it was served! The venue and staff just hit EVERY mark I gave them (which was alot). I didn't have to worry about timing, or anything running behind because they were such a well oiled professional machine! If I could go back and do my wedding all over again, I honestly wouldn't change one thing about it. It was just beyond perfect. We were also so lucky to have an amazing wedding coordinator provided from the Cruiseport and I really couldn't imagine my day without Kristen's help! She has a great eye for style, understood my vision right away and helped me make it happen. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart. We just had the best weekend of our lives and it was thanks to you and all your team's hard work!
I wouldn't be true to myself if I didn't have one small complaint. The bar has to close after 4.5 hours. Which does fly by. I do wish they had a longer liquor license. BUT I can tell you that we extended our wedding an extra hour because we loved our band and no one was missing the bar once it closed. We made sure to tell people to go get their last drinks and put them at their table before it closed. I wouldn't get too hung up on this point just one area I wish they would improve on.
10/10 Recommend!

Beautiful Venue!
My fiancé and I fell in love with the Cruiseport, it is a beautiful venue with amazing staff! We loved how open it is with all the windows overlooking the water. We were originally supposed to be married there on 5/23/20 But due to covid we had to postpone multiple times. I can not thank Kristen Barrett enough helping us navigate through all the changes making everything go smoothly and easy, she is truly amazing! We first postponed to 11/13/20, and the decided to postpone again to spring of 2021. Kristen knew how much I really wanted a Saturday date, and unfortunately at the time they were booked solid for the spring. But when 5/1/21 opened up, she called me immediately to let me know a Saturday had just became available and she thought of me right away. I can not imagine the amount of hard work it was with all the brides in my similar situation having to postpone or cancel due to covid, but Kristen made sure she reached out and kept in communication throughout the whole process. We ended up just recently deciding to cancel all together due to the covid restrictions, and she helped us easily receive a full refund. Thank you so much for making everything with the planning and replanning stress free! I would recommend the Cruiseport to anyone interested in this venue!

The best wedding venue in MA!
I had the most incredible experience with Cruiseport Gloucester. At every step of the way they were so accommodating, helpful, and friendly. I did a lot of searches for wedding venues all over MA, but the second we stepped into Cruiseport, we knew that it was the venue for us. The high ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and glass windows surrounding the whole space make it the most elegant and sophisticated place. The on staff team was always in constant communication every step of the way and are genuinely so passionate about weddings. My biggest thanks in particular to Kristin and Taryne -- two of the sweetest people I have ever met! I would give them more than 5 stars if I could!

My dream wedding come true!
About a month ago, we had the most magical wedding ever at Cruiseport Gloucester!! We had our ceremony and reception in the grand ballroom with cocktail hour aboard Beauport Cruiselines' beautiful boat. Let me tell you, my guests still can't stop raving about the wedding! We honestly couldn’t have done it without our event manager, Francesca. She is the reason why our wedding went so smoothly, from beginning to end, and even made the planning stages as stress-free as it possibly could be. Francesca really knows her stuff and gave us advice on everything from décor to food to guests, and it all turned out beautifully. The venue was spectacular, the staff was wonderful, and I was told by our guests that the food was among the best they've had at a wedding (we had the filet mignon and salmon). My vendors and guests can’t stop complimenting on how smoothly everything went, and my bridal party can’t stop praising Francesca for how great she was throughout the entire night. I can honestly say because of Francesca’s experience in planning and managing weddings, we had the most enjoyable time planning our wedding, and an even better time at the wedding. Many people have asked if we’re glad the wedding is over with the stress of planning it and all, and we both definitely agree that we’re truly sad it’s over because it was the best time of our lives thus far! Amazing Cruiseport wedding!
We had the most perfect wedding at the Cruiseport! We were planning from across the country and luckily had the most amazing coordinator, Kristen. She was patient, flexible and so detail oriented helping us work through things we hadn’t even thought of. She was so professional, immediately eased any anxieties and addressed questions and changes in a timely fashion. We had both our ceremony and reception at the venue and the transitions were seamless. Throughout our entire wedding process, the Kristen and her staff made sure all of our questions were answered so we felt confident and prepared heading into our wedding day. Our wedding went off without a hitch and all of our guests complimented the beautiful ballroom and amazing food. I highly recommend the Cruiseport and Kristen for your event!

Amazing Experience!
The Cruiseport Gloucester far exceeded our expectations in all areas, from the atmosphere of the room, to the taste of the food, to how stress-free their team makes wedding-planning. Specifically we wanted to thank Kelsey for making our wedding so easy for my wife and I, where each time we met with Kelsey, we felt a huge sense of relief and re-assurance that everything would be perfect. Kelsey took care of us with organizing, keeping us calm, facilitating, assisting with decorations, everything you could imagine! While Kelsey was amazing, the Cruiseport overall had excellent staff all around, everyone was very accommodating and kind. Almost all of our vendors worked with the Cruiseport before and all revered their relationship with them. All of which had nothing but great things to say. As for the food, although I personally only had the main dish (was too busy partying), I heard nothing about positive feedback on the hors d'oeuvres, main dishes, and snacks. We very-much recommend the Cruiseport Gloucester to anyone looking to get hitched, you won't regret it!

Cruiseport Goes Above and Beyond
The Cruiseport is one of the most beautiful venues in Massachusetts. Beth was our coordinator and made this normally stressed bride a new woman. She was extremely responsive and understood our concerns about timeline as our main goal was to make sure our guests got as much time on the dance floor as possible. She ensured the wedding moved along smoothly without any issues at all and guests told us it was one of the greatest weddings they've been to because of how everything moved along perfectly including the food and other traditions. A huge thank you and shout out to the kitchen and staff for the most amazing food and timeliness of getting the dinners out to our guests. Everything was absolutely beautiful and it the success and happiness of that day in large part goes to the staff of Cruiseport and Beth, thank you, thank you!!!

Elegant Venue, Great Team and Food
The Cruiseport was a fantastic venue. We worked closely with Francesca LeGallo, who was our Event Coordinator, and she was superb. Given we’re an international marriage, we had a lot of different customs to blend and Francesca was great about making it work: custom liquor, off-menu recipes, etc. Any change you can think of, we probably did it and she pulled it off perfectly.
The Cruiseport is a very elegant venue and everyone was raving about the food and service (Cruiseport only works with Vinwood catering). We had about a 270 person wedding and fit very nicely. It was at the end of winter but thankfully the weather was good enough that day to reopen the deck. They set it up and we had the cocktail hour there.
Francesca was always checking in with us and family throughout the night and kept everything very organized. We would recommend her and the Cruiseport any day.

The Flawless Wedding
My son and his wife were married here in April. The Cruiseport is gorgeous, breathtaking. They worked with Kristen the wedding coordinator who was fantastic. They live in California and she worked with them to make it all perfect like it was the only wedding she was doing. The food was A plus ( in fact even better). We all loved everything about this venue. We highly recommend it.

Stunning location, helpful staff
We were beyond thrilled with the Cruiseport for both our ceremony and reception! It is a stunning space that is extremely well maintained, and it is easy to have a beautiful wedding because the venue is gorgeous as-is. The views are incredible, as well.
Kelsey was a huge help as our onsite coordinator. She went above and beyond, and was so easy to communicate with. She was our fairy godmother—we highly recommend working with her! All of the staff at our wedding, from the waiters to the parking staff, were extremely professional and kind. Everyone at the Cruiseport made the entire process easy for us, which is really important when you are busy planning and wanting to enjoy the big day.
The food was absolutely delicious. We got so many compliments and people saying it was the best wedding food they ever had. We especially got compliments on the cocktail hour between the ceremony and reception, which our guests said was very classy. They appreciated the convenience and wide selection the stationary hors d'oeuvres, especially the cheese.
The Cruiseport was, for our moderate budget, extremely affordable, and Kelsey was very helpful in finding ways for us to save some money and still have a beautiful wedding. If you're on a budget, I recommend booking the Cruiseport during the off-season for amazing savings.
Another aspect our guests appreciated was having the ceremony and reception in the same place, especially since it's cold in here in the winter. It was easy for everyone to park or do valet parking, and then sit back to enjoy the whole evening in one place.
We have nothing but glowing words for the Cruiseport. I highly recommend having your wedding there!

Best Wedding Venue!!
We just had our wedding at the Cruiseport this past weekend and it was so amazing. I still can't believe how perfectly every part of the night went. Our coordinator, Francesca, was so on top of everything and we had many guests comment to us that it was such a well-run event. Everything has just been easy with the Cruiseport, from our initial meeting just to see the venue, to all of the planning, and finally the big day :) It never felt stressful and we felt like we had a lot of support. Everyone loved the food during the cocktail hour, the dinner options were delicious, and the late night soft pretzels and nacho bar were a fun surprise for our guests. Francesca and the rest of the Cruiseport staff are just incredible and I would highly recommend a wedding at the Cruiseport to anyone looking for a venue.

Words cannot express how thankful my husband and I are to Francesca and the entire staff of Cruiseport Gloucester! We had the most amazingly perfect wedding day on September 14, 2018. I knew from the moment we toured Cruiseport Gloucester we were meant to have our reception at this beautiful venue. Francesca was with us from our initial visit to our wedding day...she was always available to answer any questions we had and truly made our special day one that we will never forget. Gorgeous Venue
I Cannot praise the Cruiseport and their staff enough for all of their hard work to make every event so Perfect!! The Ballroom is breathtaking with grand chandeliers, wood floors and large windows to show off the view of Gloucester harbor. One big thing on my list when looking for a venue was a separate room for cocktail hour. When booking the cruiseport, you get the entire facility(two large venue spaces). I still get compliments on how well my wedding ran, and that is all thanks to Francesca, our event Manager. Francesca is AMAZING and really understood my vision and made our wedding look even more beautiful than I could have imagined! I've been to multiple events at the cruiseport and every one is more beautiful than the next.

Amazing Venue with even better staff!
My husband and I had the best experience with Francesca and the Cruiseport Gloucester. The venue is stunning and really doesn't require a ton of decor, which was perfect for our minimalist vision. We got married at Our Lady of Good Voyage before so we didn't have the ceremony on site but that option looked wonderful. Francesca was great from the beginning. She totally understood what we were looking for and was always on hand to answer questions we had leading up to the day. The day of the wedding everything was perfect and there's no doubt in my mind it was because of Francesca and the phenomenal staff at Cruiseport. We didn't have to think of a thing except enjoying ourselves, she was always a step ahead of us and even thought of things we never would have. We can't say enough about our experience with Francesca and the whole Cruiseport team and would highly recommend the venue for any wedding. Thank you!!!

I am SO happy my husband and I decided to go with Cruiseport for our wedding day. We were overwhelmed by all the venues and choices we had to make. When we walked into cruiseport we just had a feeling this would be the venue we would end up getting married at. Compared to other venues we had looked at, we felt like we got so much more for our money. Heather was great, she was so easy to talk to and very flexible. Wedding planning was all new to me. I emailed the office several times asking for advice and with questions about the process and always received a quick response from one of the girls. The day of the wedding when I walked into the cruiseport I was in shock - the room looked beyond amazing, I couldn't believe this was all for us. 4 months later and i am still hearing how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing the food was. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cruiseport and our coordinator Heather. We were on a budget and all our decor was DIY,. I was expecting to come in and set it all up myself but they said they do it all for you! A wonderful and convenient service! The night before I dropped off a bunch of decor, some that had a plan and some that I just told her to do whatever with (bit disorganized and also I didn't really have a vision). The place looked STUNNING! They really went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless. The Vinwood food is incredible, the attention to detail unmatched and the venue itself is stunningly gorgeous. You barely need any decoration at all. Heather walked us through the rehearsal and made sure everything went perfectly smoothly. She understands that the couple has never planned or hosted a wedding before and her expertise guided us every step of the way. TRULY over the top service and a gorgeous venue to hold our wedding at. I could not believe everything they did for us, it was amazing. Another nice thing for planning: no hidden fees. All gratuity, service charges and taxes are all included in the face value prices...no surprises later. And if you're having a winter wedding, no one beats their off-season discount. Truly the best value out there!

The Cruiseport was the first and only venue we looked at. When we looked into The Cruiseport the financial planning piece was easy. Taxes and fees were included, and there wasn't an up charge to plate our cake or some hidden service fee. We decided to bring along our parents for our first venue tour, and the second we walked in we knew we wouldn't need to go anywhere else. The Cruiseport features high ceilings, beautiful/big chandeliers, floor to ceiling windows overlooking the harbor, twinkly tea lights in every window, cozy fireplaces, and so much more. We loved it all. We met with one of the coordinators and worked on some pricing and set a date that day!
At our first meeting with our coordinator a few months prior to the wedding we were starting to get a little anxious and overwhelmed. That is when we met Tiffini White, and all of those negative feelings were gone. Tiffini was bright, bubbly, professional, and kind. She answered most of my questions before I even had a chance to ask. We left that meeting with an organized checklist to complete, and a much more positive and relaxed outlook. Tiffini was there for us anytime we needed her, and her response time was quick.
The day/night of our wedding we couldn't have been more happy. Everything looked perfect. Tiffini and her team paid attention to every little detail, and exceeded all expectations. Tiffini kept us organized and calm. So many of my friends and family commented on how accommodating everyone at The Cruiseport was all night. Whether someone needed a piece of tape or extra sauce someone was always right there to help. Vinwood caterers also exceeded all expectations. We received so much positive feedback about the food, and some of our guests inquired about hiring them for other events. We are so happy we chose The Cruiseport. We had the best day/night of our lives, and our friends and families did too!

We booked all of our wedding festivities through Cruiseport Gloucester and their partner properties from the wedding itself (ceremony and reception), to the rehearsal dinner on the Beauport Princess enjoying a sunset dinner cruise with dancing (highly recommend), to our accommodations at the brand new Beauport Hotel… and we are SO glad we did. Everything was absolutely magnificent and we could not have asked for a more perfect wedding weekend- even with all of the chaos that comes along with St. Peter’s Fiesta that happened to be the same weekend. For our wedding, we had the pleasure of working directly with Heather, our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely fabulous and always on top of things. She made the entire planning process and wedding day go by absolutely stress free and without a hitch. Everything we envisioned in terms of décor was completely brought to life and truly breathtaking. The ambiance of the venue and classic and romantic décor touches made it feel like something out of a movie. Heather was very speedy and responsive with emails and phone calls (as are all of the coordinators there) and on the wedding day was always right there for us and made our night run so smoothly. The rest of the staff , including the bartenders and wait staff, were extremely friendly and provided excellent service. We heard great things when planning about the food catered by Vinwood, and we were not disappointed... the food was absolutely excellent! Guests raved about the Hors d’oeuvres (which were plentiful the entire cocktail hour) and the entrée’s (Prime Rib, Spring Chicken, Butternut Squash Ravioli). We received so many compliments from all of our guests with regards to everything- the food, venue, staff, etc. We are so happy we chose Cruiseport Gloucester as our venue, it truly could have not been more perfect. The Cruiseport was everything I envisioned my Wedding to be. Tall ceilings, Beautiful hardwood floors, windows and fireplaces. It is just gorgeous Inside and out. Not to mention it is right on the water. All of the staff here were so professional and kind as well. My wedding planner was Heather and she was so awesome. Such a nice person to work with. Really got my vision and went above and beyond to achieve that. Always answered my questions or concerns asap. The food is just amazing here also. Everyone is raving about how delicious their meals were. I would highly recommend any couple to have their wedding here. It is simply a beautiful venue.

My fiancé and I loved Cruiseport Gloucester from the moment we stepped foot into the venue. The aesthetic of the venue is even more beautiful in person. The chandeliers, vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and windows are fantastic and elegant - exactly the look we were going for. Cruiseport Gloucester is so beautiful inside and outside that we won't need to "break the budget" to decorate this venue. We met with Beth and she was amazing. She answered most of our questions without us even having to ask them! We met some of the other staff as well and everyone (from valet to the catering staff and everyone in between) was so friendly and pleasant. We loved that this venue is right on the water and has a gorgeous feel. The town is an adorable, quaint fishing town. We can't say enough good things about this venue and location. We are so excited to have our 2017 wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester!!

My wedding team of Bridget and Sheree were nothing short of amazing?? My wedding day was the best day of my life and I owe it all to Cruiseport! While planning my wedding I was also packing up to move to another state the day after my wedding, starting a renovation and also preparing to start up a new territory for my job and I can honestly say the only thing I didn't need to worry about was my fabulous wedding planner and venue! Cruiseport is the place to have your wedding if you would like an all-around fantastic wedding! First off, everyone at Cruiseport was so incredibly nice, easy to work with, flexible, and accommodating. The entire staff were simply wonderful and kind people. The venue is gorgeous, with great windows, very clean and elegant, with hardwood floors, painted walls, chandeliers, and two fire places. Our guests also said that it was some of the best wedding food they ever had. We had a winter wedding, and our guests have sent us a number of emails and Facebook messages saying that it was one of the best that they have been to, which I attribute a good deal to Cruiseport.

We had our wedding at Cruiseport on Halloween weekend and it was perfect. We booked the venue about 10 months in advance and were assigned a wedding coordinator to help us through the whole process. About three months before our wedding, the coordinator assigned to us left her position and we were assigned to someone else. It's safe to say that we were nervous that this was happening so close to our wedding date, but it turned out to be a blessing. While we liked our original coordinator, she had clearly been there a long time and wasn’t open to many ideas and kind of told us how she thought our wedding should go. Our new coordinator was Erica Curtis and we loved her! (As well as Heather, who was there helping our whole wedding day.) She helped us plan, gave suggestions when we needed it, and basically just handled everything. Obviously the weekend of the wedding can be a little hectic, but she had everything covered and I truly didn’t worry about anything after speaking with her during our drop off time, which was the day before. I wish I knew all of the names of the staff members who worked our event because they were all great and, truthfully, so kind. We did the ceremony, cocktail hour, pictures, and reception all in one location, which was so easy for us and for our guests. The venue is obviously beautiful, as you can see from all of the pictures, but I can’t say enough nice things about the whole experience and how easy planning our wedding through Cruiseport really was.

From the moment that we toured The Cruiseport we knew that it was going to be the place where we would celebrate our wedding day. I loved the gorgeous hardwood floors, floor to ceiling weddings (that look fabulous when lit with candles), outside deck, and stunning chandeliers. I had heard many great things about the venue and its staff members. Anyone who had ever attended always raved about how spectacular it was. Meeting with Ellen sealed the deal for me. I knew instantly that I had made the right decision when we sat down and she put me at ease. Ellen answered any question that my family or myself had, in person, via email or over the phone. It got to the point where I would look forward to our meetings just to hang out and see the Cruiseport all over again! For me Ellen helped to make the overwhelming process of planning a wedding far less stressful. The day of our wedding it was amazing to see our complete vision come true. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The entire venue was set up EXACTLY the way I had envisioned. Ellen checked in on my husband and I throughout the night and reminded us of the little things that we would’ve probably forgotten to do because we were having so much fun! She guided us through the night without being in the way. People still tell us how much fun they had at our wedding, how gorgeous the Cruiseport was and how attentive and kind their entire staff was that evening. The food and drinks were all delicious and everyone raved about it all! Even when unlikely events came up, Ellen and her staff handled them without inconveniencing anyone. Clean up was effortless for us. Everything was all packed up for us at the end of the night so we could pick up our things the next morning. In my opinion there is not a prettier venue around! I am waiting for another event in my life to come up so I can plan it at the Cruiseport! ;)

I am so happy with my decision to make Cruiseport my reception location. I continue to get compliments on how beautiful everything was!! They were so professional and took care of everything, making my day stress free! Beth really was the absolute best! The floor to ceiling windows are BEAUTIFUL.. We had our rehearsal dinner on the Beauport Princess. The boat was beautiful and the food was amazing. We had a lobster bake and our guests absolutely loved it! The tables were set beautifully with everything you needed to eat some lobster. Drinks were also very good. The DJ that was there that night also catered to us even though there were other people on the first deck of the boat. We had amazing weather and a beautiful sunset!

5 stars is an understatement for this venue and their staff. Working with event managers such as Ellen, Jamie and others from Cruisport made my weekend even more spectacular than I could have ever imagined. The room looked beautiful, everything was placed exactly where I wanted and the service was outstanding. I am still getting texts and calls from guests about the staff from Cruiseport. Ellen checked in with me multiple times throughout the night to hand me a drink or help with anything I needed. She set up the candy bar, late night snacks throughout the night without having to bother me with the process. I would recommend this venue to anyone, anyday! Ellen was our wedding coordinator for our special day. She not only coordinated our event, but she provided advice related to all parts of our wedding. Her upbeat personality made working with her so easy. I felt as if I gained a friend through this process. She was prompt to respond to any questions we had up until the day of the wedding. During the night of the wedding, she checked on us numerous times to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and were satisfied. Our wedding ceremony and reception were pure magic. Bridget was so very professional and accommodating. We even had a few last minute emergencies (like needing to find and new officiate only 10 days before the wedding) and she was amazingly helpful. When we showed up for the wedding, the venue looked absolutely stunning, vendors were coordinated perfectly and everything ran smoothly - and to my husband and me - it seemed like magic. We used the Cruiseport as our reception venue and it was absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the service we received both prior to and on the day-of the wedding! Our guests have raved to us that we had the best wedding ever and set the bar way too high, and I highly attribute this to Ellen (our wedding coordinator) and her staff at the Cruiseport. Their on-site caterer, Vinwood, had the most delicious food and the filet mignon was cooked perfectly - we had multiple guests rave about the food and especially the passed cocktails (bride prosecco and groom jameson/ginger!) Selling points for me were no wedding carpet (all hardwood floors, a dream for me! Plus more room for dancing!) the floor to ceiling windows with the tealights at night, and the beautiful deck just outside which our guests enjoyed on the perfect October night we had! I knew anytime that I reached out that I would receive a response as soon as possible, and Ellen did an amazing job of bringing my vision to life from the box of "stuff" that we dropped off on the day prior to the wedding. This is truly an amazing venue with a great staff and I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get married on the water!

The Cruiseport staff was amazing, and I highly recommend them. We had booked the Harbor View Room for a brunch the day after our wedding. We were on a tight budget, and the staff was very attentive to that. We, at different points, interacted with every member of Cruiseport’s wedding team, and each person was responsive and professional.
Unfortunately, our initial venue went bankrupt a few months before our wedding. We had no idea what to do, so we immediately called the Cruiseport to help wrap our heads around the situation. Bridget dropped everything to meet with us. She showed us all of the spaces for the wedding ceremony and reception, she offered to credit our lost deposit at the initial venue, and she helped us brainstorm about what we would do for hotel rooms and all of the other details. We ended up booking at a different venue that had hotel rooms, but we were very impressed with the Cruiseport.
We ended up changing the date of our wedding, and the Cruiseport seamlessly changed our brunch to the new weekend. The brunch itself was fantastic. People raved about the food, and the staff checked in regularly. They even served our leftover ice cream cake from the wedding reception the night before.
I highly recommend the Cruiseport for any event. They were the easiest vendor to work with and everything ran so smoothly.

Our guests raved about the food (we got the Chicken New England and the Filet & Lobster Tail for the entrees); the venue looked magnificent; and every single detail was managed perfectly. After the wedding, I continued to tell people about how I couldn't believe that everything had come together so well. From start to finish, they were 100% in control.
Kathryn's responsiveness was amazing. Any time I had a question or issue, Kathryn got back to me with a solution on the same day - even in cases where she had to follow up with other outside vendors. Additionally, if I ever called Cruiseport with a question and Kathryn was not in the office, the staff was always more than willing to help me in her absence. The entire team's responsiveness and professionalism was outstanding.
I still can't get over how flexible Cruiseport was throughout the process. They let us choose the vegetarian option (after we tasted the butternut squash ravioli at the tasting and fell in love). They brought in a bottle of our favorite champagne for our sweetheart table. They even let me bring our centerpieces, chargers, and other decor to the venue several days before the wedding - which relieved a lot of stress for me the day before). They worked with us to make sure that every detail was perfect.
I am so grateful to the Cruiseport for giving us the best night of our lives. I cannot say enough about how great it was to work with Kathryn and the team and how strongly I recommend this venue to others.

Our wedding was amazing....and the process to get to the wedding day was wonderful, thanks to Ellen at Cruiseport Gloucester. When we went looking at wedding venues, we were blown away by the amazing venue, the responsiveness and kindness of the coordinators, and the value. We booked our date quickly as we were very happy with everything from the get-go. We knew we had found a gem! From the consultations with Ellen, to the emails, and step by step process, we couldn't have done it without Ellen. She is awesome and really has a passion for her job. Cruiseport Gloucester is not only beautiful, but the food through Vinwood Caterers (only option) was amazing at both the tasting and our wedding. Our guests were raving about our food from cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert. Everything was perfect. Our guests loved the views out back, the patio area during the reception, and the helpfulness and kindness of all the staff during our wedding was truly noted. I wouldn't change anything about our wedding at Cruiseport Gloucester. And, when you do pick Cruiseport, ask for Ellen. She is truly one of the best.

We walked into the Cruiseport and I knew immediately it was where I wanted to have our reception. The venue is absolutely beautiful, Ellen was our wedding planner and she was excellent, and the price was very reasonable compared to other venues we looked it. The food was great and our guests enjoyed having drinks on the outdoor deck. We had an amazing wedding day and I wouldn't change a thing.

Can I give this review more than 5 stars? The Cruiseport Gloucester is just a beautiful venue with outstanding service. From the wait staff, complimentary valet, the patio with heated lamps, beautiful crystal chandeliers, no ugly carpets/ gleaming hard wood floors, chivalry chairs, beautiful linens, I can go on and on. I had the pleasure of working with Ellen and she was so focused on our wedding being the way we wanted. Her focus was to make us happy and thats exactly what she did. We had a Pakistani wedding reception that was new to Cruiseport and the venue assisted with setting up my stage, assisted with lining up the introduction (which could have been chaos because you were dealing with 17 girls); they took the time to understand tradition, culture and food. My parents were concerned with the food because they have never been but I have already been there 3 times for other weddings and the food was delicious. Anyways, Ellen set up a meeting with the chef and he was so detailed in explaining what they were making that my parents left there with their mouths watering. Ellen answered every call, every email: she truly made the planning more fun than stressful. And even during the wedding, I noticed she was on point with everything. Frequently asking Bobby and I if we needed anything, checked with our guests if they were fine. Here's maybe too much information: I had my Invisalign wrapped in napkin while I ate dinner, her staff cleared my table and Ellen managed to find it. Too much information? Maybe. But bottom line: Ellen, her team, her staff and Cruiseport as a whole were AMAZING! The best choice. I hope I get the opportunity to host another big event, maybe celebrate our 1 year anniversary and do it all over again :). Ok ... 25th :) xo Love you Cruiseport!!!

It's hard to find the words to express how fantastic our experience was, with not only the Cruiseport, but with Ellen in particular. Her email responses were prompt and friendly. She was incredibly patient with my million questions and took the time to get to know not only me, but my groom and my parents. Being a teacher, my hours are pretty set in stone, but Ellen was very flexible with meeting times. Everyone was completely comfortable and relaxed for our big day. During the reception I would see Ellen out of the corner of my eye taking care of every detail. I used a lot of the Cruiseport's preferred vendors, Audrey's Flower Shop and Beniot-McCarthy photography and both were excellent as well.

Ellen was amazing with all my wedding planning details at the Cruiseport! She was always available and very helpful with ALL my many questions. She even helped my maid of honor bustle my dress during the wedding reception. She is a truly a hands-on, superb event planner and made our big day even more special with all the attention she gave to our every need!

I really can't say enough about my experience at the Cruiseport. Our wedding was absolutely perfect! We had some different ideas and Kathryn (Ellen, Beth) were extremely accommodating to our "vision." They handled every aspect with the utmost professionalism. I would HIGHLY recommend any couple that is looking for a gorgeous waterfront venue, an exceptional staff to make every step of your process an easy one, and to know that your wedding will be everything you imagined, to check out Cruiseport. My one complaint.....my wedding is over! Thank you to the entire staff for everything...you made our day more perfect than imaginable.

This review is long overdue, but all I can say is that everything was absolutely fantastic! Bridget made the day of beyond smooth, and answered all of our questions quickly. Everything was well worth every penny spent. The best part about Cruiseport I found compared to other venues was their flexibility and fairness. Thanks for the best day ever!

Kathryn was amazing. I really felt she went out of her way to make our day special. She helped create our vision exactly. She was friendly with all our relatives and friends and helped everyone have a wonderful night. She set the exact mood and intimacy we envisioned using candles and lighting. Working with her felt like working with a friend, she just knew what would make the night even more special.

My family and I had looked at numerous venues for our wedding. When I walked into cruiseport I knew I wanted my wedding to be at this venue. Everyone who attended our wedding talked highly about how elegant the room was, how the food was excellent, and how it was the best wedding the had ever been too. My husband and I were taken care of the whole night by Ellen and her staff. Anything we needed they were right there. Cruiseport made my day the one I have been dreaming of. It was a perfect celebration with family and friends and exactly what we wanted. Thank you for all of your hard work, it was truly appreciated.

I cannot say enough good things about the cruiseport! Not only is it so beautiful inside and outside the, people that work there are so professional, helpful and at your service. Kathryn was our wedding Coordinator and she was amazing she helped make our day so perfect and special! I emailed and called so many times over the year before I was getting married and they were always so patient and helpful with all of my questions or needs. The place itself is just so beautiful I got so many compliments and I was so happy with our special day. I would highly recommend the cruise port to anybody getting married at any time of the year!

Absolutely amazing venue! It is both comfortable and very classy. Kathryn was our event coordinator, and she was so helpful and relaxed, and everything turned out beautifully. Vinwood is phenomenal. Great prices for open bar! Everyone loved the stations, I think it is the best way to go for food. Go for the raw bar, it looked so pretty in the dining room :)
