This venue was absolutely beautiful! The service was outdoors on a wonderful day and the reception was indoors. All the staff were friendly and accommodating and the food was absolutely outstanding! My family is still talking about the potatoes, vegetable medley and the tri-tip! I would highly recommend this venue for anyone looking to get married!

The Croatian American Cultural Center is a ballroom venue with a stage that provides delicious catering service and allows you to bring your own alcoholic beverages. The expertise of the staff assures that all the small details of the event will be taken care of: the tables, linens, appetizers, bar tenders and servers are are part of the wonderful services this venue provides. Additionally, this venue has a bridal suite for the bridal party's use that fits 25 comfortably to get ready. This venue portrays classic elegance and the staff is flexible to allow outside vendors for evening desserts or after party snacks. The venue staff works with Ettores and can provide you a nice discount. I highly recommend this venue for couples who want a one stop shop, with peace of mind and flexibility to do extra special details in your wedding involving outside vendors.

We had our reception here and it was absolutely fantastic! Right from the start we knew we were in good hands. One of my favorite parts was that all the services and vendors we used were either provided by the Croatian Center or we referred to those familiar with the venue. It was so easy and convenient. We had such a great time at our wedding and would highly recommend this venue!

Me and my husband are so glad we decided to go with this venue for our wedding and we are so happy we did ,the service was phenomenal and mike the owner of the venue assured me that everything was going to go smoothly and it did our guest had a great time and everything was a success .i would recommend this venue to anybody looking for a beautiful venue,and the food was to die for ,overall it was perfect .

Absolutely Gorgeous! Mike (coordinator) made us feel like family it was a wonderful expierence and the most beautiful venue! It is a one stop shop with the ceremony and recepetion being able to be held at the same place, plus the food is amazing AND they provide bar service with no corking or cake cutting fee!

We had attended a wedding at this venue a couple of years before my daughters wedding when she fell in love with it and dreamed of having her own reception here. When she became engaged, we made one appointment with only one venue...Croation Americal Cultural Center. We met with Mike Zupan. I was hesitant since I had heard he was a bit gruff. Hardly! He was awesome! We went with the attitude that we wanted him to help direct us with what works best as this is the job he does year round and we would only be planning one wedding. His experience out weighed ours by a lot! So glad we did! Mike totally knows what works best and what ends up looking the most beautiful! He worked within our budget and made this an amazing night to remember. His staff was professonal and our guests raved about how good the food was! Mike keeps this venue PERFET! The chairs are so nice, the carpet is clean and every detail is attended to. The deep wood bar area is absolutely gorgeous! Throughout the night our guests kept telling us how classically beautiful this venue is. Only downside is that you have to turn into the parking lot right by the mini mart. But once you pass this, it opens up into these palatial, gorgeous, maicured grounds. I liken it to driving through Anaheim and then stepping into Disneyland! Easily something I could overlook. The best part...I didnt have to think about anything that night except my daughter getting married. Mike took care of the rest. He made that night so special for all of us. Book it if you can. You wont be disappointed!

Our wedding was phenominal. This venue was absolutely perfect. The grounds are kept spotless, the staff are amazing and the food is out of this world. When my husband and I visited the CACC we knew in an instant that it was to be where we got married. Mike was wonderful throughout our year of planning and on our wedding weekend he made me feel like the most important person in the room. Everything we needed was available. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We have received SO many compliments on how delicious the food was - and it's true. What a wonderful meal to have during such a special day for us. Thanks to everyone at the CACC for making our wedding day perfect. You all run a very well oiled machine and we are so thankful to have found you!

The Croatian American Cultural Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. They coordinate everything for you, the make the food----which is amazing! The location is hidden which makes it even more spectacular. For anyone who is getting married they book up fast, you must check it out..

We are so glad that we booked the Croatian Center for our wedding reception. It is simply beautiful inside and out (making great pcitures). And being tucked in off the street, it really gives you a sense of privacy for your event.

The events coordinator, Mr. Zupan, can be a little scary at first, but you can tell he really cares about his reputation, and is dedicated to a job well done. The attention to detail was amazing, and he really went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. For me, this place was all about the little things. When Mike found out we were doing the centerpieces ourselves, he allowed us to use the centers candles at no extra cost. When I had trouble fitting my guests into groups of 8 or 10, Mr. Zupan said he would set up as many tables as I wanted. Also, when we had trouble deciding on our four appetizers, Zupan offered to split our trays (so we'd have 5 appetizers), at no extra cost- just to keep our guests happy.

The food itself is another thing that was just simply amazing. Everything was delicious, presented beautifully, there was more than enough to go around, and they even packed-up the extras so we could enjoy our wedding emal the next day. Delicious- I can't wait to be invited to a wedding there- just to eat the food again.

Another benefit of this place- they let you stock your own bar. Even with just a few trips to Costo, BevMo, and our favorite winery, we had all we needed, and saved a ton of money.

The CACC was an absolutely amazing venue. I had both the ceremony and reception there and I couldn't be happier with the service! The ballroom and grounds are gorgeous and gave my photographer so many options. While Mike is a stern man, he makes sure everything happens when it is supposed to and you can tell he really cares about making the event run as smoothly as possible.

The food was excellent! All my guests commented that it was best food at a wedding they had ever had. Plus, any leftovers are packaged up for you to take home...perfect for a "day after wedding" brunch with friends and family. I honestly think picking the CACC was the best decision I made for my wedding...I knew I didn't have to worry about anything!

If you're looking for a venue with easy freeway access, great food, a beautiful ballroom, and professional service at a great price, the Croatian American Cultural Center is the ONLY choice in Sacramento!

I held my wedding reception here after a big church wedding. My husband/mom and I met with Mike, the wedding coordinator here several times. Although he may come off as abrupt and cranky, he is wonderful and professional. Everything he promised was PERFECT on our wedding day. The food was TO DIE FOR and everyone loved the overall look of the reception. The centerpieces he put together were so nice and everything was picture perfect, even the linens and bar set-up. This venue already has all tables, chairs, place settings, linens, bar, and dance floor, making it much easier for everything to come together. Mike works so well with other vendors as well and has great recommendations! I would absolutely recommend this venue for a big wedding in Sacramento.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Great value and a beautiful location.

The Croatian-American Cultural Center is a hidden gem! It's such a gorgeous location and they have made many improvements recently inside & out. The CACC is also a great value compared to some other places in the Sacramento area - reasonably priced food (that tastes GREAT!), no cake cutting fee, no corkage fee, and several different options for the bar. Only downside is that the event coordinator, Mike, can only be reached by phone - he doesn't do email or computers. He also runs things in a highly regimented way, so not as flexible as it could be, but things will run smoothly if you just go with it.

Beautiful Place if you are planning on doing Ceremony outside and very nice inside for the reception. You can have you caterers.

Love this place! Large enough to fit our massive families and they had everything! Tables, linens, bar, staff, caterer, candleabras, lighting, projector/screen, and more. Prices were very reasonable especially for everything you get and the food was deelish! Our wedding was beautiful and stress free on the day of, thanks to the staff at the Croatian Center.

I would definitely recomend this place to anyone!

Mike Zupan is very professional and experienced. He can provide valuable money saving options. His recommendations in all areas always work the best.

We heard great things about CACC and had attended a wedding there. The grounds and building are perfect for a wedding. It turned out to be BEAUTIFUL AND FUN. However, over all our opinion of the Croatian has been tainted. Considering we were so excited to be using that location we felt that through the whole process they were a bit “aloof”. It seemed that our several meetings with them did not result in any hard facts or plans and were often pointless. We never saw them write down any of the things we wanted and SEVERAL of the things we specifically covered more than once did not happen. The food was delicious but a bit sparse, the beer was in bottles not the promised kegs and though they were supposed to back our liquor they ran out of Vodka! The desert provided to supplement the cake never got served...The bar issues in particular were covered at EVERY meeting with them. The overall impression they left on us was very “take it or leave it”. They were not concerned at all with our event specifically and throughout made us feel like one in an assembly line. If we had fallen off the line they would not have cared or noticed. (Anita was an exception to all of the above and truly saved the day).

I think they're an amazing venue and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking for an awesome open bar option, a ceremony and reception venue in one location and AMAZING food!!! All for a really reasonable $$. That said, the venue coordinator is kind of a pain to work with. He's pretty stern, doesn't talk to you about linens or centerpieces, etc until 2 weeks before the wedding, and discourages outside coordinators. I recommend getting an outside coordinator just so that someone else can deal with the stern-ness. But, honestly, a 5 star place all the way!
