We had an amazing experience working with Complete Weddings + Events, who provided our photographer, videographer, and DJ services. From start to finish, their team was professional, responsive, and dedicated to making our wedding day perfect.
Our photographers, Trevor and Erin, made sure that everyone felt comfortable in front of the camera and captured every special moment with creativity and skill. Alexis, our videographer, created a beautiful video that perfectly captured the emotions and highlights of the day. Our DJ, Tommy B, was fantastic - he was open to every request we threw his way, kept the party going all night, and fired our cold sparks at just the right times.
Complete Weddings + Events made the planning process seamless and stress-free. Their team coordinated everything flawlessly, and their attention to detail was evident in every aspect of their service. DJ Fondue was perfect! We loved his enthusiasm from our very first phone call with him. He kept the party going as long as he could, did everything we asked, and even came up to check on us periodically. Our favorite thing is that he gave us a handwritten card; it was so unexpected and sweet! He's clearly great at what he does!Complete Weddings + Events Omaha's reply:

Oh but I have so much to say, but don’t even have the words for it! 1) my DJ was super rad! Loved Harrison!! 2) my amazing photographer that I built an amazing relationship with unfortunately got diagnosed with covid couple days prior to my wedding- ahhh However- complete called me right away and gave me a replacement! Also- super rad human and she did amazing things without a stress to me at all! 3) easy to contact, communicate with, and everything ran so smooth! Our DJ was Emily Knaub located in Lincoln and she was fantastic. The company was very easy to talk with and figure out what we needed. Emily was upbeat and so much fun. The only thing I wished they would change especially during a pandemic is roll over deposits towards the final bill if you change a service. -

J Sent on 11/07/2017DJ Mikey C. was nothing short of AMAZING! We had an older crowd and didn't want a rager, but we wanted to make sure people were on the dance floor all night. He exceeded our expectations. He definitely played to the crowd, starting with some 1940s & 50s swing all the way up to today's hits. Each decade was hit, with just the right emphasis. He had all the music we wanted for our "special dances." Everyone was super impressed with the variety and song selection.
I'd highly recommend DJ Mikey from Complete if you need some great music or an entertaining Emcee. He can keep the party going! -

He took the lead and helped keep the wedding organized and kept our guests dancing and laughing! It was a blast! I would recommend them for your next event! -

He had dinner go for a good hour and a half and I just wanted to cut the cake and get our dances in before we could start the dancing. Otherwise, great company to work with. -

The only complaint I have is that there was a mishap with the sound system at the ceremony and I ended up walking down the aisle to the wrong song.
Otherwise it was great. -

We really enjoyed meeting Josh our DJ and Zach our videographer! They were courteous and professional from start to finish. We had changed our first dance song had changed a couple times in corresponding with Josh and on the big day, he ended up playing an older version of our first dance song (Dancing in the Moonlight) that we had changed "Real Love Baby" as our final pick. On the day-of, he played Dancing in the Moonlight and while it was unexpected, we are very glad for the happy accident because it was up-beat and got everyone excited! We did request no group-dance songs but he ended up playing one that may have been requested by a guest? We don't recall hearing many songs from the reception playlist we sent by email but all in all it was fine. Videographer was great! Miranda Sent on 10/12/2015We used Complete Music for our DJ, videography & photo booth. We loved our DJ, Nikki! She was awesome with the adults & kids at our wedding. She kept all the music appropriate, regardless of requests, & was very flexible with exactly how we wanted our day to go. She provided music for our ceremony & for our reception. She was fabulous! Our videographer, Jordan, was awesome! Our final product completely exceeded our expectations! Most of the day he was invisible & it wasn't until the end of the night I finally saw the second videographer. You guys made our wedding a success!
The one service I was disappointed with was the photo booth. No one contacted me before our wedding about the hours I wanted the booth there. I had relayed the information to Complete about custom photo booth props being provided by me. They did not make it to the booth & I wasn't asked about them either. I'm not sure when the screen went out, but by the time I went to the photo booth the screen was no longer working. The attendant was yelling through the curtain as to which way we needed to move so we were in the picture. Also, no one told me I was supposed to wait for my photo book at the end of the night so I had to drive 45 mins to downtown Omaha to pick it up. I thought it would have been appropriate to refund a part of the money we paid for the photo booth. -

He was the best Emcee and really catered to our needs, even helping me with my plate! He was very flexible! The photo booth was fun for everyone and we got a keepsake album with all the photos. -

He played music that everyone loves to dance to (old and some new) but all familiar stuff =) Everyone had a blast at the wedding and there wasnt ever a time where noone was dancing =) -

We had a good experience with our DJ. The DJ i had originally hired called the week of the wedding saying he was ill, so we got a substitute. Nothing they could help, and he was professional and fine. Only issue I had was that they request you oay an extra $100 for the "platinum" DJ. Pretty much saying that their services are not the same and if you pay the extra $100 you'd get a "good" DJ. -

We absolutely loved the photobooth we got with Complete, we hoped the photobooth was a bit bigger but that's the closest thing to an issue we had with it.
The DJ, was a completely different story. People often say something will go wrong the day of your wedding, ours was the DJ. Originally when I contacted Complete about a DJ I was very adamant about requesting a spanish speaking DJ who is familiar with spanish music (I'm Cuban). Complete said they had a DJ named Luis who was perfect for our wedding (mind you, this was booked almost a year in advance). A few days before the wedding, all of a sudden our DJ's name was Mark and we had no explanation of what happened. We tried to troubleshoot just in case Mark wasn't familiar with the music we wanted. We compiled a list long enough to fill every song at the wedding played with the exact titles and artists we wanted. The day of, I ended up micromanaging the DJ to make sure our music was getting played.
If you're looking into Complete, I would see if you can go to a show where the DJ is doing their thing. We're very disappointed that we never got clarification on what in the world happened to 'Luis' who is the DJ that never came even though we inquired about it when we found out that our DJ was now named Mark. You do not want to spend your wedding night micromanaging every song that is played. Nonverbal feedback was also not received very well. Before I stepped in to micromanage, many guests were very obviously communicating how awful the music was and nothing was being done. At least none of our 'do not play' list was played. But again, I'd think twice about this company. -

We chose Arieus from Complete Weddings based on reviews, video and interview. We were ecstatic that he was upbeat, exciting and could do flips! He presented himself well at first and appeared to be experienced. We provided a list of songs we wanted along with links so he could download the songs and create playlists in advance. The day of our matrimony arrived and our DJ fumbled the football on multiple fronts. Our venue was out in the country and in a place he did a wedding the week before. The problem with that is that he relied entirely on WiFi and cell data. The venue was in such a remote location that WiFi and cell data is unreliable. He did not have a contingency plan for our music. We were lead to believe that by providing a song list with links that all songs would be downloaded and ready to go the day of our wedding. We did not even know that we needed to ask if the music was purchased and downloaded and not streamed. We are appalled that anyone anywhere would rely on internet or cell data for such an important event. We were led to believe that Complete Weddings had a full library of music that was already purchased and the ability and capability to purchase and download music they did not already have. The songs he was able to get to play on our wedding day were not the versions of the songs we wanted. There were several songs not played from our "must have" playlist nor our entrance song. The entrance song is a song the groom wanted the most as it was perfect for us, it had never used before as a wedding party entrance song and therefore unique - it would not stream.
Anytime he ran into trouble with streaming his music, he acted like the victim and wanted the bride and groom to feel sorry for him. He also failed to work with our videographer for sound, set up for playing videos we wanted played. He failed to work with our videographer when we he ensured to us during the interview that he would. We also emailed Complete Weddings through their website the next day while travelling on our honeymoon about our less than desirable experience with their services and overall poor experience with Arieus. We still have not gotten a response by email or by phone call. We are not happy with Complete Wedding’s responsiveness or customer service. We haven’t even gotten a “we are sorry” or even a “thank you for choosing Compete”.
Go somewhere else, our wedding was four months ago and we are still upset that the music, which is the lifeblood of the reception, was not on par with what was presented to us or expected.

My experience with Complete was not a good one. First, my photographer (Jami ) and videographer (Zack) were late. When they finally showed up, they rushed through the sessions, resulting in some pics that were less than impressive. More importantly, they didn't get the shots the we SPECIFICALLY talked about. Some of the shots that they missed were able to be reenacted, but others, like the First Touch, were not. When I talked to the photographer about it, she just said "Sorry, I've just talked to so many brides." (This was not a satisfactory answer to me) I reached out to Complete about this event and I was given the choice of a $300 refund or a free "Love Story" video shoot. My wife and I opted to go with the video shoot for fun. This was in October 2021. Alexis Reed, the videographer, is no longer with the company but has still promised our video to us several times. Most recently, she said she would have it to us "by the end of next week." That was in February. It's now April and I have lost all patience and faith in this company. I paid upfront and our DJ did not play any of our songs we asked. We ended up telling him to leave after playing terrible music for 3 hours. I paid for 4 hours. I was aked how I liked it and someone was supposed to get back within 24 hours. No one called. Do not ever pay upfront and would not recommend this to anyone. Terrible experience and not even an apology or refund. we were married August 31 2019 and didn't even hear from our DJ until 3 days before our wedding. -

Hi fellow Brides-to-be! I want to share a quick wedding horror story that hopefully will help some of you out. We booked a DJ with Complete Weddings + Events last spring for our October 2019 wedding. We booked Alex Li, who we saw at several other weddings so we knew he was amazing. Thinking that our DJ was taken care of, we didn't think about it again. We ran into Alex at a wedding event late this summer and learned that he was no longer going to be our DJ due to a recent promotion. He assured us that he would still be at the wedding but to supervise the new DJ who was at this point, undetermined. Then about a month ago I reached out to Complete to see who the new DJ was since all their other top DJs were booked way in advance. It was then that I learned Alex would not be at our wedding to supervise because he was relocating. Some other DJ that he recommended was going to reach out to us to set up a meet. I did not hear from them or anyone else for over two weeks, when I called again I was finally able to schedule a meet up with my new DJ, Heath. My fiance and I were hesitant about the new guy but didn't feel like we had much a choice so close to our wedding. So we met him and actually really liked him in person. He told us he would send out some recommendations for music but then we never heard back from him again. This past Monday evening, we reached out to him to set up our final meeting and pass along information from the reception venue, and he again told us he would send recommendations and we confirmed a meeting for the week of our wedding. Then Tuesday morning, I get a call from someone claiming they are my DJ and we need to meet so they can get info for my event. I immediately called Heath to be sent to voicemail. I called the Complete office and they told me that on Monday, Heath came into the office to inform them he had a family emergency and would not be able to attend our wedding. But he had mentioned none of this when making plans to meet with us. They then told us me about the new DJ they assigned to us. Through all of this, Complete never apologized. Our deposit was a gift to us from a friend, so they also are refusing to refund it to either of us. There was absolutely so concern for us and and complete lack of any customer service on their part. I know they offer good rates and a variety of services, but with them you really get what you pay for. And in our case, it turned out to be a huge headache the week before our special day that left us scrambling to find a DJ who will work with only an 11 day notice.
