Wow. I didn't know I could give half a star, but I can and am. Olga is nice, but NOT a professional. I should have known that YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR and for my May 2011 wedding, I should have paid more b/c at the end of the day, MY PHOTOGRAPHER fixed my hair b/c Olga couldn't. She did a decent job w/ my bridesmaids, but completely went off the reservation with me, the bride. I think she would be great for a prom or a night out on the town, but DEFINITELY DO NOT USE HER FOR YOUR WEDDING HAIR... unless you're a bridesmaid or a guest at a wedding. If you're the bride, you will be unhappy. I repeat: pay a little bit more for real quality at a salon or highly recommended stylist. I made the mistake of finding Olga thru Craigslist. NOT A GOOD WAY TO GO and I def learned my lesson. Beware.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING UPDATE posted on 9/6/11: Olga sent me a diatribe based on my poor review. Based on the length of her response, I think it's fair to say that the client does NOT come first when it comes to working with Olga. Again, be smart and read between the lines (and all these super positive reviews, which I do not believe to be independent reviews, since they vaguely sound all the same and were probably written by Olga and her friends): rather than apologize, Olga's response was defensive and angry -- is this really the type of hairdresser you want ON YOUR WEDDING DAY? There's enough stress going on that day, so I will reiterate my point: You get what you pay for and I REALLY made a big mistake by not paying more and getting someone of higher quality and skill. I really wish I had spent more money and hired someone else. If I knew then what I know now, I definitely would have paid 2 or 3 times more than what I negotiated with Olga b/c the stress was not worth her cheap price. Good luck.

I can say what did YOU do with the response I wrote to you after your review that says first; OH WOW I DIDNT NOW I CAN IVE HALF A STAR .... I wrote a long book for you to read and others to see , what happened to it. Neither you or WW seems to know what happened to my long respnse. I will tell you I have everything in my computer.. Most likely I'm sure you erased it because you didn't want people to know anything do you?
I dont tell my brides to give me all 5's at all. They do the review and choose what they feel they want to give me. Not everyone gives me 5's so I dont expect it. All the reviews show the brides love my work and service that I provide to them. Watch what you say about CHEAP, you DIDN"T want to pay 75.00/85.00 per person for hair and wanted to bring me down to 35.00 per person? No artist would go for that.
Again, I found you on craigslist it was your ad that you were looking for a hairstylist. I have all the papers in my computer and all the emails that go back and forth how you wanted me to come down to 35.00 per person for hair until I came to a median amount. No one else would have given the time and day. So dont say you would've paid more when you were giving me a hard time.
Lets not FORGET you asked me to give you ALL my clients information for clarifiction of my work and work habits??? This not a job interview. Trust me I have ALL THE EMAILS in my computer and even printed out of everything going back and forth.
So therefore, I request that you cease your deformation of my character because it prevents me from earning a living. Your harrassment is causing me financial stress. I urge you that you stop immediately of this harrasment as of today, otherwise I will have my attorney handle this, which will be a big financial damage due to your harrassment.
PS I guess you dont know when you got married, your wedding date was May 14 and you have April 1st. Gee I wonder.
