As a wedding photographer in Kansas City for many years, I was very clear early on that I wanted to use Classic Catering for the food at our reception. The Thai fruit carving done by Doug is so exquisite, you have to see it to believe it. Everything was fresh and tasted wonderful. As it should be, the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. You would think that is a norm, but very often that has not been the case in other weddings I photographed with other caterers.
Our guests commented all night and several days afterward that they food was some of the best they've ever had, and one even asked if they had a restaurant because he wanted to go there if so!
Mary, Doug, Jan and the support staff were simply fantastic. The waiters were dressed appropriately and attended to our guests very well. We highly recommend the fresh fruit display appetizer, beef tenderloin medallions, fingerling potatoes (not pretty but they taste amazing!) and the champagne chicken.
