Wonderful Day!

We had our ceremony and reception at CJ Hummels in September. The whole experience was fantastic. Rosy/Ashley were amazing as we planned our event, met with us all during the process to finalize our details. The day of the everything was set up perfectly at 8am already as we arrived to decorate and start getting ready. Ashley ensured we had snacks/drinks, she helped coordinate as vendors dropped off flowers/cake, etc. All the staff during the reception were fantastic at assisting guests, clearing tables, and bartending. Ashley ensured that the bride and groom got a chance to eat themselves! At the end of the night Ashley assisted us with gathering our things, we didn't feel rushed that we had to be out.

We priced out many different venues/food options and CJ Hummel's is truly an affordable one stop shop! We had our ceremony, reception, food, drinks and some decorations provided. It made finding the few vendors we needed (Flowers, Cake, DJ, Photographer) less stressing.

All inclusive & Afforable!

CJ Hummel’s was the perfect venue for our wedding. Close to home and provided everything we wanted! A lot of places want thousands of dollars just for a building but CJ Hummels offered a beautiful outdoor ceremony setting, the perfect indoor reception area, delicious food and a great bar package while staying affordable. Rosey and the other staff were amazing and very helpful. We highly recommend choosing CJ Hummel’s.

We had the absolute best experience planning our wedding with Hummels from the very first time we inquired with them all the way until the day of our wedding. They are so extremely helpful and make everything go as smooth as possible the whole entire time! They lifted the stress right off our shoulders and made our day everything we had dreamed of and more!

The Perfect Day

Professional and adapting. They make sure your special day is everything you want and more. The food was absolutely delicious and service was incredible. They are knowledgeable and aware of their surroundings and take pride in making sure everyone (not just the bride and groom) has an amazing experience. I would recommend this venue over and over again to anyone getting married and wants that backyard rustic charm.

Our October 22, 2023 wedding

We chose CJ Hummel's based on past experience. My daughter had her wedding reception there 11 years ago. I am happy to say their same dedication to your special day is still the same. Their staff, Janelle, Rosie and Ashley were so easy to work with. They are all very knowledgeable and helpful and accommodating. All the details were worked out easily. We came to our wedding reception with confidence and were able to relax and enjoy our day because they took care of everything. The food was amazing. Guests were even wanting to ask the chef how he prepared our main entree. Everything went perfectly! We highly recommend CJ Hummel's!!!

We used CJ Hummels for our 2023! I cannot say enough about how wonderful this venue is to work with for events. The coordination leading up to our wedding day alleviated stress for this bride. Friendly staff, great value, food and service remarkable!

Excellent experience from start to finish

This was an excellent experience from start to finish. The entire team at hummels treated us like family and really went above and beyond to make our wedding and ceremony very special. We have added them to our favorite spots to go and will be using them in the future. The staff was kind, courteous, professional, and helpful. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious. Our guests were still talking about how wonderful everything was and how good the food was. Excellent job to the entire team.

Made our wedding even more special!!

We can not say enough about how C.J. Hummels made our wedding day even more special than it was. Janelle was awesome at helping us plan everything from the beginning to the end. She made it stress free. Ashley made our wedding day go so smooth everything was perfect. The food was unbelievable and plenty for all guests. The service of food and beverage was excellent. Great job to all at C. J. Hummels would definitely recommend.

Amazing, professional

I booked my venue a few years ago and finally was able to celebrate my day on the 22nd of October. The staff were amazing, making sure everything was okay, asking if I needed anything. The venue/ ceremony was beautiful and I wouldn’t have changed a thing. The price was definitely affordable. The FOOD…. That was phenomenal, I have people calling me telling me how amazing the wedding and food was!!!!

Great rustic venue

Janelle and the rest of the staff are absolutely wonderful. They were responsive and answered all of our questions promptly prior to the wedding. They assisted us the day of as well to see that everything ran smoothly.

We had 100 guests at our wedding, but they have capacity for much more than that. We had our ceremony inside for our February 29th wedding, but the outdoor space is beautiful if your having a spring, summer, or fall wedding. The property offers a lot of great photo spaces as well. The food was delicious and we got a lot of compliments on it!! It was done as a buffet, and there are plenty of options to choose from.

We are so please with all the hard work everyone at the venue put into our special day! It is an absolutely beautiful venue for a rustic style wedding. My husband and I actually met at Hummels at a wedding 5 years prior, so it just felt right having our own wedding there.

Amazing great to work with

I had a great time working with Janelle planning my wedding. She made everything stress free from planning / set up , and day of my wedding. Even took the stress off me answering my mothers questions and catered to her views. (Big stress reliever) Everything we wanted that day Janelle made happen and the venue in itself was amazing. It has such a natural beauty to it that it does not take much to make it that special place. Food/ drinks were amazing no lines and had a lot of space to move around.Can not thank them enough for a great job making my day so special.

Amazing Wedding Venue

Janelle and the whole CJ Hummel family were wonderful! Janelle was very flexible with us since we live out of state now and allowed us to work in unconventional ways to make sure that everything was perfect for our day! On the day of our wedding Janelle made sure that everything ran smoothly and all of the staff were very friendly and attentive. CJ Hummel was the perfect place for our wedding!

Best decision

Janelle and the entire staff at CJ Hummels are wondrous! From the beginning stages of planning, all the way to the final day, this team was most accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. Janelle became more than a coordinator, she became a friend! She was super amiable, informative, responsive, thorough, and always had our best interest at heart. The food was absolutely exceptional--our guests couldn't stop raving about it! And with so many package options, we were able to get everything we wanted without going over budget. The staff was always present, ever-friendly, and willing to make our guests feel comfortable and catered to. Even our rehearsal dinner was fabulous! I cannot say enough about CJ Hummels. It was the best decision we made!

My husband and I got married yesterday at CJ Hummels on 10/7/17. We booked the date about a year and half in advance because we know the dates book very quickly! We have attended several reception at the venue, but never an outside ceremony. We decided to have our ceremony outside and it was the best decision we made. Having an on site wedding so guests could go inside right after the wedding was so convenient. From the moment we put our down payment through, Janelle was on top of everything. At times, I felt like I was the only wedding she was working on. Over the weekend CJ Hummels hosted a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday wedding. I never felt stressed or out of the loop. You have the options of planning a smaller intimate wedding or you can choose packages that fit almost any style. I cannot say anything but amazing things about Janelle, the staff, and the facility. If you are looking for an affordable, stress-free venue, CJ Hummels is your place! Book fast if you want the date of your dreams!

We had the best experience having our reception here! Janelle is a dream to work with. She was patient with all of my stupid questions and small requests. The food was amazing (stuffed flounder!) and allowing us to decorate the day before ensured everything was exactly how we wanted it. I can not say enough about CJ Hummel's and Janelle. They were amazing and so accommodating to work with. Our ceremony was slotted to be outside, and of course it just so happen to be raining 3 hours before our ceremony. Janelle asked if we'd like to push the ceremony back a little to let the rain pass, and of course we said yes. We had our ceremony outside and it was beautiful. The food was to die for. Janelle was extremely fast in her email responses, and never got tired of answering all of my silly questions. The staff that worked our wedding was also wonderful. We are so happy we chose Hummels as our wedding venue. You will not be disappointed!!!

We were so happy with this venue. Our outside ceremony was perfect. The staff was very helpful and always making sure everyone was ok. Our reception went amazing smooth with no problems at all. The food was delicious. Highly recommend.

CJ Hummels was the BEST venue that I could have ever asked for. Janelle was helpful and responded to my emails ASAP, she even handled my last minute changes and helped run my rehearsal the night before. We were able to set up our reception hall the night before. The day off the staff was very accommodating and was able to handle my weeping mom. If you're even thinking about having your wedding here do it!!! Even though they seemed to be a very "country" style venue due to the line dancing it fit my harry potter themed wedding very well! It was magical and there isn't anything I would have change!

CJ Hummel's is a great place to have your ceremony, reception, and rehearsal dinner at one place. We were married there on a rainy Earth Day 4/22/2017. Our guests raved about the food, the rustic environment, and the friendly staff. CJ Hummels has plenty of space to work with and a great value for your wedding budget. Janelle, her husband, and their staff take a lot of pride in what they do and are easily accommodating to all of your needs. We really wanted to have a outdoor ceremony and we weren't sure with the impending weather forecast. They did their best to wipe off the chairs and have the grounds ready. Janelle surprised us at the last minute to still have an outdoor ceremony even with the on/off rain showers in the vicinity. It was a wonderful Earth Day wedding. If you are looking for an affordable stress-free venue this is your place.
P.S.- we will be driving up there periodically to enjoy their honey dipped chicken and meat lasagna.

Our wedding at CJ Hummels was a huge success! Everyone commented on the space and the food and service were excellent! They had a little snack tray with fresh fruit and cheese as well as a selection of the other food items we chose upstairs for our arrival, along with beverages of course. The whole experience was great, Janelle was a huge help and always professional as well as flexible. If I could do it again I would! Thank you :)

CJ Hummels was absolutely perfect for our special day! My husband and I never would have thought to look there, since we didn't want rustic, but after hearing amazing things from a family member who attended a wedding there, we gave it a shot. Janelle had us sold on the location within an hour of talking. It was such a great decision.
Everything from the beginning of planning until the end of our reception was perfect thanks to the staff. Our friends and family could not get over how beautiful the venue looked and how delicious the food was!
We could not have asked for a better day and the perfect venue to make it that much more special.

From winter formals to dinners to our wedding day, CJ Hummels was always there for us. Janelle was fun and easy to work with, meeting all of our needs and wants without hesitation. If you ask it, she'll answer it! The food was outstanding and we even got to take home the extras. Everything was handicap accessible, which was a must have for a lot of our wedding guests. We had our wedding reception at Hummel's on 5/7/16 and everything went so smoothly! We were planning our wedding from out of state and Janelle was so flexible with meeting and going over the details of the event that it made planning the reception so easy and less stressful. She is very organized and experienced when it comes to hosting a wedding reception. The staff was very professional and extremely helpful. They had everything set up according to planned and were available whenever we needed them, but they were not in the way during the reception at all. Overall, the venue is very affordable, beautiful, has good quality food and a great value! We highly recommend this venue!!

I had both my ceremony and reception at this venue and everything was perfect. Janelle and her staff worked with us to make sure that everything went smoothly and was exactly how we were hoping it would be. Set-up was easy and we were able to make and use all our own decorations. The loft made it simple for the bridal party to get ready the morning of and made a great setting for pictures. The ceremony went flawless and the staff kept everything running right on time. The food selection is very well rounded and our families and friends all commented how good it was. Janelle even allowed for us to extend both our reception time and our pre-wedding prep time for a very reasonable fee. I could not be happier that I chose CJ Hummels as our wedding location!

From the flexibility in scheduling appointments with Janelle, to the set up, the wonderful staff, the excellent rehearsal dinner, and the beautiful outdoor/indoor setting. We were very fortunate to take a risk and go for the outdoor ceremony before the rain came storming in, and we made it in time! I had my reception here. The people at CJ Hummels are wonderful. I received prompt responses to all of my questions, and they were flexible in scheduling appointments with me. Janelle helped me so much, and I felt very relaxed and sure that everything would be taken care and would go smoothly. And it did. The reception was everything I could have hoped for and more. A truly wonderful experience. Janelle, she is fantastic to work with and speedy to answer all questions. My wedding was very memorable and I would not change a thing about it! The food is tasty, the prices are perfect and they are very flexible with making adjustments to combine different meal packages. We had our ceremony on site, which made the transition to the reception very smooth and effortless. The outdoor space is large enough with shade coverage on a hot summer day (which was a huge selling point to us). There is a pretty creek that runs along the backside we took pictures along. A pretty and quiet location.

Janelle was an absolute JOY to work with! Answered emails right away, was flexible, ran the day, and was so organized and professional. The food was wonderful, the venue beautiful, and the entire package was at a great value. Janelle planned in advance at the rehearsal dinner in case of rain, and then pulled off a beautiful ceremony indoors for us when it did indeed rain. During the entire planning process and the day of, I didn't have to worry or stress because I was 100% confident in Janelle's experience and organization. I first came across CJ Hummels about 7 years ago when my friend had her wedding here. I knew that that this is where I would have my wedding. Everyone on staff is so nice and wonderful to work with. The customer service is excellent, and that takes a huge weight off anyone's shoulders who is planning a wedding. With the caterer, linens, and bartender all in-house, planning the ceremony was incredibly easy and affordable. We worked primarily with Janelle and she was just outstanding - flexible with our schedules for meetings and flexible with our changes in plans. Her help and the help of the rest of the staff made our wedding day so easy and enjoyable - we had nothing to worry about. If you are looking for a place with great service, great food, and that's affordable, Hummels is your place.

I highly recommend having a wedding or any other event at CJ Hummels. The place was gorgeous, the food was excellent. When it comes to your wedding venue the most important things to my husband and I were the opportunity to transform the place into our vision and delicious food. C.J. Hummel's exceled in both of these areas. Janelle who I worked with through the entire process was prompt with email responses to all of my questions no matter how big or small. Since there was not an event on Friday we were able to come that afternoon and decorate all day before the rehearsal. Janelle was around for all of this to answer questions or fix someone that I wasn't sure of, be it table size, location, skirted tables, etc. I also had my rehearsal dinner at Hummel's because the food is absolutely delicious! Janelle was there to help make rehearsal go smoothly with the officiant and instructed my husband and myself as well as our families and bridal party about where we would be before the ceremony and walking out etc. I had my ceremony out back in the grassy area. The chair setup and area was perfect. It rained the entire day of my wedding and Janelle and her team allowed me to decided literally 10 minutes before my ceremony was starting if it was going to be inside or outside. The rain stopped within those 10 minutes and multiple people were outside drying off chairs and setting things up as I had envisioned. She never once questioned my decision, just supported me and said okay lets do it! which literally may have been the best thing I could have heard at that point. Janelle is absolutely fabulous to work with, flexible and really puts every effort into trying to make your dream wedding happen. There was not one thing that I was disappointed in with the rehearsal or the wedding day. C.J. Hummel's absolutely was perfect for me! Beautiful inside and outside, great staff, accompanies a lot of guests comfortably and THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS! Thank You!

My husband and I fell in love with this location for its intimate and rustic feel. The owners and employees from CJ Hummels could not have been nicer and so accommodating, they truly made us feel at home. And the pricing was awesome! We had our rehearsal dinner here and the catering for our reception was amazing, everyone was complimenting it and my husband to this day is still craving for the breaded veal and tortellini...it is to die for! This honestly couldn't have been more perfect for our simply sweet rustic wedding and it'll always have a special place in our hearts and memories for forever!

I used this venue for my reception. Though I had my ceremony elsehwere, I was still given a full 6 hours of their time which allowed for a cocktail hour and extended reception. Janelle was extremely helpful and easy to work with. For the yeaf and a half from the time I set my wedding date to the day itself, Janelle was accessible and willing to answer all the random questions I had throughout that time. They went above and beyond to ensure I was able to encorporate all my wedding colors into the linens which accented my centerpieces so well. I cannot say enough great things. The food was phenominal and so affordable! I didn't think I would be able to afford the wedding I wanted but was able to have an awesome reception on a very limited budget. I utilized DJ Chicken Nugget who frequently does events there and I also highly recommend him-super affordable and well organized!

What can I say, Janelle and the entire CJ Hummels Staff were amazing. During the wedding planning process Janelle was quick to respond to every email or phone call I had. We had our rehearsal dinner, our ceremony and reception all done at Hummels and everyone was complimenting on how nice and convenient that was. The location is very easy to get to no matter where you are coming from. We had a few out of state guests and even they thought it was easy to find! The food was awesome, the bartender was great and everything overall was just amazing. We had a 4:00 pm ceremony and it started to down pour about 15 minutes before our outdoor ceremony was to begin. Lets just say I am thankful I was wearing waterproof mascara, I had a mini meltdown over the rain. Especially since the forecast said there was 0% chance of precipitation. We had a back up plan of an indoor ceremony but my heart was set on an outdoor one. The bridal party and I were hanging upstairs in the loft while the guests and the groomsmen hung out in the large reception area below. Janelle came upstairs and assured me that once the rain passed they would get everything dried off and we could have our outdoor ceremony. That's just what happened too. Once the rain stopped it only took them about 10 minutes to get everything ready and our wedding ceremony went on without a hitch. Throughout the evening Janelle would check in to make sure everything was going smoothly which I really liked, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue. Janelle is awesome!

Janelle and her staff are absolutely FANTASTIC. I grew up in the area and was a patron of the restaurant for as long as I can remember. Once they added the reception hall onto the building, I always loved the space. My reception was everything I could have asked for and more from the food, to the staff, the open space, bar and of course, Janelle. I had 150 guests and never felt cramped or uncomfortable. My guests still talk about our wedding over a year and a half later and I truly believe its because the reception was simply perfect.

If you are looking for a simple yet elegant space where you as a bride do not have to worry about details, CJ Hummels and Janelle is the best option you will ever find!

CJ Hummels was incredible! Janelle and her staff were very professional and courteous. The food was excellent and my guests raved about it. The facility was wonderful and was the perfect choice for my wedding. I had 125 people attend my wedding and the spacious facility was surperb for dancing and mingling with
our guests. There was a spacious parking lot to accommodate all of my guests. Oh and dont let me forget about the spacious upstairs room that was part of the package. It was used for an area to get settled after arriving from the church/pictures. The staff provided drinks, some appitizers, and time to prepare ourselves before being announced down to the main reception room for dinner. Once downstairs everything went smoothly. I also have to highly recommend Ken Bungarz Jr. (our DJ) he was awesome. I would reccomned CJ Hummels to everyone.

Janelle was amazing to work with! Her staff were both professional and courteous toward everyone. Janelle allowed us to maintain our laid back personalities while making us feel very comfortable that she would help maintain structure throughout our big day. The venue itself is perfect in its design and it was just right for our wedding of roughly 125 people. People have been writing and calling both of our families since the wedding saying how wonderful the location was and that they had a fantastic time there. Janelle was so great to work with! She was so easy to talk to and meet with also. She was so accommodating with everything. My maid of honor needed to use a projection screen. Janelle made our experience relaxing, enjoyable, and instilled confidence in a time of stress for us as we were not very prepared. Her professionalism was not matched by any other other person we spoke to at other venues. Prices were very excellent and sesrvice was simply outstanding! Janelle's assistant (Erica) was available and helped with even the smallest of things, like when I lost my cell phone. And they made our wedding day amazing too!

I honestly cannot thank Janelle enough for all of her time and help throughout the entire planning process! My family had eaten at CJs before, so we already knew the food was good, but it tasted even better on our wedding! The wait-staff was also very nice and helpful throughout the event.

I also loved that we were able to come in and decorate the hall the night before - that really made the day feel special! (Especially since there are some places that do not allow any outside decorations.)

It was also great being able to have the "loft" area for the bridal party to get ready in, especially since our ceremony was also on-site.

I would whole-heartily recommend Janelle and CJ Hummels to anyone who is looking to have great food and a great venue at an amazing value! Thanks again for everything!

CJ Hummels hosted our wedding reception, and my wife and I were so pleased with the way everything was handled. Janelle and Dan the owners of CJ's were very easy to work with and very professional. The room we had the reception in looked very nice and cozy when we were finished with the decorating details and layout with ample room for our party!! They also catered our reception with quite a robust selection of buffet options available. The food was very good and hot. Janelle was very helpful though out the whole planning process. The reception went very smoothly. Before anything was done that she was not sure of she asked us what we wanted to do. The staff was very nice to out guest, no one complained to us about anything. The food was excellent. I would highly recommend CJ Hummels to anyone.

We were both very pleased to have our reception at C.J.Hummels. Janelle always went out of her way to answer our questions and made our big day run smooth. Staff was great. I'd highly recommend C.J.Hummels to bride and grooms to be. Food was delicious, service was perfect. Thank you Dan,Janelle and staff for everything you did to make our special day extra special.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at CJ Hummels. We give them the highest rating in all categories because they truly deserve it. The space is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the value is exceptional. On top of all of that, Janelle and Dan Loeb were available to answer our questions and guide us through the planning process. Since they have coordinated so many wedding receptions, their input and suggestions were invaluable and their reassurances made the entire planning process so much less stressful.

AMAZING!!!! We had a huge problem with the tableclothes that we rented from another vendor, and Janelle fixed it!!!! Janelle got us exactly what we wanted and went above and beyond the day before our wedding to fix the tablecloth problem! The reception was perfect thanks to Janelle!

During my search for a low-cost, elegant and spacious wedding hall, I found that my choices were extremely limited for my area. That is until I visited CJ Hummel's for my husband's class reunion and knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. Janellle is extremely organized and responsive and so much fun to work with. She took out all of the anxiety that a bride may feel when planning such a big event. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. I loved how beautiful the hall was especially when decorated and the hard-wood dance floor was so perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful wedding - thanks to Janelle and her staff at CJ Hummel's. I would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially couples that are trying to stay within a budget but are still wanting a beautiful wedding/reception. I am even thrilled with how terrific our outside pictures turned out. The grounds are so pretty. We can't say enough about Hummel's and we can't wait to return for a first year anniversary dinner to remember our special day!

My husband I met at CJ Hummels, so it was very important to us to have our reception there. Once we were engaged and we picked a date I immediately called and booked our date. From that moment on it was very easy and unstressful when dealing with them. I asked a lot of questions, changed things several times, however, I aways got a response right away and they were very helpful.

When it came time for the reception everyday leading up to our big day was just as easy. Janelle is very sweet and helpful and understands how special your day is and treats it like its just as important to her. Our reception was beautiful and elegant and we were treated like royalty. They made us feel like we were celebrities and we had just won an oscar....it was awesome!!!! Friends of ours got married at a country club and paid an arm and a leg for their reception and the food was horrible. Our food was delicious, the vegetables were fresh and crisp and everone is still taking about it 3 months later. I can't find one thing I would change or didn't like. We love Hummels!!!!
Anyone who wants to have a reception in the area would be insane if they didn't have it at Hummels...best reception venue by far!!!

Thank you CJ Hummel Family for making our day so special!! We appreciate all of your love and dedication to our big day!

Our reception was held here on September 25th 2010. It was FABULOUS! The hall was absolutely gorgeous, and the food was so delcious. Janelle was wonderful. She made everything go so smoothly. She was very attentive during the reception, always checking to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. We got a ton of compliments on our reception. Everyone thought that is was absolutely beautiful and the food was so delicious. I cannot say enough good things about C J Hummel's. We will definately keep hummel's in mind for any future partys or banquets that we have, Thank you Janelle for making our day so special!

Imagine the best service of your life, and thats what we received at CJ Hummels. They really know how to take care of their customers. We got our cake at a different vendor, and it was a total disaster. Dan the owner at CJ Hummels got us a brand new one that was gorgeous over night! Anything we wanted, we got!

We had a fantastic wedding at CJ Hummel's on 11/18/17. Even though we had planned to have an outdoor ceremony, the weather had other plans. Since the forecast was calling for rain, we decided to move the ceremony inside the day before. Janelle and her staff were so accommodating and took care of all our vendors the day of the wedding. She took the stress off of us to make sure we had a great day! Our theme was fall/rustic and the interior of the main hall was perfect!! If you are thinking about having an event at CJ Hummel's, don't hesitate to contact Janelle. She is super nice and wonderful to work with. My husband and I met at Hummels about 10 years ago. We decided to have both our ceremony and reception at Hummels and I couldn't have been happier with our decision. Janelle was a saint. She was terrific to work with and I'm fairly certain this was part of the reason I was so relaxed on my wedding day. I knew Janelle had everything taken care of! The only reason that I rated the Quality of Service with a 4.5 is because, while Janelle was excelllent, the bartender that was supposed to be on duty wasn't. Their were a few times that I noticed some of our guests waiting for the bartender to return from wherever she was and I was a little disappointed that even though we paid $75 for her to stand at the bar she found it more important to stand elsewhere. This is my only complaint with Hummels.

We had a fantastic experience with Janelle and Hummel's! Our wedding reception was PERFECTION and we could not have pulled it off without Janelle's help! She was so easy to get in contact with and the nicest person you'll ever meet. I highly recommend Hummel's for a wedding reception. The staff is super friendly and the dance floor is AWESOME (not one of those little 8x8 ones). Food was great, we brought our own decorations and hired a band and the night was just flawless from start to finish.

My husband and I recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at CJ Hummels and we cannot stop raving to our families and friends about how wonderfully everything went! Aside from how beautiful everything looked, the staff was seriously on their game! The woman who manages the events at Hummels, Janelle, was so incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly that day. We would recommend this location to anyone. The food was great and the staff working during our reception were very friendly. We thought the wedding package prices were very reasonable. Unlike other local wedding venues, you seem to get more included in the packages. Our wedding guests are going to be talking about our wedding for a long time! Definitely consider CJ Hummels in your wedding planning process!

Our wedding reception for 240 was amazing. Janelle was very flexible with all of our requests. She explained everything thoroughly and made sure all of our questions were answered. I was very impressed with her amount of contact the last week to make sure we had everything we needed and she understood all of our desires. The hall looked beautiful, the food was good and the wait staff was very nice. I would highly recommend CJ Hummels to anyone looking for a beautiful place with good food and a professional staff for your reception needs.

We had our ceremony and wedding at CJ Hummels recently and this venue is great! We were supposed to have our ceremony outside, but it rained all afternoon. I was able to make the call to have it inside one hour before the ceremony started. Even though it was inside our ceremony turned out beautiful! This venue has a great reception hall and background! Janelle was incredibly helpful and detailed with planning our wedding. She was also very flexible to our requests. The staff was also very attentive to everyone's needs. We would definitely recommend this venue!

Janelle did her best to make sure that we felt that we were receiving first-class attention and care. She answered all of our questions readily and asked us all of the correct questions. She was very accommodating in having us visit the site several times and was extremely friendly, as was the entire staff.

Food was ONLY ok

I recently went to a wedding here. The roast beef, and pumpernickel bread were good. Chicken was overcooked, green beans were canned with a white sauce that didn't have much flavor.
Mashed potatoes tasted like instant .
I wouldn't cater from this place.
